Day 6 After emotions of previous 5 days I decided to deflate a bit and take it easy. Today was day me and CCP were supposed to arrive. For a second I entertained an idea of going to Swampy and see if he arrived utilizing free ticket my courtesy but abandoned idea fast. Why bother ? And even if he did , what it would change? I wouldn’t even try to approach , even less to embarrass him. After lazy morning I left Rose and went back to Baan Silom. I liked Rose and it’s quite a option in area if price is right. Unpacking in Baan Silom I noticed my two bottles of red wine carried from home . Now, deprived option of seeing how it makes CCP horny I did not have much use of them but fortunately for the planet got idea who may utilize them and offered to gift to him , no strigs attached. Passing by soi 6 , I noticed M, former masseur on duty at Tawan is now in new 9-teen massage and promised to see him one day. Solitary lunch in Foodland at 3 pm , completely empty at that hour today and then decided to check Kman spa in Saphan Kwai. Since I had Line to one of their guys I messaged him asking if he is working today and he responded he will be on duty at 5. So at 5 I was there too. Massage as good as last time I was there and boy’s endowment was impressive considering he is quite diminutive twink but he is Myanmarese, you know ! Then some computer stuff and it was 9.50 pm when I noticed I should check some bars perhaps. From rotation it was Hot Male turn so went there, just in time for the show. Three veterans of previous offs came to greet me and one of them, Sam, I invited for a drink. I have soft spot for him ever since I took him to Grand Palace and he turned out to be truly interested in the place. I was not even in the mood for an off but wasting time is not my thing so asked him to go with me and judging by reaction it was exactly what he was waiting for. So of we went via Foodland where while he was contemplating what to order I swear waiter told him ‘ take steak , his boy last night had it and farang paid” So steak it was. Not particularly steamy night but after all that recent drama I guess I just wanted comforting warm body beside and he provided.

One evening I arranged to meet a guy who had given me a few massages during the proceeding week. He appeared on time at the designated meeting place (outside the Raya) at midnight. Things generally went well but there were some awkward moments. He slept soundly over night but declined invitation for breakfast. When we parted I was sure that was the beginning and the end of the affair. As I reflected on the evening over breakfast, I was puzzled. We had gotten along really well in his shop, laughing easily and feeling anything but awkward. But he was on his home turf then. I concluded perhaps he had been burned before by a farang he had met. Nevertheless, I tried to put him out of my mind. It was only a few days later when I passed his shop again and he was among the guys standing outside with menus in their hand. He beamed a smile at me and we chatted for less than a minute before we went inside for our third session. Everything went well. His English was almost non-existent at the time so as I was trying unsuccessfully to ask him a question as we walked out later he gestured to a coworker to act as interpreter. "You want to meet me after work tonight" was turned into Thai and the reply was a vigorous nod of his head and huge smile. So as much as I believe Vinapu's prince charming doesn't deserve another chance, I'm reminded that had I denied it to my masseur, I would have missed out on seven of the happiest years of my life. We remain together to this day.

I guess fact that I arranged for trip well (about 2 weeks) before CCP even contacted me helped me to get over it fast. It would be different if I came all the way specially to be with him , that would be upsetting big time. His former bar friend was great consolator on my last night in PP , it helped too. Way it developed worst day of this trip was followed by second best if not best night. Vagaries of boy hunting ! Before I set off for PP I had a bit concern of how I keep CCP occupied in those 5 days so in some sense it was relief I don't need to worry about that too. Strange as it may sound I still like him but rest assured , not to a degree I would be pursuing him again , not to mention allowing to be manipulated in any sense. Old saying ' what doesn't kill you , makes you stronger " certainly applies here. I was thinking about keeping it for myself instead of making public how big fool I was but after giving it some thought I decided to tell story so other can learn and perhaps feel better. Most of us will still tend to think "I'm smarter and if I was vinapu I'd cut if off right away after (insert whatever moment )" I can live with being smarter than vinapu part but have some doubts if in circumstances everybody will be cutting deal off instead of trying to salvage it to reasonable degree as I tried unsuccessfully. I was not in love neither tried to be , all I was looking for was to spent week+ with guy I met and who made the best impression on me , both as person and as prime beef. Fact that he remembered our October talk and contacted me first was not only encouraging but thrilling too. So again , to quote Sophia from Golden Girls, while he turned bum, I still smile.

Sometimes life just gets in the way and second or third chances mean a lot to someone.

I have no doubt he realizes unless he assessed me as cheat and lost hope that I will pay him anything but that's highly unlikely in view that after all I send him some advance money, right ? All I know is that all money I had aside for him I spent on other guys including his bar friend and I'm happy I did. I also received his picture and I'm truly glad he looks much better than when we met at the airport. Perhpas whole experience worked like bucket of cold water for him. It would be similar to what I had in October when Handsome Cambodian taken to BKK for 4 days dumped me after 1 night over dispute related to excessive phone use forfeiting 12000 . Two weeks later when I saw him he admitted that realisation of his hotheadedness and loss created caused short depression and when I offed him , he was changed man indeed. In few days we will meet him again, ( report in due course ) and he was even more hot and charming. Does it mean there's hope for me for another try at CCP ? LOL

yes , he was exactly what I needed that night, friend with benefits. If I would be looking for companion to travel in the region , indeed Sam would be candidate # 1 as he made impression he is really interested in seeing places. despite misadventure with CCP I don't hold it against whole nation and indeed had few very rewarding meetings with Cambodians this trip including my last night in Phnom Penh.

The Chon Buri governor says he recommends that the club, that reportedly lacked a license, be closed for five years. Somehow I'm confident the relative parties will stumble upon another method of resolving the matter. 🙂

Day 5 I did not mention I will be leaving soon and there was no need as in the morning he rushed to his day time job , just giving me enough time to have breakfast and pack up . I had that bottle of red wine I forgot to give CCP and presented her to my tuk-tuk driver who took me to airport. He was quite surprised that his quoted fare of 8 $ included getting bottle, lol. Hope he did not try it on his way back to the city. Sitting on the plane all emotions related to this affair left me , all of then sudden I realized I have 5 days free to roam fortified with 30000 baht CCP decided to leave in my pocket by pissing on our deal. At noon I was in Swampy already. Immigration was breeze. Hour later I was checking into Rose. It was my first time there and I liked what I saw. Super location in quiet corner steps from Suriwong, room with the view. Only thing I did not like was washbasin in the toilet, way too low. Clearly aimed at people much shorter than I’m. I went for a stroll and crossing Silom I spotted one of boys known to me with handsome farang. Because we exchanged few PMs on the subject of said guy I suspected I knew who farang is but they were in rush and I had blackout forgetting farang’s nick so did not stop them either. Later on fired PM to him to confirm it was him and it was a case indeed. So to 31 forum members I met I add one whom I just passed by chance, lol. G’bangkok in soi 4 was busy so I went for dinner to Happy Beer Garden greeted warmly by one of waitresses who by coincidence had birthday today as whispered by other waiter. So treated her with big bottle of Chang. Then to Hot Male beer bar, had few drinks with P , my first night stand and then decided to check Jupiter’s show. Bar was packed. As always boys were first class look but smiles lacking, nothing new here .After show and it was midnight I decided to leave passing by few their guys standing by the door including one quite muscular and handsome like hell. I was already outside when Guardian Angel pushed me back inside so I asked that guy about drink. We sat down and made deal very fast. Boy drink and off fee 950, gave mamasan 1000 baht note and couldn’t get a change so after few minutes decided to leave. If somebody will wonder why on my next visit or two at Jupiter I will not tip , there’s answer, that self service. Boy, J, was hungry and suggested modestly Foodland but inside was less modest ordering their most expensive dish, some steak. No harm done and Bon Appetit. In the room was very active and pleasant. World is coming to an end, another Jupiter off I’m so happy with. I never thought I will live that long! Too bad he did not want to stay till morning. Tipped him generously though as it was well deserved but as always I denied request for taxi money. What was supposed to be my last night in PP turned to be my first in Rose. Nice to be back in Bangkok, it took less than a day for me to get over and forget whole CCP debacle like it never happened.

Thanks vinapu for the full report! Ive been busy to continue my own report but cant miss reading yours hehe. I am a firm believer of giving guys 2nd or 3rd chance, especially when i really like the guy, or i heard good reviews/report from others. Very recently, I made an appointment with a guy from grindr, and i agree to his rate without negotiation, and set a time. He wasnt responsive when i texted near the set time, and i waited for him a while, went around to find something to eat, then back. He finally replied saying he is otw back from eating. Anyway, i told him im still around the area and he said he can meet. I waited again, and still slow response. Just when im about to give up, i texted him again, for one last time, and he finally asked me where i am. Its basically an hour after our set time to meet. Normally, i would be fuming. But i really like his picture and he also got good reviews, so i decided to give him his chance to prove that he is worth his rate. When we finally met, he told me what happened, which to me, doesnt really matter much since i really like what i see lol. Back in his room, all goes really well. Very passionate and does pretty much everything i wanted. Definitely worth all the trouble. All is forgiven indeed. And i did this for someone ive never met, and only saw his pic from grindr. Its a rare find for me, and given my pickiness, might be a while before i find this type and quality again, so im glad i gave him another chance. But, i have to admit, ive yet found a bar guy, who despite a good fun time in bar, refused to go with me back to my hotel and then texted me months later he is ready to go with me. Its in human nature when we are told no, the more we want it lol. I had one experience with a masseur at regular massage place who let me touch him and we exchange line. And when i asked if he is interested to go to my room, he says no, indirectly. If this guy suddenly texted me he finally agree to meet me in hotel, id probably do something similar lol. Too bad, he no longer work there and probably change his line and we lost contact.

Your experience calls to mind a sports analogy. Although Man U is one of football's great clubs, on very rare occasions it takes the pitch but fails to score. Some might call it karma or just the odds of playing the game. And like that storied team, you surprise none of us by your penchant for picking yourself up and moving from setback to new beginning.

That is my problem, all I can do is to guess. Anyways it was fun dreaming about time together but such conclusion of the affair was in cards due to various stunts so while upset I was not that surprised , even less shocked. Just big time disappointed. Yes I picked up myself as soon as I left hotel to go back to Bangkok, boarded plane relieved it's over and as we will see , trip developed quite nicely up to the last off(s) included.

Day 4 Contrary to what may be expected I slept quite well and would sleep even longer but at 7 am I was waked up by sound of air conditioner. Breakfast on 15th floor , included in price, I truly enjoyed food and the view . Going down, my phone sounded, it was Line message , you guessed rightly, from CCP. Repeated last night excuse about delivery and being hungry like he couldn’t say that at night he will not come. Then complained that he is stressed because of debt and it caused him to lose 5kg, fact I noticed yesterday at the airport. And noticed that I keep tight limit on his monetary requests. Next out of blue question come if during those 5 days in BKK we can make trip to Phi Phi island . I said no , I’m not planning to go outside of Bangkok . He mused ‘ why ? we have so many days” so I answered because it would cost more than I planned to spend. And I had question too ‘ what about our trip today?’ , answer was brief “ I think I cannot “ . All I could do is to say ‘ thank you for letting me know , I will ask at travel office”. Then I knew all affair is over. And as it turned so did him because my next message “ what about tomorrow? “ was never read till last day of the trip. So yes, all warning signs were like that, warning signs . it was only me who seeing those opted to ignore them feeding what my friend described as ‘ magnificent illusion” . It was magnificent indeed. But no more . I fired my tablet decided to cut my stay in PP short. Tickets for today were bit costly so I bought one for tomorrow for exactly the same flight I was supposed to take with him day later. It was my third ticket for PP-Bkk flight, first was original and second for that requested earlier flight. Also booked 1 night at Rose hotel because Baan Silom was full for the night. Wandered a bit around riverbank and downtown including magnificent Psar Thmei market but emotions and uncured jet lag conspired and early afternoon I just collapsed in bed to a sound sleep till 9 p.m. Then groomed myself a bit and went to Space Bar again skipping dinner. Hard to believe but breakfast was only meal I had today. In the bar I was greeted by my last trip companion. I did not waste time to ask him to come to my room after bar closes , idea he approved gladly. Later in course of conversation he told me that he knows I’m taking ‘big guy” with me to Bangkok. Wishing it was true indeed I said nothing. So obviously CCP spilled the beans, otherwise how he would know ?. Few rounds of drinks kept me and boys at my table in good spirits, fact is quite a few of them were hiring material if I stay longer. Tab was even higher than yesterday and again I suspect I was charged for more drinks I ordered unless boys ordered some behind my back on my tab. No complains as I had good time indeed. But it looks no end to today’s dramas. My expected companion disappeared somewhere and was nowhere to be found. I went to hotel hoping he will be waiting there but no. So lined him only to receive message that he is angry with me because he noticed I tipped few guys just for sitting , drinking and talking. Clearly PP air is not good for me this time, sigh. But I got bright idea to offer him what I’d pay CCP tonight and shortly he was on his way. What I thought as consolation price was consolation indeed. He turned out very warm and yet energetic guaranteeing sleepless steamy night for us both. Probably best of that whole trip.

Day 2 P went home and I went to world famous for breakfast. With some time to kill before my dental appointment I wandered through markets in sois 10 and 5. Dental work went smoothly and they did even more than I intended to so very glad again with their service and expertise at Dr. Smile. Straight from there to Madrid Tavern for lunch with ChristianPFC . Both ladies recognized me immediately remembering I drink Chang from the bottle and my favorite pizza is shallots and cherry tomatoes. After lunch Christian went his way and I walked to hotel basking in very pleasant weather. After bit of refreshing I decided to go to Sabaidee Spa , my mainstay in Dec 2021 but neglected in last 2 trips. I hoped my favorite from there Ton will be available but he was not , when mamasan called him he admitted is bit sick . No harm done as from the back emerged guy I saw in their Line feed and was interested to meet anyways so engaged him immediately. His name is Tin and he also works in Jupiter although when I was there subsequently I did not see him. Great time together helping me to mitigate jet lag. Energized I took motorsai to Patpong 2 where I had a beer with Tiny Lao in Dragon bar. While I like him, that beer made me sleepy so I went to hotel on my way Lined ex model X if he is interested in curing my jet lag. He was but not immediately as he got drunk last night he said which must be truth as he arrived by taxi even if he has a car. First class personality, body and service as always although I could use more of his time today had he arrived earlier than he did. Excellent find anyways. Having V short time yesterday I asked him for overnight today but since he came right after work and was hungry and it was a while since my lunch , we went to Foodland and while there on his suggestion we decided to visit Fresh Boys for the show. While boys there are not my type I liked show and no doubt that point of view was shared by many since bar was full house despite being mid-week . I distributed 250 in tips and show , quite long, was still on when I , feeling sleepy and bit horny in V presence , suggested we should go. So off we went at exactly midnight. Always great time with him , no pretense, humble guy with clingy disposition but like last night I caught myself being half minded with him and another half of my mind was in Phnom Penh with CCP tomorrow.

Day 1 Super long flight to Bangkok , as always I booked aisle seat in middle section in the last row because I noticed that it increases chance seat beside will be unoccupied and that bet was successful. Empty seat indeed , what is better, one of only 2 or 3 free seats in the whole 787-9. I don’t watch movies so had 4 books with me but it seems melatonin helped this time, not that I slept much but spent considerable part of flight in at least half sleep stage. So finished only book and half. Arriving in Bangkok in early morning, just as day broke , I hoped for short immigration lines but it was not a case as it looked few big planes dumped human load at the same time. Booths were staffed properly and while lines lengths were scary it moved quite fast. Normally I travel with carry on only but this time I had proper luggage – remember that promised suitcase to be given to my Cambodian Charming Prince.(CCP ) Reason was more prosaic though, this time both seat selection and 1 piece of luggage was included in price so I did not bother with economizing. Fate co-ordinated it nicely , as soon as I approached conveyor my suitcase popped out. Since my CCP reacts well to red wine by his own admission I carried 2 bottles for him in my luggage and was happy to find out they arrived intact. Early train to the city was surprisingly full from airport , visible sign tourism rebounded with vigor. Baan Silom was aware I will be late, I booked for night before as I wanted to be sure arriving early I will have bed and shower available and lady on reception greeted me “ You finally arrived “ . After desoiling myself I went to world famous UNESCO designated Foodland Patpong for an arranged breakfast with ChristianPFC who lavished on me SIM card and recently issued new Cambodian banknotes of 200 and 2000 riels – he knows I collect those. Then to XOne on Suriwong to exchange money, this trip I took care to compare rates on every exchange booth I passed by and XOne was consistently the best. Not by much but still the best. When packing we usually forget something , this time it was hat so from there I went straight to Silom market in soi 10 and bought new hat. I noticed that weather was very pleasant , in the morning even bit chilly and it lasted for more than a week, only in last 3-4 days of my stay temperatures and humidity rise noticeably. Returning to hotel on my way I booked an appointment for tomorrow at Dr. Smile on Silom as I have some repairs to be done. I use them for years. Of course Lined my CCP that I’m in Bangkok and confirmed my arrive after tomorrow asking him to pick me up as I rather pay him taxi fare than to some random guy. He confirmed immediately increasing my heartbeat right away. Can’t wait ! Jet lag gave some signals I should retire to my room so I did, Lined my Grindr masseur if he is interested in coming but unfortunately he hurt his back playing tennis and is out of commission for few weeks , even declined suggestion for just kissing / cuddling session afraid he may be hurt in process. Too bad as I like him a lot. But I have solution with V, he told me he is finishing work at 3 and will be in my room shortly after. I generously offered to help him to shower, offer visibly appreciated as soon as he undressed. Both tired ,me with trip , him with work we had good use of the bed until dark. Then we went to G’Bangkok in soi 4 for a well deserved dinner greeted warmly by the boss there and his crew. Time spent with V and dinner invigorated me very well so when he went home I started survey of bars with Hot Male beer bar first. I had hope P will go with me but they had shortage of staff tonight and I was told he will be available only when bar closes at 2am. So I left him there promising to pick him up later and went to Dreamboys hoping Oud veteran of several offs from Tawan and Jupiter who was seen there by spoon last month will be there but mamas an told me he is gone. But I eyed another veteran of multiple offs, Dit and had him sitting with me . Declined to buy him a drink opting for 500 tip instead. Bar probably was not happy but boy was and it’s what counts. I decided this trip , apart from time spent with CCP I will be back to butterflying , both bars and boys. Decision prompted by fact that I noticed on last trip some guys are starting taking me for more or less granted. Going forward this trip I made 3 well deserved exceptions but otherwise sticked to an original idea and I’m glad I did saving some money and making new discoveries in process. Then just before midnight I went by Moonlight where some guys sitting outside recognized me greeting warmly , I peeked inside but bar was emptying already so I decided to go to Banana Club in soi 4 , bar I neglected last few trips. They had show in progress , mainly ladyboys lip-syncing but I kind of had fun there. Mamasan Lucy was victimizing group of Chinese in the first row so I was left to my own devices inviting one of boys to seat with me for a feel and tip. One of their barkers outside is very handsome so I forced 100 baht on him signalizing an interest. At 1.30 I went to Patpong to pick up P from HotMale. In Oct I had feeling I may be his first customer , now obviously he is more brave and we had good time , so good that in the morning I upped his promised tip by 500 I think bit out of guilt. Guilt because my mind is in Phnom Penh with CCP, sorry but it is.

Hi guys, I'm on the plane heading back to London with 11 hours to kill so thought I'd use the time to share my thoughts on my first ever trip to Brasil. I hope it proves useful to someone who may soon be going for the first time, or anyone who cares to read it. Sorry if it's a bit long-winded but feel free to stop reading if you lose interest haha! For context I spent 5 days in SP and 4 days in Rio. Consider this trip an early 30th birthday present to myself lol. Sao Paulo Arriving in Guarulhous was straight-forward and without issue. Despite countless Taxi offers, I couldn't resist paying 4.40 reals for a train ticket to downtown Paulista. Plus the weather was great and I got to see the surroundings. FYI, the ticket offices for the metro only take cash or Brazilian debit cards. On average Brazilians are much better looking than your average westerner (no offence) and within an hour of landing I was already drooling over some heavenly specimens. l don't know if its the genes, the food, the weather, the mix of indingenous cultures or all of the above, but they"re clearly doing something right. Alot of Brazilians also seem to have very good teeth, both natural and veneers. After checking in to my airbnb in Avenida Paulista, I took a shower and explored the local surroundings. In the sunshine Paulista Avenue really is a sight to behold. I'd made prior arrangements with a hunk from garotolocal, potentially risky I know, but along with all the positive reviews and the security measures at the Airbnb I decided to go for it. Despite not having any issues myself, I would recommend sticking to saunas initially until you have some trustworthy connections. A few Brazilians here told me about the potential risks of using sites, even trusted ones. If you must use sites, check reviews, instagram, only fans, etc for evidence of an online presence. I booked an airbnb that was ok with visitors so I would have no awkward issues. Being super paranoid, I also removed any potentially dangerous items out of sight - sharp cooking utensils, irons, broomsticks etc I would also recommend hiding your passport and other belongings or putting them in a safe if available. I also let the garoto know beforehand that the apartement has security and is full of cameras for both our protection just in case they try anything dodgy. Security out of the way, Mr X arrives. Beautifully proportioned muscular frame with tanned caramel skin, arms and pecs bulging through his tight army tshirt. He was perfect for me as I'm into muscle but not overblown steroid-type muscle e.g. Simeon Panda or The Rock etc. He slowly removes his shirt to expose the perfect amount of chest fuzz before moving closer to touch me, what a sight to behold. I won't go into the nitty gritty but let's just say it was a good first night haha. To make it even better, he accepts card! FYI the Pound GBP £ goes a veryyy long way here, I think it's around 6 reais to 1. And that's with the pound being weak at the minute. I would highly recommend Chase banking as they guarantee the mastercard rate of exchange on all card payments, as well as 1% cashback on all purchases, no withdrawal fees either although some Brazilian banks will charge you a small amount. Also FYI, if you're going to be 'passivo', make sure its clean down there as I've noticed a fair few Brazilian GPs have a habit of checking the condom after sex haha. Brazilians in general tend to be very clean and hygienic, the ones I came across at least. All of them to smell great and use mouthwash etc, especially if they smoke. The next day after doing a few touristy bits, I decided to head to Lagoa. If you're a foody and enjoy the arts, culture, restaurants, bars, museums etc then you really cannot beat SP. I enjoy sex but it wasn't the only reason for my visit to Brasil. Beyond Paulisita, SP is not the most aesthetically pleasing city but its full of charm and has something unique to do around every corner. I wouldn't have it any other way. Check out Ibirapuera park on a satuday morning/afternoon to see lots of white topless, hunky, sweaty middle-class brasilians going for a morning run lmao. I was really nervous heading into Lagoa as I'd never been to any kind of sauna before and had no idea what to expect. I got changed into a towel and began to explore. At first it wasn't explicity obvious to me who was a GP and who wasn't (except for the guys stroking their dicks in a corner for all to see). Without trying to brag - I promise - I am in pretty decent shape and was approached by guys who either thought I was a GP, or they knew I was a client like them but wanted to try their luck regardless. And to be fair, there were some sexy customers too! Next tip, as you probably know, learn some portuguese before you come here, at least the basics. Ideally, invest in a language course, I definitely will get some lessons before my next trip. I can't emphasise this enough, especially for emergencies as google translate may not always be available, nor will it always be safe to pull your phone out. English really does not cut it here in around 85% of situations. I am by no means fluent but I spent about 3 weeks beforehand learning the basics. I do speak French so this was a massive help in terms of vocab and sentence structure etc, lots of words are very similar. Knowing Spanish is better than knowing English, but again invest in learning portuguese. Also most GPs only take Cash or PIX ( a Brazilian money transfer service which only Brasilians can use). Lastly, unless you want to destroy your Uber rating, don't slam the Uber doors lmao. The Ubers are also dirttt cheap out there. To sum up, I had a blast in SP and will defo be back either this year or early next year God willing. I have comments to some of your remarks: On one of my two-week visits to the city I rented a beachfront apartment in Copacabana, several streets from Leme. On that visit and during others, I walked around Leme. Smallish in size, it's considered an upper middle-class section of the city. I won't describe the area as "There is no insecurity there." because I think there are varying degrees of safety risk throughout Rio. I observed many tourists, foreign and national, who wandered about and had lodging in Leme. I haven't swam at the Leme beach but leaving anything of value behind as I entered the water isn't something I'd personally do. I'm a walker when I visit Rio. I've extensively explored Centro, Copacabana, Ipanema, Urca, Catete, Botaforo, Flamingo and Niteroi on foot ... but I don't walk in certain sections of the city after dark or on streets where many others aren't also walking or aren't well-lit. After one visit I don't think it can be said "you can walk safely" as a general statement (particularly in Centro and Lapa). The challenge for us when we're newbies is we don't know what we don't know. Being able to select from a stable of very handsome young men for the price equivalent of US$30 is just one of the reasons so many of us enjoy visiting Rio. The relatively low cost helps to offset the oftentimes high cost of airfare. At least it is for me.
