I often found Winner Bar to be a bit on the warm side and Nice Boys on the smokey side but i can tolerate that for the entertainment that is being provided. M Bar in Jomtien Complex has very cool air con and has been busy lately on these hot nights.

From CNBC Santos charged with money laundering, fraud, theft Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., was charged by federal prosecutors with an array of crimes, including fraud, theft, money laundering and making false statements. Santos was arrested Wednesday morning and is currently in custody, the Department of Justice said. His arraignment was set for Wednesday afternoon in federal court in Long Island, New York. “This indictment seeks to hold Santos accountable for various alleged fraudulent schemes and brazen misrepresentations,” U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said in a press release. “Taken together, the allegations in this indictment charge Santos with relying on repeated dishonesty and deception to ascend to the halls of Congress and enrich himself,” Peace said. The 13-count indictment alleges Santos spent campaign funds on luxury clothing and car payments, fraudulently received more than $24,000 in unemployment benefits and reported false income and asset data on House disclosure forms.

I'll be heading to Hong Kong in two weeks. Have only been there once in 2014, though I stayed for a good amount of time. Quite excited to go back as I really had a great in there. My first time I went to around 5 different saunas, though I remember the name of just three of them. Based on that experience and doing some research on different websites, I'm listing the names ana d a description of some of the numerous (probably one of the highest in Asia) gay saunas in Hong Kong: Central Escalator (HK island) - remembering reading so much about this sauna before heading to HK the first time. It was supposed to be the place where the young rice queens of HK would hang out. However, got pretty disappointed when I visited. It's quite small and it was almost all elder guys, both Westerns and locals. Remembering leaving after only 20-25 minutes. Still see positive reviews about it online but I think I'll skip it this time. Hutong (Kowloon) - this was described as the best sauna of HK where the young and beautiful would go on weekends and it really was. Had a blast both times I went there. The guys were young and hot and would get pretty wild in the dark corners. It had the reputation of refusing entrance to old or out-of-shape guys. However I read in a personal blog that from 2016 or so they stopped doing that as they actually wanted to maximize their profit. Having a more mixed crowd left some of the younger guys unhappy and they started heading to other saunas like Big Top (now closed and My Way Sauna which also offered big discount to younger guys. Looks like the competition made Hutong also match that discount as the price for guys U-27 is only 55HKD and for those U-33 only 99HKD. The reviews say that the crowd is still good on weekends, so I plan to go there at least once. they don't have any theme night. Chaps (HK island) - I remember it was a cute two-floors high sauna mostly frequented by young professionals, so mostly guys in their early 30s. Read that now it's just one floor and continues to attract the same crowd. I think I'll skip this time. My Way (HK Island) - seems to be the favorite sauna for young twinks as guys u-28 pay only 50HKD. They have theme nights every night and seems like naked Sundays are really popular. However, different sites agree that there is a big sticky rice vibe in there even though they don't refuse entrance to foreigners. Planning to go at least once, at least just for the eye candy, though I should be prepared for rejections. Gateway (HK Island) - the reviews praise the level of facilities and its cleanness a lot. Seems to have a very mixed crowd when it comes to age and foreigners are warmly welcomed. No theme nights. Plan to go at least once. Soda (HK Island) - this one has to have the most opposing reviews I have encountered. A lot say it has the biggest dark room in HK and it's clean, others say it's small and describe it as dirty (there were mentions of people getting beaten by bedbugs). Most agree that it attracts a large enough crowd, including young people. There are also a few strange reviews about the behavior of the owner towards white guys. Seems like he is a bit of a rice queen and kind hits on most of the white guys going to the saunas and gets quite unhappy when getting refused. He and his staff then gets quite towards the guy. Same behavior applies also to the Asian guys that meet the white guy and some say he even refuses entrance to locals he knows are into white guys. People say also there are security cameras in the cruising areas. Undecided for now if I will go once or not. Colony, Galaxy and QQ - three saunas that attract mostly older guys. Planning to skip. If anyone of you guys have been to these saunas or have heard about it, feel free to add your review. The research and presentation of their lives was illuminating. It helps to understand how and why they got to this point in their lives. Troubling, as well.

Lets look at candidate motivation. I truly believe Biden wants to serve to HELP our country and its citizens in need. On the other hand, Trumps motivation is political cover against criminal prosecution. Is there really a conscious choice here between these 2 candidates ? One wants to serve, the other wants to stay out of jail.... If you take age out of the equation for most SANE folk, the choice would be a no-brainer. Would I like to see a new age of candidates ? YES, but it is what it is and we should make the choice that makes most sense for our ideology and the well being of our country and Democracy.

But you kind of said there is none. I inserted the word VOTERS in there because that's the issue. The weird thing is VOTERS are saying two things at the same time. First, we don't want Biden and Trump. Second, we do want Biden and Trump. 😯 The explanation is that there are two different groups of voters. If there were a primary of Independents only, someone other than Biden or Trump might win. I'm not even sure of that. But in a Republican primary, Trump will win. In a Democratic primary, Biden will win. The Republicans did actually encourage candidates to come forward for the last 2 years. Why? Because Trump lost in 2020. So DeSantis came forward. Haley came forward. Pence came forward, and others. And yet, somehow, in one recent poll Trump is up 60 % in a Republican primary. How did that happen? I think it is Republican VOTERS. Blame it on them. You're of course right that no Democrats (other than marginal ones like Kennedy) have announced they are running. But that it because Biden is the incumbent. Just as important, if any of these other big stars did announce, they would lose. So Gavin Newsom could announce and run against Biden. And, if the polls are right, he'd lose badly. Gretchen Whitmer, also discussed a lot given how well she did in Michigan, could announce. And she would lose. So is the idea that Governors or Senators or Sanders, who polls say would lose, should become candidates, so they will lose? Unless I am missing something, it sounds like you want a robust primary, like 2020. Great. But then Biden will win it, like in 2020. That is what the polls say will happen. The only problem with that is that you quoted someone above saying Trump is is "characterologically unfit," to be President. Which IMHO is putting it mildly. So in practice what it sounds like you're saying is maybe we should have a Democratic primary like 1980. Which the incumbent will win. But which will weaken him. Which will help elect Trump. I'm not dismissing the issue of Biden's age. It is clearly the elephant in the room. And everybody is actually talking about it, including you. But voters in both primaries are still saying loud and clear that, regardless of who else runs, we're going to nominate Biden and Trump. So it's not clear to me what you think "party leaders" in either case should do. They seem to mostly be accepting the will of the VOTERS, whether they like it or not. About half a dozen GOP Senators were on TV yesterday after the Trump abuse verdict saying he's unelectable in 2024. But some of them pretty much said that this is what voters in my party want. What should they do? The best theoretical solution I can think of to the problem, as you state it, is a national jungle primary. Like in California. If there were enough Independents, who in theory outnumber Democrats and Republicans, maybe some third person could emerge. Like a Ross Perot. The 1992 election was, in effect, a jungle primary. But even then Perot came in third. In practice, even if we could just decide to have a jungle primary - which we can't - most Independents would likely lean toward either Trump or Biden. Which is exactly what will happen, anyway. There's a word for it, by the way. Democracy. 😉

Santos already in Federal custody TODAY after being charged in a 13 count indictment ..... including seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives. Now, doesnt it make you wonder WHY its taking so long to nab Trump, after all the forward facing evidence, much of it coming directly from Trump. ? Still gives me doubt the DOJ is willing to bring out the big guns with Trump ? It will be the biggest travesty IF he is not charged by Fani and Jack.

In a surprisingly shameful and disgraceful move, CNN, the formerly left-leaning news platform has invited the former, twice impeached, once indicted (so far), convicted sex ABUSER on the network for a specially "curated" Town Hall, in which Trump will be free to spew all his angry, hateful lies and insults. Its an unprecedented turnaround for the network, that explains the move by saying that Trump is important in the political arena, and every Candidate has a right to have their say.. No doubt, Trump has specified that he has to "approve" every question, and every answer will be designed to make the ex Insurrectionist look his Orange best. So basically, this will be the Trump Show. In giving Trump this "gift" of airtime, CNN is basically giving legitimacy to the con man which they hadnt done before, and I am afraid this action will DUPE the CNN viewer into believing that CNN is supporting Trump. Nevertheless, we know what to expect from Trump, but we dont know how this will land with Independent voters. It airs TONIGHT. Will you be watching ?
