  1. I was in Bangkok again recently and in between adventures in my hotel room at Ibis Styles Silom with guys I have met on previous visits and new guys, I made a few journeys around the city and once visited an old theatre in Saphan Kwai (Google Phahon or Saphan Kwai Theatre) that I had read about. It is at the end of a Soi pretty much opposite the Big C on Phahon Yothin Road. Quite by accident I visited on the Father's Day public holiday. Entry was 100 baht. First let me say it is bloody hot in the theatre except for a few air conditioners that provided some relief from the heat when standing right underneath them, yet some guys walk around in there in jackets! When I arrived there were a few guys hanging around but I couldn't see much as I stumbled around in the dark. Best off finding the nearest seat and waiting for your eyes to adjust before stumbling around as there are stairs everywhere... While my eyes adjusted I bumped into a couple of hot looking (from what little I could see) young guys who were happy to let me suck them. I think they were together and vasnished after they cum. Once my eyes had adjusted I couldn't believe what I saw ... a huge theatre with hundreds of seats playing mainstream movies (and some softcore straight porn too) and easily over a hundred guys sitting in the chairs sucking and fucking and others walking around the edges of the theatre hooking up in pairs, threesomes and much more. I have been to the 357 Sauna in Sydney a few times and spent the whole time drooling, and although the guys in this theatre weren't naked they were pretty nearly all 20s and 30s and most very fit looking and to me at least it was like paradise... There was cock everywhere and beautiful smooth bodies and most of the guys seemed to be tops with a few bottoms taking it with many guys looking on and touching. I have never seen anything like it... There were a couple of other foreigners there, but so few of us compared to Thais (and maybe others) that we paid each other no mind. Most of the guys there seemed shy to initiate action and it usually took several passes and glances and then a touch to get something started. I ended my visit after a guy with just about the biggest cock I have had took my hand and led me over to some seats and we had a very vigorous sucking session. I am pretty much a total bottom so the activity ended up with me drenched in sweat (and some other fluid) and totally exhausted and I was done for the day. We exchanged Line ID intending for him to visit me at the hotel, but he had to go to Chiang Mai for a few days and we missed out... next time! As I said before, I have never seen anything like that place and I would love to go back there again sometime. If that kind of venue might interest you, then I definitely recommend giving it a look in! I'd love to hear about others' experiences there too if you have been there... 🙏🍆

  2. Mr. Unicorn, your selfies above are revealing. Just hope I don't find myself seated next to you on a future flight. 🙂 On the other hand, I have witnessed the popular "Vinapu tuck" several times, I can attest that the technique is completed with great finesse. First move: the note is deftly grasped between the index and ring fingers. Second move: the middle finger is placed against the abdomen at level of waistband while the index and ring fingers simultaneously push outward. Third move: with a smooth downward motion, the note is inserted until resistance is detected. Fourth move: the note is released in a secret action yet to be fully disclosed by inventor. Fifth move: fingers are withdrawn and placed immediately in pocket for later inspection. (Full disclosure: this is an unofficial version and not approved by the inventor) The tuck is customarily performed on males similar to those depicted below.

  5. I've been to Hot House twice, and I would definitely recommend it. The managers there are the sweetest guys ever. Specifically for the gogo dancers, there's a notable difference between the gogo dancers and those the place refers to as "interactive"—usually porn stars who hang out in the dark room after 1 a.m. or so. Yes, embrace yourself for the late hours. The interactive might not be as attractive as the gogo dancers, but they're a lot of fun to interact with—as the pun intended. the gogo dancers are hotter and very friendly, i sit with some of them during the breaks and got the whatassp of the ones i liked, but didnt have any of them as a provider HH is very active on Facebook: :https://www.facebook.com/HotHouseOficialSP I suggest going there. There's always a host at the entrance who is very welcoming, just like all the bartenders at Hot House. Then, you'll walk up the stairs, where the gogo dancing happens frequently. You may have read my report for my trip. I had a lot of fun; it was my first time, and I didn't have anything to compare to—well, the dreadful Nyc. There aren't any places like Hot House or Lagoa. good luck

  6. I find that story somewhat untold to the end. Three separate thefts at random? I can believe in one but three? And such good luck with each bag pillaged? Smells insider knowledge at the least. Anyways on long overnight flights I carry money and passport in the money belt in my undies, otherwise I keep said money belt in my carry-on regardless if it goes to overhead or under the seat in front.

    question about Cali

I took a bus from Pereira to Cali, I like bus travel in central Colombia. Usually overnight, pretty comfy, weird 2am snack stops, every second trip something was broken (aircon, electricity system), people are shared to other busses, etc. But, everybody remains calm and happy, big respect to colombians. Its a project in itself! There is a city called Palmira near Cali, Grindr went crazy there. In Cali I spent most of the time in the Phisicus sauna, nice people, cold beer, (too strong) weed if you are polite with guys in smoking area, massage guys and quite many (hot) visitors at weekends. There is also sauna called Cali Club, where sexy guys go on weekends. I was there within a week and there were few visitors, including horny muscle guy. I stayed in a hotel next to the main futball stadium, walking distance to Parqu del Perro. Took uber to the center. I had an impression that in the Cali main bus station one should be careful with the belongings you have. I did not hear or see any salsa😀.

  11. Well, just to keep the thread going, not a lot of new info to share since st moritz. Alejandro has been with me almost every day for a slow steady deep seeding. He is a nice hugger kisser, 7 inches nice thickness. patient steady easy fuck for 10 or so minutes with a couple minutes of hard pounding, deep hitting at the end. nice. Friday night Urial was a no show (it was raining) so Alejandro and I partied together. he had candy, it was nice. the first fuck was almost an hour long. the second shorter. 2 loads. It was some of the nicest sex I've had. the next night Urial showed up after work hungry, made him eggs and ham toast mango..... we smxxed. then made out for a while before going to bed. even though alejandro had already prepped my ass earlier, Urial really hurts in the beginning. I'm so out of practice. (Thailand/PH does not prepare you for the size of these men. Not all by any means, but a higher % than you see in asia.) it was long hard and the most amazing time I ever had as a bottom. He did it twice more (not as long or hard) during the night and once more after coffee before he left in the morning. amazing. Only popular demand will get more graphic info in the members only section. Other than that ... One Grindr taxi driver (taxi Actitvo) stopped did his top service then took us to Laureles (50cop + 15COP taxi). kinky We went to the river walkFeliz Navidad fair. pictures. today had a 32 YRO english speaking university student. he was a rough top. not huge but very powerful and kisser.

  12. I realise this is only for accidents but if the cost is 200million baht per year and there are 30 million tourists per year that means the cost should be 6.6 baht per person. If it was extended to cover general illness which required hospitalisation then there would be an increase. Clearly wouldn’t be a lot. It would be interesting to know how many tourists actually end up in hospital and what the total cost is. Then divide it by the expected 30-40 million tourists per year. The actual figure per person would probably be very small. So why not add a minor addition to the airfares BUT make it quite clear that it covers hospitalisation costs. Doubt many would complain.

  15. Both for sessions in the sauna and for overnights, I find it a good strategy to name my (reasonable) price before allowing them to quote a high price that must then be negotiated down. It's not very hard to "beat them to the punch" because it is rare for them to quote a price before being asked. After discussing what I'm into (and hopefully getting some enthusiastic confirmation that they are too), as we segue toward reception, I will say "200 is good, yeah?" (busy night/peak hour/hottie) or just as commonly 150 is good, yeah? (slow night/offpeak hour/more ordinary looking). It would take nerves of steel for them to break up a deal that is practically underway; I have seen it, but exceptionally rarely. Caveat: I do speak Spanish, and I know my Portugese numbers so I say this in Portugese (they are super easy, basically the same as Spanish with only occasionally different pronunciations, e.g., 2 is more pronounced doyss than dos). I tell them what I'm into, typically via translate, though, because while almost none (surprising to me) speak Spanish, some make a greater effort/more easily understand it than other (the blank face gives that away...) By contrast, if you let him name a price you may have to tediously chisel it down and at some point it becomes hard for him to save face. A guy that I had had for 150 (I guess I'm a heightist, but anyone under about 5'9" automatically gets offered 150), the next night I overheard telling a Polish guy who asked, rather than told 400 and then negotiations bogged down at 250, with the Polish guy eventually walking away... For overnights, which is actually the point I meant to address before digressing above, I think it is particularly important to discuss expectations of basically 3 periods: before the sleeping, during, and after(morning). I find the idea very appealing, but it's pretty hard to make it a "value proposition". Even guys at the sauna where the initial agreement was 150 and I am giving them 200 or 250 (I tend to agree to rather low initial prices but tip generously for great times, and it is only those guys who I've had at least 2 great times already do I consider broaching the overnight idea.) Surprisingly, I haven't found much enthusiasm at 1000, more so at 1200 and at that point it would typically just make sense for me to have them over for a session before bed and one the next morning (which I typically pay 300 or 350 without complaint.) The only way the math really works is if the "during the night" segment adds value, either by being a cuddler (Portugese speakers: is there a better word for this than abrazar (hug/embrace) which is what google translate uses?) and/or a serial fucker. As such I would say, all my overnights were poor to exceptionally poor value, except one, which spectacularly succeeded and keeps me coming back to the table. I would think the bare (no pun intended) minimum would be one romantic session before sleeping and one in the morning, hopefully with some nice translator-assisted pillow talk after one or both. In "real life" (nonpaid) sleepovers, I find the morning one is often the best but I have had a lot of trouble (maybe 50%) getting a morning session going. Last Saturday I had over a guy I had so enjoyed several times that I was lax about the pre-negotiations and his alarm went off at 8am sunday morning he popped out of bed, showered and ran off with a peck on the cheek because he had to be to cross-fit at 9. One theory of mine for the morning (and during the night) underperformance is that under the what I consider borderline OCD Brazilian standards of showering, deodorant-application and tooth-brushing (one guy told me that 8 showers a day is not unusual for him on days he is NOT working), that spontaneous still-in-bed sex is near taboo (and no, a swig of mouthwash on the nightstand doesn't count--I tried that). So, before any morning session, both parties must get up and perform their regimens. Then, if a morning session does result, both parties are expected to repeat the regimen afterwards. At that point I'm ready for a nap! I have actually asked several more thoughtful guys if they could reconcile Brazilians' seeming lack of inhibition with their bodies in sex with this (what I would call) inhibition/shame with their body's scents and haven't gotten far. My theory is a distancing mechanism of the upper classes from the sweaty working classes in a hot country, (that would have less significance in cooler countries where the working classes would not be particularly sweaty), now percolated quite far down the economic ladder. One guy, though, shrugged his shoulders, rejecting my theory and said maybe we can fuck with abandon because we don't have to worry that we smell bad... In any case, before you start to shell out what starts to exceed chump change, and end up basically getting a night session with a contactless sleeping session tacked on the end, make clear you want a morning session and whatever else. And yes, hope springs eternal: in one case I went to the small town where a particularly tall and stunning guy lived (he had just been visiting Rio for the weekend when I met him there). He was so sweet and earnest that I really couldn't bring myself to negotiate with him beforehand and it could've been a really boring night in the hotel, but it was actually what one would hope an overnight would be. (maybe he was just so small-town horny that he was willing to overlook the age difference?) When he dropped me off at the bus station (it had been nearly 24 hours) I gave him 1000 and bug-eyed, he exclaimed "Oh my gosh, that's SO much money!" Considering his mother, with whom he lived, was a domestica (domestic servant) in a small interior town, presumably earning little more than the minimum wage of R$1300/month, one can appreciate his perspective.

  18. From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon A group of expats based in Pattaya, mainly holding one year extensions of stay for retirement or marriage, have written to Premier Srettha Thavisin to campaign for more humane treatment. Leader John Foulds, a British retiree, said that the government seemed to be interested only in expanding short term tourists by abolishing visas for mass markets, such as China and India, and easing the life of wealthy expat professionals on large salaries. He quoted the recent announcement about 10 year executive or professional work permits in the Eastern Economic Corridor offering specially discounted tax rates on earnings and confirming avoidance of 90 days reporting. Mr Foulds explained, “By contrast, there never seems to be any good news for the mainstay expats who have retired here on pensions or are supporting Thai wives and families over many years. Now it looks like we may be faced by demands to register with the Thai tax system because of changing revenue rules and face more hurdles in renewing their annual visas.” He suggested that expats on one year renewals should be exempt from revenue regulations, at any rate until the system was open and equitable. “The very idea that expats like me living on an already taxed pension need to produce a whole load of annual paperwork to justify why we should not be re-taxed is a very sour notion.” Amongst other visa complaints raised by the group are recent changes to the 90 day reporting system which require (in Chonburi) a new form and accompanying passport copies every three months, an increasing amount of paperwork required from Thai banks about the account holder’s cash balance and periodic alarm raised about compulsory medical insurance. “It’s as if older retirees in my position are being deliberately squeezed or forced into expensive visa options such as the 10-year Long Term Residence or 5-20 years Elite,” added Mr. Foulds. He said many retirees he knew were already planning to leave Thailand or relocate to more friendly visa regimes in Vietnam or Cambodia. Expat visas in Thailand are now a complex field of options, each with its own set of rules. More recent choices have been aimed at wealthier foreigners or those prepared to pay lavishly upfront for a specific number of years. As regards the traditional one year extensions of stay based on retirement and marriage, there are thought to be at least 300,000 mostly-male visa holders including a sizeable number financially supporting Thai wives and families. Although Thai immigration does not publish comprehensive data, there may be 200,000 more foreigners living here part time on tourist and non-immigrant visas which they use together with spells of time outside the country. A spokesperson for the Tourist Authority of Thailand said that she was well aware that the recent Thai revenue announcement had caused alarm in some expat quarters, but feedback was still being fed into headquarters. A representative of the Thai immigration hotline pointed out that the regulations for retiree and marriage annual extensions had remained basically the same for the past 15 years, if subject to some minor local variations. Given Thailand’s former good reputation as a retirement haven and the high daily spending by many foreigners with annual retiree or family permits, Mr. Foulds’ group is advising the Thai premier not to ignore these contributions to the national coffers. A sizeable market is in danger of being lost.

  19. From Thai PBS World Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has ordered the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to arrange travel insurance to cover accidents and death for all foreign tourists arriving in Thailand during the New Year holiday period. The prime minister’s order, issued at the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, follows two incidents involving foreign tourists who died recently in Thailand. One incident concerned a Taiwanese tourist who was denied emergency treatment at a private hospital in the Pattanakarn area and died on his way to a second hospital about 10km away. The second case involved an Irish tourist who had been treated in the intensive care unit of a private hospital for dengue fever, but the hospital bill reached about 100,000 baht a day, forcing the patient’s family in Ireland to raise funds to get him back home for treatment. It is reported that the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will seek about 50 million baht from the Central Fund to buy insurance coverage for tourists visiting Thailand over the New Year period. The prime minister also instructed Tourism and Sports Minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol to coordinate with Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam to promote regional tourism. One of the regional tourism routes, which was proposed by Vietnam, is the world heritage route encompassing Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, Luang Prabang in Laos and Thailand’s Udon Thani province. ================ From Pattaya Mail Yet another plan to cover tourists with medical insurance breaks the ice By Barry Kenyon Worried about negative international publicity, Thailand’s tourism and sports ministry is dusting off plans to insure overseas tourists with 500,000 baht (US$14,000) per person for injuries and double that amount in the event of death from an accident. Prime minister Srettha Thavisin said recent bad publicity arose from cases such as the mass shooting by a troubled youth at Siam Paragon mall and the death of a Taiwanese holidaymaker who was denied emergency care at a private hospital following a road accident. Policies to cover medically many millions of tourists every year have flummoxed military and civilian administrations over the years. In 2002 Thaksin Shinawatra’s administration toyed with turnstiles at airports and land frontiers to collect a 50 baht insurance fee from all non-Thai visitors, but was discarded for fears of chaos and winding queues at entry points. In 2018 the notion of a 150-300 baht entry fee for foreign tourists by land, sea or air (but not for Thais) was first publicized and promised as late as September 2023. But it has now been dropped amid opposition from airlines, border police and others fearing public confusion and yet more bad publicity. Few details are yet available, but the latest plan is far from comprehensive. Only short-term tourists will be covered and holders of non-immigrant visas or 5-20 year visa options will almost surely be excluded. Tourists, yet to be strictly defined, will be covered specifically for injuries and deaths from accidents and not for general health issues. An earlier version had suggested the inclusion of diarrhea as a legitimate claim, but is not currently mentioned. The Office of the Insurance Commission is suggesting the cost annually would be around 200 million baht, or more depending on the crucial detail. The debt could be paid by the central budget, or offset by yet another disguised tax such as a supplement on the tickets all international passengers arriving in Thailand. International insurers say it’s too early to judge the latest government initiative. Geoffrey Collard, spokesman for Worldwide Travel, said, “Who exactly is covered and why precisely they are seeking admission to hospital will lead to admission issues unless the detail is fully spelled out. 500,000 baht for treatment from accidents looks generous, but costs in private sector intensive care units can be 100,000 baht or around US$3,000 per day.” Meanwhile, the Thai Hotels Association president, Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, said the idea was a good one, to increase the confidence of all tourists travelling to Thailand. ====================== From The Thaiger Explosive growth in Thai insurance industry predicted for 2024 The Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA) has foreseen an unprecedented surge in the insurance industry, with premiums expected to skyrocket to 303 billion baht in 2024. The TGIA president, Somporn Suebthawilkul, revealed the industry’s trajectory, unveiling that premiums for the initial nine months of this year already hit a whopping 210 billion baht, marking a staggering 5.2% rise from the same period last year. The projections for the full year anticipate a robust 4 to 5% growth, amassing a colossal 285 billion baht in premiums. But what’s the secret sauce behind this financial boom? Somporn predicts a dual force: the soaring popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) and the flourishing health insurance sector. With EV sales predicted to hit a monumental 100,000 units this year, it’s clear that the future is electric – and so is the insurance industry. Somporn teased the anticipation of an even more lucrative 2024, riding on the back of sustained growth in the health and EV sectors. Travel insurance is also set to cash in on the continued rebound in tourism, making your next adventure not just thrilling but also well-insured. “The industry improved this year as expected because of the economic recovery and smooth government transition, increased EV sales, and a rebound in both domestic and international tourism. “All these factors have a positive impact on the industry, with good growth trends for various types of insurance.” For petrolheads and road warriors, the revelation that motor insurance premiums surged to 118 billion baht in the first nine months of this year, a 6% year-on-year increase, is music to the ears. Car insurance policies are on the rise, and so are the average premiums per policy. Fire insurance, with premiums rising by 2.1% to 7.76 billion baht, is blazing its own trail. Meanwhile, marine and shipping insurance faced a slight dip, down 0.6% to 5.33 billion baht due to slowing exports, reported Bangkok Post.

  20. From Pattaya Mail Automatic medical insurance likely not necessary after all By Barry Kenyon The tourism and sports minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol has diluted the prime minister’s promise that all foreign tourists would be covered for injuries and death from the new year. The minister said that universal insurance was not strictly needed as the foreign tourists’ compensation assistance fund is traditionally underspent. Instead the minister suggested a central government grant of 50 million baht to cover likely claims in 2024. The foreign tourists’ fund was set up several years ago to grant compensation on a discretionary basis where foreign visitors were injured or killed in accidents, such as a ferry sinking or a motorway pile up. It has also been used to calm nerves in sensational, well-publicized cases where overseas tourists were victims in shooting incidents or where Thai public services had been sub-standard. The scheme authorizes a maximum of 500,000 baht for medical treatment and 1 million baht for post-mortem compensation to relatives. There is no suggestion that the fund will be used for routine medical treatment, nor does it bypass the need for visitors to carry their own insurance which is legally compulsory only for some longstay visa holders. The fund can’t be overspent since it is handled by the government on a discretionary basis. Mr Sudawan’s suggestion also avoids disputes about hospital treatment created by a universal medical compensation which is bound to have ambiguous details if drawn up in haste in time for the new year. === From Pattaya News Government Reminds Hospitals They Cannot Refuse Emergency Patients, Including Foreign Tourists The National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEMS) has confirmed its readiness to handle an expected increase in accidents during the New Year festival. The organization has already conducted drills for emergency medical teams to ensure preparedness. The institute said significant focus in this matter is on the Universal Coverage for Emergency Patients (UCEP) system. The system is designed to protect emergency patients in critical conditions. Under UCEP, patients are to be treated at the nearest hospital without any cost during the initial 72 hours until they are out of danger and can be safely transferred. Criteria for emergency critical conditions include unconsciousness, cardiac arrest, limb weakness, sudden abnormalities, severe physical and brain injuries threatening life, and conditions affecting breathing or circulation. For non-critical emergencies, patients are advised to coordinate with their entitled hospitals or use their insurance first. There have been instances where hospitals have refused patients, citing reasons like exceeding capacity. However, NIEMS emphasizes that, by law, hospitals must first admit patients without inquiring about their rights or financial status. In the case of foreign tourists, the institute separates this into two issues: foreigners can receive treatment at any hospital regardless of the emergency status. However, for critical emergencies, hospitals will claim expenses from the foreign patient’s existing funds, such as life, health, or travel insurance. Once a patient is delivered to a hospital, treatment cannot be denied.

  24. I will try one last time. From https://www.cochrane.org/news/statement-physical-interventions-interrupt-or-reduce-spread-respiratory-viruses-review The Cochrane Review 'Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses' was published in January 2023 and has been widely misinterpreted. Karla Soares-Weiser, Editor-in-Chief of the Cochrane Library, has responded on behalf of Cochrane: Many commentators have claimed that a recently-updated Cochrane Review shows that 'masks don't work', which is an inaccurate and misleading interpretation. It would be accurate to say that the review examined whether interventions to promote mask wearing help to slow the spread of respiratory viruses, and that the results were inconclusive. Given the limitations in the primary evidence, the review is not able to address the question of whether mask-wearing itself reduces people's risk of contracting or spreading respiratory viruses. 25. From Thai PBS World Airports of Thailand (AOT) will continue to expand the capacity of its existing airports and build two new airports, with an estimated investment of Bt150 billion, to cope with the increasing number of domestic and international passengers. Speaking at a seminar called “Section II: Next Step” on Wednesday, AOT chief executive officer Kirati Kitmanawat said that the company plans to build the new Lanna and Andaman airports, which are estimated to cost Bt70 billion and Bt80 billion respectively. They will be capable of accommodating 40 million passengers annually. The two projects are undergoing feasibility studies and the land expropriation process is expected to begin in the middle of next year. Kirati said Suvarnabhumi airport will handle 60 million passengers this year, down from 65 million before the COVID-19 pandemic. He predicted, however, that the number of passengers will return to 65 million next year and up to 80 million in 2027, hence the need for additional capacity, with the planned expansion of aerobridge terminal space by about 50%, or 200,000 square metres, 28 additional aerobridges and the phasing out of the bus gate service for the convenience of passengers. Additionally, the third runway will be further developed, to ease the problem of a shortage of parking apron for planes, while the luggage transport system will also be improved. A third passenger terminal is planned at Don Mueang airport, while the existing first and second passenger terminals will be used for domestic flights only, to accommodate the rise in domestic passengers, with a capacity to accommodate up to 35 million passengers a year, up from 20 million. AOT also plans to build a new terminal at Chiang Mai airport, with the aim of turning the airport into an international gateway to accommodate more than the current 8 million passengers per year. Phuket airport will also be expanded, to cope with 20 million passengers annually, up from today’s 12 million, said Kirati, adding that AOT has plans to increase the use of clean energy and build a 50 megawatt solar power plant.

  28. One can never prove that the difference is zero. With a large enough study, one could document a very small difference. What the studies can and do show is a 95% confidence interval, documenting that if there is a difference (might go either way), it is a small one (95% confidence interval (CI) 0.84 to 1.09; 9 trials, 276,917 participants; moderate‐certainty evidence). Since the studies, when combined, involve over 200,000 people, and the results are very close to zero difference, they do show that a truly significant difference is highly unlikely. What seems especially unlikely is that N95's are superior to surgical masks, as those studies were mostly done in medical, highly controlled settings. Obviously, preferred goal of researchers is to show that an intervention demonstrates an improvement. Fortunately, most researchers will publish results even when the results aren't what they'd hoped. (From the original post): "Four studies were in healthcare workers, and one small study was in the community. Compared with wearing medical or surgical masks, wearing N95/P2 respirators probably makes little to no difference in how many people have confirmed flu (5 studies; 8407 people); and may make little to no difference in how many people catch a flu-like illness (5 studies; 8407 people), or respiratory illness (3 studies; 7799 people)...". Of course, there will always be some people, including, unfortunately, physicians, who will be guided by their intuition and personal experiences rather than by careful study.

  30. Well, that is a possibility. I guess we just need to find the answer to a single question: are you representative of most of American voters?

  31. Well, I'd never carry around $20,000 in cash under any circumstances. Such quantities of cash usually have to be declared upon entering a country, and would be bound to raise suspicion. Typically, I will carry some $100-$150 in cash in my pants pockets. I suspect that the authorities in Singapore would ask why he was carrying that kind of cash on the flight. https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/sg/travel-info/visas-immigration/customs/singapore/#:~:text=If you're entering Singapore,on your departure from Singapore. If you’re entering Singapore with more than SGD20,000 or its foreign currency equivalent in cash, you must submit a completed NP727 form to: the Customs Red Channel on your arrival at Singapore’s Changi Airport, or the immigration counter on your departure from Singapore. Collect the NP727 form at any major checkpoint, Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) or, Neighbourhood Police Post (NPP). Alternatively, you can download it from the websites of the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

  32. The authors said they had low to moderate confidence in their results from the Cochrane study, not the individual studies. Like I had said, originally, the standard view prior to Covid was that masks were not effective in preventing viral infections. Many of these studies in the Cochrane analysis are pre Covid and during non epidemic flu where the people being studied were unlikely to be worried about dying of flu. However, I worked in an ED with sick Covid patients throughout the pandemic. We weren’t turning people away or having them seen by younger staff outside. We were intubating patients as well as doing other procedures on them. People were dying around us. My partners and I were extremely diligent about masking. I wore an N95 from before I entered the hospital to the time I left without ever taking it off. I did not eat or drink inside the hospital. Most of my partners did the same. We literally left the building if we needed to eat or drink. We did not start getting sick until the end of the Covid pandemic despite taking care of people from day one. Many of us got sick after our kids got sick. My personal Covid infection did not occur from the hospital, since I had been off for a while when I got sick and that was more than 2 years into the pandemic. You can discount my experience as anecdotal, but my experience with Covid and the risk of contracting a deadly disease with people dying around you every day gave me an insight into what real compliance with masking looks like. I would disregard any of these studies pre Covid because there was no real fear of dying. I also doubt that there were many high quality studies of masking being done during the deadliest parts of the pandemic, since the focus was on patient care and keeping anyone that did not need to be around these patients out of the hospital. But for all of us who took care of these patients for years without getting sick with one of the most infectious agents that humans have been exposed to is not due to luck. We took care of these patients for many months before the first vaccine. If masks were completely ineffective, we should all have gotten sick, yet only 1 or 2 of my partners got sick in the first year or so of the pandemic. When looking at a study, you have to look at the weaknesses and limits of the study. Also, if you have insight into the question being studied, you can rightly apply skepticism to conclusions based on your experience and your knowledge of what masking diligently involves.

  34. Global advantage?! Did you mean significant, or overwhelming? Globally, Russia is in the 9th place behind Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, and Bangladesh; not to mention top 3: India, China and the USA. I won’t be surprised if by the end of 2024 it ends up somewhere between Ethiopia and Democratic Republic of Congo. I’m glad that you finally acknowledged that Russia, as the original attacker, had suffered 5-10 time the losses of the defender - the Ukraine.

  35. From Pattaya News Over 100 foreign tourists in Pattaya were allegedly scammed by a visa agent who promised to handle their passport extensions. However, the agent reportedly kept the passports far past agreed upon dates, without processing the extensions, leading to some of the tourists overstaying their stays in Thailand and keeping money paid by the tourists. The incident came to light on December 19th, 2023, when a group of 30 tourists, accompanied by their representative Ms. Chanidapa Thosakul (36), brought Ms. Supawadee, whose last name was withheld pending an ongoing investigation, (33) under custody to the Pattaya Police Station. Ms. Chanidapa revealed that the 30 tourists were allegedly lured by Ms. Supawadee’s promise to deal with their passport extensions with Royal Thai Immigration. The tourists paid around 32,000 baht each for Ms. Supawadee’s services. However, the tourists alleged that Ms. Supawadee took their passports and never returned the documents, nor processed their extensions, which were for a variety of reasons but mostly education visas. The situation worsened when it emerged that over 100 tourists from more than 10 countries were reportedly impacted, some allegedly having their passports confiscated by Ms. Supawadee far beyond their authorized stay of 30-90 days in Thailand. This forced several tourists to face legal action and potential deportation, Ms. Chanidapa said. Determined to reclaim their passports and hold the suspect accountable, the affected individuals led by Ms. Chanidapa confronted Ms. Supawadee to negotiate the return of their documents. They later alerted the Pattaya police to come and arrest the suspect, leading to the discovery that Ms. Supawadee allegedly held over 40 passports of the foreign tourists and had allegedly planned to discard them. Fortunately, through further negotiations, a number of passports were returned to the tourists. Despite the accusations, the suspect, Ms. Supawadee, has denied any wrongdoing and says she is entirely innocent and was working on resolving the tourist’s passport issues. However, Pattaya police remain skeptical and are actively gathering evidence to pursue legal action against the agent. Pattaya police and Chonburi Immigration are working with the tourists affected by the agent and now on overstay to reach a positive resolution for the tourists without them facing legal action or deportation.

  36. Just spent a few days in Istanbul with several visits to Aquarius. I've always liked it because the men to me are super hot. But I've also regretted the uncomfortable cubicles and the not good value for money. I'm not sure what changed, but the guys had really upped their game since my last visit two years ago. I'm passive and they were much more aggressive than in the past. There weren't many younger guys there, it was mostly masculine from some low 20s into low 30s. As for escorts Hunqz and Rentmen have been blocked by the the government, but I think there are workarounds..

  40. I don't think there is a "standard". It depends on what you expect from an overnight. When does it start, when does it end...how do you plan to spend the time, will you provide meals, etc. A reasonable starting point is BR 2,500 (which is about a third of what you can expect in NYC for the same experience.)

  41. You are simply wrong. In the context people are talking here, which is sexual talk or chat on a gay app, it means kinky. Period. A stronger word might be taboo.

  42. I don’t know about Colombia but I do know that in Spain, ‘morbo’ is used to refer to kinky sex. Of course, exactly what is kinky has to be defined.

  43. I have seen the term in ads and quoted by a provider (image appended) I booked, but it still seems ambiguous to me. So I am curious as well. I take it to mean “sick”, as in edgy or unusual in relation to conventional standards of intimacy, so in the gay context it essentially seems to have no significant meaning. I do not think it means “anything goes”, but that the provider is trying to communicate he is open to deviation from heteronormative. So perhaps “kink”? Or simply “foreplay”? ”trato de pareja” is easier ... BFE.

  45. Well I see it is under "creative services", but it is just matter of time when CL will start to remove such things, they simply 1 year ago removed personals and they will now allow someone to post such ads in other sections, so that is not the solution.
