Surabaya Indonesia 4 nts- Feb 2024
garygx and 6 others reacted to floridarob for a topic
Wanted to try someplace different, so I came to Indonesias 2nd largest city from Jakarta. I decided to take the train, 8 hrs vs flying to see some scenery for a change and they have a Luxury Executive train with lie flat seats....glad I did , was really interesting, left on time and arrived 5 minutes early- downtown to downtown, no long taxi's to/from airports, security, bag check , blah, blah, blah. Stayed at the Doubletree hotel, got upgraded to a nice suite. Wish Doubletree service and rooms were this nice in USA. Also as a Diamond member, free b'fast, and executive lounge tea time and free cocktails for 2 hrs nightly and canapes/finger foods. The breakfast buffet was impressive here and in Jakarta, both Doubletrees Grindr was the most popular app, indonesia are a lot of fake pics, so a video call request filters out the flakes. About half were free hookups and half massage/money. The problem with free hookups, they only want to when they are horny, so if you're not ready when they are, missed opportunities, working guys will come when you are ready. First days I had massage guys come over, one was good and 2nd meh. ($18usd-25usd) and a freebie, 22 yrs old that was so innocent about life that is was cute....he came buckets 😲 My last night I went with an expensive massage guy 600,000 idr($38usd), 1.5 hr massage and half way thru the massage he was so horny, he asked if we could fuck and he's finish the massage after....very good sex in almost every position, he had a nice dick with a huge head, I'm getting horny writing about it. After, finished the massage like he said, he'd worked at a hotel spa before and knew how to do professional massage. Why do I usually find my best guys on the last night?? One thing I like about Indonesia is most guys are cut.....traveling in Brazil, latin america and asia, is almost all uncut for so many years....being with cut guys is a nice change. I'd come back here again, not much to do sightseeing, not that I do that anywhere, they do have 2 huge malls that hold some stat in ASEAN countries as being the 2nd biggest or some shit like that. Or a ton of Mosques, if you are into that stuff.... I drop a few pics of the train and hotel............ Off to Bali today, flying.7 points -

Removed from Delta Airlines flight for wearing revealing clothing...

https://nypost.com/2024/02/06/lifestyle/delta-airlines-removes-reprimands-woman-for-not-wearing-a-bra/ "A frustrated female flyer is pushing back after Delta Airlines staff threatened to kick her off the plane for not wearing a bra. Lisa Archbold was traveling from Salt Lake City to San Francisco on Jan. 22 when the tit snit took off, very suddenly putting her plans in peril. The self-employed DJ, who had just attended the world-famous Sundance film festival, alleged that after “every single person” had taken their seat, she was “loudly” summoned to the front of the plane. Once there, The Independent reported, the New Zealand expat was herded out into the passenger gangway and given a stern reprimand for her “baggy” t-shirt and long pants, which Delta employees called “revealing” and “offensive attire.”.." Good for Delta. My only question would be why they waited until everyone was seated to pull her off the plane. But maybe that's when she took her jacket off. I'm not interested in seeing a Kiwi flaunt her breasts. 😉2 points -

Biden didn't create the crisis. Trump didn't fix the crisis in his 4 years. Absolute bollocks as everything you write typically is. The bill was defeated even though it was pretty much everything Republicans wanted because Trump wants the issue. Republicans are putting politics before National security. That's just how irresponsible they are. As for you, you support a rapist. Anything else you vomit here is made worthless by that simple fact.2 points -

I find these guys incredibly sexy. From Thai PBS World More than 5,000 Muay Thai boxers from Thailand and 60 other countries took part in a ceremony to pay respects to Muay Thai teachers during the Amazing Muay Thai World Festival 2024, held on Tuesday at the Rajabhakti Park in Hua Hin to commemorate world Muay Thai Day. The event was presided over by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and was attended by Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Defence Minister Sutin Klungsang, Culture Minister Sermsak Pongpanich, Tourism and Sports Minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol and Army Commander-in-Chief General Charoenchai Hinthao. The event featured a card stunt by more than 700 drones and a fireworks display. It was also intended to set a new Guinness world record for the largest single gathering of Muay Thai boxers.2 points

I wonder if any scenes were filmed at the JC Complex. 🥴 From Pattaya News The big budget highly anticipated Thai action thriller, “Pattaya Heat: All Men Are Brothers,” is set to ignite the silver screen as it makes its debut on Thursday, February 8th, 2024. The red carpet was rolled out on February 6th for a star-studded lineup of top Thai actors, artists, and renowned influencers, as they gathered to celebrate the launch of this groundbreaking movie at the ‘Gala Premiere’ event at Siam Paragon. Pattaya Heat is a gripping action thriller that delves into the so-called dark underbelly of the world-famous resort city. The movie follows a deadly game of cat and mouse between the main character “Tot” and a menacing mafia gang. The blockbuster film featuring an A list of Thai actors was shot on location across Pattaya and will feature popular locations such as Walking Street and Pattaya Beach.2 points

This gay-straight debate is a bit useless. For some people fucking is not a big deal, it feels good, sometimes you can get money for that. Some people can avoid hunger doing so, hunger is a horrible feeling, people do everything to avoid that. I can eat with chopsticks, for fun or to be in line with the restaurant culture, no big deal, I dont care. But you would not say, I am a bit Asian or I am not 100% European. Its pointless. I just eat with chopsticks. Culturally I have nothing to do with Asia. Its the question, whom you wanna fuck in your night dreams - that would answer, if one likes more men or woman or both.2 points

Curtis Sliwa and the Guardian Angels did some good work in the late 1970s on the NYC subways. But he eventually became a deranged, violent right-wing nut. This story describes him succintly: Sliwa, who has in the past fabricated stories of criminal behavior — by his own admission — to sensationalize the issue, continued on, blaming the altercation on the groups of migrants being bussed to the city from border states. “We’ve got to take 42nd Street back,” he said. “These illegals think they own this state and rule the night. This is our country. If they can’t abide by the rules than we will kick them back from where they came.”1 point -

I became a new retiree in Pattaya in September 2022 - but I have been visiting since 2014 off and on. So, I cannot speak for what has happened in the last 20 years. But I can share an observation that any of us visiting or living here has probably noticed - the distribution of people on the online apps (Grindr, Hornet, HeeSay, Romeo, etc.) - which in my opinion has shifted: From Asians and Farangs TO Russians, Asians, and Farangs I would venture to say that the Russians represent between 30% to 40% of the online community in Grindr and Hornet. In Romeo - predominantly a Farang and somewhat Asian hangout place it has shrunk in popularity but has not see this big influx of Russians. Regarding HeeSay (formerly BLUED), I am a new member - and I see a small farang representation and a much bigger Asian representation. Do you all think this shift in what we see of "who is online" is representative of what is happening in Pattaya in 2024? Regarding the 3 forums - you can definitely see that they are shrinking and dying off. What they have been replaced with I am not sure that there are any other social media vehicles that fill the role that these 3 forums did (Gaybutton, Sawatdee Gay Thailand, and GayGuides).1 point -

According to Wikipedia, "While the film does not mention any QAnon conspiracy theories, critics and anti-trafficking experts have pointed out that the film embellishes the reality of child exploitation and stokes QAnon conspiracy theories, referring to a "belief that a core group of devil-worshiping elite run the world". Both Ballard and star Caviezel have been public about their belief in conspiracy theories of the QAnon movement...", to address your curiosity. As for the ER situation, there are certain injuries which should prompt questioning, especially if the mechanism of the injury described by the patient is unusual (for example, a black eye explained by running into a door). If he brought you in because you had a kidney stone stuck in your ureter, then that question would seem inappropriate. I don't know the laws for all jurisdictions, obviously, but I doubt it's against the law for a nurse not to ask about domestic violence every time a child or other family member brings a parent into the ER for any reason. Of course, the question must be asked under certain situations. I can't comment about your particular situation, since you didn't share the reason for your ER visit. My fiance did bring me into the ER several months ago for, in fact, a stone in my ureter, and I was not asked about domestic violence.1 point

I do a lot of threesomes. Some boys I already know work happily together. But generally my MO is to pick the boy that I want as second, and we discuss and then invite the third. Sometimes in a bar there are a number of boys around the table and I might just jokingly point at two of them and count 1-2-3 on my fingers and see what their reaction is. Sometimes it is just laughed off, sometimes it is met with enthusiastic nodding, then it is 'game-on'. I also find it helpful to have discussed with the boys who might do what to whom? The first time in the room for a new threesome might be a bit slow as the boys are often shy of one another. But with the lights lowered, and a little gentle direction from me and it usually works out ok, although obviously some better than others. Once a threesome has been established it usually just gets better and better. Perhaps with food offered afterwards as they chat and get to know one another. Winner Boys should be excellent for threesomes, established boys like Nam and Bank are usually totally at ease with them, Nam in particular is usually very proactive in getting the 'party' started!1 point
-
I'm sure all the responses are accurate, but if it were me, I would be asking the boy of interest. Don't you think the boys know where to go? And I would go with his recommendation because it would be a room he is probably familiar with, likes, and feels comfortable there.1 point

+1 The old Dusit Thani was also my favorite splurge hotel. The new one appears to maintain the same iconic roof top bar that adorned it. The "Dusit" rooms were actually suites with the decor Keith describes above. And never experienced an issue with guests. Here's artist's rendering of one of their better rooms in the new version. I believe I've read it's going to be a multi-use tower.1 point -

Phuket Bars Didn't go to any, next time! Massage 4 Massage: Only went here this trip but quite glad this place still exists, although they have moved just around the corner from where they previously were. I went with 3 different boys here, one of which I've been seeing since 2019 who is always good fun. He massaged my legs for probably 5 minutes before the main event started, but he always gives me a good time. Another who was messaging me on Grindr on my last trip to Phuket (2022) I finally got the chance to try, and he was very good and happily bottomed for me, and another boy who was relatively new was also quite good and bottomed for me also (requested an inflated tip which I just had to laugh at). I always have a good time here. Hotel Baan Paradise: Situated in one of the streets in the paradise complex, it was decent enough and close to all the action. I had a balcony room so was able to look out onto the street and watch the people go by. It is a pretty lively area with people coming and going, plenty of restaurants, bars and massage shops (for gays and straights), and it is only a short walk to the beach. Other Didn't do much else here, and although Phuket isn't one of my favourite destinations, I still feel drawn to it every once in a while. Maybe for the massage boys, who knows. It is quite a big island so I may try staying in a different area next time. The Phuket Smart Bus runs up and down the west coast from the airport down to Rawai and it is reasonably priced for 100 THB one way. Doesn't run super often though, maybe once an hour or twice in the busy periods. Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) A boy I met in Jomtien a few years ago went back home to Korat and asks me occasionally to come visit him so I thought I would considering I didn't have much else to do. I also wanted to try out the long distance trains, which were easy enough to book online, and very affordable. The train left from the new Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, which is absolutely massive but probably good forward planning for the future. I took a 2nd class aircon carriage which was comfortable enough. My hotel was less than a 10 minute walk from the train station, and after meeting the boy at Terminal 21, we later had a look around some of the attractions in the city as well as going to the tower back at Terminal 21 to look at the view over Korat. Boy stayed overnight, which was my only overnight this whole trip as I don't usually like long time. He also insisted on buying me dinner which I thought was sweet. I only gave myself one night here as I wanted to give myself an out incase things went pear shaped. Would I go back? Maybe, but it wouldn't be somewhere I would go regularly. I did see some farang there though. On the way back to Bangkok, I was in a 2nd class aircon carriage and this was the type with the open windows and also the back door was wide open as we went. I really enjoyed watching the scenery go by, and really interesting and exciting to see all the new structures for the train lines going up, which are massive and seemingly a little out of place in the countryside, but I think these are for the new high speed rail that is going to Laos and other places? I had a cute guy sit next to me for some of the trip, and I offered him some of my bread (which he declined), and later on struck up a short conversation with me before he got off at Saraburi. Final thoughts: I had a nice time and just kinda tried to pace myself since I was here for a while (and also not incredibly fit). I'm slowly building up my list of regulars which is good for future trips, and ate quite a lot of nice food. And same as always, I would often get mistaken for being Thai (which I take as a compliment), even in bars, and it's amusing when they talk to me in Thai and I just kinda look confused, or say something like 'kor tord na kap, English na kap'. I'll get around to learning Thai one day. My next trip may be in June/July, or December, or both. I'm not sure yet. But I do want to visit a few more places, like more islands. Thanks for reading!1 point

Beaches w/gay scene other than Pattaya & Phuket
splinter1949 reacted to Travellerdave for a topic
Of course if you like the combination of a boy plus sand and sea there is sometimes the option of taking your off or boyfriend to the beach. Whilst staying in the Complex I’ve taken suitable boys for a late morning breakfast and then for an hour or two at what’s left of the gay beach. Once last year I had a boy accompany me into the calm sea where we had some fun swimming and splashing in the warm water. Lovely memory which deserved the promised enhanced tip.1 point
