Day 1 Arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport at 11am. Quite busy and lots of people, but queues moved quickly, cleared immigration in about 15 minutes. Change from last I entered, now no longer need to fill up any paper forms. Took Taxi to Le Meridien Hotel in surawong road - my favourite hotel! In 2006, a local family erected the twin bridges for the first time and they’ve kept the practice going every November since. Although the bridges are designed primarily for tourist use, the construction is very traditional. Each bridge is made entirely of bamboo and rope (except for the lights), and though they might look (and feel) wobbly, they’re actually quite strong. They rely on bamboo’s natural strength and building techniques employed by Laos for generations. The bridges span the Nam Kahn until rainy season, when they are dismantled until the next year. The larger bridge, set at the picturesque bend of the Nam Khan just as it reaches the Mekong, connects Luang Prabang with two villages noted for their artisans—the weaver’s village of Ban Xieng Lek and the paper-making village of Ban Xiang Khong. I visited Luang Prabang before the bridges were built. It is a glorious town (it seems too small to be a city) and well worth a visit. Just walking around there seemed to be quite a few gay guys when I was there. Thank you for so many useful comments. There is sure some truth in the above comment. I have been three times this year and I went to Freshboys every night I was in Bangkok. Plus some other venues. I don't think the lads are getting many offs, unless they are stars. And I see many customers arriving for the shows there so this encourages the management to do long shows. I'm in touch with multiple men who work in these bars and their current reports are very various on business. I think if they can get a couple of offs a week they are fine. If they are not popular and spend night after night grossing 400 bt and spending 200 bt on taxis it is not sustainable. If we were once young and penniless we can be a bit generous to them.

I was there about 15 years ago and loved it. Despite the many western tourists, it had a tranquility about it and didn't feel overrun or any less authentic. There was an outdoor food stall that sold big bowls of rice and veggies every evening for about 50 cents. The bánh mì sold on the streets was fantastic. A list of tips for tourists posted on the street said giving a donation to the monks during the almsgiving should include at least a bit of a sacrifice to mean something so buying a little bag of cooked rice from the women selling it on the street doesn't count. Instead, I gave one of the monks enough cash to make me think twice about it. I was pretty much broke at the time so it wasn't much. A couple of the women selling rice noticed however and it was like I had stolen that money out of their pockets. They were furious. I should bought some of the rice from them too. It's one of the places I've been to in my life that I remember more than most. Also in Laos, the drunken tube float on the river at Vang Vieng. I gave my wallet and passport to a Canadian woman to carry in her drybag and somehow we found each other at the end. I was going as fast as I could on the tube, and as a good looking young British guy passed me, I told him I was trying to find a Canadian woman with my wallet and he replied, I'm trying to get away from the woman I slept with last night. Friday night - My new friend last night in Bangkok. Took him to Hotmale Beer Bar 1st floor. Alex was there behind bar counter! Spent about an hour chatting and drinking. From Pattaya Mail North Americans are expected to power a resurgence of western visitors to Thailand in 2023. Thitiporn Maneenate, director of the Americas region for the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said that arrivals from the U.S. and Canada have risen steadily throughout the final months of this year and are expected to remain strong throughout North America’s winter. Thitiporn attributed the growth to wintery conditions, holidays and pent-up desire to travel after the coronavirus pandemic. Air Canada on Dec. 3 launched nonstop service between Vancouver and Bangkok using Boeing 787-9 aircraft that can carry 298 passengers. Other airlines also have increased fights and frequencies to Thailand, he said.

I agree with you 200 percent. As you can see from my blogpost of September 2022 (Bangkok gogo bars: 15 years of price rises) I came to same conclusion. The bars got themselves into a vicious cycle of focussing on shows (which were never more than third rate), reeling straight gawkers in and relentless price rises. I also have records from 10 - 15 years ago where I noted my observations regarding customer numbers, and the current footfall that the bars are getting is only about half of what these bars had in 2008 - 2010. Actually, since there were twice as many bars in operation in 2008 - 2010, this means that the footfall today in all the existing bars combined is perhaps only a quarter of the traffic the entire industry had in those years. What we need are a couple more places with the easy-going atmosphere of Tawan, but differentiating themselves by having twinks, boys-next-door, etc so as not to compete directly against each other.

There was one performance where two hunks danced around a lady customer seated on a chair. They ended up pretending to pleasure her. Lucky bitch. Then there was a birthday song sung for one lady customer who was already half drunk. By the end of the night, she was totally drunk. She and her two friends (one male and one female) and a group of Jupiter guys were next to our table drinking the whole night. We were afraid that she might vomit. After the show ended close to midnight, the guys came out to present themselves on stage. I wanted to call over the guy I liked but I was too late. Mamasan had already sent him to a group of (Chinese?) male customers at table on the opposite side. He started drinking with and hugging one of them. Lucky bastard. At midnight, the vibe in Jupiter changed. It became a karaoke-dancing bar. Jupiter singers took over and started singing. Customers (mostly the ladies) got up on stage and danced with Jupiter guys. We didn't manage to finish our bottle of Johnnie Walker black label 1-litre (4000 baht) so I asked for the bar to be kept for my next visit (tentatively Saturday and I shall definitely call over the guy I liked)! Andy left first while spoon and I took our time to walk out. Soi 4 was dark. The lights at Circus were off. Balcony was closing. Lo and behold, as we walked past Banana, we could hear loud music. We were greeted by the bald headed guy with moustache from Hotmale. He had moved to Banana. He was happy to see us. Feeling unsatisfied because we didn't get anyone from Jupiter, we went in and had such a surprise. There was lip synching performance by drag queens but these queens were pretty good. Bar had customers with some single male customers accompanied by Banana guys. Because most seats were taken, we sat in front row and that was how we had good view and direct interaction with the Banana guys who came on shortly. Average types. Not hunks like Jupiter. All wearing white shorts. Would have wanted them to be in briefs but it's alright. Spoon picked guy with best body. He spoke to him directly and negotiated a long-time. I recognised two Laos guys from Freshboys whom I had fun before in the past. I didn't know who to choose so I got both of them. We didn't buy any guy drinks (even though it was the cheapest in Bangkok at 250 baht). We just paid for our own drinks and off fees. And yes, I need to mention - mamasan Lucy is at Banana! Many forum members would remember her from Lucky Boys or even further back at Soi Twilight. We managed to get out without her asking for tips while her back was turned. Back in my hotel room, I drank and caught up with the Laos guys. World Cup football match was on TV. We made quite a bit of noise. Hotel staff called to say one of the guests in the other room complained about the noise. We quietened down for remaining of the time. After the football match ended at 4am, the Laos guys left half drunk but happy with their tips.

I was there month ago, Prince closed, staff at Senso entirely new but that may change on short notice- keep in mind they re-opened not long ago so may be still looking for guys and some may return. You won't be disappointed at Arena, great staff, some new , some veterans but certainly there's choice. From other places with similar types you may try Sabaidee in the same soi Pluk Chit Sanctuary Spa is ( it was opened in December so I assume still is ) and Jey Spa in Sukhumvit soi 41. As for bars try also Moongligt and entirely new Queens Club (just renamed from New Twilight ) in the same soi Nature Boys and Super A are around the corner from Tawan Have fun !

Amazing how quiet it is here. Could it be that most people are planning a trip to Thailand this winter? I just got back from Pattaya a few days ago and couldn't wait to leave. Taking all things in consideration, I didn't like it. My trip to Colombia has been pushed forward a week (by me) and I am really curious if I will enjoy it more than I did Thailand. I will celebrate new year in Medellín. When I get back, I'll write a report about both trips. I tried to write one about Thailand, but I have no clue what happened. Is it me or is Thailand not interesting for me anymore... Anyway, I'll be in Medellín for the whole month of January. If someone wants to go for a coffee or a beer, let me know. Which is normal for me on vacations as I follow logic that less time is wasted on sleep, more disposable vacation time I have. Unfortunately with age I start having problem of sticking to my own rules. Plane from Siem Reap to Don Muang was almost full , luckily two out of very few free seats left were in my row , not that it mattered much in 45 minutes flight. Immigration was breeze with nobody in lines and since I travel with carry-on it was no more than 15 minutes from leaving aircraft when I was in arrival hall extending my SIM card ( 249 baht for 8 days ) and marching toward SRT Red line station. On my way I stopped in “Thai street food” stalls in corridor between station and airport and for lack of chicken with cashew nuts offering I had roasted duck with rice for 65 baht. There they still use coupon system, they same like is similar venue at Swampy. One needs to check price of desired dish and purchase proper amount in coupons or alternatively estimate it and unused portion is easily refundable. Dom Muang SRT Red line station Electric train was fast , clean and uncrowded. In Bang Sue station I switched to MRT and went all the way to San Yam station from where it was short walk to Raya. Of course I utilized that shortcut through former Soi Twilight territory ( see below). former soi Twilight seen from Raya's roof My friend and our contributor 18past19 arrived earlier today and stays in the same hotel but I did not disturb him , knowing well what jet lag is and how exciting first day in Bangkok tends to be. Just sent him Line I’m already in then I went to do some shopping and did my usual laundry. Since I travel light my usual first thing in the room, wherever I travel , is to wash my shirt and undies , in Raya they provide even drying rack which one can set on balcony and things are dried in few hours in the sun which was a case today. Then I did walk arround Patpong and Silom checking what changed in 10 days and when I felt hungry I went to soi 4 to treat myself with schnitzel at G’Bangkok . Early in the evening my friend let me know he is free so I went to his room one floor down up for news exchange and see what’s new since last time we saw each other during our respective trips in Dec 2021. We always have plenty to talk about as by God’s grace we are fond of exactly the same types which among other things means we often engage the same guys giving leads or warnings to each other. And no , we never fight over our guys. Tonight we decided to go to Jupiter. I’m big fan of how their boys looks like and how handsome they are but from my first visit in their former location where Moonlight is now I never had luck with offs from there exception being certain two transplants from Tawan. But tonight I was glad to go as I trust my friend’s guts and I wanted to check if certain Handsome Cambodian ( HC) may be there. Since my friend is on good terms with mamasan there we got quite prominent seat as well as good news from mamasan. HC, in whom both my friend and I are independently interested in meeting is not there, went to Pattaya, but mamasan will have his contact. As I said my friend is in contact with mamasan and my stay in Thailand will be longer so I decided to be in the shadows, only hoping I will be able to get a glimpse of him somehow and as they say, see what happens. First he needs to get hold of him anyways. As I said I’m not big fan of Jupiter for no less than five reasons. First I mentioned – never had good off from there. Second, I don’t like sober, smile absent, look of their boys when parading and presenting themselves as it’s hard to assess if they are interested or not, Third, I don’t like their modus operandi when boys are waiting in the shadows , presenting themselves only every half an hour or so during their walkabout or during show if they participate and then back to shadows. Fourth -A/C is usually too cold,. Fifth , music is too loud, sin shared by other bars too like Dreamboys BKK and BBB Pattaya. Tonight though was bit different. A/c was bearable and so was music, at least did not bother me perhaps because I was in better then my normal good mood, having fun meeting my friend. Boys were still in shadows but during their presentation I saw few shy smiles, not directed at me , but my friend and other patrons got few so change of mood for better. Then show which was very entertaining , quite long and with few glimpses of nudity, rare treat at Jupiter. My friend decided to off one of their specimens and noticing that I took interest in another one encouraged me to try. Trusting his judgement I sent few smiles toward the guy , handsome and very well muscled and was shocked he smiled back once and again. In such a case I become Speedy Gonzalez , asked mamasan to bring him over, treated boy with drink (400) , made sure he is willing to go with me ( I always ask “do you want to go with me?” ) and shortly , after drinks were emptied and show finished, 500 baht off fee was paid and all 4 of us were marching to Raya. Who would think it will be monumental, historical day for me ? I offed guy from Jupiter who turned out to be not only well built- normal in their offerings but also well behaved and very enthusiastic, almost more than I could handle. Yahooo , I was happy with my off from Jupiter !!!. I tried to ask him to stay till morning to which he initially agreed but then changed his mind inventing some excuse and saving me some money in process. When he left after good 2 hours I was so happy that I tried to get second servings from Grindr but that did not work, guy priced himself out of my range and was firm with that but so was I and that was reason I finished my day 1 sleeping alone but smiling.

Since your original objective was to meet cute twinks and see beautiful beaches in Phuket - and now you are leaning more towards going to Pattaya - please read my trip report (see below hyperlink) from November where I visited beautiful Koh Larn - the island that is directly in front of Pattaya city - which is only a 20 minute speed boat away or 40 minute ferry ride. The beaches on Koh Larn are beautiful - but not as beautiful as in Phuket. Thank you! I will be in Bangkok for at least 5 days, and then about 7 days in either Phuket or Pattaya. And then another 10 days or so in Chiang Mai or somewhere else purely for food and tourism (either ruins or some hiking). I'm not planning to go for any boys in those 10 days - that will be pure tourism The earlier posts on Phuket and Pattaya were very helpful. I'd like mostly massages and off some boys either from a gogo bar or just on the apps. I might go to one show, but that's not my focus. It sounds like the scene in Phuket is still pretty quiet, so I might just go to Pattaya instead. I thought it would be fun to find beautiful beaches and cute twinks in Phuket, but if there are better boy options in Pattaya, I'll just do that instead. I unfortunately don't have a lot of time on this trip, so I don't want to feel that I wasted time in a place where the options are limited. you are not , depending what you are looking for. If you are looking for beach with clean water , gothic catherals or Angkorian ruins , yes you can give Pattaya a miss. If you are looking for available guys , particularly on twinky side , you may reconsider . Do not skip Bangkok if that's your first time in Thailand

Good advice. That entrance/exit is also more discreet than the main entrance on Patong Two, should you wish to avoid friends or acquaintances in that street. In October they were in briefs. If you stumbled into the Hard Cock show preparation room, the guys were wall to wall wanking out of even the briefs. Day 6 I said not a bad end of day 5 reporting from previous day but now I need to add not a good start to day 6. After having some fun, thanks to those drinks at Banana, I feel asleep quite soon . Only, in middle of the night, to be waked up to light glaring from the phone’s screen and quite loud sound of music played right by my ear. Phone addiction suppressed last night resurrected. It was both annoying and upsetting, light , noise and obvious lack of consideration, specially at that hour. I genuinely like the guy so decided to bear it for a while but after perhaps 20 minutes I told him the it’s too loud and he may wake up people in other rooms. His solution was to go to the living room, at least he closed bedroom door so I fell asleep soon but when waked up in the morning bed was empty. I went to living room to find him on the phone , he did not even bother to rise a head, not to mention explanation or showing remorse.. Not exactly service one expects from guy hired for 4 nights. Why I said nothing I don’t know but I did not. Angel’s genes perhaps? We went downstairs for a breakfast, did not talk much as I was not happy and he was on the Facebook. Then I left him in the room as I went to UNESCO to see my friend , pick up my things I left with him 2 days ago and of course exchange news, not very happy ones on my side obviously. We agreed that it must be out of control addiction. In view of deal we had who would behave like that imperiling tip 4 times of 4000. Upon returning I found him on the phone again , did not even bother to raise his head to say hallo. Nice change was that shirt was removed, perhaps thought as consolation price for me. Angelic side of me announced that I’m taking boat along Chao Praya and asked if he is interested to go with me. .Answer was bit surprising , “ yes and on way back we stop at Icon Siam and you can buy me ( I forgot make) jeans for 2900” , just like that. I was left with no option that drawing his attention to fact that being glued on the phone all the time and ignoring me is not what I’m paying for . Answer was quiet and composed “ If I can’t use my phone I’m going back to Pattaya “. “ I won’t be holding you back” I said. In few minutes he was packed , said “ have a good luck” and was gone. I don’t know why but I gave him his 4000 for the time as agreed originally. I was not upset nor pissed off, in fact I felt sad for him as clearly this addiction spinned out of control and beyond logic. Who that way would waste option of making 12000 in 3 days ? In fact it would be 4000 more since my plan was to give him 1000 extra per night if all will go well. Obviously one of my most favorite guys of all time is in deep trouble but I can’t be taken for a ride to that extend. I’d feel bad for myself. So when he left I was relieved that I cut short such affair. Of course called my friend right away with news and he was not surprised and was as concerned as me about sanity of all that. Liberated, I took tourist boat from Saphan Taksin all the way to Kao San. First thing I did there was to sit down, gulp a Chang beer and eat my staple in Thailand – chicken with cashew nuts. I wanted to buy day pack as one I brought from home broke this morning (unrelated to my guest behavior ) but did not find what I wanted i.e. one which can be folded into neat package when not used so I returned to civilization and went straight to Arena for another serving of massage there. Today’s selection was even better than yesterday but since I noticed Fai whom I know from before Angkor Wat was built I knew right away who gets my business, specially that I remember his massage was outstanding then and was the same today as it turned out. Energized went to hotel as it was about time Christian PFC was supposed to show up and from there we went by BTS to Madrid Tavern to exchange news over pizzas there. Over years we developed system of ordering there two different ones and sharing them half -half. We walked back to Patpong , it’s actually not that far. We skipped bar visits as he is not happy with recent trend of fully dressed boys. I, believing that if you don’t have what you like , you like what you have, in the evening went to Hot Male. First had a drink and talk with P, one of new guys there, cousin of one of veterans as I’m eyeing him from day 1. Paulsf told me before I arrived that I will like that new boy and I did indeed. In fact I do like him a lot , I promised to off him some day soon since I had plans for the night already made as soon as HC left me in the morning. Then I took P upstairs for the show but shortly he was called to his duties to beer bar. Not that I felt orphaned as one of their guys whom I offed in May for threesome recognized me , smiled so I called him over , offered drink and gentlemanly told him I’m not offing tonight. Good idea as soon mamasan came and asked me if I will be taking him because some other customer is interested if I don’t. After a while I let boy go and got a glimpse of that other customer – young Asian who took him and one other boy. Vast stamp collection to show I thought. Right after the show I went to Tawan which was already emptying but still I had round of drinks with resident twink , Dam and K, who was one I was taking home as arranged in the morning after HC orphaned me.. I did not waste an opportunity to tease twink again that he doesn’t like me because never wants to go with me, we finally cleared that short time is OK, he refused few times indeed because was under impression I like long time only. I told him I like boys more than long time. K was not hungry so we skipped that part and went home on his new, impressive motorbike. Day 6 which did not start well at least was concluded nicely with massive hunk to embrace.

Wit did not show up so I went to my room to pack up, Lined him ‘ where you are ?”, “I slept in” answer come and was very disappointed when I told him I will be leaving at 12. ‘ Come to say good bye “ he asked. Since I did not have much to pack I went for a stroll to Tukcom and returned by way of Sunee Plaza of course completely empty at that hour but I just wanted to get some fresh air from there. Returning I stopped by Paradise to say good bye and consoled Wit with news I will be back in 2 weeks, he even walked me to the hotel where I found taxi waiting already, good 15 minutes before noon. HC showed up at 12 on the dot, I must command him not only for his good looks but also for being always on time, he must have drop or two of Swiss blood in him. Endearing to me as I know and observe difference between say, 4 and 4.05. It took 2 hours exactly to get to Furama Sathorn which since December trip become my favorite hotel in the Silom area. Big rooms with balconies , breakfast included , close to Chong Nonsi station. I was greeted with news of upgrade, their system probably noticed my recent loyalty and it turned out to be two steps up upgrade as I got a room with separate living room and bedroom . Since we were two and stay was 4 days I asked for 2 door cards, just in case. And nobody blinked and eye when they asked if I want 1 or 2 beds in bedroom and answer was obvious one. We went to eat something at modest Thai place in front of hotel , then HC asked if he can heave some sleep so I left him alone and went to Arena for massage greeted there by Art , the mamasan known to me since 3rd Crusade I think. About 10 guys , all muscular hunks so I had problem of picking one but went for biggest smile. Massage 800 for 1.50hr, I tipped 1500 and session was bordering on fantastic with both massage and afters. When I returned to the room HC was still asleep – I did not know I was so active last night that exhausted him to that extend but it was fine with me. He waked up just when I felt hungry and suggested soi 4 for a dinner , idea I liked so we went to G’Bangkok for my schnitzel and some Thai dish for him. It turned out he is friend with some guys from Banana Club across the soi so after dinner we went there to have some beers and drinks with his friends and when time came we went inside for a show and more drinks. Boys there are more on twinky and next boy side but I having HC beside me I did not pay that much attention to who is available but noticed one guy previously from New Twilight there. There's VERY little udated on Phuket in this Thailand section, and the last sex thread in the Business-Phuket section is 7 months old. I decided to give Phuket its due, and received Emiel's permission to copy-paste here his GREAT Spt report (minus photos), originally a bit buried in pp 7-8 of his magesterial Thailand trip. It will also help to better understand my two forthcoming reports. So here it is: In evening it was time to head to Paradise Complex to see what's left from the gay area. In one street good old Zag Club is still there, even bigger than before. Next to it is G Club. Both have drag shows that you can watch while sitting on their terraces. As they do the show on the street. Zag later continues their show inside. It was very busy at Zag. Between their shows the crowd in dancing and flirting. With some shirtless staff joining in. Crowd is a good mix of falang, Asian, young and older. Everybody enjoying themself and each other... Very good and nice atmosphere. There are two other smaller bars in the street but they actually didn't have any customers when I passed by. The good old boat bar went bankrupt and is gone. There used to be also two go go bars in Paradise, with boys wearing numbered tags that could be offed. But they also didn't surivive covid lockdowns. The owner of Zag Club bought most of the buildings on the street. To avoid any competition coming in. Some of the buildings he is owning are already empty for many years. They are up for sale, but apparently he doesn't want to sell to anybody planning to start a bar or club. Other bars, like G Club, are struggling a bit. For example: Zag is suppose to do their street show until 10pm after which G Club can start theirs, to try to get also some customers in. But Zag just continues their street show till way after 10pm, giving G Club less fair chance to take some business. The bars are next to each other, so they can't do street show at same time because music will reverberate disturbingly. Because of the dominant presence of Zag, that club was full of people while G club only had handful customers on the terrace. If you're coming to Phuket I would suggest to also support the business in G Club a bit and don't forgot to also sit down at their terrace for a drink. If only for the cute and young owner / manager. Their streetshow will start as soon as Zag take theirs inside. In the road parallel of the bar street, there are a few gay massage places. Will check them out later. With no go go bars being re-opened (yet), to get some fun in Phuket you have to scroll the apps, venture to the massage shops or just flirt with boys you like in the nightlife. There are a few massage places catering for us kind of people in the Paradise Complex. Most of them situated in the middle Soi. The one directly in front of the hotel tower. The most boys and greatest variation of types I found on offer at 4 Massage. Also Blue Dolphin has his fare share of boys. But don't forget to check out the massage shops with smaller amount of boys. As there can be a stunner also. I found for example a very goodlooking boy at Sabai Sabai. I'm told that they still have gogo boys at Spartacus(in Paradise), might be worth keeping your eye open for them. I couldn't find Spartacus. Google made me believe Spartacus was in the beginning of the Soi where Zag club is. But nothing open there. The first open establishment on the left side when you enter is Zag. On the right side there's another bar but is seems to be a normal bar. No gogo boys or anything exciting... So maybe they moved to another place that is unfindable, or your information is unfortunately not up to date..

Post-covid crowds did not arrive yet so it was quite pleasant , even at Angkor Wat there was no problem to climb to the highest accessible level , usually restricted to max 100 people. (5 years ago I was told 2 hours wait , 21 years ago nobody was counting or even watching ) post-covid morning crowd at Angkor Wat steps to highest level and view from there Nice surprise was extension of ticket’s validity, 3 day ticket at 62$ till end of 2022 is valid 5 days of consecutive 7 instead of just three. 7 day ticket costing 72 $ is extended to 10 days out of 30. Don’t lose it as tickets are being checked One inconvenience of buying ticket is that office is not located anywhere near the temples and requires detour but there’s bright spot – tickets can be bought at Banteai Srei temple. My apologies to those who think sightseeing part was too long but certainly there are members and readers here who never been to Angkor so I wanted to give than some idea what they missed. Contrary to what one may think I was not templed out when flying out of Siem Reap to Bangkok after 10 days in Cambodia , 7 of which spent at Siem Reap. I could easily spend another week there not only because there were still plenty temples to visit but also quite a few boys at 168Massage to try. Oh, well there’s always next time. From Pattaya News A Russian basketball prodigy raised in Pattaya, Mr. Alexey Sobolev, passed away at the young age of 19 years old after he was electrocuted by a defective lighting pole at a basketball court in the Banglamung district. Sawang Boriboon rescuers came to Mr. Sobolev’s aide at 10 PM on December 15th when they were notified that the Russian teen passed out after touching a faulty lighting pole. Mr. Sobolev, a well-respected member of Pattaya’s basketball community, was barely breathing while lying on a basketball court in Soi Sukhumvit Pattaya 15 in front of Pattaya Technical College in Chonburi’s Nong Pla Lai subdistrict. After administering basic life support, the rescuers rushed Mr. Sobolev to the nearest hospital, but unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his wounds and sadly passed away. One of the many eyewitnesses and friends of the deceased player, Mr. Bodin Thongsuea, 20, told rescuers that Sobolev had gone to fetch a basketball that had bounced away and landed near an iron fence and the deadly power pole. While soaking in sweat, the victim accidentally touched the pole with a power leakage and flopped to the ground, losing consciousness and tragically later passing away.
