I was walking on Silom past Soi 4 and a guy wearing yellow shirt smiled and asked “massage?” as he offered a menu from Adam. He held the smile and I said “sure.” On the short walk back he inquired “body to body?” My reply was the same. Adam is probably the best located shop in Silom (opposite Pride), yet many folks walk by without even seeing it en route to Circus, Balcony or Jupiter. Even though I was once a regular customer, in recent years I’ve given it a pass in as I discovered the opportunities in Saphan Kwai and other destinations. Today’s massage renewed my connection with the shop where I first met some memorable guys. Originally agreeing to one hour (450), midway through the session I told him I wanted to extend it an additional half hour (200), my first 90-minute one of the trip. It was time and money well spent. The room was on the third floor with massage table and shower down the hall. Water provided on arrival and tea after.

On opposite side there are BT HOUSE, KK SPA and Home Spa. Home Spa is just before highway crosses street if you are taking bus. So I stopped at Home , 1hr 500 baht min tip 1000, only two boys available immediately so I opted for one I recognized face from their Line feed. Fees are less than half of one needs to pay at Jey. But twink lover would do better than me who is rather into hunks. Boy was working hard but there was no spark from my side for that reason so I was glad when 1 hr was over and likely so was boy although we had some fun but it was more routine. I opted for that section because AC and ordered my customary chicken with cashews. Probably second best I had with only Oasis on Suriwong when they were there doing it even better. Old truth that restaurant ambiance has nothing to do with quality of food it serves was mightily confirmed. Quite an unexpected treat for my birthday. I went to hotel to freshen up and pick up some money deciding today Tawan will be my bar of choice. Hunks and most friendly bar, what else I may want. Taxi handily unloaded somebody in front of hotel and agreed to take me to Silom, it was about 80 baht, the same I paid for motorsai yesterday. Alighting I got message from anddy that he is dining at Gbangkok so went there to shake hands – I was full after that fabulous chicken but anddy generously offered me birthday drink so I stopped there for longer chat with him and restaurant owner. Then I went to Tawan as always greeted enthusiastically. Good hour before show bar was already filed . I was not only farang . in pure view I had had another one sitting with one of their boys and both were quite progressive in their behavior. Unfortunately later on farang left leaving some tip in guys’ hands so no off. Not being just anybody there had benefits as quite fast they organized some table space so I had no less than 4 guys sitting with me including one veteran, surprisingly clingy today, Mas my favorite twink there and new acquisition ST, very handsome, also not exactly teenager, with butt of gold. He told me he is there only few weeks and his brother used to work there. Turned out I know that brother very well in his days and even nominated him to be best boy of my Dec 2015 trip. Getting his Line proved great acquisition. One guy was missing from the crowd, multiple offed K , all because of fairness. Right in the beginning I told him I’m offing him tonight as my birthday boy so I thought fair that other boys will get their drinks and tips. I was in the mood so not only my companions and all 3 performers but also ‘special ‘ show participants and j/o show competitors got theirs not to mention 1 or 2 for newly acquired twinks. Spending like drunken sailor at least I remained sober , chiefly because of pleasure of caressing gently and secretly that butt of gold. After show I jumped on K’s new shiny motorcycle , no doubt fruit of all those ‘ no customers tonight’ nights and we went to Happy Beer Garden where his cousin is waitressing while being only person in whole world allowed to call me ‘ my daddy”. At least return to hotel was free and we could start celebrating birthday in style, K and I. Only disappointment this year was that hotel did not present me birthday cake like they did last year. I wonder if that was change of policy or result of opting for cheaper room where such treats don’t apply

@Deszz24 My reading of your posts tells me that your primary objective is to visit a Gogo bar, maybe see a performance and take a lad off. Because you just wrote "bar" in your posts, and even mentioned the thought of going as early as 5pm, you are getting replies that are unrelated to gogo bars. Regulars here on this forum can deduce what kind of bar is being referred to in the replies (e.g. from references to Soi 4, beer bar, etc), but I don't know if you can. Assuming that my reading of your primary intention is correct, there really is just one way to go about it, time-wise and action-wise. Gogo bars open a little after 9pm. There are hardly any customers until about 9:30 or 9:45pm. The shows usually start around 10:30 and finish around 11:15 or 11:30pm. Customer numbers peak during the show and melt away quite quickly after 11:30pm. As a newbie, it may be best to time yourself to the busy period between 10 and 11:30. Otherwise, half the boys and all four mamasans will be targetting you. As Vinapu said, "it's not such great idea to come early as you may be accosted more often for lack of other victims while at show time bar is usually full and mamasans are busy dispensing drinks etc. " Don't try to control or expect to control what the boy will or will not do in the room. Go with the flow, and understand that like everybody, they have their limits. Or they may say yes to something but do not deliver. It is a gamble. Even experienced members in this forum have disappointments. We should pay what we agreed even if we're disappointed and not try to insist on a discount. It's the risk we take. What we do instead is to pay more than agreed if we are happy with the service. And something not mentioned so far: Bring plenty of small change when visitng gogo bars. Best would be to pay the bar tab with the exact amount and not with large bills.

How one can pass by boy bar without being inclined to go in is beyond me , I thought only aspiring lesbians would pass such an opportunity. First, while some mamasans are pushy by far pushy ones are not majority and even those pushy are not going to wrestle or rape you. I wish I'd be in such a position, sigh. at 4 or 5 in the evening bars are still closed with exception of Hot male Beer bar w visiting which is not a bad idea for people in your position as boys there are very friendly and THERE'S NO MAMASAN. bars are usually opening between 8-9 and rarely are in full swing before 9.30. Actually i think for shy types it's not such great idea to come early as you may be accosted more often for lack of other victims while at show time bar is usually full and mamasans are busy dispensing drinks etc. I found Thais pretty straightforward and those working in bars hear it all many times but good form would be to offer drink, be it bar boy , waiter or mamasan if you have hots for them . Most of staff will be on offer although waiters and mamasans most likely only after bar will close . While sitting with you just ask they if they go with you 'are you going with me?" , if they say yes ask them about what is important to you , top, bottom , kiss etc. Don't try to be too sophisticated because English is their 2nd or perhaps 4th language so your question should be straightforward. Kissing question is somewhat important as some boys do everything but won't kiss for some reason so you don't want to for force yourself on them. I ask kissing question after agreement to go is made so they know it's not condition for an off. If you have boy sitting with you and you decide not to off him for whatever reason make sure : 1/ not to keep him too long as he may lose other opportunities 2/ tip him for his time 100-200 depending of length of time. Day 10 Y wanted to go home so I went or rather should say flew on cloud 7 to World Famous for a breakfast. What I was thinking I don’t know or rather know, how great last night was , at least to me. Then went to ATM to withdrew some money and returned to hotel with a loot. By the way, machine refused to spit out 25000 , message came that maximum number of banknotes to be withdrawn is 25. So I assumed ATM run out of 1000 notes, as it refused 24000 either. I settled on 20000 and indeed in the pack there were few 500”s In hotel I wanted to do some calculations , reached for the phone and it was not there. Since I did not use it in the bank it must be Foodland so I kind of sprinted there. I, opposite to almost everybody else, can travel without the phone although those days it almost become impossible , I don’t bank on it but losing contacts, specially Line ones would be nasty. So I hoped it will be there. On approach I already knew it is as one of waitresses seeing me motioned . They made me sign in some notebook I received it . I left 200 tip and started to celebrate reunion. It pays to be known there and seat usually at the same table so they must have notice right away. Today I’m changing hotels and moving to Bayioke Sky. Every trip I like to treat myself with something bit better for 2-3 nights just to know how better half is spending their vacations. I get there in Bangkok style i.e. by tuk-tuk, chiefly because this time I’m travelling with bit bigger luggage for simply reason- it was included in price so I thought, why not ? Most weight were 6 books I took with me hoping to read them but it turned out I managed to finish only 3. Biggest suitcase allowed me to stock up on coffee and certain soaps I always buy in Thailand. Thing I like about Bayioke is that view is guaranteed as lowest floor is 19th and guests have free access to viewing platform on the top. Hotel is not teenager exactly and is bit worn off but rooms are big and bathroom was for sure at least of the same size like my whole room in Ibis Styles where I stay in Feb. so no claustrophobic feeling at all. Room was not ready , their check in and check out hours are bit different , check-out by 11, check in from 2, typical for hotels with plenty of organized tours. So I left luggage , Lined Jey Spa if they can bring Maii2 for 2.30. As always response was almost immediate. I still had some time so wandered through the area which is not exactly shiny in comparison to Silom or Sukhumvit but certainly lively and safe. Then had nice walk to Nana Station , from there BTS to Phrom Phong and walk to soi 43 to arrive just on time as receptionist told me my boy just arrived too. We met twice in Jan and he remembered me greeting me with prolonged hug. After great night, great day too. Very enjoyable session . Did not come cheap, 1250 for VIP room for 1.50hr, minimum tip 1800 but I upped to 2200 just to let Maii know I was happy. Jey Spa continues to shine, first Noom , now Maii certainly worth the time to get there and expense. As a bonus Maii dropped me at BTS station but because it was rush hour I made sure I behaved as passenger without any questionable moves. In hotel room was waiting for me , this time on 58 floor only , probably 10 floors down compare to last year at the same time and it was normal window, not panoramic glass but that’s the price for picking up cheaper option. In the evening dinner with anddy in G’Bangkok . Motorsai for 80 baht . At restaurant I utilized their Tursday schnitzel special again. Hugs with both barkers at Banana, I have hots for one of them , I think I mentioned it already, but I’m too shy to approach him for more than hug and vinapu tuck . Slowly, slowly but surely, there’s still future. Then we decided to check on HotMale but after 11 a lots of guys were already taken including all I’d consider. This deflated me a bit and after making rounds through the area I decided to return home empty handed to my eternal shame. Me sleeping alone in Thailand ? Shot me on the spot ! Not that I did not have option as masseur N is bombarding me with questions when we meet again and I don’t think he is helping his case. Sweet boy but not feeling me way Y, S or both Jay Spa masseurs do. Last message rung at 2 am so I advised him to go to bed and applied that advice to myself as well for few moments regretting my phone this morning was not lost for good.

Visas won't be your problem, assuming you're serious and this isn't your idea of a fun way to get people falling for a hoax. The problem would be work permits, which you definitely can forget about. You know why I don't believe a word you wrote? Because unless you are a total moron, you already would be working with a Thai attorney who absolutely would have made it clear that you're not going to legally hire foreign bar boys. The police would probably shut you down the day you open. What makes you think customers would give a damn about what countries the boys come from? no , sometimes scammers are very skilled. We think we are smart until we meet our match. I know first hand as almost fell victim. It was supposed call from my internet company. Since at the same time I had some problems with access and also with telephone, it seemed legitimate. My brain was turned on only at the last second when they asked me to 'repeat your credit card number" , first , why repeat if I did not give you number in first place ? Second , why they need it as repairs are normally added to regular monthly bill ? So I just hanged out but they were brave enough to call me back few minutes later. By that time I put myself together so just hanged out again without the word and reported all to both governemnt fraud site and to Internet company. To this day I'm sure it was internal job of people who got information of what is going on with my case in real as it all sounded very normal. They just outsmarted themselves by using that ' repeat' word.

On Ipanema beach....drunk as hell on the way to the beach, I had on some little short shorts and didn't even realize when it fell out of my pocket I always carry a fanny pack but this time, just drunk of the sun and caipirinhas, I didnt even realize I had dropped it until it was too later To make matter worse, we had just closed on a home the Tuesday before we flew to RIO Needless to say, I won't be drinking that heavy until after the beach when I have all my bearings around me.... Can you imagine being out of the country with NO cell phone.....the good think is my partner was able to help and I had my laptop for the other stuff but had to come back a day early to make sure I could get the new cell phone ordered Had an amazing time in the sauna the one night that I did get to go... If you have no experience in running a business in hospitality and have no knowledge of local practices and law, well... just buy a barrel and burn your baht because it will be less stress with the same outcome. Your post history indicates you're pretty new to Thailand and don't have much understanding of the economics of the bar scene, is that right? it's fun to dream but it sounds like you're wasting your time. You might want to spend some time in the country and at existing venues to learn how things work before even starting to work on a business plan.

Day 9 N sleeps in his shop. Because of that, 3 days a week he is cleaning it before opening and after closing which I consider very fair. That was reason he could come only at 1 but I did not mind, we still had good , largely sleepless night. Left at 6 to take care about the shop so I returned to warmed bed to get some sleep. At 9 marched to Foodland, heart bleeding becauseby 5 minutes I missed time when breakfast is whopping 10 baht cheaper, then to XOne to exchange money and to Silom market in soi 10 to buy charger as I left mine in hotel in Kuala Lumpur, one of senior moments I guess because I’m not exactly known for leaving my stuff behind. Silom market as market go is very modest affair but yet in my every hour of need , be it charger , coat hangers, baseball hat, undies, t-shirt , pen , day pack , you name it ,I go there and find what I need , usually for very little. I spotted one of Jupiter mamasans manning one of the stands. In hotel no water again but power was so I made a coffee and then took BTS to Madrid for lunch with Christian PFC. Always interesting chat over tasty pizza, we have our ritual and share whatever we ordered half / half with each other. We walked back , I was mindful that I have to meet P from Hot Male at 3 to check stamp collection so made sure I’m there , in still empty soi on time. No sight of him , nor even answer to my Lines so at 3.30 I left empty handed. Reader reported that he will be drinking coffee at Coffee Grinder at 5 if I want to join so I used that occasion to complain, his answer was very reasonable P obviously is not in a need of money. Good for P thought I. Just before 5 I got message from him “ sorry I slept in”. Too late obviously as I had other designs this afternoon. Reader and I exchanged news while tasting their coffee and first and foremost admiring their cheerful and handsome staff. I was hoping to see Y , who impressed me on my last night in Feb and yes , he was on the stage. No time was wasted to bring him over for a drink and before his was delivered , night’s fate was sealed. A, the hunk spotted me as well so I invited him for drink too , if only to tell him that I did not like last week when he abandoned me from another customer. This time he did not go anywhere until his drink was finished . So I used that to try to wrestle him a bit which we always do , he always wins but my ego is still boosted because I manage to resist for a bit. He made suggestion we repeat Feb feast with Y and him together but I said that for me it’s twice expense for half fun so he gave up trying. I was so excited and happy that I almost pay dearly for all that fun but that’s the story for next installment .

INTRODUCTION That was nasty surprise. One evening I felt something between discomfort and light pain. By the morning it was something under my skin which was mildly painful and could be easily felt as it was size of , say 10 baht coin. In the following days it did not grew but mild pain, sometimes just discomfort persisted. Of course in such case we assume the worst and so did I, specially that survived that long without hospitals and treatments. Then there were some obstacles like my workload and my doctor on vacations. Anyways after 4 weeks of kind of terror, more mental than physical though, I got tested. It was Wednesday. On Thursday at precisely 2.14 p.m. phone rung. It was not marketer, it was my doctor. “ Don’t worry , it’s just a cyst and eventually it will be absorbed. Nothing to worry about “ . Thank you doctor, you saved my life again said I. Now, May is my traditional vacation month for two reasons, I’m tired with work and my wallet is packed. But this year for reasons not related to me nor Thailand May vacation were not in the cards. Doctor’s phone changed all that. I said he called at 2.14 p.m. By time I went to bed around 11.30 pm. I had already booked tickets to Bangkok for 6.30pm on Sunday and from there to Kuala Lumpur and back plus all hotels in Bangkok, KL and Pattaya. 72 hours and I was on the road. This was my reward I granted myself on account of good news. I loved it as my best vacations were always on the whim and not planned but with 72 hrs. I was even impressed with myself . Not particularly cheap, in fact my most expensive Thai trip ticket ever and not fast with 2 connections but who cares?. I got clean bill of health and on the road again. What else I may want ? When waked up Sunday morning , day of my departure I noticed very strange thing. Usually in such circumstances I should be dreaming about some naked hunk beside me with my hand on his thing but instead first thing which came to my mind was pizza at Madrid Tavern and schnitzel at Gbangkok. OMG I thought, is that it, am I losing it or what ? In January after Cambodian fiasco I was afraid I may turn lesbian but food lover? Me? It was my first flight through Middle East connection , namely Qatar. I had expectancies based on what I read on the forum and heard from others. I found airline agreeable, service was good although seemed bit disorganized. Food kind of so, so, but would be treat for salt lovers. In short not as great as some claimed and not bad at all. What I loved though was Doha airport and while initially I was not happy with 3 hrs layover , when there I was glad I had so much time for my disposal. I wisely decided to buy SIM card before picking my luggage and it popped out exactly in the moment I approached conveyor. So it was breeze. Checked rates at exchange booths and again wisely did not change money as XOne on Suriwong , it turned out, had bit better rate. ARL to BTS, change at Siam, short walk from Sala Daeng to soi 8 and my day 1 started Day 1 To be sure I will have an access to bed and shower I booked room at Nantra Silom for night before. Bit horror as they initially couldn’t find my reservation but finally they did. Not much changed from last time I was there pre-covid. Breakfast served no more and computers are gone from the lobby. Room was clean , A/C was working and so was shower. Safety deposit box did not but me , always naïve decided to take a chance and left is as is hoping for the best , as it turned out , rightly so. One thing was missing – not even one hanger. But with markets in soi 10 and soi 5 across Silom deficiency easily fixable. It was morning so next step was breakfast in world famous Unesco heritage Foodland Patpong where I was recognized by at least 3 waiters and greeted with smile, shortly boss himself was passing by and wai me as well. Then round of area, I always like scenes and smells of morning market in Patpong 1, went to XOne to exchange money , Silom market to buy, you guessed rightly 5 hangers for 50 baht. ( no, I did not donate them to Nantra, took with me and only left in my last hotel ). Returning to hotel I saw short but very muscular guy in front of one of massage places in soi 6. He noticed my interest and run toward me trying to secure massage but I was sleepy despite this being only noon so promised to see him later . Lets call him N and we will hear about him often in this report. But now I collapsed on the bed exhausted by long trip and jet lag which is tormenting me more and more as I age. I did not sleep on the plane and to add , two ladies sitting in my row were yakking quite loudly for most of the flight. Returned to life around 3pm and yes , went to see N. It was very good decision as massage was excellent, it truly was. Not particularly cheap, 950 for the shop for 1.5 hr and N wanted 2000 for his troubles but I was happy, particularly that he came with idea of overnight with me before I even managed to opened my mouth. From The Thaiger The Royal Thai Police (RTP) issued a warning to pornography lovers to be vigilant after a victim was fleeced of 3 million baht after he browsed an illegal porn website. The RTP yesterday told a gathering press pack that the top five scams in Thailand included counterfeit products and services, fraudulent part-time or freelance jobs, loan scams, call centre scams, and investment scams. The RTP added that a popular new scam is pushing to get into the top five – porn site extortion. The RTP made known that the victim was contacted by the administrator of a porn site he browsed and invited him to add the website as a friend on the LINE application. The admin informed the victim that there was more free adult content available on the LINE account, so the victim agreed to add it. The victim was then invited to perform a series of tasks to access more free explicit content and then lured into applying as a member of a website called the v-verve club. During the tasks, the victim was lured into transferring money to the website. The web admin encouraged the victim to transfer larger amounts assuring him that he would get all of the money back at the end of the game. Eventually, the victim lost 3 million baht to the scam. The RTP added that people should be aware of these scamming websites. The RTP also added that a number of people had fallen victim to a TikTok scam. The scammers contact the victims via phone and invite them to complete a task on the TikTok application to gain rewards. At the start, the scam gang would transfer a reward to the victims after they completed their tasks. Then, they would send access to a fake TikTok application and lure victims into transferring money to them.

As it was early at about 8.30pm, bars were empty and mamasans were flexible. They allowed me to just turn up at bar and no need to buy drink for myself. Just pay off fee. But it was my last night of this trip and feeling generous, I tipped the mamasans. Because the 3 Laos guys haven't met each other for a while now that they are working at different bars, it was awkward for them at first when we had dinner together at Foodland Patpong but once they got warmed up, it was like old times joking and having fun. After dinner, we walked as a group back to hotel, passing by Hotmale beer bar downstairs and I said bye to the staff there and see you again in December for Christmas. In hotel room, we thankfully didn't get any complaints from hotel because of too much noise. This time round, everyone had gotten wiser at poker so no one ended up stripped down to birthday suit. After finishing the soju and winning the money I prepared for them, they left happily. I went with them down to hotel lobby. We went our separate ways. No, my friend. I am on my annual family visit to Argentina. I am back to loving America. Although I am not happy with how they handled the situation, they upgraded me and had a fantastic flight with excellent service. After 24 hours in the airport, I slept like a baby for the entire flight.

Nothing fancy but very comfortable and spacious rooms, full size refrigerator, friendly hosts and night guard, very close to bars yet soi 3 with exception of morning and afternoon rush hours is quiet street. 7/11 across the street, and lively market right around the corner. Room was available so I was able to check in right away and got the room I was sleeping in many times before. For last few trips I become fan of Jey Spa in Sukhumvit soi 43 . I like their selection and fast response time . Guy I wanted based on their Line feed, Ten was not available this week so I settled on Noom whom I saw in Dec 2001 in Sabaidee spa and for whom I got very good feedback from one of our members who was entertained by him few times. On my way there I went to Siam paragon just to stroll through as I can’t recall I was there in the past. I’m not mall person and in Bangkok neighborhood markets like soi 10 or soi 5 plus Silom stores is all I need. Arrived at Jey bit earlier and noticed they have discreet but visible sign now. It’s about 10 minutes walk from either Phrom Phnom or Thonglor BTS stations. Place is bit upscale , fitting it’s neighborhood and VIP rooms are like regular hotels rooms. Sure it cists but they have cheaper options too. 1.5 hr in VIP is 1250 for massage , when one books guy is informed what is his minimum tip rate for desired length of time. I was told 1800 for 1.5 hr. Noom is one of those who look better in flesh than on pics , much better. If not recommendation I’d probably miss him. He turned out great guy and it was very pleasant and rewarding 1.5 hrs . What a hunk, what a body ! I was almost tempted to have another session right away but start feeling sleepy so returned to hotel to collapse one the bed from 4.30 to 8.30. Those jet lags are killing me. One more thing. Grooming matters. While kissing is a huge variable for many of the guys, it's much easier to make happen if you have fresh breath.
