I went to Siam Square. Besides the usual mayhem, they had a series of floats. Young guys in wet white shorts are part of the floats and they put on a very sexy dancing display. Some delicious -looking bulges on display and the usual hot bodies. Heaven!4 points

From the BBC By Andrew Stillman12th April 2023 While San Francisco and Los Angeles are renowned for their gay scenes, San Diego has long been one of the US' most tolerant cities. California has long been known as one of the most progressive, tolerant and LGBTQ+-friendly states in the US. Los Angeles was home to the US' first gay rights organisation and coined the term "Pride" to refer to gay advocacy. San Francisco hosted the country's first gay rights march and elected the first openly gay man to public office. The state was the first to legalise domestic partnerships between same-sex couples and consistently ranks as the best place in the US for LGBTQ+ travellers to visit. In 2017, California issued a travel ban prohibiting state-funded travel to any state "that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression". The travel ban initially applied to just five states, but after a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has swept across the US in the past seven years, it currently covers nearly half of the country. Now, in an effort to advance some of its other progressive policy goals, California is considering ending its travel ban and replacing it with an advertising campaign to promote acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in these "banned" states. The move is the latest effort in California's long history of promoting acceptance and inclusion for the gay community. But while places like San Francisco and Los Angeles have famously helped establish California as an LGBTQ+ bastion, the state is home to another gay hub that is often overshadowed by these larger cities: San Diego. San Diego has been a haven for members of the LGBTQ+ communities for decades. In his book Coming Out Under Fire: The History of Gay Men and Women in World War II, historian Allan Bérubé explained that the city's role as a major military headquarters inadvertently created a nascent gay scene during the war. Gay and lesbian people who had been isolated in smaller towns across the country where homosexuality was frowned upon were suddenly brought together during the war effort. Gay bars like Bradley's and Blue Jacket in San Diego's Gaslamp District attracted so many people that the city was featured in the 1952 book USA Confidential about America's "sin spots", while clubs like the Seven Seas and Jack's Steam acted as a cruising ground for gay men. Many military veterans later chose to settle in the city and, thanks to the city's culture of tolerance, 135 gay bars have opened here since the the war ended in 1945. "Moving out here, I fell in love with San Diego," said Chris Orban, more commonly known as Ariana Grindr on TikTok. "I feel like I can be my true self here." Nowadays, the hub of the city's LGBTQ+ community is Hillcrest, where a rainbow-lit sign and rainbow flags flapping over indie book shops, cafes and vintage clothing shops remind visitors why the area is dubbed San Diego's "gayborhood". Thanks to a mixture of cheap rent, abundant space and its out-of-the-way location, Hillcrest's gay community began congregating here in the late 1960s. The city's first Gay Pride parade was held here in 1975 and today the annual event is one of the largest Prides in the US, attracting more than 300,000 people. One of Hillcrest's most popular hangouts is Gossip Grill, which is one of only 27 lesbian bars left in the country. "We're a safe space for women and the marginalised community. It's the only women's bar in Southern California," said owner Moe Girton. "One thing we've seen recently, there's so much more diversity now and fluidity and people just stepping into their skin. You don't have to fit into a box anymore. Everyone [here] is just who they are and so accepting of everyone." Down the road and across a rainbow-painted crosswalk, you'll find the Hillcrest Brewing Company, the world's first gay brewery. When the sun dips down behind the horizon, you can follow the music along University Avenue to dance the night away at Rich's, Hillcrest's most popular gay nightclub, which has been featured on shows like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Any visit to San Diego wouldn't be complete with a visit to the beach. But before hitting the surf, stock up on sweets from the Candy Pushers, a colourful, lesbian-owned candy shop serving homemade fudge, specialty chocolates and truffles alongside more than 1,000 varieties of sweets. Then, a few shops away, stop by HUMANITY!, a novelty shop where you can find the perfect pair of Speedos, though those preferring to swim in their birthday suit should hit Black's Beach, a clothing-optional beach that's a popular hangout for the gay community. One of the city's most iconic and historic hotels is The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows, located in North Park. It also happens to be a hotspot for local gay men to enjoy a poolside drink. The hotel will reopen in June 2023 after a $26m renovation, and is just one of many LGBTQ+-friendly hotels in the city. San Diego may not be the first city people think of in California when they think of tolerance, but with its mix of year-round warm weather and climate of acceptance, there's nowhere Orban would rather be. "I feel at home [here]. Everyone is so open minded here and I can just be my authentic self without worrying. I don't live in the fear of walking down the street and getting assaulted because I dress the way I dress or have long hair," he said. "Plus, it's gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the beaches and the weather here. Every day is a vacation."3 points

Thailand’s problem with transgenders in the workplace
Marc in Calif and 2 others reacted to Tartegogo for a topic
Some Thai Ladyboys do, if you speak to them about it, go past what society is calling them, and spend more than 3 minutes listening to how they feel. Not all of them of course, the gender of AMAB people is a spectrum that goes from The Rock to Valentina Sampaio. I am not sure why that is such a problem for you, tho, in which way the existence of trans women causes you any harm? And if doesn’t cause you any harm, why do you care so much when other people just do, well, whatever the fuck they want?3 points -
They are not reviews, more like eroticized stimulants. Client input is screened vetted restricted to positive comments. Look at the fine print in the site’s terms of reference. It’s not necessarily a problem but just be aware that those narratives are geared to marketing, not objectively constructed so as to weed out bad apples that one would hope don’t land on one’s shortlist.3 points

There are no dedicated boy bars in Nakhon Sawan, but in the usual entertainment venues you might find a gay corner. There is/was some gay cruising in the park (island on lake), but neither numbers nor what's on offer interesting to me. However in online dating, Nakhon Sawan has been very productive for me. General sightseeing as well a lot on offer.3 points -

If you were straight, you'd be the kind of guy who says "I honestly don't care about gays, but they should have no visibility whatsoever. They should have no rights and the government should not recognize them. They should not have a gay quarter in our cities , they should not have a pride, and their very existence should be hidden from everyone. Certainly no holding hands in public. They can maybe survive, but I don't want to see them, or hear about them". Essentially, you are not a homophobe, but only because you are gay. You would be one otherwise.2 points -

Bukkake
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to a-447 for a topic
I'm very familiar with bukkake, as it is a Japanese word. They claim to have invented it. It is a regular practice in Japan - in my younger days my friends and I would visit bukkake clubs in Shibuya. It was also common in the gay cinemas and I was always a willing participant, more often as a bukkake-er rather than a bukkake-ee. Catching the train smelling of cum was a problem. Lol. I always took a spare shirt because their aim wasn't all that good. I'd put the cum -covered shirt in a plastic bag before I left the cinema. Oh, the memories! I've never thought about doing it in Thailand; maybe I'll keep that for my next trip. It's great to see that it has spread around the world. I think Niceboys would be the perfect place for this, as long as you are prepared to pay each guy 300 baht. It's probably more like 500 in Natureboys. Also, I'm sure the guys in Super A would also oblige. In all cases you can do it in the bar.2 points -

Two observations. 1) "Woke", like "politically correct" before it, is only used non-ironically by Daily Mail readers (for non-British readers, insert the equivalent newspaper or "news" channel). 2) Biology is complicated, more complicated than most people can imagine or understand. If you think there are just "2 types" of anything in biology you aren't qualified to discuss it.2 points -

Nature fucks up in many ways. Some people are born without a forearm. Some people are born autistic. Some people are born with Down syndrome. some people would die if they ate a snickers bar without modern medicine to save them from nut allergy . Nature can screw up in so many different ways. Do you really think it is impossible that nature sometime fucks up and build a person with male brain structures in a female body, or the reverse? Another point to consider: Do you really think that all the trans people who go through very expensive surgery, with all the post surgery pains, potential complications, have to take weekly needle shots of hormones, become infertile, and deal all their life with all the social stigma associated with being trans, etc., do all of it “just for fun”? Why would they do all of that if being trans isn’t a real experience? If being born in the wrong body isn’t a real thing, why would they go through all these hurdles and not choose the easy path, and just stay the gender they were assigned at birth? Being trans is real. All trans people tell us that. I have dated several trans men and I assure you they really are men who were trapped in a female body which they were carefully trying to modify so that they could appear as men and live their lives as the real men they are. Just because you were lucky enough to be born in a body that matches your internal experience and gender identity, doesn’t mean that everybody is the same as you. Nature just didn’t screw up with you as much as it did with them. And if you think they are too small a minority to recognise, then by that logic straight people were right to refuse to recognise us because we gays are also too small a minority to matter to them.2 points

Spending time in Rio is great because there are the boys and beach. But there are many other things which can be done ... I discovered recently The Maze, a kind of museum established by a Bristish Artist some 30 years ago. It is on top of Tavares Bastos favela. This favela is small and as safe as other parts of Rio in particular because the headquarters of police operations are based there. A minibus starts regularly (whenever it is full) from intersection of rua Tavares Bastos and rua Bento Lisboa and takes you to the top of favela for 4R$. Then a 5 minutes walk will take you to the Maze. View from there is spectacular.1 point

I saw skokka mentioned above. I have never needed to hire from websites in Brazil, as the saunas provide me with more boys than I can handle. However, I did try the website in Buenos Aires with excellent results: premium sex at the lowest rates in the local market. In the Argentinean discussion forum, any mentions of the website are forbidden. Its critics say that the management does not control whether or not posters are of legal age and do not care about scammers. Although I have never used it in Brazil, when I have anxiety attacks before starting my trips, I always scout ads in vivalocal, garoto.com, and skokka. The latter seems to be quite active and popular,1 point -

Following recommendations of Tomcal, we decided to go to Bangu sauna on sunday which is supposed to be the best day there. Bangu is located 30 km from Rio. We struggled a little since the sauna Casa Grande is not well poditionned on google : it is actually on the opposite side of the railway. But it is well positionned on uber so if you use uber, it should be ok. (The swimming pool shown above is the one of Casa Grande) When you see the police car with the policemen with guns you are close (lol). Sauna opens at 3 pm on sunday. Boys are coming regularly until 5 or 6 pm. We arrived there around 3.30 pm. Around 5 pm, there were around 15 boys. All next door types. No over muscular hunks here. Some twinks. It is a kind of family atmosphere : we are received by the owner, there is a churrasco being prepared, drinks are cheap and good (the caipirinha there was perfect). The boys who arrive come to introduce themselves to customers. Boys wear blue towels. Customers white towel. So if you are given a blue towel, beware lol. Compared to my 2 previous trips there (on a saturday nite for a big party in ... 2012) there are a few more rooms, each one with shower. No sheet on the bed though. And you can buy condoms but not gel ... I chatted quite a lot with the boys who came sit down at our table. And with the owner who is quite friendly. Among the boys present, I spotted Patrick. Nice swimmer body, nice face, nice smile, 20 yo. Great session.1 point

Rio de Janeiro, Spring Fuck 2023

Maybe I’m partially to blame for the 202 locker room gratuity request. I always, volitionally and without prompting, give a pequena gorjeta to those I view as members of what I would loosely categorize as janitorial, particularly if their task is more directly impactful on my time there. Also chat with the tall 40-ish male towel attendant; I’m embarrassed that I am guessing by recall that his name is Diego or Diogo. The complaint seems possibly to be objection to a request that simply conveys tips are welcome … well, ‘don’t ask don’t receive’ is the rightful and not so outrageous worker position. The customer protest might seem legit if the sense is that the service worker is implying, imputing to the customer, a skinflint trait if not accommodated. That isn’t the intended dynamic unless a customer projects onto it. Look at your typical restaurant meal service charge. Are those amounts stimulating paroxysms of deep resentment? Cue the finger-pointing accusations of pushover traits surrounding parting with cash needlessly. Fine, some are happy with paying ‘needlessly’ more across transactional contexts. Doesn’t mean they’re not golden; that would be their call. FullSizeRender.MOV1 point -

Cambodia to downplay Angkor Wat site
splinter1949 reacted to reader for a topic
From Pattaya Mail The Cambodian government is determined to put a new focus on international tourism, stressing that visitors should be dispersed throughout the country. The move follows concerns that the traditional attraction, the Angkor Wat ancient temple complex, is suffering environmentally from mass tourism (notably Chinese) and more controversially from the semi-forcible eviction of 10,000 local residents to “protect” the park. Minister of Tourism Thong Khon said that, in the past, overseas visitors had restricted themselves mostly to the capital Phnom Penh and the provincial Siem Reap with the neighboring temple complex. He explained that new packages were now offering more nature tourism, adventure activities, ecotourism and learning about local culture and food. Cambodia had many poor areas throughout the country which still needed development. Mr Khon said the focus now was on the slogan “Every day is a Wonder” and included events such as the Southeast Asian Games next month, the international tourism forum in Sihanoukville and the 12th ASEAN para games in June. He added that tourism had rebounded since the pandemic and predicted arrivals in 2023 would surpass 4 million. The pre-pandemic six million would be equaled by 2025. Cambodia is now rapidly transforming its poor infrastructure image, such as 38 new roads in Siem Reap, the recently-opened Phnom Phnom-Sihanoukville expressway and two mid-construction international airports which will encourage new airlines by applying tax incentives and reducing or waiving landing fees. Mark Geoffreys, spokesperson for Asian Tours which specializes in Cambodia, said, “Angkor Wat will remain the most popular venue, but the many improvements in transport communications mean that many more international tourists will visit other parts of the country too.”1 point -
Authorities suddenly appear to be going out of their way to play down the huge cyber theft. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the May elections. From The Nation Hacker ”9Near”, who is accused of stealing personal data of 55 million Thais, has nothing to do with Thai politics, Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn said on Wednesday. Thai authorities began a hunt for the hacker on April 2 after he announced on the Breach Forum website that he had obtained the personal data of 55 million Thai nationals. He claimed the data included names, surnames, date of birth, ID card and telephone numbers. The Breach Forum website is a place where personal data leaked from state agencies or private firms are bought and sold. The Criminal Court, on April 3, ordered a block on the website, 9near.org, and any websites found publishing data from 9near.org. Army Transportation Department officer Sgt-Major Second Class Khemarat Boonchuay, who is suspected to be the hacker, surrendered to cyber police on April 7. Khemarat has been accused of violating the Computer-related Crime Act and Personal Data Protection Act. Cyber police have confiscated Khemarat's hacking equipment at his residence in Nonthaburi. The suspect's wife would be charged with being an accomplice if they find evidence, the police said.1 point

I walk a lot when in Rio, or any other destination. For me, an interesting (daytime) walk has been through Campo de Santana and afterwards through the sprawling street marketplace "Saara". After leaving the park I enter the market (across the street) at Praça da República and on R. Sr. dos Passos throughout. It's a congested marketplace with many places to eat and where you can buy just about anything inexpensively. The street market continues to R. Uruguaiana where there is a Metro station. I've also explored on foot much / most of Copacabana, Ipanema, Cinelandia, Urca, Gloria, Catete, Larangeiras, Lapa and Niteroi Centro. Only one favela (the name of which I do not recall): as a small tour participant many years ago. Only once did I fear I would be a victim of crime / violence - but it hasn't happened, yet. Beach time for me is usually several days a week at Ipanema, and on other days I'm on foot exploring. Evenings are reserved for GP enjoyment! SAARA Market:1 point

I always make a point of asking. If the guy says his cock is "original" - that's one English word they all understand - then the deal is on. I called a guy into the chuck-wow booth at Niceboys the other night, and not having been to Thailand for a few years, I forgot to ask. Shock, horror - he had a thick band of silicone around the centre of his cock. We went ahead anyway, as to send him back would mean a loss of face. There is also a rather old gogo boy in Xboys who is in the big cock show. Most of his cock is silicone. Yuk!!! I remember coming across a number of guys at Classic House massage in Chiang Mai with mooks and silicone.1 point

Keying off KYTOP's comments, I tend to agree that education is a mess. I think it is a mess in large part because society devalues it so much. We expect teachers to be miracle workers for shit wages and then justify it by saying they get summers off. Teachers catch heaps of shit from people who can't be bothered to engage with their own children. If any of these parents gave a fuck, they'd know what their kids were learning. A long time ago, women had few career opportunities so whip smart women became teachers for shit wages because they had no other choices. We had great schools on the backs of trapped women. Now they do have other choices, and they take them. I looked into teaching as a second career and laughed at the pay scale. I wasn't expecting much, but it was pathetic enough to make me lose all interest. It is about as easy to become a nurse and earn 50% more, never mind that nurses have many more career opportunities and choices available. Only the most dedicated, or those without much other choice would choose that occupation in my opinion. Building an education that depends on effectively secular nuns is idiotic. Shiny new bombs and guns? Buy them all! Invest in people? What are you a pinko socialist? A Liberal elite? I think the evidence of the consequences of that are everywhere to be seen in US politics. We have deified ignorance. What has been the effect of this new understanding of the state of our education system? The call to ban more books. To teach less of this or that. Nowhere do I read about parents rising up because their children can't do algebra, read another language, write a coherent essay, or the like. No, the rage is all about culture war crap. It isn't about education at all. Rant over.1 point

I’m not a type of person who post reviews , more reading them ! English is not my first language so please excuse my grammar I found so much information about Rio based on the information of this forum - I’m quite shy and introvert so to read about going to sauna is quite intimidating for some reason! But I’m seeing another member of this forum today who give me courage to check out the sauna - thank you to Archer Wednesday is my first day - staying at fairmont - decent location , nice staff , have no problem to bring guests upstairs - I did a tantric massage at Spa H - it was a good massage, nice clean place , extra fee for happy ending of course - want to go to Point 202 , since it is according to the calendar of this forum is the best nice of the week, and I plan to meet archer since he was also be there - but it seems so much that day and I had a long flight , my first meal in Brazil was not agreeable with me - end up meeting someone on Grindr it was hot - but for some reason - the photo and the in person was just not quite the same - I try to find a list of hotel to bring guests back to the room a few times but could not find the list but fairmont hotel , you can bring guy up - Thursday : tantric massage at solaryun spa - very sensual , good pressure , nice clean place, was ask if they offer any extra service, he told me no- there was also a review on google that they offered only sensual not sexual massage - but the masseur ended up riding me and cum in 5m - honestly - it was the hottest thing I did in 2023!! Evening time - did a three some with Grindr previous night and his friend - it was nice - friday : the date I finally meet Archer - who I have to stay look stunning in person - we had a nice chat at coffee shop in ipanema - he has been here a few times , give me some tips somehow it feel different to listen to some tip in person vs reading on the internet - which the only reason gave me the courage to go to Club 117 - it was a raining / some kind of holiday in Rio where they block off the street facing the beach - I finally make it to club 117 at 5pm - Archer told me and I read on forum as well - don’t go with the first guy approach you - well I did it anyway - he was so hot - the sex as good - I gave him a big tip - I work in service industry all my life - the tipping is in my dna - in Brazil - I don’t believe tip is expected but I feel guilty if I don’t - Even in Fairmont - almost all don’t expect tip unlike Thailand - after finish with his one - sitting at the smoking area - I approached by the biggest penis I’ve been seen in person in my life - not the face that I go for - but he was quite persistent and such a good kisser that I ended up going with him anyway - well - the fuck was the most intense one - after that , I feel like I must write a review about my trip There is at least 30-40 guys in club 117 tonight - and I’m in my recovery mode for my third time - I feel like it must be a land for big Dick top with great kissing skill - I’m in heaven 3 more nights to go till going to cold depressed New York !
