  1. First qantas flight Sydney to Santiago direct since pandemic began, onto Rio in a small plane with no business class. My seat mate in PE was a handsome family guy. When getting off he took the amenity kit, blanket and the pillow and an apple from the plane with him. He reminded me I have forgotten mine, I thanked him and explained my carry on bag was too full with no room for extra items. Take home message - maybe it’s okay to take away onboard items in South American flights? In my last 2 trips with United from IAH to GIG I saw seat 1A lady collected all used Polaris amenity bags from other seats, Sunday 30/10 - landed in time when announcement of Lula’s win was made. Firework outside of my window until after midnight. Not going out. V visited for the night. He is the tall handsome twink I met in my last trip. He and his cousin G always go to work together at 117. Now G got married to a rich girl and he has a Land Rover and Gucci sneakers. They have not been working for a month. I heard there is a truck driver protest-blocking highway from Sao pulo GRU airport to city the next day. I was lucky. Monday 31/10. Heavy rain está chovendo. Only pointe 202 open. Got there late about 8pm. Not crowded with only a few boys. Two were eager to offer the service sitting next to me showing off their big cocks. I have seen them both before. A new face with muscle from Uberlândia turned up. His name is T. I asked for price in front of all 3. Muscle guy T asked for 150, the skinny big dick guy asked for 200 then dropped to 120 for a 3some, then 150 with gozar (cum). I went with T solo as he said he is versatile, but he has never got a hard on in the room. His muscled arse and legs are unbelievable. He was excited to shivering when his nipples were played. I knew I was stupid but I did not put a condom on and eventually came in his arse. He was aware of the whole thing but did not say no. I gave him 200, asked for his WhatsApp and Instagram, and took a morning after pill when back home. He is not good at replying WhatsApp message. He has a degree in ME. He is handsome too. his balls are apparently shrunken. We all know why by seeing his perfect muscled body. That’s the price to pay. take home message - 1) have some prep/ anti viral ready for my future trip as I can’t predict when I will act stupid again. 2) if you use steroid to grow muscle, your balls will shrink. Tue 1/11 supposed to be the biggest night for 117 but there was a massive storm at 6pm. Still a good turnout at 117 but mostly familiar faces. Half of the boys I know have had put on an extra layer of fat, the other half an extra layer of muscle to the degree I no longer like. I saw this new young guy with a red cap spreading his legs while seating in a table with clients. I always fancy long thick thighs. He was cute too. He went upstairs with a pretty hot client, and came back sitting in the table again. He has never been available this night. I decided to go home empty handed. A hot boy (I saw him before too) was sitting on the stairs waiting for Uber to Botafogo. Yes it is correct it takes ages for Uber to come if it is raining. Sneaky thing is that you need to pay first before the Uber app tells you how long you have to wait. Shopped for toilet paper and beef in the supermarket next to Gloria metro then jumped onto a taxi. No longer empty handed às I have my toilet paper rolls in one hand and beef in another. Got back to apartment in Flamengo I saw my neighbour girl screaming in the hallway escorted back by police. She told me 3 “men’s” were following her and trying to get her just 300 metres from here in front of lojas americana. I gave her a pack of chocolate and a can of Heineken and wished her calm down and sleep well. Take home message: táxis are more reliable than Uber when raining. Keep safe always even in the “safe” neighbourhood. Wed 2/11 biggest night at Pointe. Junior was bartending. Still raining outside but a good turnout of boys and clients. Still mostly familiar faces. Hot muscle T is here again (he does not seem to go to 117). I told him I wanted to bottom tonight and he did not offer to top. Went to upstairs bar to check out more boys and saw this giant handsome guy standing at 6”5 just finishing a client. Beautiful thick thighs. He asked for a beer and then another. He smelt drunk. Big hard cock but did not want to perform properly in the room. Hurried off but gave me his cum in the shower. I gave him 200 as he asked for before sex. He then came back to me saying 300 two minutes later. I said no as we have agreed on 200 with gozar. He then backed off. He told me he is 32. His instagram has his swimwear modelling photos. unsatisfied i started looking again. A short guy with solid but proportionated muscles came to me. We waited for 15mm for the free suite. I saw him before but never had him. He was 20 yrs old with 2 sons, he was doing a good job. Got to the steam room before shower to go home. Hotter and steamer than 117’s. A hard working garoto wearing a figure-of-8 splint for his recent clavicular fracture came for business. He spoke very good English and told me he has not had a client tonight. I apologised as I cannot take more dick and admired his working spirit. Take home message - garotos over 30 turn to be sneakier and softer muscles in spite of still in shape. I have had similar experience with another beautiful 30+ surfer guy who frequents both saunas, he cannot top, and is an unwilling bottom. let’s hope tomorrow will not be raining again.

  4. Now with years of experience and being able to read Thai, no problem finding these places. Most of them are placed correctly on googlemaps (only if the name is only in Thai a problem for the average tourist - and indeed, that's the problem, Home Spa is in Thai only on google maps). Street view helps a lot to confirm location (for my general travel satellite image as well). In all cases in OP, the numbers refer to the alley, but often do not mean the massage place is in that alley, but near the entrance, or even across the main road. In Thailand, soi numbers are even on one side of the main road, odd on the other side. There might be sois with slash, e.g. there are Silom Soi 22, followed by 22/1, followed by 26 (24 missing?). The odd and even get out of sync, e.g. Silom Soi 15 is opposite Soi 22/1. In Thailand and Cambodia, I always found a sign, in some cases small, with the name of the shop. Only in Myanmar did I have to ask locals to show me the way or call the shop for directions, once I got to where it was supposed to be but no sign.

  9. You've probably read other posts here about Medellin, but that's what I'd suggest. I have not been to Lima, but from what I read here, there are drawbacks. Medellin was sex paradise, if that's what you're looking for. Many available men - some free, some for pay. Good restaurants, clubs and saunas (I didn't visit any) and friendly people. Mexico City, Lima and Pattaya all probably have better food - Colombian food is pretty basic meat and potatoes - but the men in Colombia were among the hottest I've ever encountered on my travels. And the weather is also perfect - eternal spring.

  10. Apologies. I should have written if in black he can top YOU. I am surprised that some mebers want everything fed to them on a plate and clearly can't be bothered actually checking sites. As I stated, @Tartegogo listed this one on his first post.. Had @dscrtsldnbi bothered to check, he would have noticed this grid at the top of the Boy List - These are the young men's statistics and what the boy's do. It seems remarkably clear - and vastly easier and faster than finding out such information in Bangkok and most other places! As for the comment about cock sizes and the use of feet and inches. A cheap barb to expect a vastly different country culturally like Japan from adhering to western norms!

  11. For me, on my visit last weekend, Dreamboys was the return to bar - at least 20 boys onstage shirtless but dressed in jeans - all handsome fit smiling and encouraging. My friend and I were the only customers from around 11.00pm till closing at 2.00am. Delightful 😊😊 Several other bars we visited had very few customers except Boys Boys Boys which was crowded

  12. The Japanese lack of street names is logical (to them!): "why would you want to label the empty spaces between buildings?" 😵 Because of this, they have small district police stations all over urban areas, whose main job is to give directions: https://jref.com/articles/koban-japanese-police-boxes.199/ "If you want to know the way, ask an omawari-san".

  16. Sorry about the pieces but I'm using tablet which I hate. Despite of late arrival I was in talks with floridarob about meeting tonight, we never met before. He told me that he is waiting at Hotmale beer bar so after showering but unfortunately wearing the same shirt of day long flight I rushed there. Staff recognized me on approach and greeted with open arms and news " your friend is waiting for you". I noticed immediately elderly gentleman sitting by the bar so joined him with something like "finally after all those years, face behind the name", he looked bit confused with my cogeniality, said something polite and finally some of the staff pointed that other guy, mu h younger and better built is, one I, m supposed to greet. It was floridarob indeed. So we exchanged latest news about Thailand, scene, as well as Mexico in view of my recent trip to Puerto Vallarta Vallarta and past 1 am as streets, were emptying rapidly we parted ways and instead of going back to Raya I decided to do a late night walk through the area, always good idea after bars are closing as one can catch some companions going home empty handed. So Silom and Patpong it was then turning left on Suriwong towards Tawan with hope that some boys, will be still having a during on the corner of soi Tawan and that street which is their habit for years. And on approach I saw three shades indeed. Coming closer I see one unfamiliar face, one familiar of Dam and third one even more familiar of guy who left them perpaps 4- 5 years ago whom I offed in the past several times. One of those you can,t forget due to their muscular, steely sculpted bodies. We recognized each other in instant. Hug was spontaneous and very strong. I remembered his name, he forgot mine but remembered hotel we met last time in soi 3. No price for guessing who was my companion I took home. What a surprise, one of those, you reasonably think you will never see again was there, smile. muscle and all. As a bonus we were in the room in minute as he lifted us on his motorbike. Who cared about lost luggage in such circumstances.

  17. This is my 23rd trip to Thailand and it started very well as I managed to get, unusual in those expensive times, still very good rate so decided to visit few countries in the region. Started very well with plane full and departing on time. I usually travel with carry on only and so did this time but airline appealed before boarding to check carry on as dur to full load. Several. People decided to be good citizen among them me. And let me know, it was not a good idea which I learned shortly after take off. Captain announced that due to headwinds we can expect as much as 70 minutes delay, estimation proved exact. For me it meant that comfortable 90 minutes of connection time at Narita become in instant hair rising 20. And no, I was not naive to expect that in such time my luggage will be reloaded and very doubtful even if I will be reloaded. Japan proved efficient, there were scores of staff pointing into right direction not only 4 of us, Bangkok bound but also at least 40- 50 Manila bound Philippines. So sprint through the security, run to the Thai Air plane, walk of shame through cabin as my seat was in the last row and 10 minutes late we departed to arrive in Bangkok on the dot actually. Of course there was lady by conveyor belt with my name to inform me that luggage will arrive tomorrow and it was, quite liberating to go to the train station with tiny day pack. In May I took first train of the day from Swampy, this time I managed still to catch last one from Siam to Sala Daeng, walked through still busy Thaniya to Raya. Front door was closed as expected since it was past midnight but sign pointed to service elevator in the back. As veteran of that place I knew process anyways, there was still somebody on the reception, they checked me in smoothly requiring 1000 baht deposit. And I found myself in paradise again.

  18. I am often very confused by Google maps and how people refer to streets on Line or on this forum. How do streets in Bangkok work? I'll take one example: another thread here talks about Home Massage on intramara(sic) 29. When I search on google, I only find Inthamara (with an h) 29 and it must be right because it is just in the right area according to the rest of the post. Are h and r equivalent transliterations for a Thai sound? Also, I looked at their line account and they report this location: อินทามระ31 But looking on the map I can only see Inthamara 29 and inthamara 33, it looks like 31 was replaced by a giant motorway. https://goo.gl/maps/wmcdy1Hq1fkU8p4P8 Interestingly, when I type "31 อินทามระ" into google maps, it takes me straight to a house on inthamara 25. https://goo.gl/maps/qiWVfmhnjvR3YwjcA So how does it work? Does placing the number before the street name has a completely different meaning from placing it after the street name? If it is before the street name, the number is the house number, not the alley number? Also, when they only give you the alley number, how do you know which house to go to? Some don't seem to have a sign. Do you ask the neighbours for the "gay massage spa with the cute boys"? 🙂 Someone help this newbie please.

  25. Thank you! This Bangkok Airport Limousine fast-track service is the one I used several years ago. From what I remember, the lines were really short that time, and I didn't really save much time at all. But it was a nice insurance policy to have. Oh, and it's much, much cheaper than the service in your first link!

  26. I arrived twice, mid and end September. On first occasion no queue. On second occasion, fast lane had about 12 people, and it took about 10 mins. As reported, on second arrival only one fast lane open. PS. On your departure from Swampy, you have to fight a bit to use fast track to get through the much shorter security queue. If you are over 70, as I am. I had to appeal to the supervisor, before I got through!

    High season

I am retired, but prefer to visit Thailand during the "high season". It's because I find the weather to be pleasant from Dec to Feb - not too hot and muggy. Also like getting away from the cooler and wet weather where I live. If booked well in advance, you can get pretty good rates on hotels and flights, which I did, for my next trip in February.

  28. I have written to several Pensions Ministers pointing this out. The real annoyance for me is that I elected to pay the full national insurance contributions even when living for much of my career overseas. I did this because I assumed I might at some stae return to live and work. I paid in full to protect my access to the National Health Service and gain the full basic pension (including its annual increases). Both were governmet policy when I opted to live overseas. Never in decades did any UK government department inform me that, despite my contributions over the years, access to the NH Service would be restricted only to those who returned to live in the UK for a minimum of six months a year. Nor that pensions would be frozen when first drawn down. As a UK citizen I am indeed penalised because I live abroad. A refugee to the UK gets better financial treatment.

  29. Here is one fast track service Fast track service I've seen elsewhere where people recommended them, costs a bit but if a person arrives at times when immigration is normally full it may pay for itself rather than queue up. There is another one that is a bit cheaper by the looks Fast track number 2

  32. I was there a while back and liked every facet about this hotel from the service rendered from those behind the front desk, my calls to my room regarding my guest ( a hot masseur who visited me), the proximity to the clubs/bars, the price per night, etc. But again it was some 14 years ago. FloridaRob is a great one to give salient advice, for he is definitely a "world traveler" who can guide one positively.

  34. So you had nong may? You likely know that Lao (real) and/or Isany are interchangeable for many. The MIN suggested tip here is 600-in other such places it seems to vary with the guy. From what I gathered else-or other forum-many of these shops (there must be 8 or 9-at least along Intamara, some change names very frequently) belong to same owner and the pool of guys seems also to be the same-they do not stay in the shop, as is/was mostly the case in such shops, but at a convenient close-by place from where they are summoned up by fone. Probably to escape police raids for ´illegals´. Plus that the standard layout of these shop-row-houses does not allow for much other way to arrange things. My bet is that Tune is Burmese. Well, anyway, mant thanks for your reports, counting the days now till I have to get to airport and board the flight-to change halfway in Dubai to reach BKK. Reports and perhaps new (or maybe already closed) places can also be found on a chinese (Taiwan I gather) site gaycoolthai.com-click on Thai massage and then let google translate it (pigs=THB, mechanist=masseur).

  35. About three weeks ago I reported above on conversation I had with three massage workers I’ve known for 5+ years. Last night I again had opportunity to talk with them along with a fourth guy who’s a newcomer to the Bangkok scene. When the topic got around to tipping, I was taken aback by just how poorly some customers who come from non-tipping (north Asia) cultures compensate them. I heard accounts of receiving paltry tips as low as 20 baht for an hour’s work. One lad told me did a two-hour oil and was rewarded with 100 baht that same night. When I asked why doesn’t the boss of their shops have a minimum tip policy (like I’ve encountered outside of the downtown area) they say no shop wants to go first because bosses feel it would put their shop at competitive disadvantage. The other point that was quashed is that the the boys would prefer young, good looking guys to massage. All four said they’re not in it for the sex and see their work as a job that pays their bills. Although they expect their clients to be clean and “not smelly”, age or physical condition don’t influence them as much as the likelihood of being fairly rewarded. Based on my experience with shops that have a minimum tip policy, I’ve yet to encounter a sub-standard massage. When both they masseur and customer have same expectations, the results have all been positive in my experience.

    High season

I show up later this month, which is usually the beginning of high season. I chose "high season" because: -I have not had a vacation in almost three years and am really eager for one. -I can be relatively certain the monsoon rains will subside right before I arrive. -I'm hoping to sneak in before another covid outbreak hits like one did sometime last December. Of course, I hope there are no more covid outbreaks but we all know there will be and they seem to come at certain times of the year. -I like the crowds. Silom Soi 4 and Silom Soi 2 are so much more exciting when there are a lot of people enjoying themselves. This even holds true for the Patpong bars, which not only have more customers drinking and having fun but more go-go boys on stage than they do in the low season, at least in my experience. But this is not my favorite time of year to visit Bangkok. I love the city when it's throwing big parties during Songkran and New Year's that gay men from all over Asia show up for. These weeks draw even more tourists than at any other time during "high season." But I love Bangkok when Thais, some of the world's greatest hedonists, really let loose. And judging from the crowds of imported hedonists, I'm not the only one with this preference. Maybe I'll come again in April for the SK and S2O parties. I have been to Thailand during low season as well. I hate it. It feels desolate. I miss the parties. I miss the excitement. I get that hotels and flights are cheaper, but I have so few vacation days I'm not going to waste them being a tightwad and not enjoying myself.

  37. I have used King of College quite a lot. Nice twink boys, mostly, though not so many bottoms, they say Westerners cock too big! Still I always found a good boy, you agree what you want before, and they stuck to it. They also insist you brush your teeth, and use mouth wash. Very reasonable prices

  38. You're expecting consistency and correctness. TiT so it isn't going to happen. People make mistakes when transliterating unfamiliar languages. Google Maps regularly gets things wrong outside of California, and is slow to correct them. Given a mixture of letters and numbers that it doesn't recognise, it's likely to guess that you want what someone else recently searched for. There is no single satisfactory romanization of Thai, so everybody makes up their own. (There's an official romanization but it isn't satisfactory: it doesn't even distinguish short and long vowels, never mind tones) The 'r' sound is fluid. It's a marker of the Bangkok prestige dialect but in other parts of the country it becomes 'l' or disappears altogether. And at the end of a word it's pronounced 'n' . In this case the Thai spelling has no 'r' symbol ร, so 'intramara' is just wrong. 'inthaamara' would be a better representation (h after t means it's aspirated - a 'breathy' T, not the English "th" sound) and the second vowel is long. A canonical address would be something like "<plot number>/<house number> thanon <street name> soi <number>" but there are many variations HTH 🙃

  40. From Channel News Asia TOKYO: Tokyo began issuing partnership certificates to same-sex couples who live and work in the capital on Tuesday (Nov 1), a long-awaited move in a country without marriage equality. The certificates allow LGBTQ partners to be treated as married couples for some public services in areas such as housing, medicine and welfare. More than 200 smaller local authorities in Japan have already made moves to recognise same-sex partnerships since Tokyo's Shibuya district pioneered the system in 2015. The status does not carry the same rights as marriage under the law but represents a welcome change for couples like Miki and Katie, who have long had no official proof of their relationship. "My biggest fear has been that we would be treated as strangers in an emergency," Miki told AFP at home in Tokyo, where photos of the Japanese 36-year-old with her American girlfriend Katie, 31, adorn the fridge. As of Friday morning, 137 couples had applied for a certificate, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike said last week. Hopes are high that the introduction of the same-sex partnership certificates, which cover both Tokyo residents and commuters, will help fight anti-LGBTQ discrimination in Japan. "The more people make use of these partnership systems, the more our community will feel encouraged to tell family and friends about their relationships," without "hiding their true selves", Miki said. 41. That is how it is supposed to work. Years ago when I went to the fantastic Ubon Ratchathanee Candle Festival, I had heard about a gay sauna. No longer recall the name, only that it was on Soi 2 leading off a larger road. I assumed it would be easy beause that road only had sois on the side leading down to the river. Having walked quite a long way from my hotel, I found Soi 1. After a while I found Soi 3. Where was Soi 2? After dark there seemed to be no one else in that part of Ubon. I retraced my steps. Perhaps it was very small and I had missed it. No luck. In the heat and humidity I was about to give up when I noticed that Soi 2 was actually quite a way after Soi 3! So, Soi 1 followed by 3 followed by 2. The sauna was quite pleasantly laid out and soon was worth the trip!

  43. Basis: only big streets have names-the translation/transcription can vary an awful lot-also between western languages These streets will have dozens of side streets, nbrd the same way as houses mostly in the west: 1 side the odds, other side the evens. (like Sliom 2 - 4 -6 etc> These sidestreets= soi can also have sub-sois (mostly called yaek, but that means corner) Buildings should be nbrd as also in west but very often the old system still applies: in order of when they were built (I think the JPNese also do that) so it may appear hodge-podge. It is very, very common for Thai to ask+ask again where an unknown place is located-or rather to put it all in the hands of your friendly motosay guy or taxidriver. Thai order taximeters mostly not to an adress but a point anyone knows nearby and will then guide driver to place to step off (most taxi´s are used that way) or trust driver to find it by himself if the place is unknown. Besides google there is open source openstreetmaps. org but I still have to compare what it can deliver for BKK This site originates from Germany and is in general pretty good in also transport lines etc.

  44. This confused me, too, when I first went looking for KK Massages. When I was nearly ready to give up, I showed motorbike driver address on phone and he pointed almost directly across the soi to a shop on Sutthisan Winichai Rd. Since then I’ve located Home Massage by using its Intramara location as a sort of mile marker on Sutthisan Winichai Rd. I have no idea if that’s the way it’s suppose to work but it did for me. TIT.

Culturally & linguistically, most of the Mid-East and North Africa forms greater Arabia. Racially, it's all pretty much a jumble. But given the limited choices available to OZ to post this thread, Africa works as well as any and better than most. Which is why I was too much the gentleman to point out his error yesterday.
