Just starting the thread now and will keep updating as I go. So on to Plan B this trip. Thai airways didn't let me down as the plane from Perth was late (as always it seems) but the crew, service, food and entertainment were all very good. On arrival (about 10:40pm) and after the long trek to immigration I was shown straight to the priority counter, I flew business class and as soon as they saw that I was escorted to priority and took all of 5 minutes to clear. Rest of immigration didn't look too crowded and maybe would have only taken 20 minutes or so to get through. I still hate that finger print rubbish though, just a thumb print would suffice but hey this is Thailand. Caught a taxi from down stairs, no hassles whatsoever, told him which hotel and he got it up on his mobile phone / maps app. Didn't try to rip me off and he made good time to the hotel so gave him a tip on top of the fare. Booked into Ibis Styles, got to the room and after a quick shower I crapped out for the night, took about 2 minutes to hit sleep mode. As stated before the rooms are small and in my view lacking some minor things (like wardrobe / cupboard etc) but still pretty good and comfortable, thinking next trip will be back at Tarntawan. Breakfast starts 6am but there was a fair crowd of Europeans in there, had a feeling they were in a tour group and getting an early start as there are 2 big busses outside. Hit Foodland to stock up the room. Plan for the rest of the day See if I can get my old Rabbit card reactivated and squeeze in a bit more shopping, this afternoon will be Senso for a 2 hour relaxing massage with extras. The rest will be fairly mundane stuff but also looking at plans for next couple of days. To be continued.....6 points

I’m admittedly biased because I know many of the boys here, but I walked Soi 6 this afternoon and I’m persuaded that Natural Massage line up is tough to beat. Mostly guys from Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, and you’ll find most of them sitting outside shop. The new Chillax bar remains a work in progress. Reports are that shops are getting noticeably busier the past week.5 points

Thare was no plan at all this time but sad circumstance. My best friend died and I decided I owe to him and his family to attend his funeral. Since it was half way between my home and Thailand and I spotted cheap flight to bkk I resolved to buy it and worry about using it week later, after funeral. Which exactly happened and glad I did as it helped me to place me back on track.5 points

I was looking for a post office and found it in sub soi off Surawong, directly opposite Meridien Hotel. There’s a machine just inside door to get a number receipt for service. On left is refreshment stand that also sells standardized shipping envelopes at very reason cost. Woman was very helpful in finding me a “C4”.3 points

From Fintech News The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has launched the Bakong Tourists app in collaboration with Mastercard at a ceremony in Phnom Penh. The app simplifies digital payments for international tourists visiting Cambodia. Tourists can download the app upon arrival and seamlessly top up their Bakong accounts using their Mastercard issued in their home countries. This allows them to scan KHQR codes and pay at over 3.3 million merchants across Cambodia, a major advantage in a country where only 60,000 POS machines accept card payments. The app is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.3 points

Enjoy your stay! The Vietnamese boys at Senso tend to be good. Papasan at Senso will try to influence your choice and pick for you, but try to stick with your gut feeling and pick the boy that smiles back to you.3 points -
I stopped by bar at 12:40 a.m. Boy who I met first night bar opened sat with me and I brought him at beer.). He filled me in on some details. - all boys who work there from Myanmar - boss is from US - Four boys dance on bar (shirtless) at following times: 9 to 9:30 10 to 10:30 11 to 11:30 1 to 1:30 I watched few minutes of dancing and tipped boy who had sat with me who was now dancing. His English is very good. He studied physics in uni. Other guys also spoke good English.3 points

We have a different situation in UK. Brexit fans said that all these foreigners were taking jobs from the English. Take back our jobs, etc. Guess what, after Brexit, none of the English people would do the unskilled, low paid nasty jobs. What a surprise.3 points -

Leaving today. No line at EVA business class checkin. Priority Lane, open, almost empty, noticed that staff were turning away those not entitled! No line through security. And, guess what, row of machines, all working, to scan passport! Worked a treat. I noticed there were also rows of machines for passports in economy section, and no line. I was very impressed. I was in lounge 65mins after leaving hotel!2 points -

As a foreigner, I have too many questions. 1st, how can a criminal be allowed to run for president? It is so unimaginable to me. 2nd, how people vote for a criminal, rather than Kamala, a well-qualified politician. I am just so mind-blown.2 points -

So you're looking for a Top, lol Grinder still seems the best app, in my experience but doesn't hurt to pop up on them all, marketing 101 😉 I'll be there the end of this month... I'll stay at the Primera Seminyak, former Ibis hotel, tiny rooms buy tiny rates as well and walking distance to the bars, beach and no problems with guests and there is parking for their motorbikes too. Then at the end part of my stay, I move to the Conrad, away from the gay scene but hopefully have made contacts with someone to come to to be with me to enjoy the incredible resort. Last trip someone from Jakarta stayed with me, was fun....as he was a bit freaky in sex, only thing I like about Muslim religion, being so closeted makes them so horny, lol2 points -

Few observations from my 3 days here XONE, popular money exchange on Suriwong past Tawan is opened on Sundays. As result I guess Sunday rates in other booths in the area were very reasonable. In the past they used to drop to rebound on Mondays Barber in soi Wat Hualampong posts price 300 for haircut, in such obscure location. No wonder tips requested went up, if only to be in sync with other services. BARS: so far chalked off 4 of them Hot Male, Saturday around 10. Pm., few customers, less than 10. One of them sitting with guy I wanted to take but allowed him to come and shake hands with me, drink 500. I gulped it , smiled at boys on the stage and went to Jupiter, arrived just in time for show to start. House full downstairs but empty upstairs. All usually, great selection, disinterested looks which changes to smile when one buys them a drink or even meets them randomly on the street. Show sexy. I tipped guy I'm interested in red note from during 1st walkabout, disappointingly during 2nd walkabout not even look at me. Normally I would cross him out but is recommended by one of my most trusted friends here so still may be tempted if I have enough time (and money), drink 500 Moonlight on Sunday,3/4 packed, few girls but behaving. A lot of guys, about 1/3 kind of personally known, some very well known. There is new show. I liked previous one better but who cares. Boys are great looking. Only 5 models that night Babe, Nicky, Boss, Tum and Tiger, heavily tattooed but in my oppinion most attractive of them, by far. Drink 500 Monday: Dreamboys, quite packed at 10.40. Several cocks in full view during show, mixture of debauchery and lip sycyng. I like Jupiter show the best out those 3 I saw this trip but that's me. Music too loud. Drink 500, boy drink 400, off fee 550. I wonder how the hell I know that price? You guessed correctly.2 points

I dont think we can call Barcode a gay bar anymore. The customers are now 50 to 70% female depending on the night. Straight women who seem to get thrilled to be in a "gay" bar. They must think it's the utmost fashion 😉 Or maybe it's just the show.2 points

FloridaRob, be sure to drop into GOD which is across the street from Rendezvous. A lot smaller than Barcode but bigger than Rendezvous. Owned by a young Khmer guy who has a lot of cute friends that hang around there. They sometimes put on cheesy drag shows. I always enjoy Home Cocktail but I only drink the beer there. All the spirits are cheap fakes and you will get a very nasty hangover the next day. Same with all the street bars: nasty, cheap hooch. There is a reason they can sell their cocktails for only $2.50. Some food recommendations: Olive for fine French dining at a very reasonable price, Red Piano for great ribs, Elias for Greek food, Jungle Burger for, well, burgers.2 points

I was watching Fareed Zakaria on CNN Sunday morning and was impressed with his full Opening monologue and his quote of some interesting statistics in the opening segment. I think he hit the nail on the head with his comments as to WHY? Below is the unedited link to the first 10-11 minutes of his show. It is worth a watch if you got 10 minutes:1 point -

Bottom Boys vs Tops in Bogota and Medellin
floridarob reacted to macdaddi for a topic
2. You would be remiss to not spend time in Medellín given the proximity to the capital. but as noted you will find plenty of bottoms in both places. Medellín has become a major center for video webcamming with multiple studios around the city. and with very high youth unemployment in the country, many young men relocate just to do this type of work. For the vast majority of them it is a job, not a lifestyle. 3. The aforementioned "Dan" post, which I have not commented on until now, was the only post from that particular member. These wild jacuzzi parties with multiple webcam boys sound fantastic, except there is zero proof that these ever happened. Do these types of events occur in Medellín? Absolutely. But you will need to have more than a passing acquaintance with the city and its people before you will uncover those types of opportunities. There are several boy wranglers in the city that could make this happen, but that requires connections that were simply missing in the original post. Good luck with your planning -- hope you find exactly what you are hoping for in Colombia.1 point -

I have also noticed an increase of our guys that we seek via the apps are now offering not only companionship in the bed, but also items for sale to stock up our bathroom medicine cabinets (poppers, PDE5 inhibitors like sidegra + cialis, and other paraphernalia). Within the Hornet app they even may have one of their profile photos or feed photos). Very entrepreneurial of them. 🤑1 point -

Trust me you will find plenty of btm guys in Bgta. Don’t overthink this. Actually many of the prof escorts are vers. it will be very easy to spot in Grindr if the guy is for pay. Or they will soon leet you know in the chat. Barging hard. Asking price can easily be 200-300 mil COP but most will accept lower.1 point -
Not saying its a problem hehe. He does have a very sizeable asset too. Perfect for size queen. My type are usually on the older side too. Mostly because i like muscular built manly guys, and those type tends to be older.1 point

Having visited the bar twice, I, too, am puzzled by the owner’s aspiration. On my first visit, all three waiters came to table to inquire if I wanted company. On second visit, sat at bar but was generally ignored. Compared to the three other gay-oriented bars on Patpong 2 (the two HM bars and the one under Fresh Boys with pool table), they all have very friendly staff who speak English and are offable. Dragon an Koi doesn’t appear to be operating with same agenda. And if that’s the case, it’s main competition is the Crown Royal across the soi.1 point

I read an article in Saturday’s Sydney Morning Herald which quoted an immigration research organisation as stating that to deport all undocumented immigrants from the United States as promised by Trump would cost upwards of $US315 billion. His argument is that you can’t put a cost on such an “important “ policy. The cost, the practicalities, the drain on the labour market, humanitarian considerations are all factors that will come home to roost.1 point -

Ah very true Guys who are uncut need to wash their cocks after urinating which obviously is difficult if your using a public restroom. Last week I was In my workplace toilet ,I thought I was the only member of staff working the sunday shift , I peed then walked to the sinks ,and picked one of the lower hand wash sinks where I stood on my tippy toes pushing my penis forwards to wash under the running water of the handbasin faucet In walks a contract cleaner young Nepalese guy ,he looked shocked but kept walking 😁past me 😳😳with a shocked look ! The only thing I could do after putting my Cock under the sink tap was immediately put it back in my pants because this restroom only had hand dryers which I had planned to stand on tippy toes again and dry it but unfortunately the cleaners walks in unexpectedly so j had to put it back in wet 💧💦🐳1 point
