I think this fits the comment "I don't pay them to come. I pay them to leave." I would think it might be easier to just pay them and avoid the drama of them hoping that the encounter will be such a epiphany of joy that you will immediately become their permanent sugar daddy.

I wouldn't know, but I imagine the rich clients there are willing to pay extra for discretion. Never been a place high on my list to visit. Any Dubai regulars care to enlighten us?

I would imagine the illegality of all homosexual conduct in the UAE has some play in how expensive escorts are.

Wow, that's a lot of injuries too. Do people really not listen when they say keep your seatbelt buckled when you are in your seat?

There are viewpoints that some of us feel are disagreeable enough that we wouldn't wish to give our money to those who espouse them. The guides are good. I've used and recommended them in the past. I just couldn't give the company money now. If you don't care who gets your money, then you do you.

Do review prices though. $120 - $160 an hour isn't a bargain, but obviously that isn't a hurdle for some. For comparision, the 200K cop that is quoted above is about $50 and some mileroticos escorts do advertise english proficiency.

>>Sara is the intimacy director and consent consultant for LA Opera.<< Sara Widzer got a credit. Have you been to the movies lately. If you were in a room where making the movie was discussed you get a credit these days. It seems ridiculous to me, but then it isn't my industry and I don't know what having a credit really does for you. I do recall reading about tech companies some time ago offering people bigger titles if they'd take less pay. Some people took them up on it, since it would help with their next job.

It seems perfectly reasonable to me to have someone who can help the actors walkthrough and negotiate a scene. I imagine all the male posters here have never had the experience of being groped or raped, but lots of women have. Negotiating and designing the scene upfront prevents any misunderstandings or male actors taking liberties in the name of 'art'. And I imagine it does help limit liability and future problems.

Looking down the list of reasons in that study, the significant majority of them seem to back the point I made. I think it is strange to look at that study and its list of reasons and not reach the conclusions that the women surveyed thought that marriage was a bad deal for them.

Is "don't call me" the new standard internationally now?
caeron replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
My job required me to be available 24x7, though it almost never was necessary. On vacations I checked voicemail, but put on autoresponder on email where the bulk of my work came from. You needed work done, he didn't respond, you found somebody else. I think it's a bit of a shrug of the shoulders. He might have forgotten to update his voicemail. Perhaps almost no one calls him anymore so he didn't think to. Maybe he just didn't bother to care. Who cares? He's an agent you worked with, nothing more. -
Gen V/Sabrina hunk Chance Perdomo dies in motorcycle accident
caeron replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
Motorcycles are so dangerous. One of the few things my father, a physician who worked at times in the emergency room, asked of me was to never ride a motorcycle. He saw too many young men die on them. -
I suspect she was innocent, since it almost always men who commit those kinds of murders. Doesn't take a genius to figure out from what soil those gangs arose.

How idiotic. How is the US responsible for a cease fire in Gaza? Are we supposed to invade Gaza? Overthrow the Israeli Government and install our own? We're hardly saints, but if we did this with some other sovereign nation, the OP would be screaming about that too. Russian trolls. They're everywhere.

Yeah, those Warsaw ghettos are nice old buildings. Once we move the people out, we can clean them up and 'nice' people can move in.....

Two New Zealand Men Arrested in Phuket for Brutal Assault on Cop

This will not end well for them. -
Some venues will also help you plan. They have caterers and florists they work with. We held ours at a french restaurant and had a 13 course meal with a harpist. Low-key, fabulous and with an intimate group of friends and family. I might start with where you want to hold it, then decide what help you need. If you're not planning on blowing a HUGE amount on a wedding, $6K is insane. Some people do spend $100K and for them such a wedding planner might make sense. I can't see it if you're spending a lot less. My guess is you're not planning on a $100K wedding if you're asking this question...

I work with a personal trainer who pulls no punches 3 times a week. I hate it, but it has done wonders because he makes me do shit I would never, ever do on my own.
-
I think he's mildly funny, but if I'm not seeing them in an intimate venue, why not just watch them on Youtube or Tiktok? Same stuff for free. He is hot, but you can get hot a lot cheaper than buying a stadium ticket.

Naming and shaming: Jack from Circle Pub in Chiang Mai
caeron replied to moistmango's topic in Gay Thailand
While I am sure all of us can understand the frustration, I think this post is unnecessary. If all of your tip money was returned, then it seems quite likely that he will face severe repercussions at work. Also, it may be that if you're paying it all to the house, that they are keeping such a large portion of the guy's income that he feels he needs to play such games in the hopes of salvaging something. Hard to know, but whatever the case, "Jack" is likely to feel the full weight of the event. -
The question is what kind of friend. I think many westerners think friendship is by definition two equals. My experience is that in many other parts of the world this isn't true. These relationships come with expectations that the richer/older/wiser is the patron/mentor. Note the richer part. That doesn't mean the relationship is purely mercenary (though it could be), but it does often mean that the richer one is supposed to 'help' the younger one. So, I think it isn't always either/or. Sometimes its both. Proceed with whatever caution you deem warranted and assess it in the light that both want something from the relationship and it may not be the same thing even if both are fond of each other.

Has this new law affecting US museums gone too far?
caeron replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
Pretty sure if we dug up catholic relics and displayed them in museums with signage about the catholic burial customs there would be a lot of pissed off people. If Catholic skulls were gifted to a museum in the 60's that were used to study "characteristics of catholics", I'm pretty sure we would be appalled. They were digging up native burials into the 1900s. This isn't ancient history. -
I think it's a bit perverse that the piece of colonialism that many Africans held onto was homophobia. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/mar/08/african-homosexuality-colonial-import-myth

Has this new law affecting US museums gone too far?
caeron replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
Context helps. US museums held in the 1990s more than 200,000 native human remains. As of the 2022, only about half had been returned to their people. Human remains were still being given to museums in the 60s. Those looted graves also included funerary objects which were taken. I would personally be pretty appalled if my ancestors were being dug up and stuck in museum basements gathering dust because somebody thought their interest in how they were buried trumped any decent respect for the dead. US museums are stuffed with looted artifacts. I think it is long past time to hold them responsible for their collections. The law may have unintended consequences, but the problem it is very real and very current. I suggest anybody who is curious spend a few minutes with google to educate themselves.
