I choose massage over offs most of the time and I reserve at lest 10 minutes to reverse roles and massage the masseur. On occasion some guys present particularly well-muscled bodies that cause me to to extend the time I allow myself this pleasure. And it not just the hunks who can present me with this type of passive satisfaction.,. Twinks and twunks can also come with solid muscle tone that cries out to be touched. I've also found that the recipient not infrequently becomes more affectionate as a result of the experience that they normally don't find themselves receiving. But be forewarned: this can lead to sex.🙂4 points

Having just returned from my trip to Barcelona last week I am happy to report that Thermas was not a disappointment, and I can certainly recommend a look. My first visit was on a Thursday afternoon at about 2.30 pm. There weren't many clients there at that time. Upon arrival in the mid afternoon I was approached and received a very warm welcome from 3 or 4 working guys, who were all very eager to please. These were a handsome young Venezuelan named Oliver and his horse hung cousin, who were very free with their conversation and seemed really nice guys. There was also an especially charming Nigerian named Christian with a great body and cock, who spoke perfect English. There was then a steady flow of fresh talent who arrived throughout the later afternoon, all of whom were handsome, hung and personable. In the end I chose to spend some private time with a gorgeous South American guy named Enrique, who certainly knew how to top. I visited again at 3pm on the following Sunday, but the premises were temporarily closed to the public for the clean up after a private party from Saturday, which had rolled on into Sunday, and I chose not to return later that day. I again attended at about 3pm on Monday afternoon, and there were fewer guys, but still a good choice. I had a great session with Christian the Nigerian. Most of the working guys at Thermas were handsome South Americans, both Latinos and a few black guys, one was called Tony with blonde died hair (tasty too), and they were all very chatty and personable. They all had their ample goods on full perky display. If you like guys in their thirties look out for Juan. There was also a Bulgarian, but not many Europeans. The going rate is €50. Entry fee €22. The premises were very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. A final word about the other Saunas, Bruc and Condal. I visited both of these but only saw older guys there, so neither place appealed to my tastes.4 points

Did Boyztown get totally new buildings since 1999 and why a new sign every few years?
colmx and 3 others reacted to daydreamer for a topic
The buildings have not changed. They have remained the same for decades. What you are looking at is a view of the Boyztown other entrance on Soi 13/4. Both views below were taken from in front of the Penthouse Hotel. The building on the right with the ornate wrought iron railings used to be the New Orleans Restaurant. The tall building in the background is still there.4 points -
Recife Recife, the capital of Pernambuco in Northeast Brazil, is often referred to as the "Venice of Brazil" due to its waterways and bridges. While in Recife, one is likely to visit Marco Zero and from there it only cost 10rs to take a water taxi to Parque de Esculturas Francisco Brennand, a small island featuring works of the famous Brazilian sculptor. I spent three days in this city with a Brazilian friend, with the main purpose of the trip being to meet him and lift his spirits. Depression and poverty can be a dangerous combination. Unfortunately, that also meant cutting back on my visits to saunas. I only visited Termas Boa Vista on my last night in the city, despite being a week night, the visit was a success. Uber is a must in this region of Brazil, the sun sets early in July, the touristic neighborhood of Recife felt okay but on the way to TBV, I passed through some questionable neighbors that look dangerous especially at night. TBV itself felt secured, clean, and the management is welcoming. The bar area in TBV had live music and the acoustics was pleasant. The drinks were about 1/2 the price of SP and Rio and the suite was superior in comparison. There were only about seven GPs working, in general the men in NE brazil felt very masculine, more tan, and don't flash their smile as freely as Cariocas. Despite with only 7 GP on premise, I had 3-4 candidates in mind. I came to an agreement with J very quickly and we went to the presidential suite. I was blown away by the amount of passion that came from J inside the suite, easily the best kisser I ever encountered in Brazil. As @ShivRoy stated in his report, the GPs accept 100r without haggling. It was the right choice to visit TBV on my last night and I wish I had more days in Recife because during the weekend, TBV stays open until 6 AM! Overall, I can see Recife becoming a repeat destination in the future.3 points

Biden endorses Harris
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to reader for a topic
From CNN President Joe Biden has thrown his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris to become the next Democratic nominee for president after announcing Sunday he is dropping out of the race. Should Harris officially become the party’s standard-bearer, she would be the first Black woman and first Asian American to lead the ticket of a major political party. The historic endorsement comes after weeks of disarray within the Democratic Party, following a disastrous debate performance by Biden that called into question his ability to win a second term and govern for another four years. Biden ended his campaign Sunday amid growing calls from members of his party to step aside. Logistically, Harris is the natural heir to the ticket as Biden’s running mate. She would inherit the Biden campaign’s massive political operation and war chest. Recent polling has also shown her performing better against former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, than Biden and other potential Democratic contenders.2 points -

There is a new series, Century of Love, which is really great! 100 years ago San loved Wat, a woman who didnt want to marry the husband chosen for her and got shot dead. San was desperate and with the help of a spell he extended his life for 100 years to find Wats reincarnation. Now, in 2024, it turns out that most likely Wats reincarnation is a guy, Vee, something that old fashioned San (so far) can't accept. The spell is based on a magic stone, and of course some sinister people (and some not so sinister) are after the stone. I binge watched the available episodes (4 of 10). It has a lot of action and is also quite funny. It reminds me somewhat of KinnPorsche and it is at the same level. Vee is pretty cute: Could you resist? From The Thaiger Thai AirAsia X announced the suspension of its sole Australian route between Sydney and Bangkok, effective August 1. Despite the temporary halt, the airline assures it remains committed to the Australian market and plans a grand return in December with increased flights and enhanced connectivity. The decision to suspend services was driven by fleet management and operation hub movement. As part of a strategic shift, Thai AirAsia X will relocate all operations back to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) from October 1, moving away from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). To minimise disruption, Thai AirAsia X will reroute impacted Sydney-Bangkok flights via Kuala Lumpur, operated by AirAsia X Malaysia. Affected passengers can alter travel plans with free flight changes, flight credits worth the value of the flight plus 10%, or opt for full refunds. Notifications will be sent via email or SMS to direct bookers, while others should check their booking channels. Thai AirAsia X previously ceased flights to Melbourne and Brisbane in May 2023 and April 2020 respectively, leaving Sydney as its only Australian operation since December 2022. The move to Don Mueang is aimed at leveraging the extensive AirAsia network for better connectivity and easier access to central Bangkok. Parent company AirAsia has been active in Australia and New Zealand, with new services from subsidiaries including Indonesia AirAsia’s Cairns-Bali route and AirAsia Malaysia’s flights to Perth. The group also plans to expand into Europe, North America, and Africa, reported Karryon. In related news, Thai AirAsia announced a new route connecting Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport and Lampang, marking the airline’s 25th domestic destination in Thailand. Starting October 1, travellers can look forward to daily flights on this new route, operated by the airline’s trusty Airbus A320 aircraft.2 points

Manila & Boracay Trip Report July 2024
floridarob and one other reacted to roughjock for a topic
It hasn’t improved. My local friends said the government has restricted the amount of Grab drivers that can be employed. At certain times I was unable to get a Grab at all. From BGC to Makati for example, at 5-6PM. Tried for 35 minutes. Many times you will wait for an assigned car, then they end up being 15 minutes away. I was selecting 4-seat, 6-seat, taxi AND shared for options too. Yes, in Boracay the hotel has a “no visitors in the room” policy, but guests can simply come up the elevator without anyone asking for their ID. I did top, I put my dick into a bottom for three thrusts and he shot all over his chests. Then he wanted to record a video of me fucking him to show his friends that he had sex with a foreigner. You can suck straight guys, sure, but I don’t want to suck a tiny dick. Just my preference. Some do send nudes. Be persistent with them. But they are usually obscure photos or at weird angles. I even had few send fake photos that I reversed image searched to verify it wasn’t theirs.2 points -

I generally don't go in for conspiracies, since Reagan's actions to impoverish working and middle-class folks, governance in the USA is largely rigged for the elites. No conspiracy needed. For example, the Supreme Court isn't a conspiracy, that's straight out and visible right-wing extremist governance from the Court's bench. The one thing I am sure of though is, Trump should be thanking his lucky stars that most, if not all, of the gun nuts are MAGA supporters. It's no wonder Trump's administration stopped tracking right-wing extremists and their domestic terrorism.2 points -

The following article was posted on the National Public Radio (US) website last year. It examines a lot of contributing factors, some of which we have control over--food, alcohol, sleep aids and pre-flight preparations. It also looks those we have little or no influence over. It may not change your life but it may affect how you feel after arriving. From NPR If you're trying to squeeze some travel into the last few weeks of summer, you'll want to get the most out of your vacation. And nothing ruins a trip to the Louvre or a scuba-diving excursion like your body telling you it's time for bed NOW. So can you "hack" jet lag, so to speak? Or at least mitigate it? We posed the question to NPR's International Desk and got an array of helpful answers from our globetrotting staff. For instance, NPR producer Greg Dixon is enthusiastic about an app for jet lag called Time Shifter. "You input your travel schedule and it spits out a plan for a couple days before and a couple days after your flights, advising you when to get/avoid natural light, drink coffee, take melatonin, etc.," Greg writes. "It has worked really, really well." Research on jet lag is limited, and most of it is on athletes, who — much like NPR's journalists — are expected to jet across time zones and perform at their best. A recent consensus statement to help athletes manage jet lag and travel fatigue in the journal Sports Medicine, offers few guiding principles. David Stevens, a physiologist from Adelaide, Australia, who co-authored the statement while working at a sleep research center at Flinders University, breaks it down. First off, you'll want to understand the workings of your body's circadian rhythms, that is, our internal clock that tells us when it's time to fall asleep and when to wake up. Then you can take advantage of what sleep researchers call zeitgebers or time-givers, external factors that set the pace of these rhythms. Light is the most important one but exercise, meals and even social cues can also trigger sleepiness or wakefulness. Whether you use an app or not, Stevens suggests starting your time zone adjustment a few days before your trip begins. "One of your best strategies to prepare for any westward travel is you just go to sleep, for example, an hour later each night," Stevens says. And go ahead and allow yourself to stay in bed an hour later each morning as well. Things get tougher when you're heading eastward. "It's brutal from west to east. It usually takes me 10 days to adjust, say from Washington to Tokyo," writes NPR's Asia editor Vincent Ni. Stevens says there's a simple explanation for this. Going to bed later than normal – as you do when traveling westward – is relatively easy for our body clocks to understand, because you get more tired in the evening. "My body's going, hang on, you're meant to be asleep now, why aren't you asleep?" he says. But when you travel eastward, you have to try to go to sleep when you're not yet tired, and that's just... confusing to your circadian clock, Stevens says. "The body's going, hang on, you're not meant to be asleep yet. What are you doing?" And to make matters worse, one of the body's peak performance times, when we're naturally most alert, is around 7 p.m., he adds. So in these cases, Stevens says, prep a few days before your trip by going to sleep earlier than normal and getting up early to take in lots of morning light. I am going to be using the Timeshifter app for a trip to Europe in August. I did a fair amount of research on this and I have high hopes for this. Kamala, Pete, or pretty much any of the Democratics mentioned as contenders would probably be qualified to be president. But I don't think now is a good time to be politically correct. The objective should be: Who has the best chance to beat Von ShitzInPantz. I think they should go with a centrist Democrat, middle-aged white guy with mass appeal; someone like Mark Kelly (a real astronaut, not a trump-pretend one).1 point

Pres. Biden squandered 3.5 years by choosing not to mentor and bring along possible successors, in addition to VP Harris. I don't doubt VP Harris will get the top job nod from Democrats at the convention. Mayor Pete? I like him, what I heard and saw of him when he ran in the prior Democratic Party primaries won by Joe Biden. However, is he capable / qualified to assume the Presidency if something happened to a President Harris on Day 1? No, I don't think so. I don't think the nation is prepared to knowingly elect a homosexual at that level of office, either. Pundits are already mentioning former Naval Aviator / Astronaut and current Arizona U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly and PA Governor Josh Shapiro as front-runners for the VP nomination. Either of these two would be solid choices and add to the entire ticket. I don't think a two-woman ticket would be successful, though there are a couple of well-qualified women who come to mind: Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Minnesota U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar. I'd have included former disabled helicopter pilot / Illinois U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth but I think there are questions about her birth in Thailand to an American father and whether or not she meets the qualifications because of that (i.e., foreign born). Democrats have a very deep bench of possibilities, had only President Biden not squandered all that time after saying he'd be a transitional President.1 point

In the photo below a still of a video on YouTube which shows Boyztown in 1999 If I compare this with the current buildings most current buildings don't appear to be there. Look at the building where now Boyz Boyz Boyz is and the Ambiance hotel, these appear to be different buildings now. Also at the front far left side you see a brown/black building but I don't recognize its shape at all (compare for example with Google street view). Also if you look good the building where now Panorama bar is, looked totally different and there is a big building at the far end (we only see its top floor) that isn't there anymore at all. Anyone knows that indeed after 1999 a lot of demolition and construction happened in Boyztown? It also appears the Copa hotel is relatively new. I think it came into being only after 2005? I don't mean the building itself, but the hotel. Another strange thing. The Boyztown sign changes every few years. I wonder why. I first arrived in 2014 and I am already at my third sign. But before there were at least 2 others (if I search google for older photos). I assume the local hotel and bar owners pay for this sign, but why replace it with a new one every few years? They make so much money that they don't know what to do with it and just decide to make a new sign again? Here the photo from 1999:https://drive.google.com/open?id=13SS426fWEmZE7f0mV24wubFLCUNOqU6S&usp=drive_fs Edit: From a Japanese website I have this: In 1980, Suttham Phanthusak, a successful foreign exchange entrepreneur in Pattaya, invested in Wichai’s transgender show. The show gradually developed into the internationally renowned Tiffany’s Show. Meanwhile, Michael Burchall bought the Cockpit Bar, a go-go bar and restaurant for gay men, and reopened it in 1985. Other bars and restaurants were subsequently added to the same street where the Cockpit Bar was located, and around 1989, the bar owners decided to name the street Boyztown - the first gay town in Pattaya1 point

I don't think that SP's nightlife has gone stale, but Lagoa has. I've all but abandoned it (whereas I would never consider missing a Tuesday night at Rio's 117). Something has to be done to attract better looking men. There are a lot of huge dicks attached to, well, less than beautiful men. Free entrance for boys with the confidence that it would be made up by more client entrances? A buffet for the boys? Unfortunately, those might attract more low-end boys but not studs. I don't really know what is the solution. 200 seems a little low to me for gozar included. Certainly, I would not be surprised if there were different prices for different boys. Some months ago, there was a handsome muscular blond guy at 117 who would not go below 300. I even offered him 250 on a slow night, but he declined. On the other hand, a guy I used to hire regularly a few years ago approached me around 8:30 on a slow night at 202 when it was clear no further clients were coming and offered +bbk and +gozar for 100. His opportunity cost was slight--what did he have to lose? But in general, though, to gozar, especially when opportunity for further clients remain, does diminish the quality of service and/or increase the effort for the guy to remain hard, so unless it is a guy who feels lucky to just make the 200, it sounds a little low to me.1 point -

Living in Cairo as a gay expat
AsianExplorer reacted to dgcmcm for a topic
As I tried to suggest, the sexual cultures of Egypt appear very complex to new arrivals. As a Western expat, it took me quite some time to learn how to decipher 'signals'. For example, being asked (constantly) "are you married" and questions about your family appear to be everyday, polite questions. If you answer no, this is may be followed up with questions asking you to elaborate on why this is the case. Again, this maybe a straight forward question. However, as I discovered, if you explain that you "like your freedom" and that you live a very mobile life, this may be followed up with more questions asking you to explain why this is so, given that most expat men travel with wives/partners/families etc. If you then reply that "well, its just not for me" or other such vague, seemingly avoidant phrases, this may very well lead to further questions regarding your living arrangements ie. if you live alone, do you have a doorman. You can see where this is going... Interestingly, with some guys this questioning may take ten minutes. With others, it may unfold over several weeks, for example, as you run into the same guy at the local gym and strike up an (ongoing) conversation...1 point
