hi @babybear2 Definitely São Paulo, for the greatest sextacation. If you're into a classic tourist mood, Rio de Janeiro offers more options, but I'd recommend checking the weather—Rio with thunderstorms isn't enjoyable at all and can/will spoil the experience, As it happened to me, it was rainy the whole week, so i didnt do too much outdoor stuff As for the GPs, there's no doubt in my mind that São Paulo's Lagoa is the best. I doubt there's a better place in the Americas than Lagoa. I was there yesterday, and not only was it bustling with many clients and tons of beautiful GPs, but it was also incredibly fun. The atmosphere was so joyful, you could feel it in the air. Call me cheesy, but it was one of the best days of mysexlife—it was everything I ever wanted and more. it was a candy shop. didnt know where to look or what to grab. Surprisingly, I'm not even sore with all those 9"+. At one point, I was sitting with three stunning GPs—one blonde, one brunette, and one mulatto—and could have had three more if i wanted, so there were other clients sitting with hot GPs. I'm already making reservations for SP in August; I'm unsure if I'll give Rio another try—117 and Point 202 don't offer the same quality of GPs or facilities that one can find in São Paulo's Lagoas. Once I'm settled, I'll write up a couple of reports. I hope Lagoa remains as good as it's always been, but last night was heavenly—one for the records. I'll cherish that Saturday forever, to tell my grandkids4 points -

Part 3 With just one day left before Jake's arrival, I decided to take things easy since he seems to have some plans and places he would like to see. One smart move on my part —I made sure to bring up the topic of compensation in advance this time around. However, his response was a bit unclear. He seemed to think that me handling everything for the next three days would suffice. He mentioned wanting to enjoy Bangkok without the hassle of worrying about MB work and finding clients. While it sounded reasonable, deep down, I couldn't shake the feeling that I ought to do something in return when he leaves. I woke up and spent a few hours responding to emails and checking on the progress of work back home. Mates always nag me about not being able to relax and disconnect properly. But I think that investing time to stay on top of things now prevents a mountain of stress later on post vacation. Plus, it ensures that my vacation doesn't eat into all my leave credits, leaving me with nothing for the future. This approach has served me well so far, though I guess everyone has their own way of doing things. When my stomach started rumbling, I decided to call it a day and went out for lunch. I stumbled upon a Chinese noodle house near McDonald's on Silom Rd. It turned out to be a poor choice—the service was cold and indifferent. Despite being customer number two at that time, I felt completely ignored by the four staff. I took the initiative to grab a menu myself, but when I sat down, the waiter pointed to a QR code on the table and swiftly walked away. The code led me to a Thai website, leaving me to fend for myself. Hungry and frustrated, I opted for McDonald's next door to fill up. Problem solved, albeit in a less exciting way. With my hunger satisfied, I made my way to Green Massage for a foot massage. They tried to upsell me to a full-body massage, but I declined, citing my recent meal and the potential mess they may need to mop off. A foot massage there is always a delight, and I've never left disappointed. It's also a perfect way to kill time before catching the boy show next block. Later in the evening, I found myself at Arena in Silom Plaza. It wasn't high on my list of places to visit prior to this trip, but recent events with Tawan made this visit compelling. Not much seemed to have changed—the atmosphere, the process, and the quality of masseurs all remained consistent. Yet, it still seemed to be the go-to spot for meeting Tawan-like guys, at least for the time being. As night fell, I headed over to Screwboys, which was quickly becoming my favorite spot. Their current selection was on point, and I couldn't resist checking it out. One boy caught my attention. Not my usual type but his overall playful demeanour onstage and how he vibes with other guys looks entertaining. I quickly signalled to invite him to sit with me which he smilingly obliged. T as he introduced himself is from Vietnam - he also mentioned that it will be his birthday in three days. I nodded politely which he interpreted that I don't believe him. He then whipped out his phone and showed me a photo of his passport. I smiled and asked if he would like a drink. T seems eager to secure business as he instantly became touchy and leading my hand to explore various parts of his body. A few moments later, we were kissing like we are the only people in the room. This left me a bit embarassed as I am personally not a fan of public displays like this. I asked him if he would like a second drink. He responded saying that will it be alright if his brother can join us and have that drink instead. Min joined us and minutes later was doing the same routine as T. I really couldn't complain being flanked and alternately kissed by two gorgeous guys. I was shocked to learn though that they are actual brothers (as per T: "mother, father same same "). I can't even process the fact that they both would like to spend the night. At the end, I politely declined the proposition. I just can't wrap my head around that kind of scenario. It eventually ended with me and T marching out and doing a 7-11 pitstop. In the counter, T handed me a 100 baht note since he purchased a pack of ciggies. I appreciated the gesture but made it a point to add it to his tip. At the hotel, we had a lively discussion over microwaved food and he's just a chatterbox talking about his life in Bangkok and his family in Vietnam. I prefer not to participate much in this type of conversation as these can be potentially used later for financial help requests. But T have a very animated and entertaining way of storytelling that I can't help but to engage. We then showered together and things started to heat up again. Initially, I was concerned that his over the top touchy and flirty gestures in the bar is just for show to convince clients for an off - but he remained consistent all throughout. We had a quick shower, a bit more chat and a few minutes later, told him that Jetlag is calling me. He pulled me closer to his chest, kissed me in the forehead and said our goodnights.3 points

I tend to ignore completely aspiring hi-tech places with menus only on QR code or accepting card payments only ( no cash) and patronize them only if pressed by circumstances. Nothing wrong with being progressive and up to date with technology but at end of day what it is is just limiting customer choice for business convenience. Majority but not everybody when travelling purchases SIM with data plans ( even if I do) and some people may be wary of using credit or debit in foreign locales (I'm) It can be done and without compromising brotherly modesty if they wish, speaking from personal experience described in this forum few years ago.2 points

I think the Thai Ministry of Tourism should toss this forum a commission for all the spur-of-the-moment trips it inspires. I mean, who wouldn't feel a twinge of envy and rush to book a trip after scrolling through those Thailand adventures and tips written here? So, there I was, bitten by the travel bug, and voila! ------ found myself booking an unplanned trip to the land of smiles. Touching down in Bangkok after a longer than usual stopover in Taiwan, I braced myself for the infamous immigration snake lines. But despite the full queues, every counter was promptly manned, and I breezed through. Maybe because cause of the build up in immigration, baggage claim took less than a minute, thanks to my luck and eagle eyes spotting my luggage as soon as I approached the carousel. Sorted out some cash and a SIM card, then off to my pre-booked pickup. As I got whisked off from my pickup point, I was hit with that warm, unmistakable Bangkok air, making me buzz with excitement and giddiness for the adventures ahead. Hotel check-in was expected to be a breeze, yet I found myself low-key panicking as my card repeatedly acted up declining the transaction. It finally dawned on me that I had forgotten to adjust the low maximum spend setting—a habit whenever I travel. The allocated room seemed reasonable initially, but its issues became apparent later. After showering off my jetlag, I hailed a taxi for my pre-booked appointment at S'sense Spa in Suan Plu. Knott was still at the spa and appeared delighted to see me. Upon asking if he really remember me, he promptly identified me by removing my socks pointing at my ankle tattoo, a gesture that left me both shocked and impressed. The quality of my session with Knott, both massage and cheeky extras, remained consistently good as I remembered. This explains my choice of S'sense as my first stop—a reassuring and safe start to the trip, saving the fun experimentation, risks, and disappointments for later. Following purchase of supplies and stocking the fridge, jetlag began to rear its ugly head. Nevertheless, I resolved to push through and explore Silom. To my disappointment, Tawan remained shuttered, prompting me to wax nostalgic reminiscing nights spent there, particularly recalling that going to Tawan was my first foray into Silom nightlife. My first ever off was with Tawan's hunky Lek, given my hotel was close by (the now defunct Glitz). Although tempted to inquire about familiar faces nearby, shyness prevailed, fearing potential embarrassment if they were not from Tawan. I strolled towards Hotmale, noted a familiar performance and lineup except for a cute, smiling hunk whom I promptly invited to join me. He's from Myanmar and only been working there for four months. He has a very sweet and friendly demeanour. Being a rookie, he seems to be very dependent on translation apps. I typically don't mind language barriers, often finding them endearing and cute. But given my fatigue from travel and jetlag, I decided to listen to my body and give tonight a pass. I bid him farewell with a bit generous tip, sincerely promising to return. And that, folks, is how I ended up with no off on my first night in Bangkok!1 point

From The Thaiger Passenger service charges (PSC) at six major Thai airports have seen an increase, as announced by the Airports of Thailand Plc. The charges, applicable on both domestic and international departing flights, have been raised at Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Don Mueang, Hat Yai, Phuket and Suvarnabhumi airports. For international flights, the fees have been increased from 700 to 730 baht, while for domestic flights, a rise from 100 to 130 baht has been implemented. AOT President Kerati Kijmanawat announced the change today, April 1, explaining that the increase in the service charge would cover the cost of AOT’s Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS). The CUPPS includes automatic services such as Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE), which handles boarding passes, Common-Use Self Service (CUSS) for airport check-ins, and Common Use Bag Drop (CUBD).1 point

From CNBC Trump Media plunges more than 25% after company reports net loss of $58 million in 2023 The share price of Trump Media plunged Monday after the social media app company closely tied to former President Donald Trump reported a net loss of $58.2 million on revenue of just $4.1 million in 2023. Trump Media & Technology Group shares were trading down by more than 25% around 1:08 p.m. ET. The losses last year by Trump Media — the owner of the Truth Social app routinely used by the former president — could continue for some time, according to the company. “TMTG expects to incur operating losses for the foreseeable future,” says the filing, which came a week after the company began trading under the ticker DJT on the Nasdaq. The filing also warns shareholders that Trump’s involvement in the company could put it at greater risk than other social media companies. TMTG also disclosed to regulators that the company had identified “material weaknesses in its internal control over financial reporting” when it prepared a previous financial statement for the first three quarters of 2023. As of Monday, Trump Media said these “identified material weaknesses continue to exist.”1 point -

I value my privacy too much. However, to use the elevator, you'll need the keycard. Perhaps someone else from the forum who has stayed at the Heritage and brought guests can provide more information. Regarding the rates, it's 200 reais, but if you want the house specialty, the leite , it's better to ask in advance. Most likely, they will provide. The girl who was kidnaped was murdered. I'm in Mexico City this week and there is much video of the vigilantes doling-out justice as they deem it proper. Such acts of instant justice are not unusual in Mexico. Sometimes the accused who is beaten or killed was actually innocent. I remember one case where plain clothed police were pursuing a criminal who shouted the men chasing him were child abductors. One police officer was beaten to one inch of his life, so to speak, and the true criminal - suspected for child abduction himself- escaped. We see acts like this worldwide in communities with low education and/or where confidence in the police doesn't exist. No different than in the "old west" in the USA when people were hanged for assumed criminal activity ... and without a trial.1 point -

For those reluctant for whatever reason to travel outside the Silom area, there are ample massage offerings in the Siom-Surawong rectangle. Scattered along Silom road between the Saladeang BTS Station and Soi 6 you'll find a half dozen or so shops, not counting Adam Massage on Soi 4, perhaps the longest-running shop in the area. Turn right onto Silom Soi 6 and you'll find 75+ guys working the shops on that short stretch of road. Continue past the dogleg turn onto Soi Tarntawan and then turn right on Surawong where you'll pass by five all-mixed shops. There's a lone mixed shop on Patpong One and a few more small ones on Surawong before you get to Soi Thaniya.1 point

My fiance and I just watched the Austrian movie Eismayer, a true story about a recruit who falls in love with a far older (and bald) Sergeant Major. The gorgeous recruit actually proposes to the NCO. As it turns out, the recruit (before marrying him) gets accepted for officer school. I presume at this point the younger man is earning more. Quite an amazing story. Both the actual younger soldier (now presumably a 2nd lieutenant) and the actor playing him are gorgeous. As you might guess, the real soldiers are in uniform, actors on the other side: According to those uniforms, their ranks are now Warrant Officer I for the older Falak-Eismayer, and Officer Cadet for the younger (Mario) Falak-Eismayer. I guess love doesn't know age, rank, or amount of hair. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_ranks_of_Austria1 point -

I applied for my visa to travel to Brazil on the weekend of March 16th and it was approved around noon on Monday, March 18th. Based on this thread though it sounds like I may or may not get to actually use it when I travel to RJ in mid-April. In other (somewhat related) news, a friend of mine from Brazil applied for a tourist visa to travel to the United States in 2022 and it was approved in late-2023. He made the trek here earlier this year. Apparently, the food is too spicy and everything is more expensive than he thinks it should be (other than Apple products which are less expensive for some reason) but he is a fan and is planning a return trip in June. He wants to go to Vegas. If you are wondering, yes, he has been known to fuck tourists in exchange reais but - being the intelligent young man that he is - he left that off his application and instead provided documentation concerning his job selling insurance. During the interview, he also apparently stated that he wanted to travel to the United States for futevôlei tournaments. In any case, it’s nice to have Brazil visit me and Vegas can be fun in very small doses.1 point -

But you are more than welcome to donate to him in his retirement. I'm sure he'll figure out a way to need your money. Somehow. I'm up about 150 % on SOXL and FNGU since last Fall. My nephew, who is nerdy smart, is now a millionaire thanks to the shares he bought in Fall 2022 and just kept buying. He's up like 500 %. So I'm fine. But thanks for your concern. Good luck on the investing. Most of my net worth is in real estate. For some strange reason, I don't go bankrupt. Or get near bankrupt again, and decide to "share the wealth" with genocidal Russian leaders with rich pals who bail me out, with strings always attached. I guess I'm just weird that way. I'd be careful, though. From 1996 to 2000 I organized two statewide coalitions in Oregon that stopped Enron from fucking up the state the way they did California. My job was to convince regulators and politicians it was a scam. We stopped Enron, completely, and won everything we wanted. So I know a little bit about scammers. You've just got to be careful out there, buddy. Of course, the whole thing with Enron was to make the corruption so complicated no one could understand it. DJT is not that smart. It's a meme stock. Not well put together, just like his crappy stuff made in China. And he knew if he could use Genocide Money to get it listed his cult would buy, buy, buy. It's a simple concept. Pyramid scheme sort of thing. Might not make a good long term investment. But enjoy the ride.1 point -

Part 2 Writing this trip report has proven to be quite the challenge. Balancing daily activities with the need to have fun, reflect on experiences, and put thoughts to paper has left me significantly behind schedule. Upon returning to my hotel from Hotmale , I was eagerly looking forward to succumbing to the embrace of jetlag-induced sleep. However, my hopes were dashed as I discovered that my room was plagued by an annoying noise coming from the balcony, which to my horror ,housed the condenser units of adjacent rooms. I endured the disturbance for the night and approached the hotel staff the next day. Thankfully, they promptly assigned me a much quieter and better room. Having to repack and move was a hassle given that I have nested a fair bit with my stuff already scattered everywhere in the room. Once settled in my new room, I received a message from Jake, a Philipino MB I met from a previous trip. Given this trip is unplanned, it turned out that he'll be in Bangkok as well but with friends and a week later than my arrival. We agreed to have his incoming flight rebooked so that we can meet for a few days before he set off with his mates. Too much drama with this rebooking as I can't use my credit card to pay. Jake said that in Manila, sometimes the airline will look for the card used to pay for the flight during check-in. And he can be deplaned if he's not able to produce it. Still I can't see the logic . Must be an anti fraud thing Deciding to fill my time, I ventured to Platinum Mall in search of souvenirs and treats to bring back home. Although the mall's offerings remained largely unchanged, I managed to find a few trinkets and enjoy a meal at the Foodcourt on the top floor. Opting for a change of pace, I hopped on the BTS to Saphan Kwai station and decided to try out 15M. I was asked to remove my footwear before climbing up the second level. I was expecting to be given slippers at this point but was shocked to learn that I will be barefoot the entire time. Some masseurs are in the reception and while I am browsing the menu, noted how much photo enhancement were done to the photos they send to clients. Generally I found the massage experience to be underwhelming, questioning the value of opting for the longer 1.5-hour session as the quality seemed lacking. As evening approached, I made my way to Dreamboys, only to notice a significant reduction in the lineup compared to my previous visit. Disheartened by the sparse lineup and boring atmosphere, I made a swift exit, seeking a livelier alternative. I then marched straight to Screwboys, where I encountered many familiar faces missing from Dreamboys. It was a full on contingent on a small cramped stage. I was pleased to spot Mai among the performers, his boyish and manly charm is always a welcome sight. Among the performers, I invited and struck up a conversation with Boy, a Vietnamese who used to work at dreamboys, who surprisingly remembered our previous encounter (complete with details!)After enjoying the show, I proposed spending more time together, although Boy expressed his fatigue (not enough sleep for two days) and suggested a short time. I responded saying that I am in the same situation as him and may be asleep way before he did. We agreed, settled my bill and made our way to the hotel.1 point

This reminded me of an American woman who was attacked for stealing a child during a Holy Week parade in a rural Guatemalan town. I looked it up. It was 30 years ago to the day. Time flies. She was a tourist and had not stolen any children. But there were lots of rumours at the time about foreigners stealing children for organ transplants and there she was, taking photos of kids in the square. The boy was only missing for about hour before he was found, but it was too late. I recall police took her to a government building, but then left her there alone as a violent mob attacked. She was beaten until the men believed she was dead. She did live, but one of the more recent stories I saw said she's been living in a nursing home as her injuries were severe and permanent. From the stories I saw, these mob attacks on foreign tourists do happen occasionally in Mexico and Guatemala, but more commonly on locals.0 points -
7 Myanmar workers killed in crane collapse
Ruthrieston reacted to reader for a topic
From Pattaya Mail A construction crane collapsed at a factory site on Mar 29 in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong Province, resulting in the deaths of seven Myanmar workers and leaving many others injured. The incident occurred at a steel smelting plant currently under construction, boasting a workforce of about 3,000 and a registered capital of 6 billion baht. Following the tragedy, a tense standoff ensued between the workers’ relatives and the factory management over compensation demands. The situation between the two sides reportedly escalated as the bereaved families and co-workers of the deceased workers prevented rescue teams from accessing the site to retrieve their bodies. The group initially demanded 5 million baht per victim from the construction company responsible for the project. As negotiations stalled, the confrontation grew, leading to a need for law enforcement and emergency reinforcements to secure the area. The deadlock was broken late that evening when a delegation from the Worker Assistance Group for Myanmar (WAG) intervened. Their mediation led to a settlement, agreed upon inside the factory premises, which the waiting workers welcomed. The agreed compensation was 1.6 million baht for each of the deceased’s families, with the factory also committing to cover the full funeral costs. The amount was to be sourced from both the factory funds and social security benefits. The agreement facilitated the resumption of recovery operations, allowing for the remaining six bodies to be processed for autopsies. With the compensation issue resolved, police said they are now set to investigate the incident, focusing on safety standards and practices at the construction site. (NNT)0 points
