  1. Day 14 At 8am HC left , collecting his tip without any grimace so I’m not even sure he was happy or disappointed, not really losing sleep over it. I went for breakfast to Das Berliner, short hop on baht bus from there to Pattaya Night Market which only start coming to life but I bought multipocketed shirt I usually wear when travel as one never runs out need for those. Then parked myself in internet café in soi post office as I had some things to do on computer and find it easier to do it on PC than smartphone or tablet, then , when walking to hotel, Wit from Paradise massage stopped me so it went without saying we have massage session , 1.50 hr , great as always. .He is pressing me for long time , no doubt out of love. After massage I invited him for dinner at Bayview restaurant on Beach Rd where we usually go. Then I went to Tukcom to add some time to my SIM card as it’s expiring tomorrow and being there walked through Sunee Plaza , abandoned to her fate , noticing new shiny laundry on the corner leading to it. Finally some bright spot there. Next step as it was darkening already was Jomtien complex where I parked myself at @home bar , winged with two resident guys of theirs. I treated them with drink and on departure with 200 tip each for their time and decided to return to Boyztown. Jomtien Complex seemed quite slow tonight with sprinkling of patrons here and there. So far quite “ nothing happened day “ but it was nice not to be pressed to do anything with anybody, of course massage with Wit excepted. I arrived just before 11 pm so in time for XBoys show so I went in. Very progressive show with not one but two “special” segments , it was fun to watch Chinese spectators awed at what they saw. I was happy to see A in one number. He is veteran there , tall for a Thai and quite well endowed. For me his personal attraction is that he reminds me somebody from my youth. But somehow he did not notice me and after show disappeared so I left empty handed. Not to give up easily I made big circle of Boyztown sois and in 15-20 minutes I was back in front of XBoys. A was sitting at front of bar eating something. This time he recognized me immediately , rushed to greet me which I used to ask romantic question” you sleep with me tonight ?” which was agreed to immediately. I like fast negotiations. I paid off fee, let him finish his meal and we walked over to Classrooms to complete our deal. He is quite conversationalist as well , told me about his family and work and all in all we had great time. Longer it lasted , grater it seemed. Notwithstanding his physical attributes mentioned earlier he is simply very decent guy and to spice it, knowing well why he was invited. One of those offs which will stay in memory and I still remember our first , pre-covid meeting. So while days in Pattaya tend to be boring , both nights so far turned excellent. Knowing who I will be hosting tomorrow I can already say that all nights in Pattaya this trip were outstanding .

  2. Day 13 None of us was in rush but we went for breakfast downstairs (not included in rate, 240 but quite opulent ) and after that we returned to the room for some more intimacies. I don’t recall whose idea that was but not even necessarily mine. I was happy with him, he was happy with tip. We actually had some homework to do too as after tattoo application yesterday some of his skin peeled off leaving a lot of black ( from ink) skin confetti. But we did good job. At 11 kissed Y good bye , packed , checked out and at noon Christian PFC arrived with taxi driver he arranged and we went to Pattaya. I always thought taking taxi there is excessive spending but recently become keen on it. Yes it cost about 6 times more (1200 ) than taking bus (130+ BTS+ARL ) would but saves half time, like 2 hrs. When vacation time is short every hour counts. Bonus was we had more time to chat , even stopped at some roadside restaurant for quite tasty and cheap lunch (255 for three , drinks included). In Pattaya they dropped me at Classrooms hotel. Along with Zing Resort and Copa my favorite in Pattaya. I tend to alternate my Pattaya stays between Jomtien and Boyztown. I extolled virtues of Classrooms before but I repeat , I like their spacious rooms and very discreet side entry bypassing not only reception but also bar downstairs. That’s hotel where both boy’s and girl’s lovers feel at home and won’t bother each other. Then went for a stroll along Beach Road only to get my heart bleeding because Alt Heidelberg, my favorite restaurant was gutted undergoing extensive renovation and I don’t have any hope it will be back in business. To get my fix of schnitzel I went to Das Berliner instead but while tasty , it’s not the same there. After dinner walk was to Walking Street which is back in business but now quite diversified. A lot of stores selling this or that, plenty restaurants and girl clubs here and there. It sadly looks that converting Pattaya to family destination already started , step by step, store by store. By 2117 process should be completed I guess and then punters will be left with soi 6 and TreeTown bars. After I did tourist part , at 8 pm I parked myself at Castro with an eye for BBB, That’s my routine in Boyztown, always first evening that ritual. After a while, Lek, the mamasan spotted me and greeted with smile so I went to shake hands. He remembered I like Handsome Cambodian (HC) and surprised me telling me he is there. After I offed him in Feb I never heard from him , neither few of my friends who know him as well. We were wondering what happened to him and I was happy to see he is back. Indeed , several minutes later he appeared on their porch but he did not notice me so for now I left things as they are. About time for show to start I went inside and was surprised to find bar completely full. Full was also stage and it was very disappointing as all boys were completely dressed, t-shirt and jeans, no numbers and only 3 bare chested . I proudly noticed that all three are boys I offed in the past , in fact Art and HC quite a few times. All in all there were 6 familiar faces and they all recognized me smiling , HC being last one. He was as surprised as I was hour ago and when I motioned he joined me immediately. We have a bit of history , good and bad but if I have weak spot for anybody it’s him. Sometimes I need it , like today when he gulped 3 rounds of beer (boy drink is 350, mine 400 ) without even asking me if I’m Ok with that. Of course I will be offing him but when came to paying bill I was surprised twice, first I was charged for 5 drinks but we consumed 4, second off fee turned out whopping 1000 baht , the same like models at Moonlight. That’s excessive greed. I refused to pay for that extra drink so they reduced bill by 350, gnashed my teeth and paid the rest. I should mention show but it was more or less the same like always with BBoys being stars, they even dragged one girl from audience to funny number of simulated sex. She was performing admirably , lucky girl with all those hunks. A lot of screaming and noise but this is when there are so many girls in audience. After show we went to the room , actually our first off was to the same hotel. Then he wanted me to go separately , now he did not mind to walk along. How times changed I reflected. I was happy, was he too? I guess so. Deep in the night there was that endearing moment when he really become very clingy and cuddled to me like finally he realized that if I like him , he should at least skillfully pretend he does like me as well. It was quite nice and I must say romantic.

  3. INTRODUCTION That was nasty surprise. One evening I felt something between discomfort and light pain. By the morning it was something under my skin which was mildly painful and could be easily felt as it was size of , say 10 baht coin. In the following days it did not grew but mild pain, sometimes just discomfort persisted. Of course in such case we assume the worst and so did I, specially that survived that long without hospitals and treatments. Then there were some obstacles like my workload and my doctor on vacations. Anyways after 4 weeks of kind of terror, more mental than physical though, I got tested. It was Wednesday. On Thursday at precisely 2.14 p.m. phone rung. It was not marketer, it was my doctor. “ Don’t worry , it’s just a cyst and eventually it will be absorbed. Nothing to worry about “ . Thank you doctor, you saved my life again said I. Now, May is my traditional vacation month for two reasons, I’m tired with work and my wallet is packed. But this year for reasons not related to me nor Thailand May vacation were not in the cards. Doctor’s phone changed all that. I said he called at 2.14 p.m. By time I went to bed around 11.30 pm. I had already booked tickets to Bangkok for 6.30pm on Sunday and from there to Kuala Lumpur and back plus all hotels in Bangkok, KL and Pattaya. 72 hours and I was on the road. This was my reward I granted myself on account of good news. I loved it as my best vacations were always on the whim and not planned but with 72 hrs. I was even impressed with myself . Not particularly cheap, in fact my most expensive Thai trip ticket ever and not fast with 2 connections but who cares?. I got clean bill of health and on the road again. What else I may want ? When waked up Sunday morning , day of my departure I noticed very strange thing. Usually in such circumstances I should be dreaming about some naked hunk beside me with my hand on his thing but instead first thing which came to my mind was pizza at Madrid Tavern and schnitzel at Gbangkok. OMG I thought, is that it, am I losing it or what ? In January after Cambodian fiasco I was afraid I may turn lesbian but food lover? Me? It was my first flight through Middle East connection , namely Qatar. I had expectancies based on what I read on the forum and heard from others. I found airline agreeable, service was good although seemed bit disorganized. Food kind of so, so, but would be treat for salt lovers. In short not as great as some claimed and not bad at all. What I loved though was Doha airport and while initially I was not happy with 3 hrs layover , when there I was glad I had so much time for my disposal. Surprise in the airport – relatively few travelers in traditional ‘sheikh” white garb or veiled women. Landed in Bangkok very conveniently at 6.30 am almost no lines in immigration. I wisely decided to buy SIM card before picking my luggage and it popped out exactly in the moment I approached conveyor. So it was breeze. Checked rates at exchange booths and again wisely did not change money as XOne on Suriwong , it turned out, had bit better rate. ARL to BTS, change at Siam, short walk from Sala Daeng to soi 8 and my day 1 started Day 1 To be sure I will have an access to bed and shower I booked room at Nantra Silom for night before. Bit horror as they initially couldn’t find my reservation but finally they did. Not much changed from last time I was there pre-covid. Breakfast served no more and computers are gone from the lobby. Room was clean , A/C was working and so was shower. Safety deposit box did not but me , always naïve decided to take a chance and left is as is hoping for the best , as it turned out , rightly so. One thing was missing – not even one hanger. But with markets in soi 10 and soi 5 across Silom deficiency easily fixable. It was morning so next step was breakfast in world famous Unesco heritage Foodland Patpong where I was recognized by at least 3 waiters and greeted with smile, shortly boss himself was passing by and wai me as well. Welcome home vinapu thought I. Then round of area, I always like scenes and smells of morning market in Patpong 1, went to XOne to exchange money , Silom market to buy, you guessed rightly 5 hangers for 50 baht. ( no, I did not donate them to Nantra, took with me and only left in my last hotel ). Returning to hotel I saw short but very muscular guy in front of one of massage places in soi 6. He noticed my interest and run toward me trying to secure massage but I was sleepy despite this being only noon so promised to see him later . Lets call him N and we will hear about him often in this report. But now I collapsed on the bed exhausted by long trip and jet lag which is tormenting me more and more as I age. I did not sleep on the plane and to add , two ladies sitting in my row were yakking quite loudly for most of the flight. Returned to life around 3pm and yes , went to see N. It was very good decision as massage was excellent, it truly was. Not particularly cheap, 950 for the shop for 1.5 hr and N wanted 2000 for his troubles but I was happy, particularly that he came with idea of overnight with me before I even managed to opened my mouth. Well massaged , thus invigorated and feeling hungry marched toward Suriwong and in front of Tawan I saw Dum , boy I offed several times, sitting proudly on motorcycle. It turned out that during day he is motorsai driver , returning to bar duties at night. So asked him to give me ride to Madrid Tavern in Charoen Krung soi 49, paid him 60 baht. Business is business. Lady at Madrid not only recognized me immediately, right away asked : “Chang , no glass ?” and when I selected spinach and cheese pizza she expressed shock why not my usual shallots and cherry tomatoes so I was forced to change to my usual. Also asked about my friend whom she did not see for quite long meaning Christian PFC as we dined there many times on both old location and current. I promised to bring him in one day. Getting dark so time for bars, first go to HotMale beer bar where I met reader and after a while we decided to check on Banana club in soi 4 which I consider 2nd most friendly bar after Tawan and even Lucy is not able to change that. I called one of boys to sit with me loyally telling him I already have boy for the night but we had pleasant time and tipped him 500 just for fun of it. Lucy of course tried to leech some tip but I stood my ground although she was tempting me with showing her knee , go figure. Next step was Moonlight. A, the hunk I offed on my last nights in last two trips spotted me right away , came to shake hands and asked for drink which I gladly bought hoping to have nice time holding his massive forearm. But after sip or two he asked me to let him to greet some client so old idiot I agreed and he never returned that evening obviously having better time there . So my 400 were misspent so to speak. While I like him very much thank you I still considered it rude and taking me for granted. Leaving bar I not only knew who is sleeping with me tonight but I also knew who won’t for sure this trip. On my way home I peeked into Tawan but they were already emptying so promised to see them another night. N showed as promised at 1 and we had indeed good time so trip started well.

  4. I'm delighted the A380 will not end up in the graveyards to which it was due to be consigned pre-covid. But the trans-Atlantic route has been a veritable graveyard for start up airlines. Starting, I believe, with Sir Freddie Laker's Skytrain cheap daily flights across the Atlantic in 1977. In its first year it was a major success and Laker expanded his fleet of DC10s. The 80% capacity was well ahead of the 50% break-even. But Laker had not considered the dirty tricks thrown into the airline's path by the established carriers, especially BA, Pan Am and TWA. There were many reasons for Skytrain going bust, the conspracy of the legacy carriers being just one. Laker expanded too quickly, public confidence in the DC10 dropped after 2 flown by Turkish and American Airlines had crashed with the loss of all lives, undercapitalisation and others. The legacy carriers later admitted to conspiring to put Skytrain out of business and Laker won £85 million in damages. BA's dirty tricks campaign was repeated when Virgin Atlantic started up as a full service trans-Atlantic carrier. BA was determined to put it out of business. Virgin sued and won damaghes, costs against BA and a public apology. Several trans-Atlantic all business class airlines have started up betwen the UK and USA. Eos, MAXjet airlines and Silverjet all had their brief moment in the sun before going bust. Only BA now runs a 737 as an all-business class flight, but it has a brief stop at Shannon in Ireland for customs and passport checks to make the trip faster and more convenient. According to the media release, Global will have a 3 class product - first, business and economy - and a total of 484 seats. This compares to 620 on an Emirates 2-class A380. With one flight a day at the outset, it has no way of competing with the legacy carriers - BA has 12 daily London/New York flights and in total there are a whopping 36 daily flights! Global will have zero flexibility. Will the passengers who really make the profits - those business passengers up front - be prepared to pay premium prices when all manner of delays might strike their flight? I hope Global succeeds, but I fear it may end up as yet another graveyard start-up.

I found the OP's idea so strange, I just had to do some digging. June 7, 2023 was when the OP made his first post in this forum. He - I assume it's a he - said: Can someone please help me how much should i pay the go go boys on my visit? A friend of mine who go to thailand last april told him that he was wrong for giving the go go boy too much and also, he was asked by the bar fine much higher compare to others. I really dont have my idea since its my first time visiting thailand. I really appreciate if someone will guide me. My generous interpretation, if the idea was actually serious, is that it's a temporary flight of fancy that sometimes happens to folks on their first trip to Bangkok. Newbies have been known to be mesmerised by the city's offerings, yet dissatisfied because the scene doesn't completely live up to their fantasies. So as soon as the trip is over (or even before) plans are made to out-do the bars that exist. In this case, we can see from this member's post on June 14 (topic: Celebrity encounter) that the fantasy is that of buying the services of celebrities. Do you have any experience hiring famous model or celebrity in Bangkok? I mean i dont mind paying 10-20k baht just to have one night with them. Naturally, the necessary caution should be to not imagine that there are enough of others with similar tastes (or pockets) to make a market for a business. Jaded old-timers here have seen many a foreigner lose money by the bucketloads setting up bars and businesses to feed their personal fantasy rather than based on a hard-headed business plan. Please don't be the next one.

I find it hard to believe that the OP is serious. There are so many legal issues involved, it shouldn't even take any research to be skeptical about its viability. Consequently, and I don't mean to offend, my first reaction was that it was just meant to get a rise out of other readers. I am intrigued by this. I hope your contact is not some out-of-work mamasan who dreams of making it big on your money.

Kissing is not a requirement for me, so I have never ever asked any boy in advance if that's what he will do, but occasionally, in the heat of the moment while in the room this may seem the natural progression of the one-hour romance. My limited experience is that more often than not I get a response, "I no kit." While others may have different "survey results", and it will be nice to hear what their experiences are, from my experience, I think the majority will not want to do it. You may need to lower your expectations. There was a time when I put the no-kissing stance to the fact that the majority of the boys working in gogo bars are straight but I am not so sure anymore. Firstly, how straight can they be if they can get hard as easily as they do? Secondly, I have a feeling the issue is strongly cultural and kissing is seen in a very different light in Thai culture, which therefore means that even the gay boys would attach similar cultural significance (whatever that may be) to kissing.

  8. From CNN The pandemic almost killed it and its production endedsooner than anticipated in 2021, but the A380 simply refuses to die. With more and more superjumbos soaring back into the skies amid a post-pandemic resurgence in commercial aviation, the aircraft is back in the spotlight as one new airline is built around it. Global Airlines, a British startup that aims to offer transatlantic flights starting next year, has acquired a 16-year-old A380 as the inaugural aircraft of an all-A380 fleet — at least initially — and is in the process of refurbishing the plane to its own specifications. It’s a rare used-market move for an aircraft that passengers adore but that airlines have struggled to turn profitable due to its operating and maintenance cost, as well as its huge size. “It’s a fantastic aircraft when you use it in the right way and on the right routes,” says Global Airlines CEO James Asquith. “We will be looking to invest significant amounts on refurbishing the A380 we already have and the future ones that we’re looking to bring into the fleet.” Asquith previously founded Holiday Swap, a home-swapping travel platform which is also Global’s parent company, and he holds the Guinness world record for the youngest person to visit every country in the world. “I’ve flown on about 280 different airlines and sat there seeing what’s good, what doesn’t work and what can be improved,” he says. “We’ve structured this in a way that financially allows us to do a lot of the exciting things that no new airline that isn’t government-funded has been able to do in the last 40 years.” Continues at https://edition.cnn.com/travel/a380-global-airlines/index.html ============ Best airlines for 2023 The World’s Top Airlines of 2023, according to Skytrax 1. 9. I seem to recall that whenever a poster quoted from another post, the poster's name was always attached to the start of the quote. It now seems that quotes no longer have the original's name. This can make it extremely difficult to work out to which post a reply refers - in fact it sometimes means having to read through a host of posts trying to find out the source of the comment being replied to. Please, please can quotes from earlier posts go back to including the names of the earlier posters!

Don’t hold your breath. You mentioned the individual’s given name aware this his place of business had been established in the thread. Then you speculated about his sexuality. You can’t weasel out by blaming others, “Leroy.” You don’t see a problem making a sexual innuendo about a named and known person in this a public forum? I don’t believe it. Do you believe this should be a sounding board that wholly disregards respect for individual privacy?

  13. From The Thaiger Bangkok’s historic Hua Lamphong railway station, with its Italian Neo-Renaissance-style architecture, is gearing up to host prominent events while continuing to provide suburban commuting and tourism train services. This comes on the heels of extensive renovations that have transformed the 107 year old station to accommodate both roles effectively. Ekkarat Si-arayanphong, head of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) governor’s office, highlighted that SRT governor Nirut Maneephan has been actively involved in the preservation and maintenance of Hua Lamphong, also known as Krung Thep station. The aim is to turn the railway station into a venue for major events. In the past, Hua Lamphong hosted events like ‘Hua Lamphong in Your Eyes and Unfolding Bangkok,’ attracting over 30,000 visitors daily, consisting of both Thai citizens and foreign tourists. SRT is now looking to collaborate with more public and private organisations interested in utilising Hua Lamphong’s space for events that will enhance the station’s value. Ekkarat revealed plans for Hua Lamphong to further develop as a location for organising significant international events. Additionally, seven more antique trains that played essential roles in Thailand’s rail transport history will soon go on display at Platform No 4, a part of the designated exhibition area, with further exhibitions to be added later, reported Bangkok Post.

Leroy82, I’ll take you at your word that you’d be flattered that someone said you’d make a great fuck. But would you also be flattered when they gave your given name and identity where you worked and in what city? Because that’s the information you provided to the world about this young man. Essentially, you’re outing another person on a public forum.

I doubt and and do strongly that such reviews would had much benefits unless made by somebody we know very well. They may be made in good faith but any review would be tinted by reviewer personal prejudices. Good and bad. Boy will not kiss me because my bad breath, what I will report ? Not that I smelled but that he refused to keep his promise to kiss. You forget that you moved money from shorts to safe and you report boy stolen 3000 from your shorts. There are people who are serial complainers and nothing will make them happy and others who cherish very fact being on vacation and will praise everything. Sometimes for fun I read review of hotels I was staying on the last trip , often I wonder if that was the same place, for good and for bad. so no, unless I know reviewer personally I pay very little attention to what they say qualifying something. But yes , I'll trust all 31 members I already met.

  19. QR gets high marks because their business class "suites" product is quite good. But other airlines are certainly catching up in that department. I think people also like DOH airport as well. Their lounges there are pretty spectacular. Skytrax isn't exactly known for objectivity so there's probably a decent amount of cash changing hands. I like ANA a lot too. Will be even better when they finish replacing their older seats with a better product. Their business class is fine except for the complete lack of storage which I make it a point to complain about every time I fly with them. 🙂

  20. The aircraft was designed to handle 19,000 take-off/landing cycles. That is estimated to be around 25 years. Since Singapore Airlines received the first of the aircraft in 2007, in theory it should take that hull up to 2032 and beyond for later models. But many aircraft exceed their design capacity. Most airlines who flew the MD11 successor to the ill-fated DC10 ceased doing so by 2005. Yet more than 100 are still flown today by cargo carriers like Fedex. With so many A380s now coming back into service, I'd have thought that servicing for Global Airlines will be farmed out. No idea about avaiability of parts. If the airlines intend to keep the plane flying for serveral years, I wonder if Airbus would open up a factory to cover new parts to avoid bastardising older models.

  21. gladly share, total 10 when leaving hotel room they are stuffed according to the following formula : shirt upper left 2000 shirt upper right 1500 shorts left side from bottom to top ( 3 pockets) all 50's, 1000, all 20"s and coins shorts right side from bottom to top ( 3pockets ) 1000, 1000, 7 times 100 shorts 2 back pockets - one on the left 500 note , one on the right 500 in 100 baht notes. If may sound stupid or too meticulous but it works great. First since it's total of 8200 I can spent or be robbed of more, second , if I pat any pocket and don't see / feel what is supposed to be there I immediately think where that 1000 baht went? Oh yes , it was that dinner at Unesco and massage fee at Thai Relax but wait it was total 800 where's 200 ? (change goes to the same pocket ) Of, it was charger from Silom market and 2 beers at 7/11 I always admire struggle a lot of people have in dark bar when pulling wallet and trying to pull 100 or 500 from there trying to distinguish which is which ( during daytime is easy but in dark they look the same ) while I know where look for that 500 (shirt pocket right or short back pocket left) or 100 ( top short pocket on the right or back short also on the right )

  22. that's primary purpose they try to keep in touch, to have avenue if they need some cash. Not necessarily scamming you , those are mostly poor boys with constant requests from family to send money but if you not careful it may become tiring and draining quite fast. Nothing wrong with helping from time to time if you feel like , you may actually feel better too for helping. but be prepared for upsets too like you send money to help with that doctor bill and few days later you will see post in social media with pictures of your boy having good time in some shiny and expensive resort. I hate being cynical but it happens and did happen to me, fortunately not in cases when I actually sent anything. But I haste to add, when boy says he likes you it not necessarily means he lies. It's the same like with us , we like some boys more than other and it's usually because personality , not size of dick. So yes they may like YOU and your money, just don't allow being exploited.

I mentioned his name only after it had already been mentioned by someone else previously in this same thread. I did not speculate on his sexuality, I said I think he would be a good fuck as that is the impression I get (and hope). You may find my language crude and that is ok. By the way, said individual tags his social media posts with #gayboy #gaybar and many others including his work place for ‘the world’ to see…….so I’m not trying to weasel anything “reader” Maybe take a chill pill and get off your moral high horse.

I'm one of those 'others' and while by far not everybody agrees to kissing, most of them I asked said they will. Quite a few hunks, particularly from Tawan instead answering actually planted kiss on me as an answer. Of course quality of kisses differs and some are visibly unskilled but overall my experience in kissing department is quite satisfactory.

  32. I’ve only once had sex in the toilets of jomtien complex. This real sexy guy was between the bars and massage shops. He took me to a large toilet that locked, somewhere behind cocktail bar. I’m not sure it’s there now, or they may have split it in two and now a key is required to get in. It was great sex and the guy was a pro. He really appreciated the 1,000 baht tip I gave him. i certainly wouldn’t have sex in a toilet that wasn’t totally private. Like in Sunnee , they had a makeshift room in the back of a bar. And I loved Good Boys and all they had to offer. i really miss the spontaneous sex that it provided. When I used the toilet behind the first bar on the left going in to the complex, two young twinks came running out of it giggling. But I never witnessed any sex in any areas around there. oh yeah, I was hanging out where they gamble real late and had oral with a guy in the shadows in an alley way, but hat was because the short time room was closed .

    The longest day

The summer and winter solstices have played a major part in Chinese society for millennia. Prior to the advent of the Q'ing Dynasty, the summer solstice was always marked by a public holiday and many celebrations. In Hong Kong it remains a Festival Day and the annual Dragon Boat races take place on this day. Many buildings including Beijing's Temple of Heaven were built to celebrate the winter solstice which is virtually the second most important Festival after Chinese New Year. In Hong Kong all businesses close at lunchtime to give employees time to get home to prepare the traditional winter solstice meal. As one who is a lapsed Christian, I always think this is a more important reason for celebration than December 25!

    The 13

I think there can be no doubt this man was a hero - very much an unsung hero in the amazing rescue of the boys and their coach. He basically had to command a very motley army ranging from the best experts in the world to the villagers who donated their rice paddies for drainage of the water from the cave. How sad that he should have died so relatively young! I hope all will remember his words taken from the speech he made when accepting on behalf of the entire team of rescuers the Asia Game Changer Award from the Asia Society in New York - “I wish the entire incident would inspire everyone to start living for others. This small change could be a game changer for the world.” May he rest in peace.

    Hotels

Will quickly add that the hotels will NOT have any issue with your guest for the week (Colombian or otherwise) if registered with a valid cédula civil. What they are concerned about is using the premises for multiple sexual encounters which indicates prostitution which carries penalties for the property. Have posted about this before. So most hotels and buildings want to colour within the lines in Medellín and avoid issues with police -- like an inspection of guest visitor logs which hotels keep by law. My suggestion (for all travellers to Medellín) is to treat your security guard (vigilante) with great respect -- offer them a coffee, an empanda, hell, buy them lunch if you are getting food -- and most of them will look out for you and not report what you are up to with guests. Most Paisas are fine with gay visitors but don't piss them off and you should be just fine.

  39. Day 6 While day was hot , night was quite agreeable and since my room is facing east I managed to sleep without air condition, feast I repeated all 3 nights there. I like cold but don’t like cold draft and no day is better to say that than today, day I’m putting this report together as thanks to draft at work directly over my head I waked up at 4 am tonight with heavy cough and sneezing and whole day today, Jun 18 I feel like it’s my last, only slight exaggeration. Fortunately now is easing up a bit and I hope that if will go away as suddenly as it arrived. There was no consolation to talk to my friend in Germany on her birthday today as few days ago she was in the same situation thanks to AC in Malta . As you can imagine our conversation was consisting mainly coughs. Age has own privileges I guess. Back to Furama Bukit, I slept till 7 am without any interruption which means day 6 was my first without jet lag trace. It used to be 3 days now we are at 5. Breakfast in hotel at 35 RM, about 270 baht, not bad value. What made me distinguished was fact that I was only farang in full restaurant. I made bit of sociological observation, to my right and left were families of 4,mom , dad and 2 teenagers, one looked Chinese other Indian although not necessarily they were from those countries. What made me notice was how tables were looking after they left. One was fairly neat , another one was exponential mess. Sometimes we wonder why some countries are marching ahead faster than others and I thought bit of answer was right there. Of course it was one go so I’d not make much of that but still eye poking contrast it was. I made stroll around Bukit Bintang in daylight, then heat got to me so returned to hotel to freshen up and them went by combination of monorel ( how monorail is called there ) and metro to pride of Malaysia - Petronas Towers. I was awed right away, what an impressive structures !!!. Doesn’t matter their place on the list of tallest ones, 3 , 7 or 11 or whatever. In esthetics it beats them all in my not so humble opinion. My friend warned me that ticket to the top are restricted and indeed they were , specially that today was Sunday and on Monday viewing is closed. At 2 pm only 16 tickets were left for the day – they have excellent system showing what’s available All for last two lifts , at 8.30 and 8.45. So it will be KL by night. Guy at register was not blind thanks God and before I asked told me I qualify for senior discount of 60RM instead full price about twice of that. Old is gold ! There was no line up but when I was leaving 5 minutes later , ticket for 8.30 pm in the pocket , it was only 1 available for the last lift. I guess internet sales cleaned the rest. Lined my friend so we had dinner together in Bukit district. Tab reminded me we are in Muslim majority country and while food was tasty and cheap , Tiger beer was tasty and expensive. We agreed to try massages after my Petronas foray and parted ways for afternoon. I did some local sightseeing , decided to take hop-on hop off bus for full circle tomorrow. Found stop nr 1 close to Bulkit Bintang monorel station and did some walk here and there, just to taste Malaysia bit more. At dark I decided to go to towers and it was wise as they let us about 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. If during day towers look impressive and night they become just fairly tale, I should say fucking fairly tale but today is Sunday so I wont swear on holy day. First step was that bridge mid way. Because towers are swaying is not fixed but hold on some rails facilitating movement. Then 86 floor, really impressive and not for faint hearted I guess. There were some people who were reluctant to come close to the windows and I don’t blame them. I have fear of heights too but learned in my mountaineering years how to deal with that. It’s bit simple, at first don’t look into chasm, whatever it is , look straight ahead . Lined my friend from the top I’m coming down and we mat in Bukit Bintang again, had some drinks and went to look for massage. There are several shops , mostly mixed on the one street so it makes comparison shopping easy. Of course some ladies of the night tried to get business but we professed to be shy or married and after full tour of street went to shop my friend recommended. Massage was good but guy was dressed although not shy enough so I managed to tough his rigid thing through the jeans but that was about it . No extras were offered and no wonder as all they had was just curtains as dividers. Then I decided on pedicure since my feet are always disaster , whole thing lasted 2 hrs and I was charged 215 RM. Not being sure I should tip but went on side of caution and generosity and gave boy 100 RM extra. Of course it was no comparison to Bangkok other than price , 315 RM is about 2400 baht but I was happy to see other , more secretive side of KL. It was pleasure to finally have normal night of sleep again.

  41. Day 5 We both set our phone alarms for 6 am. After shower I left luggage downstarirs , took whatever I’m taking with me and we marched to Foodland for breakfast greeted by knowing smiles, ahem. Then S went home and I took BTS and MRT to bang Sue and from there red electric train to Don Muang. Easy check in and after 135 minutes flight I landed in Kuala Lumpur. We are in 21 century so first thing to do was to buy Malaysian SIM card, immigration was breeze and on my way to the train I Lined my local friend I’m already there and he told me where and when we will meet. Airport is quite a distance from city and train costs 55 RM which is about 400 baht but is impressive , modern and very fast. In ½ hr. I was at Central station called KL Sentral , visited friendly tourist office to get free map and direction how to get to monorail station as my hotel, Furama Bukit was near Imbi station. Great location , very close to tourist area of Bukit Bintang , 5 minutes to Imbi station and adjacent to KL newest mall built on the site of former prison of which gate is still standing. Kuala Lumpur is very modern city , very impressive but not walker friendly as it’s bisected by numerous highways and multilane streets. Fortunately public transit is fast and efficient although it takes time to get acquainted with as is provided by no less then 4 different operators, situation similar to Bangkok. Ticket price also depends of distance. After settling in my room on 17th floor I went to meet my friend. We had lunch in the mall , went to the roof where it was some sort of fair and then we made grand tour of Bukit Bintang district , tourist central of KL. There’s street with zillion of restaurants crossing one with several massage shops and where I spotted quite a few handsome masseurs . There were even ladies of the night plying their trade quite openly and one offered me her services not once but twice as we passed by her two times.. Malaysia is on different time zone then Thailand, 1 hr. ahead and is getting dark only at 7 p.m. Soon after dark I decided to go back to hotel as early rising this morning started being felt so we parted ways with my friend agreeing to meet again tomorrow.

  42. part of my bravery was that he is veteran so I saw and tipped him many times although never offed. I don't mind them watching straight porn as I usually watch them , not their screens agree, it's why it's good to have an internal limit and stick to it , doesn't matter how hot guy is, specially if untested, no shortage of guys willing to do LT for 3000, perhaps even less. On another hand many guys who are screaming murder at such prices are spending much more when bar fees and rounds of drinks there are counted ie. our drink, boy' drink, mamasan drink is already, say 1500. not to mention rounds of tips. But fun is precious. to cover wider audience in some bars I employ strategy of telling boy I will be offing him today but have other (s) sitting and drinking with me , that way more guys are avoiding unemployment

  43. Day 4 In the morning still no water but basic desoiling by reception and breakfast at Foodland, where else? Upon return to hotel I was informed that they opened empty room on my floor and I can take shower there which I gladly did. In meantime they fixed what was broken and soon after I heard water coming. Then I went to XOne to buy some ringgit as tomorrow I’m heading to Kuala Lumpur then decided to try newly opened Coffee Grinder beside Tawan. Cute and enthusiastic waiters, boss himself present as well, we talked a bit and when I learned he reads forum I revealed my identity and posted my impression right away. I’m not big on coffee but they also serve very good tea and churros are yummy indeed. At 2 I was supposed to have massage with T, hero of my Dec 2021 trip at Sabaidee in soi Pluk Chit so went there. I arranged it directly with T over Line but he mixed things up. When I called him at 2.30 he professed he thought it was supposed to be tomorrow but promised to rush and indeed arrived around 3. Sabaidee moved few units further but boss told me move is temporary and when old premises will be renovated he is planning to move back. One of boys present was veteran of Soi Twlight and I recall him as top in XBoys fuck shows. Still in business after all those years but obviously taking good care of his well developed , muscular body. Massage was good but I was under impression T acquired some weight and our meeting somehow lacked spark we had before. I could be actually me, subconsciously unhappy with him being late. My original question when I enquired was “ are you working at the Sabaidee today” so no idea where tomorrow could came from. Then it was afternoon so I felt hungry and went to Madrid Tavern for my filling of pizza and Chang. I went by BTS s to Saphan Taksin , from where it’s no more than 10 minutes walk along busy and colorful Charoen Krung. Returned to Silom by bus and packed for tomorrow. I will be leaving most of my stuff in hotel as I’m returning there and prepared only what I deem necessary for just 3 days. It’s day 4 but I’m still jet lagged and at 6 pm collapsed on the bed for sound 5 hrs sleep waking up only at 10.55. Despite being that late I decided to give myself a chance and went to Hot Male go-go hoping well tested S will be available. He was indeed, told him to dress up and I watched second part of the show distributing few red notes here and there. S was hungry so we went to Foodland to feed him , I got some caramel custard and tea and then off we went home. Best and most enthusiastic off this trip so far. We met few times already so each of us knew what to expect and he was plain great.

  45. Day 3 In meantime N, the masseur, is carpet bombing me with messages of how much he misses me, how great I am (like I don’t already know), dispensing advices to sleep plenty and eat well etc. I know it’s well intentioned but annoying too. My mother was not even 1/10 that overbearing. I like him and want to see him again so I feel entrapped. On my way to Foodland I met him is Silom, promised him another sleepover tonight. Today is my tourist day, I went to Nakhon Pathom to see Great Stupa I saw from distance when going to train market in February. With trains moved to Bang Sue Grand Station it’s a bit of travel. -BTS to Mor Chit, then 2 stops by MRT to station itself . Station is clearly oversized for traffic it handles and since my train was long distance it was some celebration. Passengers lined up in vast waiting area and we were admitted to a platform in orderly queue only 20 minutes before departure but for 20 baht fare I can suffer plenty. Right after train started rolling so did numerous food vendors offering food and drinks and as I noticed doing quite a brisk trade. In about 1 hr I was there. No problem finding stupa as it is 200 m from station at other end of wide street connecting those two. Admission for foreigners was 60 baht. It is of impressive size and worth detour. On platform there’s big poster showing other attraction of the city certainly proud of being home of Thailand’s biggest stupa. After sightseeing I walked through the market and acquired 2 pair of shorts with multiple pockets ( 6 at front and 2 in the back ) I so like at 400 baht a piece. Returned by commuter train to Thonburi station, for some reason fare was not 20 but whopping 40 baht. From there walked to the river and took the Chao Praya Express boat to Saphan Taksin pier. Jet lag is still tormenting me but barely alive I went to G’Bangkok in soi 4 for their Thursday schnitzel special at 199 as always warmly greeted by the owner and both Banana barkers across. No doubt their enthusiasm is generated by my good looks and heart , not the 100 baht I occasionally, but not every time, no, no, slip into their undies just to train my Vinapu tuck motions. But one of them is veteran of soi Twilight and another one object of my quiet adoration, lol. From there , invigorated by warm welcome and good food I went to Hot Male beer bar to have a beer there and chat with Aung, funny Myanmarese twink and then to Tawan where me, newest ATM model, was enthusiastically welcomed with hugs, lowered briefs and palms outstretched but today I had them disappointed for shortage of red notes. Even one of their performers sitting outside gave me heartily hug saying ‘ welcome back Mr. KFC. I like that “Mister ‘ part as it boosted my ego exponentially. Tips or not , always fun there. It was still early but Mas, the twink did not waste time and offered massage upstairs. Generally not a good idea after just having a dinner but I like him and his massage is pretty skilled so I agreed and soon we were climbing stairs. Fee is 900 , not necessarily cheap for very average facilities but as I said I have weak spot for masseur so why not ? 1.5 hr nice session I can repeat every day although it crossed my mind it would be cheaper just to off him to hotel for 500 instead of paying their somewhat extortionate fee. By time we finished show started so additional bonus when going down was to see preparation and one of their guy was getting hard to a straight porn movie , I couldn’t resist and wrapped red note around his impressive, ready for presentation , endowment. He did not resist either, lol. Bar was packed and they had me sitting just by the back door but soon somebody left and I was offered better space. I noticed few new faces , both bodybuilders and some twinky types and one very proportionally built hunk , not exactly teenager with ass to die for so spoiled few newbies with tips as I miraculously found 500 baht in 100 notes in one of my 8 pockets. Remember that hunk as we will meet him toward end of trip. So as always despite not so subtle tip pressure, that being my own fault I agree, I had , as always , tons of fun in Tawan. Returned to hotel and was waiting for N to show up for promised overnight. Shortly I could welcome him in front of hotel but in the room we discovered nasty surprise – no water in the washroom. Fortunately he had shower before arrived and I had at Tawan after massage . Big bottle in refrigerator was enough to refresh our teeth and we went to bed but activities for drought reason were somewhat restricted. Nobody’s fault and still nice exercise. Night guard promised things will be taken care in the morning and soothingly informed me that in case we need toilet , one by reception is fully functional

  46. Wednesday night at Jupiter and longtime singer Poppy is back singing. He doesn't sing every night at Jupiter nowadays. Only certain nights. I was at Jupiter with some fellow members after dinner together. We got a sofa seat at the back. Quiet night. Only 14 guys working tonight - fellow member actually meticulously counted them! In terms of customers, only half full compared to Monday night. Many ladies. There was in fact one group of ladies on 2nd floor looking down like fangirls and they remained there until the show ended. VIP table near the stairs was reserved for 2 very well dressed ladies. Midway during the show, they asked mamasan to arrange some guys to stand in a semicircle for them to choose. Poor ordinary male customers would only be able to choose them during the 3rd model walk when they finally wear number tags on their jeans. During the 1st and 2nd model walks, they were in briefs and shorts but no number tags so it was quite difficult to call them down to your seat unless you have mamasan next to you and you tell him. Cambodian handsome hunk whom I took back on Monday was not working today. But I spotted a Laos guy who worked at Banana last December and whom I met. So surprised that he's working at Jupiter now. Happy that he climbed the ladder. I wanted to get reacquainted with him. Unfortunately, another customer had arranged to off him in advance. I told mamasan that we would not be offing any guy tonight but I asked mamasan if it was possible to send over some guys to our table who could drink and he helpfully found some from those who had not been offed. We played card game where the loser had to drink half a shot of whisky. Some guys barely lasted a few shots while some guys could really drink and lasted all the way till we eventually ended at half past midnight.

    Screwboys

Screwboys is back! However, guys are in basketball singlets and shorts. I rather see them in their previously infamous white briefs with blue stripes. I went in at midnight last night. About 15 guys on stage with the rest seated with customers. Party atmosphere with some of the guys dancing to the loud music. Saw a smooth charming twink but I hesitated and he ended up being called over to two German customers who sat next to me. We had some small talk and toasted drinks but inside me, I was cursing myself for not being quicker. Show started at 12.45pm. Lots of ladyboy performances. Only 2 big cock shows and these were not done by Screwboys guys but by freelancers. They came into the bar before their performances, paraded their cocks, earned their tips and quickly moved off. Show ended at 1.30am and lo and behold, German customers paid up and left. I had expected them to take the twink off. I asked him over to my seat and five minutes later, we were in my hotel room. From Laos. Hardworking fella. After our session, he went to his next job which is at a karaoke bar. He says he only gets back to his room at 7am. Maybe I will ask him to bring me to his karaoke bar one of these nights. Drinks at 350 baht and off fee 500 baht. I tipped mamasan 100 baht and paid Laos twink 2000 baht for short time session.

  49. Vistied the Relax Men Video Club and Isicus Cali Baños Turcos sauna on the first Wednesday of January. Both establishments are located close to each other. Relax Men Video Club is a cursing bar with a number of dark areas and private both. Found the place to be clean and a nice place to relax, especially in the patio are on the upper level. When I visited in the afternoon, there were around 15 customers and two rent boys. Had full service with one of the guys in a private room - 100 MIL COL for a 30-minute service including kissing, oral and anal sex. He was a really good-looking local guy and an excellent bottom. With negotiated I'm sure he would have been available for a lower price, but I was more than happy with the price offered. https://www.instagram.com/relaxmen01/?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/uv?pb=!1s0x8e30a66c5aaaaaab%3A0xf7ca750379bf928a!3m1!7e115!4shttps%3A%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipNtL0CF6grgWzqvY6JCJS5q53w6aoFvKssV3Mjz%3Dw172-h174-n-k-no!5sgay%20bars%20in%20cali%20colombia%20-%20Google%20Search!15sCgIgAQ&imagekey=!1e10!2sAF1QipNtL0CF6grgWzqvY6JCJS5q53w6aoFvKssV3Mjz&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjSg_f8nrv8AhUOjqQKHc6oBAAQ7ZgBKAV6BAgZEAc Later in the afternoon I popped into Phisicus Cali Baños Turcos sauna as it's located around the same block. https://www.facebook.com/banos.turcos.12/ There were around 40 in the buff customers as it was the venue's weekly naturist day. The sauna has great facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam room and several play areas. Sex between client was rampant at times. There was one active rent boy with a huge dick available for 100 MIL COL and two good looking massagist offering services. Price ranged for 100 for message only, ranging up to 250 MIL COL for a full sex service. Went with one of the massagist as he was very good looking. There was some pretence at a message for 5 mins before it turned into a full sex session lasting 30 mins. Later on, I was approached by the clearing boy, a 20-year-old Cali lad, asked if I wanted to have sex with him for 100 MIL COL. Unfortunately, I was completely spent at this time so was unable to take him up on his offer. Thought he was the best-looking guy I had seen in both venues. Relax Men Video Club and Phisicus Cali Baños Turcos sauna venues are connected by one room on the higher floor of the building. There are prison style cage bars in the room to stop anyone transferring between the two venues, however perfectly designed for customers to have sex thought the iron bars. Lots of guys were engaging in this area throughout the afternoon.
