From The Nation The Transport Ministry has unveiled the schedule of tourism trains from October to February, aiming to boost domestic tourism and generate income for local communities. Three types of train will embark on sight-seeing routes over the next five months, said minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit on Monday. The Royal Blossom offers the highest level of luxury and comfort, featuring air-conditioned cabins with 180-degree views to appreciate the scenery. A one-day trip costs 1,799 baht per person and includes meals, drinks, tour guide service, shuttle bus fee, and accident insurance. The Kiha 183 is for travellers who prefer classic rail adventure, offering both daytrips (1,499 baht) and overnight stays (3,999 baht) to destinations further away from Bangkok. The ticket price includes meals, drinks, tour guide service, shuttle bus fee, room fees, and accident insurance. The World War II-era steam locomotive offers trips to two historical provinces on special occasions, namely Ayutthaya on Chulalongkorn Memorial Day (October 23), and Chachoengsao on Father’s Day (December 5). From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Cambodia’s neighbors, including Thailand, are concerned about the rapid rise of Chinese sea power and its possible use of the Ream naval base only a few hundred km south of the Thai naval port of Sattahip. The fear is that China is expanding its military footprint beyond the seizure of several disputed islands in the South China Sea which have already been fortified. But neither Thailand nor Vietnam are saying much publicly to avoid disrupting vital trade relationships with China and, separately, because there’s nothing they can do anyway. Surveillance photos show that the Ream harbor has a new pier, a new dry dock, warehouses, living quarters and four basketball courts. Dredging is continuing though it’s unclear how deep it will go to admit the largest ships. The official Cambodian position is that the dock is not yet finished. When it is, ships from other “friendly” nations (not just China) will be able to use the facilities. Cambodian deputy prime minister Sun Chanthol said the port was very small at 0.3 km and used only for training to prepare for the upcoming Golden Dragan exercises. Moreover, the Chinese presence in Ream is not permanent so does not count as a base. Mr Sun added that many US vessels are too big and might “get stuck”. Others are not so sure. A foothold at Ream would give China better control over the South China Sea, 90 percent of which it claims to own in spite of an international court ruling against Beijing. The Seam port’s pier is almost identical to the 363 meter-long construction at the Chinese base in Djibouti in east Africa and long enough to accommodate a Chinese largest aircraft carrier. Agree about the need for unified response. The most likely ignition point is probably the Philippines. Interesting. I was surprised to learn that most of Algeria has only a Level 2 Travel Advisory, like most of Europe. And two for me. So I kept extra key in my wallet just in case. tomorrow I leave in the afternoon, it was suggested I simply use grab. While I do like drag shows there was not enough performances featuring the boys. The show ended around 10:40 which was quite long. During the show lots of people peaked inside but didn’t stay. By the end of the show there was around 12-13 customers, The boys went into stage. Only around 8 boys in total. They are mostly shirtless wearing black pants. The boys here are less twinky than the other bars I attended. They are attractive. However only one guy caught my attention but he seemed uninterested in being on stage, no one wants a dead fish. The atmosphere is good here. You are far enough away from the stage to observe but not feel like you are on top of the guys. The stage is well lit but the customer seating area is not bright. I decided to pay my fee. I tipped the lady boy who answered my questions and thanked her for her time and left. i decided to head back to dreamboys and check it out. Outside the promoters called out to me. I said what time is next show and they told me now, now. I went inside and was led to a seat on the front but asked to change to the upper seat on the side. Dreamboys was packed with customers I say a good 20-25 90% Asian tourists and 10% Caucasian. The show was some erotic dancing with the boys. A drag queen came on next. After there was a cock show, some sucking and simulated sex. A lot more variety than banana room. I didn’t check price but I believe drink here was 500 baht, boy drink was 400. After the show boys went on stage, they had a lot. Over 20. They are dressed in skimpy white shirts some wearing white tank tops but most shirtless. One guy number 77 had huge bulge in his shorts. The papasan came over to me to ask which I liked. I told them I still deciding and I felt no pressure just assistance. I saw another guy looking at me and he was cute. next show started and I forgot the numbes of the boys I was interested in. I watched show which was a bit different, however when the boys are “backup dancing” they all do this slow motion running in place move which looks a bit awkward . When the show was over boys went back on stage I narrowed down the numbers to two. I asked one of the papasans if he between the two numbers he knew which one spoke better English, he told me so I picked that boy to buy drink, he came over asked me the same questions “where you from” “how long you here” I asked him his position. He told me “I gay, I do everything” it’s funny here gay means top and bottom or just bottom. Straight is just top. We discussed his off fee he told me rate for short time and long time. I was thinking because he was a little more expensive than boys I brought back from fresh boys however I gave them extra which equaled this amount, while I was thinking he asked me “I go get dressed?” I said sure, we took taxi back to hotel, which he said he has been to many times. Back in the room he showered while I got the room ready. Then I showered. We had fun. He was just as engaged as I was and wanted to ensure I was having good time as well. after we showered together and sat on couch to talk a bit which was nice, he told me he has been working at Dreamboys since Covid restrictions ended, I saw a lot of people asking if Dreamboys where Thai only so I asked him, he told me mostly Thai but now they are hiring more from different countries and have a few already. He traded his WhatsApp asked me if I wanted to do anything in afternoon before clubs open to message him. He showed me some pictures of other boys in the club who he likes to work with, was a fun experience, it was raining so I tipped him some extra so he could take taxi. He left. Later I ordered some food and went downstairs to get it where I saw him still sitting in lobby. I asked him if everything is alright he told me he is waiting for rain to stop because he has motorbike. I asked if he wanted to come upstairs and wait and share some food but he said he is fine and wants to wait. I wished him goodnight. dreamboys was one of the bigger clubs I’ve been to. They have two entrances and a huge stage. I would definitely return. not sure if I will visit moonlight, I don’t know if I like the idea of the higher off fees. I may visit banana room again on the weekend hopefully there will be more guys on stage.

my observations are similar, part I did not like the most was mamasan inserting himself uninvited into discussion about off and tip which ultimately ended as very unsatisfactory and poor value for the money for me . I agree that goys there are still friendly but bar after re-opening seems to lose direction of what it wants to be. Constant asking for tips after each number in the show will make it once-per-trip bar for me if they don't mitigate their ways.

Don't overlook an early evening walk through Lumpinee Park when sun is no longer beating down. Although it's nearby for most visitors, it's frequently ignored.

That is a huge NO NO NO. You violated their privacy. This is quite elemental, and at least one friend pointed it out to you, without getting any response. Last time I checked, the face photos were still there. You may not be paying attention, or you may not care about such a serious violation. Soon after that very questionable behavior, you open this thread making jokes that, depending on the context, would be not funny at all. It is true, sometimes we all make those jokes in private, among friends who know well each other. This is a public forum, you do not know who is reading you. Joking about being abused may not be comedy for some friends here. On one hand, I am glad to have a new poster sharing actual experiences. On the other hand, I am troubled that the previously shared concerns may have some degree of truth. I hope your intentions are good and you are willing to learn and respect the basic etiquete. Would you please go back to your previous posts and erase the face pictures? Or ask @TotallyOz to erase them, if your time for editing is over? Most of the guys there have a big belly. Dont undrstnd why. Its the only place with dark skinned men that has this (for me - unappealing) attribute.
