45 days visa exempt
floridarob and 2 others reacted to reader for a topic
Late last week Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Yuthasak Supasorn made this observation on the possible extension of the 45-day VOA: "If the government continues their scheme of extending tourist visas and visas on arrival, from 30 to 45 days and 15 to 30 days, the TAT believes people will take advantage and stay in Thailand for longer. But the scheme’s extension from March 31 to the end of the year still requires cabinet approval. And, if the plight of foreigners sticking it out in Thailand during the pandemic showed us anything, approval often comes a day or two before visa programs expire or even later."3 points -

Last prices I have heard from staff in Bangkok gogo bars before Covid was more often 2000 than 1500 for short time. That's why I take all my business to Pattaya (1000 short time in Sunee or online, everyone eager to go with me again) or online (in Bangkok 1000, those who want more, good luck with someone else). For massage with happy ending (handjob or blowjob) I pay 800 in Bangkok, that means I don't go to Silom (where prices are higher and it's a matter of luck if there is a happy ending, and price and activities have to be negotiated), but to Saphan Khwai and Inthamara.3 points -

When traveling best to stick to the local laws, and keep yourself out of trouble.... Short term Airbnb bookings are illegal.. Avoid them. Gogo bars, illegal. Prostitution, illegal. Watching porn, illegal. Sex toys, illegal. Buying booze after midnight at stores, illegal. Drinking after 2am, illegal. Electronic cigarettes, illegal. Going outside without wearing underwear (under your pants/shorts) illegal... I bet a missed a few. But don't worry, you can sit on the balcony in your hotel, smoke drugs (cannabis), and masturbate with only your imagination. Best to stay out of trouble.... I love Thailand haha.2 points -

What utter rubbish. If these troops are in Ukraine as part of an invading force then that is Putin's choice and their deaths are on his head. They are part of an invasion deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure (aka war crimes). Just as the defenestrations, poisonings and deaths of oligarchs and senior military people who speak out against the Ukraine invasion are Putin's responsibility, not US or NATOs. Picking out family pictures and making out that people wanting Ukraine to be able to defend itself are intent on the individual deaths of happy, smiling troops is both ridiculous and offensive.2 points -

Belo Horizonte Feb. 2023
JKane and one other reacted to endlessdream for a topic
Here is a brief report on Belo Horizonte. (Upon re-reading the report below I’ve realized how drunk I was while I wrote it on my flight back to Paris. Lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoy:) I was there for 5 days, stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. 40k points in total so 8k (about 30 usd) per night, which is a steal. The hotel is in a higher middle class area, 10 minutes walk south of Contorno (ring road), with nice shops and restaurants around. It might not be as commercial as Savassi area, where the Holiday Inn is, but it sufficed for me. By the way, in terms of international hotels, these two are as good as it gets in BH. The touristic interests of BH is limited. The museums around Liberty Circle are surprisingly well appointed. Some buildings of Niemeyer in the center are worth a glimpse. Ouro Preto is cute but seriously over rated. Any city over 200k inhabitants in Europe would a more decent old town. I was just there for a day trop. One mirante, two churches and three museums took me 5 hours. If not for a last minute hookup, I’d be bored to tears there. Personally I don’t consider the mineiros the best looking, nor the most hung of all. They are friendly, with mild demeanor and a laidback attitude. This was especially enjoyable in a non-GP sauna. I visited Tres Chic, and scored 3 guys under an hour. Great facility, clean, functioning, with about 30 clean and free cabines upstairs. There were about 100 guys in that Sunday afternoon. The clientele is mostly next door type aging from 30 to 50, very easy to approach. I picked those 3 that I considered the best looking and most hung, one Northern European, one Latino and one afro. None of them resisted. I almost feared that they were gonna charge me something. No, they were just nice to this lost Asian visitor. The first one cum before me, very apologizing. The second one made me cum without finishing up. The afro synchronized perfectly with me and we remained chatting quite a while after. I sized up lots of guys’ cocks there and most of them rang from 15cm to 18cm. Those 3 I picked were 18, 20, 21cm. There were about 3 very young guys there. Scarily young. One was constantly sitting in a dark corner in from of the glory hole entrance. I suppose that he was waiting for mouthy delicacies. One I really wanted to kiss but he disappeared after I finished my 3rd. I shouldn’t have hesitated. Guys don’t remove their towels, not even in the saunas. You really have to walk to them and size it up yourself. The only complain I have is that cellphones are not allowed inside. And that was the very reason I left after merely 1 hour. I did meet lots of free Grindr guys, about 3 per day. One cute bottom was delicious! He came directly from the gym in front of the hotel. He rode my cock like a champ and cum hands free. The most incredible find was on the second last day, an half afro, one quarter indigenous, one quarter European. We talked on Grindr, met in front of the Sanctuario Sao Jose, and walked in the city park while having long chats about everything and nothing. He came with me to the hotel, stayed with me till my cab ride to the airport. His 24 cm cock was one of the most enjoyable ones I have ever had in my ass. We kept in contact and I’m sure I’ll see him again. I brought him to Olympos. We watched the show there, had some drinks and had some light snacks. The Kibe was really good m. There were about 3 or 4 boys I could have hired, but they all lost their lusters compared to my companion. The boys were friendly without being pushy. They all came to introduce themselves, showed off their merchandise, then left us alone. The asking price was 150 and I’m positively sure they’d accept 100. None of them had a cock over 22 cm, and all of them claimed to be top. I’m not sure I would want to go back to BH but I definitely don’t regret that I went there.2 points -

Who bombed the Nord Stream?

From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon In spite of many predictions and promises, there is still no final Cabinet approval for the long-anticipated high-speed train network linking the two Bangkok airports with the now-expanded U-tapao airport near Rayong. According to the Eastern Economic Corridor, which sponsors Thai and foreign mega-projects, a final sign-off will be left to the government incoming after the general election expected in May. There still needs to be negotiation about construction and expropriation of property details. The 220-billion baht project will allow super-fast, express trains to travel at speeds up to 250 km per hour. Supporters of the project envision a Chinese model in which sleek trains will pinball around the country, reducing road traffic logjams and enabling tourists, business people and freight to reach their destinations fast. Critics say that China is a much bigger country and that the high cost over relatively-short distances in Thailand poses quite different issues, including anticipated fare costs to the general public. Although some property gurus say that the rising price of property in the eastern provinces (which include Pattaya and Rayong) is dependent on a fast-train future, others deny the claim. Colliers International, for instance, points out that the property market is being driven by real demand and good roads between cities to transport goods and people. The consensus view is that the rail project will go ahead but that the first trains are unlikely to run before 2028 at the earliest.1 point

Getting a consular visa is hella more complicated than the e-visa was or will be when reinstated. Not the least of which is the aggravation of your passport leaving your possession temporarily. How much replenished staffing at BRZ consulates in Canada will occur to accommodate in-person and/or postal mail consular visa application is uncertain. Staffing was slashed concomitant with e-visa and then visa waiver. Serving Canadians in a staffed environment was virtually eliminated and services were oriented to that remaining part geared to Brazilian nationals in Canada. The e-visa option is simpler and there will be resistance to funding manpower for two systems simply to accommodate a 2-choice prerogative for applicants. The e-visa likely has a globally coordinated digital processing centre as opposed to running through several regional consulate offices throughout the 4 affected nations. Recent CoV-related transient travel hassles (eg, testing and insurance add-ons) to Brazil far outweigh the e-visa aggravation in terms of both labour and costs. Me and travel companions required e-visas for visiting Argentine section of Iguassu Falls. Same idea; fairly simple. —— I pulled up two old 2018 Brazil e-visa threads under LatinAmer heading, by posting brief current replies, in order to be contemporaneous in thread order with the current new Gay Brazil thread.1 point

You're stating the complete opposite of the truth. The truth is that Russia and Ukraine signed a treaty in which Ukraine got rid of its nukes in exchange for Russia accepting Urkaine's borders, then Russia (Putin) invaded Ukraine--first Crimea and then eastern Ukraine. As you know, not only have Ukrainians not persecuted Jews, but they elected one for President. You speak as a shill for RT, and it sounds as though you'd be happier living in Russia, which might be a good idea.1 point -

3 times as many were killed within USSR alone: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_repression_in_the_Soviet_Union Russia has already been defeated in the Cold War - that’s what, clearly, you and (Lilli)Putin cannot get over. You’re not the superpower anymore, but rather one of the emerging economies along with countries and races you do despise (BRICS) - you are not the leader even in that group, but rather are becoming China’s client state. And don’t get me started on the prejudice in the Russia’s establishment, as well as demeaning treatment of the peoples within the Federation, little less of other races. There are very specific Russian words that don’t even exist in English describing races by color of one’s behind, or shape of one’s eyes. But his can one expect you to like others when you don’t even like each other. Here is a quote by a famous Russian: “Помяните мое слово, если Россия от чего-то погибнет, то исключительно от хамства! Хам на хаме сидит и хамом погоняет! Сверху донизу сплошные хамы!” (“Mark my words, if there’s a demise of Russia, it will be exclusively from rudeness! Eating I visited the restaurant in Foodland, that has been mentioned several times by other members. I went there for breakfast the first morning in BKK. Cost was very reasonable, as has been mentioned, but I found the portions too big for me, so food went to waste. Following days, I went to a coffee shop in the Silom Complex, in Chamchuri Square and other shops near by. I also went to the Crackhouse (what a name!) for delicious pancakes. It is located in the Commons on Sala Daeng Road. Dinners were at a mix of restaurants – Thai, Indian, fast food (had to try the chicken at Texas Chicken!). Al Saray restaurant on Silom near the Sala Daeng BTS Station was a new find for me. They serve Indian and Lebanese food. I had one of the best biryanis there. I also visited G’s (mentioned by @vinapu in his posts). Went there twice on subsequent days. Went alone one day and had their chicken with cashews. On that day, it was delicious. My Filipino friend also wanted to go there, so we went there the next day. And the same dish was not that great. Quite dry, less tasty and I had an upset stomach after eating there. Not sure what really caused that. It is always a treat eating Thai dishes in the different restaurants. All (except for one day) are pretty good and quite reasonably priced.1 point

The Boys I did not off any guys from the Clubs this time. All my meetings were arranged by intros on Grindr. My hook ups varied between slim to muscular to athletic guys. One is a soldier; he was really handsome! I met up with him towards the end of my trip. I would have definitely had some repeats with him, if I had met him earlier. Well, a reason to go back to Bangkok within next few months! Two of the other boys were from Vietnam. They all spoke good English, so it was easy to communicate and chat with them. For massage at a shop, I went to Senso and chose a tall handsome guy, who was smiling at me (took the advice of other members). Others have described the routine at Senso: shower alone first, massage, the fun part and then shower together. I would go back to this masseur the next time I’m in Bangkok. The other massage sessions were in my room.1 point

Clubs Hot Male: I visited Hot Male on the 1st night I was in Bangkok. Entrance was 400 Baht. I went soon after the show had started. On that day, the place was almost full, but not packed. Almost 40% of those in the audience that day were women. There were about 15 guys on the stage, wide range to suit most. They were all wearing sweatpants and most wearing T-shirts. Hardly anyone was smiling; they looked bored. For me, the show was OK. I visited Hot Male again towards the end of my trip. This time, there were very few women, and the choice of boys was not as good as the previous visit. The good-looking ones may have been “offed” already. Fresh Boys: I visited the Club after seeing the show at Hot Male on Day 1. Entrance was also 400 Baht. There were about 20 guys on stage, all wearing sweats and most wearing Ts. There were fewer women here and the place was about half full. Here, there were more smiles on the faces of the boys, compared to Hot Male. There was even a greater variety of guys here, some past their prime as go-go boys. They had their “cock show” as part of their overall show. Again, show was OK. Dream Boys I patronized Dream Boys 3 times during this trip. Cover charge was 500 Baht for the 2 times and 550 Baht on a Monday (not sure why the difference). Each time, the place was about half full. There were about 25 guys parading on stage each time, before and after the main show. They were all in briefs. Just before the start of the main show, 9 of the boys danced very well to upbeat music, and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. Of the Clubs I visited this time, I saw the most smiles here. There was a good selection and variety in the boys. I would say this Club had the best entertainment out of the 4 Clubs I went to this time. Each time, there were slightly different routines. The costumes, which one can write home about, were also different each time. When performing, the guys were in sync during their dance performance. They put on a very decent performance. While the shows here are raunchier than at Moonlight, it almost seemed like the choreographer from Moonlight had moved to Dream Boys. The shows at Moonlight were great during past visits. Moonlight For old times sake, I visited Moonlight to see their show and their “models”. Cover charge was 450 Baht. The boys at Moonlight are good looking. However, except for a few, there weren’t many smiles on their faces. I used to enjoy their shows, but I was quite disappointed this time around. As mentioned above, I found the show at Dream Boys much better. One of the top models at Moonlight (let’s call him B) seems to have lost his touch, in my view. To me, B was one of the best performers there in the past, but no more. He even looked different this time. On the other hand, I found the other model, lets call him N, looking better as he is no longer buffed up, but still in decent shape. I only went to Moonlight once as I didn’t enjoy my time there as much this time. Based on some of the comments posted by other Members, I skipped Jupiter this time. General comment: I found the temperature pleasant at all 4 clubs, not very cool, as in previous times. The sound was also bearable, not very loud as to burst your ear drums. On the aside, I went to the famous Foodland, after visiting a Club, and it was bone chilling cold that night in one section.1 point

Rather than describing what happened each day of my visit, I will provide comments on different parts of my stay in Bangkok. Impressions & Observations of Bangkok on this trip I walked around the Surawong and Silom areas everyday and here are my observations of what I noticed since my last visit. Overall, there were fewer tourists than before, particularly those from China. The Patpong Night market is open again, but there seemed to be fewer stalls and fewer people visiting them each night. There seemed to be more massage shops on Surawong. A number of marijuana shops have opened up all over, now that weed is legal in Thailand. Several food carts along Surawong were open and seemed to be doing fine. Shops and services on Thaniya Road seem to be catering to mostly Japanese tourists now; I don’t recall that being the case before. Things are still not quite back to normal after the pandemic. A few of the places were still shuttered shut and have not reopened. I initially thought that some of the restaurants I had previously gone to were permanently closed. But I was mistaken: 2 of the 3 were still open. An Indian restaurant on Surawong is no longer there. Of the other 2, one closes early at 9 pm (I went there after 9) and the other is a restaurant now also sells weed (I initially thought the whole place was converted to a weed shop). A new fast-food place has opened up on Silom, near Sala Deng BTS Station – Texas Chicken; you see them being promoted in some of the Thai BL series. A lot more MBs and “massage therapists” are now on Grindr. Others have mentioned this too. A good number of locals wore masks, even when outside. Most tourists did not. On BTS, most folks, including foreigners, wore masks. Tim Horton’s, which has thousands of coffee shops in Canada, has recently opened some shops in Bangkok. I went to one and was disappointed. They do not offer brewed coffee – a bread-and-butter item in Canada at Tim’s - nor a plain toasted bagel. They offer Americanos, lattes, and other beverages and bagels with cream cheese only. XOne had the best exchange rates as mentioned by @vinapu (I hang on to every word he writes, and then I can’t go wrong! ).1 point

I went to Thailand only once, but actually had a pretty good experience with a gogoboy from hotmale. He was very fun to be with, I took him to a temple visit around Pattaya, to the elephant park / garden, to the mall, to the big Buddha statue, to a river cruise+dinner in Bangkok, to get a manicure and a couple massage etc. And of course every meal together. If you have a bit of chemistry, it works. Maybe not for two weeks, but 3 days is fun and you get to learn a bit more about that guy that if you had just an overnight.1 point

IN Medellin and Bogota, the boys are hot, cheaper, better hung (in general) and quite passionate. Condoms are rarely brought up when you fuck. Many will still try to make you their BF, they are poor and hungry. Poverty is bad, they have a huge influx of refugees from Venezuela, and poor indigenous peoples. I will go back. Exercise a little more safety caution when out and about..... not as safe (IMHO) as Thailand.1 point -
Every boy is offable for long term for the right price. You have to make them an offer they can't refuse. I did try one boy recently. He would spend the night, no issue. But, would not go for long long term. Even with a very generous offer (10k per week). However, he did quote a number that I just felt uncomfortable. I have my limits.1 point

I’ve been in Bangkok for many Songkran’s . I’ve always had a great time. I read many times all the boys go home. May be true for many Thai hoys , but there are so many non Thai working guys places usually still have a full working staff. I’m a city person so crowds and traffic don’t bother me, but I do have friends that don’t enjoy it and leave for a week. The crowds tend to be centered in certain areas, so easy to avoid if you want. Will you get wet? Probably. But it’s so hot you dry fast. Find a hot, wet , shirtless guy to take back to your hotel and help you shower. Can be fun. 🥵 I live in South Florida so heat is the same for me, home or in Bangkok. Not an issue. Again I have friends that don’t like the heat and avoid it. It all comes down to your personal tastes. It will be, Hot, crowded, and wet. There also will be a lot of hot working guys looking to make some baht for a week of partying.1 point

This Industry club was pretty fun with the most enthusiastic erotic dancers (seemed like the last dance on the earth). I was there in the beginning of December with a holiday friend from Bogota and saw one very sexy sporty young black guy, who was somehow not so much engaged. I said my friend - look, a hot guy. My friend replied let me check if he is ready for threesome. The reply was thank you very much, but I am only gay curious (whatever that means). Coke use was as open and pretty intensive. Basic vodka with orange or cola mixer was included in the entrance price until 1 or 2 am. Beer was extra cost. We left 3 am (the end of party) and then grindr messages came around 4am - among others from 20 y skater guy - hi, i saw you in the club, lets meet. However the logistics effort was too big and we agreed a threesome for the next day, but then we were in other places and I was just lazy to coordinate, mostly because I was pleased with my friend. Bottom line - act on the spot and take the boy with your uber.😸 I liked the club, the other one - Oraculo - was kind of gay mainstream, more expensive and more like „keeping up the appearances“ style. But has hot barmen and guests. The pic is from Industry club.1 point
