    Time to return

I arrived in Bangkok Sunday and my friend came over to my hotel - The Raya - in the afternoon "say hello". Last night he was busy so I headed off to the bars. First stop was Nature Boy, just for old time's sake, as I haven't seen the mamasan, Jay, for a couple of years. Only 2 guys were working but Jay assured me they actually had a third boy but he didn't turn up because it was raining (!!). I sat with a guy but nothing happened - he was wearing jeans so it made things difficult. I quickly finished my drink and wandered down the soi into Super A. Oh, dear! Only 4 guys working. One was quite cute so I invited him to sit with me. He's from Myanmar. He immediately put my hand down his pants and got an instant hard-on. After about 30 mins I decided to let him go and choose another guy. As soon as he sat down he covered his crotch as if to say, no touching allowed. We sat in silence before I gave up and left and headed over to the bars in Patpong. First stop was Hotmale. The Second stop was Fresh boys. Lots of friendly, handsome guys greeted me. The bar was half full - mainly with Chinese tourists. The show was the usual with a bit of cock on display. Every time the ladyboys came on I went outside to sit with the boys and have a cigarette. Most of the guys are Vietnamese, one of whom appeared in the big cock show. Basically, this guy is all cock. As we were having a chat one of the other big cock boys came over, smiled at me and then started groping me! I felt obliged to return the favour! I gavr him a nice tip to ensure that I'll be in for more of the same next time I return. Then it wad off to Good boys for the shows. The bar was packed and the guys were very welcoming - lots of smiles, nods, winks and the odd chuck wow hand action. There were around 30 guys vying for attention and I was especially interested in a Vietnamese guy who sat opposite me rubbing his crotch. Later he was in the big cock show and he has one of the biggest cocks I've seen in a while. But I could make my move he was snatched by another customer. Tonight I started with Hotmale. They wanted to charge me 500 baht for a drink but I beat them down to 400, as I only wanted to drink water. About 20 guys but unfortunately, they were all in long sweat pants. The show was a series of weird dances with guys wearing mosquito nets and equally weird hats and wigs. Not much cock but at least no ladyboys. Then off to Fresh Boys. As soon as I arrived the ladyboys were on so I sat outside. Suddenly, I was approached by last night's groper. Before I knew it there was a conger line of gropers / gropees waiting their turn. I only had fun with 2 and we then retired to the toilet where following another session, they got their tips. "See you tomorrow", they said. "Sure will!" I replied. Last of all was Good boys. It was standing room only. As with the other bars the customers were mainly Asian. I had a guy sit with me and we started yet another groping session. He's a small guy from Laos and his cock is very small but he is as cute as a button. Suddenly, I found myself getting horny again so I offed him. Back in the room we showered together and it's there that I noticed his cock had grown somewhat. By the time we hit the bed I got to see it in all its glory. From small things big things grow. It was magnificent. Too big for me. So he proceeded to give me the best blow-job I've had in ages. He knows every technique in the book. He then chuck-wowed with a bit of help from me and a porn movie and then finished me off with his mouth. I guess I'll be seeing him again tomorrow night.

while you are correct I need to add that some are quite persistent and ' no ' to be taken for an answer must be very elaborate. Things that work the best is to march with some farang friend and tell them he is our boyfriend , best in Sheakespearian ' him boyfriend me", but even that was met with counterproposal ' we will have regular massage and you can tell him to watch ". In May this was trick I used when we marched there with bkkmfj and that was crafty response I got when I claimed ' him jealous "

  3. Good to be thinking about this. Short answer is yes, you can use your phone in public. However, be aware of your surroundings. You may have seen the videos of moto thiefs grabbing phones from users hands in Colombia. That is a real thing. So be discrete. Don't pull out your iPhone 15 Max in public and think no one is going to notice. As the Colombians say "no dar papaya". Don't make a show of it, don't be obvious. But don't let paranoia ruin your experiences of the city. Just keep the phone in your pocket, or go Colombian and store your phone in the crotch of your briefs. Some caleño may even ask you to retrieve his phone for him, it's a not-very-subtle pick up move there. As for public transit, you can absolutely take the bus during the day. It's the easiest way to get from downtown (north Cali) to the south and the outer suburbs thanks to dedicated bus lanes.

  4. Use good sense. There will be those who approach you purely because of a gringo fetish, because you are new and fresh to the scene, and others will be interested what cash they can extract from your wallet. Don't give into temptation; keep your wits about you and be certain that you are comfortable with the person and that they are genuinely interested in you. Finally, as discussed extensively here, remember that the security at your Airbnb is there to protect. They should be aware of your guests and most will not allow guests to exit if you are not with them. Get in the habit of exiting with your guests so the security knows if something isn't right. Just relax and keep your eyes open. I've had many occasions where I have had instant "boyfriends" who turn into personal security to keep the other punters off their new find. Just watch for the signs or being too aggressive, insistent on spending your money, or overly affectionate within minutes. If it feels too showy or fake it probably is. But if you meet some hunky caleño who wants to show you his moves in bed, I am not telling you that you shouldn't.

  5. Cali: Whilst I’m able to endorse the Airbnb listings/the building recommended by xpaulo above (I have stayed there 2 years ago, and had no issues taking visitors to my room; there is no security /doorman but the caretaker on site, Mr Diego is really nice/friendly) the nearby ERE Luxury suites are better value; more upscale and really nicely equipped rooms and has slightly lower rates if you book directly w/ the property/on their website rather than Airbnb. Very good communication in English through WhatsApp. No security staff on site and visitors are no issue. Stayed there 3 times already and is my place to go to in Cali. In general, in cities like Barranquilla, Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, Cali, etc there is no issue taking guys to your room even in buildings with reception/security staff (no one will ask/bat an eyelid). In smaller /no-high end hotels you will often be charged a small fee for a visitor so inquire about that if important to you. In my experience it is only in Medellin, Bogota (and Cartagena?) the no-visitor policy is often applicable and you need to inquire about this ahead of booking.

  7. On safety concerns I wanted to invite one of the for hire guys at Phisicus to my apartment for the following day and checked with the guy at the front desk he said I could trust the guy. Like many saunas in Colombia, the front desk guy has a view of the locker area... at Phisicus, he asked another customer to remove his stuff from a locker that was in the front counter for me to put my stuff in. Maybe they're extra careful for tourists, not sure. Had a wonderful afternoon in bed the next day fooling around and eating Doritos. (and then washing the Dorito dust out the sheets after he left.}

  8. Stay For a first trip, I am going to suggest that you stay either in barrio Granada -- El Hayedo de Juanambú on Calle 10a Norte caters to remote workers with all the amenities onsite -- or in barrio San Antonio. Both are very central and walkable, although Granada is in the hills. In both Grenada-Versalles and San Antonio there are plenty of Airbnb options. As for horny locals, they will be happy to meet you in either area. While spread out, Cali is not a huge city. Either neighbourhood is a 15 minute moto ride from the more populous barrios in central Cali. My recommendation is when planning your stay, make sure they have motorbike parking available for guests. They will be concerned about theft, as Cali has a higher crime rate that other cities in Colombia. Just so you know. Things to Do -- Cali is surprisingly walkable because it is mostly flat. There are multiple neighbourhoods to explore and things to see and do in the city. This is the epicenter of salsa in Colombia so definitely plan to explore the clubs and bars just to watch the salsa shows. Or take lessons, there are daily free lessons at Parque del perro, close to the university. That neighbourhood has plenty of small bars, cafes and restaurants that cater to students so you will meet young people there. The riverwalk is interesting and filled with locals walking, jogging and cycling on weekends so there will be vendors and live performances along that area. Nightlife Plan a night out in Grenada which is filled with discos and clubs that are open until 2am on weekends. Then the party moves to barrio Arroyohonda for the electronic and reggaeton crowds, while others will pack the salsa clubs in Juanchito until the sun comes up. You will find a gay-presence in both. There are also multiple gay discos to choose from in Granada (RIP Queen bar) that are packed on the weekend. In fact, you will find the party spills out into the streets when many locals will split a bottle of rum on the sidewalk, hanging out until the clubs get going on the weekends. It's a social scene and you will likely be invited to join these groups for a drink. A safe way to meet some locals. Shopping If you like to shop, there are several commercial shopping centres that offer the latest kit, but I would direct you to explore some of the local boutiques in different neighbourhoods around the city. Will also point out that caleños seem to love sexy underwear and you will see men's underwear boutiques, much of it produced locally, all around the city. The markets behind the river walk are interesting but keep your eyes wide open while exploring. Stay the hell away from this area after dark. Hiking There are several hikes in the city up to the surrounding hills in El Cerro and Loma Linda. Outside the city you will also find a number of small towns and nature areas to explore. In town there are many historic sites along the river to see, and you can visit the Butterfly sanctuary in the west side neighbourhood of Cristo Rey, close to the trail up to the Christ statue overlooking the city. Hooking Up While Cali is off the beaten path, you will meet many gringos who are also working remotely or who simply married and stayed in the city. It has a strong pull for some. I don't know that I would call Cali the centre of afro-colombian culture but there is strong and important presence here since Cali is the gateway to Colombia's pacific coast. What you should know is that you will be sought out by gringo fetishists and those who simply see you as an ATM. Use your powers wisely. For this reason, I would suggest meeting in public first on all occasions and decide if you want to continue further at your place. Optionally, the city has upwards of a dozen "men's clubs" which are basic clubs where men go to drink and have sex. Beyond the macho posing, there is little attitude towards gay men in the city. Finally, re Tinder -- the issue is that it is free. Most people that have Tinder in Colombia use it contact their drug dealer (facts) so it is not the first choice for locals. Grindr is limited account usage so less abuse-scams. Scruff is also very popular in Colombia FWIW. The saying in Cali is "Cali es Cali, el resto es loma". It is a different vibe to the rest of Colombia but there are certainly lots of ways to enjoy yourself. Good luck.

    Do you hate tourists?

Tourists bring extra traffic but also extra money, and it probably for residents of given place to assess which side of that trade they like better. 20 buses descending on Bangkok is nothing , 20 of those at say , Stonehenge would be just too much. Where I live I gladly see tourists, partially that living in the outskirts I'm not affected by them much, more by spectators at nearby sport arena. As a tourist myself somewhere I try to avoid crowded places but if that can't be avoided I just gnash my teeth knowing that I'm as much part of problem as others. In very crowded places I'm firm supporter of limiting access, either by cost of tickets or timed entries as crowds can be dangerous to themselves. I wouldn't enter place where i can't move freely. Sometimes is annoying to see tourists behave obnoxiously, usually when blend of alcohol and crowd is involved but then it's better to leave to locals to sort things out. I understand though that residents of some places my feel they have enough and tourists are pushing them out of their own streets and squares but in equation they have constant access to a marvels other people pay dearly and travel from far just to see glimpse of it. Even most touristy places are eventually emptying leaving locals with garbage to collect but full pockets to go to bank with. Again , it's for them to see what they like better. It goes without saying that most cherished moments of my travels were those spent alone or almost alone in places usually crowded beyond measure , Grand Palace and Mahanakhon in Bangkok , roof of St Peter's in Rome, grounds of Chitzen Itza or Abu Simbel temples come to mind. It's why I advocate to travel outside season and wake up early to be first when gates are opened or arrive late , shortly before closing. Even that it's not universal as of course nobody likes to be only customer in go-go bar

  10. From The BBC An ultra-wholesome Japanese dating series on Netflix has hooked viewers globally. It's part of a wave of reality shows showing the nuances, and differences, of gay relationships. It is a concept that we've seen many times before: a group of strangers enter a house and, as cameras film their every move, they search for a romantic connection. But conceptually, Netflix's The Boyfriend is actually a million miles from the Love Island villa, where singles with chiselled abs search for love (and Instagram fame). The Netflix series is Japan's first ever same-sex dating show – a landmark moment for LGBTQ+ representation. The premise is simple: in Tateyama, a quiet coastal city in Japan, a seaside beach house known as the "Green Room" becomes home to a group of nine young men from different backgrounds, from product designers to artists, models, students, and chefs. As their stories unfold, a group of commentators – including Japanese actress Megumi, pop star Thelma Aoyama, and comedian Yoshimi Tokui – provide a humorous running analysis of every moment, misstep, and micro-drama. Words like "groundbreaking" are overused in TV criticism, but The Boyfriend feels genuinely deserving of it. Since the first episodes dropped on Netflix on 9 July, the show has been positively reviewed and much discussed on social media by viewers around the world – mostly because of how different it feels to the more over-produced, conflict-heavy dating shows we're used to seeing. In the Green Room, romances form over a blink-and-you'll-miss-it glance, a flirty beachside picnic, or a letter posted under a bedroom door. And the show is part of a wider shift, where a new wave of LGBTQ+ dating shows – like BBC Three's I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl in the UK – are showing viewers a more wholesome side to romantic reality TV. TV critic and writer Scott Bryan, host of BBC 5 Live's Must Watch podcast, thinks the success of The Boyfriend is down to it existing at the meeting point between wider TV trends. The first being that TV shows that are not in the English language have become gradually more popular on streaming platforms since dystopian Korean drama Squid Game became Netflix's all-time most-watched show in 2021. "Sometimes, watching a show with subtitles means that you actually become much more absorbed in it," Bryan says. "Because you're not scrolling on your phone or looking at another screen, you actually have to watch it." Then there is the show's production set-up, with the group of commentators providing a sense of narrative cohesion and witty asides: this is an extension of the format of Married at First Sight UK and Australia, where the "experts" watch group events such as dinner parties. "The fact that you have these personalities providing instant reactions, rather than syphoning that off to a separate programme, is great. It makes the show easier to follow and it also makes the raw footage of the participants feel more organic and authentic in comparison." There is also a more thoughtful, quietly sincere quality to both the contestants and the show as a whole that makes it stand out. The Boyfriend has a distinctly “back to basics” feel about it. The group are tasked with running a coffee truck together and managing how they spend the profits to cover their household budget. As the name suggests, the show is about finding romantic love, but over the course of 10 episodes, which have been released two at a time throughout July, the group have also formed deep friendships. Fans have been won over by the brotherhood between the men (and even their taste in menswear) almost as much as their unpredictable romances. In 2023, BBC Three's I Kissed a Boy, presented by Dannii Minogue, became the UK's first-ever gay dating show. (It was followed by I Kissed a Girl, starring a group of queer women, in 2024.) Dan Harry, a participant on I Kissed a Boy, was initially unsure when he was approached by a casting producer. "I was extremely cautious," he says. "Because there were no reference points for this. There were no other gay dating shows for me to visualise what it was going to be like." But this ended up being what convinced him to take part. "I realised it could turn out to be a bit of a landmark TV moment. I wanted to be a part of that." Watching The Boyfriend, and both I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl, what is noticeable is how direct the communication is between the couples. Proper conversations between the contestants about their backgrounds and emotional lives come to the fore much more quickly than on a show like Love Island, where talk for a long while mostly seems to revolve around superficial flirting or "grafting". Rejections are often delivered more constructively and, in general, these shows have felt noticeably kinder and less manipulative of their subjects than majority-straight shows like Love Island, Love is Blind, or Married at First Sight. "There's a really big difference between Love Island and something like I Kissed a Boy," Harry explains. "On I Kissed a Boy, you see our stories and our backgrounds, our upbringings, and our deeper emotional feelings, whereas within Love Island pretty much everything is about what happens in the bubble of the villa."

    Time to return

I've got to tell you what I saw tonight in Goodboys. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. After enduring the insipid show at the nearly empty Dream Boys I went to Good Boys to off last night's guy for another "smoking" session. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. As often happens, when guys make money with a customer they go AWOL for a while. There was a customer sitting opposite me wearing stupid -looking white sunglasses and acting like a total dickhead. He was standing up and waving his arms around and "dancing" to the music. During one of the acts he got up on stage and lay down on one of the performers and pretended to be fucking him. (Don't you just hate it when foreigners do that!) He returned to his seat and when the show finished he walked up to the stage and threw a fistful of 100 baht notes in front of each boy. He went back to his seat, took some more money out of his man bag and threw even more money at them. They must have collected a couple of thousand baht each. The girls in the caberet show also benefited from his largesse as he stuffed handfuls of money down the front of their dresses and then threw another couple of handfuls up in the air. He stood in front of one girl and peeled of 12 notes , one after the other. Back in his seat he zipped open the little man bag of the boy sitting with him and stuffed it with fistful of money. I mean, literally stuffed it in. At the end of the night, when all the boys were gathered on the stage for the finale, out came the money again. Every boy got a fistful of notes. The boy sitting with me said he comes there every night - although I didn't see him last night - and throws cash around the bar. When I left, he was sitting outside and he called me over to say hello. The first thing I noticed was the Richard Mille watch he was wearing - the same brand Rafael Nadal wears and cost over a quarter of a million dollars! We got talking and he told me he was the doctor for the Barcelona football club and proceeded to show me photos of him with various players - Suarez, Neymar, etc. He told me he travels all over the world with them and has homes in Barcelona, Miami, Cuba and Pattaya. I was very happy for the boys but throwing money like that I find very disrespectful. And I'm sure the boys didn't mind! But it's just goes to show that money doesn't buy class. Apparently, he spends 30,000 baht or more there every night, but I have a feeling it was a lot more than that. Unfortunately, that was the most exciting event for the night as I went home alone.

  12. step in the right direction for sure. Under pretext of antiterrorist measures and later sexual exploitation and fighting human trafficking slowly but surely , one by one , we are being spied by the states to extend Hitler and Stalin only could dream about. Do not assume that if you don't have anything compromising you are good to go. Once I was made subject of extensive search only because agent got suspicious why my travel diary has baby ( fully dressed, relax) on it's cover. " Interesting" was his comment when I explained that it was first thing on the shelf when I was buying one. Another case was coming from Lithuania but agent took an interest in my Thai and Cambodian stamps in passport and pulled me aside for further questioning why I go there so often. Even me being assertive with remark ' office , I'm coming from Lithuania, not Cambodia" did not stop him from asking to go through my pictures on the camera ( I did not have smartphone then ). Gave up fast after seeing all that baroque Vilnius churches and gothic Trakai castle No, it was not on American border so no sense singling USA out. When I remark sometimes that I fondly recall my crossings to USSR in it's day , believe you me , I'm sincere .

  13. Well, it can happen anywhere if you do not do your screening sufficiently or are just unlucky. I suppose security staff may prevent some visitors from turning into violent demanding persons etc but as the OP commented dealing w/ security staff can be a hassle and it gives you less of a slut feeling. Mind you this is not Medellin and the majority of guys will visit you with genuine intentions/to make money by proving sex. I should also add that mostly I’m w/ guys I have meet before so I’m not that concerned about safety, security etc.

I live in a community / area where we have many tourists for maybe 7 or 8 months a year (November > April, June > September). No home of the stars tours, but they're here for the beaches and climate. We have a lot of roadway traffic, then. Restaurants are full. I've learned to stay away from the most frequently visited areas during the busy seasons / hours and confine my own local tourism / restaurant hopping, etc. to the quieter times. I lived in Chicago much of my life, too, and tens of millions of tourists visit that city yearly. You just learn how to maneuver the crowds ... and have an appreciation for the money they bring into the community and the jobs they create. In the past years, there are two areas in Mexico City (Colonias Roma Norte, Condesa), a city I frequent one or two times yearly, and you will see a few buildings with spray-painted slogans "Gringos Go Home". Gentrification, virtual workers from abroad, are said to be the cause of the anger.

  16. I've stayed in El Poblado and Laureles neighbourhoods and much preferred Laureles just because it didn't seem to be trying so hard... although you may find yourself going to other neighbourhoods for entertainment. Laureles does have Carrera 70 that crosses Circular 1 and 2 with bars, discos and restaurants. The sidewalks are full of people laughing and just generally having a good time. I stayed in a great place in Cali, an apartment that is one of the 16 listings by the host Mejia Hoyos E Hijos. The Airbnblisting for the apartment I was in is "204) Modern Loft In Granada". Nice neighbourhood, few blocks to the big Centenario shopping centre and good restaurants. Less than two blocks to Phisicus 21 gay sauna. They have a masseur on staff, or they did, and there may be unofficial masseurs for sex in the evenings or late afternoon. Really enjoyed the market tour, the walking tour had lots of info about the history and culture of Cali. There were some interesting looking bike rides in the Cali area.

He also has a son with SEVERE mental and physical disabilitys, which he says Donald once told him to let his son die because he is a monetary drain, and he should then move to Florida.... What a DIGUSTING thing Trump is.... I wont even classify him as a person.

  19. From CNN Kudos to you if you can speak perfect Japanese and order food at a neighborhood sushi bar in Tokyo. If you can, chances are that on your next trip to Japan, you may be able to score a better deal by blending in as a local. Japan has never been a destination known for hiking up prices for foreigners. But overtourism – fueled by a combination of pent-up post-Covid demands (aka “revenge travel”) and the weak local currency – has recently prompted restaurants in the country to consider the merits of differential pricing. “People say it’s discrimination, but it is really hard for us to serve foreigners, and it is beyond our capacity,” said Shogo Yonemitsu, who runs Tamatebako, an all-you-can-eat seafood grill in Shibuya, Tokyo’s bustling shopping district. He maintains that he doesn’t charge tourists extra. Instead, he offers a 1,000 yen ($6.50) discount to locals. “We need (this pricing system) for cost reasons,” Yonemitsu said.

I was at a neighbor's birthday party last week-end. We were seated at the "neighbors' table" (as opposed to relatives' table), so we got to talk with a lot of our neighbors. We live in a neighborhood riddled with celebrities, and tour vans are constantly plying our streets. When we drive to downtown LA or to Burbank, and we take Mulholland Drive down the hill (as opposed to when we drive to WeHo, Hollywood, the west side, or the valley), and we pass on average 3 vans as we go down the hill. Our record so far is 8 vans (though that's an extreme). In my experience (having lived here almost 4 years), the drivers of these vans seem quite considerate, and always pull over where it's safe to pass. I've never seen traffic back up because of them. Well, one of the neighbors voiced how much she hates those tour vans, and others chimed in. They've never bothered either of us, so I told her I find them amusing, and do a royal wave as they pass by when I'm taking my dog on her daily walk in the park, pretending I'm a celebrity like Kevin Costner, whom I vaguely resemble (though perhaps a younger version of him). Another neighbor said he gave them the finger when someone asked if he was Steven Spielberg (whom he vaguely resembles). (I should note that Kevin Costner, but not Steven Spielberg, have lived near our place). Well, I'd much rather these tourists take these vans than drive up with "Stars maps," clogging up our streets. There are noisy motorcycles which zoom down Mulholland, and some other undesirables, but I don't see these vans as a problem. Some dumb tourists who don't know where they're going when driving around are far more problematic. Tourism provides a great boost for our local economy, and I like to provide a welcoming, rather than hostile response to the tourists. I travel to Mexico far more often than I do to Hawaii, for example, because Mexicans are far more welcoming people than Hawaiians (as a whole). I suppose some tourists can act obnoxiously, but most are quite nice. Places which welcome tourists get a lot more repeat visits, which helps the economy. What's your view on tourists who visit your city? Do you welcome them, and act friendly, or act as if they were a nuisance? Where do you live, and how many tourists do yo get?

  21. I can't imagine Israel would have dared kill Ismail Haniyeh while he was in Qatar, but did he really think he could go to Iran and live? Especially after Hezbollah recently attacked Israel? What incredible arrogance and stupidity. Well, hopefully this isn't the start of WW3. If Iran is too bold in its retaliation, this could lead to all-out war.

Quite often the same dish may taste differently depending of place , chicken with cashews is good example. India deserves honorary mention for zillion of things but food? shock for me !

However looks like everyone recommend the flat with security included... So I'm going to consider this, thanks!

Good quality furnishings with the tables far enough apart to allow privacy. Menu and prices the same. And that means the chicken and cashew nuts should not be missed. Obviously! However, this should be clearly indicated in the menu if there is sales tax, service charges to be added, usually in small print below menu lol Some businesses uses signs like 40++ to indicate its not final price u pay, or 40 nett to indicate that the price includes tax and service charges.

no, I was also in Januray, just pre-covid. Flew from Aswan , took package flight +hotel + breakfast from there. Arrived noonish, very hot but not debilitating. Went to temples in the afternoon, advised by hotel about time cruise was about to depart . There were some tourists left over but post sightseeing so I had main temple to myself for about 40 minutes, not even guard, in second temple there were few tourists . What surprised me was how cold it was at night, I used both extra blankets I found in the room . so my advice is to spend night there after doing temples, not before. As for off season you are right, my personal friend , sporty lady in her 40 ties then went there in summer and yes , collapsed due to heat stoke. Fortunately help was at hand and ever since she considers her an idiot because they were warned no to go there in summer but some people like discounted trips I guess.

  30. There are many video clubs and men's clubs in different barrios across the city. Some, like Metropolis Club, are larger spaces while most are small, multi-roomed bars where men watch the football game and cruise between drinks. It is meant to be a social space for men to fraternize together. If you want to suck a dick in between halves, then most contain a space to do that. If you search for gay spaces in Cali on Google maps, you will see these clubs spread out across most of the city's barrios.

  31. it's not about tipping , nothing aggressive here in this respect. it was about tax being added to the price at the cash register or when you receive a bill, if some sticker or menus shows price 10 $ ,you will be asked for 11.30 . Tip , if any, will be on top of it

Have been there for ages. But basically very disappointing. Not like 25 years ago with Blue Boy bar etc. Gay scene really diminished, gone online.

  33. Hadn't found that yet in Walgreens! Next visit. Its also annoying, to say the least that they print suggested tips on the bill starting at 18%. It's always said that waiters don't get paid, but NY has a minimum wage, which, although complex provides a basic level for waiters. Where I have breakfast in NY, recommended, the Red Flame Diner, W44th near 6th, I worked out that with an average tip of $3.00 per customer, the harassed looking Hispanic waitresses make up to $50 per hour. Mind you, they earn it, though they don't clear the tables!

Polls are often manipulated in favor of the person who brings in better ratings or more likes and clicks.... Thats why I often disregard them. Trumps brother Fred appeared on the View today, and when asked what would happen IF Trump LOSES in November, Fred replied "he's NOT going away."

  37. 6th place Vault score in a field of 24 is good. Enthusiastic fist pumping of air does not add points. 5th in Rings.

  41. A member of this site recommended Cucuta as an out of the way non-touristy city and I enjoyed the few days I was there. It might be a good place to get work done. There's little to do there for a tourist, especially one who doesn't speak much Spanish. But it's definitely different from the bigger cities that get lots of foreign visitors. The people were quite nice. I stayed in a nice airbnb a couple of blocks from a big shopping centre. The owner showed me a walking route to the centre with enough security guards that made it relatively safe. There was a hotel between the airbnb and the centre that had a big pool you can hang out at for the day for a small fee. There is one gay sauna that had a couple of working guys plus the receptionist was also available when he was not working. There's also a gay bar that I didn't go to, but heard had lots of cute young guys. I think finding sex partners you don't have to pay depends on a combination of, are you at all attractive and how skilled you are getting guys into bed. Not sure how dangerous it is compared to other Colombian cities, but the airbnb owner gave me lots of safety tips. And because of the general friendliness in the shops, restaurants, etc, I didn't feel like I was alone in a hostile place. An example, when I left I had to pay for my carry on before boarding the plane. I don't speak much Spanish and the guy at the airline counter didn't speak English so it was difficult for both of us, but we both stayed cheerful and I apparently I was his first Anglo-only customer because when we finished I realized his co-workers had been watching and they gave him a round of applause and he gave me a fist bump.

  44. Trump Health Update: Trump has removed the "sham" bandage from his ear, and declares he is ALL healed.... Gee, shot with an AR-15 rifle that takes off a piece of ear, and all healed, with no scaring in just 2+ weeks.... THAT sure proves to me he was CHOSEN by God for his mission. 🤣

    Dick's Cafe Jomtien

Rest assured, there's whole brigade here. If course we never start thread about where to find the best because surely we wouldn't agree but common denominator is , we love it. Beauty of that dish is that almost everywhere it tastes bit different, even if ingredients are more or less the same , proportion are not and it ranges from sweet to outright hellishly spicy.
