Day 12 Very pleasant night but lacking fireworks and excessive sweat. This is what happened when both boy and I know each other well from multiple offs in the past. Novelty value is rubbing off a bit but on another hand there’s confidence that all will go well and no nasty surprises like 4 am request ‘ can I go home now, my motorsai parked wrong place ?”. Leisurely morning but we made it for breakfast. And I ate plenty to make up for hasty breakfast yesterday. Since check out time is 11 I packed my goodies, checked out , took tuk-tuk to my next dig , Le Siam on Convent one of my holy quadruple of hotels in Siam area I like to stay, Raya, Baan Silom and Furama Sathorn being other three. Room was already available which was good news as I could Line ST whose butt so impressed me yesterday in Tawan to show up at 2. Our agreement made earlier was I let him know when. That was whole hell of short time I must say. Not only he did his best to make sure I’m happy but also told me a lot about his life and passions and let me tell you , those were not boring stories. How stories by the naked hunk can even get boring?. No way this could be only short time so I suggested an extension of time , he suggested extension of tip and thus it was longest short time I ever had at 6 hrs. No way that after such time two men won’t get hungry and he suggested shabu at MBK. Not being fan of Japanese food I did not even know what shabu is but decided to try. Modestly he suggested we go by BTS. It was all you can eat for 499 and certainly food they had was great for bodybuilder , all lean meat no fattening pastas etc. For me it was tastier than expected although as I say, not my type of food. Certainly at home the same would cost me 3 times more. Walking back to the station he spotted sales in sport store eyeing some brand name exercise shorts reduced 70%. In my eyes even reduced price was twice too much (520 ) but what do I know? So I said yes but you should try first. So we crowded into one booth for measurement and short moment of innocent fun. I gave him money there so he could pay himself , just a bit face saving exercise. What surprised me was how happy he was . Casually throwing 100 or 200 we forget that for a lot of those guys 500 is princely sum, specially to be spent on non-essentials like that so we returned to Silom both happy, he with his acquisition and me seeing him happy. Today is religious holiday so no alcohol sales. Having a bit of time I made tour of the area to see if bars are opened as theoretically they could as long as no alcohol was offered but it looked all bars decided to close , my guess was to avoid pesky boys in brown with palms outstretched. In soi 4 only Adam massage and G’Bangkok were opened , everything else was in dark. Very few diners at G'Bangkok though. The same in Patpong , all closed , Moonlight the same and so was Tawan but Dum who is also motorsai driver was on his post on the corner so I gave him 100 baht to buy himself some meal. I was timing myself as my post-birthday festivities were not completed. I made sure at 10pm I’m in my room as I was expecting Y and indeed at 10 on the dot my phone chimed, it was Line message “I’m downstairs “ so I went to pick him up . But he was bit hungry so gave him 100 to buy something-on Convent there’s always some street food available. Soon after he showed up with some dish, gave me even change from that 100 and up we went for another super session today. Two guys today , both trying their best to make sure I’m happy. It did not come cheap but I like money well spent better than cheap price tags and that was a case on that fabulous holiday day.

Day 13 None of us was in rush but we went for breakfast downstairs (not included in rate, 240 but quite opulent ) and after that we returned to the room for some more intimacies. I don’t recall whose idea that was but not even necessarily mine. I was happy with him, he was happy with tip. We actually had some homework to do too as after tattoo application yesterday some of his skin peeled off leaving a lot of black ( from ink) skin confetti. But we did good job. At 11 kissed Y good bye , packed , checked out and at noon Christian PFC arrived with taxi driver he arranged and we went to Pattaya. I always thought taking taxi there is excessive spending but recently become keen on it. Yes it cost about 6 times more (1200 ) than taking bus (130+ BTS+ARL ) would but saves half time, like 2 hrs. When vacation time is short every hour counts. Bonus was we had more time to chat , even stopped at some roadside restaurant for quite tasty and cheap lunch (255 for three , drinks included). In Pattaya they dropped me at Classrooms hotel. Along with Zing Resort and Copa my favorite in Pattaya. I tend to alternate my Pattaya stays between Jomtien and Boyztown. I extolled virtues of Classrooms before but I repeat , I like their spacious rooms and very discreet side entry bypassing not only reception but also bar downstairs. That’s hotel where both boy’s and girl’s lovers feel at home and won’t bother each other. Then went for a stroll along Beach Road only to get my heart bleeding because Alt Heidelberg, my favorite restaurant was gutted undergoing extensive renovation and I don’t have any hope it will be back in business. To get my fix of schnitzel I went to Das Berliner instead but while tasty , it’s not the same there. After dinner walk was to Walking Street which is back in business but now quite diversified. A lot of stores selling this or that, plenty restaurants and girl clubs here and there. It sadly looks that converting Pattaya to family destination already started , step by step, store by store. By 2117 process should be completed I guess and then punters will be left with soi 6 and TreeTown bars. After I did tourist part , at 8 pm I parked myself at Castro with an eye for BBB, That’s my routine in Boyztown, always first evening that ritual. After a while, Lek, the mamasan spotted me and greeted with smile so I went to shake hands. He remembered I like Handsome Cambodian (HC) and surprised me telling me he is there. After I offed him in Feb I never heard from him , neither few of my friends who know him as well. We were wondering what happened to him and I was happy to see he is back. Indeed , several minutes later he appeared on their porch but he did not notice me so for now I left things as they are. About time for show to start I went inside and was surprised to find bar completely full. Full was also stage and it was very disappointing as all boys were completely dressed, t-shirt and jeans, no numbers and only 3 bare chested . I proudly noticed that all three are boys I offed in the past , in fact Art and HC quite a few times. All in all there were 6 familiar faces and they all recognized me smiling , HC being last one. He was as surprised as I was hour ago and when I motioned he joined me immediately. We have a bit of history , good and bad but if I have weak spot for anybody it’s him. Sometimes I need it , like today when he gulped 3 rounds of beer (boy drink is 350, mine 400 ) without even asking me if I’m Ok with that. Of course I will be offing him but when came to paying bill I was surprised twice, first I was charged for 5 drinks but we consumed 4, second off fee turned out whopping 1000 baht , the same like models at Moonlight. That’s excessive greed. I refused to pay for that extra drink so they reduced bill by 350, gnashed my teeth and paid the rest. I should mention show but it was more or less the same like always with BBoys being stars, they even dragged one girl from audience to funny number of simulated sex. She was performing admirably , lucky girl with all those hunks. A lot of screaming and noise but this is when there are so many girls in audience. After show we went to the room , actually our first off was to the same hotel. Then he wanted me to go separately , now he did not mind to walk along. How times changed I reflected. I was happy, was he too? I guess so. Deep in the night there was that endearing moment when he really become very clingy and cuddled to me like finally he realized that if I like him , he should at least skillfully pretend he does like me as well. It was quite nice and I must say romantic.

I’ve only once had sex in the toilets of jomtien complex. This real sexy guy was between the bars and massage shops. He took me to a large toilet that locked, somewhere behind cocktail bar. I’m not sure it’s there now, or they may have split it in two and now a key is required to get in. It was great sex and the guy was a pro. He really appreciated the 1,000 baht tip I gave him. i certainly wouldn’t have sex in a toilet that wasn’t totally private. Like in Sunnee , they had a makeshift room in the back of a bar. And I loved Good Boys and all they had to offer. i really miss the spontaneous sex that it provided. When I used the toilet behind the first bar on the left going in to the complex, two young twinks came running out of it giggling. But I never witnessed any sex in any areas around there. oh yeah, I was hanging out where they gamble real late and had oral with a guy in the shadows in an alley way, but hat was because the short time room was closed .

Day 11 I must be turning lesbian, men loving lesbian but still lesbian because I start liking my boy less nights. Slept very well till 8 and did not rush for breakfast, only to run in panic as they close at 10 and I made it at 9.55. Still managed to feed myself well. Then went to top floor to marvel at Bangkok from moving platform. Nice breeze there. While Mahanakhon is more exciting due to glass, for view I think I like Bayioke better as it’s more central. After that I’m taking it easy because today it’s my birthday so I made myself busy thanking all well wishers on Line, e-mail and What’s Up. I quite liked that lazy , no pressure day. But at 2 I decided not to waste day completely and went to Saphan Kwai with intention to make survey of massage shops there. By the station there are at least 3 : G’Beat, KMan and 15M but my survey today was along Suthisan Rd. Coming from BTS there is One Spa across gas station and on the same side of street 27 M. On opposite side there are BT HOUSE, KK SPA and Home Spa. Home Spa is just before highway crosses street if you are taking bus. So I stopped at Home , 1hr 500 baht min tip 1000, only two boys available immediately so I opted for one I recognized face from their Line feed. Fees are less than half of one needs to pay at Jey. But twink lover would do better than me who is rather into hunks. Boy was working hard but there was no spark from my side for that reason so I was glad when 1 hr was over and likely so was boy although we had some fun but it was more routine. I think it was my fault so don’t get me wrong. Being there I decided to try one more, stopped at BT house but they were all boked with no room available according to guy on reception, He gave me aprox. waiting time of ½ hr. so I decided to go somewhere else and stopped at One. Again only two boys available , both hunks . One of them volunteered to explain process in quite good English so I opted for him. That was good idea. Good massage, my type of guy and quite a conversationalist, at around 40 min. he expressed wish to marry me and go with me to my country. That was fast! But before we settled on pre-nuptials 1 hr passed and session was over but fun it was. Cost and tip the same like at Home but I gave him 200 extra for lawyer drawing those pre-nuptials. I enjoyed it there. Upon return to hotel Guardian Angel steered me to alight at Phaya Thai and take 1 stop of ARL from there. It’s short walk to hotel from the station but I found the gem on main street, just past railway crossing. Ordinary Thai restaurant , with half tables in the open and half behind the door. I opted for that section because AC and ordered my customary chicken with cashews. Probably second best I had with only Oasis on Suriwong when they were there doing it even better. Old truth that restaurant ambiance has nothing to do with quality of food it serves was mightily confirmed. Quite an unexpected treat for my birthday. I went to hotel to freshen up and pick up some money deciding today Tawan will be my bar of choice. Hunks and most friendly bar, what else I may want. Taxi handily unloaded somebody in front of hotel and agreed to take me to Silom, it was about 80 baht, the same I paid for motorsai yesterday. Alighting I got message from anddy that he is dining at Gbangkok so went there to shake hands – I was full after that fabulous chicken but anddy generously offered me birthday drink so I stopped there for longer chat with him and restaurant owner. Then I went to Tawan as always greeted enthusiastically. Good hour before show bar was already filed . I was not only farang . in pure view I had had another one sitting with one of their boys and both were quite progressive in their behavior. Unfortunately later on farang left leaving some tip in guys’ hands so no off. Not being just anybody there had benefits as quite fast they organized some table space so I had no less than 4 guys sitting with me including one veteran, surprisingly clingy today, Mas my favorite twink there and new acquisition ST, very handsome, also not exactly teenager, with butt of gold. He told me he is there only few weeks and his brother used to work there. Turned out I know that brother very well in his days and even nominated him to be best boy of my Dec 2015 trip. Getting his Line proved great acquisition. One guy was missing from the crowd, multiple offed K , all because of fairness. Right in the beginning I told him I’m offing him tonight as my birthday boy so I thought fair that other boys will get their drinks and tips. I was in the mood so not only my companions and all 3 performers but also ‘special ‘ show participants and j/o show competitors got theirs not to mention 1 or 2 for newly acquired twinks. Spending like drunken sailor at least I remained sober , chiefly because of pleasure of caressing gently and secretly that butt of gold. After show I jumped on K’s new shiny motorcycle , no doubt fruit of all those ‘ no customers tonight’ nights and we went to Happy Beer Garden where his cousin is waitressing while being only person in whole world allowed to call me ‘ my daddy”. At least return to hotel was free and we could start celebrating birthday in style, K and I. Only disappointment this year was that hotel did not present me birthday cake like they did last year. I wonder if that was change of policy or result of opting for cheaper room where such treats don’t apply

Day 10 Y wanted to go home so I went or rather should say flew on cloud 7 to World Famous for a breakfast. What I was thinking I don’t know or rather know, how great last night was , at least to me. Then went to ATM to withdrew some money and returned to hotel with a loot. By the way, machine refused to spit out 25000 , message came that maximum number of banknotes to be withdrawn is 25. So I assumed ATM run out of 1000 notes, as it refused 24000 either. I settled on 20000 and indeed in the pack there were few 500”s In hotel I wanted to do some calculations , reached for the phone and it was not there. Since I did not use it in the bank it must be Foodland so I kind of sprinted there. I, opposite to almost everybody else, can travel without the phone although those days it almost become impossible , I don’t bank on it but losing contacts, specially Line ones would be nasty. So I hoped it will be there. On approach I already knew it is as one of waitresses seeing me motioned . They made me sign in some notebook I received it . I left 200 tip and started to celebrate reunion. It pays to be known there and seat usually at the same table so they must have notice right away. Today I’m changing hotels and moving to Bayioke Sky. Every trip I like to treat myself with something bit better for 2-3 nights just to know how better half is spending their vacations. I get there in Bangkok style i.e. by tuk-tuk, chiefly because this time I’m travelling with bit bigger luggage for simply reason- it was included in price so I thought, why not ? Most weight were 6 books I took with me hoping to read them but it turned out I managed to finish only 3. Biggest suitcase allowed me to stock up on coffee and certain soaps I always buy in Thailand. Thing I like about Bayioke is that view is guaranteed as lowest floor is 19th and guests have free access to viewing platform on the top. Hotel is not teenager exactly and is bit worn off but rooms are big and bathroom was for sure at least of the same size like my whole room in Ibis Styles where I stay in Feb. so no claustrophobic feeling at all. Room was not ready , their check in and check out hours are bit different , check-out by 11, check in from 2, typical for hotels with plenty of organized tours. So I left luggage , Lined Jey Spa if they can bring Maii2 for 2.30. As always response was almost immediate. I still had some time so wandered through the area which is not exactly shiny in comparison to Silom or Sukhumvit but certainly lively and safe. Then had nice walk to Nana Station , from there BTS to Phrom Phong and walk to soi 43 to arrive just on time as receptionist told me my boy just arrived too. We met twice in Jan and he remembered me greeting me with prolonged hug. After great night, great day too. Very enjoyable session . Did not come cheap, 1250 for VIP room for 1.50hr, minimum tip 1800 but I upped to 2200 just to let Maii know I was happy. Jey Spa continues to shine, first Noom , now Maii certainly worth the time to get there and expense. As a bonus Maii dropped me at BTS station but because it was rush hour I made sure I behaved as passenger without any questionable moves. In hotel room was waiting for me , this time on 58 floor only , probably 10 floors down compare to last year at the same time and it was normal window, not panoramic glass but that’s the price for picking up cheaper option. In the evening dinner with anddy in G’Bangkok . Motorsai for 80 baht . At restaurant I utilized their Tursday schnitzel special again. Hugs with both barkers at Banana, I have hots for one of them , I think I mentioned it already, but I’m too shy to approach him for more than hug and vinapu tuck . Slowly, slowly but surely, there’s still future. Then we decided to check on HotMale but after 11 a lots of guys were already taken including all I’d consider. This deflated me a bit and after making rounds through the area I decided to return home empty handed to my eternal shame. Me sleeping alone in Thailand ? Shot me on the spot ! Not that I did not have option as masseur N is bombarding me with questions when we meet again and I don’t think he is helping his case. Sweet boy but not feeling me way Y, S or both Jay Spa masseurs do. Last message rung at 2 am so I advised him to go to bed and applied that advice to myself as well for few moments regretting my phone this morning was not lost for good.

I found the OP's idea so strange, I just had to do some digging. June 7, 2023 was when the OP made his first post in this forum. My generous interpretation, if the idea was actually serious, is that it's a temporary flight of fancy that sometimes happens to folks on their first trip to Bangkok. Newbies have been known to be mesmerised by the city's offerings, yet dissatisfied because the scene doesn't completely live up to their fantasies. So as soon as the trip is over (or even before) plans are made to out-do the bars that exist. In this case, we can see from this member's post on June 14 (topic: Celebrity encounter) that the fantasy is that of buying the services of celebrities. Do you have any experience hiring famous model or celebrity in Bangkok? I mean i dont mind paying 10-20k baht just to have one night with them. Naturally, the necessary caution should be to not imagine that there are enough of others with similar tastes (or pockets) to make a market for a business. Jaded old-timers here have seen many a foreigner lose money by the bucketloads setting up bars and businesses to feed their personal fantasy rather than based on a hard-headed business plan. Please don't be the next one.

I think there can be no doubt this man was a hero - very much an unsung hero in the amazing rescue of the boys and their coach. He basically had to command a very motley army ranging from the best experts in the world to the villagers who donated their rice paddies for drainage of the water from the cave. How sad that he should have died so relatively young! I hope all will remember his words taken from the speech he made when accepting on behalf of the entire team of rescuers the Asia Game Changer Award from the Asia Society in New York - “I wish the entire incident would inspire everyone to start living for others. This small change could be a game changer for the world.” May he rest in peace.

I find it hard to believe that the OP is serious. There are so many legal issues involved, it shouldn't even take any research to be skeptical about its viability. Consequently, and I don't mean to offend, my first reaction was that it was just meant to get a rise out of other readers. I am intrigued by this. I hope your contact is not some out-of-work mamasan who dreams of making it big on your money.

I did but as I said I chalk it off to experience and rarely reduce tip if agreed in advance. On another hand next time I see boy and he is trying to get an off I'm not shy to tell him why not or if yes( I believe in 2nd chances) I still tell them what I did not like last time- usually such bluntness bring substantial improvement if not outright works miracles.

Is that really such severe problem ? How many times per trip you have situation when you boy does the least possible ? 0.07 ? My problems seem to be more time than performance, I don't like if they want head home too soon.

@Deszz24 My reading of your posts tells me that your primary objective is to visit a Gogo bar, maybe see a performance and take a lad off. Because you just wrote "bar" in your posts, and even mentioned the thought of going as early as 5pm, you are getting replies that are unrelated to gogo bars. Regulars here on this forum can deduce what kind of bar is being referred to in the replies (e.g. from references to Soi 4, beer bar, etc), but I don't know if you can. Assuming that my reading of your primary intention is correct, there really is just one way to go about it, time-wise and action-wise. Gogo bars open a little after 9pm. There are hardly any customers until about 9:30 or 9:45pm. The shows usually start around 10:30 and finish around 11:15 or 11:30pm. Customer numbers peak during the show and melt away quite quickly after 11:30pm. As a newbie, it may be best to time yourself to the busy period between 10 and 11:30. Otherwise, half the boys and all four mamasans will be targetting you. As Vinapu said, "it's not such great idea to come early as you may be accosted more often for lack of other victims while at show time bar is usually full and mamasans are busy dispensing drinks etc. " Don't try to control or expect to control what the boy will or will not do in the room. Go with the flow, and understand that like everybody, they have their limits. Or they may say yes to something but do not deliver. It is a gamble. Even experienced members in this forum have disappointments. We should pay what we agreed even if we're disappointed and not try to insist on a discount. It's the risk we take. What we do instead is to pay more than agreed if we are happy with the service. And something not mentioned so far: Bring plenty of small change when visitng gogo bars. Best would be to pay the bar tab with the exact amount and not with large bills.

Day 9 N sleeps in his shop. Because of that, 3 days a week he is cleaning it before opening and after closing which I consider very fair. That was reason he could come only at 1 but I did not mind, we still had good , largely sleepless night. Left at 6 to take care about the shop so I returned to warmed bed to get some sleep. At 9 marched to Foodland, heart bleeding becauseby 5 minutes I missed time when breakfast is whopping 10 baht cheaper, then to XOne to exchange money and to Silom market in soi 10 to buy charger as I left mine in hotel in Kuala Lumpur, one of senior moments I guess because I’m not exactly known for leaving my stuff behind. Silom market as market go is very modest affair but yet in my every hour of need , be it charger , coat hangers, baseball hat, undies, t-shirt , pen , day pack , you name it ,I go there and find what I need , usually for very little. I spotted one of Jupiter mamasans manning one of the stands. In hotel no water again but power was so I made a coffee and then took BTS to Madrid for lunch with Christian PFC. Always interesting chat over tasty pizza, we have our ritual and share whatever we ordered half / half with each other. We walked back , I was mindful that I have to meet P from Hot Male at 3 to check stamp collection so made sure I’m there , in still empty soi on time. No sight of him , nor even answer to my Lines so at 3.30 I left empty handed. Reader reported that he will be drinking coffee at Coffee Grinder at 5 if I want to join so I used that occasion to complain, his answer was very reasonable P obviously is not in a need of money. Good for P thought I. Just before 5 I got message from him “ sorry I slept in”. Too late obviously as I had other designs this afternoon. Reader and I exchanged news while tasting their coffee and first and foremost admiring their cheerful and handsome staff. I even get bonus when boys were readying to leave at they close at 6 one of them changed shirt to reveal torso worth 2750 baht short time in process. This trip I decided firmly to return to old butterflying days, did not work exactly as intended with few repats anyways but at least I tried and liked it. Today I scheduled last bar I did not visit yet- Dreamboys so around 9 went there. Several boys on the stage already , among them Fai, very good masseur I know from Arena so called him for drink, shortly his brother Dit arrived to wing me from other side. But I was in no mood to hire from there. What I saw was discouraging. Out of 3 rotation about 12 each so total 30-40 guys I’d remotely consider 3 and only # 11 looked truly attractive earning red not as I departed. A lot of veterans of soi Twilight which says something. Ggobkk who visited few day earlier had exactly the same impression but on another hand Jason 1975 who went there few days after me completely disagreed. So either I had bad luck or he had good one or there’s fundamental difference in taste. As I said somewhere else and tend to repeat constantly - go and check for yourself , my throwaway may be your treasure and other way around. Tipped both brothers 200 for their time and old times sake and decided to have another try at Moonlight I visited last week. With all bars covered time for 2nd round. I was hoping to see Y , who impressed me on my last night in Feb and yes , he was on the stage. No time was wasted to bring him over for a drink and before his was delivered , night’s fate was sealed. A, the hunk spotted me as well so I invited him for drink too , if only to tell him that I did not like last week when he abandoned me from another customer. This time he did not go anywhere until his drink was finished . So I used that to try to wrestle him a bit which we always do , he always wins but my ego is still boosted because I manage to resist for a bit. He made suggestion we repeat Feb feast with Y and him together but I said that for me it’s twice expense for half fun so he gave up trying. In models parade I noticed few new faces, Jack who appeared very nervous last week seems settled now but for now Mean seem to be my #1. I also noticed I’m warming up to Babe, perhaps because now he is not one to close parade as he always did , now he is one of many. I did not see Nut last time neither during parade today but at one point he showed up, came to say hallo, admitted casually he is late and way he was dressed made me suspect that he must be in good hands now. Very formal and elegant at the same time so I’m happy for him he found his girl or man, whoever. Another one not present was Nicky, neither last week nor today but time I was in love with him is long gone. I’m glad they are trying to refresh their models stable as old faces and bodies , while still attractive are becoming bit stale so new blood is needed. On another hand I must admit original set was of really outstanding quality, real hunky hunks while never crew is somewhat mixed which is not necessarily wrong as not everybody likes that type. At one point I start getting itchy so tipped A and marched with Y to hotel by the way of Unesco Heritage. Y turned endearingly modest when comes to food as Foodland was his idea and he chosen some ordinary dish like pad Thai. Not that modest when came to LT tip but absolutely and positively did his best to earn it. One of those few precious who feel immediately what and when customer wants. By far best night of this trip. I was so excited and happy that I almost pay dearly for all that fun but that’s the story for next installment .

I can understand that. Fellow Canadians can disagree with me, but I feel we have an aversion to seeing romantic intimate moments between couples in public, including kissing (ie more than just lips touching briefly). So much so that somebody sucking dick would cause less discomfort that a couple sucking each others tongues.

I decided for my next trip , whenever it will be, to change routine and try to stay in one, max. two hotels and see how it works for me. Call it scientific investigation

How does it even pave the way for Trump to get pardoned when he is found guilty, too? Whatever people think about whatever "deal" Hunter should have gotten for owning a gun while being a drug addict and cheating on his taxes, Republicans are now on record as being against political "deals." State-owned Myanmar Foreign Trade Bank (MFTB) and Myanma Investment and Commercial Bank (MICB), were also hit with sanctions. The Treasury said they allowed revenue-generating state-owned enterprises, including Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE), access to international markets. The banks receive and transmit foreign currencies for Myanmar’s government. “ Burma’s military regime has leveraged state-run access to international markets to import weapons and materiel, including from sanctioned Russian entities, to continue its violence and oppression,” the Treasury’s Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Brian Nelson, said in the statement. no , sometimes scammers are very skilled. We think we are smart until we meet our match. I know first hand as almost fell victim. It was supposed call from my internet company. Since at the same time I had some problems with access and also with telephone, it seemed legitimate. My brain was turned on only at the last second when they asked me to 'repeat your credit card number" , first , why repeat if I did not give you number in first place ? Second , why they need it as repairs are normally added to regular monthly bill ? So I just hanged out but they were brave enough to call me back few minutes later. By that time I put myself together so just hanged out again without the word and reported all to both governemnt fraud site and to Internet company. To this day I'm sure it was internal job of people who got information of what is going on with my case in real as it all sounded very normal. They just outsmarted themselves by using that ' repeat' word.

You are building too much science around bar visit , I'm afraid, killing your fun in process. Just go and do it. Things solve itself. I almost never buy second drink for myself and nobody ever threw me out from bar because of that. Yes, they will pass and ask if you want another one but NO is well understood. After all that's w the waiters job to make sure you are watered. Will quickly add that the hotels will NOT have any issue with your guest for the week (Colombian or otherwise) if registered with a valid cédula civil. What they are concerned about is using the premises for multiple sexual encounters which indicates prostitution which carries penalties for the property. Have posted about this before. So most hotels and buildings want to colour within the lines in Medellín and avoid issues with police -- like an inspection of guest visitor logs which hotels keep by law. My suggestion (for all travellers to Medellín) is to treat your security guard (vigilante) with great respect -- offer them a coffee, an empanda, hell, buy them lunch if you are getting food -- and most of them will look out for you and not report what you are up to with guests. The problem about airing this problem on any chatroom site is that you are going to get a wide variety of opinions. Which should you consider appropriate to your situation? It's impossible to say. Further, we know almost nothing about you apart from the fact that you mention you are living in Singapore. Are you Singaporean or an expat enjoying a bigger apartment and a better salary that most salaried Singaporeans? For my twopenny worth, it's too easy to fall in love - or to develop a strong attraction for a bar boy - on first meeting, no matter the number of nights you spend together. Put simply, I'd say that's infatuation. It's not love. With respect to you and your feelings, you need to spend 2 or 3 more visits and a lot more time with him before you can really understand what your true feelings are for him. It also helps to find out who his good friends are here. What other posters have said is perfectly true. More than one boy has been known to "love" several farang at the same time and to have each send money for his room or his family. Please also remember that Myanmar is presently in the middle of a ghastly army crackdown with many murdered and no end in sight. China is probably the eminence gris in this scenario. The last thing it wants is problems on its borders. So it feeds cash to the Myanmar army to enable it to purchase weapons - and so on and so forth. That will not end any time soon, in my view. You must also think what might happen in the future if you find your feelings for him are indeed love. Are you happy for him to continue to be based in Bangkok with all the temptations open to bar boys here? Or will he return to what I assume will be poverty in Myanmar. Would you consider asking him to move with you to Singapore - or wherever you are because Singapore is actally 1,800 kms from Bangkok but you mention 3,000 kms which is more like Jakarta? If you'd like him to move back with you, how do you get him a visa to stay more than a very short time? Can he get a work visa? Does he have any work skills that will be welcome where you live - now and in the future? If the answer is no, how do you see the relationship developing? You move to Bangkok? Any shortlist of where the bigger buff guys are located, and provide service in the massage place itself, in the more concentrated zone mentioned above? Are the more bodybuilder types rather concentrated in a single place or district, or are they scattered here and there to round out the range of types within each spa? Just Tawan club and use that as the source of hires? Do they cross over to day hours at what appears to be a massage place of the same name beside the club? That said, skill of therapeutic massage not a priority for me. And my cash budget is ample. I was tempted to reply to steveboy's very many queries and concerns on here, but I didn't have to, as you guys have already done this, and more eloquently than I ever could. I love it when people reply to the report. I like reading about people's reactions to my activities, and I am very interested to know what parts of my holidays resonate with the members the most. I use feedback, any feedback, to motivate me to continue posting. The last thing I want is to silence any perceived criticism on the thread. I believe it is part of what makes this community great. We are all different, and I encourage differing opinions than mine on my reports. That's how we grow, is knowing about other people's experiences. BUT, It can get pretty draining for someone like me who likes posting trip reports, to have to read and respond to a lot of what steveboy has lobbed in my direction. It's not even the judgmental nature of his comments that bothered me, its more the speculation on my life (i.e. he only thinks about sex), character (i.e. he is not a contributor to society), and motivations (i.e. I am desperate for sex) that was very troublesome. My BF has been tempted to reply on my behalf at times, as any devoted BF would when his beloved is attacked this way. I'm glad he didn't, because such aspersions don't deserve a response. I told him that its just the internet, and its just one guy getting carried away. I hope this thread can continue on with a healthy participation from the members. I have learned so much about Thailand just by scanning through all the rich knowledge that has been written on here over the years. Writing these trip reports is my way of repaying those people who have come before me, and who have paved the way to me enjoying the country. Day 1.5: Jupiter Ascending Part IV: Soi 4 Edition I have talked extensively about Jupiter here, here and here. And from the reaction of the people in this thread, I’d say we are firmly divided in our impressions of Jupiter. I’ve always liked Jupiter, but I did let some of the negative reviews others had about the place affect me and I stayed away from the bar for a long time. I went back last December and had a fairly satisfying encounter with a boy that has lived in my head for months after that. So samebb, The Lion, and I take the few steps from Telephone and head over to Jupiter. I notice that Jupiter had some seating outside that can be purposed as an outdoor bar. The fee, with one drink, was 250 baht, which was cheaper than most that was offered in Twilight or Tawan, or even what the old Jupiter offered. Perhaps introductory pricing? samebb paid for my cover, I guess since I paid for the drinks just earlier. We get ushered in by a waiter, who was good-looking himself and could pass for a Jupiter boy. What I saw inside was promising. At 9:15 PM there were only a smattering of customers already in there, with some working boys sitting beside them. We had our choice of seats, so I choose a bench that was on the right side of the stage. The bench was comfortable seating for 4, so samebb, The Lion and I can sit comfortably. We order our drinks, and take in the ambiance. So the main stage was built like a model runway. There was the main stage in the center, and it was bigger than most main stages I’ve seen. From the center there was a narrow-ish runway extending to the seating further back and almost extended to 2/3s of the length of the bar. The stage itself had stairs leading to second floor where boys can pose in the stage side, and some seating in the audience-side, much like the old Jupiter was. The lighting was great and flattering. Just the right amount onstage to make the boys standout, and dimmer but not too dark lighting in the audience, so we don't trip over things. The music was pretty good. They weren’t playing the usual infernal Thai dance music that you would normally hear in alleyways and locals-only venue. They actually played more western dance music much like DJ Station did. This bar was a breath of fresh air. But perhaps, the main difference were the boys. Almost a third of the boys were recognizable from old Jupiter. Mehkin and MuscleBoy were there, as well as some other old Jupiter boys, some really hot, some average, who made the transition. But there were a lot of newcomers who either were new when I was in old Jupiter last Songkran, or just new altogether. And the difference was they weren’t wearing the same underwear outfit the gogo bars usually ask them to wear. Some of them were wearing underwear, some of them were wearing skimpy shorts, some of them were wearing jeans only, and some of them were wearing full clothing. Now some sex-tourists would find this off-putting. Why would one go to a gogo bar with fully-clothed guys? I actually think this is a great idea. There was something for everyone. If one wanted a boy in skimpy underwear, there were some who fit the bill. If one were finding a boy-next-door type, there was a lot of that who were wearing full clothes. If someone wanted someone sexy and smoldering shirtless and in tight jeans, there was one there for you. I feel that the variety in dress and demeanor made the boys stand out on their own, and made them more memorable to the customers. They had their own individual styles, and this definitely adds another level to their attractiveness. And really, there has to be something said about leaving something to the imagination. So I begin looking for the three boys. I scan the bar for them. I see the first one. He was tall, fair skinned, trendy hair that was brushed forward, and he looked like a Korean K-pop star. Let’s call him Korean. Korean was shirtless and wearing really tight jeans. Korean was sitting with a customer towards the back. I felt deflated, thinking that I lost my chance with Korean tonight, as he was with a customer drinking. I turn my attention back to the stage. There were some boys on the floor. And then samebb gets my attention and tells me, pointing to the stage “There he is.” Indeed he was there, the first Myanmar boy. He had a handsome young face, skin a healthy light tan, and very strong legs. He was wearing a medium length sleeveless white t-shirt, but was wearing only underwear and shoes. Another unique set of clothing that was memorable. Let’s call him MonBoy. I recognize him from the video samebb sent me weeks earlier. I didn’t need any encouragement. I had to have him before anyone else got to him. I raise my hand to signal to him to come to us. He acknowledges and walks the runway to our direction and sits down with us.
