After checking your map, I'd agree that Intra is a separate shop from Home. If you left Intra and began walking in the direction of Saphan Kwai, you'd soon arrive outside 27M Massage (a few shop houses before Intramara 27) on same side of road. Have been there a few times. In the evening they tend to have a group of guys on hand. Aside from Silom Soi 6, I'm unaware of another Bangkok location with such a concentration of all-male shops.

My trip to Thailand will start on May 3, so not that fast . But I'll definitely do a trip report and post in this forum. This will be my first ever trip to Thailand, that's why street namings are confusing for me, but now I get it.

It also turns out that Paul Ryan, who sits on Fox's board of directors, implored Murdoch to "move on " and "stop spouting election lies". This adds to Murdoch's problems, as it opens the door to shareholder lawsuits. Some also wonder if Murdoch's admissions will drive viewers away from the network. Maybe so, but I wonder if their viewers actually look to Fox for factual information or for 'alternative facts' to support incorrect beliefs they already hold. Somethin' tells me Murdoch's problems are about to get bigger and hopefully make the cost of spreading lies so expensive that few, if any, can afford it.

I have never asked the massage place owner for an off on Sutthisan Winitchai Rd, but when a masseur was good I offered him directly, in the massage room, to join me in my hotel for the night after his work day was over, and he was perfectly happy. Also note that the road that Home Massage (and just most other shops in area) are located on Thannon Sutthisan Winitchai, the wide, gray colored road running horizontally on map. Soi Intramara 29 would be the soi just to right of Bangkok Drugstore. This leaves Home Spa situated between Sois 29 and 31 but on opposite side of road. I know it's there because I've been to the shop before. So the function of the "Intramara" addresses of these shops is to serve as landmarks to help you find the shop on Sutthisan Winitchai road. If you want to determine whether or not Intra and Home are operating out of same shop, make a trip over there or give them a call. And please report back so we'll all be the wiser. If you are traveling to Colombia this week, or planning an internal flight within the country, be aware that Viva Air ceased operations today with no notice, leaving hundreds of thousands stranded in airports across Colombia and around Latin America and the USA (Miami). Today has been total chaos in Colombia as passengers attempted to get answers from Viva, who left their employees to fend off angry crowds with zero information about the status. Other airlines like Avianca and LATAM have offered to transport ticket holders, creating additional delays and flight cancellations as ticket sales have been suspended while they try to clean up Viva's mess. I believe you are incorrect. For long long term, I am talking months or years and not days. Your rate would be over 75,000 per month. Not going to happen and never been expected from anyone I know. Most boys are smart enough to do math. If it is a trip to Phuket, 10k a week is a great deal for them. I have never once had a boy turn down a trip or a week for that amount. (as least that I can remember)

Every boy is offable for long term for the right price. You have to make them an offer they can't refuse. I did try one boy recently. He would spend the night, no issue. But, would not go for long long term. Even with a very generous offer (10k per week). However, he did quote a number that I just felt uncomfortable. I have my limits.

Some of these guys may indeed identify as straight but I've found that over the last 21 years of visiting bkk that they should be thought of as "Bangkok straight". What I mean is that once the door to your room or massage cubicle closes, no definitive rules apply. They are free to be whoever or whatever they wish. Business people in the Chonburi province have commented on a rise in businesses specifically by and for Indian and Chinese tourists. Indian investors were the first to strongly finance post-Covid recovery. They had previously bought pubs and restaurants along Pattaya’s famous Walking Street, reopening them as businesses specifically catering to Indian tourists. But now that it’s been a month and a half since travel restrictions were lifted for Chinese travellers, investments from China are soaring. The Chinese investment is different from the Indian investment though. It is more organised and larger-scale. They have been buying up businesses as a fully integrated venture, rather than just owning individual businesses. Chinese investors have been purchasing three-star and four-star hotels, restaurants, pool villas and chartering tourist attractions in the Bang Lamung area, Pattaya City and Jomtien Beach. Their investments have been geared towards creating a comprehensive tourism programme that caters to Chinese tourists, famous for travelling on organised tour packages. Not everyone is a fan of the influx of Chinese and Indian investment though. Locally-owned businesses refer to the fully-organised Chinese packages as zero-dollar tours as they are cheap, but tourists are required to buy overpriced products or services from connected vendors. This means that, while there may be a surge in tourists and spending, none of it will trickle down into the hands of local vendors and business operators. I only used Latam during my Jan/Feb trip and all the flights were great. I took the bus from Manizales to Medellin rather than Viva which had terrible reviews... yes, the bus was six hours for 200 kilometres, but it was on schedule.

Many people seem to travel with Auto Viação 1001. I find their wifi on that route to be unreliable, spotty. I just use my international roaming if needed, or read or watch streaming previously downloaded on my phone. I don’t know if travellers with local SIM are using their cellular plan data; I assume so. I have not travelled with other companies that sell fares through their own sites/counters or through Busbud or Cometa. Be advised that your passport is required to purchase and board. If you check baggage it is tagged at point of stowage; don’t lose the little flimsy strip receipt you are given as you are expected to produce it upon arrival in order to retrieve your luggage. Airplane cabin size bags are typically not stowed at your seat.

I wasn’t sure where to put this so I’ll just add it to the main topic as an FYI. I’m in Rio now and have been having trouble using my credit card (a Chase Sapphire visa). I’ve used this card here on previous trips without any problems, as recently as November 2022. The newest model of handheld payment terminals in Brazil seem to have issues with Chase, and tap-to-pay payments will not go through. To make matters worse, when you try to insert the card as a back up method of payment, the card is too thick to go in the slot on the terminal. I called Chase and they don’t even see the attempted transaction, so there is some sort of disconnect between them and the payment terminals right now. 202 seems to have the new terminal, because my card would not fit, and I know it did as recently as November. Anyhow, I was able to get around this by using my phone’s mobile wallet and tap-to-pay. It worked fine with the same Chase card that way. I just wanted to mention this because those Chase cards are very popular among American travelers. So just bring a backup card or be ready to use your mobile wallet if you use Chase as your travel card.

This is so true. A GP who speaks English has probably been around for a while. That's how they learn English. And, they know how to play games on you, deliver less than promise, fake an orgasm, cut short their time with you, ask more money while in the room for "extra" service...etc. I am speaking from my personal experience.

I advise against your first time in a sauna, just because it is not the best option as @riobard pointed above. Instead, I advise using the sauna to interact with several boys and pick one you feel the most comfortable with. Sixty-seven years ago people thought the Patpongpanich family was crazy to buy an agricultural plot on the outskirts of Bangkok which is today known as Patpong. A half-century ago many would argue that there was no need for the Dusit Thani Hotel, which has since been razed to make way for a new development. I agree that the old places that are being replaced by One Bangkok served its citizens and tourists well and have a place in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have patronized them. As the saying goes, no body likes change, including me (the Dusit Thani was my favorite hotel on the few nights a trip I could afford the splurge). Now as to the question of "need", that will be determined by how the public and business community respond to the new opportunities presented by One Bangkok. I had an affection for many of the now extinct landmarks in US cities (particularly the infamous sex theaters and peepshows of old Times Square 😉). I suspect there are Londoners who still detest the development Canary Wharf. As I write this, Central World--one of the city's great shopping meccas--is undergoing a remake. Personally, I can't see the need for it. It already outdistances anything I can find at home.

5 more luxury hotels, endless new office space, endless upmarket apartments, presumably a major mall or two. All of which Bangkok simply does not need! Would that the night market with the superb Joe Louis Puppet Theatre, its plethora of cheap eating sna shopping places and the Lumphini Boxing Stadium were still there. These would be fsr more appealing to residents and tourists than virtually anything in Bangkok One.

day 13 part 2 Passing massage places in soi 6 in Thai Relax I spotted prime beef hunk with 1st class axe murderer face sitting there so I knew I need to visit tomorrow, hell or high water. Then we walked along Silom to Patpong 2 . At Hot Male I asked if my unfinished bottle is still there but thay already disposed it so we kept marching toward Moonlight where in dark alley leading to it I showed him now blocked corridor when 21 years ago in short time room I had pleasure to get intimated with my first ever Thai guy taken from long gone Up To You bar on Rama where Take a Nap hostel now is. Moonlight barkers tried to lure us in but we wanted to complete tour so as always I told them “We like girls” and through Thainya we continued to soi 4 to complete whole tour. Thaniya seemed quite busy and hope old food stands where bar boys used to eat and socialize after bars closed will be reinstated soon to facilitate last chance for them and us, the patrons , all the same as before. In soi 4 we settled for a drink outside of Jupiter to talk even more and plan on which bar we will lavish our presence tonight. At one point I noticed HC coming to work , all smiles seeing me again. Radek did not have preference and when asked about mine I suggested Moonlight so far missed this trip or Tawan. Tawan it was so we went there and arrived just in time for the show. Today I played Scrooge, no tips to boys other than actual performers. K approached as and since Radek kind of liked him he sat with us throughout the show. We agreed to take Mahanakhon trip tomorrow morning, all three of us. As usual show very brave and modern, nothing tame about Tawan shows. About 1/3 of audience were Chinese girls but they were also mostly modern and uninhibited, not averse to checking how hard rigid dick is. There are two more twinks, one of them , bottom is special show had his first day today so upon learning that I Vinapu Tucked 100 baht into his undies when passed by him on my way to the loo for good beginning I did not plan to off anybody tonight but just before we left I decided to off P for old time sake. In meantime between those two extremes I offed P two or three times and pattern was similar , pleasant and active but trying to conclude experience as fast as possible , cash in and go. Classic would say ‘ you cum, I go” . So Radek went his way and P and me walked to my hotel talking about past few years since we met last time, pre-covid prehistory. I was wondering what of those three historical outcomes I see today hoping for the best of course despite seeing he is far from his previous excellent shape. Very fast I realized that it is what I called pattern just above, all what counted was speed. We were done in 30 minutes, when I was presented familiar story “ my motor is parked in wrong spot, I must go now ”. At least I know now what extremes are and what pattern is in this case . And to spice it up , complain about tip being too low. Tip perhaps was too low for him , for me it was another low moment of this trip. So my day 13 , otherwise very interesting and for first 14 or so hours also unexpectedly romantic ended low. Chalked off to an experience again, went to bed and slept soundly till alarm waked me up at 7.50 am.

Day 11 I tipped my guy a bit extra , so happy I was. Then we went downstairs for breakfast, boy went home and I returned to hotel to pack up. Today I’m going to Pattaya with the mission. Since Tartegogo had similar plans we resolved to go by taxi. And it means three of us as he decided to take his last night’s friend with him. I took small bag with me and left suitcase in Furama asking them to keep her for me till tomorrow. Then to Raya to meet both gentlemen, they tasked me with finding a taxi which I found on Suriwong in their usual spot in front of Siam Heritage hotel. It took exactly 2 hours to arrive at Jomtien Complex. My companions went to their hotel and I marched to Zing, as always great value for money. I mention a mission. Tomorrow is birthday of Handsome Cambodian, guy for whom I have perennial soft spot so I wanted to surprise him with showing up. But as often surprise did not work. I Lined him asking innocently ‘how are you? “ and ‘ where you now?” to get an answer “ on my way to Bangkok, waiting for a van to depart” complete with picture of van and ticket. Ouch, so much for surprise. But there’s always tomorrow and chance for surprise in Bangkok, we will see how it works. Than I went for a stroll through Jomtien Complex , then toward Dick’s and on approach to his shop I saw my semi permanent Jomtien guy N. It was perhaps 2.30 or 3 pm. Great surprise , upon learning where I stay he shrewdly suggested we will have massage in my room instead of shop . I paid 300 massage fee and off we went . He was bit sad I’ m only tonight in Pattaya but having so little time we decided to utilize it very extensively. Forget about massage. He is way too affectionate for that. It was 6.20 when we both realized we are hungry so went to Dick’s for a supper. Then he went back to the shop and I to @home bar where I was supposed to meet bkkmfj2648. He was there so we had a chat oiled with beer ogling boys in vicinity while yakking. At one moment Tartegogo and his guy passed by and stopped to greet us. I eyed one axe murderer walking by, double treat for me as generally Jomtien Complex guys are not my thing. If I stay longer I’d took him right away but today I was not sure about night’s plans since my surprise failed and I wanted to see show at X-Boys. So all I could do was to surprise him with red note when we passed by in front of his bar. He was nicely surprised no doubt because when I tuned my head after passing him he was still smiling broadly following my sight. I hoped to shake hands with gayinpattaya but he was not in bar he apparently holds the court so it’s task for next trip whenever it will be. But I have witness I had intention if you read this report. Bkkmfj and me took baht bus to Boyztown, stepped for a moment at BBB greeted by Lek, the mamasan. Several boys on the stage but none really appealing and then we went to X-boys . on our way Wit from Paradise Spa eyed me and rushed to greet me , another guy disappointed they I’m there only one night. X-boys bar was full for the show and show itself was very progressive. Audience predominantly Chinese who were extremely excited by what they saw and tipped generously right. left and center . While I liked the show very few guy appealed to me so I send Line to N to wait for me at 12.30 am by Zing so we continue trying to solve world’s problems together. After show bkkmfj and me returned to Jomtien , he went home and I went to meet N passing by the bars but my axe murderer was absent , hopefully taken by some handsome and generous farang. N was waiting , we went to 7/11 to buy some supplies and returned to my room for very active sleepover so to speak. Old people should not exercise that much as it borders on dangerous I thought.

I have an appointment in the area tomorrow...will take a peek to see how close to opening things look.

Day 10 Great feeling in he morning that all world problems were solved or at least I felt like it . Breakfast in hotel , I noticed quite a few glances by other guests. Old, KFC like troll and muscle semi-god , hard not to notice contrast I guess. But expressions were rather ‘wow” than condemnation so it made for even better feeling and boost to my self esteem. Today trip with my friend to train market in MaeKlong. That’s rewarding, entertaining but multi staged trip requiring some planning. I took BTS to Wongwian Yai BTS station , from there it’s about 500 m walk by covered walkway to Taksin Road and then another 500 m north along the street to Wongwian Yai railway SRT station. While BTS one is usual concrete monstrosity , railway station is just single track ending almost on the street. My guess would be it may be easy to miss but my friend was already there so he spared me finding out. We bought tickets to Machachai also known as Samut Sakhon at 10 baht a piece and while waiting for train I bought new baseball hat in adjacent market. Trains on this stretch are frequent, roughly hourly and ours at 10.40 am arrived and departed on time. No problem finding seat but train was by no means empty and whole 1 hour trip is basically through urban landscape never leaving really Greater Bangkok. Upon arrival , since we had more than hour to make connection we had a coffee , then took ferry across the river for 4 baht and in 3 minutes we were on another side. From there about 800m well posted walk to Ban Laem station. There are only 4 trains a day on that railway from Ban Laem to Mae Klong so as I said some planning is required. We could see it when train rolled out of station and pair of young tourists was running toward it but unfortunately too late to catch it. This part took also 1 hour, this time landscape was rural , graced at one point by impressive sight of grand stupa Phra Pathom Chedi , tallest in all Thailand, in Nakhon Pathom . Train market is on the last stretch , just before terminal station. On last station before terminal train become very lively as whole tour of Japanese boarded brought there by bus. Wise move as in my opinion surveying market from moving train is more interesting than being on the ground. At one point train slowed to crawl through all the stalls and scores of tourists taking pictures. We responded in kind taking theirs. On Ban Laem station we met again that unfortunate pair waiting for our train to return and take them back. Girl cheerfully commented ‘ we are on vacation, we have time”. There was short wait for return train from Mahachai after we crossed river and going to Bangkok train was quite full as it was rush hour. At 6.30pm, 7 hrs. and 50 minutes from departure in the morning we were back. Thank you Christian PFC for providing information about logistics of getting there. There’s other way to get to the market, by bus from Southern Bus terminal but is not as entertaining and getting to and from terminal takes time and effort as it’s not easily connected to BTS or MRT I was told. I suggested we will have pizza dinner at Madrid Tavern and my friend agreed so we took BTS to Saphan Taksin and walked to soi 49 from there. Greeted by smiles and question ‘ you want Chang , no glass, and your usual pizza ? “ I knew I’m in the right place. My friend being vegetarian was concerned whether they will have some choice for his and it turned out they have no less than 4 pizzas of vegetarian kind including my favorite ‘Shallots and cherry tomatoes” . After dinner we walked to our hotels . I refreshed myself and went to HotMale go-go where I was supposed to meet with Tartegogo for the first time. No problem recognizing each other as we provided kind of detailed descriptions of ourselves since we never met before. He had his companion with him already and soon they took off and I invited Sam whom I offed few days ago and another boy, as twinky as they go whom I knew from 3some off on previous trip to seat with me. Sam clearly hoped for an off but tonight I opted for other guy. Perhaps taken by his smile which never left his face. So another twink in my collection and it was good move. He was not hungry so we went to hotel right away and had surprisingly romantic evening , night and morning. Am I in process of switching to twinks? That serious question I need to answer.

All of Fox made $1.2B profit last year. I'm pretty sure it will hurt. They'll still suck up to their crazy audience, but they'll be a bit more careful about the gratuitous lying I think.

Even if the full amount is awarded, it will not sway Fox to change it ways. They make many more billions off of the stupid and naive. The cost of this will not hurt them at all.

Dominion will prevail, but not to the tune of $1 billion +. Fox will continue its anti-American focus no matter how much the judgment in favor of Dominion is.

I certainly hope that Tribe is right. A summary judgment for Dominion will deter future misbehaviors of Murdoch’s propaganda machines.

Update: the overnight was great. We got along fabulously and watched a movie, cooked dinner together, and good massage (me to him), we went swimming two times, and just had a fun time. Night was very good. He works and had to go back to work after one night, but next week will take 2 days off together and spend the entire weekend with me. Yesterday, I got a nice Valentine's Day gift from him. So, so far, things are progressing nicely.
