Tourism provides a great boost for our local economy, and I like to provide a welcoming, rather than hostile response to the tourists. I travel to Mexico far more often than I do to Hawaii, for example, because Mexicans are far more welcoming people than Hawaiians (as a whole). I suppose some tourists can act obnoxiously, but most are quite nice. Places which welcome tourists get a lot more repeat visits, which helps the economy. Yes, usually, it will be asked during point of departure, if you did not book a return ticket with the same airline. I live in Western Australia in what is quite a popular tourist town in summer time and on long weekends and I don't mind the tourists that much as they seem to be pretty good and for the most part well behaved. A member of this site recommended Cucuta as an out of the way non-touristy city and I enjoyed the few days I was there. It might be a good place to get work done. Stay For a first trip, I am going to suggest that you stay either in barrio Granada -- El Hayedo de Juanambú on Calle 10a Norte caters to remote workers with all the amenities onsite -- or in barrio San Antonio. Both are very central and walkable, although Granada is in the hills. In both Grenada-Versalles and San Antonio there are plenty of Airbnb options. I am planning to book Airbnb in December. I have always stayed at hotels but this time decided to stay in Airbnb because of kitchen facilities. The panel will have 120 days to complete its probe, which can be extended by 60 days if necessary, he said. He also said that the procurement of the fitness equipment, involving seven projects, was in breach of state bidding practices. For instance, the prices were inflated above market prices and the specifications were unnecessarily narrow. The deputy permanent secretary also noted that the qualifications of the bidders specified in the Terms of Reference were tailored to limit the number of potential bidders, such as requiring them to submit details of at least four contracts they have signed with state agencies in the past two years, which is beyond the requirements set by the Finance Ministry. Of the 25 officials implicated in the scandal, Nathapong said one of them had resigned, adding that the remaining 24 are not in the same department or unit, but are responsible for the procurement projects.
