    First day in Bangkok

Happy to report that I was wrong, some of the bar guys are very much into me and will do everything I hoped without prompt, making me feel like they would do it even if no money was ever involved. In fact, the hotmale guy who is currently sleeping in my bed (well deserved sleep, given how much energy he has put in earlier) is so into me that I am considering keeping him for several days.😍 Still haven’t found any masseurs at the spas that make me feel good tho. 😀

  3. Another wonderful trip to Brazil ended on a 202 Wednesday. My flight is at 10pm, so went early around 4pm, planning to leave before 7pm. A pleasant surprise, my 2021 favorite B came in at 4:30. He gave me a hug and kiss then went upstairs. The boy is twink to a T. I loved my 2peat with him in 2021. our encounters in my 2022 trip was not as satisfying. The boy couldn’t suck or bottom nearly as good. But he looks just as adorable. 5 minutes later he still hasn’t come down so I went upstairs to check. He was in top floor, top off, lying on a sofa, browsing his phone. I sat down with him, we kissed again. Over google translate he said he is too high at the moment. I love how his tongue dancing in my mouth, boners don’t lie, I am very attracted to him. We chat over the phone, and he confessed his ass hurts and can’t bottom today. This is a little bummer. But we can still have a good time if he works harder with his mouth. He concurs and we went to room. From the kiss when he came in, till we were done, another great 202 hour! my new favorite from last Wednesday didn’t show, was hoping to have a repeat with him. There are two new faces I somewhat like tonight, one muscular handsome black boy, he is quite popular, I suspect he might be a top. The other slim black boy with a lovely smile, but a little feminine, I was not too sure. Another packed night. I am happy just browsing the room, time flies, soon it’s 6:30. Decided I am happy enough to call it the end of this trip. Back to the hotel in Catete, 7pm Uber is 20% pricier due to traffic, still a very reasonable 52R, thanks to technology. even though without Fragata, São Paulo is a little disappointing this time. Thankfully 202 is still going strong. A few more good memories made.

Hi Riobard, Thanks for sharing the article. Last year, when prostitution got legalised in Belgium, the vice prime minister and secretary of justice said "not paying a sex worker would be considered rape".

  6. I never knew about this....too bad so many have had problems, seems like the daytime is more dangerous than night, good thing I don't go out before 5pm. I'm going to Rio Tuesday and in over 20 yrs, the only times I've had problems, it was in SP in areas that I should not have gone especially while drinking. The sex in Brasil definitely makes it worth the risk, to me, given the odds of how many people go without issue 🤨

    First day in Bangkok

Been to Argentina once 16 years ago and enjoyed myself in BA despite getting pick pocketed on the subway. Regretfully I've never been to Brazil. Tbh, I think I'm too old for that scene now. Nevertheless, wish I had gone there as a younger man. Of all the places I have been, never encountered a shit hole. Haven't found anyplace I still feel as comfortable in as Bangkok.

    Taipei Info/Tips?

I echo all @fedssocr comments. A few years ago I did one of the organised 5-day round-the-island coach tours staying at very good hotels. I was amazed at how beautiful the island is, having earlier only visited Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. We started at Sun Moon Lake where in addition to a large hot spring pool in the basement, each room had its own mini-hot spring pool! Sun Moon Lake We then drove down south of Kaohsiung to the far south coast with its crystal clear water and visiting the main Buddhist monastery before returning to Kahsiung for the night. From there we moved over to the East Coast and worked our way up to the stunning Taroko Gorge where our hotel was virtually at the top of the Gorge. Much of the upper part of the East coast looks rather like parts of the north coast of the Hawaiian Islands. Returning to Taipei is quick as the road goes through several long tunnels. You can do all these sights on your own and save quite a bit of cash. I just wanted to be lazy for a few days to sit back and enjoy the island in comfort.

I presume you mean Kaohsiung? For sure the HSR makes travel along the west coast quite easy. The east coast is picturesque though too. On my first trip I did a photography tour with an expat American freelance photographer who also teaches English and runs a hiking tour company. We drove up to Keelung and then down the coast to Taroko Gorge and Hualien. Lots of beautiful scenery. Although there was recently a big landslide that took out one of the tunnels on that coastal road. I haven't seen a recent update but I presume given the importance of that road things have been repaired. I will admit to being a bit concerned. Lots of very long tunnels on that road. On my second trip we did a tour down to Sun Moon Lake and some interesting little towns. And the 921 Earthquake museum which is just outside Taichung. I also took the HSR down to Tainan on that trip for a short 2 day/1 night visit. Relatively easy to navigate most of the city on foot but the bus was easy to figure out too. I stayed at the big Shangi-La hotel next to the main train station.

I don't know about you, but I feel ok holding/using my phone on the street in Chicago. For the poll, I was mugged in Brazil too. Now I will not walk on the street in Brazil for more than 2 block distance just to minimize the possibility of getting mugged. In fact, I deliberately choose hotels with some distance to places I may visit so I can use Uber. I have cell phone bag with string tied to my inner pocket. I don't carry a wallet. I put my cash in my shoes in Brazil. I don't do any of these in Chicago or anywhere in the U.S. and never have problems.

    First day in Bangkok

I just spent my first day in Bkk as a single man. 6 orgasms, and I am spent. Twice with a freebee from grinder, a cute but a little 32 yo chubby Pinoy. 1 massage from a place on Siloam rd. Another Pinoy on grinder which I paid 3000 (he was soooo cute!) 1 hot male guy 1 tawan guy. On top of that I tipped 2 guys to let me fondle them, 1 in freshmen and 1 in dreamboys. Not a cheap day, but I have to say, between hotmale , freshmen and dreamboys. I would probably have all my need met for 6 months.

  13. From Thai PBS World Thailand was shocked recently by reports of online fraud victims claiming that hackers had secured access to their personal information through their charging cables, and used the stolen information to illegally transfer money out of their bank accounts. How to avoid online attacks After consulting with the Thai Bankers’ Association, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) clarified that the online fraud cases had not been caused by scammers hacking their devices through their charging cables in public places. The victims had downloaded trojan applications without knowing that hackers use malware to take control of their mobile phone remotely. The BOT and banks have issued guidelines, including urging mobile banking users to be cautious about applications they download to their devices. The BOT advised users to download applications only from official stores such as Google Play store and App Store. The central bank advised users not to click on links they receive on SMS or Line messages if they are not sure about the source of the message. The BOT issued the advisory amid a sharp spike in phishing messages sent by hackers via SMS, Line and email to lure receivers by tempting them with bank loans or financial rewards from banks or other institutions. The BOT issued the following guidelines to improve safety: – Mobile banking clients should update their mobile banking app or set up their mobile phones to automatically update the latest version of mobile app. The update is usually designed to prevent mobile phones from being hacked remotely, and upgrade their cybersecurity. – Mobile banking users are advised to avoid using unsecure mobile phones for financial transactions. For example, phones that turn off root/jailbreak, which will allow any application download, or phones that use outdated operating software. – Victims are urged to provide accurate information to concerned parties in order to timely address the issues. Should they find unusual transactions, they should contact the bank’s call centers or bank branches immediately in order to investigate the transactions. The BOT also issued guidelines to banks that if customers are not directly responsible for providing personal information to hackers, then the banks have to compensate the customers for any loss incurred within five days. 16. From The Star / Vietnam News Vietnam's famous food pho is a fragrant, subtly powerful dish that's even greater than the sum of its considerable parts. Its broth is a gently simmered stock of beef bones with onion, ginger and spices; it arrives pooled around banh pho, or flat rice noodles, and rare beef slices, topped with bean sprouts, fresh herbs, lemon and chilli. - Vietnam News/ANN HANOI, Feb 3 (Vietnam News/ANN): According to Australia’s top tourism website traveler.com.au, pho is surely Vietnam's greatest culinary gift to the world. An article posted on the web said people can argue long into the night about the world's best soup. Maybe it's ramen, laksa, bouillabaisse or caldo verde or even Moroccan bessara. What people can't argue, however, is that Vietnam's most famous soup, the pho, is in the conversation. It affirmed pho is a fragrant, subtly powerful dish that's even greater than the sum of its considerable parts. Its broth is a gently simmered stock of beef bones with onion, ginger and spices; it arrives pooled around banh pho, or flat rice noodles, and rare beef slices, topped with bean sprouts, fresh herbs, lemon and chilli. Pho was developed in the north of the country during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The pho obsession spread to the south in the 1950s, when the country was divided and millions of north Vietnamese brought their soup recipe with them to the south. December 12 has been marked as the Day of Pho in celebration of the nation's most well-known dish.

I was there only once and was mugged in the middle of a sunny day. It was a Sunday and took place very close to a Church that was so packed there were people standing outside at the back. Thankfully three heard my cry for help and raced to do so. I was very impressed that a pollce car was on the scene in little more than a minute.

It was most definitely linked to him being gay. His service is on Monday. Out of respect for him, his loved ones and his family, I will refrain from going into detail publicly. But just know that, especially for those here who like to come here thinking it’s a sexual playground, Rio and Brazil can be a VERY dangerous place. Rest In Peace, Kadu.

  21. From The Nation Bangkok kicked off a project to offer space free of charge for hawkers and street vendors in the heart of the city on Wednesday, clearing cluttered pavements. City governor Chadchart Sittipunt presided over the launch of the “Hello Hab-Re” (Hello Hawkers) project outside Samyan Mitrtown on Rama IV Road. The project will reorganise hawkers and street vendors in the city by allocating suitable areas that do not block public footpaths. The operator of Samyan Mitrtown, a mixed-use shopping complex, has agreed to provide space next to its building in Soi Chula 42 for registered vendors to use for free from Monday to Friday, 8am-2pm and 3pm-8pm. Chadchart thanked Samyan Mitrtown for providing the space, saying it would increase shopping opportunities, promote small entrepreneurs, and help tidy up the city. He said he hoped more private-property owners would join the project in the future. “The project does not require the city to invest in building more space for street vendors but instead promotes the use of existing space to the fullest,” said Chadchart. “If all parties work together, I believe Bangkok has enough space for everyone. We must learn to share to make the city more liveable.” The governor said that all vendors joining the “Hello Hab-Re” project at Samyan Mitrtown had passed food and sanitary standards of the Pathumwan District Office.

If you can’t get what you’re looking for at Kman or KK Massage you will have a hard time finding what you you’re looking for in Bangkok. As Reader said they advertise top or bottom. Bottom is probably going to lead to gay. Most of those boys are very good at their job. . Enough English spoken to get your point across. I’ve been using Kman for last year. Nothing lacking.

    First day in Bangkok

After getting too much sex in the last 2 days I have stopped to reflect on just 10 paid encounters and I have to say I must have not chosen the right guys. There seems to be a lot of pillow princesses, I have to do all the work! in Brazil they all want to kiss me, and I mean put their tongue deep down my throat, not just pecks, and they touch my body as if I actually was hot, also they suck me without prompt. Here if I don’t specifically ask, they won’t do anything and even when i ask they do it only reluctantly. Some of them have issues getting hard. I mean it is fine they are hot and I am gonna keep enjoying their bodies, but I worry I will leave without actually having felt “wanted” (except by the freebies on Grindr). It is also easily double the price from Rio. Let me know if you have a view on what I am doing wrong with my hires. Going to Foodland for breakfast later on (today, Wednesday 1st), I’ll wear a red T-shirt, if anyone is there and wants to say hello.

    Jupiter show & Mr Boom

With age dementia must be hitting me because I noticed that from trip to trip I like Jupiter more and more. Visited last night, just before show bar was packed to standing room only. I was barely squeezed in, almost on lap of other patron. From the look at audience I can tell Chinese wave is back. Jupiter is finally joining 21 century, in the show one could observe no less than 8nerect members attached to at least 6 different guys. Five were somewhat discreetly covered in mesh but other 3 ere in plain view. Now if I think again perhaps is not dementia but those dicks, starts with "d" anyways. But old sins still persist, music insanely loud, boys hidden other than their parade, show too long and disinterested look of most of boys parading. Shocking scene, Chinese lady sitting in 2nd row tried frantically tip one guy but he did not notice her hand with if I, m not mistaken 500 baht note. She sat down disgusted and did not try it again. As always I tipped one of guys 100,he grabbed it but during second parade he did not even look at me, I was sitting right by walkway, not that he must have been confused. At end of day when singers took over, finally several bare chested guys stood right by the door. So I opened door, in a second realized how stupid move that is, closed, stepped back and invited some well muscled guy to sit down, gulp a drink at my expense and it took less than minute that our fate was sealed. Off fee and boy drink came to 950, don, t know what was 450 and what 500 (my drink was 500 when I entered) Paid with 1000 and did not receive change, it will be a while before I tip waiter there as I must recoup it. Before I asked guy, Mamasan announced tip for the boy of 3000 and from somebody who offs from there often I knew it,s too much by 500-1000. But I had feeling it may work so gulped that. Off we went to UNESCO designated where my companion ordered most expensive dish on offer, some steak. I was after dinner already so had a tea and some tart, so you understand that 525 invoice was NOT for what I consumed. Then to Rose and things went very well . Word is coming to an end, my 2nd off from Jupiter in few months and guy performed very very to a degree that even with those greedy antics I, m thinking about repeat. Of course at good bye time he asked for taxi money only to be told "you already got plenty for taxi" but to his credit he took it with smile and even Lined me "thank you" from said taxi. For such tip expected but still.. So Jupiter I despised for so long finally hosts in my heart.

    Taipei Info/Tips?

Hospitality employees are high in the gay ratio....lots of people working from Thailand (before Covid), Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines....being the easiest and most willing to hook up with, the Eastern Europeans were too straight to do such a thing, from my experience. I'd cruised enough that I was known and knew a lot of the crew members....most were for free, a couple needed financial incentive to do something as a pretext that they weren't gay. 30 yrs ago it wasn't a huge deal if a crewmember was caught in the pax cabin, but as they merged and got bigger ships and a lot of females were raped or thought they were raped, it became prohibited. If caught , the crewmember would be sent home at the next port of call. But with the right planning and raging hormones, some crew were easily convinced to come....they knew that I knew the routine and when they found out where my cabin was, out of sight....they would come. I had a Thai guy that eventually "jumped ship" (an expression used when they don't go back to their country and stay in the US) and came to live with me in the US. But prior to that I had been on a 10 day and then later a 32 day cruise where he slept in my room every night..... His boss was sleeping with one of the female waitresses, which is not allowed either, so we had an agreement....I don't bust your balls, you don't bust mine......worked out well.

From Coconuts Bangkok Aiming prop assault rifles as they “beat” and “sexually assaulted” civilians, Myanmar nationals brought to a Bangkok street this morning the brutality being visited by the military upon their friends and families back home. Guerilla theater performers acted out scenes of violence in front the Myanmar Embassy, where hundreds of protesters converged on the second anniversary of the 2021 coup d’etat to call attention to the Tatmadaw’s ongoing violent pacification campaign back home. “We want to show the world that, no matter where we are or where we fled to, Myanmar’s people need justice,” said Zayar, who learned of the protest through Whatsapp and Line groups used by hundreds of Myanmar citizens residing in Bangkok.
