  1. Hi guys, Just came back from a trip to Bangkok. It was mainly for work so I did not get to do much with the gogo/massage scene but thought I'd share what I did manage to do. There were two main things I at least wanted to do on this trip; checking out the Tawan situation personally and checking out the Sol bar which I've passed by so many times in my previous trip but never walked in. 😅 I am happy to say that I accomplished both. Tawan On Tawan, I've shared my findings here. Hopefully, that answered some questions a few of the members here had. Sol I checked out Sol just once on this trip. The entrance fee was THB 450. The layout of the bar was quite nice, spacious stage and floor but there's an annoying pillar at the middle-front of the stage which kind of blocks part of the stage depending on where you sit. The boys were a mixed bunch, but most consisted of str8 looking twinks. There were a few older guys who are lean/muscular and there's one guy who, if I'm not mistaken, was from Tawan quite some time back. The show was the usual mix of the drag, sexy show and big cock show (the movements they used for their "sexy dance" is pretty much the same as with most other bars except Jupiter, which makes me wonder if they are trained by the same coach, or if that's just the Thai version of a sexy dance 😅). There were only 2-3 other customers there aside from me, so the boys were trying hard to secure an off (which can be a bit uncomfortable). Overall, it's not my kind of bar but the twink lovers here might actually enjoy it. I'll continue with some brief update Jupiter, Moonlight, Hotmale and Dreamboys a little later.

  2. From MSN At least once in their lives, devout Buddhists in Laos strive to visit a very special temple inside a natural landmark, the Pak Ou Caves, directly on the mighty Mekong River, the lifeline of Southeast Asia. According to estimates, there are as many as 6,000 Buddha statues of various sizes and materials like wood and bronze in two limestone caves, put there by pilgrims over the centuries. Buddha is depicted with various hand gestures - called mudras - each of which has a specific meaning. "It is estimated that there are around 4,000 sculptures in the lower cave and around 2,000 in the upper one," says tour guide Somjai Simoonthong, who regularly brings tourists from all over the world here. The cave temples can only be reached by boat along the Mekong. The journey from the popular tourist destination of Luang Prabang - the former capital of the Southeast Asian country - involves a boat trip of about two hours. Inside the caves, a Laotian who lives in the US state of Colorado sprinkles a group of Buddha statues with water - as a sign of purification and respect. "I've wanted to travel here for so long, it's very important to me as a Laotian," he says. Most people in the country believe that their ancestors entered the caves for the first time in the 8th century. At that time, Buddhism was not yet widespread, so the Pak Ou Caves were initially used as a shrine for the river spirits. 3. Definitely worth visiting and easy to arrange in Luang Prabang. There are also packages including elephant sanctuary, Lao whisky producing village and Kuang Si waterfalls, worthy destination on it's own.

  4. Jupiter The entrance fee is THB 500. Unlike my previous trip in November last year, the bar had a sizeable number of female customers (some of whom were quite rowdy during the shows). The boys and shows were pretty much the same. I think I have a crush on the cute singer who would usually perform a few sets before the show starts. 😬 There was this young looking twunk customer at the bar that I took notice of because he kept changing seats. When the show was close to starting, a model just walked in wearing street clothes (presumably from a previous off). Upon seeing this model, the twunk almost jumped out of his seat to catch the nearest papasan, talking while pointing at the model. Not sure what was the discussion but the papasan was shaking his head a lot and the twunk went back to his seat. A little while after that, the twunk again went to talk to the same papasan and after some time, I saw the model went to join the twunk (who, at this point, was smiling ear to ear) at his seat. My assumption (which could be completely wrong) is that the model was initially not available but after some persuasion, the twunk was able to get the model. I was actually impressed by how assertive and persistent the twunk was but I also noticed the uncomfortable look on the model's face. I hope they ended up having a mutually enjoyable night.

  11. There are definitely a lot of clubs, saunas & massage parlors, Id say stay in Chapinero close to Parque de los Hippies, you can stay on the nicer side of Avenida 7(?), but overall Bogota isn't that safe to walk around at night unless there's a lot of people out or you're in a group, unless you wanna stay far away from all the action.

    Cartagena & Barranquilla

So we ended up going to Cartagena & Bogota for a few days. I'm very disappointed that I didn't end up going to Gabanna, a lot of the locals told me not to go, but it seemed like everyone was there during the weekend and someone invited me on Sunday, but by that time I was out & drunk already in the walled city. For this one spot alone I'm ready to go back to CTG, I don't necessarily need a plethora of places, I like off the beaten path. I also got invited to Avatar but never made it, didn't hear or see much about Gemini or Crazy Breeze if it still exists. Had a really great night at City Club, the one gay club in the central neighborhoods, it's really just a regular club, & very small, but made some friends, one off grindr, & we had a great night. Cartagena was difficult at first because most hotels & airbnbs are very guarded (literally, with door people) about visitors. Some of the guys have spots though. First few days were frustrating, but I finally found some hourly hotels in Getsemani. One wouldn't let me use it if it was with a chico instead of a chica, but the other one was fine & the woman working it was very accommodating. It was 30 pesos for the hour & I think 125 for the night. Even though I was in Bogota monday to wednesday, tuesday was basically a weekend night because of May Day, & the streets were crawling. We didn't go to Theatron though because someone mistakenly told me it would be open wednesday, but we had a great time at a salsa bar. I figured a lot of people would be off for the holiday, so that was the day I chose to hit up a sauna. I went to St. Moritze, & there must have been at least 50 guys there. 24 pesos I believe to get in. I don't know how much a massage is because I didn't. There were all ages, plenty of fine dudes, & at the same time it was both hot/sexy but also chill & not overly aggressive. Final conclusion...I need to go back to both places

  13. From CNBC The auditing firm for Trump Media and the auditor’s owner were charged Friday with “massive fraud” by the Securities and Exchange Commission for work that affected more than 1,500 SEC filings, the federal regulator announced. The auditor, BF Borgers CPA and its owner Benjamin Borgers have agreed to be permanently suspended from practicing as accountants before the SEC, and also agreed to pay a combined $14 million in civil penalties, with admitting or denying the allegations, the SEC said. The agency, calling BF Borgers a “sham audit mill,” said the company and its owner engaged in “deliberate and systemic failures to comply with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board ... standards in its audits and reviews incorporated in more than 1,500 SEC filings from January 2021 through June 2023,” according to a press release.

    Sauna outside Rio

Bangu is not a rundown slum but a quiet working class exurb. There's a pretty shopping mall converted from some old factories. Food out here is notably cheaper but less fancy and quality than down south. My half-hour Uber from Sao Conrado was ~$10US a couple years ago. You can even do a train adventure from the Central station in downtown Rio. It wasn't hard to get to Bangu but a little hard to find Casa Boate. The facility is okay and has a breezy semi-outdoor section. I did not find anyone to my fancy, but my tastes have gotten too caviar and champagne. Let's say these are guys who can't be sure they'll get enough customers in Copacabana to make it worth the trip.

  16. From Pattaya Mail At 79, Wichai Kaewintarathi earns a living by selling traditional musical instruments from northeastern Thailand, such as the khaen and pin along Jomtien Beach. Originally from Nakhon Phanom Province, Uncle Wichai has been in this profession for over 40 years. The musical instruments he sells are crafted by his wife, who is skilled in this art. He then showcases these instruments to tourists, presenting them as authentic northeastern musical instruments. Every morning Uncle Wichai sets up his stall at Jomtien Beach, where he remains until evening. In the evenings, he travels to South Pattaya on a song taew (baht-bus) to continue his sales, offering his items for prices ranging from one hundred to one thousand baht. Uncle Wichai’s sales technique involves not just selling but also performing. He entertains passersby by playing melodies on the khaen and showcasing various songs, adding vibrancy to the tourist scene. Through his efforts, he not only earns a livelihood but also promotes awareness of northeastern cultural music.

  17. +1 I would always visit this bar in all my visits, mainly to appreciate the beauty of the models and their well choreographed performances. Just need to add offing a guy from there to this. Perhaps an invitation to sit for a drink first would be good, just to get a feel of whether they are even interested.

  18. it's indeed is, it's why I, who usually look for a smile before deciding on the boy rarely off from Jupiter but almost always visit it on my first or 2nd night in Bangkok. For esthetics of looking at their handsome crew and then look for earthly pleasures nearby, in other bars

  19. I did not notice any change recently but can say that street behavior largely depends of boys , some are clingier than others. Generally it's like you described above - clingy in bar but reserved on the street and I like it for the same reason - fear of attracting unwanted attention and offending local sensibilities. In the past I recall few extreme cases when boy suggested he will follow me at distance and we meet in front of hotel. I suspected it had more to do with desire not being seen walking with man by prospective girl customers. One even plainly admitted that.

  21. Agree that it's not an overwhelming task. But coaxing myself to be interested to a guy sporting a "resting b*tch face" can be a challenge. 😜 But I join Shax in this resolution to off a Jupiter guy next time I'm in Bangkok.

  22. That could be the case or it could be a number of other reasons. Whatever it may be, I hope they both got something good out of the arrangement. My objective for the next trip - try and off a guy from Jupiter 🤣

  26. Upsetting indeed for both of you but I' say it's more an asshole story than taxi driver one. Similar situation happened to one of our members while walking to hotel with boy, passerby said something to which boy responded , no further commotion though. Later when asked buy explained that guy said something about him being whore to which boy responded, "after I finish with this one I go and fuck you' or something to this effect.

  27. I wouldn't postpone any trip due to weather as it tends to change so there's always hope ( and a danger of deterioration ) . Wild swings intensified , I agree but are not complete new . I have daily habit of checking temperatures history in my city ( easy click, they have it ready) and for yesterday May 1st it varied from +28 to -2 with snow, both extremes within living memory. Those missing cherry blossoms still had whole Japan to discover so I wouldn't be too sorry for them.

  28. Part 10 Not wanting to overthink T's proposal, I threw caution to the wind and agreed to meet up. I told him to meet me in Starbucks at Siam Paragon so I can keep myself busy window shopping and people watching while waiting for him. Surprisingly, T arrived on time and was all smiles when he handed me a paper bag. I had a look and was shocked to see that he brought the shirt he keeps mentioning that he will be giving me. I was very touched but also a bit clueless on how to react - as I was never in this kind of scenario with a bar boy before. I quickly gathered my wits, complimented the shirt and thanked T for his gift. We then walked towards the food court for a quick bite and then took a taxi back to the hotel. Given my time with Singha a few hours ago, I wasn't really hankering for another full on session. I was happy and satisfied spending time cuddling, chatting, watching videos in his mobile and intensely making out in between. By past 7, I can feel T getting restless and I suggested that he can make his way to the bar so he will not be late. He responded saying that he wants to stay instead and take care of me (translation: that I pay more including the bar off fee so he can spend the night). I quickly gauged the situation concluding that since I am enjoying my time with him anyway, what he's suggesting is not a bad idea at all. I asked him where he's talking me tonight in which he replied suggesting going to Fake Club. I responded with a hard no and suggested it doesn't need to be a gay club (but most definitely not a girly gogo club!). He pondered for a while and said don't worry as he will choose a good place. He then called and let his bar know that he is already offed for tonight. We then took a shower and that's when he started being more playfully aggressive saying that with all the making out we did, he needs to release before we go out tonight. As I have already recovered from my afternoon at S'sense, I gladly complied and gave him a hand (and my other body parts!) Afterwards, we stepped out of the hotel and he took the lead and hailed a taxi. I was a bit concerned when I realised that we are making our way to Khaosan. It's been ages since I was in the area - part of me feels that I have outgrown the place (that or Silom/Surawong roads got more magnetism for me). I was about to protest but I stopped myself allowing T to lead and me to go with the flow. We found ourselves in what seems like a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant which I thoroughly enjoyed - Thai food is great but having a bit of break from it can be good at times. With our stomachs full, we walked for a bit until we made a turn to an alley of shops which then led to a bar. I think Brick Bar is the name and I was relieved that it's not a lady gogo bar but rather a live music one with bands playing both English and Thai songs. We were stopped by the entrance and was asked for ID, I told T that I don't bring my passport everywhere but I only have a photo of it on my phone. He talked to the staff who then led us to our seat on the upper level overlooking the stage. Oh - and they didn't ask to see photo of my ID The place was impressively large and the bands who played that night were impressively decent. I was also pleased to pay "non-boy bar" pricing for drinks this time. The crowd that night was good fun as well. Given that it was a week night - it was busy and crowded but the vibe is more chill than manic. And T seems to be enjoying as well. After a few drinks, he had his arms wrapped around my shoulder and keeps on giving me quick pecks on the cheek and neck. I was overly conscious as this is not a gay bar and others may find issue with public displays. However, no one seems to mind and when one waiter who brought our drinks pointed to me and T and put his fingers together and gave us a thumbs up sign, I began to relax. It must be the drinks or the music or the vibe but we eventually found ourselves tipsy and horny. We made our way back to the hotel and was making out as soon as the door was closed. In the taxi, T discreetly held my hand and placed it on his rock hard cock. Good thing the driver was distracted multitasking between driving and his mobile phone (!). We went straight to the bed, took our clothes off and continued our business. For some reason, T's manly and musky smell that time was so intoxicating and makes my libido overflow that I was low-key relieved he said no when I asked him if he wants us to go to shower first. We took turns pleasuring each other with him eventually getting on top of me, slowly entering me while my face is buried on his chest still enchanted with his manly smell. After we both finished, we just lie there arms wrapped around each other too sleepy and tired to move yet happy and satisfied.

  29. I was one of them but decided to pull out - tripus interruptus. With climate change well and truly upon us, who knows what weather to expect these days? We arrived in Japan at what we thought was the start of the cherry blossom season this year and started to panic when we saw that there were still only buds on the trees. Due to climate change the blossoms bloomed the latest in 10 years. Luckily, we were there long enough to see them in all their glory. I feel sorry for all those tourists who had booked cherry blossom trips and missed out. I'll keep an eager eye on Bangkok temperatures. I can't wait to get back there.

  30. No real tips or tricks. I found a standalone house in AirBnB in Modelio, which was fine. This time I'm staying closer to Chapinero and again renting a standalone house. It's just considerably more expensive. In Medellin I stayed in an apartment with a doorman and it was a pain having every escort or Grindr hookup sign in.

  33. I'm in Tokyo now. Thanks to all these valuable tips, I had fun this evening. Used "Independence" as recommended. You can just send an email. No need to use the elaborate form. The location was not on a back alley, but just about twenty yards from the train station exit on the street that runs parallel to the train route. Otherwise, Draden's account above of his experience with Independence was identical to mine. . I took the ¥ 18,000 option ($115 thanks to the very weak yen) for a one-hour "swap": 30 minutes with one young man, then 30 minutes with a second one. The price is all inclusive and covers the room and all fees. No extra tip is expected. Both guys were good at kissing and sucking. Both were good bottoms, although one was small and extremely tight. One looked like his photo. However, the second guy was 6' and looked nothing like the 5'9" Dylan I'd picked, but he did speak fairly good English as was claimed for Dylan. And he was enthusiastic and talented. I was erroneously thinking that the cost in Tokyo was wildly higher than the cost in São Paulo. But on reflection, that is not true. At Lagoa my total for the entry fee, two rooms, and two garotos could easily be 600 reals ($116, almost exactly the same price I paid in Japan this evening)! Of course, in Brazil we get to do more preliminary screening — but that does not always guarantee the ace performances I got tonight in Japan. I still prefer Brasileiros and their saunas, but I'm happily surprised that my days in Tokyo will include some good company in bed.

  35. ...which can be a problem, as my story here will show. This was from years ago. Chosen boy from gogo bar and me got into a taxi starting from Surawong Road towards my hotel in the Sukhumvit area. Along the way, the boy asked the driver why he was taking the scenic route. In response, the driver said something offensive about him being a sex worker. A heated argument broke out, and it was obvious we had to alight from the cab before things got worse. On the sidewalk, boy said sorry but he was too upset to be a companion tonight. He would go home. I didn't have to tip him, he said. We parted ways, each hailing separate cabs to our separate beds.
