I was never offered sexual services in massage shop, I'm too impatient to wait for an offer and make move first.6 points

He was, of course, shocked...shocked. It was apparently well concealed secret. From The Thaiger The Minister of Public Health (MOPH) plans to clean up traditional Thai massage shops after 75% were found to secretly offer sex services. The Health Minister, Somsak Thepsutin, stated he aims to clean up the seedy side of the industry and promote Thai massage as a soft power. The President of the Charawi Association for the Preservation of Thai Massage, Phithak Yotha, urged the MOPH to investigate foreigners working illegally in Thailand’s wellness industry. He also requested the ministry simplify massage therapist registration and encourage Thai massage as a soft power. Minister Somsak agreed with Phithak’s suggestions, stating they align with the government’s measures to promote Thai massage. Somsak disclosed that the Department of Health Service Support will improve Thai massage therapists’ skills and certify those able to treat musculoskeletal issues as Grade A therapists. Massage service costs will also be standardised. Somsak then highlighted the illegal sex services secretly offered in some Thai traditional massage shops, which could negatively impact Thai massage. The minister stated that all massage parlours in Thailand must be free of sexual services. Somsak threatened to close down all shops secretly operating as brothels. He hopes to clean up all massage parlours within two months before the next fiscal year begins. The Director of the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Taweesin Visanuyothin, reported that only 25% of massage parlours in Thailand operate legally, while the remaining 75% illegally offer sexual services. Charawi Association President Phithak urged the MOPH to investigate those illegal massage shops, which can be found almost everywhere, especially in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit and Thong Lo areas. Phithak stated that some illegal parlours use the word “massage” to disguise prostitution, even when it was clear they only offer sexual services. He cited an example of a parlour advertising massage with promotional models known in Thailand as “Massage with Pretties.” In a related report, a massage shop in Chiang Mai was raided for illegally providing sex services. The shop was also found to be paying bribes to various government departments to cover up the illegal prostitution.5 points

My stay in Furama Sathorn includes breakfast for 2 and I usually will have breakfast with the guy im with. After our morning gymnastic, I mentioned about breakfast but J said he is not hungry, but will accompany me to see whats on the buffet. We went downstairs and true enough, he didnt feel like eating so we say our goodbye. After breakfast, i went back to hotel room for my much needed beauty sleep. Woke up around noonish, and thought that i should pay a visit to my fav massage place, Prime. At the counter, was told that slot available is at 1.30pm. since i have around 1.5hr before that, decided to go to Maha massage nearby for a session. A bit of backstory on maha massage. Someone recommended to me a masseur there, who would be my type. Yesterday night, when i was doing my first walk-around silom, i noticed a well built, smaller frame guy wearing a yellow shirt when passing prime on my way to Surawong side before heading to dreamboy. So, it was a no brainer for me when i saw him in front of maha massage, so i immediately go inside with him escorting me, taking a 90min session of full body oil massage. After paying the fee upfront at the counter, my masseur showed me the my room, two level up. The room is equipped with a massage bed but without the head hole, so it wasnt my preferred set up, but still better than massage on a thin mattress on the floor. There is also a small shower inside the room. I rinsed for a bit, and he went outside to prepare the oil. Later, i find out that he is in fact the same guy that was recommended to me after i learnt his name. Massage was a mix of strong and sensual, although he started fully clothed. He did hinted that he is available for hotel visit as well. Towards the end of the massage, he proposed extra service, i asked how much, he says his price, i counter and he agreed, and he changed to his birthday suit. I left very satisfied indeed and we ended on time. I headed to Prime for my customary legit massage session, 2 hour oil massage. Another well executed massage, and it was so relaxing that i almost dozed off a few times. As expected, nothing was offered. Now that my body as been fully pampered, time to pamper my tummy, so i head to mango tree for their pad thai, mango sticky rice and coconut juice. Delicious indeed. I head back to hotel for a rest before heading out for dinner and bar visits tonight.4 points

I will agree that Canadian customs and immigration can be among the most obnoxious on the planet. Do you have any idea why you've gotten such thorough inspections? Have you had similar issues in other countries?4 points

Absolutely! Last year, I was referred for secondary screening for the first time in my life coming home to Canada because I was away for six weeks and only had a small carry on suitcase. That was because on a previous trip to Barcelona I got dizzy going up two long staircases in a subway station with a regular carry on suitcase. I have some heart issues and decided to downsize my bag to the minimum. Fortunately it was a woman officer who went through my stuff, rather than a macho punk like the one who decided I was suspicious.3 points

I began with Fresh Boys again. My favourite groper from Laos rushed up and got started straight away. I wasn't particularly horny because I'd not long finished a session with my friend. But strangely enough, things started looking up, so to speak. We went inside and I had him sit with me, where we continued our fun. The bar was comparitively empty. I fully intended to off him, especially when I unexpectedly saw him in the big cock show but he told me he only did chuck wow, that was the end of the story. Right on midnight I headed over to Good Boys, just on time to see the rich dickhead doctor throwing his money around again. He was greeted with thunderous applause. A few minutes later I turned around and he had gone. My eye caught a glimpse of a guy standing in the shadows. I could see him waving at me so I had him sit with me. He is #69, from Cambodia. As soon as he sat down he started cuddling me and put my hand on his cock. (I only touch the guys when invited to do so). He got hard immediately. Mmm... medium size. Back in the room he was still very affectionate, with lots of hugs and kisses. As soon as we got into bed the medium became enormous. Seven or more inches of fat Cambodian cock. There is a god, afterall. There must be something in the water in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar. They produce lots of well-hung guys. So fucking was immediately ruled out and we settled for a 'samoking' and chuck wow session. I had great difficulty getting me mouth around his cock. His performance wasn't the greatest but I was more than satisfied. He was jacking off as he was servicing me and came in his hand. Unfortunately, I'll be sleeping in a sticky bed tonight because he managed to soil the sheets a little. He turned out to be ever so slightly fem, but for once I didn't care.3 points -

I get the idea but I don't have an Explore function on Grindr and I don't have reliable sources for data for safety/quietness as it's subjective and can vary by the street apparently. I just hope those who've been there can share a couple of suggestions and I'll go from there. 2 places would allow me some room for an error, at least I'm not going to be stuck there for the whole trip:) Thanks for your contribution everyone, really appreciate it! Love that snobbish tone but that sincerely is my preference- an average straight looking guy... as I'm worried too much about my own looks around muscled gorgeous models. I've posted a report on my Cairo trip recently - so I'm definitely dedicated to share the experience as this forum helped me massively last time as well2 points -

Quiet lodgings may have more to do with location in a building than particular neighbourhood. For example, in a lovely Estadio/Laureles unit walkable to the Metro I could not sleep due to street traffic on a secondary north/south roadway, but moved following day to the back of the building, larger unit without balcony and with enclosed bedrooms further shielding from corridor noise, very peaceful. In contrast, on a main Poblado thoroughfare the street noise was so profound that it bled all the way around and over the roof to the back bedrooms of the penthouse I let. It was unreal. My home base is a bustling downtown zone so it’s not as if I have country mouse expectations.2 points -

Is this apple video insulting to Thailand??
floridarob and one other reacted to reader for a topic
From Thai PBS World The Apple company has offered an apology for the recent release of the fifth instalment of its “Underdogs” series of promotional films, which sparked outrage in Thailand. They have also agreed to stop disseminating it. In its statement, Apple said that the shooting of the fifth instalment of the “Underdogs” series in Thailand, in cooperation with a Thai company, was intended to reflect Thai culture in a positive way. The ad was not, however, seen as appropriately or adequately reflecting the contemporary Thai way of life, said Apple, as it offered an apology. Earlier, Apple had suspended the comments section on its YouTube page for the ad. As of July 28, it had attracted 5.1 million views, approximately ten days after its release. The ten-minute featurette, described as a comedy thriller, featured four company employees racing around Thailand to meet their clients’ demands for design and quantity.2 points -
Unless you want the have A LOT of sex in Colombia, paid sex is not going to be your biggest expense. You can have sex in Cali for as low as 50 mil. Plenty of Grindr guys prepared to meet for 70 mil. 100 mil is on the high end there. (I probably do not need to convert to GBP or Euro; anyway it very low).2 points

Exactly my thinking. If the OP believes the young local models will be standing in line to provide sex without payment in one or the other way, he is in for a reality check once arrived in Medellin. As stated above, for sure lots of guys will be prepared to meet a gringo for sex without payment, but presumably the OP will have no/very little interest in such older, ugly, chubby guys, small dick guys etc. Anyway, let us leave it to the OP to make his own experiences/conclusions when visiting Colombia.2 points

I enjoyed my visits to Bucaramanga (BGA). I was also combining doing remote work and hollidays. The city vibe feels a bit like Medellin, but without provenza or the metro. The climate is also moderate. Cabecera is the more upmarket part of town and a good place to rent an Airbnb. It's the Laureles of BGA, but without the gringos. Prices are moderate and plenty of good coffeeshops & restaurants. There are large shopping malls as well. Gay life (bars / discos) is a bit limited, the only (gay) disco I visited was 'Deja Vu'. You can visit Giron, 30 minutes from BGA, a nice colonial town. An other nearby town, Piedecuesta, was a success for boy hunting and I made a couple nice nature walks and a visit to small waterfalls with a local guy. San Gil is a must visit if you like adventurous sports (rafting, parapente, ..), but it's a 2,5 hours bus ride from BGA. There's also a natural park that is worth visiting, Chicamocha. It has a small water park that the uni guys love to visit. The area just before the airport is nice to visit as well. Take a coat, since it can get cold, but there are a couple restaurants with impressive views there. That's probably my main beef with BGA. The airport is in the mountains and when it rains, the clouds hinder air traffic. In both occassions I had to fly out of BGA, it was raining and my flight was delayed.2 points

No. If you want an authentic experience, stay in Laureles. El Poblado has become the epicentre for remote workers and ex-pats in the city. If you follow any Medellín real estate accounts, all of those big apartments for sale is because the Colombians (including those who can afford them) avoid the Poblado neighbourhood. Getting around the city is an issue since everything is split West-East because of the Medellín river. The local boys won't care, they are used to it. They are most likely to live in an area far from Poblado so don't let that factor into your decision.2 points

I arrived in Bangkok Sunday and my friend came over to my hotel - The Raya - in the afternoon "say hello". Last night he was busy so I headed off to the bars. First stop was Nature Boy, just for old time's sake, as I haven't seen the mamasan, Jay, for a couple of years. Only 2 guys were working but Jay assured me they actually had a third boy but he didn't turn up because it was raining (!!). I sat with a guy but nothing happened - he was wearing jeans so it made things difficult. I quickly finished my drink and wandered down the soi into Super A. Oh, dear! Only 4 guys working. One was quite cute so I invited him to sit with me. He's from Myanmar. He immediately put my hand down his pants and got an instant hard-on. After about 30 mins I decided to let him go and choose another guy. As soon as he sat down he covered his crotch as if to say, no touching allowed. We sat in silence before I gave up and left and headed over to the bars in Patpong. First stop was Hotmale. The Second stop was Fresh boys. Lots of friendly, handsome guys greeted me. The bar was half full - mainly with Chinese tourists. The show was the usual with a bit of cock on display. Every time the ladyboys came on I went outside to sit with the boys and have a cigarette. Most of the guys are Vietnamese, one of whom appeared in the big cock show. Basically, this guy is all cock. As we were having a chat one of the other big cock boys came over, smiled at me and then started groping me! I felt obliged to return the favour! I gavr him a nice tip to ensure that I'll be in for more of the same next time I return. Then it wad off to Good boys for the shows. The bar was packed and the guys were very welcoming - lots of smiles, nods, winks and the odd chuck wow hand action. There were around 30 guys vying for attention and I was especially interested in a Vietnamese guy who sat opposite me rubbing his crotch. Later he was in the big cock show and he has one of the biggest cocks I've seen in a while. But I could make my move he was snatched by another customer. Tonight I started with Hotmale. They wanted to charge me 500 baht for a drink but I beat them down to 400, as I only wanted to drink water. About 20 guys but unfortunately, they were all in long sweat pants. The show was a series of weird dances with guys wearing mosquito nets and equally weird hats and wigs. Not much cock but at least no ladyboys. Then off to Fresh Boys. As soon as I arrived the ladyboys were on so I sat outside. Suddenly, I was approached by last night's groper. Before I knew it there was a conger line of gropers / gropees waiting their turn. I only had fun with 2 and we then retired to the toilet where following another session, they got their tips. "See you tomorrow", they said. "Sure will!" I replied. Last of all was Good boys. It was standing room only. As with the other bars the customers were mainly Asian. I had a guy sit with me and we started yet another groping session. He's a small guy from Laos and his cock is very small but he is as cute as a button. Suddenly, I found myself getting horny again so I offed him. Back in the room we showered together and it's there that I noticed his cock had grown somewhat. By the time we hit the bed I got to see it in all its glory. From small things big things grow. It was magnificent. Too big for me. So he proceeded to give me the best blow-job I've had in ages. He knows every technique in the book. He then chuck-wowed with a bit of help from me and a porn movie and then finished me off with his mouth. I guess I'll be seeing him again tomorrow night.2 points

Kunlavut advances to quarter-finals
Ruthrieston reacted to reader for a topic
From The Nation Kunlavut Vitidsarn, the 2023 men’s badminton world champion, is poised to take on the current world No 1 Shi Yuqi of China following his victory over Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto in the round of 16 knockout match at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena in Paris on Thursday. Despite being troubled by poor air ventilation in the first game, the world No. 8 lost the opening game 16-21 and trailed by three points early in the second game. However, Kunlavut raised his level, cut down on unforced errors, and intensified his attack to bounce back and win the match “I made way too many mistakes and played under pressure in the first game. But after that, I stopped worrying about the results and tried to play faster to wear him down,” Kunlavut said. A herculean task awaits Kunlavut on Friday evening when he faces China’s Shi, who has collected four titles this season, including the French Open, where he defeated the Thai in straight games in March. “I will enter the match as an underdog since he is a better player in every aspect, whether it’s technique, physical condition, or experience. In fact, I have already reached my goal by advancing to this stage of the competition. I will do my best,” Kunlavut told reporters. Kunlavut and Ratchanok Inthanon are the only two Thais remaining in the badminton competition. The former world champion, Ratchanok, will play her women’s singles quarter-final match against Gregoria Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia on Saturday.1 point -

OP, not shouting with text in caps, though admittedly I am suppressing that instinct. Since it appears Grindr will be your main source of hookups, why don’t you use its Explore function, zooming in and out of geographical zones and entering the data regarding quantity of profiles into a detailed spreadsheet? Book your lodgings in urban areas that have the most profiles by an arbitrary number of square kilometres. For accurate representation conduct these searches within windows of time that match the time frames you anticipate you will be seeking when there. After that, enter into your formula some variables related to free, pay, pay with discount, magnitude of discount, position, Metro card holders, Uber account possessors, and so on. This will help you to zero in on what I believe for you is the dilemma of selecting among 4 consecutive neighbourhoods for one-week stays in cities that I believe you have, thankfully, already narrowed down. Though I see that the local availability of purified water may now play an additional role. Consider all the above with the added factor of district safety ratings. Good luck, and enjoy. Board history in general suggests we won’t get feedback following your travails but will hope that doesn’t mean you met an untimely or unfortunate outcome. The feedback is important, though, as the majority of posters go for average-looking talent, trade or otherwise, and that’s a good fit given your agenda. I am glad you have mentioned attention to the view.1 point

But it is impolite to throw money - or anything, for that matter - at people. I remember a night in BBB in Pattaya when a Japanese guy did the same as the guys were lined up on stage. Being Japanese, he should have known better. There was an unseemly scramble among the boys to pick up as much as they could. Lots of yelling, pushing and shoving. I thought it was demeaning, but then, maybe that's just me and my Japanese upbringing.1 point -

And be ready - everywhere you'll be white monkey for them - in meaning they will starring on you and discuss you. Everything in these phrases is about gay bars for meeting and hook up. In regular bars you'll be fine. You'll be also fine in gay bars if you will visit bar with Korean friends. Nope See note above about gay bars. Summary: Koreans are quite nationalistic in preferences. Commercial sex exists, use apps and boys will find you, or talk with managers in massage shops "for males". Koreans do not hunting for foreign sponsors as much as Vietnamese, or Thai, or Cambodians. Country is more conservative than most of SE Asia countries. Korea isn't country for sex tourism. Oh, and be ready: Seoul is quite expensive.1 point -
