  3. Today is the first day of the new lunar New Year. Rather than just send everyone best wishes, i thought this pretty inapporpriate Bugs Bunny cartoon might be more fun. For those not acquainted with classical music, most of the music is from Wagner's Ring cycle and Tannhauser operas. It's very cleverly done!

  4. The short answer must be “It depends on the person you find attractive”. A rapid solution would be to ask the guy you like how much he needs to earn that evening, and offer to pay him that for his exclusive attention. A new guy may be very happy to hang out with you all evening with you paying for all drinks etc as well as the fee you agreed with him beforehand. An experienced guy, who has regular clients, may not want to spend much of the evening with you. He may not want to risk disappointing his regulars by being exclusively with you. Maybe you should ask this question of a guy you really like and want to spend extended time with. Just decide what you’re willing to pay and how long you’d like to be there, so you can ask something like ‘How much will it cost if we have 2 programs and spend 2 hours extra just talking, drinking etc?’

Considering "Telephone Pub" closed a long time ago, becoming Circus, my guess is this is a paid article written by someone who has never step foot in Bangkok. It could quite easily have been written by ChatGPT, as these AI only have access to outdated information.

OK. The author forgot to mention the vibrant sex trade industry in Bangkok, both gay and straight. For many tourists in Bangkok, affordable prostitutes are the main attraction.

  8. I have never experienced anything like this, but I have heard something similar, although by the time the story got to me, it was third-hand, so I cannot swear to the accuracy of the details. If I recall correctly, it happened in Pattaya. A boy was offed in the usual manner and was already halfway through the proceedings in the hotel room when the mamasan called. They boy then told the client that he had been instructed to finish within the next 30 minutes and get back to the bar as another customer was arriving soon. Since the boy had a follow-on booking, and he wanted to be sure he could rise to the occasion when needed, he told his client that he would not cum. This abrupt turn of events naturally left the client very frustrated. I don't know what financial adjustments were made.

The first article places DJ Station in Soi 4. Obviously "ChatGPT" has never been to Silom. From National Public Radio (USA) This 22-year-old is trying to save us from ChatGPT before it changes writing forever While many Americans were nursing hangovers on New Year's Day, 22-year-old Edward Tian was working feverishly on a new app to combat misuse of a powerful, new artificial intelligence tool called ChatGPT. Given the buzz it's created, there's a good chance you've heard about ChatGPT. It's an interactive chatbot powered by machine learning. The technology has basically devoured the entire Internet, reading the collective works of humanity and learning patterns in language that it can recreate. All you have to do is give it a prompt, and ChatGPT can do an endless array of things: write a story in a particular style, answer a question, explain a concept, compose an email — write a college essay — and it will spit out coherent, seemingly human-written text in seconds. The technology is both awesome — and terrifying. "I think we're absolutely at an inflection point," Tian says. "This technology is incredible. I do believe it's the future. But, at the same time, it's like we're opening Pandora's Box. And we need safeguards to adopt it responsibly." Tian is a senior at Princeton University, where he majors in computer science and minors in journalism. Before his recent foray into the limelight, Tian's biggest plans were graduating college and getting his wisdom teeth pulled. Now he's fielding calls from venture capital firms, education leaders, and global media outlets. Over the last couple years, Tian has been studying an AI system called GPT-3, a predecessor to ChatGPT that was less user-friendly and largely inaccessible to the general public because it was behind a paywall. As part of his studies this fall semester, Tian researched how to detect text written by the AI system while working at Princeton's Natural Language Processing Lab. Then, as the semester was coming to a close, OpenAI, the company behind GPT-3 and other AI tools, released ChatGPT to the public for free. For the millions of people around the world who have used it since, interacting with the technology has been like getting a peek into the future; a future that not too long ago would have seemed like science fiction. Despite having studied AI, Tian, like the rest of us, was gobsmacked by the power of ChatGPT. He and his friends used it to write poems and raps about each other. "And it was like: 'Wow, these results are pretty good,'" Tian says. It seemed like everyone on campus was talking about how remarkable this new technology was. Sure, the text it generates is pretty formulaic and not always accurate. But it also feels like the beginning of a revolution. For many users of the new technology, wonderment quickly turned to alarm. How many jobs will this kill? Will this empower nefarious actors and further corrupt our public discourse? How will this disrupt our education system? What is the point of learning to write essays at school when AI — which is expected to get exponentially better in the near future — can do that for us? Stephen Marche, writing in The Atlantic last month, declared "The College Essay Is Dead." He paints ChatGPT and the AI revolution as part of an existential crisis for the humanities. "The essay, in particular the undergraduate essay, has been the center of humanistic pedagogy for generations," Marche writes. "It is the way we teach children how to research, think, and write. That entire tradition is about to be disrupted from the ground up." Edward vs The Machine After the fall semester ended, Tian traveled home to Toronto for the holidays. He hung out with his family. He watched Netflix. But he couldn't shake thoughts about the monumental challenges confronting humanity due to rapidly advancing AI. And then he had an idea. What if he applied what he had learned at school over the last couple years to help the public identify whether something has been written by a machine? Tian already had the know-how and even the software on his laptop to create such a program. Ironically, this software, called GitHub Co-Pilot, is powered by GPT-3. With its assistance, Tian was able to create a new app within three days. It's a testament to the power of this technology to make us more productive. On January 2nd, Tian released his app. He named it GPTZero. It basically uses ChatGPT against itself, checking whether "there's zero involvement or a lot of involvement" of the AI system in creating a given text. When Tian went to bed that night, he didn't expect much for his app. "When I put this out there, I just thought maybe a few dozen people at best might try it," Tian says. "I was not expecting what happened." When Tian woke up, his phone had blown up. He saw countless texts and DMs from journalists, principals, teachers, you name it, from places as far away as France and Switzerland. His app, which is hosted by a free platform, became so popular it crashed. Excited by the popularity and purpose of his app, the hosting platform has since granted Tian the resources needed to scale the app's services to a mass audience. Fighting The Hallmarkization Of Everything Tian says he has a couple primary motivations for creating GPTZero. The first is transparency. "Humans deserve to know when something is written by a human or written by a machine," he says. Along these lines, one obvious application for GPTZero is to help teachers identify whether their students are plagiarizing their essays from ChatGPT. "Teachers from all over the world are worried about this," Tian says. Some in the technology world, however, are not quite sold that copying and pasting what ChatGPT spits out is even a problem. "'ChatGPT plagiarism,' is a complete non-issue," tweeted Marc Andreessen, a venture capitalist and Internet pioneer, earlier this month. "If you can't out-write a machine, what are you doing writing?" Elon Musk, one of the original co-founders of OpenAI, recently tweeted, "It's a new world. Goodbye homework!" in response to reports that schools were imposing strict new measures against ChatGPT plagiarism. Of course, these are just flippant tweets. But it really does feel like we've entered a new world where we're being forced to re-evaluate our education system and even the value — or at least the method — of teaching kids how to write. Many of us lost our will — even our ability — to remember phone numbers when cell phones came along. By outsourcing memorization to a machine, we've become dependent on it to call our friends and family. You might say it's been for the best, and it's freed our minds to concentrate on other matters. Or you might consider it a kind of de-evolution, a dumbing down of our mental abilities. Don't lose your cell phone! Now humanity faces the prospect of an even greater dependence on machines. It's possible we're heading towards a world where an even larger swath of the populace loses their ability to write well. It's a world in which all of our written communication might become like a Hallmark card, written without our own creativity, personality, ideas, emotions, or idiosyncrasies. Call it the Hallmarkization of everything. But at least when we give people Hallmark cards, people know we're giving them Hallmark cards. If you use ChatGPT to write your friend a congratulations or an apology, they might not even know it was written by a machine. Which brings us to the other purpose that Tian envisions for his app: to identify and incentivize originality in human writing. "We're losing that individuality if we stop teaching writing at schools," Tian says. "Human writing can be so beautiful, and there are aspects of it that computers should never co-opt. And it feels like that might be at risk if everybody is using ChatGPT to write." Tian is no Luddite. He isn't trying to stop AI in its tracks. He believes that's impossible, and, he says, he opposes blanket bans against use of ChatGPT, like the one recently announced by New York City public schools. Students, he believes, will use the technology anyway. And, he says, it's important they're able to learn how to use it. They need to be aware of the technological changes that are sweeping our world. "It doesn't make sense that we go into that future blindly," he says. "Instead, you need to build the safeguards to enter that future." As for his plans after college, Tian says, the excitement — and clear demand — for his new app has convinced him that he should concentrate on making it a better, more accurate product. "If you're a teacher or an educator, our team — which right now is just me and my best friend from college, who just joined yesterday — we would love to talk to you," Tian says. So if you encounter some text that you suspect may be written by a machine, maybe run it through Tian's new app? You can find it at GPTZero.me.

In another thread at the moment ("Sao Paulo and Rio in January 2023") some are discussing older visiting white guys doing unexpected well with younger non-GP free guys in Rio saunas. That has been my surprise in Brazil as well. In my experience, those of us who are pale males do not do remotely as well in Germany (or northern Europe in general) where we are not at all a novelty. Of course, your mileage may vary.

  18. Day 1 - The arrival My flight arrived at DMK around 6.30pm on a weekday, so immigration was smooth and minimal wait for my luggage. I am always guilty of overpacking, and this time around, I had to use my bigger luggage since the carry-on size cannot fit all my stuff, thus I decided to use a taxi. My flight did delay by about 1 hour, nothing too bad, but had I arrived on time, I could have shared a taxi with a forum member who just arrived from a trip an hour earlier. Arrived at the hotel around 8pm and arranged to meet with the forum member for dinner at G around 9pm after I unpacked and showered for the night out. I decided to first visit the lesser known bars for tonight, so we went to smaller bars on Soi 6, Golden Cock/Nature Boy, Super A and New Twilight (Queen). Queen unfortunately is not fully open yet, and told us they might have a show on the weekend, so we decided to not waste time there. We passed by Nature, which seems to have some boys not my type, and Super A, which has their door closed and no one outside, so we decided to skip. It is still quite early though. I also peeked through Tawan to see how small their new location is and indeed it is really small, but they had quite a good number of boys there. Since I've yet to visit dreamboy since they moved to patpong, and now they have moved to the old Lucky boy location, I decided to finally give dreamboy a proper visit and see their shows. As mentioned by many threads previously, dreamboy moved to lucky boy's location, upstairs. When you go up the stairs, even on the outside, you will see several boys, some shirtless sitting there, quite a feast to the eyes if you like the kind of boys on offer. Previously, the two huge pillars in the middle obstructed the view of the stage if you were unlucky enough to be seated behind them. Dreamboy decided to put the DJ table right there in between the two pillars thus it solved that part quite efficiently. We were seated in the second row which was fine for me, but yes, the music was way too loud to have any decent conversation. Decent numbers of boys, continuing the tradition of lucky boys, easily more than 40 boys of many sizes and ages, but no one is my type. I tend to be very picky body wise but more tolerant with the face, and I couldn't find one I wanted to off. Their infamous macho straight dancer who only goes with girls is still there, doing a few dance numbers as well as being the DJ there. He would've been the only one I might consider offing but too bad he is not available. Anyway, the show was just ok for me, the big cock show was there, the fake jerking off show was there, the drag shows were still there too but they seemed to do away with the funny slapstick comedy show by the katoeys. Since I didn't find anyone I like, we decided to leave. After I said goodbye to the forum member, I went back to Tawan and sat down. Ordered my drink and the boys were rotating on stage 3 at a time and yes all of them were wearing underwear with one of them, the obviously gay one who isn't as muscular as others, wearing a jockstrap. I saw one guy I like, an older type, but with a nice manly exotic face, with beautiful darker skin and a perfect muscular body, not too big, not too small. Asked him to sit with me and bought him a drink. The usual question of introduction, how long in Thailand etc, and then down to business. Asked if he is willing to go with me, yes. Asked if he will do LT, he paused, then said he is tired and asked if we can do ST. Told him, no. It is my first night here and I'm not compromising what I want haha. I asked him a second time, and said my offer, and he still hesitates. In the meantime, my eyes are already eyeing another guy, and through our conversation, I sort of felt like he doesn't really fit the kind of guy I want personality wise. So when he still says he can only do ST, I told him I am looking for LT and asked the guy I'm eyeing to come down as well to sit on my other side. Seeing this, he got the point and asked if he could leave and I said yes. This new guy, better looking than the guy before, bigger in size, typical thai skin complexion, body builder type body that looks like he is ready for competition. Bought him a drink as well and the usual conversation ensued. He is Issan, and will go with me for LT but asked for a higher tip but still within the range I'd pay for that quality. So I said yes, I'll off him. and he can get dressed. He went to get dressed, I paid the off fee and drinks, and off we went back to my hotel. Everything went well, I liked the chemistry with this guy and of course I enjoyed his body more lol. He woke me up a bit earlier than expected saying he needed to leave early though, something I usually don't have big issues with but certainly will impact my decision for a repeat. As in, he will not be my first choice but will still be in the running. Anyway, I went back to sleep after he left, and he asked me if I was ok with him leaving early and I said I understood. He seems glad that I didn't make any issue of this and yes, it's not a big issue for me. Side note, one forum member who I met before did reply to my thread and asked when we could meet. However, he didn't reply to my DM and line, but more on that for next update. Next - Day 2 - Getting into a routine

  19. A gay-owned coffee company in Rio has launched in just the last two weeks called Jacu (after the bird, it is not Jacu Bird Poop Coffee). I met the owner, and he is impressive. He is pushing diversity and has hired a great team. One of his executives I met is a guy who grew up in a favela and is now finishing his third year of law school. The company pays his tuition and high salaries. I asked how I could help. If you are in Rio, you can order the coffee at @jacucoffee. It is shipped the same day and takes about two days to your location in Rio. Just great tasting coffee and the picture on the box is the owner's farm. He also said they started to use social influencers to add followers to @jacucoffee. They are opening a coffee and doughnut cafe in Rio Sul. Can we help to drive up the Instagram numbers? Can work to get placement from more retail stores in Rio and SP. And when you are in Rio, ordering some coffee makes a great gift. I just brought back 12 boxes to the USA. Selling at R$39 for 250 g box in Brazil, this same quality coffee in the USA would be priced over US$15. Say they are expanding to the USA market, have meetings set with large retailers. Sorry did not see this topic before I posted.

  20. From what I hear, more and more people are routinely getting banned from that so-called Company of Men site. It seems as though the only people who can survive the constant purges of the cabal-in-charge are the people who constantly post QAnon conspiracy claims and insult anyone who dares to push back. Logical minds need not work too hard to detect a connection between organized right wingers and this site which at one time discussed male escorts and masseurs. I remain open to be proven to be wrong. But unlikely.

    First time in Rio

Sunday : I feel like I need to get a bit culture since I arrived in Rio , I did nothing , but beach , restaurant and sauna - I did a walking tour with free walking tour group - I was nice , informative and great way to check out Centro! Beach for the rest of the day , then club 117 again , it was a slow night for 117- I felt like there might be more boy than customer I did the first session with my first one in sauna again and it was heaven - he is my top three guy here in Rio then I found him - my kind of guys. I don’t know how to explain - I see handsome guy , I see hot guy, I see gorgeous guy - somehow he is really my kind of guy - he took my breath away when I saw him - it sounds so sad typing it out !! I don’t want my first time with him to be in the sauna !! I don’t need to discuss with him about money , I told him I want him for the rest of the trip - p pay him whatever he wants - I had the best sex all night long - at this point , my sanity is gone - I’m completely in love with him !!!!

  25. I also like 3some - massages - 4 hands and I don't like to do it in the massage shop - so I pay a premium over what others here in Pattaya / Jomtien pay to do it in the massage shop. I pay 2.000 baht to each guy - 2 massage guys - so, 4.000 baht. Some will sure SCREAM and say that I am overpaying for this local market but I do not believe so by much more. Here is an example if I do the same thing in a massage shop: 500 paid to the massage shop 1.500 tip paid to guy #1 1.500 tip paid to guy #2 ------ 3.500 to do it at the massage shop instead of the comfort of my home where I control the music, lighting, oils and lotions that we use, what we drink, fun chat time also on my balcony to know the guys better. Also, at home I do not need to worry about some things that freak me out at some of the massage shops; bugs and insects, where do I put my valuables when I take my shower, strange smells, temperature is too hot or too cold, I do not like the music, etc. so, for a 500 baht premium I am VERY happy to "order in" for my massage fun...

  27. From Canada I have split about evenly between Air Canada to São Paulo direct, or Copa to Rio or other Brazilian cities via Tocumen. The latter has always been fine, and sometimes staggeringly low prices at any fare class. The one hassle has been nail-biting extremely short layover in Panama, or dreadfully long, ie, 4-5+ hours. Shockingly, my checked luggage has made it thru 45-minute connection (that is their shortest but “legal” layover) but I would probably try to restrict to carryon in that event. In winter there’s always the risk of weather delaying Canada departure and messing with short layover, but so far so good. April would likely not pose that problem from DC. Also, both legs shift according to day of week. Generally, I look at one-way schedules for windows of desired days, give or take, and strategize from there based on the layover variations and possibly prices. Obviously, whole trip return then booked to capitalize on lowest fare and guaranteed destination. Lastly, the Tocumen expansion may mean a longer more stressful sprint from arrival to transfer gate. And annoying pop-up repeat X-ray security clearance at times directly at transfer gate.

  40. I dont think they were reorganizing. Perhaps i should be clearer, when i wrote not fully open, they are actually open, with staff at door and boys inside, but they dont have any shows and none of the boys (4 or 5?) are on stage. As all of them fully clothed, hard to tell if all of them were boys or mixed with staff. When we asked the staff at the door, they says they are not fully open, and told us that they might have shows during the weekend. Exactly. I think the reason they are not yet fully open is due to lack of boys/staff/performers. It is sad affairs indeed as it seems like the bar is bleeding money without any plan on how they might recover their investment. Hopefully those currently in bangkok can investigate what really happen with this club and report back.

  41. I too wonder how that Queen affair is developing, it looks their boys dispersed to other bars, saw one of dancers in Jupiter's feed just yesterday. I wish them well though, they just need more boys. Spoon's adventure in Tawan shows that some guys will not got LT , no matter what compensation will be offered , of course within reason. Likely 20 000 would do. If reason of not accepting LT offer was money then he would counteroffer. That's still better than accepting and then looking for excuses to leave earlier. I like that approach "It is my first night here and I'm not compromising what I want ", I wish sometimes I had such steely resolve seeing prime offing material.

  42. First time trip report- please be kind. Arrived Thursday night/Friday morning. Flight was uneventful and we landed at BKK at about midnight. Took about 20 mins through immigration and bags were already rolling out. Picked up my bag and went to get a cab. Stall number 46 was my guy, and away we went. The driver was hauling ass most of the ride, and then slowed down to a crawl on the mostly empty highway. I realized he didn't know how to get to The Raya- (thanks Vinapu), despite me showing him the address in Thai. I whip out google maps and then direct the ride for the final 20 mins. Upon arrival, I suggest the driver should pay me since I did the navigation. He didn't think this was quite as funny as I did, but I tipped him well so all was forgiven. Checked in, checked the apps, and passed out. Friday- I decided to walk around to see what had changed since the pandemic. I walked past Green Massage to see if my guy was still there. It was relatively early, but there were only 2/3 people sitting outside, and my guy was not one of them. (When in Bangkok, I like to treat myself to a foot massage almost every day, as it's so cheap. I found a guy at Green that is great. Once, he convinced me to go upstairs for a full body massage, and it got sexy! He's not really my type, but he was so nice and eager, so I enjoyed the massage and the extras with him. Let's call him U. I figured he went back home during the pandemic and I would never see him again, but I went to check anyway. Hope springs eternal they say.) So, as I walked past the dog leg near Prime Massage, I am almost at Silom Road when I hear me name being called. Turn around, and there's U! He's a at Relax Thai Massage now- on the right after the dogleg. The guys there all wear black. Anyway, we hug and chat for a minute, and I tell him I will be back in an hour and get a foot massage. AMAZING start to Day 1. But I was on a mission so I continued on my way to: Foodland! I needed to get my favorite facial soap and they sell it there. I got the soap and some other things and check out. I was tempted to drop into the Unesco World Heritage Site 5 Michelin starred restaurant, but I had a foot massage scheduled and I needed to drop off my purchases. So we will have to save it's delights for another day. Foot massage was great, as always, and U would stick his hands up my shorts and tickle my balls every once in a while- I would smile and he would giggle. He's very sweet and I am glad he is back in Bangkok. We chatted about the pandemic and losing work for so long (I also lost work the entire time) so I could fully empathize. Massage ended and Ieft with a promise to return the next day for another. Paid and tipped and went to lunch at Mango Tree. I have a tradition of Pad Thai at Mango for my first lunch in Bangkok. I also wanted to see the situation on that soi, so I walked down that way after lunch. Couldn't really figure out what was happening with the new place Queen or New Twilight or whatever- confusing to say the least. Will need further investigation. Back to hotel to relax for a minute and shower as I was heading to Arena in the late afternoon. I walked down Silom and into the plaza were Arena is. Went up and was met outside by the boss man. He said something as he opened the door, and about 20/25 guys all hopped up. I usually just pick a guy I like the looks of and see what happens. In this case it was a muscular guy who had a really great smile and seemed eager. So up I went with Mike. We got to the room and I took another shower. Mike comes in and he showers and is just as sexy naked as I thought. He speaks decent English and is nervously chatting and laughing. He tells me it's his first day, which of course I do not believe. But when the massage starts, I think- maybe it's true... Instead of a half-assed attempt at massage, I start to get pulled and twisted and pummeled as in a traditional Thai massage. This is unexpected, but very nice. The nervous chatter and laughter continues throughout. He also places little kisses and bites on my ass every once in a while- nice touch! About 20 mins later, he starts with the requested cream massage. This feels awesome and he uses his strong arms and body all over me. He grabs my hand and puts in on his nice sized rock hard cock. He then asks to fuck me- but I am a top so I say "I fuck you!" More nervous laughter as he apologizes, but I say it's OK- no problem. We continue the massage and he starts to jerk me off and play with my ass. It's not gonna happen, but does feel nice. The ending was strong and I was sweaty. I get in the shower and he gets in with me and soaps me up and continues to grind on me and smack my ass- like we are in the locker room. He tells me several more times that I am the one to "open" him- meaning first customer. We dry off and get dressed and he playfully changes out my shoes with his- all the while laughing and joking with me. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for sure! Was I really his first customer? Or was that just more Magic of Thailand? I suppose there's no way to know, but it was a great afternoon. Back to hotel, short nap, and then off to get some dinner. I stopped in Hotmale Beer Bar and had a pint. Chatted with the guys there, then on to Soi 4, as I haven't yet seen it with life. It was hopping at about 8 pm! Went to Circus and had some fried rice and another pint. Then off to Dreamboys to see how it was. I loved Lucky Boys, so I was hopeful. Well- let's just say the guys weren't great. Seated in the back and left alone by the managers, and there were probably 25 other customers inside. There were a few guys that would be fine, but as it was early, I paid the outrageous sum of 500 baht for my beer, and ventured over to Hotmale upstairs. Only 4 other customers there. But i ordered a beer and there were some cuties for sure. One guy caught my eye, number 32. Cambodian guy, super cute, gay, and speaks good English! Score! He goes and gets his clothes and I pay for our beers and the bar fine and off we go. As it wasn't even 10pm yet, we walked back over to Soi 4, and a tout that I knew from BC (before covid) managed to pull us into Banana Room. The show was going on, so we were seated by the infamous Lucy. I am feeling generous, so I buy Lucy a drink, for old times sake. My Cambodian (S) enjoyed the show- said he had never seen it before. I also gave him a few red notes to tip the performers which he seemed to like doing. We watch the show and it ends with big cocks on the metal pole. Pay the tab and head out. We dropped back by Hotmale Beer Bar for a nightcap and talked. S was very touchy-feely and planted kisses on my cheek and lips. Very friendly and fun. Paid up there and went back to the hotel. As soon as we get int he door, he drops his clothes. I ask if he wants a shower. No, he says. After, with you. Alright then. So we get into bed and he lived up to his promise to do everything. And everything we did. A really passionate and fun guy! We hopped in the shower after and went to bed. Snuggled all night then woke up and had a morning session. We got each other off again, showered and he left. So that's how my morning started on Day 2. He is a definite repeat. More later...

  45. igPay atinLay is where you move the first letter to the end of the (English; translation not required) word and add "ay", or similar. (Polite request to all: please don't ! đŸ€«. I think we've quite enough thread drift, from Phuket massage to members' vowel habits.)

I must say I find 12is12's alteration of the spelling of words bothersome. But then I never used "Pig Latin" in grammer school. So I just skip his posts...

no, I was talking about visual pleasures. On another hand scenario you are painting is far from impossible , specially on busy , touristy streets later at night. Not only you can strike conversation, they may be boys who will be first. It already reported in one of my travel posts but can repeat. late at night, probably past 1 I took walk from Nantra Silom in soi 8 toward soi 2, somewhere past soi4 I noticed guy, I guess about mid 20, walking in opposite direction. He smiled , I smiled back and kept walking .On reaching end of Silom I turned back and after a while I noticed the same guy walking quite slowly. When I was passing him he asked ' where u you going ? " , so I turned and said ' to ' my hotel " , ' can I go with you ?" was the next question. I could say NO but why sane person will be doing that ? so I said YES. Very pleasant companion, too bad I did not have phone and Line then. In the morning he clearly did not look for nor expect any tip but I slipped into his pocket him 1000 or two saying ' it's for breakfast and taxi". Similar situation happened in May by the bust stop at Christian Hospital on Silom and it was barely evening. Guy stopped me out of blue and asked 'do you want sex?", I did not take him on his offer as likely I had something arranged but he looked quite OK. So when you walk , yes have eyes opened and not only because somebody could drop 20 baht note.

  50. Grindr and scruff have been very weird lately. Five times in 3 days just before completing arrangements for a meet up for R$, the Boy's profile disappears. Perhaps I am having worse luck than the highly rated national football teams (at FIFA, a strangely high number of top rated teams have lost matches). Love Hotels: One of the hottest possible GPs I saw was walking towards 117 from the M Gloria area. I was about to say hello. Then he crossed the street and went to the Alameda Hotel (Love Motel) across from 117. Oh well. There is at least 1 love hotel / motel in Cinelandia near Sexy Rose on the parallel street to the west. In mid south Copa there is the Vanity Hotel. I think there is another in Copa near Leme, and another might be in Leblon. I have not been to any of these places this trip. Nor have I seen anyone else here post about using them. At 100 R$ or so (cost prior to COVID) seems a very safe place to romp with someone if 117 or pointe is too far away or if you do not require the social scene, etc. I have used Vanity in the past even for non GP encounters when neither of us was hosting. The rooms were clean.
