Vinapu has you well informed with his advice and you're in the right area with the hotel. We share the twink preference so i'll just give my opinion on where i put my order Gogos Freshboys - always a selection worth checking Dreamboys - very close second, some would put first Banana - hit or miss for me but usually someone there worth going for I haven't been to Good Boy and some of the others, but do provide a report if you go Massage I start my stroll from Patpong along Surawong Rd and then down Than Tawan, always works ok. The couple of shops on Surawong usually seem to have more twinks, but i haven't been back since December. Clubs DJ Station usually has some freelancers or free to play guys, especially fri and sat Bars down Soi 4 (same soi as banana), sometimes you'll find freelancers or free to play Grindr and the apps are usually just as busy as Vietnam. Tips vary from boy to boy and venue to venue, I usually just ask and then give them a bit more on top if i want to see them again.6 points

As many have noted, the Saphan Kwai area is a target-rich environment for massage seekers. Although all the shops are on the basic side, SK makes up for it with lower prices and generally larger selections of masseurs than you’ll find elsewhere in town. Most of the guys are free lancers and you’ll find many of the same faces at multiple shops. Having said that, there are some all-male shops scattered about that have dedicated cadres of boys serving only their shop. Last night I booked a guy at 15M which is less than a five-minute walk from the BTS station. Booking is fairly easy via LINE. I sent them his name and photo and requested one hour for two hours later. After initially reporting that he was unable to contact him, he sent me a message a few minutes later saying the boy called back and was available so I booked him. When I arrived at appointed time,my guy and three others were in the shop, any of whom would have been acceptable to me. Rooms are small but adequate with mattress pad on floor and aircon. Showered separately down the hall. There was a large lock box on wall but no key. Pleased to report that the young man provided very good service with skill and affection, fulfilling my expectations. Showered together and took turns soaping each other. Overall, a very pleasant experience worth repeating and tipped above the posted minimum. Prices for an hour vary around the area from promotions as low as 250 to the highest I’m aware of at 550. But I think you’ll find the average about 400 which it is at 15M. Getting there is fairly simple from Saladeang with a change of trains at Siam. Travel time about 25 minutes and RT fare less than 100 baht.6 points

If you staying in Quarter Silom you don't need any recommendation. Within 5 minutes walk , no matter whether you turn left or right you will finds yourself in paradise with 2 dozen massage shops , all with all kinds of guys sitting in front and asking for your attention. Keep walking either way another 5 minutes and you will find yourself in Patpong, second , more narrow alley is called Patpong 2 and this is where you will find Fresh Boys, Good Boy, Hot Male & Dreamboys and those bar names are telling. Visit all and you will be able to make your idea which one is the best. World famous Foodland Patpong is also there for your eating and shopping needs. Few steps further you will find gay center of Silom if not whole Bangkok - soi 4 where Banana Club barkers will greet you enthusiastically close to entrance and if you keep walking , after several restaurants and bars at end of soi you will see Jupiter bar where boys are not exactly twinks but handsome and show is entertaining. If you continue along Silom past soi 4 you will see more and more massage places with boys outside. Turn right at Thaniya , that's busy side street with Japanese flavor and at end of it you will hit Suriwong. In small alley roughly opposite of Raya hotel you will find or barkers direct you to a Moonlight bar with more handsome guys and a lot of more manly twinks. In 15 minutes if you don't stop anywhere your grand tour of the area is done . Going back to hotel you pass by more massage shops and turn into soi 6 where your hotel is . there you will find The One , former Tawan bar known for big boys but you may want to visit there and who knows? Perhaps you will like somebody there as well.4 points

Cambodia Digital Entry card to be introduced from July 1
floridarob and 2 others reacted to vinapu for a topic
I never heard about this before but found it in internet today on reputable site so assume it is accurate. Sounds like another bureaucratic attempt of tourist traffic control. Why it can't be integrated with e-visa , at least for those who apply for visa electronically, not in embassies or at the border ? I also noticed that airfares from Bangkok to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap went up considerably in comparison to last year. vinapu "Beginning July 1, tourists entering Cambodia will need to present a digital entry card in addition to their passport and visa. The document, called Cambodia e-Arrival (CeA), requires holidaymakers to upload a photo of themselves and provide information about the duration of their trip and their place of stay in the country. Once completed, a QR code will be generated, which must be shown on a smartphone or in printed form. The online edition of the Khmer Times reports that devices for filling out the form are available on arrival for those who are unable to complete it in advance. However, tourists are advised to visit the website arrival.gov.kh to fill out the form directly in the browser or download an app and complete it that way. The registration should be done within seven days before entry. While the QR code in the app remains accessible offline, it is recommended to take a screenshot of it if the form was filled out in the browser, advises the immigration authority. Alternatively, one can print the page with the QR code. The new digital entry card is free of charge. All travellers will still need a passport valid for at least six months and a visa, which can be applied for in advance or obtained on arrival for tourists and business travellers. Cambodia is renowned for Angkor Wat, a majestic Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in the country's north. Considered one of South-East Asia's most important archaeological sites, the Angkor complex, which includes Angkor Wat, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992. It remains a top travel destination, featured on many travellers' bucket lists."3 points -

Be careful with Freelancers, could be good, could end up with drama/problems. Is why I like Tarntawan holding their ID's, less of a chance of wondering where your phone is later. Also, if you're a drinker, DJ doesn't use original alcohol, you WILL feel it later or the next day, beers...make sure they open in front of you. Since I've adopted my Gremlins practice of not being out after midnight, in most countries.....zero problems, one of the few benefits of getting older, Wonder how I did it for so many years and now don't miss it at all 🤔3 points -
Stopped by Magic Touch yesterday and was warmly greeted by the manager. He showed me the rate card that indicated one hour oil was 580 baht. When I inquired if either of the two of the guys I had in mind were available, he reported that Mr. King is not there and Mr. Max had moved on to Dubai. As it turned out, only the manager was available at the moment, I thanked him for the information and said I’d drop by another time.3 points

Unless minimum tip is indicated as higher I tip 1000 for 1 hr and 1500 for 1.50 hr session and rarely I see disappointment. If I'm impressed with boy or service or both I tend to force on them 200-500 more, particularly if I'm sure I want to see them again very soon.3 points

For erotic massage with twinks I suggest looking at who you like in the massage shops on Silom Soi 6, 2 minutes walk from The Quarter hotel. Talk to the man you choose at an early stage about what you want. Don't leave them to suggest a happy ending 45 minutes into a one hour booking. They may well ask for 2000 bt. Up to you but it's all negotiable. It's rainy season so they are pleased to see a good customer. In my experience the lads on Soi 6 are helpful. For example, once my belt broke when I was getting dressed. The lad took off his own belt and lent it to me. I returned it afterwards. They can spend a of lot of time waiting for customers so they deserve good treatment from us.3 points -

In Winner Bar last night, about 10 boys on stage but few customers. I think the boys get bored when no customers for them to entice? One boy is very well endowed but forget his number, however he is very nice. His name is something like AhChen but they all seem to have alternate names. The boys do appreciate small tips (40 Baht) unless they sit with you, in which case 100+ is more appropriate.2 points -

Depends on how you are judging performance. You appear to be judging it by the more migrants Russia can achieve the better the performance. EU countries in contrast are trying to reduce/control migration and making it harder to access their countries. EU countries receive significant migration from all over the world while Russia's migration is predominately from former USSR countries.2 points -

Foreigners to be allowed to own 75% of units in condominium projects
KeepItReal and one other reacted to reader for a topic
From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon CBRE Thailand, the market leader in real estate services, has told the Bangkok Postthat increasing the foreign ownership for condos to 75 percent is likely non-consequential right now. This is because very few condo projects have reached the current quota of 49 percent. Praphinleeya Phuengkhuankhan, head of residential sales, said, “An increase in foreign ownership quotas may not be significant for the market or the economy as demand from foreign buyers for any single project is not that high.” She added that even in resorts such as Phuket or Pattaya, non-Thai buyers prefer villas over condos. Nationally, the number of condo ownership transfers by foreigners accounted for 13.6 percent last year, up from 10.8 percent in 2022. However, foreigners tended to purchase condo units outside of Greater Bangkok with Chonburi province, including Pattaya, being a front runner. Foreigners are generally restricted from owning land in Thailand directly. However, they can own specified buildings on the land, such as condominium units, or lease land for various periods which are currently under review by the government. Some commentators believe that current ambiguities about taxing foreigners on remitted income from 2024, and the possibility of taxing them on worldwide income from 2025, is dampening condo sales by foreign investors.2 points -

Don't forget there are plans in place by the MAGA GOP to intimidate qualified voters, who they have racial profiled, to make it more difficult to vote. In Georgia you there are legal consequences for handing some one waiting, in an hours long voting line up, a bottle of water. A better solution would be for the State of Georgia to open up a lot more voting places. Why is the MAGA GOP so afraid of democracy? Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. The defeated former President resoundingly lost in 2020. A decent man would accept that, and a coward would whine.1 point -
Oops, got cut off... 2. Repeat performances are much more likely to fail. Perhaps one's expectations run too high, or perhaps it is boredom (I've seen this movie before) or ...? Of course perhaps passion can persist, for a week, for a month, for a year, even forever (I've been with my bf for over 30 years!) but in general the likelihood of failure is greater. 3. The more early conversation turns to protracted price negotiations, the more fraught the encounter is likely to be. High fees usually correlate to low performance. 4. Language fluency is not a measure of success. What do you think? Marc1 point

in meantime I did bit more looking and yes , confirmed that with official government site. It may be silver lining in that , at first look nonsensical idea - if that is in preparation to Schengen type arrangements with neighbouring countries while wishing to preserve income visas generate. Say visa will be abolished altogether but new Digital Entry card will cost 30 $ as visa is now. As they say where I was born ,"wolf will be fed but lamb still intact". It just my dream1 point -

Russia is great country with great culture and a lot of fresh air but it's heavy hand of state which makes those people wishing to live somewhere else. Putin had best chance to make country catching with prosperous West and fast rising East Asia. It would be interesting to overlay this with the number if emmigrants from Russia. In the USA I recently read that more than 50,000 Russians (mainly younger men trying to get out of Russia's war) applied for asylum in 2023. Europe (mainly France and Germany) reported similar asylum requests.1 point -

One reason might be language barriers. It is not pleasant to have travel companion if you are more or less unable to communicate. Inviting a Colombian guy to travel will you, will work out far better if you know basic Spanish (most likely he will have limited or no English language skills).1 point -

Yes. As I said before individual polls are going to go up and down. Thanks for demonstrating that. An honest person would have also posted the recent FOX poll which showed the exact opposite, with a swing toward Biden. Both are just individual polls. Neither poll in itself is as significant as all of the polls taken together. And, if you can step out of your MAGA echo chamber for a moment, I'll re-post for you, as I have before, the polling trends from 538. Who Is Favored To Win The 2024 Presidential Election? | FiveThirtyEight And yes, there is a swing toward Biden - at the moment. Will this continue? Who knows, maybe it will and maybe it won't. If the swing toward Biden continues then we'll just have to continue to muddle along with democracy.1 point -

This is the whole sex worker issue that I believe you and I agreed to disagree about previously. You see it in black and white and, well, I don’t. Last time you posted a scene from Sesame Street which I thought was quite clever as I recall. In any case, I take Friend at his word because he is a friend. I also believe him because while I never used IG to, um, supplement my income by fucking tourists in exchange for dollars I guess since I grew up in America, I did model when I was in school and the photographers - approximately 100% of whom were gay - expected to be able to touch me and watch me change clothes in front of them during the shoots which I allowed because it was expected and it didn’t really bother me all that much and it was an easy way to earn some extra money. In any case though, I stopped doing that and don’t see why someone else couldn’t do the same. I have also stayed in touch with one of the photographers and consider him to be a friend even though he is now very old and I am old. We get together a few times per year and go out to dinner.1 point -
