Will US Justice Clarence Thomas Finally Get His Comeuppance?
JKane and 3 others reacted to Marc in Calif for a topic
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) Ginni Thomas has reassured the American people that she is doing everything in her power to keep her husband’s mounting ethical issues from interfering with her work on the United States Supreme Court. Acknowledging that her husband’s controversies were a “distraction,” Thomas said, “They shouldn’t keep me from doing the important work I was sent here to do.” “There are reproductive rights to shred and environmental protections to erase,” she said. “Regardless of the mess Clarence has gotten himself into, I need to keep my focus.” Calling her post as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court “a job I’ve loved for the past three decades,” Thomas said, “I’m hopping mad that Clarence would do anything to jeopardize that. But anyone who thinks that I’m giving less than a hundred per cent to my work doesn’t know what Ginni Thomas is made of.”4 points -
Shameless Mack in Saigon

Starting with this newly uploaded post Saigon in the heat of April, there will be a series of reviews of five massage places in Saigon (Ho Chi MInh City) on my blog. It may take a few days for each of the rest of the posts to come up because I am still putting finishing touches onto them, in between catching up on work. It was a rather last-minute escapade. I found myself with a relatively free week and decided I would use it "productively". Since it had been at least 10 years since my last visit to Saigon, it was time to re-acquaint myself with this city.3 points -
The traditional Buddihst Songkran

Has anyone been fortunate enough to experience the traditional ceremonies for Songkran, still practised in many areas of the country? I find the visits to elderly relatives, the sprinkling of water and the delight that is visible on the faces of the recipients touching....if only we showed similar respect here in the UK.3 points -

I would expect such a dismissive response about cultural differences in sexual identity from an aging white American snap queen. That train is never late. it’s so on brand for Western culture to believe that their identity is the only one that matters.3 points -

I think this is something that many people on these forums don't want to accept. Yes, they ARE relatively wealthy compared to the locals with whom they usually interact. "But I'm NOT wealthy," they'll complain. Yeah, you are -- compared to those around you. Accept your privileges and all the benefits that go with them, and stop complaining about slight price differences.3 points -

Sex tourism is alive and well in Mexico, all parts of Mexico ... small villages and big cities, and frequently at times and in places where you would least expect it. It can be impulsive on the part of the local, and 'time is of the essence'. Let the opportunity pass you by and it's your loss! But, yes, our opportunities for sexual recreation is unequaled, in Rio. I don't often see online GPs in Mexico City I'm attracted to. I prefer cruising the 'street scene' more than I do perusing the professionals. I'm about to turn 74, my cancerous prostate was removed ... and my sex drive and abilities are different today than they were 40 or 50 years ago when I had all my parts. I'm resigned to my 'facts of life' and I have solace that during the first 60 years of my life my sex life was ... outstanding. BKK, Rio, Moscow, Marrakech, London, Dublin, Tokyo, Paris, Cannes, Bejing, Hong Kong, etc., I fucked and sucked my way around the world. I'm blessed to still maintain friendships with individuals going back 65 years, or less ... and there's no sex that'll satisfy me more.2 points -

I could not say it is corporate, but a relatively wealthy visitor complaining about paying six extra bucks sounds greedy and gross.2 points -
They might believe that tourists eat more (or waste food) than locals. If we don’t like it, we could take our business elsewhere. I think that the cardinal mistake is calling it a local/Thai vs. farang/tourist price. People might not mind it as much if the price was presented as regular and discount (for locals, seniors, military, etc.)2 points

Tucker Carlson, Racist Supreme
stevenkesslar reacted to Suckrates for a topic
Tucker Carlson, a FAUX newscaster at Fox was transparent as hell the other day after the reinstatement of the 2 Tenn. black Congressman..... He removed any mystery or question to to his blatant RACISM by referring to one of the gentleman (the one with the 60's Fro, that sounds like MLK) as a "sharecropper". And there you have it people, the real Tucker Carlson.... Should the public insist he be taken off the air ? His continued and intensifying rhetoric is only widening the divide and increasing the danger amongst American citizens with different ideas of Equality......... Cant wait to see how Tucky performs at the Fox/Dominion trial ?1 point -
Pattaya’s oldest nightclub closes of its own accord
Travellerdave reacted to reader for a topic
From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Marine Disco at the height of its popularity. Marine Disco, which has graced Pattaya’s Walking Street for over 30 years, has finally bitten the dust according to reports by reliable gogo gurus Stickman’s Weekly Column and Dave the Rave. One of the largest music clubs on the strip, Marine Disco (pronounced Mal-ee in Thai) first opened during the 1970s Vietnam war and attracted large numbers of American servicemen on rest and recreation vacations. Some say the original location was in a different Pattaya venue. Marine Disco’s success continued into the 1990s as Walking Street appealed to newer markets of night owl travellers from Britain, mainland Europe and Australia. Columnist of the era, Bernard Trink, is believed to have coined the phrase “chicken farm” for the disco. But he was apparently describing the naive and hungry foreign customers rather than the smiling ladies on the dance floor or circulating round the seven billiard tables which were an unusual feature of the huge layout. In more recent years, Marine Disco began to lose popularity. Some said the location at the top of an escalator was a safety concern in case of fire, whilst others commented third gender persons had become too dominant under the flashing lights. But the key factor was likely the classy competition from neighboring clubs which have become more flashy and hi-tech with cream-of-the-crop DJs. The club even ceased to keep its Facebook page up to date. In the post-Covid environment, the foreign clientele of Walking Street also appears to be changing. In 2023, it appears to appeal mostly to Asian vacationers whilst the traditional customers such as holiday Brits are congregating on Soi Buakhao and Soi L.K.Metro in a different area of the city. The consequences of the awesome pandemic for evening entertainment in Pattaya are still unfolding.1 point -

Tucker Carlson, Racist Supreme
alvnv reacted to Marc in Calif for a topic
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (The Borowitz Report) Fox News Channel’s much anticipated defamation trial was unexpectedly delayed after the network’s anchors required five hours to have their makeup done. Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, both expected to testify during the proceedings, were behind closed doors having what was described as “several substantial coats” of foundation, bronzer, and blush slathered onto their faces. Judge Eric Davis called the delay “unacceptable,” reminding Fox’s attorneys that the trial was not even being televised. But Dan Webb, Fox’s lead attorney, argued that, without their makeup, “Mr. Hannity and Mr. Carlson would be totally unrecognizable to the jury.” The trial suffered yet another delay when the anchors finally entered the courtroom and three jurors passed out from hair-spray fumes.1 point -
Rio de Janeiro, Spring Fuck 2023
KeepItReal reacted to Riobard for a topic
That’s somewhat alarming although likely doesn’t apply directly in this case. If it’s definitively a brothel venue the consent for transactional sexual play is baked in … yes means yes. In a more ambiguous setting with a different range of substance use, and a range of interaction that may also include the non-transactional, one would want to ensure the fellow is oriented to time, space, place, and more. To ensure the integrity of encounters and also not subsequently run into the risk of an accusation of impropriety, or less possible, a sting. The gender-centric trend of party-situated assaults aside, mishaps can happen.1 point -

117 is closed today (Monday) so I went to 202. Met up with @Latbear4blk. Had a couple of massages there. Also had a good time with a visiting ‘GP’ who only does programa outside of SP. Said he was activo only but during the session I asked if he is can be passivo. He said he will try, sat on it and it went in without lube (just his spits from BJ). I don’t think he is what he claims to be. Likes looking at himself in the mirror while getting railed and giving BJs. Will likely see him again either here or in SP next week.1 point -

I'd intended / wanted to be in Rio during that same period. I finally located an airfare (to Rio) that was palatable. Visiting Rio would result in pleasurable sex, more than I expect to encounter in Mexico City or here in Tampa Bay, FL. However, the determining factor for the choice of Mexico City is deep (non-sexual) friendships there. I have a 54-year long affinity with Mexico, including having lived in Mexico City previously. Friendships trump (no pun intended!) sexual escapades. So, I'll sacrifice the sex for the opportunity to maintain and enhance friendships. I'll try to get to Rio later this year.1 point

You made a declaration based on one observation of an apparent absolute cost discrepancy without a proportional differential. Therefore, we cannot know the true scope of your example because it lacks corresponding percentage terms. It may be 1%; some guys will enter a half marathon if it means the chance to swing by an ATM with a 1 buck exchange rate break. However, 1% in relativistic terms may equate to a difference that is more protest-worthy. It’s anybody’s prerogative to object to what they perceive as inequity, or to suck up same, or to reflect on how much privilege should enter the equation. You actually did not pose a question yet others answered a question as if you had. That’s the nature of social media. You’ll need to decide where it got you. Assumptions may be made about your capacity for flexibility and taking the bad with the good. A topic could have been initiated by anybody related to handling various observable cost discrepancies. The same circular discussion would have occurred whether the opener is neutral or not, whether or not you had added a position that set up polarization in viewpoint. Just look at the first sets of emojis for how these things go. That said, both unfairness and serendipity are baked into life but rarely in equal measure.1 point

Let's all just face the fact that THIS is our govt these days, corrupt and power hungry. And the more pressure put on the corrupt individuals, the more arrogant and vengeful they become.... So, we can only hope that todays youth is tomorrows saviors and can CORRECT all this shit, for THEIR sakes. They see clearly whats happening, and dont seem to want to bury their heads or turn their backs like the previous generation has done. If current Laws dont work to the benefit of American citizens, and hold corrupt ELECTED/APPOINTED govt officials accountable , THEN the laws MUST be changed to serve our changing country. These perps LAUGH at the people that put them in office. IF noone is above the LAW, then neither are Supreme Court Judges... Isnt it just Common Sense ?1 point

Barcelona (Thermas) 2019 latest recommendations
Marc in Calif reacted to Connordrick for a topic
yes, there was a construction at the bar level ( back of the bar) that was primarily rooms walls, but nothing major or disruptive I had such a great time, I am leaving Barcelona with nostalgia, I met several guys that not only were super hot but treated me very nicely. It is a Greek/Albanian guy that is kind of the Alpha in Thermas, he kept me on a tie leash - we always went to my room to have the best time, he was very affectionate and wild; he passed me around with the boys that he trusted would be my type and would treat me well. I kind of overdid it the last two days, and now I'm suffering the effects of having little sleep and a lot of sex (both harsh and tender). I'll miss the boy at Thermas, but I think I was lucky every day I attended. Between 5 pm and 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday, it was really busy. Many boys only work there on weekends. There are many Venezuelan boys, and I believe I have them all: four hot Venezuelan men of various mixed races, all of whom were stunning. I didn't realize how beautiful one of them was until I took him out to dinner; in the restaurant's lighting, you can either expect disappointments or wonderful surprises; however, with him, I was astounded by how attractive he was. His type was more akin to a middle eastern supermodel. I made another attempt to see him, but he only visits Thermas on Saturdays, and was unable to schedule a private meeting at my hotel. Something I noticed is that at least 6 guys from Thermas posted their ads on Hunqz all Sunday, most of them were guys from Saturday. then I didn't see their ads again. I only have one private in my hotel from Hunqz, a Colombian young boy with a lot of stamina. I am leaving Bcn, happy and nostalgic for the great guys i met during this trip. Once back home i will post more details. For now, I am exhausted and i need a vacation to recuperate from this vacation forgive my typos: tired and happy,1 point -
