TRIP REPORT: LAST DAYS IN BANGKOK Friday was Loy Krathong. Just after sunset I went to Lumphini Park to watch the floating candle-lit krathongs in the water there. Was nice moment to catch. After some Thai food it was time to hit the bars again with @vinapuDiscussing where to go this night while having a tea in Foodland, we decided to check out some bars I didn't go to yet this time. Starting with Banana club in soi 4. Their shows start early, so when we entered it was already going on. During our stay there, there was show all the time. We didn't get to see any boy parade. TRIP REPORT: BACK IN BANGKOK So I am back on Bangkok. After few weeks traveling around China and a few relaxing days in Da Nang (Vietnam) I'm in Thailand for 4 nights before I fly back home. On wednesday I had the honor to meet forum legend @vinapu for the first time. We would meet at the beginning of soi 4 in front of the taco restaurant. Just starting the thread now and will keep updating as I go. So on to Plan B this trip. Thai airways didn't let me down as the plane from Perth was late (as always it seems) but the crew, service, food and entertainment were all very good. Breakfast starts 6am but there was a fair crowd of Europeans in there, had a feeling they were in a tour group and getting an early start as there are 2 big busses outside. Hit Foodland to stock up the room. Plan for the rest of the day See if I can get my old Rabbit card reactivated and squeeze in a bit more shopping, this afternoon will be Senso for a 2 hour relaxing massage with extras. Earlier in this trip report I shortly already wrote about my time in China. About boys it was not very eventful. Besides a nice massageboy in Beijing. In addition to what @reader posted above about Cambodia and The Philippines - we can add Malaysia to this growing list. Was too easy getting the Rabbit card set up again despite it not being used for about 5 years, took all of about one minute to get it done and topped up, no need for any form of identification required either. Senso: a bit different since long ago visit, this time the price was all inclusive of massage and boys tip payable on completion downstairs, previous for me was tip the boy in the room and then pay for massage session downstairs.
