  1. Putin and his supporters, like yourself, are the ones who are pro war. I in no way support any war. I do support the rights of the people of Ukraine to defend themselves against annihilation by Putin.

  6. Lagoa is in Consolacao, THE gayborhood of SP and one of its main entertainment districts, gay or straight. It's very lively, lots of restaurants, barbers, juice shops, etc. It edges up to Avenida Paulista, SP's Park Avenue, on the other side of which is Jardims, an upper-class neighborhood holding the city's best restaurants and shopping. Two major subway lines cross this area. The sauna is a 10-minute walk from your choice of 3 metro stations. Lagoa might not be right anymore (for those of us who remember the old version) but it's in the right place.

  8. From The Star VIENTIANE, March 14 (Laotian Times): TUI Care Foundation announced a new EUR10 million (US$10.5 million) project to assist nine least-developed countries, including Laos, in growing their tourism industries at the fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5) conference on Tuesday. Program Director of the TUI Care Foundation, Jost Neumann was at the conference to discuss a global partnership to implement the 10-year Doha Program of Action to accelerate the graduation of least developed countries from their categorization as the most vulnerable places in the world. At the event, he spoke to Vientiane Times about the Tourist Development Fund initiated to assist nine least-developed countries, including Laos. “We are launching today the Tourism Development Fund, which targets nine least developed countries, one of which is Laos. We look to implement the project in these nine countries until 2030,” said Neumann. Neumann added that the Foundation had learned that Laos has huge tourism development potential thanks to the country’s striking landscapes and central location in the Mekong region, adding that tourism development can make a significant contribution to economic growth and poverty alleviation in Laos. He pointed out that Laos’s main challenges are the lack of a skilled workforce and the innovation and entrepreneurship needed to unlock the potential for tourism growth, which also applies to other developing countries. The support program’s main focus will be capacity building, specifically strengthening tourism-related education, conserving cultural assets and natural beauty, and enhancing tourism entrepreneurship in small and medium-sized businesses. In preparation for hosting the Asean Summit in 2024, the government of Laos will also declare 2023–2024 as a Tourism Year and will implement extensive measures to promote the country and draw in tourists. - Laotian Times

  11. Factually wrong, as I'm fairly sure you know. First of all, the "vote" in the Donbas occurred only after the Russian invasion, with "voters" under the watchful eyes of armed Russian soldiers. https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/23/europe/occupied-ukraine-referendum-russia-intl-hnk/index.html Secondly, that agreement was never passed in the first place: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agreement_on_settlement_of_political_crisis_in_Ukraine Russian Federation: Refused to sign What Russia did agree to was to respect the 1994 borders in return for Ukraine surrendering their nuclear weapons to Russia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Memorandum#:~:text=The "Budapest Memorandum" is actually,States%2C United Kingdom and Russia. According to the three memoranda,[6] Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia, and that they agreed to the following: Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.[7] Refrain from the threat or the use of force against the signatory. Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by the signatory of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind. Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to the signatory if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against the signatory. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments

  12. When did this invasion happen? Zelensky did not regain an inch of the Donbas for Ukraine prior to February 2022, although there was occasional flare-ups of fighting and shelling at the front line during his Presidency, as there had been several times since 2014. The deaths caused by these flare-ups were much lower that the average casualties at the front between 2014 and when Zelensky was inaugurated. If you mean after February 2022, what you are talking about is Zelensky leading the fightback against the Russian invasion of that month, to call THAT an "invasion of Donbas" is self-evidently ludicrous.

  14. You're stating the complete opposite of the truth. The truth is that Russia and Ukraine signed a treaty in which Ukraine got rid of its nukes in exchange for Russia accepting Urkaine's borders, then Russia (Putin) invaded Ukraine--first Crimea and then eastern Ukraine. As you know, not only have Ukrainians not persecuted Jews, but they elected one for President. You speak as a shill for RT, and it sounds as though you'd be happier living in Russia, which might be a good idea.

    45 days visa exempt

Late last week Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Yuthasak Supasorn made this observation on the possible extension of the 45-day VOA: "If the government continues their scheme of extending tourist visas and visas on arrival, from 30 to 45 days and 15 to 30 days, the TAT believes people will take advantage and stay in Thailand for longer. But the scheme’s extension from March 31 to the end of the year still requires cabinet approval. And, if the plight of foreigners sticking it out in Thailand during the pandemic showed us anything, approval often comes a day or two before visa programs expire or even later."

  17. What utter rubbish. If these troops are in Ukraine as part of an invading force then that is Putin's choice and their deaths are on his head. They are part of an invasion deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure (aka war crimes). Just as the defenestrations, poisonings and deaths of oligarchs and senior military people who speak out against the Ukraine invasion are Putin's responsibility, not US or NATOs. Picking out family pictures and making out that people wanting Ukraine to be able to defend itself are intent on the individual deaths of happy, smiling troops is both ridiculous and offensive.

  19. From The Nation Bangkok opened its newest park on Monday, aiming to serve as an exercise space for over 800,000 people in the city’s central business district. The catchily named National Sports Development Fund-Sports Authority of Thailand (NSDF-SAT) Park links three city parks – Benchakitti, Benchakitti Forest and Lumphini – to provide a green jogging and exercise route through the city centre. The park/route uses 5 rai (0.8 hectares) of the three parks, plus the so-called “green mile” elevated walkway that links Benchakitti and Lumphini parks. It’s located on the road next to the Tobacco Authority of Thailand in Khlong Toei district, accessible by both Rama IV and Sukhumvit roads. BTS Skytrain users can get there via either Phloen Chit or Asok stations, while the closest MRT stations are Khlong Toei, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre or Lumphini. NSDF manager Supranee Guptasa said the new facility aims to be a “running park” that promotes exercise among people in Phloen Chit, Sukhumvit, Khlong Toei, Rama IV, and Silom areas. “There are over 600,000 office workers in these areas, plus 240,000 local residents that will benefit from the park, which offers a convenient location for exercise after people finish their daily activities,” she said. The NSDF-SAT Park features a running route that connects Lumphini, Benchakitti, and Benchakitti Forest parks, allowing up to 4,000 runners to enjoy a long, challenging track amid a variety of landscapes. Facilities along the way include a fitness centre, locker cabinets, drinking fountains, toilets, CCTV surveillance, and wheelchair ramps. NSDF-SAT Park is open daily from 5am to 10pm. 20. Dude. You previously promoted the idea that elections are freer in Russia than they are in the USA, now you're saying the press is freer in Russia? The country in which countless reporters (and others) who have been critical of the government get unceremoniously thrown out of windows, poisoned, and shot? That's not even mentioning what happens to even apolitical gay people. If that's really what you believe, I really don't understand why you don't live there. 22. From the BBC Indonesian island Bali is planning to ban foreign tourists from using motorbikes after a spate of cases involving people breaking traffic laws. "You [should] not roam about the island using motorbikes, without wearing shirts or clothes, no helmet, and even without a licence," Governor I Wayan Koster said. Tourists will instead get around on vehicles provided by travel agents. The plan has been divisive as tourism continues to recover from Covid losses. More than 171 foreign nationals have violated traffic orders from late February to early March, according to local police records. Some tourists also use fake licence plates. "If you are a tourist, then act like a tourist," said the governor. Foreign tourists in Bali often prefer renting motorbikes to get around the island, which does not have a well-developed public transport system. The two-wheelers make for a good option for weaving in and out of traffic, as well as travelling through scenic back alleys. The proposed ban will be implemented via a regional law sometime this year, but how it will be enforced is unclear.

  29. If that's true, and you sure know a lot more of the history than I do, a ceasefire makes a lot of sense. It also makes sense just to stop the destruction of communities and whole cities. No one should have to live with bombs going off around them all day. And I sure can't say that sending weapons to Ukraine is doing anything to stop this destruction. Unless one day Putin decides to call everyone back home and let Ukraine start to rebuild. I guess that's the only hope and, as of today, it seems pretty much of a long shot. Im my opinion, I think the U. S. had a better standing in the world when it was begged to intervene rather than when it waded in uninvited and certainly when it waded in to gain more power. Power, in my opinion, is something to be avoided and handled judiciously when it can't be avoided. I guess it's possible to stop sending arms to Ukraine and ask our allies to do the same. It would also be possible to look the other way if Putin starts bombing every other country that he sees as part of Mother Russia. We could just wait to see what happens. We could even further that approach and become neutral, isolationist and uninvolved anywhere outside our borders. That was the position of the US throughout much of its history, and it could be again. We could also stop funding the military and start dismantling our nuclear arsenal. We could keep our fingers crossed that no other country would walk, float and fly in to help themselves to whatever they like. Personally, I wouldn't kill anybody over ownership of a laptop or even a house. I expect most of my fellow humans feel the same way. Here at home, I can vote and support leaders who share my values. But I can't vote Putin out, no matter how many lives he destroys. It seems my only tool, besides denial, is to support those who want to get rid of him. Not a good option, and I'm sure I'm missing some better ones.

  32. There is a sub-forum, accessible only to members, on sawatdeenetwork, where we discuss service providers. But it's not popular. With some of my Farang friends, we discuss the boys we meet extensively. I would like to read such reports, but it does not seem popular on the forums. I did my part of sharing, now let others do the same (e.g. the OP, where is your contribution?). Such information can save a lot of time and money, and indeed did for me and friends. Fortunately, most of my encounters are of a way that I would meet the guy again, and if the encounter is not what I'm looking for, it's not his fault and I would recommend him to friends. But some are useless in bed, various issues/problems/troubles, I would post that as well to save others the expense and disappointment. Grindr is poor for this subject, because there is no way to link to a profile (whereas in hornet, blued, romeo you can link or search by name).

  36. I was there in December, 2021. I like the guys at Aquarius actually, but as others have pointed out there are no comfortable rooms to have sex in. ( I noticed in Colombia the saunas had a full size room and bed you could ask for and after the first time, I always did). Airbnb is the best choice in terms of having a visitor and some/lots of the guys at Aquarius would be up for that. Very few of the guys on Hunqz or Rentmen returned my messages or if they did it was just a hostile response wanting to know how I got their number. I did meet up with one, but it took a lot of messages and was totally worth it, he was wonderful. On previous visits, the sex was good with escorts, but lots of pressure for more money. One came, put his dick back in my mouth and came again in about five minutes. And then demanded a lot more money. He was rough and aggressive so I just paid. Never came close in any of the hammams. At one in a hotel there was only the masseur and some young male friends of his, they were probably drinking and were pretty goofy... prompting some pretty lurid fantasies on my part, but nothing. I've only tried to get for-pay guys. You might have better luck with regular guys in the gay venues such as they are. There are hot men there though, if you are happy just admiring. I've always stayed near the Aquarius and never saw what appeared to be a bad neighbourhood, there are old neighbourhoods that might look sketchy, but seemed to have younger, more affluent residents. I've seen stray dogs, but none were aggressive. I wouldn't try to pet one, though.

  44. The Boys I did not off any guys from the Clubs this time. All my meetings were arranged by intros on Grindr. My hook ups varied between slim to muscular to athletic guys. One is a soldier; he was really handsome! I met up with him towards the end of my trip. I would have definitely had some repeats with him, if I had met him earlier. Well, a reason to go back to Bangkok within next few months! Two of the other boys were from Vietnam. They all spoke good English, so it was easy to communicate and chat with them. For massage at a shop, I went to Senso and chose a tall handsome guy, who was smiling at me (took the advice of other members). Others have described the routine at Senso: shower alone first, massage, the fun part and then shower together. I would go back to this masseur the next time I’m in Bangkok. The other massage sessions were in my room.

  45. Clubs Hot Male: I visited Hot Male on the 1st night I was in Bangkok. Entrance was 400 Baht. I went soon after the show had started. On that day, the place was almost full, but not packed. Almost 40% of those in the audience that day were women. There were about 15 guys on the stage, wide range to suit most. They were all wearing sweatpants and most wearing T-shirts. Hardly anyone was smiling; they looked bored. For me, the show was OK. I visited Hot Male again towards the end of my trip. This time, there were very few women, and the choice of boys was not as good as the previous visit. The good-looking ones may have been “offed” already. Fresh Boys: I visited the Club after seeing the show at Hot Male on Day 1. Entrance was also 400 Baht. There were about 20 guys on stage, all wearing sweats and most wearing Ts. There were fewer women here and the place was about half full. Here, there were more smiles on the faces of the boys, compared to Hot Male. There was even a greater variety of guys here, some past their prime as go-go boys. They had their “cock show” as part of their overall show. Again, show was OK. Dream Boys I patronized Dream Boys 3 times during this trip. Cover charge was 500 Baht for the 2 times and 550 Baht on a Monday (not sure why the difference). Each time, the place was about half full. There were about 25 guys parading on stage each time, before and after the main show. They were all in briefs. Just before the start of the main show, 9 of the boys danced very well to upbeat music, and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. Of the Clubs I visited this time, I saw the most smiles here. There was a good selection and variety in the boys. I would say this Club had the best entertainment out of the 4 Clubs I went to this time. Each time, there were slightly different routines. The costumes, which one can write home about, were also different each time. When performing, the guys were in sync during their dance performance. They put on a very decent performance. While the shows here are raunchier than at Moonlight, it almost seemed like the choreographer from Moonlight had moved to Dream Boys. The shows at Moonlight were great during past visits. Moonlight For old times sake, I visited Moonlight to see their show and their “models”. Cover charge was 450 Baht. The boys at Moonlight are good looking. However, except for a few, there weren’t many smiles on their faces. I used to enjoy their shows, but I was quite disappointed this time around. As mentioned above, I found the show at Dream Boys much better. One of the top models at Moonlight (let’s call him B) seems to have lost his touch, in my view. To me, B was one of the best performers there in the past, but no more. He even looked different this time. On the other hand, I found the other model, lets call him N, looking better as he is no longer buffed up, but still in decent shape. I only went to Moonlight once as I didn’t enjoy my time there as much this time. Based on some of the comments posted by other Members, I skipped Jupiter this time. General comment: I found the temperature pleasant at all 4 clubs, not very cool, as in previous times. The sound was also bearable, not very loud as to burst your ear drums. On the aside, I went to the famous Foodland, after visiting a Club, and it was bone chilling cold that night in one section.

Funny thing is the non hustlers were all sound and made good connections there. Including a Dominican guy who was naked except for socks. Kind of wacky and unexpected but he was well built and a lovely well formed ass. the apps: unfriggingbeleivable. Lots of great guys not just looking for money but heavily towards the prepago side of life. One guy asked for $250 Cine Lido hot and atmosphere thick with sexual energy stopped into a colmado for a Cuba libre en route. The action was at the sides half way down where the walls kink in. Still I"m going to try my best to follow your advice, even after having spent this time scoping out guys online and looking forward to meeting some of them. Hopefully I go to the sauna and realize there are just as attractive guys there as some of the guys I've found online and then just have my fun in the sauna or with guys from the sauna. Likely I'll also have a couple hookups from guys I meet on Grindr or out at night. Normally Brazilians tend like me (because I'm a ginger which is apparently exotic), and the feeling is definitely mutual! I'm pretty confident now that even my idiot self won't mess things up too much and I'm going to have a great time in Brazil and enjoy some new experiences.
