Day 5 Upon return to hotel from breakfast finally I got a chance to see bkkmfj and we spend hour or so trading news of last night and this morning. Today we are moving to De Arni, often overlooked hotel on Suriwong just across Siam Heritage hotel. We were lucky because rooms were already available so we made technical break till 2. De Arni is very good deal , rooms are sizable and everything works. I will jump the gun and say that no problem with visitors as well. Not sure why is rarely mentioned but definitely I can recommend it to all our budget conscious members as it’s very good deal and location hard to beat. At 2 pm we walked, oh no, marched as its boot camp to Senso. It used to be my favorite place in the area and always had goose bumps on approach, then post covid I neglected it a bit due to two not so stellar experiences but was happy to go there again and drag bkkmfj with me. After absence all guys were new to me and I picked up Leo, tall and muscular with unbuttoned shirt showing sexy chest. I promised to see him there next day or two. Anddy showed few minutes after us. We had nice time there as always, place is quite small so it always fun to see ladies there pretending they don’t hear what we are talking about . After that short march to hotel and so called happy reunion. Advantage S has in my eyes is that apart from being excellent trip companion is that I sense he likes me , strange as it sounds. It must be my left elbow or something but he does. Even now , writing that I’m smiling. In the morning 2nd round , bit more steamy as I like morning gymnastics and day 5, not exactly boring, was over.

This subject attracted some interest in a more general discussion of Bangkok. So here goes. What are posters' preferences for breakfast? Room only plus 7 11? or , ahem, a certain place in Patpong? or a lavish spread? I only have daily company when i'm in Thailand and so I particularly enjoy a relaxed breakfast with P. And quickie reviews? Tarntawan's breakfast is always enjoyed, particularly since it changed to a buffet plus cooked options. Agate is fine for P, who always chooses Thai options, and we like eating opposite the waterfall. The most disappointing? Aonang Villas in Krabi, the most expensive hotel we've ever stayed in. Limited and over-priced. Very over-priced. The best setting? Golden Beach, also in Krabi. Almost on the beach. I only eat what used to be called a continental-style breakfast- that is, no cooked dishes- but I still want the use of a decent toaster and a variety of jams and fruit juices. The best ? Chiang Mai's Amora, a 4* place near Thapae. Larger than any other places we stay in and so with a lot of customers and consequently an enormous choice. And well-priced, too. A final question; is there anywhere in Thailand where you can get decent bacon? and, more importantly for me, top-quality coffee? The best I 've had was in a gay guesthouse in Patong, the Rendezvous. French ownership , predictably. And, surprisingly, Zing in JC where we ate on a few occasions when Agate wasn't offering breakfast. Charming service, too.

Hotmale had about 12 to 15 guys. Similar small set-up as Banana Bar. But all shows are performed by the Hotmale guys themselves. Few customers on a Friday night. Lots of diva ladyboys singing but the audience loves them, especially a group of 4 drunk Taiwanese customers seated at the back one particular night. They were singing along enthusiastically and waving the lights in their handphones as if they were attending a concert. Many guys at Good Boy - 30 to 40 all packed into the tiny bar. I was there for 3 nights and went away with 2 different offs on 2 nights - one Vietnamese and one Laos.

Banana Bar had few guys on stage. Fewer than 10. Average size guys. Show starts at 9.30pm or when there's enough customers. Customers are mostly straight tourist couples or groups. During my visit, I even saw a lesbian farang couple. Show includes shower show as there is a shower with glass screen at back corner of stage. But boy performances are outnumbered by the diva ladyboy singing. There's also 2 male heartthrob singers. What I didn't like is the performers going around audience asking for tips. I was at Banana Bar only once on an early Friday night. The bar seems successful as it is targeted at customers who want to watch a show. Freshboys is the opposite of Banana Bar. It only has a few diva ladyboy singing. There's a shower show same as Banana Bar. These are the only two bars in Bangkok with shower show and even the cheoropgraphy and music are similar! Freshboys has lots of big cock shows including the cock hitting the metal pole. I can confirm that the guys don't use their knees to knock the pole and make the loud hitting sound. It's really their cocks hitting the pole! Ouch! Many many guys at Freshboys. About 30 to 40 every night. What I like about Freshboys is that the guys line up in ascending number when they stand on stage e.g. 1, 2. 3 etc. So it helps with remembering the numbers of the guys. At other bars, the numbers seem random. My one complaint about Freshboys is that it is very dark. Many customers at every show. But most leave after show and don't off the guys. Waiters can be rather direct in asking for tips. Majority of guys and waiters are Vietnamese. I have one regular guy (number 25) who recently started work at Freshboys last week after being away from the scene for many months (he used to be at Dreamboys last year but he was let go after the bar only wanted Thais to work). He's doing well. In just his first week, he has been getting drinks, tips and offs from Chinese customers because he's the only one in the bar who can speak Mandarin. His best friend taught him many useful phrases. I tease him because I know in reality, his Chinese is so limited!

Day 4 continued It was darkening when we decided to go to soi 4 for dinner in G'Bangkok where I was greeted cordially by the owner and across that street by veteran barker at Banana , short guy with hat hiding his balding hairline. Then to Foodland where we met reader who landed yesterday and spent good 2 hours trading news. Expecting guest tonight I bought some beers and took them to hotel. For tonight we scheduled Moonlight and going there we took walk by still then closed Tawan. There were at least 6-7 their boys on the corner , no doubt hoping for some hiring. In Moonlight we were greeted enthusiastically, they same way bank employees are greeting newest ATM to be installed. Wais and handshakes from few mamasans, smiles from several boys on the scene and in audience. It took us till 10.30 am to move from horizontal to vertical and of course we missed hotel breakfast so after sprucing up, we went for breakfast again to Foodland concluding that way day 4 and half mark of my trip at the same stroke.

I was in Madrid for 10 days in earlier this month and visited the Gran Via Sauna. It's located right in the middle of the city, two blocks north of the Main Street, Gran Via, in the Chueca neighborhood. I visited on a Wednesday evening about 6pm. There were only 3 other customers but at least 8 working guys, most 20s/30s. There is a very nice full bar/lounge and a huge number of rooms, perhaps 30, over two floors and available for use at no charge. This one should read - Hoi An - as that is the small Vietnam village that is famous for the lanterns - and it is only like 40 minutes away from Da Nang and is well worth it in my opinion. Hue is in the opposite direction and you would go there if you want to see Nguyen Dynasty Đại Nội Citadel. I went there with my Vietnam gay tour guide and it was an all day event. I love the bacon that is served with the American breakfast at Tinnie's https://www.tinniespiespattaya.com/ here in Jomtien - just outside of the Jomtien Supertown Complex. This is an Australian restaurant and the bacon is thick and big and juicy.

I liked the Tarntawn breakfast when I stayed there which was mostly eggs on toast with some cold cuts plus fresh fruit and coffee and of course a read of the morning paper. The Raya was ok but a bit lacking in some aspects as it would be eggs on toast with a few of those little sausages and fresh fruit and of course coffee but alas the last 2 times I was there no morning paper. No matter where it was there is always a good walk around Lumphini Park after breakfast.

From Thailand News Agency The Constitutional Court has unanimously ruled that the law allowing spouses to sue for damages due to adultery is unconstitutional. The court found that Section 1523, paragraph two, of the Civil and Commercial Code, which permits a husband to claim compensation from a man involved with his wife and a wife to claim compensation from a woman openly displaying an affair with her husband, contradicts the Constitution. The Ombudsman filed a petition with the Constitutional Court, arguing that the language of this provision was problematic. It allowed a husband to sue the “adulterer” of any gender without considering whether the wife was a willing participant or whether the affair was conducted openly. In contrast, a wife could only sue another woman, and only if the affair was openly displayed. This was seen as discriminatory and against Section 27 of the Constitution, which ensures equal rights for men and women and prohibits gender-based discrimination. Celebrity lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanan stated that starting from the court’s decision, for the next 360 days, legally registered wives will not be able to sue another woman for having an affair with their husband. On the other hand, President Biden, in one weeks time traveled to France for D Day observances, delivered several speeches, held bilateral conferences, then traveled to Italy for the G7 meeting, delivered an address, held sideline meetings with other heads of state ... then flew to California to participate in a fundraiser that was part speech then interview. Donald Trump could never maintain that pace, let alone honor and respect fallen soldiers.

I've stayed at Airbnbs in several places around the world over the years, but none recently. I'd say 90% of them were excellent. But I think some of it is luck of the draw. Using properties of "super hosts" seems to be helpful. But these days you see more and more stories about problems with them and weird extra charges. There's also the ethics of how they skew the local housing market. The building I live in has a strict no Airbnb policy. These days I am more likely to stay in a hotel or serviced apartment.

We went to a drag show in Anchorage last Saturday, and I encountered a couple of customs I hadn't encountered before, certainly not in the US. The first was that the entry fee was listed as $5 for those identifying as LGBTQ+, and $20 for those identifying as straight/allies. I wonder if such practices are even legal. This practice does bother me somewhat. It certainly doesn't seem to promote a spirit of equality. Most of the crowd were clearly LGBTQ+, but there were three couples in which the men made a point to lavish their female guests with PDA's. I wonder if they paid the higher fee, just to avoid identifying at LGBTQ+. The 2nd thing I'd never seen before (but my fiance had), was a drag king, who hosted the festivities. Whereas I'm not a long time type, I like to sleep alone with both eyes closed....so I don't get the paying for someone to sleep, but if someone I trust and lives far from my hotel asks to stay, I tell them, don't worry, I won't charge you 1/2 of the hotel room......usually where we're staying is better than where they live, as they've told me many times. Colombia has proven very fun and great sex, good restaurants...no off fees, overpriced drinks....did I mention great sex, and cheap flights from Mexico. Guys charge from 100k-150k COP which is like 1000-1300 THB mostly, there's a few that charge/ask for 250k COP = 2200THB but they are model types or onlyfan guys. Another thing I noticed is Vinapu and friends do quite a bit or marching 😛

Day 2 Turned out not a bad meeting. He was not in rush in the morning which I like and was clearly happy with his tip and immediately asked about repeat tonight. I was politely noncommitted , if only because T suggested tonight he will be free to come. He left at 9.30 , declined hotel breakfast invitation so I had it alone. It started raining but I promised bkkmfj I will buy tickets to Swampy for noon tomorrow so off I went, it was just rain , not tropical deluge. There’s bank by bus stion so I went there to exchange 100 euro and asked to get it all , 4400 in red notes to which they happily obliged. I need something to stuff my multiple pockets I guess. When approaching hotel surprisingly T emerged from the alley on his way to the shop. I gave him 300 massage fee and asked him to come to my room in few minutes. We both were happy with such reunion. Of course I secured his presence for long time tonight. He promised to show up at end of his shift after closing the shop. Then jet lag reminded about it’s existence and I slept rest of day till dark. Next step was another trip to Boyztown hoping that tattooed hunk , noticed last evening, will be offering his massages today as well. If I stay in Pattaya longer I guess I know what I will be spending my time with. Not only I liked him but also was impressed by personality , body and skills. After that memorable session I went to BoyzBoyzBoyz for a show welcomed my mamasan who recognized me from days of old and mentioned names of at least two boys I offed from there in the past. Scene was packed but with exception of two bare-chested, all boys were fully dressed, jeans and long sleeves. Bar was ¾ full , mostly with usual Chinese visitors and quite a few boys were sitting with girls and drinking. Another reminder that this is boy, not gay bar. Art, one of bare chested got a tip , another went to guy who tried to get my attention by smiling in my direction, both by way of patented Vinapu tuck. Show was similar to one I saw multiple times but BBoys were impressive as always. I was set for tonight but with off fee of 1000 baht even if I weren’t I’d not be in mood to off from there. While going to songtaew I noticed impressive hunk outside of ABomb. That would be worth 1000 baht off fee perhaps. I arrived in Agate few minutes before agreed time and T showed up in few minutes, suggested he will go and buy some beers and managed to do it somewhere even if it was past midnight deadline. I decided not to ask any questions where . We had great time together, so great that when I waked up it was 11.28 am.

It's an interesting question. My sense is Zendaya is considered very attractive. The script was pretty clear how both of the guys found her character extremely hot. I had a question about the garbage that was blowing around in some of the Atlanta scenes. That baffled me. I get it, the weather was windy. But so much trash blowing around in multiple scenes did not seem realistic. Not a big deal. Just curious about it. I thought the movie was good but not crazy good like some claim.

Toyboys itself is also currently full of Chinese customers, male and female; something they have deliberately encouraged over the last few years. Its signage is part Chinese/part English, and, importantly, they have at least one Chinese speaking junior mamasans to welcome them inside and keep an eye on them inside in terms of drinks and choosing boy companions off the stage, etc. The consequence is that they are usually busy and bustling most nights, whereas elsewhere in BoyzTown the boys are reporting a dearth of customers. My boyfriend is based at Pikky Bar and frequently video calls me from his 'welcome' table out in the soi and showing me scenes of an empty soi. BoyzBoyzBoyz opposite him is busy he reports, 'but all Chinese', he says. His bar and others around him seem all but empty. My spy in Classic Boy Bar says they are also hurting inside through lack of customers. Toyboys seems to have achieved critical mass at the moment. A steady flow of customers encourages a stage-full of near naked boys who get drinks and offs, which in turn encourages the customers to come in, etc. etc. My little spies in the bar say that there is also a steady flow of 'new' boys to bolster and refresh the numbers on stage each night. And, ironically, drink prices at Toyboys and BoyzBoyzBoyz are eye-wateringly high compared to their neighbours.

I have found the Southern Islands best for meeting Pinoy guys for sex and companionship. I have had no problems over 15 years meeting guys in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and other places there. I am a Daddy, did most of my visits when I was 65 to 75. I am now 81. I mostly met guys using Romeo then maintained contact using Facebook or Skype. Now I understand Grinder and Whatsup or the Chat Apps. The mobile companies in the PH provide Facebook for free, so guys prefer it to avoid using their Data or Load. But that does not stop them from sharing Pics and Videos. I enjoy traveling and used to be more active, able to go hiking, surfing, canyoneering. In the past few years it has been more limited to finding a beautiful beach or touring some new places, or going to one of the many Festivals. I usually invited a guy to travel with me, for 3-5 days. And the guys are always up for a Free Trip. Also a Free Dinner, Movie or Clubing. Or to just come over for a short time. I have paid more when I hire a massage guy to come meet me. Usually 1000P, which is USD20. Now the muscle guys are asking 1500P to 2000P for short time. Traveling places, even between islands is easy. Many flights on Cebu Pacific Air, USD20 to USD35 each way. And Air-Con Buses are available for USD6 to USD10. Ferries are also avaiable between all the main Cities, but take much longer. I have never attempted to drive myself in the PH. I stay in better hotels or in a Condo rented on AirBnB. The cost per night is usually USD45 to USD55. However I know good places are available at USD30 to USD35. I find eating out is quite reasonable. You can eat at McD for USD5 and a very nice restaurant is usually USD30 to USD40 for two persons. I have not found any good Pick-up Bars in the PH. Tried the ones in Manila years ago and nothing began happening until 1am. And drinks were expensive. There are some Macho Dancer and Massage but I never found them anything like in Thailand. Most Cities have several good Clubs or Discos. Again they do not get started untill after 10pm and go LATE!! Mainly you should plan to take 1 or 4-5 guys to the Club, buying a Bottle and Mixers, and dancing the night away!!! Over the years I have made many great friends from the PH. I meet them each trip. And help them money-wise. But it is not like in Thailand where the guys expect a stated Fee for Service. I guess for me it is more like having a "son" rather than a "boy friend". But AGAIN PH guys are looking for a long-term relationship and will raise the possibility of marriage... SO go to the South!! You can expect to meet guys before your trip or just have hooks ups while you are there. ENJOY!!!
