But I had promised Cambodian Jupiter twink to off him tonight for a 2nd time (after our first meeting the previous Saturday) so I told Aung I would talk to him tomorrow. At Jupiter, I still had half bottle of whisky. Cambodian Jupiter twink was delighted to see me. I learnt very quickly when I became a Pattaya regular that older guys were more fun, that they were more likely to be able to converse in decent English and that their experience of sex made them better practitioners. And that they kept their looks.

I had several fascinating conversations with bar boys over the years. When Classic Boys had to be closed because of a fire in the premises above, most of the boys were farmed out for a few weeks to other bars. Day 2 Similarly to our last time together nobody was in rush in the morning and it was only 11 am when we decided to part ways, they collected their tips and decided to skip breakfast as it was almost lunch time. Considering what happened between us 2 weeks ago one may criticize that I rewarded undesirable behavior and would be right. But I had reason to be generous and forgiving based on what I knew , what I heard from him and his behavior today. I’m believer in giving another chance and as I said here few dozen times already my second worst and best off ever was with the same guy two years apart. Or may be I’m just old fool thinking I’m in love and being blinded by that ? After he left I went to DasBerliner for a schnitzel. If biguyby reads this I’m pleased to report they survived covid without scratch and when there I was recalling our diners there . Hope to see you again in Pattaya my friend. Then I parked myself over beer in front of BBB. I was hoping bkkmfj shows tonight again but he lined me he is not feeling well and he wont. I was hoping to catch that another bare chested guy I spotted last night at BBB on his way to work and grab him right away before somebody else does. Plot worked. At one point he was just passing by so I stopped him , invited for drink and over drink learned his nick is Ben. He agreed to accompany me so I paid my tab plus off fee and off we went. He turned not only well built but also well behaved and we had good time indeed till quarter to midnight. Knowing HC is punctual I preferred to have that 15 minutes cushion. And he turned in as expected on the dot .

I have taken hundreds of boys from online, and dozens from the street, and never had a problem. Similar for a friend, numbers even higher, let's say 1000 boys without a problem. In best case the boy knocks on my door and this is the first time I meet him in real. There are disappointments (does not look as good as I thought), but the saving of time compared to meeting outside more than compensates. It was done both verbal and I left him detailed note, other driver present who spoke good English explained him that too so I expected process to be fast and smooth. When in arrival hall, he was nowhere to be seen so I asked dispatch to call him. He went to Swampy instead ! Realizing his mistake he told dispatch he is not coming to Don Muang to pick me up, rather he will hunt for some fare there. Fine, many fish in the sea, I was ready just to take one from taxi rank but dispatch told me she will have driver for me. We agreed on 1500 price and after about 45 minutes of waiting he showed up. I probably would be better off with my original plan taking somebody from taxi stand but now I had no choice . Can was shiny, driver smiling, it was not taxi , just her friend with car, but who cares ? Transport was secured. In about 2 hrs 20 minutes I was back in Boyztown. On my way I Lined bkkmfj I will be there and he showed up shortly in the soi. Today we decided to have beer at Pikky, after emptying our bottles there we went to Dreamboys. We were only customers there, about 8 boys available but none our type so after finishing out drinks we went to BBB. Boys were standing on the stage , among them few with tops removed . I told him I will Line him but knew already it will be a case. I got over issue we had long ago and still have soft spot for him. We even shook hands. I find that being able to have a conversation with a guy is an opportunity not to be wasted. Not only does it break the ice, it gives him a chance to relate to me in a non-sexual way that I very much crave. I want to know something about his life away from the bar or the shop. I want make a connection beyond the obvious.

The Navy released some additional information today about the search for the missing crew members but nothing encouraging was reported. The tragic sinking of HTMS Sukhothai is no exception. The aging corvette class Royal Thai Navy (RTN) ship foundered on Sunday night in rough seas off Bang Saphan district of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Kunakorn Jariyot, chief petty officer first class (CPO1), is a medic serving on HTMS Sukhothai. He went missing after he and two other crew were rescued and taken on board HTMS Kraburi, but he decided to jump into the sea again, with a life vest borrowed from one of the survivors, to help others who were still drifting at sea on Sunday night. He has not been seen since and yesterday (Wednesday) he was listed among the 23 crew still missing. Fondly called “Torn Mor” by the seamen, Kunakorn is a nurse who completed study at the RTN’s nursing school. He was always seen carrying a big bag full of medical supplies, no matter how heavy it was, according to one of the surviving seamen. He was carrying the bag when he was in the water. When the 106 crew members were ordered to abandon ship, Kunakorn and two others, Sarangkon, the deputy chief mechanic and a seaman, were in the same group with only two life vests. They held hands, which is a survival technique at sea, which they were trained to do and had learned from a book, according to a Facebook netizen who identified himself as “Woody” Kaweewat Boondet. While drifting at sea, the three were joined by another seaman, identified as Komkrit. “Torn Mor told me to grab his hand tightly, telling me that then, even without a life vest, they would not drown,” Kaweewat quoted Komkrit as saying after he was safely rescued. All four crew thought they would survive when they saw HTMS Kraburi approaching, but Kunakorn told them to swim to the stern of the ship, to avoid being hit by it. Unfortunately Sarangkon, who was the oldest in the group, appeared to lose his strength and was swept away by the strong waves. Only three of them, including Kunakorn, were plucked from the sea to safety. They were saddened at not being able to help Sarangkon, who “disappeared right before our eyes.” Then Kunakorn told Komkrit to give him his life vest, saying that he needed it to help the others still drifting at sea. From Channel News Asia BioNTech said on Thursday (Dec 22) it had shipped 11,500 doses of its COVID-19 vaccine to China to be administered initially to German expatriates, marking the first foreign coronavirus vaccines to be sent to the country. BioNTech said the delivery, which landed in China on Wednesday, contained both the original COVID-19 vaccine targeting the original strain of the coronavirus, and its updated vaccine targeting the BA.4/BA.5 subvariants of Omicron. "The arrival of the vaccine doses on the Chinese Mainland is a great milestone for us as joint partners with Fosun Pharma and our efforts to address this pandemic," said Sean Marett, BioNTech's chief business and commercial officer. The vaccines are expected to be available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Chengdu, BioNTech said. The group is working with Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical to deliver the shots to greater China.

When the China tourists return in force, and we witness their effect on the bars, we'll be able to draw some demonstrable conclusions. But as Vinapu observes above, the rest is just speculation as to what formula works for the greater number of customers. Meanwhile, we have no choice but to accept that the Bangkok and Pattaya of 20 years ago are not coming back. I was fascinated by their childhood experiences in Isaan and so on. About the arrival of electricity to their homes, twenty or so years ago and its impact. And where applicable, their experiences when they did their "monk duty". They said she has put on some fat, going from 87 kilograms to 90 kilograms now, which is about what an Asian elephant calf should weigh at birth. Veterinarians said they have been applying coconut oil to the wounds on her body. Caretakers are feeding Thanwa boiled rice water and milk powder every three hours. She still requires more rest. In early December, the calf was found injured at the Srinakarin Dam National Park in the western province of Kanchanaburi. At the time, wildlife officials said the 1- to 2-month-old calf had to be transported by helicopter due to concerns about her dehydration and kidney damage. Initially, they believed Thanwa’s family would come back for her, but there has been no sign of them, so officials employed a team of veterinarians to care for her. Can I respond although I am rarely in Pattaya? I do think there are some similarities between Bangkok and Pattaya. First, for decades I used to visit the Bangkok bars very regularly - yes, i go as far back as 1979. I loved the bars in the 1980s and 1990s. I loved being a butterfly. But age and relationships caught up with me. Being in a committed partnership I have had no desire for years to go to the bars. Some others are likely to be in the same situation. Second, the increasing wealth in the countryside. There is no longer a supply of Thai boys prepared to strut their stuff in the bars. Hence the need for bar owners to find boys from neighbouring countries most of them working illegally. Third, Thaksin's Social Order Campaigns in the early 2000s. Interior Minister Purachai was determined with unusual zeal for any government minister to rein in the sex trade. A deeply religious man who lived modestly, Purachai seemed hell bent on a one-man crusade with a mission to restore Thai values. His measures were incredibly popular in the countryside and had a greater effect on the bars and bar offerings than perhaps many gay residents and visitors realise. Fourth, AIDS. It may seem odd to suggest that what is now more a chronic illness than a death sentence had an effect on the decline of the bars. Thailand was extremely effective on getting the message about HIV/AIDS out to the country in the late 1980s/1990s when the bars were still doin great business. But parents would certainly have got that message through to their sons, many of whom would be mid-late teens by the early 2010s. My view is that this created a reluctance to work in the bars which were by then attracting vastly more foreigners than Thais. Who knew if any of those foreigners harboured the HIV virus? Probably few, but I suspect enough to affect supply. Of course Thai customers were as likely to be affected as foreigners, but better the devil you know . . . Fifth. Very obviously the apps are a problem for bar owners, particularly if their primary response is to continue increasing drinks prices to ridiculous levels. Those on vacation can save well over 1,000 baht a day by not going to the bars. Sixth. Shows and noise level. I have no desire to see ladyboys miming to pop and Thai songs at noise levels which hurt my hearing. The shows of yesteryear were fun with a variety of interesting acts. Big cock shows are about the only left over. Fascinating for some. Boring for others. Seventh. With one or two exceptions, the bars have failed to accept that their market is changing. They can not exist by coninuing to try appealing to ageing farang. The new Immigration financial requirements brought in 3 years ago rule out retirement in Thailand for more than a few. Brits, for example, who used to make up quite a number of the Pattaya expat community. I have no idea of the numbers now but most older Brits can not meet a regular monthly 65,000 baht income; even less have the ability to lock up 800,000 baht for 5 months of each year and 400,000 for the rest. Lastly, the copycat mentality whereby one bar is more or less the same as the next virtually ensures a continual downhill slide. To quote the late great Ethel Merman, "you gotta have a gimmick." Bar owners need something that marks them out as different and appealing, just as Barbiery was different from Twilight in the early 1990s. It seems Nice Boys has it, although virtually all the boys seem to be straight. Winner seemed to have it with its concentration on twinks. As for others, all I know is what I read here. From The Nation The secretary-general of the Anti-Money Laundering Office Piyapan Pingmuang has reportedly resigned following an allegation he is involved with Chinese triads in Thailand. News of Pol Maj-General Piyapan’s resignation was made public by former massage parlour tycoon and politician Chuwit Kamolvisit in a Facebook post on Monday. Chuwit also attached a photo of Piyapan’s resignation letter to the post. Chuwit said the resignation came after former Democrat MP Watchara Phetthong urged the Senate to investigate Piyapan and his deputy Theppasu Bavornchotidara for allegedly assisting members of Chinese triad criminal gangs in various illegal operations in Thailand.

Now thanks to LaoChina railway they have most modern trains in all ASEAN I guess. Taking a ride on this train from Luang Prabang to Vientiane was my goal nr 1, still railway man at heart after working for railways many, many moons ago. It was tourist tip not boy hunting one but it will be a boy, why not ? Flight from Bangkok was smooth and so was immigration. I had e-visa already. In the airport I exchanged money , for 50 USD at 17 500 kip per dollar I received 875 000. Now I know how rich have it ! As most of that money was in 100 000 notes I had concern that it may be difficult to get a change but unfortunately or fortunately it was not a case. 100 000 is about 6 $ so hardly princely sum even in cheap country like Laos. While in Cambodia USD is practically main currency and lots of prices , specially on tourist trail are quoted in dollars it’s not a case in Laos. In my week there I don’t think I was quoted dollar price more than 3 times , even for expensive goods. To finish money matters exchange rates in airport are very similar to ones in the city ( 16400 to 18200 )so changing money there makes sense. some view from airport Getting to the city was well organized , they sell tickets for vans, I don’t exactly remember was it 50000 or as much as 80000 and I was, along with 5 other travelers taken to our hotels. I was last in line , not that it matters as Luang is not a big city. My hotel was one of villas along Nam Khan river which is joining Mekong 300 meters downstream. Interesting and bit unusual thing is that waters of both rives have different color, Mekong’s being muddy and yellow. . Breakfast was included but it was in different hotel so every morning I had nice 6 minutes 23 seconds stroll there with voucher furnished by reception in hand. In the first morning receptionist actually walked me there to make sure I find the place. (Easy , on main street , breakfast was excellent, eaten under watchful eye of Buddha statue in wat across the street) . Luang Prabang is small , very walkable city and practically in every corner is some temple, more or less impressive. Then there’s Mekong and Kuang Si waterfall as well as Pak Ou thousand Buddhas cave so it’s easy to fill week or more there. In the evening on main drag there’s Night Market with souvenirs and food section -only place in Luang Prabang which is very busy . Oh, no, there’s one more. Phou Si mountain in middle of the city with temple atop becomes very busy at sunset , impressive from there indeed. For waterfall I took afternoon tour on the first day which turned not such a good idea (afternoon , not tour ) as by time we arrived it started cooling down and bathing underneath the falls was not as pleasant as it would be in heat of the day. Heat it too big a word by the way as mid Nov weather was very pleasant in Luang and in the room I did not turn neither fan nor A/C even for a minute during whole stay. But my advice for waterfall would be morning tour. On way back we visited Hmong village and were invited to see traditional house for small donation. Bit of tourist trap but still interesting In hotel I checked Grindr and there was question from very good looking guy if I want massage. Massage may be not but to meet that yummy guy certainly yes . We made detour to Foodland as he was hungry, I treated myself with some dessert still full after schnitzel and then all those drinks at HotMale. In the room he proved his worth, not that I ever doubted it but it’s nice when hired guy shows that he actually is happy with his task at hand. I satisfied his vanity side my praising his musculature but it’s worth a praise , not a gram of fat. It was great finish to day 8 and actually all Thai leg of this trip. Day 9 In the morning I felt it was right to up his tip by another 1000. Again no morning rush, just to get to breakfast on time , then I waved him good bye, returned to room to pack whatever little I had. Then had last walk around Silom and Surwong. Couldn’t see my friend as he was busy with finishing touches of his trip as well. Then BTS to Silom, MRT to Bang Sue and SRT red line to Don Muang. It took bit over 1 hour but immigration and boarding went fast and smoothly and soon I was waving good bye to our beloved Thailand for second time this trip. Good bye Bangkok, welcome Luang Prabang. Laos part of trip will be reported in a separate thread in due course. We have awful weather so it may be soon.

Day 6 I said not a bad end of day 5 reporting from previous day but now I need to add not a good start to day 6. After having some fun, thanks to those drinks at Banana, I feel asleep quite soon . Only, in middle of the night, to be waked up to light glaring from the phone’s screen and quite loud sound of music played right by my ear. Phone addiction suppressed last night resurrected. It was both annoying and upsetting, light , noise and obvious lack of consideration, specially at that hour. I genuinely like the guy so decided to bear it for a while but after perhaps 20 minutes I told him the it’s too loud and he may wake up people in other rooms. His solution was to go to the living room, at least he closed bedroom door so I fell asleep soon but when waked up in the morning bed was empty. I went to living room to find him on the phone , he did not even bother to rise a head, not to mention explanation or showing remorse.. Not exactly service one expects from guy hired for 4 nights. Why I said nothing I don’t know but I did not. Angel’s genes perhaps? We went downstairs for a breakfast, did not talk much as I was not happy and he was on the Facebook. Then I left him in the room as I went to UNESCO to see my friend , pick up my things I left with him 2 days ago and of course exchange news, not very happy ones on my side obviously. We agreed that it must be out of control addiction. In view of deal we had who would behave like that imperiling tip 4 times of 4000. Upon returning I found him on the phone again , did not even bother to raise his head to say hallo. Nice change was that shirt was removed, perhaps thought as consolation price for me. Angelic side of me announced that I’m taking boat along Chao Praya and asked if he is interested to go with me. .Answer was bit surprising , “ yes and on way back we stop at Icon Siam and you can buy me ( I forgot make) jeans for 2900” , just like that. I was left with no option that drawing his attention to fact that being glued on the phone all the time and ignoring me is not what I’m paying for . Answer was quiet and composed “ If I can’t use my phone I’m going back to Pattaya “. “ I won’t be holding you back” I said. In few minutes he was packed , said “ have a good luck” and was gone. I don’t know why but I gave him his 4000 for the time as agreed originally. I was not upset nor pissed off, in fact I felt sad for him as clearly this addiction spinned out of control and beyond logic. Who that way would waste option of making 12000 in 3 days ? In fact it would be 4000 more since my plan was to give him 1000 extra per night if all will go well. Obviously one of my most favorite guys of all time is in deep trouble but I can’t be taken for a ride to that extend. I’d feel bad for myself. So when he left I was relieved that I cut short such affair. Of course called my friend right away with news and he was not surprised and was as concerned as me about sanity of all that. Liberated, I took tourist boat from Saphan Taksin all the way to Kao San. First thing I did there was to sit down, gulp a Chang beer and eat my staple in Thailand – chicken with cashew nuts. I wanted to buy day pack as one I brought from home broke this morning (unrelated to my guest behavior ) but did not find what I wanted i.e. one which can be folded into neat package when not used so I returned to civilization and went straight to Arena for another serving of massage there. Today’s selection was even better than yesterday but since I noticed Fai whom I know from before Angkor Wat was built I knew right away who gets my business, specially that I remember his massage was outstanding then and was the same today as it turned out. Energized went to hotel as it was about time Christian PFC was supposed to show up and from there we went by BTS to Madrid Tavern to exchange news over pizzas there. Over years we developed system of ordering there two different ones and sharing them half -half. We walked back to Patpong , it’s actually not that far. We skipped bar visits as he is not happy with recent trend of fully dressed boys. I, believing that if you don’t have what you like , you like what you have, in the evening went to Hot Male. First had a drink and talk with P, one of new guys there, cousin of one of veterans as I’m eyeing him from day 1. Paulsf told me before I arrived that I will like that new boy and I did indeed. In fact I do like him a lot , I promised to off him some day soon since I had plans for the night already made as soon as HC left me in the morning. Then I took P upstairs for the show but shortly he was called to his duties to beer bar. Not that I felt orphaned as one of their guys whom I offed in May for threesome recognized me , smiled so I called him over , offered drink and gentlemanly told him I’m not offing tonight. Good idea as soon mamasan came and asked me if I will be taking him because some other customer is interested if I don’t. After a while I let boy go and got a glimpse of that other customer – young Asian who took him and one other boy. Vast stamp collection to show I thought. Right after the show I went to Tawan which was already emptying but still I had round of drinks with resident twink , Dam and K, who was one I was taking home as arranged in the morning after HC orphaned me.. I did not waste an opportunity to tease twink again that he doesn’t like me because never wants to go with me, we finally cleared that short time is OK, he refused few times indeed because was under impression I like long time only. I told him I like boys more than long time. K was not hungry so we skipped that part and went home on his new, impressive motorbike. Day 6 which did not start well at least was concluded nicely with massive hunk to embrace.

Great advice. It's exactly what I do. I haven't stepped foot in BC bar for years. Never been into Palace. Sun Bar I avoid like the plague. Bad actors should be treated as so. One of my best friends told me years ago when I was new to Thailand, "Reward good behaviour". I try to stick to that. It works very well. One boy in a bar takes his shirt off, we all tip him. The other boys see and some of them take their shirts off. We tip them too. It can go both ways!

Oh well, perhaps we should bear in mind that being farang does not necessarily mean they know anything about how to build a business....

Day 5 I could use more steamed night I thought in the morning but still was very happy I nailed long time with object of my silent adoration, LOL .At least he was quite clingy and did not complain about me disturbing his sleep like last time in May. Again I noticed he is attached to his phone, “ today’s youngsters” I sighted when I noticed at night he went to the toilet and took his phone with him. On another hand I thought it was considerate he did not turn it on in the bed . Copa doesn’t have breakfast so we went to BayView restaurant for first meal of the day and after that HC went to his room to pack, promising to be back at noon. I went to Paradise remembering I promised Wit to have another massage with him , on my way stopped at taxi booth by ‘metal tables ‘ restaurant and ordered taxi to Bangkok for noon at 1300, paid 300 there and 1000 payable to driver I was told. Wit did not show up so I went to my room to pack up, Lined him ‘ where you are ?”, “I slept in” answer come and was very disappointed when I told him I will be leaving at 12. ‘ Come to say good bye “ he asked. Since I did not have much to pack I went for a stroll to Tukcom and returned by way of Sunee Plaza of course completely empty at that hour but I just wanted to get some fresh air from there. Returning I stopped by Paradise to say good bye and consoled Wit with news I will be back in 2 weeks, he even walked me to the hotel where I found taxi waiting already, good 15 minutes before noon. HC showed up at 12 on the dot, I must command him not only for his good looks but also for being always on time, he must have drop or two of Swiss blood in him. Endearing to me as I know and observe difference between say, 4 and 4.05. It took 2 hours exactly to get to Furama Sathorn which since December trip become my favorite hotel in the Silom area. Big rooms with balconies , breakfast included , close to Chong Nonsi station. I was greeted with news of upgrade, their system probably noticed my recent loyalty and it turned out to be two steps up upgrade as I got a room with separate living room and bedroom . Since we were two and stay was 4 days I asked for 2 door cards, just in case. And nobody blinked and eye when they asked if I want 1 or 2 beds in bedroom and answer was obvious one. We went to eat something at modest Thai place in front of hotel , then HC asked if he can heave some sleep so I left him alone and went to Arena for massage greeted there by Art , the mamasan known to me since 3rd Crusade I think. About 10 guys , all muscular hunks so I had problem of picking one but went for biggest smile. Massage 800 for 1.50hr, I tipped 1500 and session was bordering on fantastic with both massage and afters. When I returned to the room HC was still asleep – I did not know I was so active last night that exhausted him to that extend but it was fine with me. He waked up just when I felt hungry and suggested soi 4 for a dinner , idea I liked so we went to G’Bangkok for my schnitzel and some Thai dish for him. It turned out he is friend with some guys from Banana Club across the soi so after dinner we went there to have some beers and drinks with his friends and when time came we went inside for a show and more drinks. Boys there are more on twinky and next boy side but I having HC beside me I did not pay that much attention to who is available but noticed one guy previously from New Twilight there. Since I tipped him there in May I repeated my “vinapu tuck ‘ with red note in Banana Club as well. We returned to hotel bit past midnight and after all those beers and drinks we were on quite jolly and possibly when walking and talking, loud side, he, he. Not a bad end to day 5. Room at Furama Sathorn, 6148 for 4 days , breakfast for 2 included

Day 2 In the morning my friend and I went to world famous Foodland for breakfast and information exchange. It looks that we both were happy with our Jupiter guys last night. Then, still talking on the way, we went to XOne to exchange some money. Good news , he got contact of HC he is pursuing and I hope to see too so things are getting even more interesting. Then we went our own ways but I got that bright idea to have pizza lunch in Madrid’s Tavern new location, Lined him and he happily agreed so early afternoon we took taxi from Raya for short hop to Charoen Krung soi 49. For those familiar with that area , it almost across the street from Asuncion Cathedral compound. Soi is narrow so we walked it’s length from main street, it’s just literally 3-4 minutes and found Madrid at end of soi facing elevated highway. If you are not privy with Madrid story- it was famous restaurant in Patpong 1, during Vietnam war it was apparently den of spies and one must admit long after maintained unique atmosphere and ambiance with long, traditional bar. Two things colluded – covid and owner’s mother death and she decided to move it to new location. Ambiance is gone , it’s now regular looking restaurant but good news, pizza tastes all the same and for me it’s best pizza in the world. Over lunch my friend shared great news, HC responded to him immediately and it looks may arrive as early as tomorrow morning. He was happy and so did I since HC is object of my secret adoration which I haste to say looks like one way street i.e I adore him but not quite other way around and our meeting in May was kind of mixed blessing. It disappointed me a bit but not diminished adoration it seems, lol. Returning I suggested we take BTS from Saphan Taksin station and indeed is pretty short walk there from soi 49. Shortly after we arrived in hotel my expected guest , arranged in the morning showed up – Besty , my Grindr masseur I engaged services of 3 times in May. I like him and his massage in any order and what is more important , it looks he likes me too, I could feel it very minute we embraced. His only flaw is he doesn’t do long time. At one point X went his way and anddy and I went to Moonlight on my suggestion since I knew my friend will be there. He was indeed inside with his local friend (in real sense ). What surprised me was that quite a few staff members as well as boys recognized me smiling broadly , likely smelling freshly delivered ATM. A, king of all hunks came to embrace us smiling as he knows all three of us and pre-emptively told us he is already booked tonight which was fine since we had our own plans set already. My friend announced that HC is coming to see him tomorrow so we decided to go to MahaNakhon at one point of day to entertain us and our guests since I expect K from Tawan to see me mid-day tomorrow. Show was quite long tonight and music too loud so when we left bar after midnight I was kind of relieved. We went toward Tawan and as usual after bar is closed (for some reason Tawan empties early , right after midnight , perhaps because most boys have day time jobs? ) few of their boys were drinking in the corner, two of them known to me – their resident twink and Dam I can’t waste such opportunity so asked them about going with me , first twink who declined quoting sneezing or something but I told him ‘ it’s Ok , you don’t like me “ so at least he tried to deny even if this was 3rd if not 4th time between May trip and this when he declined my advances. Then I turned to Dam but he requested tip higher than I was prepared to offer and did not budge so I gave both 100 each and marched with my friend to Super A. No customers there but still 3 boys available so we had them sitting with us. It was bit of fun as one of them , Lao boy was very witty and talkative, we checked what they have , one of them had his cock grossly deformed by silicon injection but and end of it we decided to go home empty handed , at least as far as Super A is concerned. Before we left we tipped guys for their time of course. On our way to hotel on Suriwong we saw few boys coming home after their shift in bars and at one moment I noticed Soviet, guy I know for few years from Pattaya and Sabaidee Spa. He was my rescuer in December. When I got drunk in the party there, Sabaidee boys tasked him with escorting me to hotel . I was quite eager to take him home tonight but he declined saying is going to some club with his friends to dance. What a evening , after two excellent encounters in the afternoon , past midnight I got 3 declines in span of perhaps 90 minutes, all from guys more (Dam and Soviet) or less (Tawan twink) known to me. Time to become monk I thought at end of day 2.

My experience at V Club 7, just a few weeks ago was also disappointing. After the guy decided that the oil massage part was over, he went to the shower in the room and washed himself. Then he returned to the bed, assumed star fish position, and said now you massage me. That was pretty much his contribution to the "afters"!

With so many massage shops in the area, you have a much higher probability of finding good time in the vicinity of 1500-2000 baht, tip included. No drinks to buy, no attitude to deal with are there are plenty of eager guys who want your business. And for an extra 500 or so to the house, they'll do outcalls. What's not to like?
