Day 5 here we go! This is the part of the trip where the excitement is still there but I can no longer ignore the jetlag and the fatigue coming mainly from days 1 to 4. So after Ghanaian guy left, I felt the need to properly recharge in order for me to fully enjoy the remaining days - reminding myself that this trip is a marathon not a sprint. Woke up at around 11am with a message from "lone wolf" (see Day 2 report) asking if I'm keen to get some crabs. I responded saying that as long as she's referring to the crustaceans, she can count me in. She then forwarded a link of this restaurant in Khet Taling Chan (Mae Khlong) which is quite far to where I would go for food. But having read the glowing reviews saying how popular this restaurant is with locals, I was convinced. Imagine having good food while people watching! We meet up at Iconsiam, loaded up on coffee and took a taxi for possibly an early dinner gig. Overall, the food was so worth the trip especially if you like seafood dishes. I particularly enjoyed the grilled crab with roe on shell and the giant river prawns. We order a couple more item and it became obvious that it was too much. I looked around and other items looks yummy too. Kinda the same feeling when you're sitting with a bar boy and enjoying yourself but also eyeing and low key jealous of the customer and his guy at the other table! We parted ways and I decided to give Arena another go. I was a bit self conscious how my breath will be like so I got myself a brush and toothpaste in 7-11 before taking the lift to Arena. After a mind boggling selection process, I asked the uncle to tell my guy not to massage my feet and leg because I have an injury. He walked up to the guy, whispered something and my guy (who introduced himself later as kao) gave me a thumbs up. Hopefully this trick will avoid the masseur for spending so much time down there. The session with Kao was quite an enjoyable one. Not as intense but exactly what I need given the heavy meal I had prior! I'm glad i went to 7-11 prior as Kao seems to enjoy kissing a lot. I stepped out of Arena feeling a lot refreshed. I then decided to walk towards Starbucks in Montien Plaza while waiting for things to get busy in Surawong. After my coffee, I walked a bit further through patpong market and attempted to satisfy my curiosity by going to Banana Club. Not sure if it's just a bad night or completely a wrong decision in my part but I did not enjoy my time in there. There were only four guys on stage alternating between performances. I know it only takes one guy to make one's bar experience extra special but unfortunately, I can't see any of the four fulfilling that role. After about 40 minutes, I decided to leave and give Jupiter a visit. Jupiter is totally another Kettle of fish but from experience, I'm already expecting that the possibility of an off will be very slim. I think it got something to do with how the guys project themselves onstage or most probably how they were told to do so. Maybe it's just me but the stage feels more like a catwalk with most guys giving that standoffish model vibe. I can see a couple of ex dreamboys guys in there and remember having good fun with them. But given the vibe they are now projecting, I decided not to call anyone down and just enjoy the show. Jupiter is a type of club I imagine myself bringing my female best mate in and we can have lots of good time - but not a place I can source my BF for the night (and next morning). Don't get me wrong, maybe Jupiter's approach works for other clientele. And maybe I'm just not their key target market? With a not so successful attempt at bars, I decided to taxi back to my place and possibly look at the apps. Found this guy visiting from the Philippines who turned out to be an MB. He showed up half an hour later. I was pleased that he got good banter and can carry a decent conversation. I opened up a bottle of wine apologising to him that it's not the best but he drank more than half of it like a champ. We eventually found ourselves in the bedroom and after the deed had a quick shower and he stayed a couple more hours for a chat. Today may be a mixed bag bar-wise. But overall, I felt happy and satisfied and can go to bed with a cheeky smile on my face. Got a week more left so I can still afford nights like these.9 points

Suvarnabhumi's SAT-1 terminal to soft-launch Sept. 28
Phoenixblue and one other reacted to reader for a topic
Excerpted from Tourism Authority of Thailand press release Covering a total indoor usable area of 251,400 square metres and apron area of more than 260,000 square metres, the SAT-1 terminal is a four-storey building with two basements. The B2 level is home to the APM Station. The B1 level is for the systems control room. G level houses the Baggage Handling System (BHS) and offices. Level 2 is dedicated to arrival passengers and those on flight connections. Level 3 is the departure area with a waiting area for boarding passengers in an open gate style layout and shops lining along the hallway. Level 4 is set aside for passenger lounges, airlines’ lounges, and other facilities. The building is connected to the main terminal by an underground tunnel with a length of about one kilometre. Operating inside the tunnel are the APM system, the BHS, and two airside service roads. Travelling from the current terminal to the SAT-1 terminal is by means of the APM, an unmanned electric vehicle with rubber wheels used solely to transport passengers. Passengers travelling on international flights departing and arriving from the SAT-1 can take the APM. The journey time, including waiting time at the station for passengers, is about three minutes, and the APM can accommodate up to 210 passengers per train per way. The new terminal comes with 28 contact gate aircraft parking stands capable of accommodating 8 Code F Aircraft, such as A380 and B747-8, and 20 Code E Aircraft like B747 and A340. There are 64 passenger loading bridges, 24 of them are under Code F and 40 under Code E. In the initial period, Thai AirAsia X and Thai Vietjet will be operating flights through SAT-1. Thai AirAsia X will operate 14 flights per day, while Thai Vietjet will have four flights a day operating through the SAT-1 terminal. Duty-free delivery counter services, duty-free shops, restaurants, and special passenger lounges will be partially open for operation. The maiden flight to the SAT-1 on 28 September is Thai AirAsia X Flight XJ 0761 arriving from Shanghai at 10.15 Hrs.2 points -
After a long flight, almost always I'm not in the best shape to hustle for a taxi nor negotiate the train system. I usually book a private airport transfer that costs around $17 - all inclusive with two hours waiting time starting when your flight actually landed. It costs a bit more but you pay for convenience.2 points

My first guy in Thailand- it was in Pattaya- failed to achieve an erection. My first gay sex experience had only occurred eighteen months previously and I blamed myself entirely. And, as it transpired, wrongly. A sobering thought; that guy must be fifty years old now. Oh dear.2 points -

Srettha’s New York visit boosted trade and investment

I am sure ASEAN would love to see a World Cup in the region. Apart from the publicity given to the region and the influx of visitors, many quite wealthy, it could do wonders for the development of soccer - just as it did in the USA following 1994 and Japan following 2002. As for fans, I fear their interest in the sport will far outweigh concerns about how liberal or otherwise the host country/countries might be. Just look at what happened with Qatar. When awarded the World Cup, there was an outcry. This continued in the run up to the Finals when the date was for the first time ever changed from summer to late autumn, over many allegations of corruption which have never been fully explained, over the nation's frightful treatment of all the foreign labourers brought in to build the new stadia, about alcohol being illegal and its legal stance against homosexuality. Massive amounts of media time were given over to how this would result in Qatar being boycotted by various communities and be virtually a phantom World Cup. In the end, it turned out to be a monster success. With Saudi Arabia slowly taking steps to open up to tourists and easing some restrictions on its own peoples, I cannot see that in 11 years time this will stop fans from visiting. Much more pressing for FIFA, an organisation that used to be hugely corrupt and seems not to have changed as much as it said it would, it will face huge challenges from the main footballing and revenue-generating centres of Europe and South America. Since the mid-1950s the Finals had traditionally altered between the Americas and Europe. Since 2002, though, there have been 2 in greater Asia and one in South Africa. South America will not have hosted a FInals since 2014 in Rio (athough some matches will be played in Mexico in 2026) and Europe since 2018 in Russia. I reckon there will be great pressure for Europe to be awarded 2030 and then South America in 2034. But my crystal ball may be somewhat cloudy 😵2 points -
Don't understand that math. The more you spend the larger the amount of $$$ saved. Even if I only spend 250 reals per night, the daily cash discount of roughly US $5 amounts to a saving of $50 over my typical ten days at Lagoa. Seems like a nice, easy windfall to me. Of course $50 may be negligible to some others and good for them!2 points

Phoenixblue and one other reacted to reader for a topic
As PeterRS says, they're perfectly capable of buying their way into any sport. However, FIFA officials--as much as they would love to get their hands on the cash, gold bars or both--can count on significant push back from every women's sport group, not to mention the LGBT community and the media who haven't forgotten the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. A Thai bid would likely have ASEAN-wide support. And fans could be expected to be more inclined to visit a liberal nation like Thailand.2 points -
I have this thing for a Pornstar I follow on OnlyFans and Instagram. When in Sao Paulo last week I arranged for him to meet me at Lagoa and we had a very hot time. Most of the escorts will know the local saunas anyway and its a nice safe meeting place. As an aside I had a conversation with a local in the locker room who asked me about hiring escorts off the internet in the USA and whether or not it was safe. I told him more or less safe but always have to be careful--he said "Here in Brazil it's not safe!"2 points

Is Indicting Trump A Good Idea?

From CNBC Trump and company liable for fraud in New York lawsuit, judge rules A judge on Tuesday ruled that former President Donald Trump and his company are liable for fraud in valuing real estate properties as alleged in a lawsuit by the New York Attorney General’s Office. Judge Arthur Engoron in his scathing decision canceled the New York business certificates of Trump, the Trump Organization, and the other defendants in the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit, who include two of his adult sons. The judge said he will apppoint an independent receiver to manage the dissolution of the corporations whose business certificates he canceled. Engoron, in granting partial summary judgment to James in the case, found that Trump had made false and misleading valuations for multiple real estate assets in statements to insurers and banks for years. Because of those misstatements, Trump inflated his true net worth in annual financial statements by billions of dollars, according to the decision.1 point -

From Thai PBS World New Move Forward leader outlines strategies for more change in Thai society The Move Forward party will press for more change in Thai society, expand its political base across the country and transform the party into a political institution of the people, newly-elected party leader Chaithawat Tulathon told supporters at the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s youth centre (formerly Thai-Japanese youth centre) in Din Daeng on Sunday. Speaking at a political event entitled “Next Step, Move Forward Throughout the Land”, Chaithawat said that, although the Move Forward party has a new leader, Pita Limjaroenrat remains the party’s prime ministerial candidate. He said that many party members are disappointed while others have lost hope, because the party could not form a government, even though it won the most seats in parliament. “Today, we leave our tears and sadness behind. No more regret,” said Chaithawat, as he urged party members to work with the party to bring about more change. He outlined the party’s four strategies, one of which is to expand its political base to include the whole country. “We will maintain our old turf and to create new ones,” he said, as he urged party members to try harder to win elections in constituencies currently controlled by the other parties. Another strategy is to turn the Move Forward party into a people’s political institute and the third is to perform its duty as the opposition the best it can, to vigorously check the performance of the government in a straightforward manner “without fear and with substance.” The final strategy, said the party leader, is to push for the writing of a new Constitution by a people’s assembly, as he called for a referendum so the people can decide whether they want a new charter.1 point

Actually, I don't believe I've ever off-ed a model from ML. Price aside, I was never sure about the quality of the er, companionship. Hung out with them on numerous occasions though - a female friend of mine had a thing for (with?) Mr. Tum at one point in time, which seems to have ebbed. My regular at ML was one of the twinky dancers, who hailed from Myanmar. He disappeared from ML after a bit, returned home, returned to Bangkok and popped up at Hotmale. Last time I saw him, he was sitting along Soi 4 with an older farang john, looking bored out of his skull. (His English skills are limited, though I suspect his conversational skills even in his native tongue may not be extensive.) I'll say this for him: he never asked me for a 5000-baht tip.1 point -

Sunee is a quick motorbike taxi trip to and from the Complex. Over the years I’ve returned 3 up with an offed boy from Winner to my Complex hotel. Memories of blasting through the night air with a boy clinging on behind me !. I’ve always checked out Winner during my trips particularly when I’ve wanted a twink for the night. It’s a “traditional” Gogo where you can call boys down to sit with you, maybe use the cushions to check out their cocks or tongue kiss them, after giving them a tip.1 point -

Normally true, except if your governor in USA freezes all COLA increases for State Workers as was done by Governor Chris Christie in NJ. Yes, Chris Christie who is running for President.0 points -
To me the answer is very simple: If you need the money or your health is bad, take your pension as soon as you can. If you don't need the money today, put it off as long as you can on the chance that you will live into your 80s or longer. Then you'll be glad you didn't tap it earlier as the amount will be substantially more and every COLA increase after that will be based on the higher amount.0 points

And many of them may indeed actually be having their first night as a sauna GP (since there is a lot of turnover among newbies who find it is not for them). BUT, I've discovered over the years that a sizeable portion of those who claim to be newbies (having learned many clients like the fantasy of a "sauna virgin" who has not already been despoiled by many hundreds of prior clients) are actually savvy veterans.0 points

Trump edges out Biden 51-42 in head-to-head matchup: POLL https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/troubles-biden-age-reelection-campaign-poll/story?id=103436611 If an ABC/WaPo poll shows Trump winning by 9, then Trump is probably ahead by 20. I am not all surprised that Trump leads Biden by 9 points, and 20 points among voters age 35 and younger. I work in a high school. I noticed that many in this age group, don't identify as Democrat, Republican, or independent, yet they aren't digging the new leftist Marxist party. They see the corruption. They see the mismanagement of their taxes,. They're mad that Dems manipulate illegals for votes, yet clearly they Dems don't care about the American people. They are furious that their 2nd amendment rights are being infringed on, yet Hunter can have a gun. They also believe the country is too divided, weak, vulnerable and find it hopeless & depressing. American vets are lying on the street homeless in every city in the country and Joe Biden is giving $1000 a week to noncitizen illegal immigrants. They absolutely do not like or trust the DC establishment career politicians. This is why they are recognizing Pres. Trump. He isn't a DC politician. He doesn't owe favors to lobbyist or big corporations. As one 9th grader put it during a history class "President Trump is just like Samuel Adams. He's isn't afraid of the DC King." I That is why younger voters are supporting President Trump. It's obvious that He's a fighter for the people.-1 points
