  1. Masseur fatigue can also be long term in nature. The guys who've been at it for many years can get burned out, mechanical, and lose their touch. The younger & newer guys are sometimes a better bet. Also, given the very high volume of customers at Prime, there may be better alternatives with equally well trained staff (e.g. Green Massage/Suriwong, Natural Massage Soi 6). All minutes away from Prime on foot - and also more happy ending friendly.

  4. From The Nation The Yellow Line, Thailand’s first monorail mass-transit system, will start its free trial run in mid-May before providing full commercial service in June, according to its operator. Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc (BTSC) plans to carry out a trial run of the Yellow Line free of charge for two weeks starting in the middle of May, said Surapong Laoha-Unya, its CEO. The 30.4-km-long monorail mass-transit system connects Bangkok’s Lat Phrao district with Samut Prakan’s Samrong neighbourhood. “We expect to start opening commercial service of the Yellow Line in June, which is earlier than planned,” Surapong said. He said independent engineering consultants will examine the trains’ safety system so that the Yellow Line can be certified for commercial service. Meanwhile, the Pink Line, another monorail mass-transit system under construction, is expected to have its trial run in July before partial commercial service of certain sections in August, Surapong said. The 34.5 km-long Pink Line connects Bangkok’s Min Buri district and Nonthaburi’s Khae Rai neighbourhood north of the capital city. Construction of some Pink Line stations has been delayed, but it is expected to be completed towards the end of this year. BTSC operates the Yellow Line and the Pink Line through its subsidiaries Eastern Bangkok Monorail and Northern Bangkok Monorail, respectively, which won concessions to build and operate both systems. BTSC, which also operates the Skytrain in Bangkok, expects to earn 2 billion baht a year from both the Yellow Line and Pink Line, Surapong said.

    Gigolo Erotic House

Dropped in last night around 10:30pm with friends to pre-game at Gigolo and…man was it dead. Perhaps it was an off night because it is a long weekend here, but there were more dancers than patrons when we arrived. Many dancers that were long-time at the club have moved on to Garage or quit the game. There was just one dancer that I recognized. Still recommend a visit but it appeared things have shifted at Gigolo Erotic House.

I did not see the video but find it sad it was released to destroy this lad. Regardless of his sexuality, he deserved the right to come out on his own terms. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/03/18/sport/jeff-molina-ufc-fighter-bisexual-spt-intl/index.html

  10. That is no guarantee even if I recommended in good faith and with clear conscience guy who I know from many encounters , both massages and long time offs . But there are still things like chemistry or daily mood of ours or boy's which may derail things. I had this before with well rehearsed boy from BBB Inn whom I liked and recommended to one our our members whose experience was very unsatisfactory due to unexpected factor - lack of discretion. Boy unsolicited showed him pictures of some of his customers, apparently nothing compromising but he was put off. Surprising for me too as boy in question never produced such an exhibition to me in our several encounters. Second thing we need to remember that one statistic sample is not a base to formulate hypothesis. Neither excellent nor bad experience can't be treated as sign of things to come. While I sympathize with reader's remarks that bad and nasty reviews will stick with boy or place forever even if undeserved and made in heat of moment I must say that at times they may be fully deserved when boy clearly showed bad will. Fake pictures , unless disclaimed in profile already as such, fully deserve scorn and disclosure. Even worse- cases when boy clearly did not have any intention to keep his side of bargain. Those who read my Jan trip report can recall clear illustration of such behavior on part of guy I called CCP (Cambodian Charming Prince). It happens rarely but it does and we can wax lyrical about human dignity only to certain extend - but if asshole is called asshole no harm done if label sticks to him and warning is issued far and wide as long as it's deserved and explained why. But as always when throwing mud, before doing that we must be 100% sure is deserved. Since often there's doubt is better to exercise discretion in both making bad reviews and acting (or not) upon them. I'm still glad that despite warning from one of my most trusted forum friends years ago I engaged certain M from Senso , one of my best meets ever.

  11. Glad to see a review of a Foam Massage. In the straight Thai scene, they are called "Soapies" and are very common. That is not the situation for gay massages, not sure why. Helios seems to occupy the same premises as the old Blue Massage, which also used to specialise in them.

  12. Very good idea as you can be sure the strength, dosage, etc of the Rx is correct. I take prescription meds for asthma/allergies. In Bangkok, I use the Chula Besaj pharmacy on Rama IV between Silom Rd & Surawong. It's a big, busy place & they have everything I need. Generally, no prescription required.

  13. From VN Express The Ministry of Public Security has proposed prolonging the duration of e-visas granted to foreigners entering Vietnam from 30 days to a maximum of three months to help tourism recover. The e-visa will be valid for single-entry or multiple entries, according to a draft amendment to The Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam, for which the ministry is preparing to collect public opinions. Vietnam currently offers a one-month single-entry e-visa to visitors from 80 countries and territories, including the U.S. and Australia. Under the draft, the ministry also suggested extending the duration of stays for tourists from countries enjoying 15-day visa exemptions to 30 days. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told a tourism conference that Vietnam will waive visas for more countries and extend the length of stay for foreign tourists to speed up the recovery of tourism. Despite being one of the first Southeast Asian countries to fully reopen to international tourism post Covid, Vietnam received only 3.6 million foreign tourists last year, around 20% of the pre-pandemic figure.

  14. No, you have a sound understanding of how they work. Being a regular user, they're not suited for guests who want regular maid service. They're primarily suited for extended stay guests (month or more) who wish to live as they would at home. The advantages are not being disturbed by housekeeping and a lower per diem cost than hotels with similar amenities (i.e., pool, fitness center). I only use Airbnb's that have washing machines which allow me to travel lighter and, of course, launder the sheets as required. If you're staying longer than a month, the owner should throw in a complete cleaning at some point during your rental. I think for most visitors, hotels or serviced apartments are a far better choice.

  17. Today's adventures took me to Siam Square. Obviously it's been the center of youth culture here for a long time. Now they've set up some areas for young student bands to play in the evenings. I've seen some big name groups play on the street there as well. Off to one side of the action tonight was a giant kpop dance party that was so fun. Mostly it seemed to be queer boys and their girl friends of all shapes and sizes and little sisters and brothers. Whoever knew the choreo would jump in when a song started playing or they would clear the dance area for those who did know the moves. Everyone was having so much fun. Lots of girly boys in skirts. It all just felt so incredibly positive and empowering. You could tell that it was a great community. I'd estimate a couple of hundred dancers and a large collection of on-lookers. It was heart-warming for this tired old queen. The bands were interesting too. Most seemed to be HS kids. One group included two boys with rainbow guitar straps - one with a pink guitar and the other with a bass that had a little kawaii stuffed animal hanging off of it. Lots of girl musicians and singers in the mix. Pretty much all cover songs that I recognized. Overall it was a fun place to spend some time.

( provided there are at least 3 months remaining). I have not asked for longer. The other thing to bear in mind is that you are only supposed to enter Thailand with only one months worth of items. In nearly 20 years I have never been stopped and do not know anyone who has. It is recommended to carry them in your carry on luggage in case they lose your checked in baggage.

  23. Since I tend to do a lot of massages when I'm here I figured maybe it makes sense to put my impressions in one thread. I already mentioned my experience at Zoo Spa and Onsen in that dedicated thread, so I won't rehash it here. Prime Massage, Silom Soi 6. Yesterday I visited Prime in Silom Soi 6. Obviously this place is a huge massage factory. My back and neck were giving me some trouble so I thought a real, legit massage was in order. I did a 90 min oil massage. I liked the orange scented oil. No choice of masseurs but I didn't really care. The young woman at the desk took my 700 baht and had me take a seat briefly. Then I was led across the soi to the annex building. Showered down the hall. The sign in the shower about the 20000 baht fine if you poop in the shower gave me some pause. I presume that means it's actually happened in the past. Back to the room and onto the table. The table had a face cut out but was nearly as uncomfortable as a bed without it. The masseur used VERY hard pressure. Ultimately I had to cry out when he did that thing that too many masseurs do of pinching the muscle on the inside of the thigh. It hurts like hell and I had to tell him not to do that. I might have been a little loud in my protest. But he did ease up. Overall the massage was very thorough if totally legit with absolutely no hanky panky suggested or necessary. It was a bit painful though and too rough for me. I actually would have appreciated some slow stretching but his movements were too abrupt. I tipped 500 (I was pointed to the policy of 100 minimum at the cashier desk) because I thought it was fair, not because I was totally happy with the experience. 15M Massage (Saphan Kwai BTS) Today it was off to a part of the city I don't think I've ever visited before. 15M Massage is about a 30 second walk from the Saphan Kwai BTS (exit 3). So it's quite convenient. I booked Noom in advance (photo below). He looks almost nothing like this photo. So much so that I questioned to myself whether it was the same guy. His hair is no longer blond. But the tattoo matches up and so do the earrings. He's also a bit more muscular than in this photo. Booking via Line was easy. They also have a Twitter account (https://twitter.com/boybk12345) Mostly straight guys. Many quite handsome. And they are teamed up with the nearby 27M Massage. But since this location is so easy to get to I chose it. I arrived a few minutes early and Noom was already there as well. I asked for the 90 minute "aroma" massage which is my basic go-to option. I paid the 550 baht to the handsome boy at the cashier station and was led up one level. Room was very basic with a just a thin mattress on the floor. I was pointed to the shower up a further flight of stairs. Once back in the room Noom was already undressed and ready to go. The "massage" was basically terrible. I suspect there is no training for these guys and anyway no one is going there for a proper massage. It was just a mindless rub spending an inordinate amount of time on one leg, then the other before eventually progressing to a back rub. It was not especially erotic or relaxing - just kind of mechanical. After a while I was mercifully invited to flip over. The AC was a bit too cold and my efforts to communicate that were unsuccessful. Either my Thai is really terrible (likely) or he just didn't understand me or my pantomime of being cold. His phone dinged constantly with Line messages. Obviously the polite thing to do is silence your notifications in such a situation. He did offer to fuck me, but that's not my thing. So we moved on to other things that I do enjoy. I will say he was impressively hard with very little input needed. After a while the lights were flickered which I presume was meant as a signal to wrap up. Once we did finish I noted that barely an hour had passed. So, my 90 minute session was not what I go. But frankly I was fine with that. A satisfactory ending was achieved but on the whole not the greatest experience ever. Noom left me to shower alone as did he. We could have conserved some water, but that's not the way it worked out. They do have a couple of gay guys on staff so that might be a better option unless you just want a straight guy to fuck you. I did note several cute boys on my way out. If I'd had a better experience I would be more inclined to return.

  25. In some hotels, employees will notice. Once I had to register my GP as the second 'official guest' to let him in. So we did the paperwork as if he was my boyfriend staying with me etc. The next day when the GP was different, we tried to walk past them as if it was still my boyfriend and the girl at the desk stopped us. I said "I registered him as a guest yesterday" but she pulled out the copy of yesterday's boy's identity card and said "No, it is not the same person". Embarrassing moment, never to be repeated. That hotel was Arena Leme. On the other hand, the South American Copacabana in Copanema were just asking to get a copy of the boy's id every time I walked in with a different boy. It was a bit awkward to implicitly admit I was fucking with a different boy every day but the staff stayed very professional.

You are looking for the unicorn 😁 Boys follow customers. Remember, they have to pay for their entrance too, so that is not going to happen to them to come to a sauna with too few customers more than once, except by mistake, a mistake they will unlikely repeat. If, on a particular month, the customers are less likely to come, fewer boys will come too, to match the demand.

  27. I tried several of the shops around Saphan kwai or Sutthisan Winitchai Rd and I liked all of them except 27M Massage, where I tried two boys, both no good at all. I did not have a chance to try 15M but if it is the same management as 27M I am not surprised that it was lacking in quality. My favorite on that road is BT House Men Massage on the south side of Sutthisan Winitchai Rd. I think they really try them out themselves before letting them massage a customer (a job I would love to have!!!)

Yeah I went the first weekend night I was visiting Bogotá off and on in Jan-Feb, but did not bother for about 6 more nights it was operating when I was there and would have dropped in had I thought it’s worth the effort. Again, most of the dancers are cross-affiliated with St Moritz spa downstairs and a hook-up with a massage table is easier than an unlit tiny cubicle. I was expecting loud music based on experience but I found the strobe-lighting additionally offputting. One cute well-built dancer was worth arranging contact info. He has moved on to Theatron where I think the headliner gogos may get a house paycheque.

  36. Somjit Massage - Tukcom - Turn right at Tukcom. Somjit is 150 yards up on right hand side. If you get to Helios you've gone to far. Cost - 1 hour Oil Massage - 300. No minimum for boy Boys quality: 2 boys on duty when I got there late afternoon but was about 5 or 6 when I left. Generally youngish. Ambience: No shower offered. Room is open with 4 beds and curtains in between. Each area is very small. 1 to 2 feet of space on each side. Massage Quality: The massage was ok. The boy knew the moves but was very light touch. He also avoided all sensual areas for the first 45 minutes of the massage. No chemistry at all and when he tried to get me hard at the end I simply told him no thanks. Overall - I'm guessing it will be erratic. I'm not going to go back during this trip but I've heard others have had better luck there.

  37. Foxy Massage - Jomtien Complex - Same side of road as Zing R&S and Agate. Just before Soda Massage Cost - 1 hour Oil Massage - 300. No minimum for boy Boys quality: 8 to 10 boys. Mix of ages and types. Ambience: No shower offered. Basic room. Massage Quality: What massage !! Got into the room, the boy made a half hearted couple of rubs on my calf, moved up to my thigh and then shoved 3 fingers up my ass without so much as a by your leave. He also had nails that felt like razor blades. Suffice to say, if you want a fuck this is a poor substitute for all the boy bars in Jomtien. if you want a massage go to Soda which is 50 yards away. Overall - I'll be generous and call it crap.

Cost - 1 hour Oil Massage - 500. 1000 minimum for boy 1.5 hour Oil Massage - 700. 1200 minimum for boy 1 hour Foam Massage - 600. 1000 minimum for boy Boys quality: 5 or 6 boys. Low 20's to low 30's Ambience: Lots of stairs !! Room and separate shower. Seemed cleaner than I remember as this has always been a favorite for me. Massage Quality: I've been twice in the two weeks I've been here. Will be going again in the next couple of days for a foam massage. Massage 1 - Good massage, Sensual but also a firmish touch. Afters was BJ's. Would probably have been more had I asked. When talking afterwards he said he was versatile. Massage 2 - Very good massage with a sensual but firm touch of all areas. Took a while for him to get an erection but once he did it was really hard. He did try to top me without a condom but that was not going to happen. That seems to be far more common now than it used to be, probably due to prep and the number of farangs who don't care what STIs are spread. Overall - Still a favorite place for me. Probably not going to be a favorite for those who like 18/19 year olds or those that like the overly muscled.

  39. Personally, it's way too early for me to be handicapping Joe Biden. A lot can happen in a year. I can say that I have no issue with Biden's age, as I believe functional age is more relevant than chronological age and there are many younger politicians acting a lot goofier than Biden. I also believe that a President is not a dictator and those around her/him are just as important as the President. I can also say that I think Kamala Harris is more of a handicap than a help. Biden's best shot would be to choose a Vice-President who would make a popular President. Not that I think it would happen but Michelle Obama could probably put them both in the White House. One thing I've been watching with a bit of surprise is Biden's tracking in the Rasmussen Presidential Poll. He just hit a positive number for the first time since his six-month 'honeymoon' in 2021. I don't know why and some folks will say the Rasmussen poll is awful and tilted toward Republicans, but I follow it since it's a daily poll and I focus on the day-to-day changes rather than the absolute numbers. Finally, if you told me that Biden will be elected because of Republican misfires rather than his own achievements, I wouldn't disagree with you.

  43. In my bar-going days, when differences arose between a farang and one of the bar boys, I usually found the bar boys' versions were correct. Years ago there was a waiter at Classic Boys whom I really liked. I asked if I could off him. He seemed pleased. I said I would like it if he would bottom. He said he had little experience but would try. Did I still want to off him? I did. He certainly did his best, but being a bottom was too painful for him. So we spent the off time doing other things and I had a really enjoyable time with him. He fully deserved his tip. A few weeks later I was chatting to him in the bar. He said another English-speaking farang had offed him, again on the basis that he'd try to bottom but again after informing the farang he was inexperienced and could not guarantee it would work. The farang took him to the Suriwong Hotel short time rooms. As with me, it didn't work. The farang became angry and told him to get dressed and leave. He did not even give this very pleasant young man a tip. I agree that there are duds amongst both some boys and some customers. But I am sure they were few and far between in those days because the boys always had the mamasans whom they could report a dud customer to. Now with the apps, things have obviously changed.

  45. Gay falangs get a good deal in Thailand for 99% of the time. There's nowhere in the world where beautiful guys , a night out, good dinner and hotel are so cheap. And equally important, safe. The vast majority of us recognise this and are thankful for it. It was entirely reasonable for Min to show sensitivity and concern. There really are guys in desperate situations, the like of which few of us have faced. And sometimes we may be exploited. We make the decision to travel there, or even to live there; anyone not able to cope with the occasional (very occasional, in my twenty-five years experience) exploitative guy should stay at home and pay UK or US or European prices for beautiful guys, a night out and so on. We are in someone else's country, where the vast majority of citizens are much poorer than us. Put up with it. I hope we continue- and this forum suggests that most of us do- to take the seriously the feelings of the guys we meet, even if that sometimes makes us vulnerable to the occasional con-man. Just as Min did.

    Gigolo Erotic House

Here are my observations based on 2 visits last month (Friday and a Saturday a few weeks later). Both nights were busy. Full house/all tables busy from around 11 PM (Saturday a bit later). Entry is 15 mil until 11PM; 20 mil after 11 PM. Drinks/beverages are reasonably priced, e.g. a Club Colombia beer is 10 mil. The price for a "private show" behind the curtain is advertised at 60 mil but no first hand experience on what is actually included. The dancers/strippers vary on each night but many seem to come on a regular basis/each night. The guys will approach you for a hand shake/to say hi and small talk; in general they try to interact with the guests and are friendly and encourage touching/light groping, which should be appreaciated with small tips (2 or 5 mil note). Very few speak English so try to get by in Spanish. The guys vary in appearance from very masculine muscle guys to younger lean/fit boys with more boyish bodies (so there should be someone for every taste). In general, I find the strippers hot/looking great and sexy in their small speedos/briefs (although certainly not all of them are of my taste). The guys advertised on the webpage have not been updated, so don't expect to find the guys you have seen online to actually be there on a given night As stated above there will be a fuck show on Fridays around/after midnight (but it was nothing spectacular IMO; I enjoyed the guys dancing on the stage more); I didn't see any fuck show on Saturday (but I might have left too early). As suggested above many of the guys will open to share their Whatsapp details, so just ask if you fancy a guy and would like to connect. From personal experience, the guys I interacted with in Whatsapp subsequently were prepared to meet for private sessions at your hotel/apartment or their room (at a price of course; to be negotiated so don't accept their initial 200-300 mil offer!) In general, I enjoyed my time there (as I did in the past) and would love to go back. The ambience is very nice and the staff/guys are friendly. If you dislike loud music bring earplugs. The area (a little North of the main parts of Gaychapi) is in general safe and walkable at night, but make sure you don't cross the nearby main through road (Ave Caracas, with Transmilenio bus lanes) by accident at night.
