  1. OVERDUE TRIP REPORT Hi guys. This trip actually happened in January but now I am just getting around to writing about it! Unfortunately it was only a short trip, and also unfortunately I had some health issues come up which prevented me from doing everything that I had planned, but I will write about some of things I got up to. Arrival Not much to write about, but upon disembarking and going into the airport, the door going into the airport was locked so we all stood around for a bit whilst someone came to unlock it. Immigration was fairly close to where I was (and very busy) but I had to visit the toilet first, after which I found another immigration section which had considerably less people. Went through pretty quickly only needing my passport and boarding pass (no TM6 needed), and then went to collect my suitcase which took a considerable amount of time, and to put icing on the cake, the luggage tag on my suitcase must have fallen off or been ripped off in transit as it was not there. Shame, as I liked it. Pattaya (Jomtien) In the past I had taken the bus every time I had been to Pattaya, but I thought for this trip I would try go by car. I booked Mike Taxi via the form on their website and communication was quick and efficient. 1000 THB to Pattaya. Found the representative at the arrival area, was told to wait for a bit before being sent off after being told the licence plate number and to go to the '2nd lane' which I had no idea what she meant, but then figured it out once I got outside. The trip was non-eventful (the driving was probably a little fast for my liking) but we made it there in 1.5 hours. As I looked out the window whilst driving through Pattaya I noticed more foreigners than Thais which I guess is a good sign that tourism is returning to normal. Arrived at Agate, which is beautifully presented and quite spacious (and for me, much better than Zing), went for a walk to TT and 7-11 to get some supplies. Had a decent foot massage at Burirom Massage and got some grab food for dinner. Note: the body wash at Agate smells divine. Other things I got up to in Jomtien included walking the length of Dongtan Beach all the way to the view point, hanging out at one of the gay concessions at Dongtan Beach where I lazed happily reading a book (on my phone) and admired some handsome French men who were at the same concession, had a 'massage' at one of the places in the complex (I cannot remember the name, but it was the 2nd of the two that are on the same road as the Agate) which was kinda nice but not totally satisfying, did a morning walk of some of the length of Jomtien Beach (up until the boat ramp) and turns out that many people also had the same idea. I did do a lap of the complex on one of the evenings, but no-one really 'jumped out at me' so to speak, Grindr was also a little quiet for me, but I was not feeling 100% so I didn't mind. To Bangkok Upon checking out, the driver from Mike's Taxi was already waiting for me. I think next time I will take the bus - this driver drove also quite fast, was eating a mandarin, talking on the phone, texting on the phone, and at times talking to himself. Stopped twice so he could go to the toilet (totally fine) and another in Bangkok where he bought some food at a roadside stall down a random alley. But we made it safely. It took about 2.5 hours, and cost 1200 THB. We arrived at about 2:30pm and I was getting a little worried as I had an appointment and Cutey and Beauty at 3:00pm. Checked into the Tarntawan with a 'welcome back', turns out my room was not ready yet, not to worry I said I would go to 7-11, to which they told me it was being renovated. Not to worry, I went to the other 7-11 (the big one) to buy a few things, back to the hotel and my room still wasn't ready and it was approaching 3:00pm (I did tell them I had an appointment), but at the last minute it was ready, I put my stuff in my room and headed to Cutey and Beauty and made my appointment on time. The owner or manager was out the front presumably waiting for me (as he greeted me by name), and I was ushered in and introduced to the attractive guys that would be attending to me. I firstly had a mani/pedi then a facial then a haircut. It was quite relaxing to be pampered. Cost THB 1500. Afterwards I went to Prime to make an appointment for either that night or the next day but turns out they had an appointment available in 25 minutes so I went back to the hotel for a bit then went back to Prime for my 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai which is my favourite combination. High quality as usual. Walked around Silom a little, had dinner at Bon Chon at Silom Complex, and later went to Dreamboys where I got to see their new premises for the first time. I had been there before but when it was Lucky Boys. Sat up the back (my preferred seating) watched the show for a bit, saw my favourite dreamboy to which he noticed me, came over, we caught up and went back to the hotel together. It was getting late at this stage so by the time we finished having fun he said 'good night' and that is how my first accidental long time eventuated. I much prefer short time, but because I had offed him a few times in the past it was fine. Other things I did in Bangkok included walking around Lumpini Park, eating at Sunrise Tacos on soi 4 (which was quite nice), Somtum Der (also very nice), went to Senso for the first time where I had a great time - most of the guys there are hunks, but I ended up choosing a guy who was more of a twink because as he was super attractive. Went up what seemed to be never-ending stairs, showered separately beforehand, the massage was fine and the afters were quite good - his dick was shaped nicely and hit all the right spots. Showered together afterwards, and exchanged line details. Would definitely repeat, not cheap though. The premises/ambience was quite nice. Also went to Dreamboys again, this time earlier in the evening to do a short time with my favourite so that he could be back in time to do the show. Sent him off with some goodies from 7-11 that I couldn't take with me. Trip back home By this time I was feeling quite unwell and just wanted to get home so I could recover. But alas, it was not meant to be. Turns out that I somehow had mixed up the time of my return flight and only realised my mistake when I was on the train to the airport and the flight had already departed. I talked to a few staff but nothing much could be done, so I tried to book another flight from my phone and was nearly successful apart from when I had to provide the 'one time password' which is sent to my regular number (I had a travel SIM in my phone at the time), so swapped SIM cards to get the code, and swapped back and by that time the whole thing had timed out, so I gave up and decided to go to the airport hotel (which was very nice, but cost an arm and a leg) and deal with it all later. Under normal circumstances I would have just jumped back onto the slut bus back to Silom and continued my holiday for a bit longer, but I was just not feeling it. So after checking in and having something to eat, I searched around for a suitable flight, found one which departed a few days later and booked it. What I decided to do in the days leading up to the flight (inspired by Vinapu) is stay at some different hotels along the airport rail link. Hotels First up was the Baiyoke Sky Hotel (which is close to Ratchprarop station). It is very tall and I stayed on the 67th floor. The view was amazing (although the room I got only had 2 small windows, rather than a floor to ceiling view, maybe I chose the wrong room type), but that is all that is going for it to be honest. The hotel was a little tired and probably needs some renovation. It was quite roomy though. Next stop was the Nasa Hotel (which was near Ramkhamhaeng station). The reviews were not very good, but I decided to try anyway. I booked the most expensive room type and when I got there, I was wondering if this is the most expensive, then what would the cheaper rooms look like? Anyway, it was only for a night and I just wanted to try. And finally the next hotel was The Silver Palm Wellness Resort (near Hua Mak station). This was quite nice actually. It was like a resort style nestled in the middle of a bustling city. Finally the next day I caught my flight successfully on Cathay Pacific. The lounge at Suvarnabhumi was not open so I got to use the KLM lounge which was not amazing, but okay. The lounge in Hong Kong was very very nice though. I made it home finally, and recovered well and decided maybe not to go to Thailand for at least a year. However, that idea was short-lived as I will now be there next month lol. I'm going to do it better this time and enjoy myself more!

    Respite from northern heat

Last week I decided to escape the heat in northern Thailand and enjoy a few days in the heat of Pattaya and Bangkok. Firstly a shout out for Mikes Taxi for the Bkk to Pattaya trip - never a problem with bookings and from my few experiences on time and very good service. Only 2 days in Pattaya - i enjoyed time at a very quiet Dongtan Beach athough my no.79 beach massage man was around both days. At night i visited Nice Boys, Toy Boys and XBoys. The latter has a show which included one explicit final act - a handful of customers. Always amazed at the stamina of star performer Bang. Toy Boys had several asian customers including several females, one of whom delivered 20 thb tips to the stage boys. At least 20 boys. No. 77 from Myanmar and No. 85 from Cambodia were delightful company. I find the stare gazing technique of some of the lads a little amusing. Much prefer the aloof get me out of here look more appealing 😃. Nice boys had at least 10 boys - all willing to show their wares.Must admit that this visit was much more enjoyable than my sombre previous visit a few months before. More life in the boys and less intrusion from staff. That area seems to be the place to go for middle eastern food Also squeezed in a night massage at Paradise Spa in Boyztown area. Then to Bangkok - 2 massages at different Olivia locations - both good and extras on offer. Coffee at Coffee Gindr Silom which is very pleasant. My florentine biscuit was delicious. Visits to Dreamboys and Screwboys. Dreamboys has lots of men on stage covering all preferences - my friend working there pointed out a guy on stage who is 50 - ripped and could easily leave his footwear outside my room. The show has lots of ladyboy lipsyncers - the best parts for me are the energetic coyote dancers and the bearded strongly calved (which I admired and felt) performer. Men on stage dressed in white shorts. My old favourite Screwboys - stage lads in white basketball outfits with some shirtless. Prefer the old previous blue and white briefs/ boxers🙂. Busy the 2 times I went with most seats taken - lively atmosphere. More than happy with my Laos companion who was recommended by mamasan. Drinks 350 thb off fee 500thb. Back again in a few months and visit places missed this visit - Arena, Freshboys, Super A, and revisit others 😄

    Triggering Memories?

Doing some very late Spring cleaning this morning, I came across a Bangkok Gay Guide for June 2007. I believe these were printed monthly and given out free in most of the go-go bars and other gay venues. Usefully Bangkok was split up into various sections to make it easier to find venues.Equally usefully each sub-map has a box with the main venues listed in them. It is not always easy to locate them but if you look closely they are there. I have tried to take photos of several with my phone. I see that Soi Twlight was listed under its proper name, Soi Pratuchai. Sad to see how many are closed. Yet some still survive even if not in the same locations.

  7. Moonlight on Wed just before show about 1/2 full, quite a few new and attractive at that, boys. New model Jack not nervous anymore. Did not stay for the show because guy I wanted to off was there, decided to grab him and run. Thursday morning some idiot left his phone at Foodland. That idiot was me. It pays to be loyal and well known customer as when returned soon after realizing my day pack is somewhat light they waved at me smiling. So did I, no doubt. Needs to be said losing phone has advantages as one of boys I met is literally bombarding me with messages of how great I'm like I don,t know that myself. Surprisingly sparse crowd in soi 4 in the evening, despite of dry weather. Hot Male at 11.pm, few spectators inside but surprisingly even less boys. Seems plenty were offed as can, t believe that many were no shows. Unfortunately none of those left appealed to my heart and upon entry I had at least 6 in mind as possible offs so it looks it was good evening for their boys.

  9. While eating at Shenanigans on Surawong (corner Patpong One), waitress who remembered us from now closed Paddy Field (next to Foodland) stopped by table to say hello. Paddy. Field was run by same manager of popular Shenanigans. One of the classic lady bars of Patpong Two, Black Pagoda, appears to have closed. It was the only venue with a bridge that spanned the soi. Passed Screw Boy at 11:12 last night and it seemed that the entire stable (sans those serving customers inside or those who’d been already offed) were lounging around outside after show. It was an impressive and lively group.

  10. My partner really likes living in Seattle. He has not been the least bit homesick. Nevertheless, we will return for a month in November just to get back in personal touch with friends and family. Seven plus years since we left Thailand. Will we be shocked?

  12. Thanks in particular for the photos...you chose wisely. I'm probably something of a bore about Agate but we love that place. The rooms are smaller than we'd like but well appointed -the lack of a comfortable chair seems to be de rigueur even in more expensive hotels nowadays- but the staff....so friendly and helpful. As for Tarntawan, I cannot pretend to be objective but I've stayed there on about sixty occasions- about forty as a couple- and find its location unbeatable. including it's lack of noise from Surawong. With prices generally going-up, these hotels remain excellent value.

  16. "Do gogoboys working in gogoboy bars receive salary from the bar, or is their income primarily derived from customers who purchase drinks, provide tips, and engage in sexual services with them?" I have asked many go go men about this. My understanding is that most bars pay a small amount (eg 150bt) to regular men who turn up at say 8pm and stay until the close, as long as they do not get off'd. If they get off'd by a customer they lose the 'salary'. Often, if a go go man has a customer and fails to turn up the next night they will be fined the off fee (eg 500bt) because the bar presumes they are still with the same customer.

  17. Forgot to add, drinks at Freshboys 400. Yesterday visited Dreamboys, drink 500, boy drink 400. 3 rotation of boys about 12 per rotation but unfotrunstely it ,s just a number.when comes to selection I,d not be sure I entertain option of offing 3 if that much, in fact only attractive to me tired eyes was #11. Rest it,s choice between out of shape, obese, bad teeth or ready to retire. I,m exagerrating.but not really that much And extremely loud music to add to experience. Half an hour here was enough.

  32. Half right half-vaxx. Let’s back this up. The OP never had an issue with your content. Lurking trolls will spread shade at any opening they can get and where the shade lands is usually random and often peculiar. Like the flavour of the week. They may be inclined to misappropriate the true provenance of terms such as ‘ugly American’. Narcissistic scammers within the lurking troll community will declare a vigilante stance over the most droll occurrences, putting forward implausible deniability about MO. In this case we see an open admission from such a narcissist S that his selectively gunning for somebody R was that, via hearsay, a third party, B presumably as B is the most likely candidate (besides T and F the only others possible otherwise, having personally crossed paths with R) didn’t particularly like somebody he eventually crossed paths with, R, with whom a positive exchange over months previously lead to a meet-up for a meal. Historically, S is a bitch on wheels with R and prone to amateurish diagnostic formulation. This is ironic considering R’s status. S openly described legitimizing his insane belligerence by attempting to distance himself from obvious manifestations of narcissism attributed to him. His source B was somehow cloned and evidently a series of mitosis yielded an enormous grouping of persons throwing shade on R. Delusions abound. S also declared personal contact with R in a mutual setting, a contact that never occurred but was fabricated scam-grade in a desperate manipulative attempt to self-justify his pejorative impressions. High-grade manipulative weaponry is the hallmark of a narcissist. S’s ground-bound cape progressively shredded owing to R’s astute grasp of reality, S then misanthropically appropriated the shenanigans of L(J), U, and M, themselves narcissistically inclined, related to their inappropriate cunty assertions that a member on another board and R, here, are the same person. S having done this is reflected to R by a friend as R is not want to view the toxic material of a flagrant narcissist. This sad ungentlemanly behaviour, now reported on two boards and under review, also reeks of implausible deniability and what we see is the representation of a few pathetic jackasses slithering about and a few small-minded minions getting sucked in by them. R doesn’t have a pressing need for allies and interprets lack of open board empathy as reflective of understandable distance stance from conflict, not as cowardice. R has a backchannel support system here and a radius of personal social support. Getting back to B; B, an inveterate scammer himself, would have wondered why R’s demeanour changed when on to the scam. B is not well. R has known and worked with others that impersonate various high-profile professions. An abrupt change in R-B dynamics and desperation by B to maintain his scam seems to be the source of the aspersions cast upon R and that form the basis of S’s narcissistic ammo. My friend tells me that a few out of control maniacs here may have identifying info about R they are open to sharing. Nobody here would consent to it and if being held hostage is not grounds for a ban, what is? These assertions (by S? others?) are, well you get the picture. These last few assumptions are less verifiable because R never openly confronted B and R can only assume that S’s reference to a young person is B. R’s friend described that S has declared a cadre in type and age of members that have labelled R as creepy, unhinged, mentally unwell. B may be sociopathic and an in-person encounter was what flipped the lid off the black box of his fabrications. R has never shared B’s ID or handle. B had staked a claim to a bizarrely vast set of professional credentials and affiliations. R, himself a high profile academic, cannot fathom why B thought R so naïve. B apparently catfishes locals with fraudulent social capital. B is charming on the surface and it is sad that B cannot just be himself. R has no desire to harm B but referencing him is essential in elucidating the well-established history of S’s derogatory and condescending commentary. In some ways, B and S should just get a room. However, two personality disorders fellows would not fly well, inn’t. B and R have a lengthy recorded text history. If B were to have breached boundaries, not surprising for a characterologically unhinged fellow, and as my friend has suggested when reading the thread, the Hiroshima/Nagasaki fallout would be such that the person most likely to brush off the ashes and walk away is R, make no mistake. R has all the goods, has B’s ‘number’. Openly disclosing info about R is forbidden. A written record of slander/libel now exists. A statement of blackmail lives on the board. Guess who is in control. R’e assumptions about B are presumptive and R reserves definitive judgement but Hakim’s Razor is often a solid guiding principle. R has not revealed B’s identity and would wish to be judicious in this regard. However, R would welcome any concrete record of what was said about R behind R’s back, and if in conjunction with ID, that has taken things to a very different level. T and R are friends. F may be somebody that can grow on R, an acquired taste taken in small doses, but runs in many directions. One can take or leave F and he can be inflammatory according to some of his content. R can handle F as F is well, basic, basic and at heart a good guy, maybe? B is out of the picture for years but it appears lives in perpetuity vis-a-vis S’ batch of flimsy slings and arrows. R has no interest in a connection with L(J), U, or M. S is somebody R wouldn’t give the time of day to but S certainly applies for such time and attention relentlessly. S is the most interesting from an academic viewpoint, a scratching post rehearsal for the exigency of how-to manuals related to co-existing among social media trolls. S is not definitively a narcissist and R has described impressions but a formal diagnosis is deferred and is not R’s role or prerogative. It’s just social media Board, and perceptions are, as such, subject to limits. So, scammer is an apt term as put forward by HV. Coke merely a metaphor for insatiable attention-seeking cravings. Coke is corrosive. Don’t drink the coke. R would not drink coke between clinically related expert witness testimony breaks.

  34. Falling in love with a customer is a difficult concept! The boy could have affection for you especially if you are providing him money, but if no money, no chance of love. Of course the customer will often fall in love with the boy, it happens to many of us. Best to tread lightly, enjoy the moment and do nothing rash.

Visited Screboys yesterday with another member right after they opened for a night. At least 16 boys on duty already. All twinky but some bit better built. At least 3 offable for me, #26 looked the best and was subject of vinapu tuck of 100 baht note. Did not show, any resistance. Boys in boxers, most bareceted, drink 350 Then went upstairs to Freshboys, right in time for show to begin. At least 20 boys on duty, best looking shockingly also #26. At least 6 acceptable for possible off. Show progressive, simulated sex but cock certainly not simulated, stimulated, possibly by machine, for sure though. Big cock show with parade of solicitors of feel for a tip. 8 participants. Sexy shower number. At least 20 spectators in the beginning with more arriving later. One spectator, nice chested and seriously drunk tried to imitate vinapu tuck after seeing how it, s done distributed at least 12 red notes, some using mouth to mouth technique. It was fun.

  41. OP: Interesting about the wonders of Brazil etc. However, for those of us living in Asia the time and cost of a return trip from say for eg Bangkok to Rio is sky high. Plus, each leg of the journey involves a couple of days travelling. So, whatever the better prices in Brazil the cost and travel time getting there is a deterrent.

  42. Hi guys, I'm on the plane heading back to London with 11 hours to kill so thought I'd use the time to share my thoughts on my first ever trip to Brasil. I hope it proves useful to someone who may soon be going for the first time, or anyone who cares to read it. Sorry if it's a bit long-winded but feel free to stop reading if you lose interest haha! For context I spent 5 days in SP and 4 days in Rio. Consider this trip an early 30th birthday present to myself lol. Sao Paulo Arriving in Guarulhous was straight-forward and without issue. Despite countless Taxi offers, I couldn't resist paying 4.40 reals for a train ticket to downtown Paulista. Plus the weather was great and I got to see the surroundings. FYI, the ticket offices for the metro only take cash or Brazilian debit cards. On average Brazilians are much better looking than your average westerner (no offence) and within an hour of landing I was already drooling over some heavenly specimens. l don't know if its the genes, the food, the weather, the mix of indingenous cultures or all of the above, but they"re clearly doing something right. Alot of Brazilians also seem to have very good teeth, both natural and veneers. After checking in to my airbnb in Avenida Paulista, I took a shower and explored the local surroundings. In the sunshine Paulista Avenue really is a sight to behold. I'd made prior arrangements with a hunk from garotolocal, potentially risky I know, but along with all the positive reviews and the security measures at the Airbnb I decided to go for it. Despite not having any issues myself, I would recommend sticking to saunas initially until you have some trustworthy connections. A few Brazilians here told me about the potential risks of using sites, even trusted ones. If you must use sites, check reviews, instagram, only fans, etc for evidence of an online presence. I booked an airbnb that was ok with visitors so I would have no awkward issues. Being super paranoid, I also removed any potentially dangerous items out of sight - sharp cooking utensils, irons, broomsticks etc I would also recommend hiding your passport and other belongings or putting them in a safe if available. I also let the garoto know beforehand that the apartement has security and is full of cameras for both our protection just in case they try anything dodgy. Security out of the way, Mr X arrives. Beautifully proportioned muscular frame with tanned caramel skin, arms and pecs bulging through his tight army tshirt. He was perfect for me as I'm into muscle but not overblown steroid-type muscle e.g. Simeon Panda or The Rock etc. He slowly removes his shirt to expose the perfect amount of chest fuzz before moving closer to touch me, what a sight to behold. I won't go into the nitty gritty but let's just say it was a good first night haha. To make it even better, he accepts card! FYI the Pound GBP £ goes a veryyy long way here, I think it's around 6 reais to 1. And that's with the pound being weak at the minute. I would highly recommend Chase banking as they guarantee the mastercard rate of exchange on all card payments, as well as 1% cashback on all purchases, no withdrawal fees either although some Brazilian banks will charge you a small amount. Also FYI, if you're going to be 'passivo', make sure its clean down there as I've noticed a fair few Brazilian GPs have a habit of checking the condom after sex haha. Brazilians in general tend to be very clean and hygienic, the ones I came across at least. All of them to smell great and use mouthwash etc, especially if they smoke. The next day after doing a few touristy bits, I decided to head to Lagoa. If you're a foody and enjoy the arts, culture, restaurants, bars, museums etc then you really cannot beat SP. I enjoy sex but it wasn't the only reason for my visit to Brasil. Beyond Paulisita, SP is not the most aesthetically pleasing city but its full of charm and has something unique to do around every corner. I wouldn't have it any other way. Check out Ibirapuera park on a satuday morning/afternoon to see lots of white topless, hunky, sweaty middle-class brasilians going for a morning run lmao. I was really nervous heading into Lagoa as I'd never been to any kind of sauna before and had no idea what to expect. I got changed into a towel and began to explore. At first it wasn't explicity obvious to me who was a GP and who wasn't (except for the guys stroking their dicks in a corner for all to see). Without trying to brag - I promise - I am in pretty decent shape and was approached by guys who either thought I was a GP, or they knew I was a client like them but wanted to try their luck regardless. And to be fair, there were some sexy customers too! Next tip, as you probably know, learn some portuguese before you come here, at least the basics. Ideally, invest in a language course, I definitely will get some lessons before my next trip. I can't emphasise this enough, especially for emergencies as google translate may not always be available, nor will it always be safe to pull your phone out. English really does not cut it here in around 85% of situations. I am by no means fluent but I spent about 3 weeks beforehand learning the basics. I do speak French so this was a massive help in terms of vocab and sentence structure etc, lots of words are very similar. Knowing Spanish is better than knowing English, but again invest in learning portuguese. Plus, I get the vibe Brazilians don't really like it when you expect them to speak Spanish - so yeah, learn Portuguese. It will also make your experience 10x more enjoyable. In terms of Lagoa, due to previous posts on here I had lowered my expectations. However as it was my first time I had nothing to compare it to and went with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised, there was a mix of everything from muscular brazilian jocks, to bodybuilders on steroids to athletic swimmer body guy next door types, to slim twinks. There really was something for everyone. If you're into pure muscle then it doesn't beat 117 in Rio (will discuss Rio in a separate post hopefully) but you'll still find a few decent studs here to make it worthwhile. I am quite shy and had no intention of approaching anyone. The best I could muster was a smile and an extended gaze when walking past someone hot. I got myself a drink and made my way upstairs and awkwardly sat in a small side area where some straight porn was playing on a big-screen TV. One or two average GPs approached but I politely declined. Then after about 15 minutes, I made eye contact with a stunning muscular beauty, dark brown maroon skin, about 6 ft 2, looks around 25 - 30 years old, abs with some fur that could literally grate cheese, beefy pecs that you could squeeze and kiss for eternity, perfectly proportioned arms - amazing. For me this was the peak of muscular beauty - not too steroidy - just right. My absolute limit would be Joao Humberto, the gogo dancer who frequents Lagoa, even though he is clearly juicing I still find him insanely sexy. After making eye contact with the guy and smiling, he smiles back and comes to sit next to me. He doesn't actually say anything initially for about 2 minutes. I work out that we're both quite shy. After a couple of minutes he speaks.... 'how are you doing?'... in English. Either he knows I'm a foreigner or he's overheard me speaking broken portuguese somewhere in the sauna lmao. We chat for around 5 minutes with a mix of basic english, portuguese and google translate. Then the moment of truth, he starts bouncing his bulging pecs and asks me if I like what I see. I was sold at this point and there was no going back. This guy is very smooth. Some Brazilians guys really are naturally very charming. He is top and asks for 200 reals. I agree without hesitation and we make our way to a room. Again I'll leave the nitty gritty to your imagination but lets just say he took my number and we had another a session the following day haha Brazil really is amazing! After the session he heads home as he has a fair way to go. I go back to the bar feeling a bit more relaxed. I'm approached by an athletic mixed guy, not my type at all but he's persistent and I'm happy to entertain his chat. Btw I am being deliberately vague as to the personal details of the guys purely out of respect and their discretion. Long story short, me and the guy end up chatting for about an hour like two old friends. We're of a similar age and have similar interests. He's actually straight and only does sauna work to help support his family. I tell him that we're buddies and a programa isn't going to happen but I give him some money to help him out with some personal things. We exchange numbers and he becomes my defacto tour guide of SP over the next few days. He even drives me to a (straight) whorehouse in downtown Republica, very seedy lol. Be very careful if you go to Republica in the evening, or even getting into cars of unknown people. I took a risk here. I hate labels but if we have to use one, you could call me bisexual. We both enjoy the same girl at the brothel for only 40 reais each. A cute carioca from Rio with a big bunda (ass)! Another word of caution, especially in the context of GPs both inside and outside the sauna, they will always have a sob story and will continue to beg for your financial aid. It did become really onerous (especially in Rio) so just be careful and don't let people take advantage of you. I had to block one or two GPs from Rio because the begging just got more and more ridiculous, not to mention rude. It was clear they were only interested in money. A part of me feels sorry for them as life is tough over there. I went to a friend's place in Ipanema and his living conditions honestly broke my heart. I believe he was paying alot per month for the luxury of a shoe-box room with a shared bathroom and toilet. Tbf the view of Ipanema beach was great. I'm told by Brazilians that the average monthtly salary in Brazil is around 1000 to 1500 reals for blue collar work, and around 3000 reals for a working professional. Lots of them seem to have side hustles to supplement their income. From a money perspective we in the west sometimes don't realise just how fortunate we are. On the other hand, there is a correct way of asking for things - to be clear I have no issue helping out GPs in genuine need if it's done with respect and good grace - don't take the piss and try to take advantage of me. Any decent GP asking for money outside of their services will do so respectfully and is often embarrased to ask. They'll often say something like 'i'd appreciate anything you can help me with for X reason etc' In terms of GPs, I made some amazing new connections/friends in Brazil but only a small minority of these are not underpinned by a financial dynamic. Yes you can get free sex online, at bars, beaches etc but obviously its way more effort and is not guaranteed. Furthermore, I am told (by Brazilians) that Grindr in Brazil is becoming increasingly dangerous so again be careful using it. The following day and another trip to Lagoa - after some more touristy stuff. This time I've got my GP buddy with me as a wingman haha. Obviously I will tip him lol. Today I take a seat in the bar and watch some football (soccer) on the big screen upstairs. Brazil's under 21s are playing. I nip downstairs quickly to check something in my locker when I see the most delicious slice of white Brazilian hunk known to man. About 6 ft 1, massive shoulders, pecs, arms, creamy white skin and big full juicy red nipples, no signs of steroid use, what more could you ask for? His face isn't the best in the world but for that body I honestly don't care. We make brief eye contact but he seems to be chatting to another client. For now, he is the only guy on my radar. It's about 9pm and a few minutes later I see him putting his clothes back on in the changing room, my heart sinks as I think he's leaving. I head back upstairs to meet my GP buddy who seems to be struggling for clients recently. I tell him about the GP downstairs and he jets off to try and help me out. A few minutes later, my buddy comes back with the white hunk who could rival Hercules himself, my heart is racing. 'Obrigao irmao' I whisper to my wingman and tip him 50Reals. Hercules pulls me to one side and begins to chat in portuguese, I do my best to understand him but google translator is definitely needed. After brief small talk, I ask him how much he wants. '300?' he replies. I was hoping for less but no way was I about to negociate with this hunk and risk losing him. I agree and we head off to a cabin. The sex is decent, not amazing but it fulfills my fantasy of the hunky white personal trainer at the gym I've always wanted to bang. He's also a good kisser, as are all the Brazilian guys Ive been with, even the ones who are straight/Bi/top only etc. After a steamy session he tells me about his life and we discuss the gap between rich and poor in Brazil. He asks me if I'll be back tomorrow to which I reply 'yeah I should be' even though I was undecided at that point. We bid each other farewell and he leaves Lagoa for the night. After my encounter with Hercules, My GP buddy comes back to greet me. I thank him again for helping me out and we have a chat about gogo boys. He says it is possible to get one if you know the right people and he seems to be confident he can arrange it for me if the specific gogo boy was at the sauna. Other GPs also told me that gogo dancers are available for programas if approached discreetly and in the right way, but it goes without saying you will pay more. I did try contacting one or two on instagram but they have so many followers it's tricky getting them to even see your message. Alas, my dream of bedding Joao Humberto or Lipe remains alive, hopefully next time now that I have my wingman and some new tips. The following day, I'm all sexed out and I needed to get Ready for Rio. A GP/friend (a guy from a site i'd met a couple days ago for a quick session - yes risky I know) invited me to his place to smoke some weed in Vila Madalena. Under no circumstances would I ever suggest going back to a guy's place in Brazil unless you are 100% sure you know them well, especially in light of recent events at 117 in Rio. In hindsight this was probably a lapse of judgement but ironically this GP is now one of my few genuine friends where money doesn't dictate our relationship. He did have ID the first time I saw him and has a stable job, after sex we ended up speaking like old friends for hours. I trusted him somewhat then but now I trust him completely and we've made plans to travel to other parts of Brazil together next time. But I reiterate, under no circumstances should you go back to a guy's place unless you are 100% sure they can be trusted or you know them very well. It's just not worth taking the risk. Furthermore, make sure their building has security cameras and a concierge. I'm not really a smoker, but we had some weed at his place, some drinks and a bit of foreplay all before I headed off to the coach station to catch a bus to Rio! Another word of caution, there are young guys on Avenida Paulista riding around on bicyles stealing phones, bags, hats etc. I saw it happen to a gringo right outside Mcdonalds so be sure to keep your valuables out of sight and secure. I used a fanny pack which works pretty well. If you really need to use your phone, e.g. to check on an uber etc - do it quickly and keep your wits about you, ideally go into a shop, restaurant, shopping area etc. If none of these are nearby then stand up against a wall so you have no blindspots. You will get into the habit of being careful with your phone in Brazil. It's such a contrast to London or other big western cities where you can safely be on your phone at every given moment in practically any given location. Most places take card but I would recommend having some cash to hand, especially because ATM/cash machines in SP are few and far between and they tend to close around 8pm (the ones inside the banks). Also most GPs only take Cash or PIX ( a Brazilian money transfer service which only Brasilians can use). Lastly, unless you want to destroy your Uber rating, don't slam the Uber doors lmao. The Ubers are also dirttt cheap out there. To sum up, I had a blast in SP and will defo be back either this year or early next year God willing. I hope somebody finds this report useful, when I get some time I will try and do one for Rio. Currently waiting for a connecting flight to London in Lisboa, damn they have some seriously hot Portuguese immigration officers here haha.

  43. i was staying in Rio de Janeiro in many airbnb appartments over several years. i never had problems with bringing guests in. if they were coming with me they were not checking their ID. if they came alone and i was waiting in the appartment the doorman checked their ID and called if it is ok to let them in. never a problem.

    Biden/Harris 2024????

I want an alternative to Biden, but I will absolutely vote for him if he's the democratic candidate. US elections have always been in my lifetime the lesser of two evils. Why would I expect it to suddenly change now?

  45. I can’t believe this is even a conversation. Tip service workers, you cheap ass muthafuckas. Especially in developing countries. Who cares if they ask or remind you about it? They work for so little. Take an extra roll of small bills to the saunas with you and use them for tips. If breaking a 50 reais ($10 USD) into smaller bits and disseminating it to those who provided you a non-sexual service is going to break you, then maybe you shouldn’t be traveling or even leaving your house at all.

  46. my prescription to avoid such situations is : wear multipocketed shirt and trousers / shorts spread your cash among those pockets, preferably with fixed amount in each leave your wallet in safe box in the room limit amount of cash you have on you to what you think you will spend before returning to your room plus tip for your possible companion that way even if one will be robbed , highly unlikely will lose everything not to mention bulky wallet clearly shows target to a potential thief so far served me well with one possible exception (not sure I lost 500 or got it stolen in crowded BTS ) I'm always amazed to see patrons paying their checks , pulling out wallets clearly packed with week's worth of spending money like there are no other ways to impress people around
