    Tawan is The One

2nd day of reopening 25 customers, mostly Asians, only 3 farang Around 15 guys working. Many nice toned bodies. Bodybuilding competition soon? No twinks. Waiter is cute though. Show started at 10.35pm. 3 diva lip synching. One guy had solo candle wax performance. A bit of SM with two guys in leather gear. 1st show ended at 11.15am. I didn't stay for 2nd show as going for supper. I cannot say for certain if the show has toned down or not. Might go again.

  2. No queues to enter Beef last night when I passed by soi 6 but maybe because it was early at 9.30pm. I visited Dreamboys primarily to watch the coyote dancing which opened the first show at 10.30pm. and 3rd show at midnight. 40 plus guys when I entered. By 12.15am when I left, only half standing on stage. Some were offed and the rest were seated with customers having drinks. Many customers came in groups. One group of 3, comprising 2 Chinese guys and 1 lady, had 3 Dreamboys with them.

  3. NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Writing an impassioned letter on Monday to Judge Juan Merchan, Melania Trump argued that sentencing her husband to house arrest would mean cruel and unusual punishment for her. Mrs. Trump wrote that confining her husband to any place where she resides would be a clear violation “not only of the US Constitution, but of the Geneva Conventions.” “Your Honor, you can prevent a humanitarian crisis,” she continued. “The human I speak of is me.” Suggesting an appropriate sentence for her felonious husband, Mrs. Trump wrote, “Prison be best.”

  4. A new bar opened yesterday in the Jomtien Complex on the main arm of the complex in part of what was Dolce Vita restaurant, and adjacent to the snicket there that leads towards the Zing Hotel. A young Thai boy boss, Golf pictured below. The map is not mine of course, but Golf annotated it for me to show where his new bar is located. New Boss, the young 'Golf'; a lovely lad who used to work in JoJo Bar. I got to know him quite well on my last holiday and I wish him every success! 😍

  5. When did American business men (and notably it is only old white men) turn into such whimps? I exaggerate of course - they may be business men, but clearly they have trouble pulling their heads out of their politics. Or perhaps there are more divorced business men, fooling around with porn stars, with political aspirations than I thought? 😁

  6. What happened to the rule of law in America? America is ruined. The rule of law is broken. Billionaire CEO, real estate investor on impact of Trump verdict: 'Nobody wants to do business' in NYC And it's not just New York. The whole world is aghast at America. The whole galaxy! This is the biggest injustice done to anyone, ever, in all human history. And it is Joe Biden's fault! It only starts in New York. When the verdict was announced people in California started committing mass suicide. There were mental breakdowns and thousands of fatal car crashes within minutes of the verdict. In my own neighborhood, I could hear deep human wailing. "The rule of law! The rule of law! What happened to the rule of law!" Back in the day, you used to be able to have extramarital sex with porn stars and pay them off when you ran for President. Now, with the breakdown of the rule of law, the Dementia Joe mob will come after you unmercifully if you do that. Back in the day, you used to be able to steal elections you lost by seven million votes. Now, thanks to Democratic Marxists who are destroying democracy, you can't steal elections anymore. What the fuck happened to America? It makes me cry and shit on myself. Speaking of which, I have personally shit on the desk of Bob Dole. I have personally peed all over the carpet of Tom Foley, when he was House Speaker. In the 1980's and 1990's I think I broke the arms, legs, or hands of at least half a dozen Capitol Security officers, and ransacked the desks of dozens of Senators. Now that we have this huge injustice in America, and the breakdown of the rule of law, you just can't do these things anymore. What happened to Mom, the flag, and apple pie? This is bipartisan cruelty. Whether it is Nancy Pelosi getting all riled up about her liberal carpet, PAID FOR BY US TAXPAYERS, or Kevin McCarthy verbally assaulting Donald Trump because patriots visited the Capitol, America has just gone pure apeshit. Let's not even get into calling some worthless RINO bureaucrat just to ask him to find thousands of votes so you can steal a state election. You can't even do THAT anymore, thanks to the breakdown of the rule of law. America is ruined. We need a Fuhrer. We need to restore the blood of the Reich.

  7. Not sure that's fair. A few bars have a large number of regulars every night. But they are your expats, and expats generally have 1 or 2 places they frequent. Cocka2 Bar usually has a good group sat with the owner Rob, myself sometimes included. Wednesdays gets people out trying to win the bingo at home bar. It's not all doom and gloom. You are correct though, some bars have 1 or less customers pretty much every night. There are a raft of closures coming in the very near future. But then again, new bars are opening too! No bars in the complex have a bar license. They can't get one as it's not classed as an "entertainment zone". But brown envelopes reach the right pockets on a monthly basis to keep the doors open.

  8. Stick to this plan since you have the ticket....Colombia and Brasil can be a different trip, like you said a bit closer. Not in my experience... Westerners are held on a higher plateau in developing and third world countries......Take those same nationalities, that have made it to or born in the US, they might not think much about skin color or where you're from, unless you're rich.....then in that case everyone is looking for a sugar daddy, lol Brasil: AMAZING sex, fun guys, especially Cariocas (people from Rio)....Food in SP is good, Rio is meh, Rio good touristy stuff, SP big ugly city. Medellin: I've just recently rediscovered here after many years avoiding it....going back for my 3rd time in the last 4 months, finding more love for Venezuelans but Colombians are good too. Great food options, Airbnb & Hotels a little more than others, not by much, guys are a bargain and well worth it. Thailand: Fun AMAZING massage, food, Business class flights, hotels, nightlife, too transactional money sex, not cheap after considering off/drinks/tips, occasionally find good sex, but usually mediocre, guys are nice but too many seem to have a drama story waiting for the sympathetic Farang to throw money at them like an angel, then they buy an iPhone or splurge drink with their friends....not all, but a majority. Philippines: Free scene guys are looking for a husband/bf money guys aren't as cheap as you think.....mixed bag. More expensive than other places in Asia in general. Indonesia: Still the least expensive in my eyes for what you get and most are cut, which is a good change after all these years visiting uncut countries. These are from my personal experiences and some generalizations as I've been traveling for a long time. Scenes change (Cuba) that used to be amazing and now dismal. I'm going back to Cambodia this year, I haven't been for a long time so can't comment much there, although my last time in PP, I was ready to leave and my only time in Vietnam, I was ready to leave after 2 days there. I live in Mexico and have a lot on my doorstep literally or a short flight away....You're in US, but some Mexico flights can be more than a flight to Colombia , but Mexico city, Monterrey are very gay and not so "touristic" Mexico. There is no PERFECT place....and if there was, a lot of us would still go looking for the pot of gold somewhere else, lol

  9. It's called Fun Size Bar. There were about 12 customers for their Grand Opening. I attended briefly. American owner, Golf is running it for his sponsor. They were giving out 1 free drink per customer, so that was the draw. I counted 3 staff, and the boss. None of which I would consider Fun Size, whatever that means? Perhaps it refers to the staff having small dicks? They took over the location of the short lived Lambada Bar. The owner James did a runner after his bar never taking off at all. That was for multiple reasons, but hopefully the new owners will be better.

Hey guys. Just thought share a brief report on my recent trip. Bars I went to 2 bars during my weekend trip; Frolic & ChinChin. It was pretty packed on Friday night in both bars, celebrating the start of Pride month. On Friday night, I was at Frolic first, before going to ChinChin later that night. Frolic had 2 gogo boys dancing as opening for the drag show. The crowd was kind of a mixed bag in terms of age and local vs foreigner. People tend to stick to their own click at first, until the alcohol and whatever they were taking in from the balloons kicked in. Frolic also has an entrance fee for Saturday night (around 100k VND, I think), which does not include drinks. I only went to ChinChin on Friday night, and it was pretty late by then but the crowd was still pretty big. The vibe I get from ChinChin is that it's more for the "bougie" crowd. The bar's set up gives off a more upscale feel, and the guests actually dressed up decently. Again, people tend to stick with their own crowd, and there are more locals here with maybe the odd few foreigners. But the guys were, IMHO, hotter than the those in the Frolic crowd 😅. Sauna I only went to one sauna, Nadam. It was a Saturday evening (around 5pm) and there was pretty big crowd, with varying ages. Though, I seem to be the only non-oriental looking guest from what I can see. A lot of guys with great bodies there. The crowd tend to be more reserved, with a few guys giving a grope if they're interested, to see if you are too. There is a pretty well equipped gym, and the layout of the sauna provides for different areas (multiple lounging areas, saunas (including steam room, hot & cold jacuzzi) are on the ground floor, with the mazes on the first and secord floor. The entry fee was less than 100k VND if I'm not mistaken. Saunas are not really my thing but if you enjoy it and are into oriental asians, this would be a good place for you. Online MBs I received several offers on the apps (Grindr and HeeSay), ranging from 500k VND to 2 mil VND depending on what you want. There are surprisingly more gym fit MBs than the twinkier guys. My experience hiring one of the guys was, unfortunately, not that great. The guy looked masculine with a gym fit body in the pics, but in person he was more effeminate. When I showered, he went ahead and helped himself to the snacks and drinks I had in my room...without asking me. I didn't realise it until after he left. The service itself was rather mediocre, so all in all, it wasn't really a good experience. But I am eagre to come back and explore a bit more of the HCM scene. I met several amazing local guys over coffee and some of the expats I met at the bars. Looking forward to my next trip.

    Short or Long Visit

Im more a shorter stay guy, mainly due to work but recently, i tried going for a 2 week long in thailand, and i didnt regret it one bit. Granted, i do split my time between bangkok and pattaya. The last few visits, i rarely did bangkok or pattaya sight seeing anymore, so i added in side trips, such as chiang mai, vientiene, hua hin, kanchanaburi etc. I do have an advantage of living near to thailand (2.30 hour flight) so shorter trips is more desirable but sometimes work schedule make it easier to just take leaves at the end of the year, when most people takes their leaves. Thus the longer trip. I just finished a work trip that is 3 long weeks, and i pretty much cant wait to return home. I guess 2 weeks or less is my sweet spot.

  13. From CNBC Mexico’s left-leaning climate scientist Claudia Sheinbaum has secured enough votes to become the Latin American country’s first-ever female president. The country’s electoral institute published a rapid count estimate late Sunday night saying that Sheinbaum had won the presidential election. The estimate has a margin of error of +/-1.5%, the institute said. A protégé of her long-time ally and mentor Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Sheinbaum is now poised to succeed AMLO when his six-year term as president comes to an end on Oct. 1. In a speech after the preliminary results, Sheinbaum said the government will have “republican austerity, financial and fiscal discipline and autonomy,” according to a CNBC translation, adding that the country “will never have an authoritarian or oppressive government.”

  17. It depends on the health and resilience of the traveller. I was just under fifty on my first trip and so dazzled was I at what I experienced that I booked up another two flights on my return. However, I was still working then and the best I could do was one week, of which two days were devoted to the flight. From London, door to door, including waiting at the airport, the journey was about seventeen hours each way. And at that I age I coped. Now? no chance! I find the journey absolutely worthwhile and regret nothing.....but, the truth is, I struggle even now when I use Business Class. So, if you are young (under sixty, or whatever!) and are full of beans ((as we Britons say), go for a long weekend if you like! And good luck to you

I'd suggest keeping your mouth closed talking about issues you clearly have no idea about. No idea how US politics has anything to do with some violent cross-dressers in Thailand, but hey, you get to throw your toys out the pram hey!

  19. Will only comment on Bangkok. if anything, Thailand—and Bangkok in particular—is renowned for its massage industry. That’s not to say he it doesn’t have a noteworthy sauna scene but it’s a distant second attraction. If you have a fairly good body, you’ll probably have rewarding experience at the at the top saunas where the younger crowds gather. Otherwise, places like 39 Underground and Heaven saunas might be better choices. Massage shops on the other hand accommodate all comers. It would be a mistake IMO not to liberally sample the offerings.

TB is often the first indication of Hiv+. I don't know whether this is the case now but I recall reading about strains of TB that are resistant to the usual medications across the world. I remember a Thai guy some years back who made zero progress while under the common (perhaps cheap?) medication at his hospital but was able to find the money to buy a more effective one which worked quickly.

  26. This covers a few different continents and regions so I just put it here. But feel free to move if needed. I'm a white guy in my late 20s. Origin is the US. I recently got into this hobby, and I'm still overwhelmed by the info (especially in the Thailand section), so I'd love some input from the experts here. I blocked out two weeks at the end of June and beginning of July. I saw a good deal on RT business class in and out of Manila, and pulled the trigger. My idea was to spend a few days in Manila, fly to Bangkok, and stay there for about a week before returning to Manila and flying home. Now I'm wondering if I put enough thought and research into this and I'm reconsidering Colombia (where I've been twice over the past few months) or another destination like Brazil. I generally pay 30% of the time and have sex for free 70% of the time. This time I want to dip my toes in the saunas and bathhouses, since I've never done that before. Even more hedonistic options like an orgy or something would be a plus. I prefer twinks / college aged guys. Here are my thoughts. Am I missing any important pros / cons of each? Is there one destination that I should be prioritizing over the others? Thailand (Bangkok or other cities): Pros: I hear the bath house scene is great; I've been to Bangkok and there's amazing food and a ton of stuff to do; I think English proficiency is higher than Latin America Cons: I personally find Thai guys a little less attractive than Filipino / Latin American guys; there seems to be limited guys in general when I check Grindr Explore and Rent Men (is there a Milleroticos equivalent for Bangkok?) Philippines (Manila): Pros: Very dense; English speaking; Filipino guys are very attractive; a ton of guys on Grindr readily advertise escorting and the prices are dirt cheap; I've heard Filipinos are generally pretty receptive to white guys, moreso than Colombians and Brazilians Cons: It seems like the bathhouse scene is underwhelming; I've heard Manila as a city doesn't have much to offer for either food or activities Colombia (Medellin): Pros: Very attractive men; shorter flight Cons: Have been here before; the bathhouses and paid sex places seem more limited than SE Asia; a smaller population so theoretically fewer options; my Spanish is basic; negotiating with guys off of Milleroticos and Grindr can be a chore; maybe TMI but too many guys I slept with in Colombia did not prepare well for sex Brazil (Rio and/or SP): Pros: Very attractive men; supposedly a great bathhouse culture; beautiful beaches Cons: I don't speak any Portuguese; the options on Skokka and some of the escort websites look more limited than what I think is available in SE Asia

    Short or Long Visit

Based on what you described as the the activities for your February visit and what you seem to be looking forward to, then I think you are right in deciding on two shorter visits of about 10 days, within a year. The sights are seldom as much a wow thing the second time compared to the first. In any case, there aren't enough sights (not in Bangkok, anyway) to fill three and a half weeks. There's an endless supply of sex, but my experience is that desire will peter out after a week or so. The thrill wears out, it becomes a routine and soon enough, a boring one. And yes, you should try the massage offerings. But let me give you a bit of advice here when venturing into this area: There are roughly three kinds of massage parlours and it is hard to tell them apart from appearances. 1. Places that offer real massage and no sex (at most, if you are lucky, a handjob) 2. Places where the management pretends it is a real massage place, but most of the boys don't know the techniques, and are more interested in selling sex for big tips. 3. Places that have "massage" or "spa" in their name but are basically brothels. You may get a simple, reasonably satisfying massage or the boy merely goes through the motions (or sometimes don't have a clue how to perform a massage) and you need to think of the "massage" more as foreplay. Depending on which brothel you're patronising, the expected tip can vary tremendously. To make matters even more confusing, there are no hard and fast boundaries between one type and another. There are places kind of in-between. However, I find it easier to think in terms of these three types and classify the various places accordingly in my mind. Why? Because the business transaction operates somewhat differently depending on whether it is 1, 2 or 3, particularly the tip (or what I call the service fee). Closer to November when you are ready to dip your toe into Thailand's gay "massage" business, maybe you can ask for more information about how to navigate ths confusing sector. By the way, are you heading to Hanoi or Ho Chi MInh City in August?

  33. Dolce Vita is for sale yes. Toto also has the poolside restaurant at 2B, but I believe doesn't pay rent. The building can't get anyone in there, so gave it away. I recently moved out of VT 2B, mainly because its a shit hole and needs knocking down. Fun Size Bar, formally Lambada Bar, was constructed in the motorbike parking area next to Dolce Vita, and they also built a cannabis shop behind it in what we call Dog Shit Alley. The cannabis shop lasted about a month before closing down. Lambada Bar was about 3 months. He was trying to sell it, but in the end it didn't sell, the Complex took control back after defaulted rent and the new American guy took it. James was Iranian. As for a nice guy, that's for each to have their own opinion. All I will say is, I never went anywhere near Lambada Bar, neither did anyone else.

  38. From The Thaiger Starting December 1, Thai Airways (THAI) will resume its daily direct passenger flights between Brussels Airport and Bangkok. This eagerly awaited route, which was suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic, significantly enhances Brussels Airport’s intercontinental offerings. After a four-year hiatus, Brussels Airport is thrilled to welcome back THAI, a former member of its prestigious airline community. The airline has once again chosen Brussels Airport as its hub in the Benelux region, much to the delight of Belgian travellers. From December 1, THAI will operate a daily service to Bangkok using the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8. Known for its fuel efficiency and reduced noise impact, this aircraft will serve both tourism and business travellers. The return of the Thai airline marks a significant enhancement to Brussels Airport’s intercontinental network, providing direct access to one of Asia’s most vibrant destinations. In related news, Airbus has inked a deal with THAI to retrofit its fleet of 20 A320ceo aircraft with premium reclining business class seats. This marks Airbus’ first-ever cabin retrofit for a single-aisle fleet in this part of the world.

  40. You're so predictable. Just like your genocidal monster. I of course knew you'd attack me that way. Which is my point. I don't have to be an expert. And this isn't rocket science. Everybody in the world now wants Russia to fail. Except Master Xi, who will use his sadistic pit bull and happily let Russia become weaker as his own economy flails. And India, who can get cheap stuff from Russia as it heads down the hell hole to breaking up. Your country is not even your own anymore. You are a product of China. Woo hoo! Everyone in the world can see clearly your genocidal sadist is flailing around as he pays Russians to kill and be turned into fertilizer. Your brightest people flee, and your poorest people become grass. Nobody wants to be Russian. Not even most Russians, probably, if they could speak honestly. Have fun with that while it lasts. Hope you're at least one of the ones making money off misery, death, and cruelty.

  45. From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon The extension of visa-free travel to 93 countries, including all those which are major players in tourism to Thailand, means that the overwhelming majority of foreign holidaymakers can obtain 60 days just by turning up. Nationals of those countries still needing a prior visa – for example Haiti, Pakistan, the Central African Republic, El Salvador, North Korea – send few vacationers in any case. The mammoth question for the 93 countries is now extensions and repeat performances. In other words, can these tourists extend their 60 days for another month at local immigration and can they do a border hop to start all over again? Nobody can confirm either possibility and a phone call to 1178, the immigration hotline, brought no clarification. That’s not surprising as the new visa rules for visitors were introduced by the foreign affairs ministry, whilst internal extensions are the responsibility of the immigration bureau, a totally separate and fiercely independent government bureaucracy. The new Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), so far, is incomplete. We know is a multiple entry visa, valid for 5 years and aimed largely at remote workers and digital nomads, for a maximum stay of 180 days with an extension of another 180 days. The cost is 10,000 baht (around US$270) per half-year with a security bond of 500,000 baht available. Some social media contributors have stated this visa can be used only twice in five years, 180+180 days as it were, whilst others have declared you can live in Thailand for the entire five years as an alternative to the Elite visa or the annual extension of stay based on retirement. Neither extreme makes any sense. There is very little news in the new policy for existing expats, apart from a temporary reduction in medical insurance required by some (not all) holders of retirement visas and their subsequent extensions of stay. However, there is an intriguing reference in the ministry of foreign affairs’ news release that the number of non-immigrant visas available will be drastically cut. The detail, once again, is guesswork but could include visas and extensions for retirees, foreigners married to Thais, work permit holders and international students being updated. Will the well-known difference between the 800,000 baht requirement for retiree visas and the 400,000 baht for married foreigners survive? Not mentioned in the DTV news release, is the awesome elephant in the room. That’s the requirement, already stated by the Thai Revenue authorities, for all foreign tax residents to register by early next year for possible personal income tax on overseas income. A tax resident spends more than six months in Thailand in the calendar year. If the Thai government is serious about encouraging expat numbers in Thailand, it should issue an unambiguous statement that foreign income or pensions already taxed will in the home country will not be subject to further inquiry in Thailand. The sense of relief would be audible from the Myanmar border to the southern islands beyond Phuket. But don’t hold your breath.

  46. From The Nation The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday released a list of 93 nations whose citizens can enter Thailand without a visa or obtain a visa on arrival and can stay for up to 60 days. In a move to boost tourism and bring tourist dollars into the country, the Cabinet agreed on Tuesday to waive visa measures for a total of 93 countries. This list includes the 57 nations whose citizens were allowed to stay in Thailand for 30 days without a visa, 13 nations for whom the visa requirement was recently waived and an additional six nations whose citizens will be allowed to stay here without a visa for 60 days. The 57 nations who were already enjoying a visa waiver and can now get a 60-day stamp on arrival are: 1. Canada 2. Czech Republic 3. Denmark 4. Estonia 5. Finland 6. France 7. Germany 8. Greece 9. GOP- Nice Boys

Very sad. Golf was very nice guy. He was a great pool player. I spent time with him in the bar whenever he was there. The other boys told me he was positive. I was surprised they told me as usually they don’t get involved with informing falangs about personal Thai matters.

  48. There simply isn't enough attraction in Thailand to make me want to stay 60 days. But if it also applies to the working boys from Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, etc, then it reduces the number of visa runs they make by half, which may then draw a few more of them into the business-that-we-all-know-about. That would be the best news.

    Situation in Haiti

The Haitians are not going to invade the DR or shoot rockets. I don't know about any refugee situation but the two countries do not get along and the border, as I understand it, is heavily controlled.
