    Bangkok 2024

Had the pleasure of meeting TMax a few days ago at Foodland. It was interesting to compare notes on current and former massage venues around town with someone who made his first trip here four years before I did and still has excellent recall. Although he’s here for a short trip this time, I was impressed that he has been enjoying relaxing excursions on the river commuter boats and extended walks around the Silom area that I, too, like. These are some of the activities that can nicely fill out a day in my favorite town. Hope we can get together again when he plans to return next year.

    MIMA Party 2025

Dear all, Yesterday, over in the Massage Insider and Massage Addicted LINE forums, it was announced the following FIRST time combined event for massage aficionados: Unfortunately, I will be outside of Thailand (in The Philippines) until 03-Mar-2025. This event sounds really appealing to me - perhaps, @Verchiele would agree? Especially since it says that many of the local massage shops will participate with many of their massage guys performing. WOW!!! Maybe you would see your favorite massage guy on 18-Jan-2025 ? Below are 3 screenshots from my LINE feed after the LINE Samsung AI autotranslate feature tried to translate the announcement from Thai to English (apologies if something does not make sense). p.s. please don't forget about this next upcoming exciting event, Crete the Party, in Bangkok on Saturday 30 November 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Bangkok (Lumphini).

  4. I truly hope that the current Thai government keeps this momentum going as it is an EXCELLENT segway towards Thailand hosting the World Pride 2030. I was part of the Rome World Pride 2000 as a volunteer, and it was truly an AMAZING experience, with an estimated number of visitors due to the events at about 1 million people. Plus, this event had very difficult hurdles to overcome - because year 2000 was also the Jubileo - as sponsored by The Vatican - and The Vatican was NOT happy to share any of their limelight with World Pride 2000 and did everything in their power to minimize and/or shut down World Pride 2000 via their strong influence in the conservative Italian government. Thailand being much more open minded than Italy - is an exemplary choice for year 2030 World Pride. https://www.nationthailand.com/news/tourism/40039151 I hope that Pattaya will join in these 2030 festivities - as those 1 million tourists will need to release their tension and desire to relax in what Pattaya / Jomtien has on offer.

To be honest I feel a bit ashamed of this report, because usually I am involved in more romantic and soulful sex, when there is not only physical passion, but also the boy himself is interesting as a person. But in Tunisia there was pure rough sex, with minimal communication. And I was only in a passive role, but I wanted to fuck too But still, hard Arab cocks are worth trying, they are great!

I think the main recommendation is to be careful and always manage the situation, because Tunisia is not a place where you can throw back some cocktails or whiskey and calmly look for adventures However, there are plenty of guys who want to make money on sex and the travel can be very intense and hot. If you choose a good resort outside the city, then you may not be allowed to take the guy inside. But with city hotels in the center this is sometimes possible, usually this is mentioned in the reviews. I think the best choice would be Airbnb, because in this case everything is under your control. But you should only choose options with a good rating and many reviews, because there is a lot of scam even there. The boys are generally look good, but usually it's 'boy-next-door' type. There are very few really handsome ones who look like Arab princes. In sex, they are mostly active and fuck roughly. When you give them a blowjob, they confidently shove the dick as deep as possible, especially when they cum. Sometimes you come across long dicks like a horse Also remember that Tunisians don't care about condoms and you will have to take care of it yourself. I also advise you not to get involved with those who will offer hashish or other things, because there is a well-known deception scheme. Otherwise, it is an ordinary city, where there are supermarkets (even with alcohol), shopping centres, good restaurants can be found in Port El Kantaoui. As for excursions, I recommend the Sahara for 2 days, it's not easy, but interesting and remains in the memory for a long time.

Last night, I went with my main squeeze to the @Home bar in the Jomtien Complex for their weekly BINGO night and we were turned away as there was no more seating available. I have never seen it so crowded as it was last night. I am truly happy for the bar owners - as the low season, when most of you forum members are not here, is like a ghost town, and it is truly amazing that these bars even survive.

It was a pleasure to meet and chat with you @reader, it's been a relaxing trip so far and something that was needed before the medical procedures back home, this thing slowed me down more than I had hoped. It's just a pity I haven't been able to visit more massage places this trip but very much hoping to be back late next year with less restrictions.

  17. From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon The traditional gay scene in Thai tourist cities has centered on westerners. But that scenario could be changing with marriage equality becoming legal early next year. Bangkok’s Rainbow Alliance points out there are three billion people living less than five hours flying time from Bangkok. They reside in countries where homosexuality is either frowned on or actually illegal. So the trickledown benefits to Thailand’s economy could be awesome. Thailand is the first country in south east Asia to legalize same sex nuptials. According to the digital travel platform Agoda, 4 million extra visitors could boost revenue by US$2 billion and lift the country’s gross national product by 0.3 percent. Thailand’s friendly gay image is a key plank of the international marketing plan to entice any and all interest groups as long as they’re not actually a threat to national security. The advent of the 60 days visa-free entry and of the five-years validity Destination Thailand Visa are just two examples of the strategy in action. As usual in Asian economic affairs, China leads the way. Owen Zhu, a Bangkok-based realtor, said that the purchase of Thai condominiums by Chinese gays was now mainstream as some look to establish second homes in Thailand with their partners, or anticipate longterm capital appreciation. What appeals to gay Chinese is “a place where you are accepted”. One pointed out in the South China Morning Post that you would never find a transexual receptionist at a business in China, a common phenomenon in Thailand. Chinese nationals buy 40 percent of all foreign property purchases in Thailand. Indian tourist numbers to Thailand have rocketed since the abolition of visa restrictions on entry although gayness is still a matter most prefer to keep private. There is heavy investment in the Thai hospitality industry, often via proxies in Dubai, but not directly in gay-orientated businesses. However, this could well change during the next few years. A spokesperson for Pattaya’s Walking Street Collective said, “There are lots of Indians already enjoying themselves in dance clubs, so it’s just a matter of time before the gay scene opens up.” There are other clues. According to Bangkok Pride, there are many Asians trying to register for their gay wedding in Thailand from January 2025, South Koreans and Singaporeans in particular. A Pacific-based gay tour operator, Thai Freedoms, is advertising Thai vacations in Malaysia and Indonesia where homophobia still rules the roost. A previous report by Agoda claimed that Thailand is the most popular destination for Japanese gay vacationers. Meanwhile, Thailand’s Boy Love website and mini-series dramas are popular throughout the region, clearly indicating how soft power or influences can stimulate the economy. This is not to say that western gay tourists are a relic of the past. The commercial gay scene is still mostly geared to them, although online dating apps less so. But the number of European and American visitors, as well as expats, appear to be declining, even though the return of the Trump administration in USA could witness more voluntary exiles including a fair proportion of gays seeking warmer climes. International Thai tourism has already experienced many shakeups as it has diversified its appeal beyond traditional western fun seekers. As Thailand’s business orientation continues to evolve, gay tourism can be expected to follow suit.

    trip report

A huge change since our last visit three months ago. We walked through the bar area at about 2000 (yes, I know that's early) and were amazed at the number of guys eagerly awaiting the attention of punters. And there were certainly more falang visitors than last time....the bingo bar was packed. Dick's and Sandbar, our two Jomtien favourites, have been busy since we arrived last week. This morning we walked the beach through the gay area; many bathers and beach-lovers as well as people merely strolling, like us. In fact, I don't remember seeing this number of people there for ten years at least. We also walked past Boyztown a couple of nights ago, again rather early, and it seemed to be almost deserted. Perhaps the crowds came later.

  26. Much has been posted regarding how Trump managed to score the hat trick of US presidential elections: capturing both houses of congress and the White House. Posters have pretty much exhausted the missteps of the Democrats but have not given sufficient credit to role evangelicals played. From The BBC Standing on a podium in a Florida convention centre on the night of the election, a row of American flags behind him and a jubilant crowd looking on, Donald Trump declared: “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness.” This was one of the most striking themes of his election campaign - that he had been chosen by God. Yet even before the attempt on his life on 13 July in Butler, Pennsylvania, millions of Americans already felt guided by their faith to support the former, and now future, president. Some cast the election in an apocalyptic light and likened Trump to a Biblical figure. Last year, on the Christian show FlashPoint, TV evangelist Hank Kunneman described “a battle between good and evil”, adding: “There's something on President Trump that the enemy fears: it's called the anointing.” Jim Caviezel, an actor who played Jesus in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, proclaimed, albeit jokingly, that Trump was “the new Moses”. Then, in the months leading up to the election, many of his supporters referred to him as a “saviour”. The question is why. What makes so many see this man, who isn’t known to have an especially strong faith, as sent from God? And what does that say about Christianity more broadly in a country where the numbers of churchgoers is in rapid decline? Reverend Franklin Graham is one of America’s best-known evangelists and the son of Billy Graham, arguably its most famous preacher. He is one of the Trump believers, convinced there is no doubt that the president-elect was chosen for this mission by God. “The bullet that went through his ear missed his brain by a millimetre, and his head turned just at the last second when the gun was fired,” he says. “I believe that God turned his head and saved his life.” The questions asked about Trump’s character - including accusations of sexual misconduct, and his alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels and associatedhush-money trial - don't dim Mr Graham’s view. 27. There is another answer, to give the devil his due - so to speak. Policy. Poll after poll reveals that they like Trump's conservative policies. They would love a national abortion ban. When asked whether they are voting for the person, or the policies, they usually answer the policies. If we are talking evangelicals, these are also the people who would like to repeal same sex marriage, if they can. They are happy to make a deal with the devil, so to speak. We could care less about Trump's crimes and infidelities. We just want our conservative policies. And judges. And they got them.

  31. Second visit to Bangkok 15/11/25 So this is my second only visit to Bangkok and my first trip report. I will try to do an update every three days or so as I am taking my time and won’t have much to add on a daily basis. Staying at the Hilton Millenium a little out but only 15 minutes to Sala Daeng and 100 bhat in the taxi back from Soi 4 so not too bad and I like the full service hotels and have points so that’s another reason I use the hotel, also no issues taking people to room. First night I did not realise was Loi Krathong so the hotel was full with youngsters in traditional dress taking there Lantern’s down to the pier to put in the river, very nice to see. To take away the stress of the first night I had a boy from Dreamboys who I offed twice on my fist visit come for the night, we have stayed in touch since February so was nice to see him, go to Icon Siam for a meal, the place was very busy and then have first night fun, he headed home after a large breakfast. Hilton dose serve a very large and good spread. Saturday was a lazy day about 8pm went across to Soi 2 and 4 and had a walk around the area to familiarise myself with the various locations, I have to say I find shamelessmack maps very useful in this. Was early about 8.45pm but decided to have a quick look inside The One, funny thing I went to Tawan in February but it was the night the police had closed the place so just found a locked shop. It was probably because I was too early, but I was the only person in the place, three models on the stage and everyone else on their phones completely ignoring me, all older 30 plus nothing toned more solid / some weight. I finished my 500 baht coke and left within 5 minutes. The guy outside who had taken me in then offered massage and sex but he was not my type, same as the guys in the shop so declined and headed off to I think Soi 2. I called in to Dragon and Koi, again this is about 9.20pm so still early, couple of people in the bar had a cocktail (395 baht) and a beer (130 baht) and was joined by one of the servers from Myanmar who spoke quite good English. Let me know he would be one of the dancers that night but I would miss him as by 10pm I was heading to Freshboys for the remainder of the night. Freshboys (10pm show started at 10.30pm) the boys where on stage in their white shorts doing the normal parade, all twink / twunk most nicely toned and my type. Did not think I was going to off anyone but decided to buy number 16 a drink and he stayed with me for the rest of the night, apart from going back on stage on three occasions. Very affectionate and with a fantastic hard body all muscle from Vietnam. The place got busy as the show started and was full of people, having to squeeze in by about 10.50pm. There were only three Diva songs (same person) which where quite good as well as the big dick show, shower show and at least two sets where oral sex was performed so I thought a good show. By the last parade at about 12.30am my boy had not been offed so after enjoying him for the best part of two and a half hours I changed plans and offed him for the night. Quick bite to eat at Foodland. Walking past Dragon and Koi it was definitely more busy with a dance show going on two boys on the floor and three on the bar, but you would think at that time on a Saturday night it should be. Lots of fun with my Vietnamese boy for the night he left after having breakfast. This has gone on far too long so will stop at day two. Hope my writing style is ok, having read a lot of trip reports I find it difficult to know if this is any good or waffle. Feedback and suggestions welcome.

  37. From The Thaiger A brawl erupted between a Thai transwoman and a foreign man at a hotel in Phuket after the foreigner refused to pay upon discovering her gender. A source, who wishes to remain anonymous, reported the altercation between the Thai transwoman and the foreign man to the local news Facebook page, Phuket Times, on November 18. The page shared a post. The Facebook page provided more details in the comments section. According to the news source, the foreign man asked the transwoman to leave the hotel, stating that he did not know she was not a woman. During the argument, they threw items at each other in the hotel room, causing chaos in the hotel. The incident reportedly took place in the Patong area of Phuket. In a related story reported in February, a Thai transwoman attacked three foreign men with a knife at a hotel in Phuket after the men called her and two other transwomen to the hotel but paid only one of them. The transwoman claimed that the men had attacked her first, so she acted in self-defence.

Hi, we are visiting Uruguay at the moment. We started in Montevideo which is a really beautiful city - gay scene is small but interesting- unfortunately some bars were only open from Thursday-Sunday (and we arrived on Monday). We stayed at the smart hotel and we were not the only gay guests there… We also visited the gay sauna Toronto which is a very modern clean place - arrived there in the late afternoon and stayed for 2-3 hours. No guys for money but guests from 25-60 very mixed crowed and a good masseur also. on Friday we drove with a rental car for the weekend up the coast to the Undarius hotel, a clothing optional all male hotel. Very clean place close to the nudist beach, 13 rooms, nice pool and hottub +sauna. Guests from Brazil, Argentina and Montevideo - love it here. At the nudist beach especially in the afternoon a lot of gays are looking for fun, starts on the parking lot and continues in the small pine wood behind the lake arroyo el potrero… Tomorrow we will continue our journey to Colonia del Sacramento and then, after a short stop-over in Montevideo we will fly to Rio de Janeiro and staying there for 11 days.

  43. Well, one cannot condone antisemitism, hate, or violence. That being said, many Israeli fans clearly tried to provoke the Palestinians and other Arabs, and they succeeded: https://apnews.com/article/maccabi-tel-aviv-amsterdam-violence-protests-palestinian-bcea212281f682098c4c77ef552af5f1 "...Tensions had been brewing in Amsterdam for days ahead of the match. A Palestinian flag was torn down from a building in Amsterdam on Wednesday, Dutch broadcaster NOS reported, and authorities banned a pro-Palestinian demonstration near the stadium. Ahead of the game, large crowds of supporters of the Israeli team could be seen on video chanting anti-Arab slogans as they headed to the stadium, escorted by police. “Let the IDF win, and fuck the Arabs,” the fans chanted, using the acronym of the Israeli military, as they shook their fists. It also showed police pushing several pro-Palestinian protesters away from a Maccabi fan gathering in a square earlier in the day...". Do the provocations justify violence? No. However, the consequences of anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian slurs and actions could easily be predicted. Most of the 2 million people in Gaza are not Hamas fighters, but rather innocent bystanders. The Israeli fans not only showed a complete lack of empathy and tact, but actually made fun of the innocent civilians. As Hamas figured out, provocations often lead to consequences.

Deputy Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said after the meeting on Tuesday that the cabinet approved the ministry’s proposal for additional government holidays in June and August next year and in January 2026. The extra holidays next year are both Mondays, June 2 and Aug 11, with the Queen’s birthday holiday on June 3 and Mother’s Day on Aug 12 — creating a four-day weekend.
