Dreamboys is busy every night with customers from those who go just to watch the show and those who go to drink whisky seated in private sofas. While not fully filled to capacity, there is always a steady inflow of customers throughout the night. About 30 to 40 guys working at 9pm. By midnight, only half the guys are standing on stage because some got offs while most were drinking with big spenders. In terms of selection, Dreamboys seems to have every type for everyone. Some handsome twinks. Some well-proportioned hunks (but obviously not to Tawan standard). Also some veterans and old-timers who rarely get offs but are there to perform at shows. Show is mixture of ladyboy and big cock performances. My favourite show in all the bars because of the coyote dancing which starts the first show 10.30pm and the third show after midnight. I went 4 times and always enjoyed the coyote dancing, often tipping my favourites! One of the things I enjoy at Dreamboys is watching the guys going down to meet customers who called them. They always have wide friendly smiles. When I am seated at the side, I have a good view of everything happening. And the bar is not dark like in Freshboys where you can hardly see anything. Here at Dreamboys, you can see customers interacting with the guys, finding out more about each other and doing negotiations, sometimes using their handphones to translate. It was however unfortunate for me to see some customers behaving grotesquely. I saw a farang standing up close to the guys on stage with mamasan and pointing and "interviewing" them for a good 5 minutes. Not classy at all! In my opinion, mamasan should have called them down to the customer instead of allowing such a public display for everyone to see. I also witnessed a ridiculous Chinese customer walking up to the stage to a guy and he grabbed the guy's dick and felt the goods before telling him to go and sit with him! Because I was at Dreamboys so often, I remember the guys and notice how certain guys are buddies and are always together. There's a pair of tall guys whom I see always standing next to each other on stage. During the show, they come off the stage and sit together. I saw them while I was having dinner at Foodland at 7 plus before they report to work on subsequent days. I saw them twice and once, I was at next table. If not for the fact that I was with my guy, I would have sat and chatted with them and maybe even paid for their meal! I also saw from afar one particular guy who works at Jupiter who came into Dreamboys with his Asian looking customer on two nights. They sat at private sofa and had whisky. Mamasans and some Dreamboys guys would join them and drink together. The customer (who wears flowery beach shirt and long shorts and with gold accessories) is Jupiter guy's regular customer so when he comes to Bangkok, Jupiter guy will be away from his own bar to accompany him. This time round, customer was in town for 4 nights. I thought the customer was from China but I found out later that he was Vietnamese. Jupiter guy is popular and has many regular Asian customers who off him because he holds his drink well and he speaks Chinese well. Even though he works at Jupiter, he seldom appears there because he is always with regular customers! I did have one opportunity to meet him at Jupiter to drink and chat with him for a while. He is my regular guy's best friend and we talk and tease each other. Back to Dreamboys. I would say this bar looks to be the best bar in Bangkok in my opinion. It is well-run and its show has something for everyone. Size and layout of venue is also conducive. Seeing the constant stream of customers as well as the number of big spenders at private sofas (there was even one birthday celebration on one of the nights I was there), it might be even more profitable than Jupiter and Moonlight!

Day 6 Apart from mine stamp collection we also perused photos from s’s brother wedding and I noticed that one of guests is certain B , one of guys I missed when in Jupiter. Normally I wouldn’t do it but since we spend so much time together with S over few trips I asked him if he can help me to find that guy. Funny thing , guy whose English is quite good and certainly conversational all of the sudden had problem of understanding me, in second try , in the morning the same so I got the message and did not press issue after that. At noon Bkkmfj and me went to Raya , hotel hoping is over and we will be staying there till end of our trip. Since they were quite strict with 3 pm check in time we did not expect miracles but , likely to low season or perhaps today being Sunday our rooms were available right away. Assignment was very strategic , rooms on the same floor but at opposite ends of corridor , security and discretion all in one. My room facing Suriwong was quite dark owing to this fancy thing on hotel’s façade but it also made it more quiet. At 3 another trip to Senso , unfortunately my hero Leo was already with client so I took another one who was smiling at me. I will leave his nick out of the story but must say in my 30+ trips to Thailand , seeing many buys old and young, fat and skinny, you name it I never saw anybody with such neat anal area. If somebody would take a pics and posted here it’s guaranteed that we all would swear it must be one of Moses’s AI generated guys or at least good photoshop job. Massage was great but afters were bit unenthusiastic but he was happy with my mutilating just did not respond in kind as much as Leo was yesterday. But for that bum I’d take him again and again. Next step was Siam Heritage hotel, they have restaurant on ground floor which serves chicken with cashew but I wanted to try. Almost twice as costly as Foodland’s one and made to bit different recipe as chunks of chicken were fried rather than cooked, way I like , on another hand they bit of overdid it with salt and oil but that was not a reason I did not finish it – serving was simply way to big for one person. At 7 pm I was expected certain O, freelance masseur I once got Line of so arranged for him to come and mutilate me a bit. It was not about massage , I like his personality and a body, he is not malnourished skeleton but also not oversized weightlifter, in short he is a hunk. I met him before and tried to entice him for long time but he always declined but this time I got a word from somebody in the know that he may be amendable to make an exception to his time stingy habit. So somewhere between Tuvalu and Lesotho stamps I asked and answer was immediate and very enthusiastic YES. Almost as he expected it or/and would be primed I will ask again as I did to no effect in the past. He said not today nor tomorrow because some arrangements but after tomorrow suited us me well. Part I liked the most was when I asked about compensation – he said whatever you give me I will be happy. Whoa ho !. It was raining quite heavily buy Raysa is just steps from Moonlight so off Bkkmfj and me went there. Again very welcomed reception, N was nowhere to be seen and I, likely happy that I managed to nail O for that LT after tomorrow was not in offing mood which can’t be said about my companion. When outside my brain started working again and I decided to opt for known and tried . Went to S’s bar hoping he will be there and he was so we have repeat of last night again. No , I left B issue aside and did not bother him but I had faint hope he may mention the issue but to no avail. Known quality is known quality so we had great time again to conclude quite busy and esthetically pleasing day 6.

hmm, what is the hidden message? Did Vinapu feel more "secure" with me at the opposite end of the corridor ? For the discretion aspect, I could understand completely :>)) I would not be able to sleep if I had the adjacent room next to Vinapu 🤪 ohh lala - yes, I could not resist. don't read too much of security statement , sometimes story needs something to be more flowery. Lack of sleep would be no doubt because of jealousy as I'm very quiet guy as everybody and his sister-in-law knows. You did not complain about lack of sleep at Heavens with room across the corridor and at De Arni when they fixed yours above mine. No doubt Moonlight was our bar headquarters that trip when in Bangkok. I did not mention your guys as I believe it's up to others to tell (or not) their stories but now I must say that Lao was extremely yummy ! Too bad trip was short and I did not have a chance to sample.

Dreamboys is also my favourite bar and most attended, mainly because my favourite works there. I always seem to be served by the same mamasan also. Last time I was there (January this year) I felt like there wasn't that much choice in boys and the quality had gone down, however it seems like it's getting better lately. Thanks for the report!

I personally don't have any religious or other affiliations with breakfast offers by hotels I'm staying in. No doubt supported by steady presence of Foodland and in Pattaya, Kiss offerings . Always analyze it from monetary point of view, if room with breakfast cost the same or minimally more ( 6 $ is my cut off point) than one without , I go for it. If costs much more I rather book room without breakfast and go somewhere else or buy it in the hotel as needed although that is rarely good deal in comparison to breakfast included rate. Some breakfasts in better rated hotels are impressive indeed but I rarely think I'd get good value for money being not very picky about food , specially morning one. Yes we can see some handsome specimens eating but the same can be said about street and any corner. My advice is when booking to read all options as sometimes adding breakfast may cost pittance or be even cheaper version - happened to me at Ambiance pre-covid and at Furama Sathorn in covid time , for some reason bigger rooms with breakfast could be booked cheaper than standard ones without. Dynamic pricing or oversight I guess

General Santos City or Gensan as it's called is known for its Tuna industry Every year they have the Tuna Festival first week of September I went mostly because I was visiting a ex boyfriend who had been to Australia and his wonderful family. I didn't see any crime or danger whatsoever, probably far safer there than walking in some Western cities during the day I got accosted 4 times yesterday in Sydney city for money with some aggressive beggars abusing me for ignoring them, and during my week in Gensan not one person asked for money ! I stayed at first in a expensive hotel ,forget the name...but it was a generic type place , beautiful lobby , staff calling you Sir etc ....but very "clinical" then being a cheap charlieband wanting to meet "normal" people I decided to move to the Red Doorz about 1000 pesos a night (650 baht where the young Filipino hosts were great and met wonderful travellers from Sweden etc It was clean and had a great security guard who sat out the front,a wonderful cafe where at 9pm they cooked me a delicious Filipino pisig pork meal The chef was a young brown skinned 24yo who asked 'you want me to bring it to your room? Lots and lots of guys on Grindr 😁and that's what I love about new places I'm getting older now maybe another 15-20 years left of life if I'm lucky ,I would rather see new places and experience more. Gosh MFJ if someone as nice and kind as you cannot explain this phenomenon, then the situation cannot be explained. We plan to stay mostly in HCMC but plan to take the train up to Nha Trang for a few days as well. We've been to VN each year now for the past 3 years so we are pretty comfortable there. We'd be happy for a single person (or another couple) join us, especially someone who has wanted to go there but, for whatever reason, hasn't gone yet. I'm not really a breakfast monster. I'm happy with a good (!) coffee and a fried egg and some fruits. If it suits me, I also like Thai food in the morning. When I'm in Jomtien I get all that (and much more) at my first choice hotel, Zing Resort & Spa. If I remember correctly, it's 200 baht (all you can eat). That's enough for me, I couldn't really enjoy an extensive breakfast a la Meridien. And there is still O Delices in Jomtien 😉

Tittle is misleading but was given to this trip by our member bkkmfj who accompanied me to Bangkok during this short, 2 days in Pattaya and 6 in Bangkok trip to Thailand last month. I think only terrorizing part were 3 hotel changes three days in row but I booked those before he decided to join in and to sweeten whole thing , all were walking distance from each other. Day 1 This time I arrived by KLM from Amsterdam and arrival time was great , at 9.30 in the morning. There was no line up to immigration at all, I just walked in to get stamped and had even option of choosing one of three officers. No waiting for luggage as I was with carry on only. Buying SIM card took few minutes and I found myself with almost 2 hours to kill before my Jomtien bus departure scheduled at noon. This trip I decided to try something new for me i.e. going to Pattaya straight from airport. With excess time I went to train station to exchange some money, then ate something in coupon restaurant by gate 8 and went to the booth to exchange my bus reservation for an actual ticked as instructed when booked on website. I got moment of enlightenment since it was 10.45 and asked if I can get seat on 11.00 am bus. Luckily , there was seat but I was charged extra 50 baht for changing reservation. Around 1 pm I was already marching to Agate hotel in Jomtien Complex where room was already waiting for me. After desoiling I went to 7/11 across the street for some goodies and decided to see N, my semi regular there at his massage place nearby. No sign of him, as I learned later he went to see his folks at home for few days but consolation was at hand at the same shop. T, whom I never got pleasure with before but got good feedback about from one of our members was at hand so of we went for 1.5 hr session, 400+1200 tip. I was happy to discover that recommendation was very accurate. Got his Line with intention of asking him for long time in case none of guys I was hoping to see at Dreamboys would not be available. Either tonight or tomorrow. It was darkening when I took songtaew to Boyztown where I had a dinner is one of Indian restaurants there. Chicken with cashews there had some distinctive taste likely due to use some Indian spices but it was great tasting anyways. Then to Copa to claim my room. As advised in some thread in spring , in Pattaya to avoid travelling between Jomtien and Boyztown I often rent cheap 2nd room at either end. Handy just in case either boy or myself doesn’t feel like traveling in the middle of the night. As mentioned above I hoped to see #36 and #37 at Dreamboys. #36 was my outstanding companion when I was there in January. I did not have pleasure with #37 then but saw him in the bar waiting for his customer and he was extremely handsome HUNK. On top of that I got recommendation from trusted member who had better luck and engaged him at Christmas time. After obtaining key I parked myself with beer on Copa’s terrace where shortly bkkmfj joined me for a chat and ironing our trip to Bangkok after tomorrow. We both noticed very attractive tattooed massage freelancer offering his services in the soi while sitting on his motorbike. At 10pm we went to Dreamboys , me full of hope and excited with anticipation but as soon as we sat down it was explained to me that neither boys I planned to see is no longer there. So much about dreaming about boys at home, first day and already 3 boys from the list MIA. Disappointed , after we emptied our drinks I suggested checking show at Xboys and it was great idea as show was very progressive with, ahem, some risky numbers. So I gave up hope of having somebody tonight and went to 7/11 to eat problem out with some sandwich. Then I got stubborn and while munching outside hotel I fired up Grindr and found somebody I liked. “ I sleep with you if you give me money “ was the answer to obvious question. How much ? 1500. Waiting for you said I. In 10 minutes he showed up. Not looking exactly as in profile with face less cute but built more substantial than I anticipated. So off we went to my room to check recent acquisition to my and his stamp collections. And it’s how day 1 was over.

From The Nation TAT highlights 11 ‘star countries’ as it sets out to rake in 200-billion-baht revenue from long-haul tourists The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on Wednesday unveiled its tourism promotion policy for the second half of the year, saying it would focus on attracting customers from long-distance markets to help the agency meet the government’s target of 3.5 trillion baht in tourism revenue this year. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, TAT’s deputy governor for Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Americas markets, said that long-distance markets for the rest of this year will be divided into two groups. The stable ones, or “star countries”, are Russia, the UK, the US, Germany and France. Tourists from these countries are already familiar with Thailand and tend to visit the kingdom before the end of the year, he said. TAT is also addressed six high-potential long-distance countries, which it terms “rising stars”, namely Canada, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Denmark and Saudi Arabia. These countries have shown increasing tourism revenues in recent years and are now benefitting from the government’s visa-free policy, said Siripakorn. “These six countries are considered rising stars due to good economic status and the potential to introduce more flights to Thailand,” he added. The deputy governor explained that TAT needs to penetrate potential markets in order to meet the government’s revenue target of 3.5 trillion baht from the tourism industry. This target is 500 billion baht higher than the TAT’s original target of 3 trillion baht. “Through tourism promotion campaigns, we hope to make around 200 billion baht from these 11 star countries in the second half of the year, moving us closer to securing the additional 500 billion baht,” he said. These promotions, to be carried out with airlines and hotels, aim to extend the stay in Thailand among tourists from long-haul countries, thus increasing their spending in the kingdom. For example, Air Canada is now offering a “Long Stay Airfare” programme, which offers discounts on air tickets for travellers who stay longer, while the airline’s boarding pass can be shown at participating hotels and restaurants to get discounts. “We planned these campaigns with partners well before the government announced its policy to lift visa requirements for 93 nations, starting from this month,” said Siripakorn. “As the policy allows tourists to stay here without a visa for up to 60 days, we discussed with partner airlines and hotels to adjust the promotional period accordingly to accommodate even longer stays.”

Le Meridien has a great breakfast, as does the W. The fantastic breakfasts are one of my reasons for going to Thailand.

This one should read - Hoi An - as that is the small Vietnam village that is famous for the lanterns - and it is only like 40 minutes away from Da Nang and is well worth it in my opinion. Hue is in the opposite direction and you would go there if you want to see Nguyen Dynasty Đại Nội Citadel. I went there with my Vietnam gay tour guide and it was an all day event. Day 5 Upon return to hotel from breakfast finally I got a chance to see bkkmfj and we spend hour or so trading news of last night and this morning. Today we are moving to De Arni, often overlooked hotel on Suriwong just across Siam Heritage hotel. We were lucky because rooms were already available so we made technical break till 2. De Arni is very good deal , rooms are sizable and everything works. I will jump the gun and say that no problem with visitors as well. Not sure why is rarely mentioned but definitely I can recommend it to all our budget conscious members as it’s very good deal and location hard to beat. At 2 pm we walked, oh no, marched as its boot camp to Senso. It used to be my favorite place in the area and always had goose bumps on approach, then post covid I neglected it a bit due to two not so stellar experiences but was happy to go there again and drag bkkmfj with me. After absence all guys were new to me and I picked up Leo, tall and muscular with unbuttoned shirt showing sexy chest. In the room two nice surprises , he just started there and his English is very good. Obviously trained in massage so I let him do his job before making certain moves. Muscular, well trained , bi-lingual and as it turned very soon also very romantic so we had very rewarding session and on departure I knew I will be back very soon.1490 for the room and min tip for session 1500 but obviously he deserved better. We watched a bit of show but S was hungry and I was anxious to show him me new stamps so again we crossed soi to Unesco where reader was dining again with his friend so we joined them at adjacent table. After that short march to hotel and so called happy reunion. Advantage S has in my eyes is that apart from being excellent trip companion is that I sense he likes me , strange as it sounds. It must be my left elbow or something but he does. Even now , writing that I’m smiling. In the morning 2nd round , bit more steamy as I like morning gymnastics and day 5, not exactly boring, was over.

Hi, I stayed there in July last year for several nights in Delhi. It was a guest house and was basically the top floor of a residential building. 4 or 5 guest bedrooms, each with ensuite, a central living / dining area and a outdoor terrace. There was a kitchen but that was used by the cook / caretaker. It was okay overall but possibly more glamorous / fresher looking in their advertising. They provided a cooked breakfast and you could order lunch and/or dinner from the cook if you wanted to. No mini bar fridge in room but you could use the big fridge in the dining area. It was in a residential area. Few blocks from the metro. Large shopping mall area about 10-15 min autorickshaw ride away (depending on traffic jams). I was the only guest at yhe time, but it was off season. It was good as a place to bring back hook ups from apps etc. Although not sure about anyone staying overnight as I just a had few day visitors. They also offered in-house massage, but none of the men they had available at the time did anything for me. I read some posts on gay chat forums in Delhi while I was there that suggested it was a bit expensive (for locals). It seemed ok to me but it was my first time in India. I did notice their tours were bit more pricey than other commercial options, such as for a day trip to the Taj MaMahal. And remember it's a guest house so doesn't necessarily have all the hotel frills. Would I stay there again - Probably not, but mainly because I realised from that trip that I needed a place with access to a pool to cope with the heat and humidity ... Also worth mentioning that the lift only went to the floor below and you had to walk up stairs to the top level. So if you are not good with stairs may be an issue.

I don't know how it is in other countries but in Mexico when I asked it was about 3 times of ST fee. Also spoon once remarked that LT in extremely good value in Thailand compared to Malaysia. Days of 3000 LT, in Bangkok bars at least, may be slowly coming to an end but still LT remains very good value. And believe me , that 10000 while shocking in terms of number of zeros seemed in line with what guy in question had to offer. I was not shocked, only inclined to stick to my self imposed limit of half of that price. Glad I did but still not 100% sure.\ I have personal story of missed opportunity which haunts me for 30 years. While on Easter Island I saw beautiful carving and price quoted seemed for me prohibitive at that time so I gave up. After thinking it over, I decided to splurge and returned to the store to be greeted by seller with annunciation it was sold 2 hrs ago. I did not notice that saving thus obtained helped me much in life and now usually if I like something or somebody I go for it.

One of the problems with Qatar, and Emirates, is that they are great till things go wrong, then they are very poor.

It is a huge country and it is hard to visit all the various areas that you want to see in one trip. Like visiting the USA. It also is somewhat inexpensive for a really nice coastal vacation. So, combining sight seeing with real leisure time, for you it is perfect. Also, every time you go, you run into people who tell you about another part of the country that you just have to visit…
