I couldn't quite figure out where to put this... But I've been out in Kanchanaburi for the last few days. Yesterday we visited Huay Mae Kamin waterfall. It's about 45km past Erawan Falls which are currently closed due to storm damage a couple of weeks ago. It is spectacular and magical. It's quite reminiscent of Kuang Si in Luang Prabang with several levels and beautiful green waters. Also quite easy to get to with parking right near the most beautiful parts of the falls. But take the walk to tier 6 and you're rewarded by an enormous abundance of butterflies. I've never seen anything like it. Well worth the 300 baht entry for foreigners Lots of long drives and winding roads out in that part of the country.8 points

The next day we did a visit to Sangkhlaburi which is near the border with Myanmar. Really not all that much to see given the amount of time it took to get there and back. But there is this long timber bridge called the Mon Bridge. And you can take a long boat to this old-ish temple (built in the 1950s actually) that ended up being submerged when a dam was build on the river.6 points -
From there we drove to Hua Hin which took all day. And today was a backtrack to Phetchaburi to visit King Monkut's hill top palace and the very cool Khao Luang cave which has sunbeams that stream in around 10 AM. No photos allowed inside the palace but the rest of the outdoor spaces are very pretty. You reach the top of the hill by taking a funicular. I think it was 230 baht for the cable car ride up and back plus entry to the palace. The cave was just 10 baht. Haven't had a chance to go through the photos from the palace yet.4 points

Abortion rights and same sex marriage are firmly planted in Canadian society and overall support remains high. The Catholic Church remains firmly against. It wasn't that many years ago that a girl in our local Catholic high school had a slur scratched in to the door of her school locker. She had no support from the school administration and when she asked the principal if the slur could be painted over, he told her, sorry, the policy was that locker painting was only done during the summer holiday.. still months away. This is the way he treated a LBGTQ teenage girl. It was part of a scheme by the local bishop to weed out LBGTQ students, staff and any sympathizers. The education department soon found a pointless desk job for the principal, but the Church promoted the bishop to a much bigger diocese. As for the locker, other students covered it with heart cut-outs and messages of support.3 points

Is Indicting Trump A Good Idea?

https://queenseagle.com/all/2023/3/30/queens-man-indicted Queens man indicted March 30, 2023 By Ryan Schwach A Queens man was indicted Thursday for allegedly making hush money payments to a porn star shortly before he was elected president of the United States in 2016. Although the exact charges against former president and Queens native Donald Trump are still unknown, Trump will be the first former president to ever face criminal charges and is expected to be arrested, fingerprinted and quite possibly handcuffed in the coming days, the New York Times reported. Court sources told the New York Daily News that the grand jury handed up their indictment vote around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The grand jury had been deliberating in lower Manhattan as part of an investigation led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg into hush money payments the former president raised in Jamaica Estates made to porn star Stormy Daniels just before the election in 2016. Trump allegedly made the illegal payments as a way to keep Daniels from going public about the alleged affair he had with her in 2006. Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen first brought the story to light in 2018, saying that he handled the illegal pay off, and that Trump did it āfor the principal purpose of influencingā the 2016 presidential election, the Daily News reported. The $130,000 payoff was taken out by Cohen through a home equity line of credit, the Daily News said, and wired to Daniels. The charges come about a week after Trump called for protests outside of Braggās office and threatened ādeath and destructionā if charges were to be brought against him. Trump became the first man from Queens to be impeached in 2019. Two years later, he became the first man from Queens to be impeached twice.2 points -

One thing funny happened to me in Rio in my hotel. The hotel I was at, had a switch you can turn on or off for room service. Turning it on, turns the green light on. On the outside of the door. Anyways I always made sure that is off. I didnt really need room service. But still everyday I would come back the room was clean and straighten up. The funny part is that i brought a dildo with me (would use it before going to sauna, to prep myself š) it had a suction type at the end, so I would stick it to the restroom wall after cleaning it. The first day i came back from the sauna, the room was all tidy up but the dildo was still hanging on the bathroom wall š. I thought maybe they came in by mistake so I did the same thing next day, left the dildo on the wall hanging and the same thing happened. I wad so embarrased to look the cleaning lady in the eye whenever I would get out of my room šš. The following days, i would put it in my luggage in a ziplock š2 points

Think you have it backwards. Those in Washington incident had their opportunity to vote for party of their choice but decided to try to overthrow the government simply because they didn't like the results of election. Those in Myanmar were demonstrating for their right to vote for party of their choice but were denied the opportunity. What do you suppose would happen in Moscow if demonstrators had invaded the Kremlin because they didn't like the fact that Putin had "won" 90+ percent of vote? I suspect Putin would take a page from Stalin's playbook.2 points

From Forbes Laos may be a landlocked country without a tropical coastline, but it makes up for it with stunning mountain scenery, lush rice paddies and the mighty Mekong River which runs through its territory. Still wild and largely untouched, it offers a fascinating array of cultural attractions, outdoor experiences and timeless charm. With its mix of Buddhist temples, colonial architecture and jungle fauna, Luang Prabang is one of the overlooked jewels of southeast Asia. First inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, its heritage has been preserved in time and its traditions remain an enduring attraction. Itās still common to see locals give alms to monks each morning around 6am: sticky rice, crackers or cookies given as an act of charity to monks who rely on these expressions of good will. Orange Robe Tours, one of many social enterprises in town, hires former Novices and Monks to lead tours around Luang Prabang. These culturally-immersive experiences provide unique insight into the life of a Buddhist monk, and help ease the transition from temple life to layperson life. The Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (TAEC) is another entity helping to preserve and share Laotian traditions with the public. Through its museum exhibits, education activities and livelihoods development programme, the TAEC educates visitors on the main ethnic groups of Laos, and empowers local communities to actively manage their own cultural heritage. In Canada a young right wing white man who murdered three police officers hoping to spur a rebellion against Canada's "oppressive government" and a young white Quebec City man with "far-right, white nationalist, and anti-Muslim views" murdered six people in a mosque, were classed as criminal extremists by police. Two Muslim men who separately murdered two soldiers were classed as terrorists. All four seemed to be motivated by erratic behaviour mixed with "seething anger" and extreme beliefs, but government officials only seemed interested in labeling the Muslims as terrorists. They also used the murders of the solders "to expedite plans to boost security forces' surveillance, detention, and arrest powers."1 point

Bill Clintons indiscretions were MUCH worse. And then, Jesse goes on to offer the GOP some advice, "when you take back the White House in 2024, you MUST get even with those Dems....and indict EVERY person in office" (but he forgets to offer that there isnt ANY reason to indict these people) He must have missed the memo that Trump committed criminal acts.?1 point -

My dearest Sister In Cock. Yes, hyperbole is always good when we are talking about 12 inch Trump. But isn't this perhaps going a bit too far? Fact: This indictment is a shameless effort to interfere in a Presidential election with absolutely no merit. Fact: There is no racism in the Republican Party. None. The Black and Hispanic working class is now the very heart and soul of the GOP. Name a Republican who is NOT a Black woman, dearest Sis. But don't believe me. There you have it. A veritable ocean of Black faces at the 2016 GOP convention, chanting, "Set Hillary Free! Set Hillary Free!" The party of Lincoln would never stand for racism, even of the subtle type. Let alone election interference based on so-called unindicted crimes.1 point -

Most EU countries are members of the ICC. I'm not bored enough to see if it's all of them. Unless you can prove the ICC did tasks requested by the EU then the word bribe does not apply. There is little doubt many of Putin's actions fall within the remit of the ICC. That Russia is not a member means actually arresting him is not likely. Perhaps he'll find a window to "fall" out of or some "bad food" to eat like so many of his opponents.1 point -

9 Teen, quite hit and miss! My bf and I went at the same time for a two hour thai/oil massage. I think it was B1,000 for each of us. While I dropped my massage wear when we moved into the oil section, my masseur would only take off his top, and showed no inclination to do anything other than a hand job. My bf's masseur took everything off when they moved into the oil section, blow jobs were exchanged and both came! Go figure as Mr Trink would say! Premises seemed clean, en suite showers, manager efficient and well spoken in English. Although we did have to encourage him to produce the whole available team(10 or 12) to make our selections, when initially the choice presented was two or three. Prime massage can confirm as good thai massage, both our reports, at B500 for two hours, plus B200 tip, no hanky panky.1 point -

you or somebody else recently voiced similar concern in another thread I guess. Your Singaporean friend most likely overpaid but if he liked boy and experience nothing wrong with that. I rather pay 10000 and be happy then find somebody for 2000 who turns out to be low skilled sand bag. Being quoted 20000 is overboard but it may happen and come to realization, after all 4 off at 5000 equals 1 off at 20000 and only boy would know if that makes sense for him or not. I think it was fishing. None of us flies to BKK to pay that much and very few to pay that 10000. My last LT offs from there were 3000 in Dec and 5000 in May. In both cases guys were not in bar so I asked mamasans to bring them over. In 3000 case it was my offer after his 'up to you " answer to my question about his fee. 5000 was quoted by boy and I accepted right away because I liked him. Like reader above, I think each boy has his own rate depending of his popularity, client , phase of moon and so on. Nothing is written in stone though and may be negotiated. If guy is open to negotiation given day depends of the same criteria I listed. I met my '5000 ' guy before and then LT was out of question, even ST he was somewhat apprehensive with all that girls in audience but luckily changed his mind post-covid as we can see. in my opinion 5000 is a maximum, specially for untested guy, even in Jupiter, Moonlight or Tawan. If you have hots for guy you may go for more but be prepared to be disappointed. Alternative is to meet him ST first and see if you clicked There are few guys in various places I adore but none warranting more than that fee IMHO. 5000 is a lot of money and it's still easy to find somebody suitable for 3000, perhaps even 2500. Keep that in mind when you get too hot under the collar. When boy asks for more and is not yielding , tell him politely that 5000 or whatever is all you can pay and stick to that. Don't tell him (face !!! ) he is too expensive or that you can find guy for less. Tip him for his time and move on. Don't hold it against him , he knows better what his financial position is and may stick to his quote the same way we stick to ours. Next time you are in bar he may smile at you which will be good sign to try once more or will ignore you which means your offer was too low indeed. Be firm but polite and keep negotiations to minimum in order not to kill the fun. My rule is max 3 strikes "his quote, my quote, his quote, yes or no" or " my quote, his quote, my quote, yes or no" Keep in mind that quote from reader above The guy you like will have a price range in mind and you should, too.1 point

no shortage of hotels in all price range walking distance to to Patpong area . as for stack of 100's you may want to change money at XOne on Suriwong, one or two sois past soi Tawan walking FROM Patpong. They are very accommodating with request to give few thousands in 100's . As for tipping , don't overdue it because you may become easy target which may become costly and ever more important, annoying. And I don't think I'm particularly stingy, specially in Tawan. few things to consider : if boy sits with you uninvited don't feel under pressure to buy him a drink or even less to tip him unless you want to. Show that you are not interested ( simple hand gesture will suffice) and he will go away. If he starts massaging you and you don't want it for any reason / for example you have an eye on another guy, my most likely reason / , tell him ' no' . But if you let him to continue I'd tip him that 100. If you buy him a drink , either on your own or he will talk you too, then yes, he is supposed to sit with you and you are supposed to tip him 100-200, depending of time taken, more if you guys will be more adventurous, touchy , kissy etc. if you invite boy to sit with you , then yes you are supposed to buy him a drink and tip as described above. But he is supposed to sit with you , not circulate. If he will go here and there every 5 minutes forget about tipping him , even less 100 for every 5 minutes. I'd be actually pretty pissed off. Only case I let him leave is toilet or if he he called to the scene for his rotation or participates in the show. If you decide to off that guy tonight, don't tip him for sitting with you in the bar, he will get his off tip in the room on another hand be fair to boys and if you don't intend to off him today , I'd tell him that after say, 20 minutes and if he wants, release him and tip him of course. It's perfectly acceptable and at Tawan but also in other bars few times I had somebody else sitting with me and somebody else waiting in wings in the knowledge he will be offed that night , both informed about outcome in advance. for bringing drinks I tip waiter 20 per round i.e if he brings drinks for me and a boy at the same time it's 20. If I order drink just for myself it's 20 and if later on I invite guy to sit with me it's another 20. word of caution, seasoned guys sometimes may try to invite their bar friend for a drink at your expense, feel free to say no, specially if they did not even ask you if you agree. If you are soft hearted or don't want other guy to lose face , chalk up your loss but at first opportune moment let your guy know you did not like it. Happens very rarely but it does. mamasans are known to stretch their palms and feel free to ignore those unless they act as waiters too or if they were helpful i.e calling boy not scheduled today to come because you asked about him or helped with translation etc. On another hand if you are planning to frequent particular bar more often it may be good idea to slip that 100 to mamasan at one point just in case you may need him. Contrary to what you may hear from mamasans , if you know whom you want it's nothing wrong to show up in the bar and point at the door " I want guy # 81 ", pay off fee and go with him without bothering with drinks , shows, tips etc. Of course that would work only if you clear with boy in question he will go with you. hope it helped1 point

First Trip to BkK in >half decade
jamiebee reacted to flashbarryallen for a topic
@Tomm42If you're into guys a bit older, then Tawan is definitely the best choice. I think the new smaller location does make it a bit more intimidating, but I like the fact that there are a few guys there who will just sit down with you. It's a good warmup to have someone to drink with and explore their muscles while you're building up courage (and most likely a hardon!) to go for the ones who really catch your eye. I haven't offed any of the guys who sat with me right away, but I did make sure to tip them for their service for making me more comfortable in the bar. These men have thick skins so don't feel obligated to off a guy who sits with you right away. If they get a small tip from you, then it's all good. If you feel intimidated about being seen in public with a sexy hulking man, I also suggest choosing a hotel close to Tawan (or wherever you choose.) I was a regular there on my last trip and I regret not being closer. While you can use a taxi to go to your hotel, there's something more relaxing about it just being a quick walk from the bar to your bedroom. If you really have anxiety about this, you can get their Line and maybe off them another night and have them come directly to your hotel. I found about 7 guys I wanted to off at Tawan and I got their Line contacts and arranged for some to come to my hotel directly rather than me having to make the trip from the bar with them. Only thing I don't love about Tawan is that people do expect tips for the smallest things such as bringing you a drink, which is something I never experienced in other bars.1 point -
Wow, thanks so much reader, vinapu, spoon and macaroni21 - I canāt tell you how much I appreciate your input! Itās somewhat reassuring to hear spoonās account, and the āwalking on the other side of the roadā back and forth past the bar, internally struggling al, the way, is an experience Iām familiar with.. Maybe this time, it will be a different outcome for me! I appreciate your frank sharing and Iām dead keen to have a massage every day at Prime if organisable - like what I pretty much I used to do at Healthland every evening, at the Sathorn branch, for many of my previous BKK trips. Iāve never ever asked if a therapist from Healthland will do hotel outcall before, vinapu, but I think I will attempt this at Prime when Iām next there! Reader and vinapu - Iāve just scoured and search, and the bangkok spa outfit I meant is spabangkok - https://spabangkok.net/silom/ . But gosh, baht3200 that they have advertised there for their tantric massage - and likely tips on top of that - is very steep! Iām mullingā¦ and wonder if any in the forum have tried that! vinapu, it looks like Tawan should be my maiden port of call for the bar scene, I read - in one of the posts here - of a forward Tawan chap massaging oneās bulge until close to one being made to lose control - whilst tactically negotiating an off fee, in that state of serious compromise, and I think such an experience would rather agree with me. Pleasure control.. lol.. and older guys would appeal more to me. I think the seemingly forward nature of the men at Tawan would facilitate engagement, with these first time attack of trepidation and nerves. Macaroni, or shamelessmack, Iām privileged to be in your company here. Your site was the first serious site I pored over for BkK massages way back, and youāre absolutely right! It was B&N - and it was your site recommendation that prompted me to go there - first āsuchā massage I got in BKK ever. Man, that was well over a decade ago! Incredible! šš1 point

My first time bar visit was old Tawan. Nothing beats the fear and nervous feeling than the desire to fulfill my fantasy of seeing muscular guys who are willing to be with me. Yet, it took me a while before i summon the courage to enter the bar, with me going back and forth of that soi, and walking on the opposite side of the soi from the bar entrance, not even looking at the bar lol so, my advice is, based on all that youve read here, choose the bar that fits your taste the most, regardless of the bar's reputation for first timers. If your first visit isnt satisfactory, u can go to the next bar that fits your taste, and dont forget to revisit that first bar on a diff day, as your experience might change. I only summon the courage to off a boy from a bar on my second or third visit. And i did had the boy for overnight, as itll gives me time to calm my nerves and just enjoy the company without feeling rushed. I recalled not really asking him many questions in the bar as im really shy, so the only questions i asked were did he do long time and how much. The rest, ill find out in the room. Having said this, some bars do have pesky mamasan that might scare first timer. On this, you will have to stood your ground and just shoo them away. Ignoring will do too but usually will take time before they gay up so being upfront works best to avoid them ruining your experience. I usually will say im just here to see the show, but other members would use things like i like girls, or i like older guys etc lol. Either way, dont let them ruin your night. Just a short guide but dont hold on this as things might have change as last i went were pre-covid, tawan and jupiter mamasan/papasan/waiter are the least to disturb you. Moonlight mamasan are friendly and will check with you from time to time but i dont feel annoyed. Those are 3 bars that i always go to as they have the type of guys i like. Like i said before, boys move bars often, so does mamasan so best to just be there yourself. On the massage part, im a prime fan as well. Chances of getting extra is minute but it does happens occasionally. Ive reported before in one of my trip, out of 4 session i had, i was offered in 1 by the cutest but that session massage wasnt as good lol. U cant have it all i guess. Pre-covid, during low season, u can ask to choose masseur from the ipad, but not sure if thats still allowed. Though when i can choose, they will only show 4-5 masseurs, since i usually just walk in, thus those are masseurs who is available and in the next queue for customers. Im also arena fan. Though im not a fan of their mamasan, he just rubs me the wrong way. But pre-covid, i have fews masseurs there thats i like. I love massages but when in bkk, prices for massage arent really cheap when compared back home, so my priority is getting overnight or long time. For outcall, yes, even pre-covid, u can have that arranged with some boys or massage center, but i believe post covid, this option is readily available at more places than before. U can simply ask the center either through line or at counter. Lastly, sauna. Im not a sauna goer myself, but if u are ready to explore, this is something you would probably want to visit at least once so u can see if its really your thing or not. Ive been to sauna of few occassions and while i dont think its my place, im glad i did went there, or ill be forever wondering what its like. Despite saying sauna is not my thing, i thoroughly enjoyed sauna in japan though. So, if u want to explore, please go at least once. In silom, sauna mania is the closest and they do have O party on weekends, and it was definitely crazy pre-covid. Go and explore and dont sweat on the details.1 point
