So...went to 1097 tonight, sat at a table with locals and was sort of comical how I knew more about Brasil saunas than they did, lol. The advice I took from them though was the going rates here is 70-100 MAX I ended up wanting to go with 4 guys, not all at once but was a very difficult decision between which one. Having read a lot of interesting trip reports and learned a lot from these as well as from interesting questions and answers, I thought I might try my hand at a (not very detailed ‘cause its a year ago almost) trip report from Malaysia. I was there in November of 2023, entered the Country by train from Singapore, stayed one night in Johor Bahru, two nights in KL and four nights in Georgetown. From there I traveled overland to Chumphon, Thailand, and got on a boat to Koh Tao, but that’s a different story… Johor Baru was an interesting, but unnecessary stop. I booked a night there because I wasn't sure how regular I could expect the border trains from Singapore to be or how smooth the border crossing would be. Very regular, very smooth turned out to be the case, so that left me a good half day, an evening, and a night to enjoy Johor Bahru before catching a train to KL the next day. JB is not exactly a picturesque city and not very walkable, but you are probably not here for the family friendly version of my trip with sightseeing and good food, so I will leave those details for Instagram and go on to the topics of interest to this community; boys and men. Malaysia has three very distinct population groups, Malay, Chinese and Indian, so both food- and hook-up wise there are a lot of flavors to sample. I don’t have a specific type and like guys in their 20s, 30s and sometimes 40s (so many men, so little time!). I must say however, that I found Malay Malaysian exceptionally beautiful. Sadly it was mostly sampling because the maze was haunted by a little old man and his flashlight. I don’t know if his job was to clean or to make sure the hanky panky didnt get out of hand, but he did a great job at both. After a couple of hours of a lot of close close encounters interrupted by the infinite loop of flashlight man, I decided I had had enough appetizers and went back to the city center for dinner and another look at Grindr. Among others I chatted with an early 20s Malay man, we met for a drink and a chat and went to my hotel where we had a really good time. I stayed at the Bello Hotel JB Central and there was no issue bringing my date to my room. Maybe because I had booked for two, or they didn’t care, or my assumption that the receptionist played on our team was correct. I hope my sample of Malaysia is of interest to the forums and plan to make a report on KL and Georgetown in the near future.

Personally I liked the two saunas.... one was pretty rundown and the guys tend to be on the rough side, but that's what I like. When I stumbled across these forums, I was shocked that people openly and unashamedly recount their experiences and recommendations for the sinister practice of sex tourism. So I don’t even bother with dance clubs when I visit Rio these days. São Paulo has many more options for nightlife, although frankly I haven’t tried any of the SP dance clubs because I’m always too busy enjoying the REAL reason for my trip. Safety: I use Uber instead of taxis. I never use street trade. The AirBnBs that I choose all have a doorman. A couple of times I made GPs send me (via WhatsApp) a copy of the ID that they would be showing to the doorman. I walk a lot while in Brazil but rare venture beyond Ipanema/Copacabana or Consolação/Jardins. While there, my clothes are never flashy; just basic shorts, tank top and sandals. No jewelry or watch. No phone in hand. No camera. When going to the beach, instead of wearing speedos I wear a swimsuit with a pocket and only take sunscreen, a book and enough money to rent a lounge and umbrella (and to buy a couple of drinks), but leave my cards, cash and phone in the AirBnB. Fortunately (knocking on wood as I type this) I personally haven’t had any physical safety issues (but do not know people who were not being cautious and were mugged or robbed at gunpoint). Gyms: Relatively inexpensive day passes are available at most conventional gyms. As you might imagine, the eye candy is there incredible. I never hooked up directly from the gym but did hook up on Grindr with someone who went to my gym. Rio vs SP: When I’m more in the mood for the beach and relaxing (with sex as an added bonus), definitely Rio. When I’m more in the mood for sex, definitely SP. If you’re mostly a fan of online GPs, note that many of them do travel circuits throughout Brazil. So don’t plan on going to a certain city just for one particular GP, since it is highly possible that he may have moved on to his next destination when you arrive. Thanks for the report. I think many people underestimate KL, but it is quite an interesting city. It is like a fusion of all of Asia. There are Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos, Chinese, and whoever else. The boys are very active in Grindr and in addition to good massages you can always find someone to spend time with.

But this site doesn't show all available trains, in fact there are more. If you didn't find a suitable option there then you can buy it at the ticket office in advance 1-2 days before departure. Just wanted to note that @Latbear4blk is correct, dulces refers to drugs, but in Medellín it quite specifically is used to refer to cocaine or tusi, a pink mixture of several stimulants that is very popular in the club scene. Not all massage parlors are created equal: Booking or not: Parlors along Silom area tend to operate on walk-ins (VCK Club, Arena massage) while Saphan Khwai operate on booking basis (KMAN, Phetboy, One, etc). You must have LINE on your phone and add individual massage parlors on LINE to make prior booking. From what I gather, the booking need not to be made too far in advance - a day or two before is probably sufficient Tipping: It is important to understand what is the minimum tips required for each shop. Whereas the massage parlor state a minimum tip of 1000 baht+ - this signals that some sex is included - if you are not sure and want to have an exact activity in mind, be sure to ask in advance. The common courtesy here is to tip above minimum (up to 50%+) if service received is good. General thai massage parlor: Some stores along Silom are just a general massage place (like Green Massage by way of example). Here there will be a negotiation with the masseur if you want additional service and what that entails Not all massage parlors have “happy ending”. For instance, Prime Massage is known for their quality massage and unlikely you’ll have happy ending here. Some men-oriented massage is targeted at high end of the market and will not have sex involved (e.g. Prestige massage, MSense Massage) comes to mind There are tons of massage shops out there - some are geared toward tourist with tried and true business model (VCK, Prince, Ssense, Gannymede, Arena) while some are geared toward local (KMan, Aura, One, etc). There are stores further out too that are just not in tourist area (Taywa, Master Gallery, etc). VCK club is likely the most famous shop among foreigners - I’ve heard that the service in this store has gone down with it being too mechanical. You’ll likely be in and out well below the time purchased If receiving masseur photos in advance, be cautioned that the photo has been enhanced in post-edit - just to keep expectations realistic. The profile of the masseur will often indicate HEIGHT/WEIGHT/ Orientation (Gay/Straight/Bisexual) / Tool size. Generally have cash ready for tips and to purchase the massage. Do not bring valuables or too much cash. Gogo Bar (The One, Dreamboy, Moonlight, etc) GoGo bar is another way (beside Massage parlor) that enable you to have an ‘encounter’. Each bar has its own forte and the reports by various forum members here describe the type of performers are there. Sometimes you can also check out their TikTok to see the lineup of guys there. There is typically en entrance fee (500 Baht+) that includes a drink The shows typically start late 10p+ During the show, you will have an opportunity to interact with ‘mamasan’ or ‘papasan’ to see which boy you are interested to take with you at the end of the night The best practice here it seems is to have a quick chat with the boy first (with mamasan/papasan help, or just wave at him). If you have a chat with the performer, then you need to buy him a drink and maybe a small tip like 100 baht (if you dont end up taking him) During the negotiation, the best practice is to ask how much is his service be depending on your preference (Short time - couple of hours, or Long time - until next day). This is to avoid surprise of tip amount at the end. If you absolutely need certain activity to be carried out, it also does not hurt to ask now I believe the rate for ST here is about 1500baht-2000baht whereas long term can be as much as 3000-3500baht. You will also need to pay a bar fine 500baht typically when you take the boy away If the boy end up leaving earlier than anticipated, you adjust the tip accordingly (advice per forum member here) Based on my guestimation, the time you will be able to take the boy off with you is likely well past midnight - therefore this method is less than ideal to those who tend to like to sleep earlier Apps (Grindr/Hornet/JackD/etc) App is a very common way to find ‘encounter’. Of course, this is probably one of the more uncharted territory that comes with its own risk and reward. It is important to state your boundary if you have any (Such as no drugs, no alcohol, etc). Pay attention to emoji / description of the profile If you encounter money boy, looks like the rate is similar to the rate quoted above for Gogo Boy I heard some hotels as safety measures are more strict with guests and that you may have to register him. I think that’s totally cool and add layer of protection Sauna / Baththouse Some famous sauna in Bangkok comes to mind like Krubb, Sauna Mania, R3, etc. These saunas involve an entry fee (500baht?) and has the typical feature of a gay baththouse: change room, dark room, shower, onsen, sauna, movie room, lounge area, etc You can see in advance which day the sauna may have a ‘special peformance’ that night which may involve some group activity which you may participate / just see As with any visit to any gay bathhouse, it is 100% YMMV (Your Mileage may vary). However, if you go in with the expectation just to experience it - especially during night of performance - that on its own can be rewarding to some extent Safety / STD: This need not to be said that you need to pay attention to it. Best practice for STD prevention should be top of mind. At the end of the day, just as with any trip, you may have good experience on certain days and encounter hiccup on another - so don’t worry. Colombian law that anyone even visiting is supposed to register with your hotel/airbnb. Just like in Thailand, I prefer the safety that they know who is in your room in case anything goes south, guys are less likely to act up because we know their real name, not a made up stage name. Not all airbnb's are liberal with guests, so ensure this before booking. Ask if guests are allowed, specify if overnight or visitors, they're not stupid, they will know what's up and tell you yes or no. Many have digital Cedulas, so see if this will be accepted. Just mention you are on Prep and see where it goes....I didn't have a problem mostly.

Correct. But my problem with the DR is not the prices. 99% of the stories I hear are about the place being a paradise for bottoms. I am not looking for tops and big dicks. Colombia and Brazil have me more than satisfied. The rest of the Dominican culture (beyond sex) seems nice, but it does not inspire my curiosity or desire to visit.

A security camera captured the moment that two men on a motorcycle showed up in the alley where he was waiting, grabbed his phone and shot him dead. The Nunes family, who shared details of the investigation with Reuters, said one suspect had been arrested. Sao Paulo police said they are investigating the shooting as a robbery resulting in a homicide, but did not provide further information or confirm if there had been an arrest. Nunes was one of at least five gay men killed since March 2024 after planning encounters through dating apps in Brazil, according to news reports. Dozens more victims have described on social media suffering armed robberies after being lured by fake profiles on gay dating apps. Police have also warned of "love cons" involving straight men lured into kidnappings, without providing figures.
