We have used up all the space on a massive server (photos and videos forum) and we have to upgrade SSD Drive. The hosting company will do this and the server may be down for a bit while this is happening. Sorry for the inconvenience. The server has been slow for a few days as the space was slowly eating away the memory. Thanks to those that reached out to tell me this was happening to them as well. Now, we will apply some fixes.4 points

So, I am old and bored and went back yet again. The lad I had chosen was the same one as before multiple times. But, I ensured the VIP room was available this time and @paulsfyou are right, it is a fucking climb up there (5th Floor). The room was a great VIP room but did have its own shower which I liked. The lad I chose was from Laos and was sweet and a decent massage and excellent sex. I would happily return again for him and a few others.4 points

Update about the 9-teen massage shops in silom. The 9-teen massage shop, on Thanon Silom corner with soi 6 is still busy with customers. I have been there twice when Prime Massage had no availability for me and a friend. The 2 times where good, more average looking boys than handsome boys (Issan boys) but with good massage skills. This place is clearly for gays who look for a good massage and a happy ending... not a full sex massage shop like the other places in silom soi 6 (the massage boy stays fully deessed during the session). Paid 800B for 90min aroma oil massage. Nice room with in-room shower, what i really like (shower before massage... never take a shower at the end to benefit from the oil on the skin). 500B tip for the boy after a good blowjob to end the session (minimum tip displayed in lobby is 100B). The very new 9-teen massage shop opened 5 days ago just a few meters away. Just inside the silom soi 6. Same owner, same name (?), but higher prices for new rooms and a more "premium" experience (not very sure about that). 900B the 90 min aroma oil massage. Large and nice lobby (see pic). It is an additional shop. The older one (still new) will continue to work and "send customers to the new shop when fully booked" said the manager. Manager told me the gay massage business was indeed working very well in Bangkok now. Some of his staff are former Thai bar boys who don't want anymore to sell themselves in gogo bars but prefer a better and more "stable" income in a massage shop.3 points -

You could also luck out (sarcasm) on a boy that is from out of town that conveniently overstays his welcome at your place because he either doesn't have a hotel booked for the night or he doesn't want to travel far to his accommodations on the outskirts of the city. You think it's cool at first that you have this hunk in your bed, but you eventually realize you can't get rid of him. Sure, after overstaying the sex is now free, but your still on the hook for meals and maybe a little extra if he's low on cash. But soon you realize that this guy is hitting you up everyday to hangout in a way to discourage you from seeing other guys. His thinking is, if your with me there's no need to have sex with anyone else and spend all your cash on me. These are the guys that go to the sauna and ignore all the clients because at the end of the night they know they are going home with you. Additionally, other GPs won't approach you because this guy will give them shit if they do. This is one reason you see some GPs spend all night with one client. These guys pay little attention to the other clients because they have a client as their guaranteed meal ticket. Why would the boy chance going with another client if he knows that he's been with that guy before and he knows his kinks, fetishes, and he isn't treated like trash and is well compensated. That guy knows he could probably hustle and get 3 or 4 (huge maybe) clients and possibly make more money, but why work so hard if you can get one client that gives enough to be comfortable. When I had GPs spend days on end with me it usually starts off with them overstaying and inviting themselves to things I was going to do. I certainly didn't pay them for that time and I imagine it is the same way with the other clients as well. They have clients they either like to spend time with more or that they think are more lucrative over the long-term. Sometimes it's a slow night and that client seems like the best option to get paid so they stick with that client hoping for that payday.2 points -

I would like to solicit input relative to the actual subject line of this thread ⊠"Want to do something special for a guy" If you have a 'special' Thai guy and really want to do something 'special' for him⊠What would he consider 'special' as contrasting to what I might consider 'special' ⊠For me it might be dinner at a really nice restaurant but then he likely could care less. Maybe giving him some cash with the specific instructions to send it home to mother⊠He might consider that 'special', I would likely not. I would really value some input from guys with experience in such transactions⊠Thanks in advance.2 points

From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Although prostitution between consenting adults has been illegal in Thailand since the 1960s, Pattayans have always known that the many laws covering sex for hire, brothels, backroom frolics, pimps and soapy massages are to be taken with a pinch of salt. Some of the arrests over the years have been quite bizarre. A raid on a Pattaya club hosting âindecent displaysâ resulted in the arrest of two stage-hands playing backgammon, whilst a buxom maiden detained for âprovocative dancing in the nudeâ was released after arguing successfully that she was not naked after all. She was wearing a top hat. Currently, there is mega-agitation by Thai pressure groups such as the Empowerment Foundation to reform the law wholesale by making adult prostitution legal for the first time. Leader Thanta Laowilawanyabul has campaigned for many years to give dignity to sex workers by providing access to social services and health care, whilst protecting them from nasty brothel keepers and human traffickers. Some politicians are showing interest in a parliamentary bill after finding out that paid sex could be taxable. Cynics say the real issue, as in the legalization of casinos debate, is who gets to milk the cash cow. The Pattaya sex workers themselves are far from convinced collectively about legalization. For one thing thereâs the issue of zoning. Itâs being suggested by government spokesmen that lawful commercial intimacy would be restricted to certain areas such as Walking Street in Pattaya. 25-year old Samantha said, âI and many others get our johns (clients) on Beach Road and not in night clubs. Many men want to cruise in public at night. Forcing us into restricted areas isnât going to work.â She also claimed that 10 percent of female prostitutes in Pattaya are migrant foreigners â Ugandans and Uzbeckis for example â who wonât be covered by liberalization of the law in any case. They are usually fined 100 baht (US$3) for a first offence and deported if persistently on the game, according to local media reports. A transvestite prostitute, who goes by the name Sunny Side Up, argued itâs a myth that legalization dignifies sex workers. âThe whole idea is to copy Germany and Holland and to make money for the top people.â She explained she had visited Australia with her former boyfriend where she found out that in Victoria government-sponsored casinos authorized the redeeming of casino chips in local brothels. Her friend Eggs Benedict said that most girls-on-the-game she knew were free-lancers who certainly did not fancy registration and health checks with the authorities in return for paltry state benefits. While it is claimed by liberalization groups that decriminalization would not result in an expansion of the sex industry, research from other âliberatedâ countries suggests otherwise. A more likely consequence in Thailand would be an explosion of tabletop dancing extravaganzas, peep shows, phone sex, porno and bondage centers in the zoned areas as they will experiment just how far they can go. Payments to corrupt policemen wonât stop. The situation in gay areas of Pattaya, notably Boyztown and Jomtien Complex, also has to be taken into account. For example, go-go dancers are forbidden in Jomtien which is technically described as a âresidential areaâ. That distinction might be hard to maintain when gay clubs are part of the hank-panky zones. While it is undeniable that human trafficking and physical and sexual abuse are part of the prostitution game worldwide, it is far from clear that decriminalization in Thailand will bring about the golden dawn promised by the legal reformers. Meanwhile, patrols by police and welfare workers found no trace of prostitution in central Pattaya on a well-publicized night march last month. A prostitute later admitted she had hidden behind a tree whilst the procession passed by as she contacted her john by mobile. âWhatâs the point of changing the law on night clubs when people prefer to use their telephones?â she wondered. Quite so madam.2 points

My take on this is different. For me, the reason that conservative posters thrive in the Politics forum is because their views are more in sync. When non-conservatives come there, they come from a larger variety of view points. The conservative posters always argue with the less conservative posters, who seem to think they can persuade the conservatives. That's highly unlikely and I wonder why they bother. If the simply ignored the conservatives, it would take away some of their fire.2 points -

This is the first time I have heard of ChatGPT! And the description above is too long for me to bother reading it, sorry. I seem to have managed OK without it! As for the subject of the thread and the two versions of the article @TotallyOz posted, mostly they are rubbish! Neither really provides anything like a true picture of the Bangkok gay scene. There are inaccuracies (@reader has already pointed out the fact that DJ Station is in Soi 2 and not Soi 4), to suggest that the Bangkok Gay Pride Parade "attracts thousands of participants from all around the world" is utter nonsense! The only Asian Pride Parade that does actually attract thousands of active participants is in Taipei. Additionally the trendy and upscale clubs are in Thonglor, not the other way around in Silom Soi 4. What's an "inclusive hotel"? As for restaurants, I always thought Siam2nite is a website and not an eatery. Perhaps I am wrong. Also as a 20 year resident I have never heard of David's Kitchen. Isn't it in Chiang Mai? There are vastly more gay friendly eateries, at least some of which should be listed (even including @vinapu's favourite, the 7-Michelin starred Foodland đ€Ł). As for museums and galleries, is there in fact even one that regularly showcases LGBT exhibitions? Not that I know of! Apart from the inaccuracies, both articles are far too full of almost meaningless generalities when what is needed in such an article is detail, detail. detail! Nothing about specific bars, gogo bars, massage spas etc. I get the impression this was actually written 30 or more years ago and appeared in publications like Spartacus (although the Pride Parade did not actually start until the late 1990s)!2 points -

Contacted then, 6 years ago on PlanetRomeo. Capetown gay Community was active then and there was always lots of fun. Don't try to do the same thing in Ghana or Senegal. Many scams. I had many proposal in Lome (Benin) but always declined for the risk of scam. This is my personal experience. A few years ago. From The Nation A 61-year-old Belgian man, who goes by the name Willie, has been earning a living in Singburi by collecting empty bottles. Willie lives with his 32-year-old boyfriend Cherdsak (surname withheld) and the boyfriendâs parents in Khai Bang Rachan district. Apart from collecting bottles, the family also earns a living from gathering raintree leaves to be sold to fertiliser factories for 35 baht per bag. Cherdsak said he met Willie three years ago in Pattaya, adding that the Belgian man left his country after being fed up with life as a family man. He had been forced to marry a woman in his younger years and their son is now managing the family tour agency. "Willie never returned to Belgium after leaving it six years ago," Cherdsak said. Meanwhile, Cherdchaiâs father Ping said Willie is a good son-in-law as he works hard and helps with household chores. He added that Willie earns about 1,000 baht a month from collecting bottles, and this covers the familyâs power and water bills. âMy son asked Willie to stop collecting bottles, but he does not listen,â Ping said.1 point

ChatGPT takes exams from law and business schools From CNN ChatGPT is smart enough to pass prestigious graduate-level exams â though not with particularly high marks. The powerful new AI chatbot tool recently passed law exams in four courses at the University of Minnesota and another exam at University of Pennsylvaniaâs Wharton School of Business, according to professors at the schools. To test how well ChatGPT could generate answers on exams for the four courses, professors at the University of Minnesota Law School recently graded the tests blindly. After completing 95 multiple choice questions and 12 essay questions, the bot performed on average at the level of a C+ student, achieving a low but passing grade in all four courses. ChatGPT fared better during a business management course exam at Wharton, where it earned a B to B- grade. In a paper detailing the performance, Christian Terwiesch, a Wharton business professor, said ChatGPT did âan amazing jobâ at answering basic operations management and process-analysis questions but struggled with more advanced prompts and made âsurprising mistakesâ with basic math. âThese mistakes can be massive in magnitude,â he wrote. The test results come as a growing number of schools and teachers express concerns about the immediate impact of ChatGPT on students and their ability to cheat on assignments. Some educators are now moving with remarkable speed to rethink their assignments in response to ChatGPT, even as it remains unclear how widespread use is of the tool among students and how harmful it could really be to learning. This is how people react when the human intelligence is about to being overtaken by machines. We saw this already a few times in history. First, the Chess players laughed and said, "a computer will never play Chess better than humans". Well, nevertheless it happened in the 90s and the world champion has been defeated . Nowadays, any smartphone plays better than any human... Then, the Go players laughed and said, "a computer will never play Go better than humans, it is way to complicated and you need real inteliigence to be able to play it on a good level". Well, in 2016 the computer won against one of the best players in the world. It is pretty clear that soon we will be overtaken in many more things we are so proud of only humans are capable of. Who knows, one day, machines will even have better sex than we have ...1 point -

4,000-baht fine on drivers failing to stop for pedestrians at crosswalks
Ruthrieston reacted to PeterRS for a topic
Another useless government exercise! The fact is that it is extremely difficult for drivers to see some of those zebra crossings until they are virtually on top of them. Britain has flashing orange beacons on the roadside of zebra crossings to provide a timely warning to drivers. Thailand has nothing other than signs actually on the road. Besides, how are the police going to find the vast majority of drivers who do nto stop at such crossings? Are they suddenly going to increase pollice numbers? We can also ask what has happened about the law introduced just recently about fines for passengers who do not wear seat belts in the back of taxis. I rarely see anyone wearing belts in the back seats. Indeed in many taxis i have taken, there is still no connector into which to plug the belts.1 point -
I agree with the first part but definitely not the second. In my view it has absolutely nothing to do with being paid or not. I referenced the gogo bars 30-40 years ago when the majority of the customers were Thais. How often have you seen lots of Thais in gogo bars in the past decade or more? That has nothing to do with their not preferring to be with farang. It's a sign that as the Thailand gay scene and Thai society has developed, Thais increasingly want to be with fellow Thais rather than in bars where there are increasing number of farang. Times change. The same trend has become very obvious in other countries like Japan. As a gay bar/club/sauna culture developed in the 70s and 80s, young Japanese gays found it extremely difficult to form relationships with fellow Japanese. This reflected the long work hours of Japanese, the closeness of housing making it extremely difficult to keep any kind of MtoM sexual relationship private in a country in which the vast majority frowned on them, and overall low salaries. Gaijin generlly had large apartments in Japanese terms, far larger salaries and much more personal freedoms. Many young Japanese found it was far more convenient to live a gay lifestyle by attaching themselves to a foreigner. On my early visits to Japan, such relationships were extremely common. With Japan having become very wealthy since then, with social attitudes changing and same sex civil partnerships now legal in several parts of the country, Japanese preferring to be with fellow Japanese has rightly become much more the norm.1 point

He is also offering day trips to many of the smaller paisa towns around MedellĂn in Antioquia department, like GuatapĂ©, La Ceja, Santa Fe de Antioquia and others (JardĂn is in the works). I gave him my number here so I can do a day trip to test the service and get a better sense of how serious he is about this new enterprise. Prices are very reasonable -- under COP 300K for the day including transportation (about $75USD). For those wondering, he made it clear that he was open to sex, but that is in no way part of the package. So this may not be your perfect fantasy option.1 point -
I don't get offended easily and surly not about a massage place. Each person has their own likes and dislikes. Thank goodness. I referenced Cloud as that is the 2nd place I have come across and tested that has the same type of clients (both same area as well with many wealthy Asians). Some westerners believe they are the economy of boys here. That is not the case and these places are good studies in that. I have seen multiple guys from Cloud and the sex is not great, but the place is beautiful and I love the sexy guys massage and without sex it is reasonable (for me). But, if I didn't go, they would never miss me. Or, you, or anyone else on this board. This is not their customer base. Of that I am 100% certain.1 point

New location has two levels and toilet has the shower so bring your towel, lol. It, s in the house formerly occupied by the owner. Soi 49 is roughly across the street from Assumption Roman Catholic cathedral compound on the stretch of CHAROEN Krung between Silom and Suriwong. Long but doable walk from Silom ghetto or take a BTS to Saphan Taksin and it, s perhaps 7 minute's walk from there. Once you find soi 49 just walk in, at the end there's sharp turn left and Madrid is in 3rd building facing elevated highway.
