  1. My plan for the night was Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs, supper at Foodland Patpong with fellow forum member (he would leave Thailand two days later), catch a show at a bar and finally massage at midnight. O, the massage guy, offered to come to my hotel room after he ends work at 12.30am. Of course I said yes. At Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs, it was one of the waiter's birthday and he had invited some friends over for a small celebration with some food at the sofa seats and table. I wished him happy birthday and gave him a tip. Z, my current infatuation, was working at the upstairs bar. News soon spread upwards that "Z's Singapore boyfriend" (a name given by the other waiters) had arrived and Z promptly came down to say hi to me. I told him about my midnight massage so no off to hotel. But how about dinner and watch boy show with me. OK he said. At 10.10pm, we adjourned to Foodland Patpong to meet fellow forum member and his guy for last supper until next year (tentatively middle of year in June).

  3. I took BTS back to Sala Daeng. Saw that a new bar was being built next to Hot Male Beer Bar downstairs. It's in pink. Oh dear. Not a girlie bar please. Got some lunch then lazed at pool waiting for Grinder guy. Not just one but two in fact. One Thai guy. Mid 20s. Tall and twinkish. Freelancer just like the Thai guy I met yesterday. My other Grinder initiated session came in late afternoon. 34 years old. Laos. And surprise surprise he works at Super A! He was stopping by at my room for quickie before he reports for work at 6pm. Sex with him was the best among all the guys I met this trip. Experience trumps pretty boy looks, sexy 6-pec abs body and skilful massage skills, I guess.

  4. Day 7 (Monday) - last full day in Bangkok on this one week trip and what a packed schedule. In morning after breakfast, I went to nearby St Louis Catholic Hospital to pass some money to my cha nuoi (godson). His condition had gotten worse since the last I met him and he had to be admitted to hospital for 2 nights. He had asked me to help him pay part of his hospital bill during his discharge and I said no problem. The hospital is just next to St Louis BTS. Modern and clean. Cha nuoi was staying on 20th floor. I knocked on door of his room and went in. A nurse was helping him take off the IV drip. Two of his Vietnamese friends were there as well to take him back home. One of them works at same packing and delivery business while the other was a stunner! He had tattoos on his left arm and was well-built. I had to ask. "You work in bar?" "Yes," he said in very low sexy voice. "Which bar?" "Jupiter." I was half-expecting that answer. I thanked him for looking out for my cha nuoi and then proceeded to ask him for his Line account. "Ok. No problem. My name is Man. You good friend. You help Tiep (cha nuoi's Vietnamese name) long time." "You good friend. Tiep sick and you help him." I swear cha nuoi was rolling his eyes at my shameless flirting. After the nurse finished her task, she left the room and I passed cha nuoi the money. I said my goodbye and wished him quick recovery and of course I also said goodbye to good friend from Jupiter.

  6. From Pattaya News Today, December 5th, marks a day of special significance for the people of Thailand – it is Father’s Day, commemorated in honor of the late, great King Bhumibol Adulyadej, whose birthday falls on this date. Although the beloved monarch passed away in 2016, his legacy lives on, and Father’s Day remains a cherished occasion for Thais to express their gratitude and love for their fathers. As Thailand celebrates Father’s Day, families gather to honor their fathers, expressing their love and appreciation through heartfelt gestures and meaningful interactions. Many Thais also wear yellow shirts, the color associated with Monday, the King’s birthday, as a symbol of respect and gratitude.

  8. Blackjack night ended just before midnight and my 4 guests left happy. I had invited Z, my current infatuation to blackjack night, but he was shy and didn't want to go as he didn't know the other guys personally. I sent Z a message on Line: "What time does DJ Station close?" "2" "You want go." "Yes" I rushed off to Hotmale Beer bar downstairs, passed Z a 1000-baht note to pay for his off. Another waiter saw and he looked at me and pointed at himself. "Sure, let's go together!" So no change received and 3 of us were on our way to DJ. No queue to get in but it was packed inside. 300 baht for 2 drinks represent very good value in my opinion, as compared to the 400 to 500 baht charged for one drink in gogo bars. We wandered the different areas in DJ Station but spent most of time at K-pop dance area. Z likes K-pop but he doesn't know the dance moves that the DJ Station regulars were doing. "You learn. I learn. Next time we come here. We dance like them same same," I said to him. Ok he nodded. I hope I don't have regrets! At 1.45am, we decided to leave before the inevitable huge exit crowd at 2am closing time. I thanked and tipped them before we split off and I went back to hotel to sleep after an eventful and fun day. 20231204_003723.mp4

  9. He was the Chairman of Lukoil, like the website says. Jesus Christ, you're like the George Santos of this forum. When you caught in a lie, rather than fess up, you just double-down with another, even more outrageous lie. Believe me, it does not make you look clever. It makes you look like a clown. Maganov was a critic of Putin. Putin can't take any criticism, so the barbarous pussy that Putin is had him murdered.

  10. Day 5 (Saturday) - A tale of two Thais I had pleasure of meeting two very interesting young Thai guys - both in mid 20s. I got to know them through Grinder. They hit me up yesterday and I am only able to meet them today one in late morning and another in evening. One of them is a masseur at Olivia Massage. Shall call him O after his shop. English is very basic. He uses Google Translate when he messages me. But to be frank, during massage and sex, language does not matter. O is a cute twink. Very friendly and loves to kiss! Hardworking as well. Strong massage strokes. I had him come/cum (Lol!) to my hotel room for massage in day time so I had to pay an off fee to shop. O loved doing massage in hotel room. He took pictures and videos of city from window of room. After leaving, O sent me a message: "Let me know in advance when you want me to go your hotel. I can go before work or after work. I can also go during lunch break. You no need pay my shop." The other young Thai guy I met speaks fluent English. He even types all his messages in English. He is the epitome of the young modern educated Thai person. He has travelled to all of the major countries in Asia except China and he has even been to a number of European countries. He studied aircraft engineering and works at airport where he stays nearby. He is looking for an older boyfriend after some previous relationships. We talked about interests and personal life and I found him to be a remarkable young man. He came from a complicated family background and is currently out on his own. His name starts with L but to differentiate him, shall refer to him as L+. When I complimented him on his achievements at such a young age, he was on the verge of tears and hugged me tightly. I think not many people have given him positive affirmation in his life. I hope he finds the right guy for his boyfriend and happiness together. O and L+ are two Thai gay guys whom I will not forget and I suspect I will be keeping in touch with them for years to come. Most of the guys I got to know well during my trips to Bangkok are not Thai (and not gay!) They are mostly from Myanmar and Vietnam (due largely to their English proficiency). There are Laos and Cambodia guys I know as well but I need Google Translate when I meet them. Oh yes, report on night activities - I was at Screwboys after supper at Foodland Patpong with fellow forum member. But no.93 wasn't there. Hopefully he will turn up tomorrow.

  12. Catholic is the main religion in Brazil, and in Catholicism there is HELL for siners. I would suggest the problem is more of a cultural thing. Latin American culture is a culture of curruption and violence from the top down. There are wealthy Brazilians in middle/upper class, and they don't care about the welfare of their own poor citizens. It's a men eat men society in most of the Latin America (including Mexico).

  13. After supper at Foodland Patpong, Z and I went into Dreamboys. It was 11 plus and halfway into their show. Fewer customers and fewer guys working as compared to last Friday night. Show about the same. Z enjoyed watching the energetic dance numbers. He sang along to the songs that the ladyboy diva singers sang. He didn't like the erotic cock dancing and big cock show. When macho man in heels appeared, Z was taken aback at first but he enjoyed it as the performance went on. "You want to tip him?" I asked, holding out a 100-baht note. Z said yes and appreciatively handed the tip to macho man in heels on stage. Z recognised and called out to a Dreamboys guy. "He's my friend. He's from Myanmar." He is one of dancers for Sex Bomb dance and he is a good dancer. We watched him dance and I gave Z a 100-baht note to tip him. I can confirm that Myanmar dancer is not just working at Dreamboys purely as a dancer. He is available for off. He has a number on his white shorts and he went on rotation on stage with the other guys. So it seems that Dreamboys doesn't hire only Thai guys. They have guys from the other countries as well. At 12.15am, the coyote dancing began signalling the start of the 3rd show of the night. Only 6 guys dancing compared to 9 guys on Friday. When they ended, 3 guys received 100-baht tips each while the best 3 dancers received 1000-baht garlands each to applause. Z and I left after coyote dancing. I said bye to him. "See you next year, Myanmar boyfriend," I said to him as I hugged him. "See you next year, Singapore boyfriend," he replied.

  19. There are long lists of these people: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspicious_deaths_of_Russian_businesspeople_(2022–2023) "...Ravil Maganov, chairman of the national oil company Lukoil, fell from a Kremlin Hospital window under suspicious circumstances, according to reports: CCTV cameras had been "turned off for repairs", Putin was visiting the hospital the same day, and associates did not believe he was suicidal...". Whether or not you personally witnessed this event is dumb and irrelevant. Do not continue to make a fool of yourself by denying what is documented and common knowledge. You continue to intentionally make false statements of fact, which are easily disproven, and this only makes you come off as a liar. And your continued arrogant refusal to use google translate doesn't make you look any wiser (though at least this time I understood what you were trying to say).

  22. Yeah, they tried but even then they weren't able to shut it down. Why? Because there was too much money to be made by that very same elite. so, I don't government intervention as the main factor in the change of BKK's gay scene. It's not like Thai society has become more conservative, actually the opposite is true, especially among young people. Plus, that kind of crackdown would have a much higher global resonance today that they had more than 20 years ago. It would definitely scare lots of people. I still think that actually "market" forces will drive the change. Even among the gay tourist crowd, westerners represent a much smaller percentage compared to 30-40 years ago. It's the Asian, primarily the Chinese, that make up the majority. so, it's only logical that a lot of venues will cater to their taste and way of doing things.

  23. After L left, I went to Foodland Patpong for my late lunch. As fate would have it, a fellow forum member had just finished a massage at nearby Adam Massage at Soi 4. He came over to chat. I told him that I needed to get more Thai baht and he kindly walked me to X-One. It was my first time there. Very well thought of process of limiting the number of customers inside through ticket system. Rate offered was indeed better than the other money changers in Silom area. After that, we took a leisurely walk and ended up outside Queen Club aka previously New Twilight. Directly opposite it was Golden Cock! There were 3 guys inside and one of them recognised fellow forum member and they chatted about the relocation and how's business. After short chat and update, we continued walking and saw Super A. The lights were not on but we took a peek and saw that there were guys inside. Hooray for them! Glad that these two niche bars are still surviving. Fellow forum member and I then continued walking to soi 6 and we said hello to the many massage guys who recognised him. We then resumed our walk and we finally separated at Soi Patpong where he went to Silom Complex and I went to get beer for a blackjack party I was hosting at night.

  24. The Bangkok go-go bars in the 80s and 90s were certainly very different. On the other hand, the basic premise was always the same. Get the customer to buy drinks at inflated prices and then pay off fees to get as much cash from that as possible. I think I'm known on the forum as more skeptical than some as far as the future is concerned. Yes, more and more younger guys will be available to go to the bars in the future. The question for me is more how long will the government continue to tolerate them and permit them to operate. The elite and the army loathe the fact that Bangkok especially has the reputation as the sex capital of Asia. We saw the first major attempts to clamp down on the sex trade in the early 2000s with Thaksin's social order campaigns. SInce then the apps have been doing a good job at weaning some sex tourists away from the bars. So far, they have survived, although now very few Thai boys work in them - very unlike the 1980s and 90s. But we know the government can, if it wishes, make employment of boys from neighbouring countries even more difficult at the stroke of a pen! We know this is a socially conservative country. I suspect that those many millions who voted for Pita Limjaroenrat's party are like the elite in wishing to see the end of the "sex capital" description. But that is a very personal view. So generally my view is simple. The government will in future do what it can to drive sex bars off the streets. We have already seen what has happened in Chiang Mai which as a gay destination with gay venues is all but dead, whereas 20 years ago it had a large, thriving and fun gay scene. That may well result in just pushing the businesses underground and out of sight - rather like that which we know already exists for Thais and about which expats and tourists know nothing. Hopefully I am wrong.

  25. Day 6 (Sunday) - I had L the massage guy visit me in my hotel room again in afternoon. It's my 3rd massage with him - one in his shop and twice in hotel room. By now, he knows me intimately and vice versa. Advantage of having a regular. After session, L was wearing his pants and looking out the window when he suddenly pointed to a building. "Casino," he said, "Now close." I then asked him whether he gambled. He said no but he knew of friends who did and they told him about that particular gambling den. I had a deck of cards and poker chips in my luggage and I took them out to play a few rounds of blackjack with L. Then he asked me,"I show you Vietnam poker" and I said sure. Vietnam poker has a points system with 3 cards. While I was trying to get the hang of it, L suddenly realised that it's time for him to go back to massage shop. "It's ok. Next time I meet you. You teach me," I said.

  26. After fellow forum member left at 11 plus, I decided to go to Dreamboys. Show was midway. Seats all taken but mamasan managed to squeeze me in left corner. There were both male and female customers. I was seated diagonally across the hall facing a certain Hotmale Beer Bar waiter with Japanese lady customer in private sofa booth. I also saw many guys who were at Circus and Balcony in Soi 4 earlier in evening. Show was same as when I watched in June. Mix of different types of performances for everyone from the casual curious tourist who just wandered in to the seasoned visitor. Ladyboy diva singing, energetic dancers, slapstick masked face comedy, macho man in heels dancing and the usual erotic dancing with cocks exposed - this had everything for everyone! The entire show lasted till 1am with 10-minute intermission every half hour where the guys went on stage for prospective customers to off. Half the audience left at midnight after big cock show. After 10-minute intermission with guys on stage, the show continued. Coyote dancing at 12.30am saw an appreciative customer giving 100 baht tips to the 9 guys who danced. They formed a line to collect their tips with one guy even kneeling and wai-ing! At 1am, the music stopped and show was over. I headed to Screwboys to off the guy I saw last night (no.93). Unfortunately he had been taken. So I went back to hotel alone on day 4.

Condoms became widely available, in part due to the work of a guy whose name I can't recall....you, know, the one who owned the restaurant called Cabbages and Condoms. A true Thai hero.

  29. I believe we are saying the same thing. The owners might prefer Thai boys as it means less hassle with the police because of their immigration status, but on the other hand they enjoy the lower price they can pay to this immigrants compared to Thai guys. Yes, the economy has improved, so guys from Issan and other provinces can come to BKK and work in hotels and malls, but offer them 5-6 times that they are making in those places, and a good number will parade for you however you like. I mean , lots of them are already prostituting themselves online for some extra money. Also, personally witnessing each time I'm in Thailand, the amount of bb sex happening with the under-25 crowd (and I'm talking about free sex) I don't feel there is an STD panic going on right now within the young people in there, much less so worrying about HIV. What I think happened is: there is definitely a contraction in the demand for go-go bars. As the first post of this thread said, go-go bars are not as popular as they used to. So, owners can't really increase their price, or risk alienating even more customers, especially given the high availability of guys online. The large numbers of Burmese, Laos and Cambodians has really served as safety valve for them. Afterall, most customers in those bars can't even tell the difference if the guy is Thai or not. So, I still think it has mostly to do with economic reasons and not really because of any big cultural or sociological changes in the mores of Thai society. However other long-time residents of Thailand can chip in with their thoughts.

    New Russian Anti-LGBTQ Law

Who are these people? Internal business pressures turned deadly That leaves a third theory, one that both Taylor and Rutland indicate is far more likely than either a Kremlin-directed campaign of assassinations or a spate of genuine accidents and suicides. Specifically, the recent run of deaths among Russia’s business elite could well be disguised killings — but the killings may be a product of Russia’s tangled political and economic structures, which are newly under pressure from Russia’s war in Ukraine, more than of any specific, overarching agenda. According to Taylor, the deaths could have more to do with “shady business, attempt to cover tracks, attempt to wipe out a competitor, trying to maybe get rid of someone who’s inconvenient at a time when there’s a lot of pressure on state-affiliated companies, especially in the oil and gas sector, but also in the defense sector.” Markus agrees, noting in an email that “there are competing influential clans” within the Russian state “that span state institutions and private or state-owned firms.” “So far these clans have been loyal to Putin, but this loyalty has not reduced their predatory appetites,” Markus told me. “From the clans’ viewpoint, the current situation has led to (1) lower cash flows available for diversion or theft; and (2) less certainty in Putin’s future as the ultimate leader of Russian kleptocracy. Hence, clans may be settling their scores and competing more viciously — which could involve murders in question — without this being a centralized Kremlin effort.” That explanation also makes more sense than the Kremlin-directed conspiracy theory, given the cross section of Russia’s business class that’s turned up dead. Though there are some common linkages — ties to energy companies, for example — some experts, such as Mark Galeotti, the author of the upcoming book Putin’s Wars: From Chechnya to Ukraine, have pointed out that coverage of the deaths can paint with an overly broad brush. “When did the death of the former rector of a technical university become the (implied: mysterious) end of a ‘Putin ally’? (Everyone dying in [Russia] now is elevated to oligarch or ally),” Galeotti tweeted after the death of Geraschenko in September. Significantly, both Taylor and Rutland emphasize that there’s still a great deal of uncertainty around the deaths. However, under the third and, according to them, more likely theory, continued pressure on Russia’s economy could well accelerate the trend. Violence as a way of doing business has been “deeply normalized going back to the 1990s,” Rutland said. “And so as the regime enters what could be its death throes, or certainly it’s under huge pressure, you can imagine that there’s gonna be this — well, it’s not yet a bloodbath, but you can imagine that the faction fighting will get even more desperate.” There are no satisfying answers to be had, at least for now. Recent history supports the idea that such deaths are something Putin would be fully capable of, but he lacks a clear motive that connects them all; as some close Russia watchers have observed, Russia’s cutthroat business culture is at least equally likely to be culpable as a repressive Kremlin. In both cases, there’s a distinct dearth of evidence — but the speculation only underscores the overlapping brutality of Russian business and Putin’s regime. https://www.vox.com/world/2022/10/14/23388516/russian-businessmen-oligarchs-putin-mysterious-deaths-windows

  32. Wrong again! The most recent have been in Moscow and prior to that in Venezuela in September this year. Seriously, do facts ever really mean anything to you or do you not realise they can be easily checked most of the time? And when you make errors - e.g that nonsense about Putin speaking about the freedom of gays to live their lives in Russia when in fact as is totally obvious from the YouTube video his words have nothing to do with Russia since he is just mocking the west(!), you never admit that you are merely spreading Kremlin propaganda. I suppose it takes all sorts!

They're very strict and conscientious about safety and hygiene. For instance, you have to take a shower before doing anything with germicidal soap and use mouthwash. But you take the shower with the boy so it's at least fun. Condoms and lube are in the room. And if you do an outcall they bring the stuff. Japanese lube is weird though... it's super thick and almost like taffy. haha.

  37. Isn't that the same reason you see mostly foreigners working in certain industries like fast food, constructions, etc even in Western countries?! Owners prefer foreign workers with sometimes dubious work permits, so that they can pay them less, offer no benefits and have bigger control. If thy government cracks down on immigrants then those owners will have to offer more to attract the local boys if they want to stay in business. so I think that's because of economical reasons, instead of cultural ones. I'm sure there are plenty of local boys working as freelancers online.

  40. Yes the gay scene in Pattaya is now just a shadow of what it was when I discovered the place in year 2000 and 2001, when it offered a proliferation of bars and gogos. I just hope it lingers on for a few more years to cater for myself and other gay sex tourists and our liking for Asian boys.

  41. I agree, but surely the sad fact is there are far too many around the world who take the wording in the primary religious books as just that - 'fact'. I have written this before some years ago, but there are some who object to the writings and misinterpretations about homosexuality and the fact that Bibles are placed in the bedside drawers in a huge number of hotel rooms. This well known activist whom I shall not name always looked for the Leviticus verses and tore the pages out of these Bibles! Some will object to such 'destruction'. Others will applaud. Well, he is an actor!

  47. It was a crazy Saturday night at Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs because two regular lady customers visited. One Japanese lady customer was locked in embrace and kisses with a particular waiter at the sofa. They then adjourned to Dreamboys in private sofa seat with bottle service to enjoy their show. Yours Truly happened to go to Dreamboys and sit directly opposite them. The particular waiter looked half drunk by the time they left after midnight. The rest of waiters at Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs became half drunk due to a Thai lady customer who showered them with whisky shots. She's a regular and when she comes, most of the staff crowd around her. They even change their music from English songs to Thai just for her and they sing, dance and drink throughout. She ordered shot glasses to be brought out and she personally poured bottles of Jagermeister into each shot glass full to the brim and then gave them to the waiters to drink. Most got 2 to 3 shots while her favourites got more than 5 shots. I presume she tips them when she leaves. I wasn't around to see the tipping but I did find out that her total bill for drinks once hit 20k baht in one night!

  48. Day 4 - In morning, I got hit upon via Grinder by a university student at nearby Chulalongkon University. Early 20s. He wanted to come to my hotel room and he asked for 2pm. So I did not have anything planned for early afternooon and waited patiently. 2pm and there was no word from him. I had to send a message asking if he was coming. At 2.30pm, he replied that due to school work, he had to postpone to 5pm. At 5pm, he messaged to say he would be late. I smelt a scam. I wanted to cancel but Netflix saved him by keeping me occupied the whole afternoon. "Near now. Please wait," he said at 5.30pm. He finally arrived at 6.10pm. I was glad that I waited. He was very willing to please and worth his short time tip. However, during the afternoon while waiting for uni guy to appear, I rejected 2 opportunities to meet - one was from Soi 6 massage guy L whom I saw yesterday and another was young Thai working as engineer who found me on Grinder. In fact, I would count it as 3 opportunities lost because fellow forum member went to One Spa and I could have joined him but didn't. Thankfully, uni guy and I clicked when we met so I have no regret at the 3 missed opportunities. In evening, I went to Circus on Soi 4 for dinner. Sat at front row perfect view to eat slowly and watch people passing by. I enjoyed seeing the reactions of curious straight tourists who walked in and did a U-turn back out. Seeing the Jupiter guys report for work was a treat. I stopped B, a Laos Jupiter guy and offered him dinner. He said he had eaten but he was accommodating to sit with me for a few minutes to chat. B is a longtime guy I know from Banana Bar. I swear he gets more handsome every thing I meet him. He agreed to an off for Sunday night. I noticed many (Asian) bears going up the stairs to Hugs Bar. Glad to see that there are niche places for different interests. A group of European-looking older gentlemen sat to my right at Circus and had beer. Later, I would see them at front row in Dreamboys watching the show. Circus had a cabaret show inside srarting at 9pm, with its Aussie owner taking limelight as show announcer. At 9.15pm, I paid my bill and made my way to Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs.
