There' a very simple way to determine whether we can expect our date to be MB: ask ourselves if we'd have sex for free if our date looked like us.

Exactly, Moses. Hoping that you’d notice. I posted a ridiculous photo just as you did of a fat couple in attempt to demonize Americans. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. 🙂

  4. From Thai PBS World Faced with modernity, makeshift barber shops along the streets of Vietnam are now dwindling in number. The few that remain, however, still continue to represent the old-world charm that regular habitués have come to love and enjoy. Along the streets in Saigon and Hanoi, many entrepreneurial barbers work day or night under the shade of a tree or an improvised canopy, snipping and shaving, often with little more than a few grooming tools, and a small mirror attached to the wall with a single rusty hook. They continue this trade that has, over the years, become part of a tradition which, by some accounts, dates back to many generations. These sidewalk barbers are not only experts in hair styling but also in entertaining their customers with their sense of humor. A haircut, both for men and women, are very important in Vietnamese culture. “Good grooming for us connotes having a nice and clean set of teeth, and a well-styled and nicely cut hair,” shared one local. Barbers operating in small makeshift salons along the streets of Vietnam are now a common sight where an assortment of daily activities happens – from eating and cooking to child rearing. In this part of the world, having a haircut out in the open is not something to be shy about. “It is part of the local tradition,” said Fritz, a long-time European customer, after having his haircut in one of these roadside salons. “I feel very relaxed, very comfortable. I keep coming back because they are my friends,” he said, referring to the barber and ladies selling foods and drinks nearby. He said that the people are very friendly and accommodating, providing relaxation and familiarity. “And the price is very affordable,” he added. Vietnam’s roadside barbershops, indeed, make up for the lack of the luxury and comfort offered in expensive salons with their friendliness and familiarity. In a spot where a lot of activities are happening, other services are also offered aside from cutting hair, such as nose hair trimming and ear waxing. Food and drinks are also available, along with the lively conversations with some locals and other customers. By any chance have you heard of the State-of-the-art phone app called Google Map? Many members of this board have successfully found even the most out-of-the-way bars and massage parlours using it, without speaking the local language, in pouring rain and in the middle of the night too.

Well I’m back. After making my first trip to Bangkok in November 2022, I am going back in July. I’ve booked the Raya again. This will be a relaxing break for me. I plan to spend afternoons getting massages and hit the shows/bars at night. I think I can handle the BTS, this time I may try the MRT. I want to revisit the Grand Palace, and this time I want to take one of the fast boats on the river. I may hire a guide from Siam again as that was fun and informative last time. I’d also like to try some different places for dinner. Any recommendations? Can’t wait!

  15. From Pattaya News A Russian tourist was arrested on Saturday, May 11th, after going on a reported rampage at a Pattaya hotel. The incident occurred at around 5 PM at an unidentified hotel in Soi 7 near Pattaya Beach. The tourist, who appeared to be intoxicated and in a state of mental distress, had been previously seen snatching a mobile phone from a local. After being captured and having his stolen phone returned to its rightful owner, the tourist suddenly became violent again and ran into the hotel, where he was apparently not a guest. He then barricaded himself inside a bathroom and began shouting and making a scene. Eyewitness Mr. Sitthisak Witthayaampon, 36, told The Pattaya News that the unidentified tourist was around 30-35 years old. Hotel staff called the Pattaya police who arrived and attempted to negotiate with the tourist, but he refused to cooperate. The police then decided to use pepper spray on the tourist, which successfully forced him out of a bathroom. After a brief struggle, authorities were able to take him into custody. The tourist, whose identity has not yet been released, is currently being held in police custody. He is facing charges of disorderly conduct and causing a public nuisance.

  16. From The Thaiger Officers from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested a British man for allegedly defaming an Italian restaurant in Phuket with negative reviews on Google after a two-year long conflict with the restaurant owner. The restaurant owner filed a complaint with the Sakhu Police Station officers after noticing a sudden drop in their Google Maps rating, from 4.9 stars to 3.1 stars. The owner also noticed several new one-star reviews containing negative comments, and one of the comments came from 21 year old British man, Alexander. The owner suspected the foreign man of giving a low rating and negative comments to defame the restaurant. The owner claimed that the reviews contained false and exaggerated information, and several reviews seemed similar, suggesting they might be from Alexander’s friends. According to the owner, Alexander’s action stemmed from a conflict between him and the restaurant in 2022. Alexander frequently used the restaurant’s entrance to access his condominium because it was more convenient than the condo’s official entrance. However, the owner requested that Alexander stop using their entrance as it was reserved for customers and built on private land paid for by the restaurant. The restaurant owner believes the negative reviews were Alexander’s way of getting revenge for being denied access to the entrance. Upon learning about the legal action, Alexander reportedly fled Phuket and hid in a condominium on Charoenkrung Road in the Bang Kho Laem district of Bangkok. Sakhu Police Station officers then coordinated with CIB leading to his arrest on May 8. Alexander was charged under Section 14(1) of the Computer Act: importing false information into the computer system in a way that is likely to cause damages to the public. The penalty will be imprisonment of up to five years and a fine of up to 100,000 baht. He reportedly denied the accusations. A similar story of conflict over reviews was reported in February this year. In this case, an American expat in Thailand faced jail time for defaming the Sea View Resort & Spa Koh Chang and its staff member after writing a review on TripAdvisor about his negative experience at the accommodation. The American eventually avoided jail by issuing an official apology to the resort, even though he was confident in his right to write an honest review.

I take it as they don't want to be contacted by MB's offering their services. As somebody mentioned above never assume anything when engaging with guys from apps until is over but it is safe to assume that when guy is looking for money he will let you know at one point so better be prepared with some cash

  20. That hotel is located in bottom centre of Teusaquillo, considered to be among the safer districts, but most of us are inclined to stay a few kms northeast in Chapinero. Either way, if you are taking in tourism venues you will need car transport and will not likely be walking around the hotel area except to get food.

  21. Where else are you going besides Brasil.....if you only had a week, I'd still do both. August is winter in Rio, not as busy as other months, a lot of the "talent" goes to Sao Paulo or stay in SP and don't go to Rio....but like buttercawan said, you can still do touristy things, and there are guys in Rio, just not the selection as in warmer months. so at least 3 days in SP and make sure the days line up to be the good ones in the saunas in both cities.... Rio= Mon 202, Tues 117, Wed 202....SP= Lagoa Thurs, Fri, Sat Sauna days are dependent on the weather, when it rains, is usually shitty...if they do something like Bingo or free food could be busy. If there's a party or event in town could be slow, the guys priorities is party over work.

Drinks, off fee, boy's fee, food, hotel and entertainment, all added up. Off fee and drink used to be much lower, it was fun spending an evening surrounding with youth. This day, I hardly hookup with guy from bar. All the guys, I met from an applications: Local, Indians, Chinese, Russian/Ukraine (free and pay). They are straight forward with their services, $1,500 is market price for both local and international. Be sure to have a video call to confirm the product offer. Still reasonable compare to the west.....

Obesity is a disease. The science about that is becoming much more clear with GLP1 medications like Ozembic, etc. I do not think that it is appropriate to mock people for a disease. If people in these photos had access to current medications, they could probably slim down and be healthier. Rude behavior is what earned the Ugly American stereotype, and is the primary complaint about some Russian tourists. Rudeness, unlike obesity, really is a character flaw.

Some of my go to places, not in any order of preference G's Bangkok Soi 4, nice place, good food and cold beer, nice place to sit and watch the Soi 4 world go by Roadhouse Barbecue corner Rama IV and Surawong, good food and cold beer, a little pricey but still good and the lunch specials are reasonably priced Mango Tree (my favourite) as Daddy415 said delicious food, nice atmosphere, I can't resist eating there several times per trip. Such a pity that the Mango Tree on Yodpiman Riverwalk closed, I used to enjoy a leisurely evening meal and drink there and sit back watching the river traffic flow by Happy Beer Garden across from the Raya on Surawong, cheaper eats than others but still good food and drinks and generally a happy atmosphere

  33. I'll respond to my own message in case anyone is searching in the future.... I stopped by this week and the mamasan was very pushy. He asked what type of massage and I said "Oil" and he said "no, AROMA oil, much better, less sticky" and then demanded a "deposit" to reserve my slot 2 hours later... in an empty shop on an almost empty street at 2 in the afternoon mid-week. The whole place smelled like gin and regret (cue Beverly Leslie)... and lots of cigarettes. I ended up leaving and going to Relax, which will be part of my trip report I will write once this jet lag is better...

  38. University theater programs don't train stage directors to be choreographers or Elizabethan sword-fighting experts, do they? Those are separate fields that have their own trained experts for the stage. So stage directors are similarly not trained to be experts in sexual harrassment, personal consent and boundaries, or conflict negotiation. That's why initimacy coordinators are now regularly part of theatrical productions of all types. I don't expect you to understand (or accept) all of this. If you don't want to pay "more $$$ down the drain," you might want to stay away from expensive shows. Sounds simple to me. 😉

  43. Whatever the outcome, voters--regardless of where they are--voters get what they deserve. That of course depends on a fair and impartial election. In the US, that's complicated by fiasco known as the electoral college. In Russia--and other places--it's complicated when the incumbent snuffs out competition. In China--an other places--it's complicated by a complete dictatorship. Much now rests on he Euro Zone to accept the mantle of leadership in the face of a possible Trump victory--as absurd as the possibility is. But it wouldn't be the first time the masses demanded, "Give us Barabbas".

The new location is slightly further from the nearest bts (ha yaek lat phrao) but I find it more spacious and might be more suitable for you.

    Paris 2022

Well it depends on who and where. I never hire porn stars for sure. Actually I don't watch porn so I don't know who is a porn star and who is not. One time a provider said he was famous after we had sex and when I Googled him, he indeed played in some porns. Another incident was someone who couldn't get hard to top me so I topped him. He was a porn star too but I don't think I would ever hire him again. I don't think porn stars deliver better than an average provider with a good attitude. I usually go for guys that are not too professional but has a good attitude toward this sort of job, ideally he enjoys sex more than being famous or being rich But they are certainly not street beggers or a quickie. Maybe my word muscular led to a wrong impression, I am not looking for body builders but I like guys who go to gym and have a proportional body (no chicken legs or hulks, though). And I never had a difficulty hiring with 100e in most European countries so I started wondering what you guys are doing or how much you are paying. I really thought the going rate in Europe is 100e except for those countries I mentioned...I never reveal information about me, I just contact them via WhatsApp and ask their rates and I was quoted 100 in most of the time but sometimes 120 or 150 but usually they just go back to 100e rather quickly if you refuse them. Unless I really want this particular provider, I never hire someone who lowered his rates because I think they will provide less. So I just say thank you and leave him alone. Also, I don't hire from rentmen or us based websites. If you contact them from their they usually quote 200 or more. Maybe this is why you guys are surprised but in Europe I use hunqz most of the time. Search according to my specifications and check their rate or contact them on WhatsApp and ask for their rates. Again I usually get 100e even when they don't know a thing about me... Rate wise, anything east of Austria is usually less than 100e, the west of Austria is slightly variable. I always find Spain to be particularly cheap, even the top escorts quote 100e, or even less for 30min. Portugal is another less known place for a low rate in my opinion but I stopped going there for job reasons. I even got 50 multiple times and one of them was really good. I hired him quite a few times when I used to go to Portugal. Of course the best place is thermas in Barcelona and even then when I hire them outside they usually quote me 100e. Some asked for 150 but they were well known guys like Junior. I like him and respect how he runs his business (affirmative and always consistent unlike many small minded providers who constantly change their rate and play games) so he was always an exception. But I am also not very demanding in terms of sex. No fetish no bb. I just require the guy to be able to get hard and kiss with tongue. So that could be the reason why they always quoted 100 for me and was always willing to meet with me outside of the sauna.
