First time visitor, can someone explain it all to me...?
jamiebee and 3 others reacted to flashbarryallen for a topic
One small thing that no one has said yet. If you take a guy back to your room, be mindful of your belongings. I have never had a bad experience, but I'm the paranoid type that keeps things like my iPad and laptop in the safe and will even bring my wallet into the bathroom with me if I'm showering alone (god forbid.) This should also apply while sleeping. Leave your wallet and any other belongings in the safe if you're bringing a guy back for long term. Speaking of long term, it helps to clarify what that means (learned this from @vinapu.) Don't be shy to say that long term means sex in the morning too and going to breakfast with you if that's what you want. Always get clear on operational definitions. If you're meeting guys from Grindr, be very clear about your preferences for chem/drug sex. I'm vehemently against it, and the worst experience I ever had was a guy smoking some sort of drug in my room and offering me a "candy" (which thankfully I was wise enough in the moment to know was probably laced with something and said no.) Anything drug related is my worst nightmare. Hmmm..there will be times you will be disappointed unfortunately. My very first off was a disappointment in bed, though we had been talking for hours beforehand and it was early hours, so I forgave him and now he's a legitimate friend of mine who I adore. There are so many variables that can affect performance, and you have to find the right balance between being a compassionate human versus a paying customer when a guy is unable to perform. I'll admit I'm a bit of a pushover. My last Bangkok trip, one guy tried his hardest to perform, but just couldn't. I still paid him because he really was trying his best. In the end, I think he had a drug problem, and he died like two months after I met him. đ Remember, this is just fantasy for the most part. While there are stories of falling in love, it's not the norm. Guys will tell you they love you and will ask you for cash because of any number of reasons either real or made up. You have to live in the fantasy and enjoy it (don't always be stoic), but then be able to snap back to reality. Don't be so moved by the barrage of messages and cute emojis you receive. It's mainly all business to them and it's not worth it to get lost in the What Ifs?? Everyone has different styles. Some like to get in (or never even go to the bar at all) and get out. Others like to buy a bottle, enjoy the night, do a chemistry test with the guys along with stolen touches and flirting. I suggest you do both if budget allows. Some guys can only keep up the charade of showing interest for a little bit, and others know how to keep it going and charm you. This could be a good test of what bedroom experience will be like. I Am sure I could write more, but I'll end with saying don't forget the small things. If you go to Moonlight, chat with Paul. He's a genuinely great guy and fun conversationalist. Sit at HotMale beer bar and don't be afraid to engage the cute bartenders in conversation. It's so easy to focus on the sex, but some of my most memorable moments have been with the colorful people (the owner at Gs Bangkok also a good example) that make the city special and like a second home for many of us.4 points -
Well, as I have gotten older I find my desires have changed as well as my sexual positions. Years back I was mostly a top but now, I am mostly a bottom. I have also found that I use to love to order our daily and now I like to cook something with my BF and eat a nice dinner together. I use to love bars and parties and now, I must prefer an in-call to any other method. As we age, our desires change and so does our tolerance of things. However, I still find I am attracted to Asians and Latins above others. As I age, I also find my desire to tell members not to be petty and try to feud with each other happens more often. Like the article says, Live and Love.4 points

From Pattaya Mail Tweed Harris, now in his 90th year, tells his PCEC audience about his life experiences and reflects on how as he aged, his desires in life continued to change. The Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) was privileged to have Tweed Harris as their guest speaker on Wednesday, May 31. Tweed has previously shared his story as an actor, playwright, dancer, author, and teacher with the PCEC. Tweed has now reached his 90th year and for this presentation, he provided his âReflections on Ageing and Changing Desires.â Tweedâs message was that what one desires in youth is no longer important in adulthood. As we age and go through life experiences, our desires will change. His talk illustrated this view by recounting his own life and how his desires and aspirations changed over time. First, he spoke about his early life in England and how he was first introduced to singing, thus creating his desire to become a singer and his early performances. He continued with his life story describing each stage and how it led to changing desires. During his national service his desire was to be a good soldier. When he delved into acting, his aspiration was to be a good actor. In one period of his life, he was a circus groom in Australia which led to his wanting to be a circus rider; but he was not able to achieve this desire as while still a groom he was fired due to exchanging punches with another groom. During his acting career, he mentioned that he had differences with what a director wanted him to do. The director told him âIf you donât like it, become a director.â Thus, another endeavor and another desire to be a great director. Tweed also described how later in his life he became a teacher, and loved it. His desire then was to be an excellent teacher, which he considers he achieved explaining how he used his acting skills as part of his teaching style. He concluded his talk by noting that when he was 79 and experiencing a âdown period,â he decided to holiday in Thailand and how this led to his meeting a Thai man in a shopping center who, after 11 years is still his partner. He also mentioned that while in Australia he became a Buddhist and was told by Buddhist monks there that he would live to be 105. So, now his desire is to live, to love, and to be loved. To view Tweedâs presentation, see the video on the PCECâs YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnozAQPsJJ4. Your comment is correct, but having had Hepatitis B 30 years ago from infected seafood I can tell you it is no fun. In fact it will kill your fun for quite a long time. It takes about a year for the body to fully recover. My first few days were in hospital, then 6 weeks resting at home. Thereafter I had precious little energy for a few more months.3 points

Saturday (Day 7) - Hotmale is last bar in Soi Gay Patpong that I haven't visited so tonight was the night to visit. Surprisingly few customers for a Saturday night. Fewer than 20 customers. About 25 guys and many have good bodies. Not as handsome and well-groomed as the guys at Jupiter but I would rate the Hot Male guys higher than the guys at Dreamboys, Freshboys, Banana and Screwboys. 10.30pm show was performed entirely by their own guys. No ladyboy diva lip-synching. Just dancing with a lot of cocks on display. During the big cock show at finale, there were 9 guys with really long and big cocks available for tips. Drinks fee is 400 baht.3 points

Friday (Day 6) - Dinner at G Bangkok with fellow forum member followed by visit to Banana Bar. Surprise find at show - a Russian aerial dancer! (I Googled the term because I know I can't call him a pole dancer!) He did acrobatics using a long rope suspended from ceiling. And he had a fit body to ogle at! Very entertaining and it was another innovative way to bring in the tourist crowds. There was also one solo dance number where the professional dancer danced to K-Pop music, which is the latest in-thing. I could see the logic of including such performances to draw in tourist crowd. When a group of tourists (and they are mostly ladies) come into a bar, that's 4 to 5 drinks straightaway. The rest of the show consisted of ladyboy diva lip synching, some dancing and shower and big cock show. I saw a Laos guy I knew and asked him to sit with me during the show. Bought him a drink (300 baht) and also tipped him afterwards. If only I could take him back to hotel room, I would have done so! After leaving Banana, fellow forum member and I went to Foodland Patpong where we met his regular (and very handsome) guy. Reminded me of my ex-boyfriend who has gone back to Vietnam permanently. Overall an enjoyable night. Drinks at Banana are 380 baht.3 points

I wasn't sure whether I wanted to do a trip report initially. I posted my experiences in various bars the past week in individual existing topics but upon reflection, I have decided to combine them so here goes. My last trip was last December and now I am here for 2 weeks in holiday. Unfortunately, I am staying with family so I only had the first two nights available to bring guys back to hotel room. Sunday (Day 1) - Arrived at airport at night and only reached hotel at midnight. Thank goodness for Screwboys which is open till late. Guys were in basketball singlets and shorts. I would rather see them in their previously infamous white briefs with blue stripes. About 15 guys on stage with the rest seated with customers. Party atmosphere with some of the guys dancing to the loud music. Saw a smooth charming twink but I hesitated and he ended up being called over to two German customers who sat next to me. We had some small talk and toasted drinks but inside me, I was cursing myself for not being quicker. Show started at 12.45am. Lots of ladyboy performances. Only 2 big cock shows and these were not done by Screwboys guys but by freelancers. They came into the bar before their performances, paraded their cocks, earned their tips and quickly moved off. Show ended at 1.30am and lo and behold, German customers paid up and left. I had expected them to take the twink off. I asked him over to my seat and five minutes later, we were in my hotel room. From Laos. Hardworking fella. After our session, he went to his next job which is at a karaoke bar. He says he only gets back to his room at 7am. Maybe I will ask him to bring me to his karaoke bar one of these nights. Drinks at 350 baht and off fee 500 baht. I tipped mamasan 100 baht and paid Laos twink 2000 baht for short time session. Monday (Day 2) - Full house at Jupiter. Mostly Asian customers. Ladies were all seated in front aisle rows. The Jupiter dancers really loved performing for them. In terms of show items, same as last year. No difference. Why change a winning formula after all? I arrived at 10.15pm at door and told waiter that I would be ordering a bottle of whisky. He led me to a table next to sound system. Not a sofa table but at least a private space and a splendid view of the locker and gym area where the Jupiter guys hang out before they go on stage. I took a look at drinks menu and ordered one bottle of Johnnie Walker. Mamasan remembered me. "Poppy (the singer) no work tonight. He work Wednesday night." "You come alone? Where your friends?" Mamasan called over Cambodian handsome model whom I met last December nd whom I had also contacted in advance. He was in red briefs - tonight's attire for first model walk on stage for Jupiter guys. "I have to do model walk 1030. After that, I come to you." No problem, I have all night. 10.30pm - the first model walk started. Quite a number of Jupiter guys working today, easily at least 30. Most Mondays are quiet affairs. After the first model walk, the show started. Cambodian was with me, now fully dressed. We watched the show until 11.30pm after the second model walk where the Jupiter guys came out in white shorts only. One interesting thing happened. An Asian male and female couple in 30s had come in and they were seated at table next to me. I knew they were from China because they spoke to each other in Mandarin and they spoke to mamasan in English. They were looking for a guy for a threesome. Mamasan called over 8 Jupiter guys to the couple and the lady took some time to pick one tall fair skinned Jupiter guy. All this while, I was sniggering away. I looked at my guy and asked him if he had ever been in a 3some. Cambodian smiled shyly like a schoolboy and shook his head. He need not worry about me asking him for a 3some. I wanted him all to myself tonight. Still at least 2/3 of Johnnie Walker left. Shall go again another night this week and next week. Tuesday (Day 3) - I spent first half of evening at Hot Male beer bar downstairs. No lack of customers for the bars in Soi Gay Patpong. In fact many were casual tourists who went inside the bars for the shows. Hot Male beer bar downstairs remains best spot for people watching as they walk up and down the soi. And of course it's a great spot to perv at the shirtless Dreamboys guys on the balcony. Hot Male beer bar staff are as friendly and chatty as ever. Freshboys 10.30pm show was well attended - a group of farang tourists comprising one guy and three ladies, a gay Taiwan couple, a big spender with bottle service and two Freshboys guys (who have changed out of Freshboys white shorts) and a mamasan around him and an eclectic Asian group in their 40s/50s (5 men, 3 women). The lead guy was seated with the women and dispensing tips to performers on stage. The other men called down a Freshboys guy to sit with them. Later before second show, two farang ladies came in, with one of them using crutches as her leg was in a cast. She must have heard many good things about the show because she was willing to climb up the narrow stairs to the bar! As for Freshboys guys, mostly twinks and some twunks. Many familiar faces from last year. Mamasans and waiters also same, including one lanky handsome waiter with a number tag. Show was same as well. Mix of ladyboy lip synching, shower show and big cock show (4 of them). Drinks at 400 baht. Wednesday (Day 4) - I met some fellow forum members for dinner at G Bangkok. We had a great time chatting about our recent experiences. At the same time, we were ogling a hunky Banana Bar guy standing outside his bar with an umbrella (it was raining for a while). After dinner, we went to Jupiter. Longtime singer Poppy is back singing. He wasn't there on Monday and in fact, he doesn't sing every night at Jupiter nowadays. Only certain nights. I had reserved a sofa seat at the back for our entourage. Quiet night. Only 14 guys working tonight - fellow forum member actually meticulously counted them! In terms of customers, only half full compared to Monday night. Many ladies. There was in fact one group of ladies on 2nd floor looking down like fangirls and they remained there until the show ended. VIP table near the stairs was reserved for 2 very well dressed ladies. Midway during the show, they asked mamasan to arrange some guys to stand in a semicircle for them to choose. First time customers would only be able to choose them during the 3rd model walk when they finally wear number tags on their jeans. During the 1st and 2nd model walks, they were in briefs and shorts but no number tags so it was quite difficult to call them down to your seat unless you have mamasan next to you and you inform him. Cambodian handsome hunk whom I took back on Monday night was not working today. But I spotted a Laos guy who worked at Banana last December and whom I met. So surprised that he's working at Jupiter now. Happy that he haf cimbed the gogobar ladder. I wanted to get reacquainted with him. Unfortunately, another customer had arranged to off him in advance. I told mamasan that we would not be offing any guy tonight but I asked mamasan if it was possible to send over some guys to our table who could drink and he helpfully found some from those who had not been offed. We played card games where the loser had to drink half a shot of whisky. Some guys barely lasted a few shots while some guys could really drink and lasted all the way till we eventually ended at half past midnight. Thursday (Day 5) - Visited Dreamboys and out of 30 guys on stage, I would take half of them. Yes, many are old timers but they are keeping themselves in shape. Music was not that loud. I found music at Jupiter to be louder. 10.30pm show is more or less the same but opening coyote dancing is not done by professionals anymore. It's now in-house with 11 of the Dreamboys guys on stage dancing. Unfortunately, most can't dance. Kudos for effort. Rest of show was entertaining enough. Quick transition between performances. Just the right balance of drag queen diva lip synching and other performances including two big cock shows with sucking. There was a Magic Mike style dance where two hunks in police uniforms danced and e eventually stripped down. That was the highlight for me and it was comparable in standard to Jupiter and Moonlight. Macho guy in high heels dancing was there as well. Many customers and had to squeeze. Main difference is no ladies in crowd unlike Jupiter which had many lady customers. I have visited 3 out of 4 bars on Soi Patpong. Left Hotmale to visit on another night.2 points

The Impact of MacLennanâs âSuicideâ The tragic circumstances of MacLennanâs death are unlikely ever to be known â or at least made public. Could it possibly have been suicide? Was he indeed murdered, as so many continue to believe? Several books and articles have been written on the subject. The latest âA Death in Hong Kongâ by Nigel Collett was published early last year. I have not read it. Based on its reviews, though, Collett places the suicide/murder in the context of the times, something not generally well known now and which I have also tried to explain above. As the South China Morning Post (Hong Kongâs primary daily English language newspaper) reviewer noted, many homosexual and bisexual men had arrived in the 1970s to take up official positions in Hong Kong where, despite the law, the city was more open to gay behaviour than Britain where it had actually been decriminalised. That relatively casual approach to homosexual affairs all changed after Richard Duffy was jailed and opened the Pandoraâs Box which revealed a degree of sleaze and corruption that shocked many to their core. There can now be no doubt that that one act inevitably led, albeit indirectly, to much of what followed, including MacLennanâs death. It is also unlikely we will ever understand how MacLennanâs death and the resultant utterly shambolic attempts by the RHKP and the government to keep it quiet had such an impact in changing what were allegedly entrenched beliefs about homosexual behaviour amongst the Chinese population in Hong Kong. I suspect the vast majority of the Chinese population had never given much thought to it. With most being an immigrant population fiercely determined to work hard and make lives better for their families, homosexual behaviour was well down their list of priorities. After a thorough examination of facts, Collett concludes that MacLennan did commit suicide. Before his death last year, I spoke to Peter Moss who had been a friend for decades, a former Deputy Director in the Hong Kong Government Information Services Department for my first dozen years in Hong Kong. Peter was then living in retirement in Malaysia where he had served the colonial government prior to independence. I asked for his views. Collett had consulted him when drafting his book and Peter agreed with the suicide theory. I, though, have three reasons for doubting Collettâs conclusion. First, Collett did not arrive in Hong Kong until 1984. He therefore had no first-hand knowledge of the events he describes. I lived in Hong Kong for 25 years from 1975 and witnessed the events as reported at the time. Second Collettâs main occupation had been as an officer in charge of Gurkha regiments. In 1994, he formed a company Gurkha International Manpower Services Ltd. He has written only two books but contributes to a number of publications. Through his company he had links to law enforcement in colonial Hong Kong. There is therefore the possibility, however remote, that his views might have been swayed in favour of the RHKP. Third, in 2014 he wrote Firelight of a Different Colour, a biography of the extraordinarily talented gay Hong Kong superstar actor and singer, Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing, who committed suicide in 2003 aged 46. I worked with Leslie on two occasions, I had known his manager, Florence Chan, for many years, and I knew in detail the background to an offer made to him by the London impresario Sir Cameron Mackintosh which could have led to his appearance in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. I knew because I was in Leslieâs dressing room at the Hong Kong Coliseum when the offer was made by Sir Cameronâs Managing Director, Martin McCallum! I did not know Leslie well but admired him immensely both for his amazing talent and his total modesty. InFirelight Collett relies on a vast amount of speculation and few specific sources â understandable, since Leslieâs family did not want the book written. The Phantom episode Collett describes is totally wrong. When one book gets this and other alleged âfactsâ wrong, I hear alarm bells when another book allegedly based on a reconstruction of âfactsâ appears by the same author. We all love conspiracy theories and most of us believe â or want to believe â that we know better than official versions. I believe I know who killed John F. Kennedy and how, based on facts that keep emerging as time goes on, it is not what the Earl Warren Commission wanted us to believe. But I will never know if my theory is correct. Equally I believe I know that John MacLennan could not have committed suicide â not given the background of the times and by shooting himself five times in the abdomen. That to me defies credibility. As he had told Elsie Elliott, MacLennan still was in possession of a great deal of information about the homosexual activities of many people in high places. Most, if not all, of these prominent individuals would not wish that information to become public. I accept that MacLennan came from a small town in the north of Scotland where his life would have been massively different from that he enjoyed amidst the bright lights and temptations of a teeming international city like Hong Kong. It was known he had a girlfriend in Scotland whom he planned to marry and that he had fooled around with at least three mistresses on various occasions during his time in Hong Kong. Yet, I also accept it was perfectly possible that he was in some way enticed to try sex with one or more male prostitutes. I do not believe for a moment that makes anyone a homosexual. It may at best have illustrated a tendency towards his being bisexual. Yet, given the determination of his superiors to âset up himâ, even that must surely be open to more than considerable doubt. Would the very huge psychological pressure he was under, given the detailed knowledge he had obtained whilst working for Special Branch, the knowledge that Brooks and Quinn were out to âget himâ and the further knowledge that the planting of evidence by the RHKP was well-known within the Force â would that have been enough to unhinge his mind and pressure him towards suicide? The resultant publicity of a trial would have unquestionably brought unbelievable shame to his family in Scotland. He must also have realised that the vague chance of an acquittal could not undo the public damage to his reputation and the almost certainty of his never being able to work in any police force again. There can be no doubt that he would not on that evening have been capable of particularly rational thinking. But does all that explain his actions on the night of his death? Can it possibly explain the reason for attempting to commit suicide with five bullets to his abdomen with the gun pointed in an unnatural direction for firing? If indeed it was a suicide, why were so many outright and provable lies told in the subsequent investigations? Why did the Governor through his aides and the Attorney General do all in their power to keep the case under wraps? Taken all together, it indicates at least to me that there was much more to the MacLennan affair than we know even today. And so I and the few friends I still have who also lived in Hong Kong at the time of MacLennanâs death refuse to believe that it was suicide. To us it was a botched murder to cover up a great deal of sleaze and sludge in a filthy little swamp. I wish I could prove it! All I know is that that death of one very insignificant member of the police force contributed in no small way to a major âclean upâ of the forces of law and order in Hong Kong. At the start of the millennium an opinion poll was conducted amongst Hong Kong people to name the most significant events in 150 years of Hong Kong history The establishment of the ICAC was voted as the sixth most important. Equally, MacLennanâs death was eventually to result in Hong Kong becoming a much more tolerant, open and free society for gay men and women. If only for these two reasons, Inspector John MacLennan should always be remembered. Sources 1. https://unhabitat.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/GRHS.2007.CaseStudy.Crime_.HongKong.pdf 2. Hong Kong welcomed the ICAC. In 1999 the people of Hong Kong were polled about the most important events since the founding of Hong Kong. The establishment of the ICAC was voted as #6 3. https://www.thecrimevault.com/exclusives/what-was-it-like-as-a-brit-in-the-royal-hong-kong-police/ 4. In an article about MacLennanâs death, the following appeared in Scotlandâs National newspaper on 16 January 2018. Writing after the inquest in 1981 [see below], the investigative journalist Duncan Campbell, who inquired into the death of the Scot, wrote: âMacLennanâs death is a savage reminder of the style of operation of the notoriously corrupt Hong Kong police. At the centre of the affair is a police campaign against homosexuality: MacLennan was about to be arrested, it was said, by a Special Investigation Unit which hunted down homosexuals. But the police campaign is more a means of stabilizing police power in the colony, than an actual piece of law enforcement. âIn this enterprise, the police have collaborated with the Triad, criminal syndicates procuring youths, and have thus ensnared several government officials in compromising circumstances. âThe police venture had two objectives: first to pursue minor offenders against Hong Kongâs repressive sexual laws; and second to render more highly placed officials liable to pressure â from the police. Those who complied were secure. One person who did not give in to this racket was an English lawyer Howard Lindsay. As a result he was put on trial for sexual offenses last yearâ 5. Eventually its portfolio would include arts and entertainment facilities. Council members were appointed by the government. In 1952, two seats were offered for election and by 1956 the number increased to half, although there were major restrictions re those entitled to vote. The Council became an autonomous body in 1973. I tend to be more relax with tipping. Just one simple rule, if i like the guy and want to see him again, ill tip. This apply to very helpful mamasan, cute waiter, cute singer, cute barker outside, cute bartender, well u get the idea. Tipping for me is to indicate i appreciate and like them, for whatever service they provided me. I dont tip rude and or pushy mamasan, guys im not interested in, guys who sits near me uninvited and not my type, waiter just for doing their job i.e brings my order and nothing else etc. I dont drink, so i rarely in position to open a bottle, but on one occassion, i did, won a bottle at a lucky draw during one of the bar anniversary, and i tip the waiter and mamasan who had been serving our table, drinking shots and chatting and having fun with us. I didnt call boys since im already with two boys from other place. Those two boys, i also tipped them afterward for joining me for the bar visit, though one of them refuse my tips, since he isnt a money boy. But even then, i did tipped him extra the next day i met him at his work. As for how much, this also correlate with how much i like the guy and how much likely ill be seeing the guy again, of course within reason aka, what the agreed tip + some. This also depends on my mood too, which usually due to the service i received but sometimes due to external factors too. There is one time i actually just called guys from jupiter to sit with me, order drinks for him and clearly told him im not taking him. I did this with 3 guys in a row, just to see how they are reacting. Its a fun experiment, and out of the 3, 2 actually stays with me and enjoy my company, while one obviously couldnt wait to be away from me, probably to get to a diff customer who will off him. I dont blame him, but somehow mamasan saw this and scold him and ask him to stay sit with me, at least until his drink is finished. In this scenario, i didnt tip him, but tip the mamasan instead. The other two boys did get tips from me. The last one actually gets higher tip as there was touchy feely happening lol2 points -

It's hard for some to believe, but for expats, popping open a bottle of Blend 285 and drinking with staff is not something that requires tipping. Most of the time you see this, it's likely the guy isn't a customer. Especially in low season. It's just another day. I often drink with Thai / Lao friends. I don't pay them/tip them lol. It just fills their time till the next tourist wonders down the street with a wallet full of holiday money.2 points -

Sorry that is not quite the case. I did have Hepatitis A in my early 20s. I was around 38 and in Asia when I was infected with Hep B. As you suggest there is no cure, but most of those westerners infected quickly develop antibodies so they are no longer infectious. That was the case with me within 3 months. That said, Hep B is virtually endemic in Asia. In December 2021 the Contagion Live website estimated that nearly 300 million people in Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific were infected chronically with the Hep B virus. Worse, roughly 87% of those with chronic Hep B remain undiagnosed. Thanks to vaccination, the numbers are slowly dropping, but you have a much higher chance of infection by close association with SE Asians than westerners. Vaccination is definitely recommended.2 points -
Strippers in Sao Paulo
ChristianPFC and one other reacted to lopesv2 for a topic
I am not aware of any club with lap dance strippers in SĂŁo Paulo. There are stripper clubs but they are NOT the same as the USA or Canadian ones. As @Latbear4blk mentioned there are full sex sessions in saunas, but let me mention the strip clubs that I am aware of. Hothouse They are a bar that focus on gogo/stripper shows. The guys will dance in speedos on a stage, chat and drink with customers during the break, do the strip show, come back with their cocks fully erected to receive tips from customers that can help them to put their Speedoâs back. They also have live sex shows with porn actors on some days and they do have a dark room. The owners Emerson and Anderson are very nice and they also are the ones responsible for Papo Mix a website focused on the gay night in Brazil. https://instagram.com/hothousespoficial?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== Papo Mix https://instagram.com/tvpapomix?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== Bar Queen Similar to Hothouse but with drag/ lip synchronized shows. The owners are Mary and Arthur that also do some lip synchronized performances there. https://instagram.com/barqueen2023?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== also putting Mary instagram https://instagram.com/maryanamercury?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== Lagoa/Club 555 They have gogo/stripper shows on some days. Check their instagram for the schedule. https://instagram.com/espacolagoasauna?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== https://instagram.com/clube_555?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ== There are also discos and parties that have strip shows.2 points -

I am one of those, having had my first gay experience at the age of forty-five. It was Thailand that saved me, first of all as an energetic butterfly for nine years, and then by affording me the opportunity to meet the only love of my life nearly twenty years ago. And while I regret those lost years, I wonder if I would have appreciated my later experiences so deeply- or even afforded them- as a young man. There are others like me. One of the aspects of Boyztown in the nineties I liked most was that , for the first time in my life, I found myself among brothers. One guy I met was in his seventies. HIs wife of forty plus years had just died and within weeks he was there with me, on the terrace of Panorama, watching the go go dancers sashay past on their way to work. Whenever I saw him during the rest of my stay he was hand-in-hand with one of them. Like me, he had found love- or at least fun- late in his life....but not too late.2 points

A number of years ago I had to sit through this guys drivel one night at Cocka2 Bar. He was also very offensive to other customers and staff. Jomtien Complex now only has to deal with his perpetually drunk boyfriend.2 points -
Reading that article, I started out thinking that most of us probably have experienced changing desires and expectations as we have gone through life. That has certainly been my experience with quite a few more major changes than I ever thought might happen. But then I considered the experiences of my sister and brother. Both doctors, their lives have hardly changed at all as they have aged. I assume many professions are more or less the same. Perhaps one major change that I have seen in some others is a transition from being totally straight to becoming totally gay (insofar as "totally" can ever mean precisely that in a romantic/sexual context). I have friends in Australia, the UK, Austria, the US and various other countries who had been married for at least a couple of decades and have in almost all cases two children who then divorced their wives and quite quickly started living with another man. Most kept in agreeable contact with their children, although not all. The wife and kids of one friend who now lives in Chiang Mai with his partner totally refuse to have anything to do with him even though he continued to pay alimony and for his kids' university education. I also know people who wish they had made changes much earlier and taken a different path in their lives. For many, the social conventions in place 50 and more years ago often dictated a certain course, even though those concerned might have had a deep rooted desire to take a different path. Even if they managed to find their way on to that path later in their lives, I often wonder if they feel they missed out on much that could - perhaps - have given them a more satisfying and meaningful existence.2 points

Chasten Buttigieg Grows Up

Chasten Buttigieg Has Grown Up. So Has His Hometown. A touching portrayal of Chasten. And, indirectly, the changes in Michigan and the whole world since he was a kid. I'll add one thing. Like Michelle Obama and a minority of other highly respected political spouses, one thing that works well for him is that he seems to honestly just feel his way through things. In a way that we, especially Gay men, can relate to. And, like Michelle, he always goes high. It's exciting to think someday he could be the First Gentleman. đ1 point -
Best GoGo Bar
ChristianPFC reacted to vinapu for a topic
There's no such thing like best bar. First, your criteria what constitutes 'best' may not necessarily correspond with somebody else's . The same goes with quality boys. What that really means ? Some may be looking for face , others for cuteness, other still for lack of tattoo, disk size, bushy or shaved pubes etc. Sex performance? again what's that? Great l top may be lousy or most likely , not existing, bottom. Drinks are pretty uniformly priced at 400-500 and off fees are 500 with exception of models at Moonlight where it's 1000. Even if you ask what is members favorite bar and why you may get whole list as different people are looking for different things.1 point -

ask boy , he will know. Pavillion place right in Patpong 2 and Niagara hotel in Silom soi 9 as well as Suriwongse hotel beside Monnlight should have those . Again boy will know. An alternative few people are using is to keep room in some cheap hotel ( Nantra Silom, Wall Street Inn or Pavillion indeed ) just for that purpose. Adds to the bill but some may find that worthwhile.1 point

Apparently not when you are an expat. Then this rule doesnt apply. Even if you just like me - a tourist - are at that moment a customer of the bar and like to have company of boys. Then as an expat just paying the drink is enough. Next time I will say "I am an expat, I understand you dont expect tips then so I wont give you anything, only a drink"1 point -

I listened to his presentation and made my judgement that heâs an old man trying his best to share his experience and what heâs learned about life. If you wish to believe accusations made my someone who claims to seen him in a bar in Pattaya, be my guest. Perhaps you were actually in the bar by clairvoyance. That would be one more credential you can add to your medical degree which enables you to advise Phuket public health officials on how they should do their job. Tell us, please: is their any topic under the sun on which you donât see yourself as an expert?1 point

i seem to recall - and I am sure someone will correct me if this is incorrect - several years ago there was a poster here (whom I shall not name) who was infected with HPV which had become cancerous. He had written a post lauding the treatment he had received at the King Chulalongkorn Public Hospital across from Lumphini Park. Sadly he was only in remission and the cancer returned. But this time, though, he had no funds left to pay for further treatment. Friends put him up on their sofa where he soon died. Looking at the Cancer Council website, HPV is responsible for 90% of anal cancers. https://www.cancer.org.au/what-is-hpv#1 point -

I canât see that. If it was going to happen it would have happened 10 years ago. Sunee Plaza is a fair walk off the beaten track. The area is very run down and full of narrow roads and access is difficult. High rise buildings are usually positioned on,or near main roads for ease of access and also need plenty of parking space. In addition, as we well know, there is no real entertainment (gay or straight) in the area for those living there to enjoy. So I donât see anyone building a high rise or anyone buying the units, if one was ever built.1 point

Ruthrieston reacted to vinapu for a topic
Thank you for excellent report Jason and even more for inviting me to be part of your fun night at Jupiter on Wednesday. I was one who counted boys , Lol. Guy sitting beside me was not a drinker so he asked me to gulp few of his half shots for him when he lost. Glad you liked Dreamboys, I was there few days before and for me it was very disappointing. I guess one of us had good or other bad luck as our taste in boys ids not that different. I returned home last night and my heart is bleeding that I missed that gymnast show at Banana which Lucy or not, is fast becoming my most liked bar. Boys may not be my type bodywise but they are as friendly ad Tawan ones but not even close as pushy for drinks and tips . Yes that hunky barker with umbrella we ogled on Wed is big part of that attraction, he, he. He was not reluctant when I did trademarked vinapu tuck on him two nights in row, even it it was outside bar. But I was fast (experience counts) and discreet. have fun and continue reporting.1 point -
Reflections on Ageing and Changing Desires
Ruthrieston reacted to PeterRS for a topic
One sits almost permanently in another Asian chat site (not a Thai one). He was married for at least 20 years, has a son and now grandchildren. Around his early 50s he discovered he was gay, found a South American boyfriend in a "sleazy" bar (his description) and realised he was the love of his life. Wife quickly divorced, boyfriend moved in and they lived happily ever after. But - don't our lives always have 'buts'? - he then had a business trip to South East Asia around 20 years ago. For each summer vacation thereafter, he left the love of his life and flew to Asia where he spent virtually his entire vacations in gay saunas around the region having endless sex with young Asian guys. Meanwhile his lover was ill and getting no better. Eventually he died, probably around 7 years ago. Thereafter he filled the chat troom with the agonies of having lost the love of his life. He gave up his annual Asian adventures to live what appears to be a life of virtual solitude. The insights members receive on this board from those who live around the world are often fascinating, both about their trips to Thailand and sexual adventures in other countries. This bore is 80 years old this year and has lived for the last 30 or more years in a large city in Texas! Now alone, he appears to regard that oter chat room as his one lifeline to some sort of normalcy, almost daily dispensing his wisdom to 20-something Asians about how to grow old gracefully! Hopefully he never discovers this board! đ1 point -

Twinks in Pattaya
Mavica reacted to gayinpattaya for a topic
So from your photo, looks like last time you were sat at @home bar, looking across at Sun Bar. Sun Bar has now moved, and the place you were looking at is called Jewel Bar. It has a handful of Cambodian boys, just as @home bar does. Sun Bar is a mixed bag with a lot of Lao boys. As said above, if you walk down the street and see a boy you like, go sit in the bar, call him over and buy him a boy drink *normally 40 baht more expensive than yours*. This money goes to the boy for his time. If you have a boy sit with you it's expected to tip them. 100/200 baht seems to be common. If you want to take the boy home, you will pay the bar a fine. In Jomtien Complex this is 300 baht. Generally speaking the boy gets 100 baht of fit, the bar keeps the rest. As for what happens away from the bar and how much money you tip the boy at the end, that's something I would suggest negotiating fully before paying a bar fine.1 point
