  1. I went to Siam Square. Besides the usual mayhem, they had a series of floats. Young guys in wet white shorts are part of the floats and they put on a very sexy dancing display. Some delicious -looking bulges on display and the usual hot bodies. Heaven!

  3. It depends on many circumstances. In general, they would ask 200 to 300 for a home visit. If you hire a GP from a website, the fee will probably cover one hour. GPs from the saunas, in my experience, enjoy hanging out for many hours for the same price. Always remember, the relationships are transactional, do not believe anyone who tells you they are not. But the boys weigh the client's personality in the transaction. If you are an entitled asshole who treats them as objects, you will get much less for your dollars.

  4. Where did you hear that? They are not opening on Sundays and Tuesdays. Today was a great day. My favorite boy from last November (I met him at Pointe) came over and grilled a Carioca churrasco. He also brought me the goodies. I had not smoked since last Thursday, so even this low-quality pot makes its work. We had to do some shopping. This is what you get when a Brazilian boy cooks for a date of two. He surprised me as a master chef. He was bringing different cuts for me to try their temperature before dispatching the meat. It was delicious, although the only vegetables were in the vinaigrette. He came at 11:30 AM and left at 7 PM. He is an adorable 21 years old boy and father of a three years old menino. He went to play soccer. I stayed and needed a full hour to resuscitate. I am taking a break tonight, staying home. Tomorrow I plan to see the Instagram Boy, the one who so far delivered the highest quality sex. Hopefully, his visit will be shorter, and I will have the energy to go out and join my porn friend or, instead, join @buttercawan on an expedition to Meio Mundo. Let's see. I feel old, tired, and happy.

  5. Now THAT is the type of phrase that many straight people say about you and me. It is EXACTLY the type of phrase they've been using for decades about LGBTQ+ people. Can you show us on this doll where the bad man hurt you with the cis-male term? Did it ram into and smash your face? 😊

  6. If you were straight, you'd be the kind of guy who says "I honestly don't care about gays, but they should have no visibility whatsoever. They should have no rights and the government should not recognize them. They should not have a gay quarter in our cities , they should not have a pride, and their very existence should be hidden from everyone. Certainly no holding hands in public. They can maybe survive, but I don't want to see them, or hear about them". Essentially, you are not a homophobe, but only because you are gay. You would be one otherwise.

  7. I arrived back home after 202 about one hour ago. It was packed at about 6:30/7 PM. I arrived at 5:30 and in 20 minutes got my first programa. We did not have to wait for the room. My second programa was at 7:30ish, and we had to wait about 30/40 minutes. The first boy was the next-door type I like the most, but the sex was disappointing. My second boy was mainstream hot: tall, beautiful face, perfect harmonic muscular body, branco, but the sex was also slacking. I may call him again only because he is super hot and would give me great photos for my IG. I learned my lesson, and this time I tipped everyone proactively, the cleaning lady included. Also, I checked the bill, and it was accurate. I said that today I would be able to decide whether to switch fav sauna in RJ. I am not. It is a tough decision. Right now, I feel like calling the competition tie. I still have to check 117 on a non-free cabin day, contrasting to my previous Monday experience in 202. I wanted to go to the Jardim Botanico tomorrow, but my favorite boy from November is coming to spend the day with me. We will take advantage of the grill on my Airbnb terrace; he is over-excited about making churrasco for me. On Friday, I will be meeting the only guy who has delivered premium sex to me on this trip so far, the boy I met in 117 yesterday. By the way, I am constantly hearing rumors about 202 closing down. I do not think it is going to happen. Today my second programa was on the top floor, and I noticed they are remodeling. They removed the bar, placed a wall cutting that space in half, and are building more rooms behind it. They would not be investing that money if they were considering going out of business. We will have 202 for a long time, I think. PS: we hunted with @buttercawan again but missed @pauleiro.

  8. In the early 2000s I'd watch the web cam shows from the William Higgins place in Prague. I chatted a lot with the guy who worked behind the scenes operating the gear and moderating. He invited me to come by when I visited Prague once, it was pretty cool. Most of the Czech guys were so hot. Although as the moderator pointed out, everybody's ass looks the same in isolation from the rest of their body.

  9. I've seen Thai guys cum in customers' mouths on numerous occasions. I've also seen them cum in a customer's drink. I haven't witnessed a bukkake....yet. As the mama-san in Niceboys kept saying, "Welcome to Thailand. Everything OK!"

  10. The accounts of chuck-wow contests takes my memory back to my first visits to Sunee Plaza around year 2001. In particular the Kaos Gogo was the place for it where the “hat” was passed round for contributions following which naked boys (maybe 10 to 20) commenced wanking enthusiastically sometimes assisted by members of the audience. It seems the only survivor now of that scene is Nice Boys. I was in Pattaya a couple of months ago and visited NB twice looking for a boy LT for an off, ideally a top with slim rock hard equipment as these days I’m largely btm. . I didn’t off on either occasion. The first time there was few customers and little action just maybe a couple of guys playing with boys cocks and I only stayed for one beer. The second time I invited a rather attractive boy down to the bench where I tongue kissed him whilst wanking him for a fair while until a good load of cum spurted on the paper towel provided. I afterwards thought maybe I should have had him cum in my mouth but I’m not brave enough to do that in public - only in the loom. I tipped him twice - total of 400 plus a couple of boy drinks.

  14. I been coming to Medellin for the last 7 years and found a way to enjoy guys down here in a rathe different way. I love webcam boys they are sexually fluid, but they are also very heterosexual, but when you spend the money and time they are willing to please you and I feel I have had some of the hottest experiences down in Medellin with them. Sometimes I have to spend a little more money than if I was hooking up with regular boys in in dating apps. Usually I rent out a nice motel with jacuzzi and throw a party with 3 or 4 boys, usually in the webcam business and have so much fun and as the night goes they open up and get wild. I have always wanted to share that experience with other expats but don't know many other gay expats down in Medellin. I feel like it's safe for me since I took the time to know the crowd but now I know quite a bit of hot boys that love to party and the experience is pretty amazing. Has anyone here done something similar? Many men come down here and hang out with 5 or 6 girls in a penthouse and have the time of their lives so can't I do the same with some hot boys?

  16. I just spent 9 days in Japan, 3 days each in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka over Thanksgiving. I visited several Onsens and a couple of brothels. Just a quick heads up, as with many things in Japan, it is better to prearrange the boys online before rather than trying to pick one up on the day of or one day before. Tokyo Hot spring - I didn't go to any gay saunas this time, but went to an Onsen with natural hot spring that was supposed to have a lot of eye candy and some action. This one is in a commercial mall with indoor and outdoor pools https://www.ousama2603.com/shop/ooimachi/access.html. Very open space with limited area to play (probably in the steam room). However, there are many signs in Japanese (I can read a little bit) saying they will call the police if you behave suspiciously. I think they are trying to crack down on bad behaviors. I met a Taiwanese guy on another forum and he went to another hot springs in Shinjuku area https://thermae-yu.jp/ and reported that it is all look and no action too. I also read that there is another community bath house https://spa-tokyo.net/z-t-daikokuyu-nakano/index.html that can have some touching but I didn't have time to explore. Brothel - I booked a guy on https://en.hi-na.com/cast/rank.php that I have been lusting after since pre-pandemic (3 years of blue balls)! I checked his schedule and emailed the place in English a week ahead and arranged the time. Response was quick. A few minutes before the appointment, I arrived at the suggested exit at the train station and tried emailing them to pick me up, but I ended up having to call them. Once inside the shop, they confirmed what I ordered and I paid upfront. The guy is very similar to the picture but definitely a few years older but not too far off and has a smoking body. I think the only exaggeration is his dick size (so if you are a size queen you might be disappointed). The operating procedure was shower, mouth wash and then onto the bed. He kissed and licked my nipples but only sucked a little bit. We fucked with condom with both of us came. I enjoyed the time and almost wanted to book for the overnight but I had to leave Tokyo the next morning so I resisted my urge. I think I paid 22,000 yen for 2 hours. Just a personal preference, I think I prefer my Japanese brothel experience (I used other shops in Japan before in previous trips with similar experience) over the ones I had in Thailand such as My Hero or VClub. The room in Japan is a regular studio with a shower and bright set up like a bedroom, and the guys (at least try to) make me feel like I was having sex with my boyfriend. Whereas in Thailand, the rooms are usually carved out from a big space and dimly lit, which makes me feel like I was visiting a brothel with a you know what 🤷‍♂️😅.

  17. Spending time in Rio is great because there are the boys and beach. But there are many other things which can be done ... I discovered recently The Maze, a kind of museum established by a Bristish Artist some 30 years ago. It is on top of Tavares Bastos favela. This favela is small and as safe as other parts of Rio in particular because the headquarters of police operations are based there. A minibus starts regularly (whenever it is full) from intersection of rua Tavares Bastos and rua Bento Lisboa and takes you to the top of favela for 4R$. Then a 5 minutes walk will take you to the Maze. View from there is spectacular.

  18. I view the security issue differently, or think I understand the concerns ... as a USA born / resident but someone who has lived in several countries and traveled to many others. "exaggerate fears and paranoia" and "blind to the ridiculously violent culture they are immersed in" might themselves be exaggerations. In the cities we come from in our own countries - each of us - we know a lot more than we know about places we haven't been to before. We know, at home (most of us), where troubled spots are, where to stay away from, etc. For many years I lived in Chicago, but the areas I lived in were not insecure. Although the crime rate in Chicago is less than many other USA cities, there are neighborhoods / sections of the city where rates of crime and violence and deaths are dangerously high - and we know to stay from them. I would read of reports of tourists turning off highways into the "bad" neighborhoods looking for a gas station, a grocery store, or someplace to eat. Some were badly victimized. The challenge when we travel away from familiar areas is we don't know what we don't know. The personal safety / security concerns regarding Rio de Janeiro are well documented ... and reinforced by local residents cautioning tourists, hotel staff cautioning tourists, travel blogs and forums reporting on incidents of crime and harm and local residents cautioning visitors walking in sections of Rio ... to be careful. Some years ago travel forums for Rio saw many reports, first-hand witness reports, of individuals waiting for the tram up to Santa Teresa being mugged, robbed and badly injured by gangs. Real, not imagined. I rode the tram up to Corcovado, and the tram was protected by an armed security guard because gangs had been hopping aboard along the way and robbing tourists / passengers. My first trip to Rio, with an elderly friend of mine, we were waiting for a bus on Av. Nossa Sra. de Copacabana at Rua Siqueria Campos, not far from Hotel Atlantico Copacabana, when three or four young men approached, as the bus approached, and proceeded to beat-up a man waiting for the same bus, standing 10 ft. away from us. Real, not imagined. On another visit, I was on a chair under an umbrella at the Impanema beach when a gang from a favela tore through that area hitting people sitting nearby with clubs robbing them of valuables. Yet another visit, a local resident approached me when I was walking in Centro and in pretty good English cautioned me against street violence and asked me why I was walking there. Real, not imagined. My concerns have not been exaggerated and though I attempt to be as cautious as I can ... I continue to wander about with an intuition I think I've developed ... I hope I've developed! I lived in Mexico for 6 years, and when there I've been the victim of multiple crimes: drugged in a bar and all of my valuables robbed from my apartment, my apartment(s) robbed at other times, mugged on the street multiple times. I thought / think I know the city and "dangerous" areas ...but I was victimized nonetheless. After having moved back to the USA, I still return to Mexico City once or twice yearly. I don't know how long you've lived in the USA, but the comment "I feel like a White guy feels in the US, while many Americans here experience what people of color feel in US streets: targeted." lacks context. To the best of my knowledge and observation, crimes against persons of color are perpetrated by persons of color. White people aren't killing Blacks on the South Side of Chicago, Blacks are killing Blacks. On the West Side of Chicago, Latinos are killing Latinos ... not "White" non-Latinos. Drug cartels / gangs and the obscene availability of firearms are principal culprits responsible for the violence and carnage. None of us should NOT be concerned for our safety when traveling to unfamiliar places. Gay men oftentimes place ourselves in harms way more than some other individuals. Thank you for listening / reading.

For those who are interested in finding out why we say a transman is a man, and a transwoman is a woman, and why calling a transwoman “a dude who cuts his cock off, puts on his mums dress and wants to prance around “ is just purposefully missing the point, I would recommend the analogy laid out in this 2-minute video. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR3xrTtQ/

  21. It’s been going all this year, and ‘Black’ seems to be code for the idea of a darkroom/backroom theme, or pin-the tail-on-the-Monkeypox if it were to have been constructed during that earlier timeframe. Although divorced from the agenda of other days in the week, I would wonder if continual reference to the “most beautiful boys” is code for trade. Can he otherwise guarantee attractiveness among a cadre of patrons? No. So it is ambiguous. Although I do think the agenda is not trade-centric, one clue not the least of which is vast openness to attendee photos, and the ‘usual suspect’ category of customers might not fit in. But can harass the cuter followers LOL Others here can weigh in or report experientially. And good for Junior if it aids solvency in a tough market. It may be partly grafted on to the LaPool party series, with some headliner crossover.

  22. From my limited understanding, I thought the origins of the term referred to inculcating within the persecuted reference group a sense of careful and resilient watchfulness for the abuse itself. Essentially, a survivalist stance, the word gaining traction within the vernacular of surveillance for safety. Therefore, had little staying power in terms of a term appropriated within the bedrock of egalitarian values. So, a term that reflected a stance in relation to a problem did not exactly fit the methodology for attenuating that problem because its provenance restricted fluidity of meaning. Hence, vulnerability to disagreement about applicability, if not subject to meme status. That said, the common thread would be mindful awareness and getting caught up the term is likely fizzling out. Time of death: 14:24 EDT. It isn’t to say narrative alterations that challenge stereotypes don’t have their place.

I had heard it was very contaminated, so I had never tried it until this trip, afraid of disgusting smells. I was wrong. It is a beautiful walk. Contaminated or not, the water does not smell bad and is thriving with wildlife. I recommend it. I was surprised I did not see any boats. d6cb5cbd-2540-4660-a7a9-810e6f0733fb.MP4

  26. I did hook up with a guy in Medellin from Chaturbate in January. It took a lot of arranging and was more expensive and he pushed for every dollar he could get. But he lived up to his end of the arrangement... and more. It was certainly a good time for me. And there were no messages afterwards trying to get more money for which I was grateful. A party with a group of guys like him would indeed be a lot of fun.

  27. I have never thought much about 'woke' and have wondered why the word has gained such traction. Reading the above, my first reaction was ridiculous! How can you reset a quintissentially Japanese G&S parody to Renaissance Italy? How do you make Sullivan's pseudo-Japanese music work? Then I realised it was only the music I was really concerned about because it simply would not fit the concept. In theatre (and often, paradoxically perhaps, opera), though, resetting the period and even the country can work extremely effectively. I recall seeing two theatre companies present stunning productions of classics reset to Japan. The Ninagawa Company took its Macbeth set in samurai Japan to the Edinburgh Festival and later London in the mid-1980s. It was adored by audiences and critics alike. The same country's Suzuki Company took its versions of various Greek classics on tour to various countries. I saw its Elektra with strong Noh and Kabuki influences and was overwhelmed by its stunning physicality and overall effect. Would wokeness have resulted in such productions being banned?

  29. From the BBC By Andrew Stillman12th April 2023 While San Francisco and Los Angeles are renowned for their gay scenes, San Diego has long been one of the US' most tolerant cities. California has long been known as one of the most progressive, tolerant and LGBTQ+-friendly states in the US. Los Angeles was home to the US' first gay rights organisation and coined the term "Pride" to refer to gay advocacy. San Francisco hosted the country's first gay rights march and elected the first openly gay man to public office. The state was the first to legalise domestic partnerships between same-sex couples and consistently ranks as the best place in the US for LGBTQ+ travellers to visit. In 2017, California issued a travel ban prohibiting state-funded travel to any state "that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression". The travel ban initially applied to just five states, but after a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has swept across the US in the past seven years, it currently covers nearly half of the country. Now, in an effort to advance some of its other progressive policy goals, California is considering ending its travel ban and replacing it with an advertising campaign to promote acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in these "banned" states. The move is the latest effort in California's long history of promoting acceptance and inclusion for the gay community. But while places like San Francisco and Los Angeles have famously helped establish California as an LGBTQ+ bastion, the state is home to another gay hub that is often overshadowed by these larger cities: San Diego. San Diego has been a haven for members of the LGBTQ+ communities for decades. In his book Coming Out Under Fire: The History of Gay Men and Women in World War II, historian Allan Bérubé explained that the city's role as a major military headquarters inadvertently created a nascent gay scene during the war. Gay and lesbian people who had been isolated in smaller towns across the country where homosexuality was frowned upon were suddenly brought together during the war effort. Gay bars like Bradley's and Blue Jacket in San Diego's Gaslamp District attracted so many people that the city was featured in the 1952 book USA Confidential about America's "sin spots", while clubs like the Seven Seas and Jack's Steam acted as a cruising ground for gay men. Many military veterans later chose to settle in the city and, thanks to the city's culture of tolerance, 135 gay bars have opened here since the the war ended in 1945. "Moving out here, I fell in love with San Diego," said Chris Orban, more commonly known as Ariana Grindr on TikTok. "I feel like I can be my true self here." Nowadays, the hub of the city's LGBTQ+ community is Hillcrest, where a rainbow-lit sign and rainbow flags flapping over indie book shops, cafes and vintage clothing shops remind visitors why the area is dubbed San Diego's "gayborhood". Thanks to a mixture of cheap rent, abundant space and its out-of-the-way location, Hillcrest's gay community began congregating here in the late 1960s. The city's first Gay Pride parade was held here in 1975 and today the annual event is one of the largest Prides in the US, attracting more than 300,000 people. One of Hillcrest's most popular hangouts is Gossip Grill, which is one of only 27 lesbian bars left in the country. "We're a safe space for women and the marginalised community. It's the only women's bar in Southern California," said owner Moe Girton. "One thing we've seen recently, there's so much more diversity now and fluidity and people just stepping into their skin. You don't have to fit into a box anymore. Everyone [here] is just who they are and so accepting of everyone." Down the road and across a rainbow-painted crosswalk, you'll find the Hillcrest Brewing Company, the world's first gay brewery. When the sun dips down behind the horizon, you can follow the music along University Avenue to dance the night away at Rich's, Hillcrest's most popular gay nightclub, which has been featured on shows like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Any visit to San Diego wouldn't be complete with a visit to the beach. But before hitting the surf, stock up on sweets from the Candy Pushers, a colourful, lesbian-owned candy shop serving homemade fudge, specialty chocolates and truffles alongside more than 1,000 varieties of sweets. Then, a few shops away, stop by HUMANITY!, a novelty shop where you can find the perfect pair of Speedos, though those preferring to swim in their birthday suit should hit Black's Beach, a clothing-optional beach that's a popular hangout for the gay community. One of the city's most iconic and historic hotels is The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows, located in North Park. It also happens to be a hotspot for local gay men to enjoy a poolside drink. The hotel will reopen in June 2023 after a $26m renovation, and is just one of many LGBTQ+-friendly hotels in the city. San Diego may not be the first city people think of in California when they think of tolerance, but with its mix of year-round warm weather and climate of acceptance, there's nowhere Orban would rather be. "I feel at home [here]. Everyone is so open minded here and I can just be my authentic self without worrying. I don't live in the fear of walking down the street and getting assaulted because I dress the way I dress or have long hair," he said. "Plus, it's gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the beaches and the weather here. Every day is a vacation."

  30. I saw skokka mentioned above. I have never needed to hire from websites in Brazil, as the saunas provide me with more boys than I can handle. However, I did try the website in Buenos Aires with excellent results: premium sex at the lowest rates in the local market. In the Argentinean discussion forum, any mentions of the website are forbidden. Its critics say that the management does not control whether or not posters are of legal age and do not care about scammers. Although I have never used it in Brazil, when I have anxiety attacks before starting my trips, I always scout ads in vivalocal, garoto.com, and skokka. The latter seems to be quite active and popular,

    High Prices to Middle East

Remember the old stories about how bars in Bangkok would make up for fewer customers by raising drink prices? Well, airlines are taking a page from that tactic and raising fares and restricting capacity. Within the last 24 hours, US majors American and United announced disappointing earnings last quarter but said bookings are strong going into the summer while they are simultaneously planning to cut the number of flights. “We’re intentionally pulling back some of the capacity,” United CEO Ed Bastian told CNBC. “We want to make sure we don’t outrun our capabilities.” Nevertheless, he went on to predict that the airline should be able to get to 2019 capacity levels by the end of the year. Meanwhile, according to Reuters, "Chinese airlines undertaking the biggest hiring drives in more than three years as travel rebounds are facing a deluge of applicants for cabin crew roles as fresh university graduates turn to the relatively high-paying career in a bleak job market. In contrast to Western countries, where cabin crew roles are relatively low-paid and mostly do not require a university degree, becoming a flight attendant in China typically requires a bachelor's degree and preferably passing a challenging government-administrated English test." Excerpts from Reuters article (11 April) Carriers including Xiamen Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Spring Airlines are now on a hiring spree as domestic travel recovers and they plan to resume flights to popular international destinations. Hainan Airlines, which plans to hire more than 1,000 flight attendants this year, has already received more than 20,000 applications, it told Reuters. China Southern, which plans to hire 3,000 cabin crew this year, said it already had more than seven times as many applicants by the end of December. "There have always been a large number of young girls and boys who want to do this job, as the income is not bad, usually between 10,000 ($1,454) and 20,000 yuan a month, and it is fun, allowing you to fly around the world," said Li Hanming, an independent expert on China's aviation industry. In 2021, only 6.1% of fresh college graduates earned more than 10,000 yuan a month, the Global Times reported in February, citing education consulting and research institute MyCOS. Despite the surge in job seekers, airlines may find it difficult to deploy new hires immediately because of year-long ground training courses, which could slow their efforts to boost capacity quickly and keep airfares high, Li said. "Carriers have pretty bright forecast for 2024 so they need to hire crew members now, otherwise they will be short of hands next year," he added.

    Bukkake

I'm very familiar with bukkake, as it is a Japanese word. They claim to have invented it. It is a regular practice in Japan - in my younger days my friends and I would visit bukkake clubs in Shibuya. It was also common in the gay cinemas and I was always a willing participant, more often as a bukkake-er rather than a bukkake-ee. Catching the train smelling of cum was a problem. Lol. I always took a spare shirt because their aim wasn't all that good. I'd put the cum -covered shirt in a plastic bag before I left the cinema. Oh, the memories! I've never thought about doing it in Thailand; maybe I'll keep that for my next trip. It's great to see that it has spread around the world. I think Niceboys would be the perfect place for this, as long as you are prepared to pay each guy 300 baht. It's probably more like 500 in Natureboys. Also, I'm sure the guys in Super A would also oblige. In all cases you can do it in the bar.

    Bangu sauna

Following recommendations of Tomcal, we decided to go to Bangu sauna on sunday which is supposed to be the best day there. Bangu is located 30 km from Rio. We struggled a little since the sauna Casa Grande is not well poditionned on google : it is actually on the opposite side of the railway. But it is well positionned on uber so if you use uber, it should be ok. (The swimming pool shown above is the one of Casa Grande) When you see the police car with the policemen with guns you are close (lol). Sauna opens at 3 pm on sunday. Boys are coming regularly until 5 or 6 pm. We arrived there around 3.30 pm. Around 5 pm, there were around 15 boys. All next door types. No over muscular hunks here. Some twinks. It is a kind of family atmosphere : we are received by the owner, there is a churrasco being prepared, drinks are cheap and good (the caipirinha there was perfect). The boys who arrive come to introduce themselves to customers. Boys wear blue towels. Customers white towel. So if you are given a blue towel, beware lol. Compared to my 2 previous trips there (on a saturday nite for a big party in ... 2012) there are a few more rooms, each one with shower. No sheet on the bed though. And you can buy condoms but not gel ... I chatted quite a lot with the boys who came sit down at our table. And with the owner who is quite friendly. Among the boys present, I spotted Patrick. Nice swimmer body, nice face, nice smile, 20 yo. Great session.

  39. My "tiny world" is perfect. I live in Thailand. I have access everyday, to what most here dream about every night. They type on here from their cold, expensive shit life waiting to return to the place they want to be. I'm sorry you are so bitter. I'm happy to give you a hug when you return.

  40. And I too wish you the best as a privileged foreign cis-male in lovely Thailand. You have many, many benefits there. In Thailand, you're definitely a member of the WOKIE class. 😘

  41. It is a weird structure indeed. This is the official description of the place : "The 700 stalls, distributed side by side, offer cariocas and tourists a variety of typical northeastern products, such as food, spices and handicrafts. When hunger strikes, it's time to try the flavors of typical cuisine, such as Baião de Dois, Sarapatel or Carne de Sol with Aipim, offered in several restaurants at the fair. On the pavilion's two stages, the music never stops: forró, xote, baião and xaxado, among other rhythms, guarantee fun all night long on weekends".

  42. The Centro of Northern traditions is also a great place to discover. It is a huge complex with lots of restaurants, shops, 2 stages for live music, a small museum,. ... Do'nt go there during the weekdays. It is only open from 10 am to 6 pm and there are not so many people. And almost noone until 1 pm. But during the week-end, it is packed, particularly Friday and Saturday. These days, the center is open until 4 am. Worth a visit. Campos de São Cristovão in Rio de Janeiro

  43. Rio is also a great city to walk around during daylight. It is full of architectonic jewels from all times. I have enjoyed many long walks in Copacabana, and right now, I am exploring Leblon and Ipanema. I am ashamed to confess that I have not yet explored Centro, but hopefully, I will have time on this trip. Close to Rio, it is excellent to explore the natural reserve area where Praia Grumari is located. I wrote a report a few years ago: https://ilikepinga.com/2020/12/01/abrico-beach/ (ignore the links to my JFF, I have discontinued it)

  44. LGBTQIA2S is the full set used in some of the gender studies literature in North America. I is for intersex people A is for a-romantic and asexual people. 2S is for the two spirit people of many Native American tribes. Enbies (non binary) are all necessarily trans so they are already included in the T. Being cisgender doesn’t make you gay. Cisgender people are by far the majority of people on Earth (>98%), they don’t need to be part of a coalition of minorities

  45. Woke - alert to injustice and discrimination in society, especially racism. I don't see a problem with being alert to such things. Many of these areas are improving in many, though not all, countries. Perhaps we should all be more woke, not less. I find that the entertainment and art industries are often the most sensitive to such issues and among the first to accept people discriminated against in other areas of society. Do people go too far in some areas? Certainly. It's pretty hard though to have experienced prejudice for so much of your life, see things improving and then see people trying to revert and reintroduce prejudice. Everyone should make their own decisions over re-imaginings of old plays and films. If you just wanted a repeat of the original you could have stayed home and watched it? Surely it's the job of any new production to create something new and appropriate to today rather than regurgitate productions of the past. Bring on the wokeness. I'm capable enough to filter the things I want to see and use the off button if necessary. Personally I enjoy seeing things that challenge preconceived ideas.

  46. If I were you, I’d consider still being firm but being kinder and gentler, so as not to come across as a rude and condescending guest in another country — which could get you in a world of trouble with the wrong person. This weekend, at Ipanema Beach, I witnessed a beach vendor (hocking his henna tattoos) pull a knife on, and curse and yell violently at, a white, slim, and clearly visibly gay male tourist who dismissively shrugged off his sales pitch for a temporary tattoo

  47. Oh well they can. I honestly believe anyone should be able to do and be whoever they want! Pray to whichever god, dress how they want, fuck who they want (consenting adults), and live their life how they wish. My only feelings on the matter is they should do it without ramming it in other peoples faces. I don't care if some dude cuts his cock off, puts on his mums dress and wants to prance around. But I don't want to see it, or hear about it. That's his business. Not mine.

  48. Typical "WOKIE" response. No argument, because their isn't one. Enjoy that. I know who I am and what I like. I'm really sorry I can't understand your delusions. I do wish you the best though. May you have much happiness and forture success.
