Looking back to the Thailand of 20 year ago or 20 years into the future isn't going to help you appreciate what it offers today, especially if you dwell on the misery you perceive in others. Loneliness is endemic for most older men. Health and financial issues weigh heavily. I'm certainly in that age group. I travel to Thailand as often as I can because it renews my spirits and my outlook. Without it I fear I might too succumb to misery. Instead of rejecting the miserable, try smiling toward them. Who knows when some day any one of us may find ourselves in similar straits.7 points

Is the gay scene dying off ?
Olddaddy and 5 others reacted to Travellerdave for a topic
I first visited Pattaya in 2001 in company with another gay friend. That was just before the internet and websites like this one took off and due to scarce information we had no idea where to stay and where to find the gay scene. However we quickly found our feet one way or the other and enjoyed the exotic (for us ) atmosphere, the amazingly low prices (72 baht = £1), the food and hotels, the bars and gogos (took us a few days to find Sunee) and of course the boys . Especially the boys !. Since then I have visited Thailand numerous times, mainly Pattaya, but also bkk and a few other places. On return home from the first few trips friends and family were very interested in hearing all about my travels (my accounts varied according to the audience). This was before many people became active on the internet and only a few commented about the racy reputation that the country was beginning to acquire. That changed around the mid 2000’s, especially when accounts of under age sex started to appear in the tabloid newspapers and everyone started surfing the internet. I started to play down my visits and even lie occasionally as to where I spent my holidays. The gay friend of my first visit stopped going. Advance a few more years to the 2010’s and the Pattaya gay scene began to thin out, especially in Sunee which previously contained maybe 10 gogos plus a good number of bars. Contrast that with the booming str night life available to non-gays with girlie gogo’s opening all over, adding to the numerous beer bar complex’s. Visitors from non-farang countries, who don’t visit the gay bars greatly increased. The gay scene much reduced compared with the earlier period pre 2005 (the good old days ?) and gay visitors have become an even smaller minority than previously. My theory is that the unsavory reputation as regards sex and drinking has impacted more on the gay communities. There are other factors of course: the decline of the $ £ Eur against the baht and the.perceived less attractiveness of available Asian male prostitutes.6 points -

Reader and Travellerdave have said more or less everything I wanted to post and so I'll add just a couple of comments. Now in my seventies and with my eightieth (more or less) trip only a few weeks away, I can express my profound gratitude to those who led me to Thailand in 1995, provided me with the necessary information to enjoy myself, and of course those who attended to my needs with a smile and, generally, good grace. Particularly one who remains the only love of my life. Consider; some of us lived through decades of concealment, fearing exposure and-at least in my case- suppressing an essential aspect of our character for fear of arrest or public shame. And then we experienced Pattaya. How lucky we were. How fortunate I still am. And grateful, even if the vibrancy of Old Boyztown is long since gone.5 points -
Brazil's Northeast: Fortaleza, Recife, Sao Luis
groenthusiast and 3 others reacted to ShivRoy for a topic
I feel I need to do a short write-up of my experiences in the Northeast - I left some bits and pieces in comments elsewhere in various topics, but let it be a standalone post. I really really like Nordeste - guys are more down-to-earth and they care more about you, there is more chemistry and less rush, it's cheaper, it's sunnier. The choice is not as wide as in Rio or SP (even though I have doubts about SP after my two recent trips, but I digress) - but it takes one/two/three guys to make your night, and even if it's four great GPs and not 20, you'd still match the necessary numbers so to say. Fortaleza. I visited a few times before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and as recently as earlier this month. The sauna to go is still California. It's not as bursting with excellent garotos as 7 years ago, but it's still quite busy. Over my week in Fortaleza this January, I found out that no day is totally dead. Best days are Thursday and Sunday. Thursday is when all GPs are naked or with a towek wrapped around their dick, plus there's a stripper. The stripper has two outings a night - first a regular strip, but he goes from the stage to the audience to interact - in my case, he sniffed and licked my neck pressing his body into me. The second outing afterwards is with his dick hard - and then he goes to the audience in a similar fashion so you can defo touch. No extra tips that I've seen. Friday at California is a curious night of the "Wheel of Fortune" where there are three client winners spinning the wheel to get a prize (like a free entrance, or a free suite). On a Friday I visited, an older gentleman won the prize I really really wanted to witness somebody winning: two meet skewers from the kitchen. He could choose chicken or pork. Somebody needs to make a movie out of this. Suites are excellent at 30 reais - but on any given night only a maximum of two out of four are operational. There also free cabins, like in Barcelona's Thermas and people use them a lot (GPs flip a mattress and wipe the surface with an antiseptic). Condoms are free and plenty available. Guys are of varied shapes - there are quite a few of those who let's say are not frequent gym visitors, there are twinks, there are bigger muscular guys, and there are a couple of stunning guys with hard lithe bodies like at 117 or better - they are obviously straight, and even though one of them told me he is, quote, 99% top, he and all others did bottom for me. Fucking very straight muscular guys is still a pleasure for a bottom guy like me. TThe universal rate in Fortaleza, as elsewhere in Nordeste, does not depend on whether the GPs are out of shape or stunning muscular - it's always 100. Even if some tried to say 150 seeing me as the only foreigner in the sauna (in all three mentioned cities), all immediately and easily came down to 100 when I mentioned I know the universal rate. Some of course earned extra. Dragon sauna is the best in Brazil in terms of facilities, but it is empty with GPs, even during their big events. There are a couple of them at best, and they are quite jaded ones - it's better head to California. I really don't understand why it's not happening with Dragon - I can only assume it's high entry fees for garotos, as in terms of facilities there's no even comparison between Dragon and California, but all GPs and their clients are still at California. There are more cruising bars, like the ones that opened in Rio - Rommeo, Eden, or others - but they are very non-GP ones. I've been to Eden on the night they advertised a live sex show with a visiting porn star, and the vibe was very non-GP - lots of people, incl some young ones, but none appeared to be rentable. Other than that, Fortaleza has quite a quirky underground non-sex LGBT scene - Berlin-style techno parties at The Lights on Fridays and Saturdays, and samba at Teresa e Jorge bar where there's quite some gay presence. Recife. That was a major surprise. I visited this month for the first time in a few years - I think I did one trip early into the pandemic, but not after that. I remembered there were two saunas - Boa Vista and Blue Thermas - which were normal saunas but with some GP presence. On a visit this month, I was pleasantly surprised by Boa Vista - so much I spent all my three nights there without even visiting Blue Thermas. Boa Vista is the main sauna where quite a few non-hiring Recife guys go, some of them are simply stunning but not GPs for some incredulous reason. However, there is quite a substantial presence of GPs in the sauna, and I had multiple romps. Same as Fortaleza, the universal rate is 100, suites are at 30. On all nights I had their best suite which was itemized in my bill as "presidential suite" - it was 40. There is a maze, there are free cabins, there are open showers, it's actually quite a modern clean and very busy sauna where GPs are a fixture but not the main element. Still, you can have lots of fun. I had incredible experiences there, including with a guy who had great muscles and a great smile but was really nervous throughout but very attentive to my needs - when we showered (and the presidential suite has a large shower cabin with two shower heads so you can shower together with a guy and may continue to romp there) he told me he came from a rural inner state area and this was his first ever visit to the sauna and I was his first ever client. As he was visiting from the village, he was planning to stay the night in the sauna - it's open all night and serves free breakfast at 6am to those who are still there. Boa Vista also has a separate hall open on weekends which is pretty much a nightclub dance floor - with distinct 1990s high school prom vibes, but lots of local towel-clad patrons dance there which I think is really cute in its strange way and not something I've seen elsewhere in Brazil in saunas. So actually Recife was a blast. There is an interesting gay quarter 5 mins drive from Boa Vista with a proper night club and a few funky gay bars - I stayed outside on the street with a caipirinha and just observed the crowd. Really good. Sao Luis. I will mention Sao Luis as I don't think there were any reviews, and I've been possibly three times there, though not since 2021 or 2022, I think. They have a very decent GP sauna called Go.61, or it's called Sauna Go on some of their socials. It's sort of California style, very similar to what Fortaleza has, but with an added bonus of a swimming pool. There are similarly cheap suites and drinks, as well as plenty of free cabins on the upper floor. When I visited, I met really cool guys - again 100 was the usual rate. The best days are Thursday and Sunday. Sometimes they have performances, or bingo - at other times it's usual karaoke or just simple fucking, no complaints. Sao Luis is a really good city. On Friday nights, the whole historic center (where the sauna is, btw) turns into one big street party. They also have a week of June fiestas which is pretty much a carnival in June. An hour long public boat ride away with a severely drunk boat captain brings you to the island of Alcantara which is a ruined colonial city lost in time and space - a great day out. That all pretty much sums up why I liked to come back to Nordeste all recent years - and sometimes (but not always) it's an even more satisfying experience that the meat conveyor belt of 117/202/Lagoa in Rio and SP. Long story short, there is life on other planets in Brazil.4 points -

Boy69>………../ i do agree with a lot of what you say above but would add the following: - the unsavory reputation certainly impacted on me, but maybe you are right that overall perhaps it’s a minor factor - Yes Thailand has become less of a bargain destination but that does not seem to have affected the booming str sex/drinking scene. Estimates of about 40,000 female bar girls/ gogo dancers/ masseuses in Pattaya currently. Plus hundreds of ladyboy prostitutes. How many boys servicing us gays ? Maybe several hundred only. Jomtien Complex 250, Boyztown/Sunee 150, Freelance 100. Total 500. Just guesstimates. - Agreed that Thai guys have many more opportunités for earning a living and I mention the result at the end of my post. I would add that boys from Cambodia/Laos have to an extent replaced the missing Thais in Pattaya.3 points -

Didn't do too much, decided to give my liver a break. Day 4, the Lao guy from Jomtien forgot his passport at my hotel the night before, so he came over for it and we went another round. I caught up on some stuff from US/Mexico, really messed my sleep up. Day 5, last night in Pattaya....another Liver rest day and the streets of Boystown seemed pretty calm/dead for being in season....went to Paradise Massage around the corner, tested 4 guys on their massage technique and took one to my room at Ambiance around the corner, they agreed for the same price...I prefer not only the comfort of my room, it's that when we're finished, I'm already home for the night.3 points -

IMO unsavory reputation as regards sex and drinking has small impact the main reasons of the gay scene decline are others; Thailand becomes more and more expensive over the years, less Thai guys are willing to go as money boys, authorities restrictions on entertainment venues ( especially limiting the closure time ) , Falang countries are much tolerate to gays and have much more gay local venues and the most important thing the younger gay generation are behaving more like regular tourists and are not limiting themselves to 'gay ghettos'.2 points

Almost all of your talking points would support Democrats, not Republicans. All legislation to improve working conditions have come from democrats, who are the ones, for example, to promote family leave. Minimum wages are lowest in states run by Republicans, and higher in the states by Democrats: The only talking point you've mentioned in which Republicans might do better would be in illegal immigration, though illegal border crossings definitely went up under Trump as well, and he failed to build most of the wall which he said he was going to build. Trump supporters still believe Trump's delusion that Mexico would pay for the wall. The situation is not quite as dire as some might lead one to believe, if one looks at the overall picture (not just illegal border crossings): Many illegals simply overstay their visa. Most of them do work and support the US economy. Biden could do a better job of discouraging illegal crossings, although under no circumstances could I support Trump's policy of separating young children from their parents. Who would do that? That being said, I do believe that if the Republicans in the House have a good plan to address illegal border crossings (I haven't heard of any yet), then Biden would be wise to listen, and at least compromise. Free health care exists only in a few oil-rich countries. The question is how to pay for it (insurance premiums or taxes, in which case which taxes?).2 points -
From ABC News (Australia) Dr Richard Harris appointed South Australia's Lieutenant Governor The heroic doctor involved in the infamous Thai cave rescue has been named as South Australia's next Lieutenant Governor. South Australian anaesthetist Dr Richard Harris, who rose to fame after his involvement in the rescue of 12 children trapped in a cave in Thailand, will be sworn into the role next month. The former Australian of the Year will replace Dr James Muecke, who has served in the role since 2022. Dr Harris was described as an integral part of the rescue of a team of soccer players and their 25-year-old coach from a flooded cave in northern Thailand in 2018. Dr Harris conducted initial medical assessments on the boys and advised authorities on the safest extraction methods. On the day of evacuation, he gave the medical all-clear for each boy and administered anaesthesia before they left the cave. Dr Harris was about to leave on a cave diving adventure when he was called by expert divers from the UK to assist in the rescue mission using his unique dual skills of medical knowledge and cave diving. He was the last person out of the cave. Dr Harris received the prestigious Star of Courage bravery award for his efforts, and was named joint Australian of the Year in 2019. In his new role, Dr Harris will serve as deputy to South Australia's Governor, Frances Adamson. The Lieutenant Governor acts as the state's Vice Regal representative in the absence of the Governor. In a statement, Dr Harris said he was "truly honoured" to be appointed to the role and thanked Dr Muecke for his service.2 points

From Richardbarrow.com The Vientiane (Khamsavath) Railway Station is set to open in April 2024 for shuttle trains crossing over the border from Nong Khai. There are also plans for at least two trains a day to transport passengers all the way from Bangkok to Vientiane in Laos, with a fare of less than 300 baht for the cheapest ticket. All three classes of travel will be available. PLEASE NOTE: This is the metre-gauge line from Thailand. It has nothing to do with the high-speed line that is still under construction. Pichet Khunatamruk, the Director-General of the Department of Rail Transportation (DRT), revealed in an interview with Daily News that the DRT will meet with the Laotian Ministry of Railways and other relevant agencies on 6th February 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to finalize regulations for rail travel between Thailand and Laos on the 7.5-kilometer section from Nalaeng to Vientiane (Khamsavath), which is an extension of the Nong Khai-Nalaeng railway line. Following these discussions, trial runs are planned to commence from Nong Khai to Vientiane (Khamsavath) in February 2024. Though these will not be open to the public. The regular service is expected to begin in April 2024, with fares of 60-70 baht and a travel time of approximately 20 minutes. According to Pichet, there are still unresolved issues regarding immigration procedures for passengers crossing the border from Thailand to Vientiane (Khamsavath). The ultimate goal is to streamline the process so that passengers are only stamped once, either in Nong Khai or Vientiane, Laos. Currently, passengers must undergo stamping in both Nong Khai, Thailand, and Vientiane, Laos. Furthermore, Laotian train drivers will replace Thai train drivers at the Nong Khai station. Staff from the National Railways of Laos have already completed theoretical and practical training in locomotive driving and ticket sales, enabling them to operate immediately once the service begins. Pichet mentioned that nine Laotian train drivers have been trained to drive Thai locomotives. These drivers will be responsible for operating trains between Nong Khai and Vientiane (Khamsavath), with a driver change occurring at Nong Khai station. The purpose of this change is to avoid potential legal issues. If a Thai train driver were to cause an accident or incident in Laos, they would be subject to Laotian law and would have to go through the court system in Laos. According to Pichet, extending the rail service to Vientiane (Khamsavath) will greatly facilitate travel for Thai and foreign tourists from Bangkok to Vientiane by train. The current Bangkok-Nong Khai trains, which operate six round trips per day, will be converted to Bangkok-Vientiane (Khamsavath) service. Initially, there will be two round trips per day, offering all three classes of service. Additionally, the local shuttle trains running between Nong Khai and Nalaeng will also be transformed into Nong Khai-Vientiane (Khamsavath) service, with four round trips per day. Pichet further mentioned that upon arrival at the Vientiane (Khamsavath) station, passengers can conveniently access public transportation services provided by Laos, such as mini-vans, tuk-tuks, and taxis. This will enable passengers to easily reach the city center of Vientiane, which is approximately 7-9 kilometers away.1 point

Pattaya Day 2 Jan 2024
Mateo_37 reacted to floridarob for a topic
I'm ready to go to sleep, so I better write this while I still remember what I did today, wasn't much, but details can get lost during sleep. Woke up about noon today, early for me. Ordered Thai food from a little hole in the wall, near Ambiance on Grab. $2usd delivered and I'd put the food against ANY thai restaurant I've been to. Went to Jomtien beach about 3pm, with the sole reason to get a manicure/pedicure.....a mamasan that used to work at Cupidol does amazing work and I get my change when I pay. Then she recommended a massage guy for a foor/leg massage...300 baht for 1 hr, he was decent and a good conversationalist. After the beach I headed to Sansuk sauna, was Sunday about 530pm and was quite busy. This is only my 2nd time there, my 1st time wasn't busy, however was mostly Asian guys, had fun. Last night, almost all foreigners, blah.....I did hook up with a Canadian Chinese guy, with a tiny dick....I knew how this was going to end....was like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. He couldn't stay hard, I didn't feel a thing, we both made excuses, I told him I lived in Brasil, he didn't get it, lmao. Headed to Nice Boys after there, with not that much cash. I had more in my room, but don't like going out with too much, in case it gets lost. The drunk guy that's usually obnoxious about asking to buy him drinks was either on the wagon or it was too early, but he's just as obnoxious sober. There were 3 guys I was interested in and could have gone with just about any of them, was interesting. One 20 yr old short guy, was def my type. He sat with a Japanese customer, they messed around a little and then customer left, without giving a tip, I was told 🙄 The lady mamasan advised against trying to go with him, she said he was new and too shy..... but did I listen, no!!! Since I was short on cash, they said I could pay the boy his off and his fee all at once, when I got to my hotel.....we never made it that far. Once we lft the bar, the kid wanted to take a moto taxi to Ambiance. I told him it's closeby and we could walk. His face looked like I just asked him to donate a kidney, lol He REFUSED to walk....good thing I hadn't paid the off yet. I went back in and explained what happened, none of the other boys could believe it and a few said "I'll walk with you". I was annoyed by this point, so I walked to my hotel for more cash. Went to Dreamboys to talk to a few people outside, they are always so friendly. Nothing was too intersting for me, so I walked by the same massage shop as last night. The more we got into details about where to do it in the shop or my room, seemed to be getting too complicated and I left, telling the guy from last night, we'll talk later. Then I went to the massage place on South Pattaya road, I think it's called Paradise? A couple of guys were outside and I acted like it was my 1st time in a place like that. Massage sample from 2 guys that I was choosing from...then I made my choice. Half way thru the massage, came the "do you want me to suck you?" question. He was super cute, for me, but I only wanted a chuck wow and he agrees. He pulled his pants down, great ass and a child sized penis, oh well....he was impressed with the size of my dick, which isn't saying much coming from him 😁 Finished and paid him 700 baht, which is what we agreed on, even though he asked for 1000, the Canadian Chinese guy was huge compared to him. I'll give him credit though, he followed instructions perfectly. I think I'll become more like @reader, at least if the sex isn't good, you have the chance of something of a massage. I'm sure I left a bunch of crap out, If I remember , I'll write about it, if it's worth it.1 point -

Flew Singapore airlines flight from New York- Singapore, used miles for Business class- was a bucket list item- Longest flight in the world, solid 19hrs. I liked it better than dividing the trip in Tokyo, got way more sleep and then a 1:45 flight from Singapore to BKK instead of a 6-7 hr flight from Narita. Went to VIP immigration section upon arrival, was kind of full, I followed a Thai guy that just snaked his way in between everyone with kids, they were too busy taking care of the kids, that we went unnoticed. My bag was 1st one out and found Mike Taxi right away and off to Pattaya we went. Staying at the Ambiance, booked this a few months ago and got 5 nights in a king superior room for $97 usd....comfortable beds, nice towels and sheets, convenient to everything and the receptionists all know me.... Took awhile to defrost the frozen mini fridge, so lost whatever time gained in BKK, ADD about certain things 🙄 Walked around, stopped by Paradise massage and a few of the guys caught my attention....the one that spoke English, wasn't the best looking, but had something about him that attracted me to him, I asked him for a sample of his massage and it was really good....I told him maybe tomorrow, and went to Dreamboys to see a few guys I know to check on them. With the price quoted at Paradise, all in...seemed like a better deal than the go-go bars, so I asked the guy that since it was almost closing time, if he'd come to my hotel, obviously he said yes, he hadn't had a client in 2 days....( he's not THAT ugly). Did EVERYTHING that I asked, only didn't give me the full hr massage that he promised, so I explained to him that's how to lose repeat business, over stupid shit. He promised to make it up to me if we go again, let's see...I'd go with him again. Grindr is very active...it's 5 am, I'm ready to sleep....tomorrow my plan is Jomtien about 2pm for manicure/massage on the beach then try Sansuk about 5-6pm and maybe another round with the Paradise sauna guy, or someone else from there. Since I'm not very good with trip reports, I'm going to try to report a little every day....see how that goes. Pic is of the Singapore seat made into a bed, other than Gulf Airlines first class....I think this is the best bed for flights to Asia.1 point -
Unfortunately statistically you probably won’t be here if you’re 60, in twenty years, and you’re overweight as you claim you are. I hope you’re writing these conflicting post in twenty years as they are entertaining and liven up the board. Looking unhappy can be unavoidable when you’re older as our faces change physically. Maybe they’re not unhappy, just look unhappy. We do change into interesting characters as we age. There’s a guy I see who looks just like the skinny one in Oliver and Hardy. But he looks very happy. Theres plenty of young guys here in Thailand that still make me very happy.1 point

NOTE -- There's no word yet whether much-sought used undies would be among the goods to be offered. From The Nation The Commerce Ministry plans to work with the Thai producers of the drama series “boys’ love” (BL) genre to help boost demand for Thai products overseas. Commerce Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said on Wednesday that his ministry was targeting a large market of foreigners who are loyal followers of Thai BLs, and have high purchasing power. “We will try to sell goods to their fans,” he said, adding that this was part of his ministry’s attempt to find new markets for Thai products. But he did not elaborate on how they plan to do it. “If you look to expand the market in the old way, you will end up getting nowhere,” he said, adding that those involved need to “think out of the box”. Phumtham, who is also a deputy prime minister, said he would launch the plan on January 31, without elaborating. A key figure from the ruling Pheu Thai Party, Phumtham said that Thai films and dramas in the BL genre had a large following overseas. He pointed to large numbers of foreign fans joining events featuring popular Thai actors from those series in Thailand. Boys’ love genre depicts romantic relationships between male characters. Thai movies and dramas in this genre have gained strong international following in recent years, particularly in Asian countries like Japan and China. BL is also known as “Y series” in Thailand, deriving from the Japanese term “yaoi” – a genre of fictional media originating in Japan that features homoerotic relationships between male characters. The commerce minister was speaking during the “Thailand 2024: The Great Challenges” event held at the Pullman Bangkok King Power hotel. He also said during the event that the Commerce Ministry was working with a group of Chinese influencers on its plan to boost demand for Thai products in China. Phumtham said his ministry would soon enter into an agreement with 30-40 leading Chinese influencers as part of the plan, adding that one of the participating influencers alone had as many as 300 million followers. As per the plan, the Chinese influencers will help sell Thai products during their livestreaming to followers, according to the commerce minister.1 point

No. Donald Trump did. Tens of thousands of Americans died of drug overdose thanks to Trump's ineptitude and failure. God made Trump. And then, right after God made Trump, God made fentanyl. And Trump let the fentanyl pour in from Mexico and kill the Americans God made. That's an old chart. But I posted that to highlight that fentanyl deaths went through the roof under Trump. If having Trump as President was a solution, the problem would have been solved. Instead, both fentanyl smuggling and American fentanyl death skyrocketed when Trump was POTUS. Nobody knew stopping fentanyl was so difficult, it turns out. Certainly not Trump. Trump knows one thing: how to make democracy fail. He is good at taking democracy and turning it into the black hole he lives and thrives in. Everything Trump touches dies. The obvious version of how Trump makes democracy fail is this. When you lose an election, what you do is break the bones of cops. That is what you do under Trumpocracy. You send your mob to the Capitol, try to stop an election, and beat the living shit out of as many cops as you can. That is how Trump obviously makes democracy fail. On border control, Trump stands within a longer right wing tradition of how you make democracy fail. Obama kept a tight border. And all the numbers show it. Obama had an immigration compromise that passed the Senate 2-1 in 2014 and almost became law. It was killed by right wingers in the House. So, since then, there has been no compromise. Trump for sure sucked at compromise. Trump for sure was helpless to do anything as fentanyl flooded in and killed Americans when he was POTUS. All Trump excels at is killing democracy. Biden is now close to a compromise, again. And the danger, once again, is right wingers in the House. And now we can add Trump who, by all accounts, wants to block compromise on immigration that most Americans want. Trump would rather have more fentanyl and more dead Americans than have bipartisan compromise that would make Biden look effective. Just like Biden was able to get the infrastructure law and gun control and health care and other popular compromises that Trump sucked at. Trump urges GOP against compromise on border That is because all Trump is good at is making democracy fail. And not knowing who Nancy Pelosi is, of course.1 point -

Have you ever been to another country, especially one where the US has a history of interfering with their elections to install someone that supposedly will do what US corporations wanted.....or where the US consumers fuel the drug trade? Again, have you been anywhere besides your mother's basement?1 point -

Pita returns as MP as charter court rules iTV not media since 2007

From The Nation The Constitutional Court on Wednesday reinstated Pita Limjaroenrat as Move Forward Party MP after it ruled that iTV Plc had not been a media firm since March 7, 2007. The Office of the Constitutional Court announced that the majority of judges had dismissed the request of the Election Commission to disqualify Pita as an MP under Article 101 of the Constitution for holding shares in a media firm. Eight of the nine judges voted in favour of Pita. Only one judge, Nakarin Mektrairat, voted against Pita. The EC alleged that Pita applied to run in the May 14 general election although he held shares in iTV, a media firm, which is prohibited under the charter. The court ruled that although iTV had been a media firm under a contract with the secretariat of the PM’s Office since 1995, the secretariat had cancelled the contract on March 7, 2007. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/politics/400349761 point -

Barely remember anything..... Woke up late, 8pm....thought about not going out, but knew I'd be awake all night on Grindr so I headed to Jomtien Complex. Saw Gayinpattaya, lost a lot of weight and got a mans haircut, so doesn't look like a lesbian anymore 😝 Walked around, looked very busy for a Mon night....sat and drank at Cocka2 bar, Rob, the owner from Australia is such a nice guy. There's always a big table out front with Farangs from all over coming and going, always a good vibe. Closed at 2am because word was police would be checking in. Some guys were sitting outside a bar across the way and I stopped to talk with them, I liked a small guy from Laos and someone mentioned he had a big dick, not that I needed to know that, but helped with my decision to take him to my room. Both of us drunk and horny, he gave a nice massage then we fucked for nearly 1.5 hours and yes, big dick and stayed hard the whole time. We went to sleep about 6am and woke up at noon, went to lunch nearby here, if you like Thai food, there is this little hole in the wall place you'd never find unless you're looking for it. I had Pad Kaprow pork with 2 fried eggs, he had seafood tom yum, 2cokes and bill was 190 baht....is maybe my favorite Thai restaurant at the moment, found it when I was here in Sept. It's not even listed on Google Maps.....was part of the reason I stayed in Boystown area instead of Jomtien.... https://maps.app.goo.gl/dpS7ynM9XrnwibPh9 It's the place with the green awning, I think they're closed on Monday.1 point -
As a Australian I always thought Trump was better for America Why don't you have a proper social security system that pays unemployment benefits, then there would be less crime , Low wages , no free health care What happens if you get a major sickness and you got no job? I was watching YouTube some of those cities are like third world countries Alabama , Detroit etc . Houses falling down ,crime rate thru the roof1 point

PATTAYA, Thailand – In a swift operation, the Pattaya Police investigation team successfully arrested 28-year-old transvestite Suntorn Huajaipet, a primary suspect in a robbery case. They also confiscated a 2-baht gold necklace valued at approximately 68,000 baht, two wrist bracelets priced at 68,000 baht and 34,000 baht respectively, a lion-shaped gold wrist bracelet worth 35,500 baht, and 20,000 baht in cash. It's crazy how big Prime has grown. I think the New Year rush is well over now as I was able to walk in and get a massage this evening with no wait. I didn't realize that they'd added another building to their portfolio. I wonder how many people are employed by their massage factory. I think I was handed off to four different people on the short walk across the soi to the other building. It was like a relay race. Excellent 90 mins massage. My masseur had surprisingly rough hands, but used just the right amount of pressure throughout. En suite shower in the new building was a nice surprise. There's a good reason this place is the standard.1 point

I use my forearm and tricep to judge the technique....if they have chairs outside, I'd ask for a sample of a neck massage. You can tell pretty quickly of they have the strength and proper motions to go to the next step....it also gives me a moment to chat and scope out the other workers without being too awkward staring at them from the street, lol1 point
