From Thai PBS World Free COVID-19 vaccinations stepped up ahead of increased foreign arrivals Due to an anticipated increase in foreign arrivals, Chinese tourists in particular, everyone, especially the those over 60, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women, those who weigh over 90kg, small children and those who have not been vaccinated, have been urged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or to get booster shots. COVID-19 infections are on the rise in several provinces. In the north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, for instance, over 600 cases were reported last week alone, with 14 fatalities, most of whom were unvaccinated. The vaccination services are free of charge for Thais and foreigners at state hospitals or health centres nationwide. In Bangkok, people who want to get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine can just walk in to the Institute of Dermatology, near the Victory Monument, or make advance bookings. The institute will provide a free vaccination service from 9am until 3pm on January 12th, 13th and 16th to 20th. Those who received their last vaccine dose over four months ago are advised to get another booster shot. ======== Barry Kenyon writes in today's Pattaya Mail that "All air passengers of any nationality, aged 18 and over, will need documentary proof of at least two anti-covid vaccine shots. The same paperwork could be required too by Thai immigration on landing, although this latter step may be on an occasional or random basis as the main thrust is on the shoulders of the air carriers. Unvaccinated or undocumented travellers will likely be refused boarding as will those who appear sick. "Most air arrivals will not be required to show tourist or anti-covid health insurance under the CAAT ruling. However, those arriving in Thailand with onward tickets to destinations which require RT-PCR clinical testing as part of that country’s immigration requirements will need Thai insurance. For example, both India and China both require all entrants, including their own nationals, to have RT-PCR health tests within 48 hours of their flights from Thailand. Thus Thai health insurance is needed for such travellers in case they fail their pre-flight covid examination here. "No guidance is given in the CAAT circular about the details of such insurance. It will presumably need to specify potential hospitalization in case of proving covid-positive whilst in Thailand. As with the vaccination record check, the main responsibility will be with the airlines to check carefully the onward travel plans of their customers, or risk heavy fines if they are less than diligent. The extra costs of insurance could deter some Chinese tourists from visiting Thailand as the financial blow has already caused some Indians to cancel Thai holidays. It is also unclear whether Thai hospitals and clinics have the staff or resources suddenly to guarantee thousands of RT-PCR within 48 hours of intended departure at a low cost, a potentially mammoth task."3 points -

I don't think that is quite accurate. China has been battling covid ever since it first appeared in Wuhan more than 3 years ago. Led by Xi Jinping's mad policy it assumed it could triumph over an invisible virus. Three years of massive city lockdowns and huge disruption to its once thriving economy. Now instead of being sensible about it, it has just unlocked the stable door and thrown away the key. No doubt this has something to do with Chinese New Year in a couple of weeks and the massive unrest that he would have faced had he forced the population to abandon the lunar New Year family gatherings for yet another year. For China this is not a new battle. It is the continuation of a huge failure which threatens to lead to an even bigger failure, one that will see covid spread massively within China. Some of those infected are now spreading to other parts of the world and/or putting the world's healthcare facilities at considerable risk. Classic buck passing. The allied issue arising from this is: can Xi hang on to power? The lockdown policy was his. The deaths that are now following are on him. The leadership in Beijing is not a unified body. It is rife with factions as we recently saw at the National People's Congress a couple of months ago. Will he be dethroned? We shall see.3 points -

I always try to find a gay "guide" who is with me almost 24/7. I prefer one I can sleep with and my ad for a guide on grindr states the same (GPS spoof into the area). when a man responds to the ad that I like, i try to build a friendship before I arrive. While I can and do enjoy being a slut, I am very happy with a single compatible friendly local man. Biggest problem I have is clingy possessive marry me issues. I am in the Philippines with a "BF" guide now. fun to be with, good in bed, hope I can keep him as a friend, no a husband. But, I would also hire a local non-sexual guide. In an ad for service, if non-sexual, I would prefer they state that like SiamRoads. (however, I have old experience with one SiamRoads guide that leads me to believe some may be more flexible as would be expected if there is some attraction). I would also like a picture. when window shopping guides, a sexy man will always get my first call.3 points

Not living in the Silom area affords me different people to be close to on the apps. Most are office workers and college students. Most will never respond to me. I'm patient and and also don't mind repeating a "you are sexy" many times. I saw a lad 2 years back that I thought was adorable. He was cute and sexy. I messaged him. No response. 5 other times over the last 2 years, the same. Never even responding. Today! Today was different. It was rainy and he was stuck in my area (just feet away) and did not want to go out in the rain so he responded. We chatted and I asked him what he was looking for an he said 1000 baht. I said OK. I know he was not a regular money boy as that rate was not regular. But, when he got to me he was very nervous. He chilled a bit with my BF and relaxed. Great sex. Afterwards many thank you's for a good time and he was off. Now, he has me on his friend list in multiple places and this cute junior accounting major has a new benefactor. He asked me to take him to a movie next week and I agreed. He said, "I'll buy your ticket if you buy dinner." Agreed. 2 fucking years later. Damn!2 points

Tour guide

Just curious. To those that says tour guides seeking business in gayguides forum must be willing to have sex as well... Where do these guides want to advertised their gay friendly businesses if not here in a gay forum? If a tour guides is gay, and wanted to find gay customers so he can show all the gay friendly places such as sauna and bars on top of the regular tourists site, i think it is very appropriate place to advertise here. Lets not forget siamroad is happily advertising their excellent tour guides in this forum too. While he did show pics of the guides, it is still strictly no sex involved.2 points -
Tour guide
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to bkkmfj2648 for a topic
Thanks to the primary 3 Thailand forums I have hired guides over the years that let it be known that their services are available. What I found were 2 different types of situations: - guide was ONLY for non sexual services - and I still enjoyed their company, knowledge sharing, tour guiding, etc. All of this was true with ONLY 1 exception where I encountered a non sex guide in Ho Chi Min (Saigon) city and when I finished with his good services I moved onto Phú Quốc island and he insisted to be my tour guide there as well. I told him NO - that I prefer to hire local tour guides as it renders the tours to be more meaningful in my opinion if the guide is from the local place as they can offer more insights and historical facts (this guide had NEVER been to Phú Quốc). Well, this guy would not take NO for an answer and after I arrived in Phú Quốc, he also arrived (me by air and him by bus/ferry). I refused to meet him and let him know where I was. So sad, as he was a really good guide in Saigon - but he became too possessive. Anyway, I hired a local guide from Phú Quốc, and he was GREAT (also non sexual but gay) - and thanks to him I had one of the BEST seafood meals that I ever had in my life in a rural fishing village. Two of these non-sexual gay tour guides made arrangements for me to find/have sex each evening - as they could arrange these encounters for me once I gave them my sexual program criteria. These happened in Hong Kong and in Seoul. In all counts, everything was perfect. - guide offered both sexual and tour guide services. In ALL cases these guides were great. We would tour all day and then at night we would have sex in the hotel -OR- he/they would take me to the local bar/club where we would off someone together. Their guide skills were excellent and in fact one was for a 7 day / 6 night tour all around northern Thailand where we drove around in their car. Again, an excellent vacation that I will always remember.2 points -
Yes, I had hired a guide on your recommendation, and he become my guide on every trip I made to Brazil. He even took me to a birthday party at his family's house, met his Grandmother, and I learned much about Brazilian culture I never would have seen or known. He became a friend and was definitely a reason for great memories and good times. He was a guide and no sex with him was involved.2 points

I wonder why you think this is fine? Two years ago, the world was in virtual panic as millions were dying of covid and many forms of measures against the virus were adopted in most of the world. This included lockdowns and the inability of most of us to travel. We were all afraid of getting the virus. Thanks to China's stupidity, first in trying to control the spread of the virus through extensive lockdowns rather than vaccinations and now in opening the stable door long after the horses have bolted, covid infections are not merely rife, they are spreading with great rapidity around China with the likelihood - according to many in the medical profession - of a million deaths in the relatively near future. The country's health system is overrun and unable to cope. We know that more than half the Chinese passengers on a flight to Italy tested positive. We know that 28% of Chinese passengers on a flight to Taipei tested positive. If these represent even a fraction of those about to flood the world, how are the world's health services going to cope? Yet you seem happy to accept the possibility of many thousands (tens of thousands?) of Chinese ariving in Thailand bringing covid with them. Yes, Thailand is much better prepared and many Thais are fully vaccinated. But vaccination does not mean you can not be reinfected. Three members of my own family and two friends in Taipei became reinfected even after three vaccinations. I am not prepared to treat anyone from China as an adult making his/her own choice - yet! I am not prepared to let the Chinese government use its economic leverage to pressure worldwide governments to accept its own citizens when it has done precious little to protect those citizens over the last 3 years. Thailand should do as other countries are doing - ban travellers from China until that country has covid under control.2 points

The Excellent Snooker Players Facing Long Bans
Ruthrieston reacted to PeterRS for a topic
I happen to be a fan of snooker and am glued to the tv when the main tournaments are being played. One feature of recent years has been the arrival of many young Chinese players. Two in particular have won major events. First was 22 year-old Yang Bing-tao who won the 2021 Masters title. Even more talented is 25 year-old Zhao Xin-tong from X'ian who won the 2021 UK and German Masters titles. His qualities as a player have been praised extremely highly by such greats as Ronnie O'Sullivan and Stephen Hendry. Most of these Chinese players moved to Sheffield in England when they were much younger where there are excellent facillities for their development. Now a huge cloud hangs over not just these two players but 8 others ranging in age from 19 to 35. All have been banned by the snooker authorities pending the outcome of investigations for match fixing. Fixing the outcome of matches is not confined to Chinese players. In 2013 the British player Stephen Lee was banned for 10 years. The integrity unit of the World Professional Billiard and Snooker Association monitors the betting industry very closely. It receives alerts when unusual betting activity is discovered. The detail of the bans presently imposed have not been made public. Given the massive increase in interest of the sport in China in particular, I can only assume that it came as a result of bets made in Asia. Given that most of these young Chinese are a result of the country's one-child policy, I can see the possibility of triad activity here. These gangsters would be unlikely to go after the players since they are based in England. But I can see them going after their families if the sons did not go along with their illegal activities. But that's a pure guess. We have to wait a few more weeks before the details are made public. Should illegal match fixing be proved, it will be good for the sport. It will also be sad to see so much talent banned for many years when they should be at their peak. Zhao Xin-tong, the world No. 9, is especially cute (!) and I will miss his participation on the international snooker tour! https://www.bbc.com/sport/snooker/641742441 point -
I met a lad I really liked on OnlyFans and we chatting a bit and then hooked up. He was popular so it took a bit of work. But, the sex was great. I saw him several times and told him I'll be gone to the USA for Xmas. He asked if he could go. I told him if he can get a visa, I'll take him. He said he had a visa but no way to pay now. He had a BF pre-Covid that got him a visa to travel but the BF died and now no way to go and to use. I agreed to take him for a holiday but could not spend long with him. I told him after we had 20 sessions together I'd get him a ticket. He asked if we could do 5 per day and I said, no sorry, I'm an old man. 1 per day is max. But, he was able to manage and I took him. I only wanted to stay 2 weeks and he wanted to stay longer so I made other arrangements for him while I'm away. We flew ANA Business class. The lounge was OK in Bangkok and the flight to Japan was also OK. But, the flight from Japan to USA was amazing. ANA is defiantly my favorite airline for Business class now. The seats are very comfortable, the size of the monitor is huge, the tray is easy access, the amenities were good, the food was excellent. I liked the screens that allowed for total privacy (except above them) but it made it feel like you were not next to anyone. I had a window seat and really it was excellent. OnlyFans boy had an isle next to me and he was in heaven. He took at least 100 photos on the plane. I did not tell him we were flying Business class until we were at the airport. He was beyond thrilled but did not realize totally why until we were on the plane. He was so happy he became part of the Mile High Club and I was happy to make him happy and he was happy to make me happy (so to speak). We spent one week in NYC at a nice hotel and I showed him many places and many things that I loved. I flew there to visit family and he wanted to go with me there too. I was leery but told my family this is only a friend and to not get attached. But, he loved being cooked for for Xmas Eve and Day food from the south. He really enjoyed helping my family in the kitchen and just being a part of an American family. I never go near the kitchen and just enjoy the food being prepared. He wanted to stay a month longer than me so I arranged for friends in LA and San Fran for him to visit and stay with. I do realize there is a chance he will never return to Thailand but that is up to him. He had money saved up for the trip but I gave him so more and got him a flight to LA. He made it to LA and my friends picked him up and now his journey is up to him. I need to be in the USA in Feb for a wedding so I'll fly back and if he is going back to LOS, he can ride on the plane with me again. ANA is now my favorite. I have flown Business on most airlines but not any in the past few years and for many years have stuck with Korean, Delta, Cathay, Singapore, Emirates, and KLM. I now have a new favorite that I'll use every time if the cost is not much different. This trip cost 180,000 round trip per person. It was the highest I have paid in years. I hope that cost goes down over the summer and believe when China opens up, things will get more competitive. Highlight of the trip for me, we arrived and had a few days of fun before the blizzard hit. He needed new clothes so we went shopping in NYC for winter wear. He found a really beautiful coat to wear and said he was excited to wear it in Thailand. (Why???). I don't think he took it off the entire time. I flew back on ANA and happy to shower in Tokyo. The shower was clean and nice. The one flaw with ANA is the lounges do not have great food. They have seats and drinks but the food is subpar. Still, on the plane, all is a delight. The service is excellent. Masks are required and after being in the USA for a bit, I got used to breathing without one. However, once the screens were up, my mask came off. I was worried about customs in Bangkok as I had picked up Xmas and Birthday presents for the past few years and most were in boxes and obviously new. I had 15 different wine classes that were all individually boxed but wanted to keep them that way for safety. No issue at all upon return. I always take AOT taxi as I had more luggage than most and it cost 1k baht for the trip to condo where BF was waiting for his Christmas presents. It felt good to fly again and it felt good to help a boy that I know will never be a bf but just a friend. He is on the trip of a lifetime and just knowing I had a little something to do with it, is a nice feeling. One funny story, I was in Atlanta in hotel near airport for one night to get my flight and met a lovely guy online Grindr and hooked up at hotel. Next day, he was my flight attendant on United. It was quite odd as he told me he worked for the airlines but I didn't think to ask about my own flight. Also, Atlanta had tons of hot, young, black guys on the apps (my favorites), and I got tons of messages the one night there. Thanks for reading. I'll continue when the boy comes back to Thailand with a brief story of how his time went if anyone is interested.1 point

How did you celebrate this New Year period Dec 2022 / Jan 2023 ?
GWMinUS reacted to bkkmfj2648 for a topic
Since I am still fairly new here in Thailand as a recent retiree - I would like to share with you my first Thailand New Year's Eve period to get your feedback. Part ONE - New House Blessing On 29 December and 30 December - a gay couple (Thai + Lao) that I know bought a new flat in the Life City Park over in Bo Win in Rayong. They can be seen in the below first photo - the one in the green t-shirt making the peace sign and his partner inside the house standing up and pointing. The monks were coming to the home early on the 30th so they asked me to sleep there on the 29th to guarantee my presence. I still don't have a car or motorcycle and we checked BOLT and its dependability on big distances like this during the crowded holiday period would not guarantee my arrival in time. So, on the night of the 29th about 30 of their friends and family stopped by or slept there ( 16 people slept in the actual house as they also came from far away ). They finished the food preparation for the next day and we celebrated by eating some of it for dinner on the floor on floor mats. At my age, it takes me some effort to sit like that as my body is now more rigid than when I was young. Are you able to sit and eat like them on the floor ?? The food was really good and I ate some things that I NEVER have eaten before. They even warned me to NOT use the hot sauce but I insisted on trying it anyway - and yes I sweated after eating it. Morning came and the 5 monks arrived and they sat in the living room on the floor on special mats that were delivered from the local Buddhist temple. My friends had to move out of the living and dining room areas all of their furniture. Conveniently, as this is a new housing complex, the house immediately next to them is vacant so they used that patio to put all of their furniture. While the monks were praying and blessing inside the house the most important people of the 40 in attendance were busy preparing the monk's meals in special silver ornate metal bowls - also delivered ahead of time from the local Buddhist temple. The part that most amazed me was the "opening of the third eye" - like right out of a science fiction film - as we don't give much attention to our individual third eyes in our Western world. So, the designated Buddha statue is given to the main primary monk where he makes this statue "operational" by opening up its third eye with a special Buddhist blessing. I believe that the third eye is like an antennae to our higher spiritual being (or creator). While the monk was performing this exercise, the hairs on my arm stood up as I found it so moving. I need to discover more about our dormant Western third eye. Do any of you reading this use your third eye?? I believe that it is located in the center of your forehead above your nose. Then the BIG event - the primary main monk got up on a chair above the main entrance of the house to paint / etch with a special golden pen a symbol that, according to my Thai friend, states that this house has been blessed and that evil is not welcome here. This process of etching and then placing seals on the etched insignia took quite a while and the gay couple had to stay on their knees for quite a while to support the chair that the monk was standing on to ensure his safety. Lastly, the monks then went through each of the rooms sprinkling "holy" spiritual water ( it is probably sacrilegious to use the word holy to describe what I saw in the Buddhist religion ) and then they exited the house to sprinkle this religious water on each of us to bless us. They used a type of bamboo bundle of sticks to do it and I was told that the religious water is prepared back at the Buddhist temple. Have any of you had similar Buddhist monk experiences in your time in Thailand ? This ends part one of my lead up to my Dec 2022 New Year's celebrations. Part TWO - Condo holiday party etiquette About a week ago the condo where I live solicited for donations to pay for a New Year's Day party for the staff (maintenance, security, gardeners, administration, etc.). What I found weird is that the notice was directed towards condo owners. So I felt excluded as I rent here. So I called the number and I spoke to the organizer and she told me - well we don't include renters - as our past experience is that renters don't want to make donations as they are not owners. I asked her if I could make a donation as I am made to feel VERY welcome here by all of the condo complex staff here. She was quite surprised that I even cared about the condo complex building staff - as she said that they even have difficulties in getting donations from the actual condo owners. The condo staff offer a great service. For example, if I am having difficulties coming home from shopping they are right at the BOLT taxi to help me get into the elevator and up to my condo - you never have to ask them. If they see you coming for the elevator they hold the door open to make sure that you can enter. Two times that I needed maintenance in my condo - the maintenance team was at my condo within 1 to 2 hours after my request. Every day when I go in and out they are always smiling and saying hello. We used to have this kind of concierge service in our large condo buildings in New York City in the 1970s and 1980s - before the ravages of self-service in the USA came and all of these types of normal services were either taken away as cost cutting measures or made to be very expensive for the select few who could afford them. Living here in a Jomtien condo building is a real treat - especially if you are a baby boomer who remembers the good old days. Being in the holiday spirit, I decided to take a personal initiative where I would prepare and give each condo staff member a personal card from me saying how much I appreciated their professional service and as a new retiree here that they make me feel special, welcome, and belonging to a great condo complex. Firstly, I had to find money cards. These are easily found back in Europe and in the USA during the holiday season. I had great difficulties finding something equivalent. I traveled over to Pattaya city and walked around until in a Mr. DIY shop at the Pattaya Avenue complex I found ornate Chinese money cards ( as the Chinese New Year will arrive at the end of January ) that were perfect and super cheap. Then onto my home computer to write the perfect thank you message in English and then to translate it from English to Thai and then back from Thai back to English to see what could be tweaked to make sure that I deliver a correct and meaningful message. Then the printing of the messages in both English and Thai that would fit into the size of the small money card envelopes. Then the ironing of the baht bank notes that I collected so that they would feel crisp, clean, and new. And then the assembly of the complete package - illustrated in the below photo collage. Before heading over to Bo Win for the above mentioned house blessing I went around lunch time downstairs to the main floor where the hive of activity is by our condo workers and I started to distribute them to everyone I could find. And when I could not find someone the staff were already calling them from their work duty station to come to the lobby to collect their holiday note gift. The smiles on their individual faces and kind words in their limited English - truly made my holiday the best!! In fact, one of the security guys - every time he sees me he taps his shirt pocket ( as he showed me that he stored my note in his pocket ) and says thank you - I will never forget you. Truly a blessing to live here as a new retiree. So, do any of you who live in a large condo building have any similar experiences? I am curious to know how your condo building team that takes care of you every day is treated. Part THREE - New Year's Eve festivities Around 10:30pm I headed over to the Jomtien Supertown Complex to join my 2 Thai friends at the massage shop where they work - they had already been drinking for quite a while and kept asking me when am I coming to join them. I wanted to start late as I was sure that I would suffer a hangover the next day. They were already dancing in front of their massage shop and I immediately joined in - and got about 20 minutes of dancing in. We drank until 11:45pm when we headed over to Dongtan beach to watch the local fireworks and the massive launching of the flying lanterns - the sky was amazingly alit and the beach was full of happy people. -->> sorry about the crappy third photo - as Koh Larn is quite far away - my mobile phone camera did not do a good job of capturing the amazing Koh Larn fireworks - but with the naked eye they were still breathtaking. What was also amazing to note is that there was a dual firework show put on by Pattaya city with simultaneous fireworks on Koh Larn. From Dongtan beach we could see the fantastic (although distant) Koh Larn island fireworks. However, from Dongtan beach it was not possible to see the Pattaya city fireworks due to the curvature of the beach and Pratumnak hill. So we were truly immersed in 2 sets of fireworks and floating lanterns. We hugged and kissed at the conclusion of the countdown and remained a little while to take in all of the amazing sights. Then we walked back into the Jomtien Complex and walked through the main covered section which by now was heaving with a TON of people and there was a blockage in the main walkway as The Palace bar had constructed a dance floor that protruded out into the main walkway. You had to kind of climb over one of the edges of the dance floor to proceed to our destination, which was the Coqtale bar to say hello to our friend Paul and then to hopefully dance in the Double Shot bar. At this end of the complex - near the Poseidon hotel/restaurant the complex had a reasonable noise level and we could truly talk with each other and hear each other. My fantasy to dance in the Double Shot bar was not going to happen as the Double Shot bar was kind of subdued in my opinion ( whereas, on other nights it was more energetic and there were some people dancing ) - so dancing was not on the menu tonight. The only dancing would be to return to the madness of The Palace and the loud noise so we just decided to remain at the Coqtale bar until closing time. Before I knew it, Paul (the bar manager) said to me, hey you need to go as we need to close the bar before the police come. I looked at my phone and it was already 2:30 in the morning. Wow!! the night flew by. So I said good by to everyone and then walked home - and woke up very late the next day with a hangover. Had I been able to dance - I am sure that by dancing I would have burned off some of the excess alcohol and I would have had less of a hangover. How were all of your New Year's Eve celebrations ?1 point -

You may be thinking of Maggie Choo's. Have never been there but here's a description from Hotels.com website: Maggie Choo's Bar is part of the Novotel Bangkok Silom Road Hotel. It can be hard to spot – you enter the bar through a small old wooden Chinese door outside the hotel. A flight of stairs takes you to a tiny Cantonese restaurant that’s reminiscent of the prohibition era of 1930s Shanghai. The bar is behind a black curtain on the side of the restaurant, which adds to its classy speakeasy theme. Maggie Choo's Bar has many massive private vault doors, oil paintings of sailing ships hanging on dark brick walls, and bust statues of Queen Victoria. From 10pm onwards, the mood changes with live jazz music, with renowned artists playing on weekends. DJs and rock bands often perform at Maggie Choo's Bar, attracting a mixed crowd. Drinks-wise, Maggie Choo's Bar Bangkok serves a decent selection of imported wines, beers and whiskeys, together with a decadent cocktail list. Location: Novotel Bangkok Silom Road, 320 Silom Rd, Suriyawong, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand Open: Friday from 7.30pm to 3am, Saturday–Thursday from 7.30pm to 2am Phone: +66 (0)2 206 91001 point

So he sounds like one of those Marry-Me-Filipinos... Too bad about your Rent-A-Boy with chlamydia. In my 15 years of visiting the PH I never had a problem. But then the first years I and the buy wore a Condom. Be careful because HIV is still prevalent in the PH!! My last trip I took Prep and did it bearback!! And I agree that Macho Dancer Bars are not worth the time. I tried one in Manila near Pedro Gil. Nice place but USD100 for the guy! And have also gone to Macho Bars in Cagayan do Oro and Cebu City. Same Same. Better to Call-A-Boy...1 point

How did you celebrate this New Year period Dec 2022 / Jan 2023 ?
emiel1981 reacted to bkkmfj2648 for a topic
I hate this. The last several times that I have been there - there were perhaps 20 to 25 guys standing there on stage where only 3 or 4 were shirtless. And then at the end of the night by closing time - the only remaining guys on the stage are the ones still with there shirts on - as ALL of the shirtless guys had already been offed. I love BBB --> BUT, the last time I was there in December with fellow member, @spoon the music was truly unbearable - it was so loud I got a bit nauseated - the first time in life that loud music made me this way - I am sure that the decibels were WAY over the permitted limits. Consequently, I now prefer X-Boys in Pattaya - as the music is played at a more reasonable level and the guys who work there are more willing to be nude and more sexual. There is even the live fucking show where they fuck in the audience - even on your lap if you let them..... This is still on my bucket list - to bring a group of fun guys over to Koh Larn to have a day or two of fun.1 point -

This could be no more accurate! As I said in another post quite recently, I regard social media as "unsocial media". I have a young Thai friend. He is intelligent, cute, has just graduated from university, speaks reaosnable English and has started his first job. He desperately wants to meet and fall in love with a foreigner. It has nothing (or very little) to do with cash or moving to a foreign country. He just wants the love and companionship of another human being. He happens to be a friend of my partner and we have met up quite often. A few weeks ago he had met a foreigner about whom he was becoming crazy. So the four of us went for dinner one night. This young man hardly spoke to his 'crush' during dinner, spending most of his time texting and staring at his phone. Afterwards, I told him quite firmly that when he was out with a foreigner the mobile phone stayed firmly in his pocket. He also had to learn the basics of starting conversations and making his foreigner friends feel he was at least interested in them - and not only in bed.1 point

Freshboys, Dreamboys Hot Male- Not many customers?
VancBCMan reacted to BiggusDikkus for a topic
I might have something to add to this topic. I spent a little bit of time in all three bars one night in late November, then after determining that Dream Boys was not for me, I went back to Fresh Boys and Hot Male one night in early December. Dream Boys seemed to have a good number of customers that first night, though a poor selection of not-really dancers. The other two bars had few customers. I didn't like that the drinks were painfully expensive and that the shows seemed to drag on forever. I was there to check out and maybe chat with any cute go-go dancers. Watching the shows was like being put on hold by my bank's customer service department. The waits always seem to be interminable. When I'm on the phone, I often get frustrated and hang up. When I'm waiting for the go-go dancers to retake the stage, I often give up, pay for my drink and leave. Dream Boys, with its complete lack of twinks, is definitely not for me. But it seems to draw the biggest crowds. Its customers seem to go specifically for the shows. Anyway, several days later, I managed to sneak into Fresh Boys about 10 minutes before one of its interminable shows began and called over two of the almost twink-like guys to have drinks with me. They were fun to chat with but no chemistry developed so I decided not to ask one or the other if he'd like to go back to my hotel. I wonder if some energy might have developed if we didn't have to pay attention to a show that all of us were only pretending to enjoy? This time, the bar had many customers, and the manager seemed to be injecting a lot of fun and excitement into the night. I recommend it to tourists who like the kinds of shows these bars put on. But for me, it was on to Hot Male, where several days earlier I had met someone I wanted to see again. The show had already begun, and the guy I had come to see was nowhere to be found. I sat down before realizing this, ordered a drink and kind of checked out the place. It, too, had a decent crowd, though smaller than the one at Fresh Boys. The guy I had shared a drink with earlier during my trip suddenly appeared, walked up to me and sat down. We quickly left for my hotel. At the hotel, he immediately lost his clothes and got right down to business. Afterward, while I was still in the shower, he was calling his friends and was in a hurry to leave. He left as soon as I got out of the shower and could see him to the door. Again, this was an expensive night, and it did not end with a euphoric experience. But I don't think high prices are the only barrier keeping gay customers away from these bars. They used to be gay go-go bars, and gay customers used to be able to go to them to meet cute young gay men. They used to seem like gay havens, much like straight go-go bars must seem like havens for their customers. But they have since morphed into something else. Now they are all about drag shows, big cock shows and other kinds of shows. These acts draw a lot of straight female customers and straight Asians who arrive in big groups. So if you're an old-timer looking for the kind of experience that used to be available at these places, you're likely to be disappointed by: 1) the high prices; 2) the seemingly never-ending shows; 3) a lot of straight customers who totally change the energy of these bars. The energy used to be that of sexual expectation. Now it's more of a spectating experience, like going to watch a movie with friends. And these bars, at least the three on Patpong, no longer feel like havens. They feel like the gay customers have become part of the show for the straight customers to gawk at. Not only do Grindr and Hornet offer cheaper, less uncomfortable alternatives, so does Silom Soi 2. It charges a 400-baht cover charge -- cheaper than a drink in a Patpong show bar -- and has retained its gay-haven ambience and its charged atmosphere.1 point -
First qantas flight Sydney to Santiago direct since pandemic began, onto Rio in a small plane with no business class. My seat mate in PE was a handsome family guy. When getting off he took the amenity kit, blanket and the pillow and an apple from the plane with him. He reminded me I have forgotten mine, I thanked him and explained my carry on bag was too full with no room for extra items. Take home message - maybe it’s okay to take away onboard items in South American flights? In my last 2 trips with United from IAH to GIG I saw seat 1A lady collected all used Polaris amenity bags from other seats, Sunday 30/10 - landed in time when announcement of Lula’s win was made. Firework outside of my window until after midnight. Not going out. V visited for the night. He is the tall handsome twink I met in my last trip. He and his cousin G always go to work together at 117. Now G got married to a rich girl and he has a Land Rover and Gucci sneakers. They have not been working for a month. I heard there is a truck driver protest-blocking highway from Sao pulo GRU airport to city the next day. I was lucky. Monday 31/10. Heavy rain está chovendo. Only pointe 202 open. Got there late about 8pm. Not crowded with only a few boys. Two were eager to offer the service sitting next to me showing off their big cocks. I have seen them both before. A new face with muscle from Uberlândia turned up. His name is T. I asked for price in front of all 3. Muscle guy T asked for 150, the skinny big dick guy asked for 200 then dropped to 120 for a 3some, then 150 with gozar (cum). I went with T solo as he said he is versatile, but he has never got a hard on in the room. His muscled arse and legs are unbelievable. He was excited to shivering when his nipples were played. I knew I was stupid but I did not put a condom on and eventually came in his arse. He was aware of the whole thing but did not say no. I gave him 200, asked for his WhatsApp and Instagram, and took a morning after pill when back home. He is not good at replying WhatsApp message. He has a degree in ME. He is handsome too. his balls are apparently shrunken. We all know why by seeing his perfect muscled body. That’s the price to pay. take home message - 1) have some prep/ anti viral ready for my future trip as I can’t predict when I will act stupid again. 2) if you use steroid to grow muscle, your balls will shrink. Tue 1/11 supposed to be the biggest night for 117 but there was a massive storm at 6pm. Still a good turnout at 117 but mostly familiar faces. Half of the boys I know have had put on an extra layer of fat, the other half an extra layer of muscle to the degree I no longer like. I saw this new young guy with a red cap spreading his legs while seating in a table with clients. I always fancy long thick thighs. He was cute too. He went upstairs with a pretty hot client, and came back sitting in the table again. He has never been available this night. I decided to go home empty handed. A hot boy (I saw him before too) was sitting on the stairs waiting for Uber to Botafogo. Yes it is correct it takes ages for Uber to come if it is raining. Sneaky thing is that you need to pay first before the Uber app tells you how long you have to wait. Shopped for toilet paper and beef in the supermarket next to Gloria metro then jumped onto a taxi. No longer empty handed às I have my toilet paper rolls in one hand and beef in another. Got back to apartment in Flamengo I saw my neighbour girl screaming in the hallway escorted back by police. She told me 3 “men’s” were following her and trying to get her just 300 metres from here in front of lojas americana. I gave her a pack of chocolate and a can of Heineken and wished her calm down and sleep well. Take home message: táxis are more reliable than Uber when raining. Keep safe always even in the “safe” neighbourhood. Wed 2/11 biggest night at Pointe. Junior was bartending. Still raining outside but a good turnout of boys and clients. Still mostly familiar faces. Hot muscle T is here again (he does not seem to go to 117). I told him I wanted to bottom tonight and he did not offer to top. Went to upstairs bar to check out more boys and saw this giant handsome guy standing at 6”5 just finishing a client. Beautiful thick thighs. He asked for a beer and then another. He smelt drunk. Big hard cock but did not want to perform properly in the room. Hurried off but gave me his cum in the shower. I gave him 200 as he asked for before sex. He then came back to me saying 300 two minutes later. I said no as we have agreed on 200 with gozar. He then backed off. He told me he is 32. His instagram has his swimwear modelling photos. unsatisfied i started looking again. A short guy with solid but proportionated muscles came to me. We waited for 15mm for the free suite. I saw him before but never had him. He was 20 yrs old with 2 sons, he was doing a good job. Got to the steam room before shower to go home. Hotter and steamer than 117’s. A hard working garoto wearing a figure-of-8 splint for his recent clavicular fracture came for business. He spoke very good English and told me he has not had a client tonight. I apologised as I cannot take more dick and admired his working spirit. Take home message - garotos over 30 turn to be sneakier and softer muscles in spite of still in shape. I have had similar experience with another beautiful 30+ surfer guy who frequents both saunas, he cannot top, and is an unwilling bottom. let’s hope tomorrow will not be raining again.1 point

Not sure where to post my question/comment, so I am hijackng this thread. So, I don't understand this. There are some GPs who just sit and talk with pariticular client(s), and don't even look around and check if there are other interested clients. Am I correct to assume that this GP has already sold his gozada for the day, and is just relaxing with the client and a drink? I said this because I had the experience where I am interested in a GP at Lagoa, but he was chatting and drink with a customer. I kept looking at him, he eventually came over, we went to the room, he was personable and playful, but couldn't get hard. So I just pay him R100 and called it quit. From then on, I would not hire any GP who was not actively cruising for customers. In retrospect, I probably should have been direct with any GP and asked if he had sold his gozada for the day before I hire him.1 point

SP/RJ Return Trip

In the morning I went for a walk along the beach from Ipanema to Copacabana and enjoyed the day in the neighbourhood. Late afternoon it was time to get ready and catch an Uber to 117, which went smoothly. Arriving at 117 everything was familiar, no major changes. The evening was still early but I thought quiet for a Tuesday. Anyhow things soon got busy and the place was as packed as I remember, a good balance between customers and boys. Initially many of the boys I had seen at 202 the night before, then a few different faces arrived, some familiar from previous visits. There was a good mix of guys from muscle to twink. I must be getting too picky as none stood out to me as must haves. I hooked up with two boys one from 202 the previous night and a cute young muscle guy. Having a fun time with both. I did not stay for the show and headed out for sushi in Leblon before calling it a night.1 point -
