You know nothing about me or my politics other than that I think Ukraine has a right to defend itself. You don't know if I am left, right or center. You, on the other hand, support and make excuses for a Putin dictatorship that is threatening nuclear attack, murdering civilians including women and children, destroying civilian infrastructure, targeting hospitals, nuclear power stations, water and sanitation infrastructure as well as other war crimes. That makes you the murderous Nazi.4 points

I have no trouble acknowledging American flaws. They are quite numerous. We're a ridiculously self-righteous nation. We've pretended to high ideals and done many shitty things. But the idea that because America has been an ass repeatedly that all else is ok is moronic. All the sins of the world do not lay at our feet.3 points -

If that is what he said, that tells me all I would want to know. I would never ask a boy to do something he made clear he doesn't like. For what? The boy won't enjoy it and neither will you if you know you are making him do what he doesn't want to do. A little shopping around, including the apps, and you'll find what you want with willing boys. Don't you think willing boys would be much better? I would leave the mama-sans out of it completely. They'll want a BIG tip and they can be very good at coercing the boys to do what they don't want to do.2 points

It's my understanding that here in Thailand anyway it would be the Airbnb host who would be in trouble rather than the guest. Although I am sure it would be disruptive to one's vacation. The building where I live in the US has bylaws banning short term rentals. I think our county government outlaws them as well. So it hasn't been a problem. We also have a pretty hands-on management company running things. And the front desk staff run a fairly tight ship. For sure how your building is run makes a difference. I think my time using Airbnb may be coming to an end because there are just so many issues like this. And all of the talk about short term rentals screwing up the local housing markets. Having to sneak around using back entrances and always keeping your head down to avoid drawing attention can be a bit annoying. I stayed at an Airbnb in Melbourne several years ago that was a bit of a mess. Nice location across from the train station but for a brand new building it was in fairly poor condition in the common areas although the apartment itself was very nice and in good condition. Lots of foreign students seemed to be living there in addition to the Airbnbs. Big luggage rolling in and out every day. Long waits for elevators. My impression was that there were few owner-occupied units which is what really allows a building to go downhill.2 points

Just back from the Zoo and can report. Basically if one of their boys really catches your eye, be prepared to pay a very pretty penny, but you should get what you're looking for. The many promotions are fairly confusing, but I contacted them last evening via Line to set an appointment for today. I asked who would be on staff today and made my choice. And after asking a few questions I noted an ad for something called "Sleeping Angel" which has a very high price tag. The "regular" price is 8500 (!) but there is a promo of buy two get one, but it's really not, it's just 30% off the regular price. So 5950 (!) But I decided that I am not in Bangkok very much and who knows how much travel I will be able to do after this trip due to some family issues, so why not go big. I was informed that this price includes tip and everything so there is no extra to pay. Also it is a 2 hour scrub, oil and onsen program. He described is as a "model package". I believed I understood what that meant. I arrived shortly before the agreed time - thanks to the correspondents in this thread with respect to the location or I never would have found it. I sat in the waiting area until the boss showed up right around 2 and confirmed who I was. And then he told me that the guy I booked didn't come in today. But there is one other guy present "Neemo". He's cute enough so I was prepared to go ahead. Then he noticed that Vodka has also arrived. I am not sure what sort of animal Vodka is...some Russian thing, I suppose. Frankly Vodka doesn't photograph very well and even when he's dressed you would think he's probably 10 years older than I think he really is. I had said I would take Neemo but something got lost in translation and Vodka ended up doing the program. The boss gave me a further discount since the guy I booked was a no-show, so I appreciated that. The massage part was frankly a bit odd and nothing to write home about. He started with the salt scrub thing which wasn't bad and then told me to shower again to wash it off. Kinda tough when it's on your back - and he disappeared for a while. I laid back down on the bed thing which was another disappointment because I much prefer a proper massage table with a face cradle. He eventually came back and did a very basic oil massage on my legs and back before asking me to flip over. He massaged the front for a while and he was dressed in their uniform the whole time. Then he said the magic words "you want body to body?" Yes, I do. And then things went from there. He's a nice boy but I'm not sure massage is really his forte. If you're looking for a real, proper massage, search elsewhere. He does have impossibly smooth and soft skin though. I was satisfied in the end, but just, thanks to the extra discount. After we finished he told me to shower again (on my own) and then moved me to another room to soak in their "onsen" which is just a big wooden bathtub for one. So, mixed feelings really. I think maybe later in the day there are more guys there. There is one other boy I have had my eye on so I might blow another large chunk of change to spend a little time in his company as well. If you want more than a massage I think "Sleeping Angel" is what you basically need to go for. But yes, I acknowledge it is a crazy amount for this sort of thing, however if you get a promo rate it's not awful and it is a 2 hour program even if you spend the last 30 minutes of that soaking in the tub alone.2 points

War sucks. America's record is nothing to be proud of. We get fed a lot of propaganda about how great and noble and pure we are. We aren't. We're pretty mud splattered with espoused ideals that we frequently fail to live up to. Hell, right now many republicans don't even bother to espouse the ideals of democracy and freedom. But, if you think this is somehow new or different, you're naïve as fuck. We all believe lies about ourselves and always have. But, Putin is a monster, and those in Russia who elected him repeatedly until he became absolute dictator, and then believe the lies they are told get to live the consequences of that. Kids in Russia who volunteer based on their idiocy reap the consequences of that idiocy. Our failings don't excuse other monstrosities. I will never understand people's love of 'strong men'. Why is it that people think that if they give all the power to the biggest bully around that it will end well for anybody except the bully? Our best feature is that whoever the guy in charge is, he never stays long enough to gain enough power to allow him to let his own personal whims command the nation. Hopefully we will keep staggering towards our ideals. At the moment, it feels like we've taken a break to puke in the gutter. I hope we get up and carry on.2 points

Do you not even read what you write? You called news in the US "propaganda narratives," and use Noam Chomsky to support your narrative. I can't believe he's still alive, in any case. Anyone familiar with Fox News and MSNBC knows that the news in the US present widely diverging opinions--just not so far as holocaust denial, such as promoted by Chomsky. It's preposterous to believe that news in the US is a "government narrative," unlike in Russia (or China), where the press is only allowed to present the leader's views (and live). When was the last time the US government threw a reporter out a multi-story building's window?2 points -
Why don't we post Grindr profiles?
Ryanqqq and one other reacted to ChristianPFC for a topic
There is a sub-forum, accessible only to members, on sawatdeenetwork, where we discuss service providers. But it's not popular. With some of my Farang friends, we discuss the boys we meet extensively. I would like to read such reports, but it does not seem popular on the forums. I did my part of sharing, now let others do the same (e.g. the OP, where is your contribution?). Such information can save a lot of time and money, and indeed did for me and friends. Fortunately, most of my encounters are of a way that I would meet the guy again, and if the encounter is not what I'm looking for, it's not his fault and I would recommend him to friends. But some are useless in bed, various issues/problems/troubles, I would post that as well to save others the expense and disappointment. Grindr is poor for this subject, because there is no way to link to a profile (whereas in hornet, blued, romeo you can link or search by name).2 points -

From CNN Travel Air New Zealand's "Skynest" economy sleeping concept is among the shortlisted entries for this year's Crystal Cabin Awards. From a cabin concept that completely eradicates the middle seat to a swanky design that takes single-aisle aircraft business class to a new level, this year’s Crystal Cabin Awards shortlist offers an exciting glimpse at aviation’s potential future. Every year the Crystal Cabin Awards showcase innovative ideas that reconceptualize the airplane cabin experience. There are eight categories, with awards spotlighting everything from eco-friendly innovations – such as an AI-based food waste app idea from German airline Lufthansa – to next generation concepts straight from the university classroom. Julia Grosser, a spokesperson for the Crystal Cabin Award Association, says this year’s shortlist suggests aviation is turning a corner after the uncertainty of the peak pandemic years. “Airlines, manufacturers, and suppliers are heavily investing in their onboard products again,” Grosser tells CNN Travel, pointing to the “significant innovation visible even in economy class – from bunk beds to better connectivity.” Among the shortlisted cabin innovations is Air New Zealand’s “Skynest” concept, which envisages bookable sleeping pods made up of six lie-flat bunk beds, designed to give economy long-haul passengers the opportunity to get some proper shuteye. “Being a small country at the bottom of the world, long-haul travel is vital to keeping us connected and allowing tourists to visit our beautiful country,” Kerry Reeves, Air New Zealand’s head of aircraft programs, tells CNN Travel. The motivation behind SkyNest is Air New Zealand’s belief that passengers should be able to “get a good rest, no matter the cabin,” as Reeves puts it. Over the years, I had three boys stay with me for days. That was not based primarily on money, although I paid for all expenses and gave them pocket money 300-500 per day. All cases quickly turned sour for different ideas of how to spend the day, what to do in bed, where and when and what to eat, where to go for sightseeing. In one case, the boy was new to Bangkok and had no own room and thought he could stay with me undetermined time, I had to flee: trip to Udon Thani (alone, the boy wanted to join but I made up an excuse) and gave him two days notice. Nowadays, I even refuse overnights (again speaking of free encounters) when there is no clear plan for the following day from the boy's side. But there is one I invited to stay with me 3 days 2 nights and all went fine, and I know some more I would invite. But all cases that I have met several times before and we have shared interests.1 point -

Yes it is awful by my standards. As a counterexample, I currently have two regulars who come to my room for 1000 for one hour Thai massage (they would do oil as well, but I don't want oil on my bedlinen) and fun afterwards. The equivalent of empty stage in a gogo bar. Some gogo have minutes of gap between acts, and many years ago Adam's Apple in Chiang Mai even had the audacity to play music videos from youtube to entertain the customers while stage is empty. Back to Zoo Spa, shower alone and soaking in hot tub alone I can do at home for much cheaper (figuratively, I don't have a hot tub but there are general saunas in Thailand that have). In some Saphan Khwai / Inthamara massage places it's standard that the masseur washes you in shower after massage (I don't know if it's policy of the place or the masseur's decision).1 point -

Putin is a weak leader who was installed by the US as a puppet and he is seen as weak by the Russian people. He did nothing when the US killed 200 Russians in one day when they attacked ISIS. He played around with Trump when the US did that and while Zelensky was killing 14,000 ethnic Russians in Donbas. The opposition to him is much harsher on the war with the US and Ukraine. Language is very hard to learn for adults. That part of the mind loses its strength in adulthood. If I ever had a kid to raise, I would make them learn as much language as possible in childhood when the mind is malleable enough that it just all soaks in easily. Will Disneyworld become a rightwing destination?

ORLANDO (The Borowitz Report) Ron DeSantis has unveiled an ambitious plan to raze Disney World and replace it with a “Dilbert”-themed attraction. The new theme park, tentatively called Dilbert World, will attract “millions of Americans deprived of their favorite comic strip by the left-wing media Reich,” the Florida governor said. Calling the new tourist destination “a woke-free zone,” DeSantis promised, “Parents who go to Dilbert World can rest assured that their children will not be exposed to the vile multicultural propaganda that it’s a small world, after all.” DeSantis was vague about what kind of rides might be featured in Dilbert World, saying only that “they will probably involve cubicles.”1 point -

Uganda's crack down on gays
Ruthrieston reacted to Londoner for a topic
https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2023/mar/14/lgbtq-crackdowns-uganda-environment-hostile Anti-gay hatred is not "natural" in Africa, There is plenty of evidence of its prevalence in African societies well before the arrival of western missionaries and colonists. It needs to be remembered that US evangelical preachers, with huge financial backing, have been creating and subsidising churches there for decades which, like similar ones in the US, even now are asserting that same sex love is "unbiblical" and wealth is "good." The "prosperity gospel" . In a financially-deprived society it is an even more potent doctrine than in the US, where millionaire televangelists boast of their private jets. while speculating what terrors they would enjoy imposing on people like us Perhaps it is unfair also to note that that some of these same preachers have sometimes been caught in seedy hotels with rent boys. Or indeed women.1 point -

Belo Horizonte Feb. 2023
JKane reacted to endlessdream for a topic
Here is a brief report on Belo Horizonte. (Upon re-reading the report below I’ve realized how drunk I was while I wrote it on my flight back to Paris. Lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoy:) I was there for 5 days, stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. 40k points in total so 8k (about 30 usd) per night, which is a steal. The hotel is in a higher middle class area, 10 minutes walk south of Contorno (ring road), with nice shops and restaurants around. It might not be as commercial as Savassi area, where the Holiday Inn is, but it sufficed for me. By the way, in terms of international hotels, these two are as good as it gets in BH. The touristic interests of BH is limited. The museums around Liberty Circle are surprisingly well appointed. Some buildings of Niemeyer in the center are worth a glimpse. Ouro Preto is cute but seriously over rated. Any city over 200k inhabitants in Europe would a more decent old town. I was just there for a day trop. One mirante, two churches and three museums took me 5 hours. If not for a last minute hookup, I’d be bored to tears there. Personally I don’t consider the mineiros the best looking, nor the most hung of all. They are friendly, with mild demeanor and a laidback attitude. This was especially enjoyable in a non-GP sauna. I visited Tres Chic, and scored 3 guys under an hour. Great facility, clean, functioning, with about 30 clean and free cabines upstairs. There were about 100 guys in that Sunday afternoon. The clientele is mostly next door type aging from 30 to 50, very easy to approach. I picked those 3 that I considered the best looking and most hung, one Northern European, one Latino and one afro. None of them resisted. I almost feared that they were gonna charge me something. No, they were just nice to this lost Asian visitor. The first one cum before me, very apologizing. The second one made me cum without finishing up. The afro synchronized perfectly with me and we remained chatting quite a while after. I sized up lots of guys’ cocks there and most of them rang from 15cm to 18cm. Those 3 I picked were 18, 20, 21cm. There were about 3 very young guys there. Scarily young. One was constantly sitting in a dark corner in from of the glory hole entrance. I suppose that he was waiting for mouthy delicacies. One I really wanted to kiss but he disappeared after I finished my 3rd. I shouldn’t have hesitated. Guys don’t remove their towels, not even in the saunas. You really have to walk to them and size it up yourself. The only complain I have is that cellphones are not allowed inside. And that was the very reason I left after merely 1 hour. I did meet lots of free Grindr guys, about 3 per day. One cute bottom was delicious! He came directly from the gym in front of the hotel. He rode my cock like a champ and cum hands free. The most incredible find was on the second last day, an half afro, one quarter indigenous, one quarter European. We talked on Grindr, met in front of the Sanctuario Sao Jose, and walked in the city park while having long chats about everything and nothing. He came with me to the hotel, stayed with me till my cab ride to the airport. His 24 cm cock was one of the most enjoyable ones I have ever had in my ass. We kept in contact and I’m sure I’ll see him again. I brought him to Olympos. We watched the show there, had some drinks and had some light snacks. The Kibe was really good m. There were about 3 or 4 boys I could have hired, but they all lost their lusters compared to my companion. The boys were friendly without being pushy. They all came to introduce themselves, showed off their merchandise, then left us alone. The asking price was 150 and I’m positively sure they’d accept 100. None of them had a cock over 22 cm, and all of them claimed to be top. I’m not sure I would want to go back to BH but I definitely don’t regret that I went there.1 point -
