I assume @sydneyboy1 was referring mostly to gogo bars when he wrote "bar crawl of all the usual haunts" and finding them "very quiet and dispiriting". When I triangulate his report with those of others - more positive sounding - the picture I get is that the gogo bars are their own worst enemies unable to attract customers despite increased foreigner traffic into the country. Now, why am I not surprised?2 points -
My sources (massage boys from Soi 6) assure me that they were in evidence last night. As I enjoyed a beer at a bar in Surawong about 11p.m., two adjacent tables were full of young and attractive foreigners who had just arrived. Gays, particularly the younger ones, are not confining themselves to just the traditional gay bar haunts. They going wherever it suits them.2 points

Here in Pattaya, due to the popularity of these types of deaths, they have coined the phrase, "Pattaya Flying Club". Even my lawyer, when I solicited for him to prepare my Thai Last Will & Testament - told me to be cautious to share the beneficiary list with those listed to avoid any temptations to join the "Pattaya Flying Club". Crazy stuff.... https://www.thairomeo.com/pattaya-flying-club.html https://www.reddit.com/r/Pattaya/comments/eogq6l/is_the_pattaya_suicide_club_just_a_meme/ https://thethaiger.com/news/national/thai-american-teen-becomes-latest-addition-to-pattaya-flying-club2 points -

Fox News and Pirro. https://www.mediaite.com/tv/embarrassing-is-an-understatement-foxs-jeanine-pirro-falls-for-fake-attack-on-biden-sitting-in-an-imaginary-chair/ But Pirro does not seem to possess the critical thinking skills to properly ascertain this fake clip as an obviously unfair attack. In fact, she’s just naive enough to amplify it via social media with commentary completely lacking in any self-awareness. “THIS is the man representing us. THIS is how we are being perceived as a nation. Our commander-and-chief trying to sit in an imaginary chair on stage in front of the entire world,” Pirro posted on X. “Lights on, but Biden’s not home. Embarrassing is an understatement….THERE IS NO CHAIR‼️‼️”2 points -

Barcelona - Thermas: Summary of Info
revengeboo reacted to 12is12 for a topic
Hi Guys, Before my hopefully forthcoming (not first) visit, I summarized the relevant info from the previous 12 months. [Maybe management would find fit to pin it for future uninitiated.] Anyone so inclined, please correct, criticise or add. https://www.saunaspases.com/saunathermas/ Timetable: Friday – Monday: 15:00-23:00 Tuesday – Wednesday: 24 hours Thursday: 7:00-23:00. Best hours to visit: 16:00 – 20:00 [Splash disco party: a late night event, with DJ etc. Not attended particularly by the "boys". More of a general sauna evening.] Room Rates: Entry – 22 eur; on Wednesday – 19.5 Private rooms rates: 15 – 18 – 20 – 25 (levels of luxury). Speedoo: You use one of the free cabins with a small bench and plastic covered mattress, or you rent a larger room with a bed+sheets and light (not dimmed light like in the cabins). On busier nights, might have to wait for them. Riobard: You have the option of 2 towels or 1 towel plus a large terry cloth robe on check-in. If you spread out the robe on a vinyl mattress ()not routinely swabbed between sessions, you get more cloth coverage over it. Another tip: If you rent a room that is put on your check-out tab, you have it for an hour. Write down the time from the clock at reception, making sure the attendant knows you are aware, and optionally keep the key for 55-59 minutes because you may want to fit in at least one more session. Rookie mistake is to hand back the key after 20-30 minutes and then regret it. [The light dimmers generally don’t function well.] Providers: Rate – 50 eur for 20-30 mnts; not including cum. Speedoo: If you want to spend an hour with a guy – you better ask him upfront, so he can price accordingly. I would expect some of the guys to agree to 50 Euro for 1 hour just to close the deal, but with no actual intention of spending that much time with you in the cabin (lots of excuses can come up why a session is ended prematurely). Most “boys” are Latinos from SA; especially Brazil and Venezuela; also east-Europeans. On Saturday and Sunday there’s an influx of only-weekend “boys”. Most are in the 7-inch range and thick enough. Honorably recommended here: Bruno, Paulo, Sergio, Costas, and repeatedly – Nicholas (Chile). Three Recent Impressions: Chucky: Lots of guys there, mostly South American although a couple of East Europeans. Had most of the guys approach, some very handsome and some just big cocks. Lots of Brazilians as usual and some very handsome. Definitely was more choice than last year. AndyUK: Always found this place to be nice, hassle free, great bar area and sexy guys. Top notch. keepItReal: Providers were friendly and almost all of them stopped by to say hello. Still, couldn't find an enthusiastic bttm. Mostly guys were tops or just looking for quick oral fun. Had a good time chatting with some of the providers and they seemed to be in good spirits and quite welcoming. Speedoo: The guys will get condom and lube from the bar in the basement when they agree to go with you to a cabin or room. I don’t recall if you get charged for this when you leave; presumably you do, but it’s only a few Euros. Probably only 1 type standard condoms available. I haven’t seen guys asking for special sized condoms.1 point -
Fun filled Friday night at Good Boy (formerly Screw Boys). 5 Taiwanese gay customers were seated at the back and enjoying every minute of the show. They were clapping, waving and singing enthusiastically. The other customers (including yours truly here) and the drag queen perfomrers were bemused but enjoyed the party atmosphere that the 5 young men brought to the bar. It helped that they were probably half drunk after drinking their bottle of whisky.1 point

It is no surprise to anyone except the woke partisans and those with their heads in the sand that Donald J. Trump is leading in almost every poll, and in most cases, his lead beyond the margin of error. What I can't wrap my mind around is anyone who would even consider voting for Biden, an old weak, decrepit, degenerate with severe cognitive issues. Who in their right mind would vote for Dementia Joe Biden, after all the harm he has done to America and our allies. People who would vote for the Alzheimer's patient are crazy. You don't give a man with mental deficiencies the nuclear codes. I guess if you're getting government handouts, like having your $100,000 student loan forgiven, I might consider it. Fortunately I paid mine off long ago so that is not an option.1 point -

Proving yet again that you are immune to facts. You will take any load of shit Trump and the cult leaders feed you and devour it. Which "Republicans and Democrats" were quoted? Let's see. There's Kevin McCarthy. And Mike Johnson. Oh, and Kevin McCarthy. And Kevin McCarthy, too. Oh, and they did quote Mike Johnson. And I think Mike Johnson, too. Plus, they quoted Kevin McCarthy a lot. What party are they? The only Democrat I saw named was Anthony Blinken. But he was not quoted. The basic idea, as I said above, is Biden is demented because he called Xi a dictator. Among the cult, telling the truth is demented. Saying an election was stolen when you lost by 7 million votes is the truth. The thing Trump and the cult obviously has going for you is lots of young, Black, and Brown voters who tend to vote Democrat have been pained by inflation. The fact that inflation was higher in Mexico or Europe doesn't really matter to them. Since they don't have lots of wealth in stocks or homes with fixed rate mortgages, inflation stings in a way it simply does not when you don't have to worry about rentflation and your assets have grown by six or seven or eight figures under Biden. The Trump strategy is to hope they will open their mouths wide so you can shove this fact-free bullshit and hate and lies down their throat. Oh, plus tax cuts for the rich, take their health care away, and pretend climate change is not real. Oh, and abortion. I just don't think young people, Blacks, and Browns are that stupid. I don't think it's going to work. But you are a cultist. So you have unconditional faith in the bullshit, lies, and hatred.1 point -

Me too. Here are some suggested rules: 1. Be very careful to NOT accept "dynamic conversion". When taking a large amount out at "yellow bank", it cost me almost $50 on the transaction. 2. Use a debit card which does NOT have a "foreign transaction fee". It can cost you at least 3% above the usual 1% conversion fee that Visa/Mastercard take a foreign currency conversion fee. 3. Use a card which will reimburse you for the usurious fees which Thai banks charge on ATM transactions. Charles Schwab's debit card is one. There may be others. 4. If you must pay the Thai bank transaction fee, then take out as much money as you can at one time (up to B30,000 at some banks) since the transaction fee amount is fixed as doesn't depend on the amount withdrawn.1 point -

Be careful in the Philippines (as you should everywhere else). New HIV diagnoses among young people continue to rise at an alarming rate, and many do not commence treatment until they start to experience AIDS related symptoms, so you can’t rely on treatment as prevention as a risk mitigator. Cases of other STIs like Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Hepatitis B & C, and HPV are also very much on the rise with very little routine STI testing being done because it isn’t free. Here is a recent article that might be of interest: https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1941639/hiv-cases-among-filipinos-continue-to-rise-says-doh/amp1 point

Sorry guys - I will not tolerate these comments!! After going to the Sloan Kettering hospital in Manhattan many times during the 1980s and watching your loved friends die in so much pain and agony - often exacerbated by the hostile and caustic AZT, it was too much to bear. This was well documented in the Dallas Buyers Club movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Buyers_Club about all of the less caustic and painful alternatives that were available in Mexico but were blocked in the USA. After losing 50% of my friends to AIDS in the 1980s and early 1990s, I suffered from "survivor's remorse" and I volunteered my body to science under the experimental clinical trials for Vaxgen in 1997, 1998, and 1999 - where for every 6 months we had to be share with the scientists all of our sexual encounters, types of sex, protected or not, etc. and get injected with the Vaxgen vaccine. In the year 2000 after the conclusion of the study, we were told that it was only 17% effective and deemed to be a failure. We were also told if we were in the placebo group or in the non-placebo group - I was in the non-placebo group and I was given a special card to show to the future medical authorities - as I could test false positive for AIDS and I was to show this Vaxgen card so that they would know that it is the result of the vaccine study trials. I was asked to go onto Denver TV to say why did I volunteer my body for this Vaxgen trial and I responded: "After watching so many of my friends die from AIDS in such a painful and violent way with AZT - I just had to do something in the memory of my lost friends....." So, when you JUDGE me because I complain about the insensitivity of Dr. Fauci and the USA blocking the alternative medicines that were available in Mexico at that time, I ask to all of you - what personal sacrifice did you make to help with AIDS research??1 point -

Help: What to do in the Philippines
groenthusiast reacted to NIrishGuy for a topic
My Flipino BF tells me that the reason a lot of Malls are so packed is that as it's so overpoweringly hot there people go to Malls for the (free) aircon ! This based on the fact that it's much more pleasant to spend the afternoon sitting there or walking around a Mall than it is to sit at home either sweating it out or having to spend money running an expensive home Ac machine. Likewise re the fancy cars I know even from watching his family and friends that Flipinos ( or actually most Asians it seems!?) having fancy cars definitely does NOT mean they are rich or have a lot of money. In my experience they buy the biggest car they (cant) afford just to be "seen" in it and so that they can LOOK like they have money and a great lifestyle to show off to their friends - whereas in reality they maybe hardly having enough money to put petrol in the bloody thing !! Shallow ( as I've pointed out to him, but he and they see nothing wrong with showing off ( what you dont have !)1 point -

I have lived in Manila for 20 years. Most of the things mentioned in this forum about Philippines are just the tip of the iceberg of what this country has to offer. All you ever gonna need is https://peoplelikeus.activeboard.com/. It is mostly in Tagalog (just use google translate) but asking/replying in english is pretty much welcomed over there. It has everything you will ever need for your sexcapade in the Philippines. It has classified and field reports of filipino money boys (both freelance and affiliated with massage shops), massage shops reviews, gogo bars reviews, sauna/bath houses reviews, even tips and tricks on how to book basketball players, models and celebrities. So yeah.. you're welcome1 point -
Dementia Joe Biden is like a slinky: Totally useless, but it sure is a lot of fun watching it go down a flight of steps. Dementia Joe's handlers and the fawning, fake news media can only try to cover up his slipping for a few more weeks until all of America sees the meds wear off and him fall flat during the debate. He will be exposed and replaced on the ticket before the DNC. They will have no choice other than to watch DJT win in a landslide. Every Democrat denying Dementia Joe's cognitive problems should be put in jail for knowingly aiding and abetting a Resident that's lost his mind. The guy is CRAZY and yet they let him stay in office, even if it's in the basement. Trump 2024 MAGA0 points

WSJ: Biden Shows Signs of Slipping
KeepItReal reacted to EmmetK for a topic
The Wall Street Journal spoke to more than 45 people — Republicans and Democrats — over several months about these meetings, including to some who said Biden mumbled and spoke so softly people struggled to hear him, closed his eyes for so long people wondered if he had “tuned out,” and had to read from notes to make “obvious points.” I blame Dr. Jill. Anyone who loved her spouse wouldn't want him to be an a s s on the world stage. This is elder abuse. She must really love the power she gets from dragging him around on a leash, and handing the leash off to his entourage. Disgusting. The WSJ article clearly points out that Dementia Joe is not even able to think during important meetings so SOMEONE is calling the shots. It is either Obama (who took up residence in DC after his 2 terms), or rich string pullers like Soros, or naive ivy league pencil necked geeks that think they can solve the worlds problems with a computer, but it for sure ain't Biden. You don't need a tin hat to know that. It’s gone/going the way the Wilson administration did. A feeble leader with someone else making the decisions. And Wilson was the worst president in American history..... until now. Even Jimmy Carter, while over his head, was a good man at heart.0 points -
