Dutifully journeyed to location to be among first to attend announced Prince reopening. It was not to be. I was at first heartened when I spotted the the Prince logo on outside wall. I ventured forth but was soon greeted by evidence of on-going construction. Exploring further, I located what appears to be a temporary entrance but path within had more construction material. I texted Line website and inquired if new opening date was available. Short time later I received response of Sunday, 18 June. Will follow up because (1) management replied quickly to my question and (2) this is shaping up as a promising location from a brand with a storied Bangkok history.11 points

Wednesday (Day 11) - Wasn't planned but day went similar to Tuesday. Day was spent at Coffee Grinder with fellow forum member from 12pm to 2pm followed by chilling in hotel room. Night was spent at Jupiter as fellow forum member wanted to meet Laos handsome hunk who was working tonight. Unfortunately there was little chemistry so fellow forum member went instead with another Jupiter guy (handsome smooth Thai). Before going to Jupiter, I hung around at Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs. Saw staff receiving message on phone, then change out of uniform to go to Sukumvit to meet customer. Very popular fella. I also bumped into the owners of Coffee Grinder who were with their two French friends visiting Bangkok and showing them around the nightlife. ln addition, I squeezed in a quick pop-in at Banana Bar. Banana Bar has the earliest show among all bars. Show started at 9.30am while most bars would only start their show at 10.30pm. Since I already reported on the shows at Jupiter and Banana Bar, I won't repeat them. But I will share this hilarious quote from bar tender of Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs - "I am very open. I have open friendships and open relationships. Open friendships means we are friends but no sex. Open relationships means we are friends and we have sex."6 points

Any latest report on CM

Adam Apple is open - staffed mainly by tai yai lads from Myanmar - usually around 16 or so lads on show - but due to recent police raids on bars and clubs in CM the lads are wearing shirts and shorts ( previously underwear)- there is a show which consists of cabaret and lads exhibiting their wares. A bottle of Sangsom or 100 Pipers is around 1400 1500 thb with free mixers - small beer around 270 thb. Usually no shortage of volunteers to help finish a bottle and the lads enjoy a good friendly customer. Circle Pub is also open and operates on the same style as Adams Apple. Both venues easy to get to via Grab, Maxim or Bolt or tuk tuk. The night bazaar has 3 main bars - Orion, Connections, Ram which are all in Soi 6. The latter is primarily a cabaret bar whilst Orion and Connections cater to gay clientele. There are a handful of drinking companions at both bars. and extras can be offered. It's low season now so bars have been relatively quiet. The apps - Hornet, Grindr, Blue'd are popular. Classic House massage is well worth a visit and the management also.provides tour guide services - Woody is your man. So many eating possibilities in CM as well as coffee shops. Nothing better than a visit to the lake at Huay Taeng Tao with a couple of lads , sitting on a bamboo platform eating fried fish and drinking Leo. Or better still an overnighter on a houseboat with company on Mae Gnat Dam.4 points -

Clubs outside of Pointe 202 and 117
Primeone385 and 2 others reacted to HiThereAll for a topic
There is also a porn theatre just to the left of Sexy Rose. Mostly older guys, so keep your expectations low, but when it's hot the theatre is super hot. There is some pay for pay at the theatre, often around 20 RS, but quality varies. I have been to both places noon-1700 hrs ish before 117 or 202. Sexy Rose gets many guys mid 20s-40s, but none seem to be pay for play. There is another porn theatre near centro, but I have not been there in years. As for cruising bars, there is supposed to be a good one in centro, but you might have to try a net search to find it. Meio Mundo gets bad reviews from punters I met at 117 or 202 a few months ago. The gay bars and clubs of Ipanema late night party fame seem to be no more. I posted on a club on the Aproador side of Copa previously, but it was mostly for drinking and dancing, not pay for play. Same is true for the clubs at the Leme end of Copa. You might try various phone apps like grindr or scruff; might be others. Hunqz (?spelling), planet romeo, garotos.com, etc for website shopping. I seemed to do ok on grindr, including for free sex with younger guys, and yes, some guys who tried to hustle me as well. I do speak some PT which helps. I am no model, but not an eye sore either, and sometimes get great non paid sex with average younger guys. Of course, for the hunky guys, it's pay for play at 117 or 202. Given the several love motel murders in the past year, safety is an issue. I have used the one in Copa towards the Fort end. There is another in Cinelandia that I have not used. About 100 RS, I think for an hour or so. That said, I have done grindr hook ups at the other person's place multiple times. Mind you, no drugs and I am not drinking at the time either. I carry my own water and usually leave soon after we are done.3 points -

Why No-One Should Be Surprised About His Fall!
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to PeterRS for a topic
"He cares for nothing but his own fame and gratification . . . There is room for debate on whether he is a rogue or a scoundrel, but not much about his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth. Dignity still matters in public office, and he will never have it. Yet his graver vice is cowardice, reflected in a willingness to tell any audience whatever he thinks most likely to please, heedless of its contradiction an hour later. He would not recognise the truth, whether about his private or politcal life, if confronted by it in an identity parade." No, those words are not part of the historic, utterly damning, "punishingly brutal" Report published today by a UK Parliamentary Committee into the character of and the lies told to Parliament by its former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. Worse, it has been infuriated by Johnson's attacks on the integrity of the Committee members and their finding that it increased his punishment. That Report, according to the BBC website, is basically about the fundamental pillars upon which public life - and society at large - is constructed. Conduct. Behaviour. Believability. Integrity. The Sanctity of Truth. The Contempt for Lies." Yet why has the Report and the content of my second paragraph come as such a surprise to the people of the United Kingdom over recent years? Why has it taken so long for them to waken up to the moral degeneracy of this man who four years ago was elected Prime Minister with his Party achieving a massive parliamentary majority? For if they had taken seriously the words written in my first paragraph, this buffoon would never have reached anywhere near high office, he would never have persuaded a majority that his sudden change of tune in promoting Brexit when beforehand he had been against it had been anything other than self-serving self-promotion without any heed whatever for the consequences, that he was in essence a coward, a cheat and a liar, Britain would not be in the mess it now finds itself in. For let's be honest, a quality his peers very obviously found lacking in Boris Johnson. The words in my first paragraph were penned by his former employer before Johnson got near 10 Downing Street, before his Party set aside their concerns about the bankruptcy of his moral character and handed him the highest office in the land. Max Hastings, a former editor of the right-wing Daily Telegraph, wrote them in a Guardian article on 24 June 2019. Johnson was elected Prime Minister by his Party just a month later. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-65913299 https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jun/24/boris-johnson-prime-minister-tory-party-britain No, he's not dead - at least not yet. But as a member of parliament and as a Prime Minister, this liar's obituary is already being written.2 points -
Just about every member who has visited Bangkok has probably walked by it and never took notice. Tonight I went there for pizza for the fourth time and Alley’s Italian restaurant seems to get better each time. Located in the alley directly opposite Moonlight, it first came to my attention in a member’s trip report over a year ago, but I can’t recall his handle. But I agree with all he wrote about this place. My favorite: the large veggie (335 bht) that comfortably feeds two hungry diners. Matched with a few big bottles of Chang, you’ll think your back in the original Madrid.2 points

Actor Glenda Jackson Has Died
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to PeterRS for a topic
She was one of a generation of great British actors like Vanessa Redgrave, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Maggie Smith and Dame Joan Plowright. Like many of those who are now better known, she started her career doing odd jobs and taking small parts in theatres around Britain. It was when she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1964 that she had some of her greatest stage successes, starting with Peter Brook's production of Marat/Sade, in what several critics claimed "changed British theatre forever." She came to attention of much larger audiences with her performance in the Ken Russell movie of D. H. Lawrence's Women in Love, a role for which she won the first of her two Best Actress Oscars. I particularly remember her in John Schlesinger's 1971 Sunday Bloody Sunday in which she played the girlfriend of a bisexual young man played by actor Murray Head. His full-on kiss in that movie with the doctor played by the hithertoo seemingly aggressively heterosexual actor Peter Finch shocked many. In 1992 she gave up acting to become a member of the British parliament. A strong socialist she seemed to have found her niche and remained in parliament for 23 years. She emerged from her Westminster duties triumphantly to return to the stage to play the role of Shakespeare's King Lear at the age of 82. It is believed by most that she was offered the honour of becoming a Dame but turned it down. It would not have fitted her strong socialist principles. The great actor died aged 87.2 points -

The point I was making, although I realise you didn't quote me directly, was if I boy didn't kiss me, I would question why. Even if the connection is financial on his part, and being horny on yours, there has to be a mutual "lust" for both parties. Then again, some old dudes like a starfish who won't do anything. The lesson is if a boy isn't interested to a point he wont give you a kiss, he is sitting next to you for a boy drink and a tip. He is rubbing your leg because he was told to do that...... This is almost universal in my experience. Take him home and it will be disappointing.2 points -

Tuesday (Day 10) - Spent close to 4 hours chatting to fellow forum members at Coffee Grinder Silom from 11am to 3pm. It opens early at 9am. The owners, who went out to the bars (Balcony, Tawan, Banana) the previous night, hardly had time to sleep. They were back only at 4am and they had to start baking at 7.30am. Nice gay friendly place to hang out and the three local male staff are also yummy eye candy. Throughout my 4 hours in the cafe, I observed different types of customers from curious tourists to local office workers who dropped by after lunch. On the topic of lunch, I made observation that some of the male massage shops in Soi 6 opened at 11am and one fellow forum member explained that there were local customers who go for massages during their lunch break! I went back to hotel for afternoon nap. Met fellow forum member at 9pm for dinner at Circus at Soi 4 before we entered Jupiter. Given front row left aisle seats. About 25 Jupiter guys. Not as many customers tonight but there was one big spending trio of Chinese tourists consisting two ladies and a guy at VIP sofa table. After the show and 3rd model walk, the singers came on and the VIP customers really went wild. They were hopping up and down half drunk surrounded by Jupiter guys. They started dishing out 100 baht tips to models, mamasans, waiters and singers. The other table with bottle service was Yours Truly here. We had six Jupiter guys with us and while our table was not as wild and crazy as big tip VIPs, we had an equally fun time. Fellow forum member who was with me did the @vinapu tuck many many many times. At 12.30am, we left, happy and with memories of another unforgettable night.2 points

Monday (Day 9) - At famous forum member's suggestion/insistence, I visited Tawan. Before that, I met another fellow forum member who had just arrived in Bangkok. We had dinner, walked up and down Soi 4, said hi to Hotmale beer bar downstairs staff and ended up at Tawan for 10.30pm show which started at 10.45pm. About 20 customers including an Asian lady with her two Asian male friends. She was squeamish when the Tawan guys with big cocks went around customers for tips. But other customers were old timers, including owners of Coffee Grndr who were there showing a friend around. About 25 Tawan guys and it was a cramped affair because they are all so big sized and take up space! Two Tawan guys were actually playing chess on one of their phones. They finished their game when more customers came in for the show. I would not mind offing one of them just to play chess! Show started with 3 ladyboy diva lip synching performances then it was all Tawan guys all the way - big cocks, fuck show, SM show (curtain at stage opens up to reveal a wall showing SM tools and equipment!). Finale was 2 Tawan guys jerking off while a bucket was being passed around for tips. First Tawan guy to cum (and he really let out a spray!) took the bucket of tips. Runner up couldn't cum in the end but he still got some tips. Tawan guys remembered fellow forum member and me from jockstrap night last year. I got to know two of them better. One is half African and half Thai and speaks in a low sexy American accent while the other has a Tiktok account showing his gym routine! Both are classic bodybuilder types and my fellow forum member's favourite. 4 twinks by Tawan standard but I would describe them as average next door types going by the standard of other gogo bars. Fellow forum member knew that I had been eyeing twink with glasses and he asked twink to sit and keep me company for the rest of the night. Entry to Tawan is 500 baht payable at entrance. Drinks for guys is 400 baht.2 points

Sunday ( Day 8 ) - Moonlight was choice of venue to visit. 450 baht entry for one drink. Payment at entrance. I paid with a 1000-baht note and the staff returned 550 baht in the form of prepared neatly folded 50 baht and 100 baht notes. Very clever and thoughtful way for customer to be ready with 100 baht notes to give tips inside the bar. About 30 customers for 10.30pm show. Group of 6 Koreans had a bottle of whisky to share drinks among themselves. Front row had two pairs consisting of farang customers and their Asian guys (from other bars) and also one pair of Asian customers in 50s whom I saw at Hotmale the previous night. At back seats, there was one pair of European male customers and 3 separate small groups of Chinese/Taiwanese customers (about 3 or 4 each) all with individual drinks. Only one other single punter like me - Asian in 60s and seated near me at back. All were here for show and no one invited any guy down from stage for drinks despite mamasans encouragement to cajole us. About 25 guys in black topless Moonlight T-shirt and black sweat pants on rotation on stage. Red number tags on their pants. Some are really handsome, most are next-door-types who have been dolled up. Not as model-looking as Jupiter but also not as rough as Hotmale and not as old as Dreamboys. I noticed one tall guy previously from Jupiter. Show started late at 10.45pm. Only 3 Moonlight models performing tonight- Tam, Nut and Mark. Tam had an impressive James Bond performance involving green lasers. Nut and Mark did towel number and there was slight glimpse of their pubes at finale. Nut and Mark also did matador and bull erotic dance. A lipsynching diva ladyboy also performed, alternating with the models. During model presentation after show, Jack and Jar came down with Tam, Nut and Mark. And there was a 6th model - a farang with distinctive tattoos on the entire left side of his body but no tattoo on right side. Muscular body and defined abs. His name was Mr Ryan. Awkward moment when the emcee asked whether anyone wanted to give 1000 baht garlands. Two mamasans went around holding garlands to ask customers. Unresponsive crowd. Finally one Chinese customer passed a mamasan six 100-baht notes to give to each model on stage. Models did get their tips eventually at last performance - the Boom Shake number where they danced close to customers. Customers freely gave out 100 baht and even 200 baht tips to models when they were up close to them. I think they preferred to pass them the money themselves. However, only 4 models appeared and did the dance - Tam, Nut, Mark and Jar (even though he seemed self-conscious of his dancing). Jack didn't dance and neither did guest model Mr Ryan so no tips for them. Show ended at 11.45pm. One hour as advertised. Two singers (one male and one female) started singing and the non-model Moonlight guys stood behind them and smiling to customers. I like this format compared to making them just stand and move in rotation like in other gogo bars. Close to midnight, a group of 3 male and 3 lady young Asian customers came in. They were here to drink only and listen to singers. They ordered bottles of wine and invited two Moonlight guys to drink with them. They left after half an hour and most of the customers had gone by then. I was second last to leave and only a group of 3 Asian customers was left at 12.30am.2 points

The high rise at Silom and Convent roads is nearing its opening. According to website it will feature many shops, eateries and a supermarket. This raises the question just what one it will be. Although Tops appears a likely candidate, it could also be an opportunity for Foodland to move into larger quarters. Our favorite market is a fixture in Patpong but an opportunity like this to relocate may prove very tempting, especially with the speculation that developers may make Patpong’s owner an offer it can’t refuse. And it’s difficult to think of Foodland without thinking about Took Lae Dee Restaurant (Thai for cheap and good). It would have to be a package deal or Vinapu would revoke UNESCO title.1 point

The Model For Trump Is Dead
Ruthrieston reacted to PeterRS for a topic
A strange thread title, I agree, but one that is I believe quite apt. A few days ago Italy's Silvio Berlusconi died. A media mogul with an outside personality whose businesses had made billions (€s or $s makes little difference) and who owned one of the country's top soccer teams, was attracted to right-wing politics. In 1994 he was elected to the first of his four separate terms as Italy's Prime Minister. Despite many scandals with young women (some being hookers and at least one alleged to be underage), continuing to own and run 90% of national television broadcasting whilst in power, alleged links to the mafia, a plethora of legal actions against him and his companies which saw him convicted several times for abuse of office, false accounting and bribery of judges - with the outcome in at least six occasions being politically altered to "no conviction", and a host of other scandals, he was always able to keep the public on his side. He was very much a model for Trumpism. Like Trump he liked to give his critics nicknames. Britain's Economist magazine was one of his sternest critics. Berlusconi called it The Ecommunist. The magazine was also taken to court. No doubt Trump watched and noted what was happening in Italy. Another avid viewer must unquestionably have been Britain's now disgraced Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Having lied to parliament years after he had lied massively to the British public when he led the campaign to get the country out of the European Union (an act that has seen the UK economy with the highest rate of inflation in Europe since the oil crises of the 1970s and the country's economy suffering badly through loss of jobs with the transport, farming and hospitality sectors particularly badly hit, stalled investment spending and a host of new export and travel regulations infuriating many), he had to resign as Prime Minister last year and has in recent days been forced to resign as a Member of Parliament. His ruling Conservative Party is about to go to war over whether he will be permitted ever to stand again for election as a Member of Parliament. He did not set himself up as a model. But Berlusconi certainly started the rot now eating away at US and UK politics.1 point -

I wish I understood some detail of the law in the US. I fail to understand why the various legal actions against Trump that have been talked about in some cases for years take such an inordinate amount of time to get anywhere near a law court. The attempt to manipulate the last election results in Georgia took place two and a half years ago. Yet despite the considerable evidence already made public, the case is dragging on and is still not ready to get to a court. Then there is the much older 2019 Deutsche Bank case where the Trmp Organisation allegedly failed to repy loans of $640 million +. I recall that Deutsche Bank was in a total internal mess at the time and that having stated it would not loan Trump any more cash, one of its departments did cough up a further $48 million - to help him pay off the $640 million! We also know that with appeal after appeal, whatever decision is come to in the case involving the documents found at Mar A Lago, a final outcome is not going to happen till after the 2024 Presidential election. With a Supreme Court packed with the likes of the dreadful sexual predator Clarence Thomas, that final verdict may itself be open to question!1 point -

The guys will dance in speedos on a stage, chat and drink with customers during the break, do the strip show, come back with their cocks fully erected to receive tips from customers that can help them to put their Speedo’s back. They also have live sex shows with porn actors on some days and they do have a dark room. I retreated to Lucky Bar bar near Dick's Cafe and then to M Bar which is also a go to place for a quiet drink. The loud music is losing customers for the boys in the main soi who will miss out on drinks and offs with customers moving away to a quieter location or just going home. With no Toy Boys (Boyztown), Nice Boys or Winner Bar (Sunee Plaza) type of entertainment allowed in the Complex it is becoming quite boring with so many beer bars and show bars.1 point

You pay venue costs when you check out, so you have not paid anything up front in your example. Your locker key number is tracked throughout the entrance trigger, bar, and room booking attendant’s computer systems. In contrast, you pay the escort in cash when your business with him is completed. This might be from cash you have on your person in the example where you prefer to be clothed when obtaining a room with him, or cash in your locker in the event you are wearing a towel unless like some clients you also carry a satchel, kit, etc, or from cash you keep in your locker even if clothed. Some of the escorts remain clothed in the common areas particularly in cooler weather there. I have never had a problem and in my experience the escorts are honest, but I wouldn’t flash a lot of cash in the private room and then leave all that to tempt the escort if you enter the shower cubicle while he is adjacent to your belongings. If you plan to shower in the room bring the towels issued upon entrance as most venues won’t have additional clean towels in the room. I start at R$100 escort fee for 55 minutes at Lagoa, as the attendant insists on a shower suite even if a 30 minute basic room is open. Oddly, the escorts push for the 55 minutes even after having agreed to a foreplay programa. Perhaps reflects confidence; typically not diffidence. For all I know it’s to assist the venue to uptick profit. I don’t mind the room upcharge and the shower is convenient for me and particularly the escort if he is in clothing and hadn’t used the public shower. I keep enough additional cash for optional upgrades depending on whether I want to progress beyond foreplay. I maintain enough overage so as not to kick myself for shorting an experience ultimately desired. This is all not to incentivize, through perhaps it does, as the foreplay is not lacklustre, and it’s not a workaround for possible erectile unreliability or for his goal to speed to conclusion. It’s more a case of being spared the hassle of determining the programa in a priori mode as opposed to in situ. I will go with a guy if I know foreplay at a minimum is desirable. Some of you may prefer to plan and evaluate an experience based on whether everything defined ahead of it rolled out satisfactorily, knowing upfront a scaling/cleaning and cavity drilling is the irrevocable intent. In my own business life transactions were always dyadic, not driven by arbitrary governance. I certainly never prevailed upon third party input to establish a one-on-one deal.1 point -
