Day 8 When Kao left I felt so happy and energized that decided I can’t leave things as they are. Send Line to Y if he is available, answer come right away and with picture – sick in bed. So I tried SK, only could leave message so I fell asleep, SK actually called me but I was sleeping soo deeply I did not even hear that. So I guess I was meant to sleep alone that very night. Came for breakfast quite late and it was so full I had problem of finding space. I apologized to SK for missing his message and offered him Mahankhon trip instead. He said he will be there in 1 hr. Then I got into touristy mood and asked him if he wants to go with me to see new tunnel leading to Grand Palace. Off we went, impressive place, most important there are toilets there. Then I hired boat for 1.5 hr canals trip, SK gladly joined me . He is not shy type, even called his mom and show her naïve farang treating him to those forays. Quite clingy on the boat too. We returned to Silom civilization by the tourist boat. At 4.30 I went to Cofee Grinder to meet MA for latest news exchange, next step was dinner at G’Bangkok and it was dark already when I returned to my room. Asked Y if he feels better now, shrewd guy answered that he does and if I want he can come to my room tonight pointing that it’s his day off so I can save money on off fee. Deal. Day 9 It seems I can’t have enough Y , after breakfast I asked him to return to the room for some more intimacies. Can’t blame myself , I like him , both personality and build. I think he appreciates too fact that I engage him so often this trip. Of course I tipped him extra for that overtime. Today MA moved to my hotel so we celebrated that fact by having coffee and bagel in restaurant in the lobby. And decided to go to Jey Spa to try our luck there. There were only 2 guys on duty, both suitable but mamasan said he will call one more in a second and that was good move as new arrival happened to catch MA’s eye. I opted for guy nicked/named Guy, 100% gay by his won admission. Handsome and knows his job but min tip 2500 . Not saying was not worth it but rather on high side. Then I suggested pizza dinner at Madrid so MA and me went there . Madrid Tavern never disappoints. In the evening I went to Patpong 2 hoping SA will be there but they told me he went to Cambodia to take his ailing brother there. Then had few drinks with MA and boys at Hot Male beer bar. There’s new host, named One there. Very nice young gentleman . But somehow I had hots for A at Moonlight so went there only to see him just being taken by customer. He apologetically said “ I know you came here for Y” which was not accurate but what I could do if he was already taken ? So yes, knowing from yesterday that Y will be available only till 2.30 am tonight I took him home anyways. I told you I seem not to have enough of him. We found way to keep us occupied till that 2.30 , than he collected his ST tip and went to Bus Station to pick up his sister as he told me yesterday he will.13 points

Day 10 After Y left I slept well despite of cold bed. Last breakfast today at the hotel as I’m finally moving to Baan Silom. Nice lady who prepared my fried eggs every morning was nicely surprised with tip I left her. In the room I packed then took tuk-tuk which took me to new digs for 100 baht. I left luggage there as they instructed me room will be ready in 1-2 hours ( it was still morning ) and went for a stroll. On corner of soi Tawan repaired my daypack for 70 baht then got a message from MA he is drinking cofeee at Silom 64 so marched there to join him for tea and latest news. Then I took MRT to Hualampong just to check how it is now after most trains moved to Bang Sue or whatever elaborate name of new station is. Central platform is kind of railway museum with exhibit of old stem engines but there are still some trains departing from there. There’s free shuttle bus connecting both stations but doesn’t seem to be too frequent, perhaps one per hour as for time I was surveying station , more than ½ hr it did not departed. When I arrived in hotel room was already free so time for some laundry. Since I like to travel light I have habit that first thing to do in the room is do some washing. In the afternoon we had thunderstorm, about time as it was so far quite dry for rainy season. At 7.30 dinner at G’Bangkok with MA , from there we went to Hot Male beer bar to have some drinks with boys there. I used that occasion to molest new boy One a bit more and of course force some tip on him for his troubles. It was past 10 pm when I got Line message from SK that he just landed and is going straight to my hotel. He was escorting his ailing brother to Cambodia as doctors advised them his treatment will be cheaper there. So waved good bye to gentlemen in the bar and went to hotel, not long after SK arrived. He was both sleepy and hungry and suggested that instead of restaurant he will go and buy something to eat for him at 7/11 across the street so I gave him 200 baht to do some shopping. Yes , upon return he gave me a change with receipt. Food energized him quite a bit so we had some exercises instead of talking politics in Mauritius.12 points

Summer in Bangkok, another trip report this year

Day 7 we woke up at 6 and after short wrestling session and shower went for breakfast. That early I expected hotel restaurant to be empty and to my surprise it was almost full. Back in the room I tipped him. He did not seem to be happy, not that I was stingy. He likely noticed I’m surprised with his reaction so put himself together and said ‘thank you Buddha”. That’s better I thought. Problem with occasional over generous tip is that some guys expect it to be permanent fixture and that was likely a case. Today MA and me have tourist program – visit at GMMTV , producer of so many BL series headquarters in Ratachada. We went there by subway. There;s whole procedure before admission to gift shop on 30 something floor. We were told to leave passports on reception before we could enter elevator. Gift shop was mobbed by Asian girls so we both were bit out of place but they were [patiently waiting when we were browsing screens with memorial trinkets they offer for sale . At end of day nothing took our fancy but it was fun. Then we had coffee in Starbucks in the lobby , there were dozens of fans camping there hoping to catch the glimpse of one of their stars I guess. Then we parted ways. I went to Rama IX Central nearby on hunting mission. One of my most favorite guys of all times , M from Senso is hairdresser in one of shops there. I tried to spot him previously but did not succeed and neither I did today. Hope dies last though, it’s always next time ! Upon return to the room and it was already 3 pm I was surprised it was not cleaned yet but I went to XOne to change some money and when I returned it was already tidied. This afternoon I have meeting with guy I met by chance in one of previous trips who is not a guy from the scene. We talked occasionally from time to time . Last time we talked , one of us , I don’t remember who , suggested we should have dinner together one day . Today was the day. Kao is his name or at least it’s how he wants me to call him. I did not have any expectancies but was very curious to see if something more than talk and meal together comes out of it. He arrived on the dot at 5 as agreed. If this trip proved something it was that most boys are very punctual and on time contrary to what some slanderous farangs may say. To break the ice we went to place across hotel with some stalls and had some Lao craft beer there. When subject of something more substantial came he suggested meal in Sizzler on Silom. I liked idea although I don’t usually dine there but few years ago had birthday meal at the place with two other boys in tow. Surprisingly he suggested we walk there, so much about Thai guys being reluctant to walk. Reason given was even more endearing ‘ we will have more time to talk” ( his English is good conversational although he admitted he speaks tongue but doesn’t write it). That was a good sign no doubt. He was visibly reluctant to order as prices there are quite high but I made it easy for him “ do you want that steak?” , ‘too expensive “ , ‘ ok, one for you , one for me “. But I liked fact that he was trying not to take advantage of being treated. Best part came when we were considering drinks ‘ I have a juice, we can buy some beers at 7/11 and drink it in your room “ . Hearing it I thought I just have a stroke as it was something I was afraid even to dream about , him in my room , whoa !!! Nasty surprise came when we went to settle a bill. Not it’s size ( 2045 , not a cheap place I told you ) but fact they don’t take a cash. . Normally I don’ use plastic when I travel unless not given a choice and in Thailand I don’t even carry cards with me , keeping them in safe box. I like cash. If Guardian Angel did not suggest I take wallet with me just in case I wouldn’t. If I did not it were so embarrassing. I generally boycott places refusing to take cash and now I’m even more inclined to boycott them so likely it was my last visit at Sizzler Silom in this life for that very reason. Uff ! So we did as planned , stocked up on beer at 7/11 near hotel and went straight to the room. Yes, we drank all that beer and had very nice conversation and yes, as evening was unfolding we slowly but surely become bit more closer and closer but that’s nobody’s business. From what I thought it will be sober and well behaved evening it turned out to be quite romantic and interesting one even if two things were excluded by Kao from the menu – kiss and long time. Not that he was in rush to go , I was trying to use fact that he drunk quite a bit to keep him here even pointing to the fact that there’s bed in bedroom a but also sofa in the living room but he was firm “ I drive slowly and will sleep at home “. So around midnight I decided I let him go, I did not want him to get too drunk. We already agreed to met on another day this trip. It was one thing I was not sure how to handle not to create any offense to such great guy. You got it – should I tip or not. I decided to abandon any pretense of diplomacy and asked straight away “ can I give you some money?” to get an answer “ of course”. So I did. Long live Thailand where casual conversation may lead to such great afternoon and evening I thought when he closed door.11 points -

Obama is relevent because he used to say 'yes we can" , that's why . He was born in Hawaii which is not part of Ethiopia for good 2127 years if not more. His father was from Kenia, bit closer to your target. Glad to inform you he retired in his country of birth i.e. USA ,no doubt taking your enlightened advice. on topic of entry stamps , you right it can be extended while in country but that's no help to OP as he already left. If one leaves , stamp expires ie. if somebody has stamp till say Sept 1st but leaves Thailand today Aug 26 , can't return after tomorrow on Aug 28 for another few days using Sept 1st stamp, instead will receive another stamp for 30 days from Aug 28. Rest your information about stamp is accurate and confirms what I said in my original post so OP will be doing right thing taking both mine and your advice as they are all the same i.e. one can return to Thailand even day or two after leaving and will receive new 30 days stamp. As for Ethiopia few pictures so you know what you are talking about :9 points -

Young Thai is New Badminton Mens Singles World Champion

Ten years ago 18 year-old Ratchanok Inthanon became Thailand's first World Badminton Women's Champion when she won in 2013. Tonight at this year's World Championships in Copenhagen, Thailand's 22-year old Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Bangkok, the current World No. 3, became the nation's first-ever Men's Singles World Champion. He beat another 22-year old, Japan's Kodai Naraoka, in three sets in one of the longest badminton matches I have ever seen. Some years ago, Khun Kunlavut was the World Junior Champion for three successive years. One of those he beat in the final in 2018 was the same Kodai Naraoka! He now seems certain to enjoy much more international fame and success for over the next decade. Photo: AP4 points -

Summer in Bangkok, another trip report this year

I love hearing about your holiday. Thank you for the great reports! I recently sent 2,000 baht to an Instagram guy in Chonburi I wanted to meet. This was for a taxi to BKK (Know 1,000). But, I wanted to try anyway. 10 minutes later, he asked if I could send him again as his mother stole the money. I refused. Then, he wanted me to meet him at a mall in BKK, and again I refused. 100 conversations later, he told me his university was starting and needed shoes and could I help. I politely told him to get the money his mother stole from him back and buy 4 pairs. He said he was not lying and he wanted a life with me (never met). I told him I am not one to make the same mistake two times (again not true as I have before). But, that stopped his messages about life, love, and the pursuit of a date. Shocking I have not heard from him. Like you, I don't mind if it is legit and it is often a hard call but some are so so fucking obvious it is nuts. At least get in a fake taxi and say the driver would not drive you past the mall (or something).4 points -

From Thai PBS World The Pheu Thai party’s popularity would drop by 62.24%,while the popularity of the Move Forward party would increase by 62.39% if there were to be a new election today, according to the findings of a Blockchain poll, jointly conducted by Sripatum University and D-vote. The two pollsters gauged the opinions of 1,253 people aged18 and over with various occupations and educational levels between August 21st and 24th on the question: “Which parties will you choose when there is another election?” The poll shows 49.05% of the respondents said they will vote for the Move Forward party, 14.69% for Bhumjaithai, 10.65%for Pheu Thai, 7.52% for Palang Pracharath, 7.14% for United Thai Nation and 4.50% for the Democrat party. The poll shows the popularity of the Move Forward party has increased by 62.39% and Bhumjaithai’s by 3.50%. Pheu Thai popularity, however, fell by 62.24%, the Democrats by 9.96%, Palang Pracharath by 6.02% and United Thai Nation dropped by 0.84%. 51.32% of those who voted for Pheu Thai in the May 14th general election said they will vote for Move Forward if there were another election and 10.92% of Pheu Thai voters said they will vote for the other parties. When asked whether Pheu Thai party’s break from Move Forward was planned from the beginning, the poll shows 58.79% of the respondents believe it was plotted from the start between Pheu Thai and the parties in Prayut administration, 25.20% believe it was changed after formation of a government led by Move Forward had failed. 36.52% of respondents believe Pheu Thai’s change of loyalty stems from the party’s concern that its popularity will be negatively affected if Move Forward is in the coalition government, 28.52% said formation of a government will never succeed if Move Forward is included in the coalition. Pheu Thai’s three most favoured policies the 600 baht minimum wage (40.41%), 25,000-baht minimum salary for BA graduates (39.95%) and the 10,000 baht “digital wallet” subsidy (37.47%). Asked about whether Thailand should have a new constitution, crafted by a council elected by the people, 75.53% said they agree, 12.14% said the charter should be amended and 3.85% said the charter should remain as is.3 points -
Not only Japan whose population has been shrinking quite fast for well over a decade. Young Japanese are putting off marrying until much later than before and many couples are either delaying having kids or deciding not to have any. The country's allied problem is that it still does not want to open up its labour market to foreign workers. It is estimated that for population numbers to remain constant, a country's birthrate should be a minimum of 2.1 children per woman of child bearing age. Japan is now at 1.26. Singapore's population has also been shrinking quite dramatically for at least 2 decades. Last year the fertility rate dropped to an historic low of 1.04. The country's economy now depends on well over 1 million overseas workers. South Korea's population started shrinking much later in 2020. But its drop has been much more dramatic and last year stood at a world record low of 0.78. If nothing is done to change the attitude of young South Koreans, it is estimated the country could "lose" close to two-thirds of its population within just one generation. As worrying for Beijing, its four-decade policy of one child per family certainly had the desired effect of reducing its alarming population rise. But it has now joined the list of countries with worrying declines in birthrates. Equally, due to the preference of parents for boys rather than girls, it has a major population imbalance. It is estimated that some 30+ million young men will be unable to find wives. The one child poicy has now been replaced with a recommendation that couples aim to have three children! And like Japan, both China and South Korea are reluctant to open their countries up to a larger number of foreign workers. Unless they do so, the ability of the countries to look after their ageing populations will become increasingly problematic. There are many reasons for population decline, including improved personal incomes. Singapore and Japan have tried to encourage more young men and women to marry with the opening of special centres for meeting members of the opposite sex. Tax and other financial benefits are also available. But so far these do not appear to have more than token success. The major hurdle all countries have to overcome is that recent surveys have shown that more than half of young Japanese and South Korean women in in their 20s do not wish to have children. A survey in China found the percentage to be closer fo 66.6%. Asia is shrinking! https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/singapore-s-birth-rates-hit-record-low-in-2022-along-with-most-yearly-deaths-since-1960#:~:text=Official figures released by the,2021 to 35%2C605 in 2022. https://www.foreignbrief.com/analysis/population-east-asia-decline/#:~:text=EAST ASIA IS SHRINKING&text=China is only the most, children per woman is required.3 points

Visa on arrival
alvnv and 2 others reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
Frippe, you may need to be more specific about your situation, and be more exact about the words you use. Otherwise you may get conflicting advice. If you are holding a Swedish passport, then you are "visa-exempt" for 30 days from date of arrival. You would have gotten an arrival stamp on your passport with date of admission and last date for departure included within the same stamp. I am also from a visa-exempt country and that is what I get each time I enter Thailand. Please do not refer to that arrival stamp as a "visa" or "visa on arrival". It is not a visa at all. When you flew out of Thailand, you would have gotten a departure stamp in your passport. That departure stamp effectively cancels your arrival stamp. So, that means that once you leave Thailand, that arrival stamp is no more. You can enter Thailand again at anytime and get a new 30-day arrival stamp. I have done that many times. My trips to southeast Asia often involve more than one country, so for example, I go to Bangkok, then to Jakarta, then to Singapore, then back to Bangkok... all in the same month. When i enter Bangkok a second time (in same month), I get a new arrival stamp. Obviously, you shouldn't do this like 25 times a year. It will arouse suspicion.3 points -
Fortunately the massage industry--the most democratic of employers--has jobs opportunities for all, regardless of education. From The Nation Thailand running out of jobs for university grads The National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) has warned that new university graduates may find it tough to get jobs as demand is on the decline. This warning came in a recent report released by the agency, which said that new university graduates may be hired at lower salaries or jobs may be given to those with lower qualifications. It said that though the employment situation has improved after the pandemic, the Thai labour market is suffering a mismatch in terms of qualifications. The report cited figures from the Board of Investment (BOI), which showed that demand for university graduates had dropped in 2022 compared to 2018. According to BOI, businesses hired 95,566 employees in 2018, while the number of people employed rose to 168,992 in 2022. However, despite the increase in people employed, the ratio of jobs given to university graduates dropped from 30.1% of overall employment to just 17.2% last year. At the same time, the ratio of jobs for those finishing vocational schools dropped slightly from 23.7% in 2018 to 22.5% in 2022, while the ratio of employment for secondary school graduates rose from 41.1% in 2018 to 57.3% in 2022. The report said companies that have received BOI privileges to operate in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) also hired more people with lower education levels. Just to clarify: "visa on arrival" and "visa exempt" are different things. People from the countries in 10tazione's list are entitled to the visa-exampt 30 day stamp. The 15-day "Visa on arrival" applies to citizens of Bulgaria, Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and there is a desk in the airport before immigration where you apply for it. (caveat: this list came from some random web page so may not be 100% accurate!)3 points -

Just to be pedantic, sorry. A lot of western and neighboring Asian countries do not need visa on arrival In Thailand. It is 14-90 days visa exempt. Most gets the 30 days as I suppose it’s due to a bilateral agreement with each of them. Notable countries needing visa on arrival are China and India. They immediately pay some fees coming to Thailand. Some of the lucky countries getting 90 days visa exempt are South Korea, Brazil and Argentina.3 points -

when comes to me and Thai trips it doesn't work. If I arrive in the morning I want to have an access to shower and room right away instead of risking to wait till 2-3 pm so usually book room in some economical hotel like Nantra Silom for the night before and then move to something upscale like Baan Silom etc. for following night or next day The same for those flights departing late evening or just past midnight - I book room for that night as well for the same reason3 points -
most popular I heard over years is roommate forgot / lost key, motorbike is parked in wrong spot and yes, somebody in family had accident and he needs to go to hospital. I also recall 4am story ' I need to go now because I promised my friend to help with moving this morning" Whatever those stories are I don't see any sense of resisting and I just let them go taking my revenge next time they try to get another off . I tell them bluntly, no because last time you went earlier than agreed. Usually they use those tricks when they initially agree to long time just to land a deal and they don't have any inclination to stay that long or they find me boring and decide going back to bar or to bed is better option. So much for guys needing money. On another hand I don't mind if they tell me in advance they need to go. On this trip I had three legitimate early leavers, two cases were relatives in hospital indeed, enforced with pictures at their beds there. Another one was need to pick up somebody from bus station but it was announced when offing and mamasan was asked to inform me about that too.3 points

PM to look into extending tourist visas to 90 days
splinter1949 and 2 others reacted to Gaybutton for a topic
I hope those kinds of thoughts will extend into expats and retirement visas. I doubt many expats are thrilled with the idea that financial requirements, and perhaps other requirements as well, may be raised. I hope the new administration will realize that tourists are not the only ones who spend money. and a lot of it, in Thailand. What about us expats, many of who have lived in Thailand for years and spend money here virtually every day? That never seems to be taken into consideration. I can understand wanting to get rid of the "bad guys", but what about the "good guys" that make up the vast majority of retirement visa holders living in Thailand? Punish the majority to expel the small minority? I hope not.3 points -
Day 3 In the morning MJ joined Y and me breakfast and after breakfast I got bit amorous so asked Y to return to the room for a little bit more electoral discussions. 1 hour, 1 thousand , pure pleasure. Today I’m planning to see latest Indiana Jones movie, MK expressed an interest in that as well and so did Y as soon as I mentioned about such an opportunity. When Y left I went to Sam Yan Mitrtown to buy a tickets which turned out not necessary to do in advance as cinema was hardly crowded. In early afternoon MK and me walked there all the way from hotel. Y appeared at the same time, so much about boys not able to keep appointed time . As for movie itself I liked it, 2 hours action non stop although story itself bit too sophisticated for my liking but I won’t say more not to spoil it for those who did not have a chance to see movie yet. I asked Y if he will be interested in repeating last night which made him visibly happy, which in turn boosted my ego exponentially and I had sweetener for that deal too. MJ and his friend are planning seafood buffet dinner atop of Baiyoke Sky tonight, MJ asked me to join in as I know his friend and I in turn asked Y if he would be interested to attend. He smiled even more broadly thinking probably “that old fool is spoiling me today big time”. He arrived at hotel on the dot and at 6.30 pm our trio took taxi to Baiyoke where MJ’s friend was waiting for us already at the entrance. Great time was had by all, food and conversation were excellent although I couldn’t utilize food in full tending to be bit allergic to the seafood. After dinner we went to moving platform on the top to admire Bangkok by night and take some pictures. Great evening and great company. Upon returning to hotel we did not waste much time to return to our discussions, this time about subway plans for Asuncion , Paraguay and Maputo, Mozambique. Day 4 started soon after midnight. Somebody threw party and with walls paper thin it was noisy to a point of nuisance. I’m actually surprised that hotel management did not intervened as it could be certainly heard on reception. Since I had such company I was not that much interested in sleeping so we carried on. When they stopped it was already dawning so we got some sleep in the morning. Over breakfast conversation came to subject of Mahanakhon. Not sure who started it but it turned that Y never was there so I suggested we go today. Pilgrimage to that glass at 314 meters above the ground is my must do every trip. Y went home to change clothes and when we met at the tower 1.5 hr. later all I could say was ‘wow’ . Certainly he dressed for occasion. Yes, I saw few heads turning , both in lobby and at the top. Neither hysterics nor excessive sweating on the glass which can’t be said about every boy I invited there and I invited quite a few over years. I suggested we have a drink and was surprised that after carefully studying price list he asked for coffee, cheapest item. That guy is a gem. Not that I did not know before. Word of advice for those entertaining idea of taking boy there. Since that’s quite expensive foray please make sure that guy you are inviting there is really interested in going and not doing that just to make you happy. I had few guys who did not enjoy the heights and even one who said afterwards that he would prefer to receive half admission fee ( 880 baht ) in cash instead. Anyways Y was happy and so was I. After quite intensive 2 days in his company I told him he will be free tonight as I had other plans but promised to see him again. We do have chemistry , that’s good news. I returned to hotel to have a rest after sleepless night. In the afternoon I went to soi 6 where N, the masseur was surprised to see me . Of course we had massage session which turned more romantic than therapeutic. For dinner I suggested to MK Madrid Tavern to which he agreed and we went there by BTS and walked from Saphan Taksn Station. Lady’s reaction there was funny “ you still here, you told me last time you going home ?” so I explained that in fact I left and I’m back again. Not sure she was convicted though. Anyways pizza was great as always. We returned to Silom by bus and resolved to visit Tawan tonight as both MK and me are fond of their offerings. So hour or two later with pockets full I went there , MK was already in. as always I was mobbed by boys but used MK presence claiming he is my boyfriend and won’t be offing anybody tonight which eased a bit of tip requests. I was hoping S will be there and he was indeed so I secured him for long time tonight but we soldiered on in the bar till midnight when bar started emptying. Again it was no problem walking there, S modestly asked for some food on the street. Tonight my floor was quiet , no party , no noises so it felt like just S and me. He knows what I like and I know what he likes (over market tips ) so again great chemistry.3 points

From Thai PBS World The new government will consider extending tourist visa validities from 30 days to 90 days and the easing of immigration procedures, to make them more convenient for foreign tourists, said Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, responding to call from tourism business operators for the government to boost the tourism industry. He also said, however, that the proposal from some tourism business operators for the government to exempt entry visas for tourists from China, India and Russia is a different issue, which has security implications and has to be considered carefully. The prime minister met today (Saturday) with tourism businesses in Phang-nga province, to listen to their problems and their recommendations for tourism promotion and views on the potential of wellness and health tourism along the Andaman coast. The meeting also discussed the possibility of renovating an old airport in Phang-nga, to accommodate small commercial planes, and the promotion of tourism in local communities, to boost sales of local products and the incomes of local people. It is reported that there are about 3,000 communities which have the potential to develop a local tourism business, but most of them are not properly registered and, therefore, have no access to state support. The prime minister told the meeting’s participants that, although the Pheu Thai party does not have a single MP in Phang-nga, Krabi, Phuket or Ranong provinces, he will treat these provinces without discrimination and will try to boost tourism there, because he wants “to be the prime minister for all Thais.”2 points

Ativo liberal could mean anything, so in reality it means nothing lol It is better to check what you want to avoid misunderstandings I believe the guys have some memory issues and forget that they bottom. Always worth it to check a second time when there is no one around.2 points -
One advantage of the love motels is precisely that...no one leaves until they have confirmed that both parties are safe. The main door access is controlled by the reception, meaning they do not allow the other party to leave until they check with you. So yes, in my opinion this is a huge advantage to the Love Motels in Colombia. The management know precisely what is going on and are there to ensure your safety.2 points

The new PM is talking about allowing everyone with a visa exemption to stay 90 days instead of 30 in an effort to boost tourism. I don't know how many tourists are able to even stay for 30 days let alone 90, but for retirees who want to stay for longer periods it would be good depending on how often you can do it2 points -

@numazu I just read your 2018 recount, and it was so exciting. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets those stomach-butterflies. I had a lot of fun and even fell in love with not just one but two, well, three garotos. Well, my Friday was pretty eventful. I went shopping in Jardins (southwest zone) and then had dinner with one of my gp from Lagoa. I have to admit that besides the cocks, São Paulo has the best Japanese food ever. Wow! almost as good as those big and thick cocks É. E tão grande e grosso. I went to Lagoa, but I didn't stay long because I met another gp and took him to my hotel. It was tough to get a private room at Lagoa, and the only one available was the cheapest one, which I don't like because it's too hot and lacks a bathroom or shower. I'm currently on a break and will head to HotHouse, afterward.2 points -
Lucky you! I’ll never trade the feeling of my first time in a sauna in Brazil. If you’re interested in knowing how that went, it’s all here: Anyway, to your question, yes mobile phones are allowed in the saunas so you’ll have that to help you. And thank goodness for Google Translate! How did we ever survive without it? I do have a few tips for you to make those transactions with these hot men a little bit easier. This definitely helped me starting out. After that though I’ve decided to be fluent in the language and that was one of my best decisions I’ve ever made: 1. Take the time to learn some basic words: Even if you will rely on your Google Translator, knowing some words in Portugues will help. Which words? I’d go to YouTube to find out which words to learn. This is a good video that gives you the basic phrases as a tourist. It’ll also get your ears used to hearing how Brazilian Portugues sounds like: So try to brush up on your Obrigados (thank you) and Ois (hello) and Desculpas (sorry) before you go. 2. Know the basic Portugues sex words and phrases. Simply putting “ I’m a top” in Google Translate will result in a slightly different thing than what you intended. So knowing the basic sex terms in Portugues will definitely come a long way. Phrases like: Ativo - Top Passivo - Bottom Versatil - Versatile Ativo liberal - Someone who prefers to top sometimes will bottom under the right circumstances (this is incidentally my sweet spot and my preference of guy in the saunas) Beija bem? - Do you kiss well? Você faz o que? - What do you do/what sexual positions do you do? Quanto? - How much? Chupar - suck Vai me comer? - Will you fuck me? Gozar/Com gozar - to Cum, with cum (sometimes a negotiating tactic) There are a lot of more words to mention, but this should get you started. 3. When using Google Translate, keep it simple. One mistake people often make while using Google Translate is the usage of complex sentences with colloquialisms and jargon that translate differently from what you mean. For example, let’s say your new Brazilian boyfriend invited you to a party tonight. You just realized that your butt is sore due to the non-stop pounding you just received from that 10 inch dick. You take you phone and type in the sentence “Can I get a raincheck? meaning that you can’t go now but would want to be invited the next time he goes. The translation will be wrong of course, as raincheck is a colloquialism that means something else when directly translated. But just putting in something as simple as “Next time" is good enough to convey the point across. Complex sentences with multiple clauses will more than likely confuse the algorithm of the translator, resulting in garbled translation. Break it up into simpler and more digestible phrases will come a long way. 4. When negotiating price, best way is through your phone. If you’re not familiar on how to count in Portugues, best way to show how much one is willing to pay or to get paid, is to use your phone’s calculator app and putting in the amount to show them, or for them to show you. Sometimes boys will try to say the amount in English but it is sometimes wrong. It’s easy enough to say duzentos when saying 200 reais but when in doubt, use your calculator. Also the calculator’s font size is big enough to get the point across. 5. Don’t use your phone to translate when outside Using your phone to translate inside the sauna or bar or restaurant or hotel room is fine because it is secure. But say you and you paramour are walking hand-in-hand on Rua Augusta and you had the urge to tell your boy how much you love the feeling of his cum shooting inside your butt, but you don’t know how. Don’t just whip pout your phone in the middle of the street and start typing away on Google Translate! That’s the easiest way to get your phone snatched. It can wait till you are inside where it is more secure. I think I’ve covered most of what I feel will help you. In time you will learn the language through immersion, if you are open to it of course. I feel that my experience in Brazil has improved 100 times more significantly by learning the language and connecting with the people. The cellphone is a blessing and a curse: it allows us to communicate with people that we otherwise will have difficulty understanding, but at the same token, having a cellphone with you at all times makes the experience weird and impersonal, at least for me. Besides, it’s better to put down that cellphone to two-hand that 10 inch monster you just paid duzentos reais for.2 points

@premv3 i am in SP now. Have you ever been to Thermas in BCN or Paragoyna in Zurich? Well, Espaco Lagoa Sauna is quite similar, complete with a bar for drinks and food. You can use your cell phone; walk around with it; there's no need for paper at all. The guys or garotos may have limited English skills, but you won't need to do much talking. I used Google Translate and some sign language when necessary. A guy willl ask for 150 to 200 Reales, If you spot a garoto walking around fully clothed there chances are he isn't good for sex . I learned this the hard way when I encountered two hot guys, fully dressed. One didn't treated me will d the other one has a good hard on but he was a cold dish. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but they offer way more delicious guys compared to other saunas i mentioned above. Only a few garotos are pushy, and I didn't entertain them. If you appreciate well-endowed guys you're in for a feast. Some garotos will surprise you with their humoungous cocks . Iwent from 5 pm to late 9 pm, taking breaks because I could barely sit after some of the guys. I typically offered 150 Reales, not to be cheap, but to gauge their reaction. Most likely, their reacted good or bad so it was a good filter, The hotter ones might expect 200 Reales and if they treated you nicely when they went up to 200, go ahead and say yes. Upon entering the Lagoa , they'll provide you with a locker key, two towels sealed in plastic bags (they're quite good), and flip-flops. Head up one floor where you'll find a bar with tables, similar to Barcelona Thermas. After meeting with a guy, you'll go another floor up to another cashier who'll give you a private room. I can't recall the exact prices, but there's a basic option with a TV and a bed that can get quite warm. My favorite, costing 55 Reales, includes AC, TV with movies, and a private bathroom. Called suites There's a third floor with more private rooms, starting from room number 13 and onwards. Additionally, there's a small bar, a small gym for the guys, and a TV room. Just when you think you've had the best guy, a new garoto with an amazing body/cock will show up. I often wished I could split myself in two or more to savor all the succulent garotos. As in any sauna with gayforPay, the best garotos are in high demand, so if you find one, grab them. but they always will be busy and not hanging around for too long While some gartotos may not meet your expectations, considering the price range of 150-200 Reales (roughly 30 to 40 American dollars), it's a great deal for a try and error. Sao Paulo boasts some of the hottest and nicest guys. i saw all types, mostly masculines, and by 6 /7 pm were a lot muscle guys, blonde black and in between Best of luck, and feel free to ask if you have any questions. I'm typing on my phone, so please forgive any typos. 😜 Tonight, I plan to visit one of the stripper bars, and I'll provide you with a report on those places. I'm not a young guy, so the garotos at the sauna wore me out, if you catch my drift. 😆 I have to recuperate during the daytime. And if you're a expert/slutty bottom, like me, be prepared. Even the most experienced and voracious bottom will be exhausted by the end of the day. I wish I had some numbing cream to handle those real 9/10 inches. Of course, not all the guys are that well-endowed, but I'd say about half of them are.2 points -
blend of string of lucky coincidences clearly steered from above and Foodland Patpong mysterious vibes. Dates back to Januray trip. I was breakfasting with one of my boys when he gestured to somebody behind my back. Since nobody was standing there it was clearly to somebody who was passing by and did what I always do there - check who is sitting inside. Seconds ago another motion to very handsome guy , even from distance, who entered restaurant. So of course being soft hearted and always generous when he approached I asked him to sit with us and order whatever he wants on my tab. It made him wide eyed but my boy said something , most likely ' relax, he will pay" . We did not talk much but it turned out he lives in the same place my boy's brother does. Whether roommate or just neighbour I don't know to this day. By my company clearly he could gather I like boys and more inquiring mind would say , boys in the morning. This probably would finish whole story if not a fact that coincidentally I met him on the street later that day and again day or two later. Not that sensational as he works shifts in the area but on another hand Silom and Suriwong are busy streets. Again , we did not talk much , wai and hallo on first occasion and farang style handshake , initiated by him, I remember that very well , on the second. It was then when I realized I have some interest in him. In May Guardian Angel went to action again, we met in passing on one of days, it turned out we remember each other quite well and even we had some small talk and then he said something to effect " hope to see you soon". So when we bumped into each other this trip for 4th time it was clear we are meant for each other and one of us suggested we have meal together and to facilitate that we exchanged Line as his shifts seem to be irregular. Rest is , as they say , history. But also future as we will learn soon. Surely I should act much sooner but knowing that he is not from the scene made me quite apprehensive even if fact he saw me first with the boy settled expectancies somehow.1 point

Visa on arrival
floridarob reacted to Boy69 for a topic
Thanks for the clarification it's more clear now. If I count the number of countries that eligible for Visa exemption/visa on arrival it's roughly third countries of the world, this leaves two third of the other countries to do visa at the local embassy, It's very rigid immigration policy that wasn't like that at my first visit to Thailand 24 years ago. I asked my Colombian boyfriend if he wants to travel to Thailand with me he must do visa at the local Thai Embassy in Bogota and he's refusing to do so all he said let's look for more friendly countries to visit.I don't blame him .1 point -

Any knew news on October 1st Visa Requirement?
Boy69 reacted to Musclelover10 for a topic
This new visa Brasil requirement thing for USA citizens traveling to Brazil is a bummer. I can't get any information about the process. It's really frustrating. I haven't been able to book my trip to Fortaleza and Rio, because I don't know if I'm going to be able to secure a visa on time. I'm planning on heading there, right around the time this BS visa thing goes into effect. So, it's very close. I need to find out about the process at least a month (by September 1, 2023) before I start booking tickets and accommodations in Brasil. I do not want to risk booking non refundable tickets and then not being able to get the visa on time. I keep calling the Brasil embassy in my state, and no one can give me an answer. They keep telling me, there will be delays, and they can't guarantee that I will receive the visa on time. I have no clue why the Brazilian gov thought it was a good idea to put this new visa requirement policy in place. I have all these plans in Fortaleza, all these regular hunks, and porn stars waiting for me in Fortaleza..It would be a pity , if I don't make it to brasil due to BS visa requirement. At this point, I'm starting to look at Spain as my plan B. I have heard wonderful things about it. I'm already researching fares and accommodations there for autumn trip. The prices are starting to come down in Spain now, so a 10 days vacation there would not be that expensive. Right now, I'm looking at staying in Madrid for 5 days, and splitting the other 5 days between Barcelona and Valencia. There are no visa requirements there for Americans, I would just need to focus on booking air and hotels. If there are no news about the new Brasil visa things by September 1, 2023, I'm going to start the Spain booking process. Brasil will have to wait until next year, I plan on going there for carnival.1 point -

Silom walkabout last night
BL8gPt reacted to masterchef for a topic
Did a walk about last night in and around the Silom area. Early evening a little rain shower, not enough to put off most. Any Soi 6 massage parlours seemed very quiet. Carried on walking to Sarawong passed the Green Massage, plenty of boys there, again seemed not busy. Walking back, I put my head into Super A. only 4 boys there and not to my liking at all and no other customer. Then just down the road I stepped into Future Boys/Golden Cock. No customer at all, I'm not surprised the boys are scruffy and the place is filthy. As you enter by the bar area on the floor was loads of dishes with left over food. The beer glasses were very murky and the general appearance of the whole place is awful. Why they don't understand the concept of first impressions amazes me. Then they wonder why trade is so quite. Will do another walk around late tonight Friday and check out a few bars an massage parlours I may go to I,19 as some qood looking boys their.1 point -
