Bangkok massage

Welcome to the forum ! Discovering great unknown is one of pleasures of travelling. When comes to massages in Thailand you can count on full spectrum , from skilful and legitimate i.e Prime to places where there's not much pretence of massage of guy may be naked from the start and everything in between. There are tons of places from upscale and costly to economical and somewhat unkempt an they all are waiting for you to sample them. Start with Arena in Silom Plaza, there boys will present themselves for you to chose one, mamasan Art is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are user friendly and you get best of both worlds, bit of proper massage with smooth transition to debaucherous part. Before session you will shower alone but after session boy will shower with you. Leave shy part of you on the street level. after that sample one of numerous outlets in soi 6 and along Suriwong including mentioned already Prime which stands out for being legitimale massage ONLY although in Thailand one never knows where it may lead. In other places you may or may not get lucky but certainly you will have fun and feel the cock. Next step is 25 minutes trip by BTS (overhead rail) to Saphan Kwai area and sample one of several places there, well discussed in threads here for example : https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/39468-massage-shops-on-sutthisan-winitchai-rd/page/11/#comments To move to more luxurious and costly experience try either Senso in Sala Daeng in Silom area or travel to Sukhumvit soi 43 and sample Jey Spa there where hunks abound and "shy" disappeared from vocabulary. After that you will be an expert and start dispensing advices here but not before you report your findings for us in the forum. OBN6 points -

The "system" in Japanese massage businesses is not always consistent. They vary from one shop to another. I don't know what your experiences have been, so it's not easy for me to explain how different Thailand is compared to your Japanese experiences - in other words, what's your baseline to which one should compare? Washing the client is indeed common in Japan - but that is really a manifestation of the Japanese concern about cleanliness; it is rarely done erotically. My experience in Japan is that some places have boys who can actually do a massage. Others use the term "massage" to mean something else. And some shops offer a service that is sort of in-between. Therefore I am not sure what you have in your mind as the Japanese style of services. However, your mention of body to body perhaps indicates the latter. Ditto, in Bangkok there is thai massage, there is oil massage, there is sort-of-massage, there is "massage", "four hands massage" and there is "Oh my God, massage!" The service style varies hugely from one shop to another. The quality of facilities also vary hugely, and in fact, most Thai facilities (and Vietnamese) are better than Japanese, though the Japanese facilities are still a thousand times better than what one finds in ("shouldn't this have been condemned by the Fire Department?") Kuala Lumpur or Manila. My blog has numerous posts describing many of these places and the "system" that comes with them. Some do not end in sexual activity. Regular visitors seldom realise how complicated the Bangkok scene may took to new visitors. So, let's get you better advice. But to begin, pick a category that most interests you and then the regulars on this board will guide you where to go. 1. Professional quality massage by trained and certified therapists. They remain in their clothes throughout the session. They ensure that your private parts are always covered and there is no touching. 2. Near-professional quality massage by trained therapists. They remain in their clothes, but may be prepared to give clients a handjob, after negotiating the rate (done in whispers) inside the room. 3. Near-professional quality massage by trained therapists. They remain in their clothes, but may be prepared to take them off and do considerably more, after negotiating the rate inside the room. 4. Hand movements that look a bit like massage, but are often directed at the nether regions in order to elicit arousal. The boy (I don't call them 'therapists' from this point on) is dressed or semi-dressed and may negotiate the rate inside the room if the shop's minimum tip rate is set too low. Once an agreeable rate is mutually accepted, the clothing tends to be flung off and he would likely climb onto the massage table (or floor mattress, if it's a low-budget kind of place) 5. Shops that make a clear a minimum tip that is higher than the "course" fee or room fee. The boy moves his hands to mimic a bit of massage (some boys don't even bother with this much pretence of a massage), but are often directed at the nether regions in order to elicit arousal. The room is likely to have a bed instead of a massage table. The boy begins the session either minimally dressed or totally nude. There is no in-room negotiation unless the client asks for something unusual - though more likely the boy simply says "cannot" to unusual requests, rather than negotiate. Body-to-body is not as common in Thailand as in Japan, Vietnam, Kuala Lumpur or Manila (where it is called "Nuru massage"). In Bangkok, you may get it in category 5 places. Another thing about Thailand is that categories 4 and 5 have wide pricing differentials, even if two shops offer similar services. The pricing differential is traceable to the several factors including (a) standard of facilities, (b) boys' physiques, (c) whether in tourist areas (thus aimed at tourists) or in more local parts of the city.4 points -

I am assuming you mean the bars and massage places on the Silom Surawong area, and not the massage parlours further out, e.g. in Saphan Khwai or Onnut. If I were in your shoes, I would definitely move to a hotel in the same area, for one big reason: it's so much easier to pop back to the hotel room to wash up or pick up more cash before hitting another place, whereas depending on taxis or rides will put you at the mercy of Bangkok's notorious traffic. Even if you learn to use the light rail system, this system stops slightly before midnight. This map shows several hotels in the area : https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/2023/12/07/map-of-silom-surawong-area-december-2023/3 points -

I've always wondered why those myriads of same-same bars don't somehow manage to merge their "talents", and thus for the area to truly become a "SUPERtown" rather than a collection of hopelessly uneconomic shops. They need economy-of-scale and they need to have variety and they need to have a decent environment. Those characteristics cost money, real money; I am really surprised that more bars have not closed in JC. The reason that Jim's BBB was successful is that he understood this concept and thus BT grew and prospered. And I totally agree about the "numbness" of the current concept -- "sit and drink and gawk" -- that only goes so far to keep people's interest. You need energy and expectation and entertainment. I agree with GIP that gay bars are an anachronism, they are a throwback to the "hush-hush" era where we were all constrained and needed a place to "be free". Japan is a good example of this. In those days of ore when I frequented bars in Shinjuku and Shibuya, the bars were small and you needed to be cleared by an all-knowing door person to even gain access to the bar. Once inside the "host" would then introduce you to each of the guys in the small (10?) crowd. It was because most of the guys in those bars were heading for the last train home to their wives, so you had to be fast!2 points

I understand what you are saying as I'm fond of of big rooms too ( floridarob calls me 'room size queen" ) but fortunately for my pocket ones like Raya, Furama Silom , Furama Sathorn XClusive , Quart SalaDaeng or even Baan Silom in soi 3 have similarly or even better sized room for fraction of the price. I understand difference in luxury and overall ambiance but still I rather spend that extra 5000 baht for the night with prime beef than for admiring prime view from 37th floor while donning hotel provided silk gown2 points

I just spent a long weekend in SP (during which I never even made it to Lagoa) so if anyone would like my recommendation on SP garotocomlocal tops who bbk just let me know. With over 1000 listings in SP it’s a pretty time consuming process (compared to some other escort sites garotocomlocal makes it unusually time consuming as it doesn’t even have the guys fill in their basic stats) I’m looking for tall guys (min 1.80) so I end up contacting a lot of guys that if only it had these sort of fill in fields. In many ways, it seems surprising the low percentage of guys who even respond to the initial contact (long before any talk of condoms) I have a Brazilian number and a friendly WhatsApp pic, yet I would say less than 20% reply to the initial inquiry (a bit more among the “destaque” ads that pay a lot for the higher-up position): “Olá, boa noite. Tudo bem? Estou no SP, vi seu anúncio e me interessei. Por favor, deixe-me saber se Vc está disponível hoje/amanhã, bem como seu caché. obrigado!” incidentally if anyone has some good recommendations for Rio i have far fewer (as does garotoscomlocal with only 400something compared to SP 1000+) and would really welcome some recommendations. when I was here in the other seasons, I would stay in Rio only Monday through Wednesday and then escape to the not as hot temperatures and lower humidity of SP. But now I have the next 10 days here in Rio. (A bit unluckily, unseasonable temperatures as high as summer around 30 every day are predicted throughout the period, although it is true, the humidity is less) I should mention that Really the best guy That I have met in the last year in terms of pure sex, I was lucky to meet him a couple of times in Rio before he rather predictably ran off to Europe (London), where, as of a few days ago he remains, but if anyone finds themself looking for an amazing Brazilian top in London (no doubt at more than the 350 reais I was lucky to get him at) lmk2 points -
I was always at the impression that Tawan/The One's type of boys has always has been the big, beefy, chunky, bit chub, bulking muscle men (whether on season or off season). I love Asian Musclemen 😍😍😍. But yeah sucks to see them just in the corner playing with their mobiles instead of showing off what they got on stage. Hope their operations get more traction and for them to up their shows like before. Otherwise it will be hard to survive with the bars big/muscle men niche in predominantly Twink offerings of Thailand.2 points

one of our non-contributing members was also there tonight (Tuesday) and his impressions reported to me were more uplifting . There was 5 customers for the show so I guess he was much later than 10pm. Show was brief , about 20 minutes but nevertheless show it was. He was happy because one of guys he was fond of in the deep past suddenly reappeared. By his admission and he knows me very well as we went to Tawan together on many occasion there were at least four guys I liked in the past including twinkish masseur and hunkish waiter and some new guy he suspects I'd like him as well. So here's some hope for the bar and their boys admirers although for bar to survive it needs much bigger client base than just few customers.2 points

Hi Marc308, What is your opinion on the current format in year 2024 of BBB ? I agree that back in the day, Jim got it right - BBB was the proper good anchor to Boyztown - especially with the 9pm marching parade of the delicious sexy guys. It was truely tantalizing. Nowadays, BBB has become boring - as it is primarily focused on the Chinese tourist bus trade with screaming women. The sexy guy parade is long gone. Boyztown has lost its former excitement.1 point -

Trump, the only president since Hoover to have fewer people working in America the day he left office, than on the day he started his presidency. Beyond the lack of morals, the self-dealing, the personal enrichment, it's about the economy. The USA doesn't need to suffer through Trump blowing up the deficit with his tax cut for billionaires and ... he didn't really accomplish anything else. Change hotel?
vinapu reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
I think we have similar priorities. Location is key. Room size isn't all that important so long as it isn't cramped. (Quarter Hotel's standard rooms are cramped). Fancy amenities feel wasteful to me. Functionality is important too. I was once given an upgrade at Le Siam. When I got to the room, I saw that it had a bathtub. I dislike bathtubs and plastic curtains and more so if I am planning to host a boy and shower together. So I went downstairs again and asked the reception to reverse the upgrade. Give me back a normal or ordinary room (that's what they called it). These have shower stalls big enough for two. It took a while for them to understand my request.1 point -

That's the beauty of life, we put our unique price tags on various things. Price notwithstanding, I'm not fan of luxury digs when travel for practical reason - I noticed to tend to spend more times indoor in better places while in bare bone ones I'd like to shower, shave, have a tea and get out. On another hand I'd rather overpay and be close to main attractions than save money and bed in some remote , yet cheap alley. Drawing a line is a great idea as on vacations we tend to react more impulsively being generally in good mood. On last trip I got an offer from absolutely stunning guy with personality and English proficiency to match for 10000 overnight. He did not budge and for 3 days I was nursing an idea of succumbing to his charms but since it doubled my line I decided to keep my limits. Not sure I did right thing but I'm sure I did it right- savings on 5 stars thus obtained financed 3 meetings with 4 stars guys.1 point

fully agree. Perhaps they did not take diligence about getting new blood and guys started to get weight, all the same like their clients. But from what I hear very recently , not all hope is lost. Budget is the primary concern, and there just isn't any good flight deals around the Christmas period. Hotel prices too, tend to be more expensive over this period, even in non-christian countries. Basically, take a good price at any other time of the year, and double it. So to keep the budget, I think I need to be looking closer to Europe. Completely agree. And judging by the demand hikes around that time of year, many others also agree1 point

I don't see Trump showing up for the debates, anymore than he followed up with "wanting to testify". Yesterday he was speaking in Nevada without a teleprompter. From the podium he starts shouting that he was going to stiff yet another small time contractor and not pay yet another bill. He was even more lost than he usually is, rambling on about sharks and getting electrocuted in a sunken boat. It'd be insane anywhere, but in Nevada - sharks in the desert. At the debate Biden will attempt to talk policy. We'll see if the moderators and/or organizers will have an empty chair there for the Former President.1 point -

lookin reacted to RockyRoadTravel for a topic
Biden keeps getting better polling news. The Former President's hate is a powerful emotion, it's also exhausting for Americans and few people want to return to the Former President's complete incompetence (disregard, indifference) during the pandemic. There's been real accomplishments over the last four years - imagine a President that actually delivered on infrastructure investments. Did I want Biden to run again - no I didn't. And at the same time - credit where credit is due. Job growth is much stronger than under Trump. The stock market is higher. Trade deficit with China is decreasing, where it was increasing under Trump. The USA government even made $500+ million dollars on trading in oil - sell high and buy low.1 point -
use macaroni's enlightened advice and move closer to the action. Tons of hotels in the area suiting all budgets and with short walk to sinful sois and no problem with visitors. My favorite are Le Siam on Convent (across the Silom from soi 4 ), Baan Silom in soi 3 , across the Silom from soi 6 and Raya , across the Suriwong from Moonlight bar . For more upscale experience you have Crown Plaza, Le Meridien, Pullman G and Amara. For budget options there's Wall Street Inn , Pula Silom and Nantra Silom. Customers are invited to a closet space behind the bar where their cuppa will be made specially for them. Thailand being promoted as the ideal home for polysexual people
Ruthrieston reacted to reader for a topic
NOTE — Polysexuality is a sexual orientation, where a person feels attracted to many, but not all genders. Polysexuality is not to be confused with pansexuality, where a person feels attraction towards all genders, or with bisexuality, where a person feels attraction towards only two genders. Wikipedia From The Nation Thanks to its friendly environment, high acceptance and widely positive attitude towards LGBTQIA+, Thailand stands out as the world’s leading destination for polysexual people, not just tourists but also entrepreneurs or investors, bringing huge opportunities for the kingdom to thrive. This firm belief was reinforced on Sunday, when Borderless.lgbt, the world’s first dedicated health and wellness cloud, announced the launch of “Pink Plus Economy”, a new initiative focusing on an ecosystem to support LGBTQIA+ communities in Thailand in terms of living, family planning and retirement. The move, supported by Thailand Privilege, a state-owned enterprise dedicated to long-term visas, was expected to create new opportunities and developments in various LGBTQIA+-related business sectors. The group’s confidence in Thailand stems from its National Legislative Assembly’s recent legalisation of same-sex marriage, as well as upcoming policies to support LGBTQIA family planning in Thailand. The legislation is awaiting senators’ votes. If approved, Thailand will become the third nation in Asia to allow same-sex marriage, following Taiwan and Nepal. Wei Siang Yu, chairman and founder of Borderless Healthcare Group, expressed his excitement about the upcoming Thailand same-sex marriage bill. He pointed out that the bill will position the kingdom as a major centre for global DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives. He explained that the Pink Plus Economy has evolved from the Pink Economy, with new developments in inclusive medical tourism, retirement living, family planning support, pink tech incubation, and pink film virtual production in Thailand. Yu encouraged all Thais and international LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs to join the group’s supportive Pink Plus Economy programmes, noting that the group expects to be the central platform for working LBGTQIA+ around the world while also facilitating their access to better work-life balance here in Thailand. From Thai PBS World Singapore Airlines said Tuesday it has offered $10,000 compensation to passengers who suffered minor injuries on a flight hit by violent turbulence last month and will discuss higher payouts with those more badly hurt. A 73-year-old British man died and several other passengers and crew onboard flight SQ321 from London suffered skull, brain and spine injuries during the terrifying high-altitude ordeal. The pilots diverted the Singapore-bound Boeing 777-300ER carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew to Bangkok, where the injured were taken to hospitals. In a statement on Tuesday, the airline said it had sent out emails offering US$10,000 in compensation to passengers who sustained minor injuries during the incident. “For those who sustained more serious injuries… we have invited them to discuss a compensation offer to meet each of their specific circumstances when they feel well and ready to do so,” the airline said. “Passengers medically assessed as having sustained serious injuries, requiring long-term medical care, and requesting financial assistance are offered an advance payment of US$25,000 to address their immediate needs. “This will be part of the final compensation that these passengers will receive.” In addition, the carrier said it would refund the airfares of all passengers on the flight, including those who were not injured. “All passengers will also receive delay compensation in accordance with the relevant European Union or United Kingdom regulations,” it said. Under the Montreal Convention, airlines are liable for damgages for the injury or death of passengers while on an airplane. Singapore Airlines earlier gave Sg$1,000 ($740) to each passenger departing Bangkok to their final destination to cover their their immediate expenses. It has also been shouldering the medical expenses of the injured passengers, and had arranged for their family members to fly to Bangkok when it was requested. “SIA remains committed to supporting the affected passengers who were on board SQ321,” the airline said. Singpore’s transport ministry has said a sudden 54-metre (177-foot) altitude drop caused unbelted passengers on the flight to be thrown violently inside the cabin. The aircraft experienced a “rapid change” in gravitational force, or G-force, while the plane was passing over the south of Myanmar, the ministry said citing a preliminary report by Singapore’s Transport Safety Investigation Bureau. The investigation team included experts from the TSIB, the US National Transportation Safety Board, the US Federal Aviation Administration and the plane’s manufacturer Boeing.
