  1. Took the afternoon "deluxe" bus from Siem Reap to PP, got a good night rest so was better than having to wake up and rush to the 7 or 8am bus. 6 boring hours with lots of horn honking, bit a smooth ride otherwise with a food option half way thru the trip, not bad for $15usd. Vet air bus express, they have vans or busses, it's recommended to take the bus, more comfortable. Staying at the same hotel I stayed at my only other time here, 10 yrs ago, how times flies. Silver mounts hotel, VERY basic but great location, clean, quiet, free b'fast, no buffet today so choice to order off the menu and no problems with guests, at b'fast there was an older guy with a local guy and last night another guy with a younger girl. $21 usd a night is a bargain. I met someone on Blued, we went to Space hair bar and had some drinks talked and joked around with the guys, met a guy from the UK that lives here, very funny and also a group of straight older couples from the UK came in...had a very fun vibe last night. Even the guy I was with was saying the guys working the bar are all not straight and a couple of bottoms... Back to the hotel and my guy's phone had died and I guess he has a digital ID that he couldn't access, so the front desk guy just took his picture....no drama like in Colombia. Lots of other choices in the apps, I'm sure I'll enjoy PP much more than SR. Funny thing, someone messaged me on grindr and said welcome back...I thought, who is going to remember me from 10 yrs ago? So my instinct was it's a ploy to talk to me....I didn't recognize any of his pics. He then sent pics of us together 10 yrs ago, OMG. He changed sooo much, some age better than others I guess. The water festival starts tonight, I didn't plan to be here for that, supposedly lots of out of towners come in, lets see how the next couple of days go....

  2. TRIP REPORT: BACK IN BANGKOK So I am back on Bangkok. After few weeks traveling around China and a few relaxing days in Da Nang (Vietnam) I'm in Thailand for 4 nights before I fly back home. On wednesday I had the honor to meet forum legend @vinapu for the first time. We would meet at the beginning of soi 4 in front of the taco restaurant. And with the description "KFC guy but without the goatee" it was very easy to recognize him. After a first drink and some smalltalk on the terrace of Banana in soi 4 we agreed to go to Jupiter for the show. We were early. And we enjoyed a good singer perform before the boyshow started. Show was entertaining again. When the show started the place was I would say half full, but during the show more customers came in. Multiple boys that are my type and could be possible candidates for an off. After Vinapu made his decision on which boy he wanted that night first, I also made my choice. Nice boy from Cambodia. He was fine in the bedroom, but he would not earn a top10 position of boys I ever had. I like it when the boy takes some initiative. This boy was a bit to shy in the bedroom. But as Vinapu said the day after to me: "still better than an empty bed". Wise words. Thursday afternoon I was chilling in my hotelroom. Browsing Grindr. Chatting with a horny 27yrs old muscle guy offering massage and fun. I couldn't resist and invited him to my room. It turned out a good choice. He was goodlooking and could speak very good English because he's from Malaysia. Massage skills also good. As a picture says more than 1000 words, I will put one of his profile pics below. Off course in discrete way so I have cut off his face... He really took time for a decent massage. And after the massage part it only got better. With finally him offering me his ass in a naughty, slutty way. I like it. In the evening meet up with Vinapu again. Went to "world famous UNESCO heritage" Foodland for a drink. The night before he found out I had never been to Moonlight before. According to him that was a shame. A sin. How could I, while I like muscular guys, never been to Moonlight. So it was time we changed that tonight and go there together. When I admitted it was actually also my first time in Foodland, I think the word "disgrace" was used by Vinapu to describe my behavior of not having visited some famous important places on any of my precious trips to Bangkok. Lol I really liked Moonlight. So many guys that are my type. One of my favorites is Nut. I think he looks cute, because of his curly hair. Pic below from Facebook livestream of Moonlight on the night I was there... I was expecting a bigger crowd in Moonlight. I think there was a total of about 15 or 20 customers. There was more staff present (waiters and boys) than customers. When long-time Moonlight star Babe came on stage, I was first saying to Vinapu I couldn't understand why he was the big star of the club. Because I thought he was not very special. That was before het took his short off. What a sexy hot body he has! So actually he also became one of my favorites. Lol Feels good not to be a Moonlight virgin anymore. We had a quick visit to Hotmale after Moonlight. It was just after midnight and we were the only customers there, but decided on ordering a drink anyway. That's when we found out there was a boy there we both offed before. Made us laugh. It was a good night again.

  5. What % even have a passport....they have no clue.... sad. Last time Republicans won electoral and popular vote, was Bush Jr....how'd that turn out? Again Trump is being handed a great economy, let's see him fuck it up again. Actually, Democrats are the ones that seem to get economies in order only for a Republican to come and mess it up...time and time again.

  6. Er, inflation is down, it was never huge, jobs are up, and Trump will make sure that only the rich can afford homes. Good luck with your serial adulterer and felon. I assume that you are one of the wealthy, who will profit, God help you if you are poor. After all, per Trump, if you're poor its your fault.

  7. Hi all, I've been meaning to share my experience from my trip to Medellin back in August 2024 but didn't find the time to actually do it 😅. Finally managed to sit down and pen this out. It will be just a brief report on my experience. I was there for about 1 week during the Fiera de Flores, and stayed at Poblado. Weather It was technically winter when I was there but weather was perfect. There were a few short rain spells but otherwise, it was sunny mostly with a chilly temperature. Hotel I stayed at Haven, A Design Hotel smacked in the middle of Poblado. Their staff were all amazing but just a head's up, this hotel really is for those who like to party. Their rooftop pool/bar host events on the weekend and the music is so loud and lasts till early morning (around 4 am, I think), you won't get much sleep. Weekdays are a bit more bearable but the hotel is surrounded by bars, so still pretty noisy. But they do give you complementary ear plugs 😅. The hotel does have a clear additional visitor/guest policy. I noticed they're pretty open about it, so I'm guessing it is sort of a known thing that those who stay there tend to bring guests back to the room? Just my guess though. All said, I would still stay here in my next visit. Haha Language Not being able to speak Spanish can be quite the challenge. While you can always use a translator app, it is not convenient to meet with guys or even do the usual day-to-day things. Security I've read a lot of tips when it comes to safety prior to trip. When I was there, I did not have any issues with safety nor did I feel I was unsafe or insecure at any time. Perhaps it is the neighbourhood but ultimately, I do feel that if you take reasonable precautions, you'll be alright. Gay Bars I only went to 2 gay bars while I was there; Afrodisia and Bar Chiquita. They have quite a different vibe from each other, the former for classy-bougie ish while the latter is pretty much your normal bar/club type. I personally prefer Bar Chiquita and went there a couple of times. Boys There are plenty of guys on Grindr. Quite of them around Poblado are for pay but I didn't engage with any of them as there are plenty of keen guys not looking for payment. I've met a few guys on other apps too (Bumble, Tinder). I do have to highlight that there are plenty of hot guys around, both locals and expats 🤣. I can see why some prefer coming here frequently. Cam Models Prior to coming here, I've been in contact with a few cam models in anticipation of meeting them. However, I only ended up meeting one model. Sweet guy who doesn't speak English. But with that kind of rock solid body, not much talking is required 🤣. The main problem I have with most models is how they change their mind and increased their rates the moment I actually reached Medellin. (One of them wanted to charge USD 1k ! 😅) Given the available options on Grindr (and most being either free or charge a much more reasonable rate), I just didn't bother anymore. Funny thing though is that when I stopped entertaining some of them with their request, they started messaging again offering lower rates. Oh well 🤷 Anyway, that is basically my experience. I will definitely return again and hopefully go into a bit more of an adventure with the guys there.

  8. There's plenty of replies in this thread that answer these queries. But in short (and I travel to Egypt for business frequently) * In large Western hotels, guests are no problem. Basically, as a white Western male, you're not questioned much; assuming you fit in that category, have at it. But, obviously, be discreet - no handholding, don't have a stream of different men coming to your room at all hours. Smaller, cheaper, local hotels - it might be a bit different, but I suspect they wouldn't care. I did stay in a cheap Egyptian hotel in Dahab with two Egyptian men once - in one room for the three of us, with two beds. Nobody batted an eyelid, or if they did, it was in Arabic and not directed at me. * if you opt for an apartment, i.e. an Airbnb, be aware doormen can be nosey. I tend to give them LE200 when I arrive, after that they can't do enough for me, and they never question me when I bring a guest to the apartment. * Grindr comes with a big ugly warning message about police targeting Grindr users. In truth, they do, but equally, they leave tourists alone. Having a genuine photo on your account will make you stand out and will mean you will be bombarded with offers; a lot of them a flakes and guys you won't fancy, in which case, just block them. I have never been approached by a policeman; equally I have never had any danger chatting with or meeting someone on Grindr. The only thing that happened once was that I was catfished by a guy who, when he turned up, looked absolutely nothing like his photos: much older, awful teeth, way out of shape. He almost cried he was so desperate for sex; to his credit he did confess to me that he uses a fake photo to meet guys because otherwise nobody meets him. But he was so deeply unattractive, I was repulsed. I was kind to him, but nevertheless I kicked him out and told him he will never meet anyone if he continues to catfish. But, my point is: you will get a lot of attention on Grindr and will meet some men. Of the apps I use (Grindr, Scruff, Growlr), Grindr is by far the most successful. Locals never have real face pics on their profile, and, when sending phots, they make use of the disappearing images; frequently they will start conversions with a stream of disappearing messages followed by their stats. False names are common. As you chat with them they will ask to move to a different platform (WhatsApp, Insta, etc) to continue chatting fairly quickly. * it is also fairly easy to cruise/be cruised in public; I have done it, but I personally find using Grindr from the comfort of my apartment much easier. * I have been to a Hammam in Cairo with a gay Egyptian friend, but there was no cruising. The one I attended was in suburban Cairo and was clean, if basic. This particular one had separate men-only and women-only days. The attendants were strictly business-only. There are spas in the 5* hotels that are much nicer but also significantly more expensive; I have been approached by attendants for sexual favours there, I didn't fancy them so nothing happened. * I have not been to nightclubs in Cairo; a couple of bars, but that is all. Again, I was with local Egyptian friends, so I wasn't cruising. Booze is terrible in Cairo: sprits are local jet fuel, wine is universally awful South African rubbish; beer is watered down.

  9. From CNN Travel The train click-clacks along at a steady rhythm, passing through various shades of green. Lush rice fields morph into dense forests, while rivers glisten in the morning sun. The verdant, tropical landscape is briefly interrupted by colorful sparks of life in the form of towns and villages, where people are going about their morning routine — street vendors serving breakfast to commuters, women carrying fresh produce back from the market and kids gathering in their red and white school uniforms. This is the view from the Argo Wilis Panoramic, a bright and airy carriage on the Argo Wilis train. Running between the cities of Surabaya in East Java and Bandung in West Java, it’s one of the most scenic and underrated train journeys in all of Southeast Asia. For some context, Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, home to over 17,000 islands. While boats and planes are typically the main way to travel between each island, on Java, trains are by far the best choice. Stretching 1,064 kilometers from east to west and home to well over half of Indonesia’s population — that’s a whopping 275 million people — it makes sense that the rail network is so extensive and well-used. Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is the country’s national rail company. While there are limited train networks on the islands of Sumatra and Sulawesi, the large majority of them are based in Java, linking all the major cities including Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Solo and Surabaya. Most of this network was constructed during the Dutch colonial era, which lasted some 350 years. Each train has its own name with its own meaning. “For example, the Argo Wilis is named after a non-active volcano in East Java,” explains a railway guard. “There are other trains named after volcanoes too, as well as historic places and Javanese myths and legends.” Continues at https://edition.cnn.com/travel/indonesia-argo-wilis-panoramic-train-intl-hnk/index.html

    Egypt update

Yesterday, another nice meeting here in Cairo in the hotel elevator! Saudi attractive gentleman in his sixties. A smile, smalltalk and a touch on the crotch. He asked if iI was traveling with my family and I responded that I am alone in my room. Two minutes later in my room, I was tasting a very nice and thick Arab cock in more than one way. I love these married Arab men being so horny and performing so well!

  20. Just for your information, inflation has been a big problem in Europe and in other parts of the world during the last years after Covid. It has not been an American problem only but a global issue. I believe that in the US, people do not really look what is happening around the world but are only caring about what is happening at home.

    Well done USA electors!

Previously, when trump won the presidential race but lose the popular vote, everyone questioned the electoral vote system. This time around, he won both. Cant blame the system now for Harris' lost. Its clear that majority of Americans who voted, didnt vote for her. Instead, democracy system itself becomes the target. If majority of the citizens/voters, are criminal, they will vote the most evil to the top, and vice versa. And not to forget, the options the americans are left with, to choose lesser between two evils one might say. For some, who already made their mind, the choice might be obvious, but if you are on the fence, its a sophie's choice at its greatest. All im saying is, when the results are out, its better to look forward and analysed what really happened. For me, its clear that the republicans, with trump as the lead, are more successful in convincing those who are on the fence, to vote for them. Democrats played their women card one too many, and lived in their own bubble too, failing to even see the possibilities of a huge losses in several key states, convinced that no voters in their right mind will vote for trump. But well, they did. Another group that one might want to analyze are the new voters, those who were below 21 during last elections. These are the young ones, mostly university students, who are seen protesting the current government on their frivolous defence spending in middle east tension. While republican might still do the same, as we have seen in the past, both sides has been quite consistent who they ally with, the fact that the worst yet war there happened during Democrats watch definitely affects their vote.

  24. To our foreign friends, I think most of us are trying to understand it too. The only explanation is that most americans are selfish idiots with no understanding of economics who somehow believe when an orange idiot tells him he will save them from a failing economy (the economy is great actually), they believe him. It is the fatal flaw of democracy. If you let every idiot vote, they will. But fear not, they won't need to bother voting soon enough... As a rich white guy, I'm going to be fine, but I weep for the shithole my country has become. Those morons think America is great. They are wrong.

  25. Me, too. I'm wondering if there is another example of a candidate convicted of rape and fraud being allowed to stand for office in a democratic country. If you apply for a government job in the U.S. don't you have to declare your criminal record? If so, does Trump's election mean that this is no longer a requirement? How can a president who is a convicted criminal run the justice system? And how can the Supreme Court be biased in favour of a political party? How can someone who has been bankrupt at least 6 times run the economy? How can the military brass salute a commander in chief who is a criminal and who has never served in the armed forces? How can any self-respecting woman vote for a man who boasts about grabbing women by the pussy? That woman could well be their own daughter. Would they be willing to allow her to be alone in a room with Trump? The list goes on. All I can say is, my image of the U.S. as a beacon of democracy has changed completely. It is no longer the country I knew and respected as I was growing up.

  28. In addition to what @reader posted above about Cambodia and The Philippines - we can add Malaysia to this growing list. Aaron from Offshore in Asia just posted a significant update to the Malaysian tax scheme - in that Malaysia will extend the tax exemption on foreign sourced income until year 2036 - another 12 years. This is completely OPPOSITE to what the current Thai government just did effective 01-Jan-2024. So, it sounds that Thailand's neighboring countries want to take advantage of Thailand's negative tax treatment to its existing expat retiree population. Maybe the current Thai government may wake up ? The silence is deafening.

They represent some of his earliest forays into political commentary, as Hegseth highlighted aspects of campus life that evidently turned him into a conservative firebrand. In pieces for the Tory, Hegseth and the team he oversaw railed against efforts to promote diversity on campus and what they described as the immoral “homosexual lifestyle.” Hegseth also cheered the Iraq War, wondered whether Princeton was too laudatory of Martin Luther King Jr., and advocated for children receiving “strong discipline” from their parents “in the form of spankings, moving next to soap-in-the-mouth.”

  32. From Fintech News The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has launched the Bakong Tourists app in collaboration with Mastercard at a ceremony in Phnom Penh. The app simplifies digital payments for international tourists visiting Cambodia. Tourists can download the app upon arrival and seamlessly top up their Bakong accounts using their Mastercard issued in their home countries. This allows them to scan KHQR codes and pay at over 3.3 million merchants across Cambodia, a major advantage in a country where only 60,000 POS machines accept card payments. The app is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

  44. If you enjoyed Barcode then you'll probably really enjoy the drag show at Blue Chili in Phnom Penh. They moved to a bigger location and is more like a club now but the drag show is excellent. The only downside is that, like Barcode, it attracts a lot of straights and women. Spacehair Bar had a lot of nice eye candy but, alas, all were straight gym bunnies. But still is an enjoyable place. The new Toolbox pub was fun. A nice mix of twinks and cute gym-fit guys - all gay apparently. Also quite a few freelancers hang around there. Best of all - no women anywhere unlike the other bars in PP. The Phnom Penh version of DJ Station is called Heart of Darkness. Go after midnight on Friday or Saturday night and it will be packed with cute gay guys. Quiet any other time. Just don't drink the alcohol. Lots of nice boy massages in the Russian Market area. Chanak, Boran, Ah Ram, Aroma, Ganesh. All within a ten minute walk from each other. All have nice facilities like aircon and toilet/shower in each room. The boys are all behind glass wearing a number, like the gogos in Bangkok. Pick the boy and away you go. Going rate is $10 for an oil massage. Expected tip is in the $20 to $30 range. Enjoy PP. I certainly did.

  45. I agree 200% with you @floridarob. 98% of my meetings with the guys are in my room: - don't need to worry about the massage shop bed and who was in it before me and if they left any skanky things like bugs or lice on that massage bed, - don't need to worry about the status of the always wet massage shop shower and what might be lurking in that mold. Also, I don't need to worry about what is happening to my valuables while I am taking a shower, - ambiance , I can control the climate, temperature, music, lighting, pre-massage warmup beveracge + chit chat, post massage cool down time + beverage + snack + small talk. So, the "home court advantage" has so many benefits. 👍🤩

I am traveling regularly to Egypt for business. I am lucky since I am a fan of middle east men. Wherever you go in Cairo, there are so many men flirting with you, but so difficult to make closer contact. But there is a great place to connect with arab men and get a happy ending! The elevator in 5 star hotels! I have met so many men from Saudi Arabia,Kuwait, Sudan, Oman etc in the elevators The first question is always ¨where are you from¨? Then they touch the crotch, you smile and two minutes later they are making you happy in your room... Great experiences!
